I love man in a hurry’s cameo in hatchet town because it implies that 1) he carries a gun, 2) he has the gun because he’s in a hurry, 3) this is common knowledge, therefore 4) there’s a good chance he’s used it before, and 5) no one has done anything about this

my favorite implication from npmd's pro shot is that the chasitys are both respectful of pronouns and also deeply homophobic. like karen is the one that accuses ziggy, using their pronouns effortlessly, and then later grace says that ruth is in hell for being bisexual. it's so funny. oh you're trans? oh cool! please tell me your pronouns and chosen name so i can condemn you to hell properly :)

People don’t appreciate this joke near enough. Cause it works on 3 different levels

One is the face value “you look like shit” joke.

The second is the meta level, being Joey Richter also played the homeless guy in every Hatchetfield story.

The third is referencing that in episode 2 of nightmare time, it’s revealed that Peters brother Ted Spankoffsky is actually that same homeless man.

You just gotta love how Steph flirts with Pete constantly, asks him out more than once, and then has the gall to say "you're obsessed with me" my sister in christ the call is coming from inside the house

No, because people keep acting like Grace Chastity being consumed with a lust for the power that Lords in Black provided her doesn't count as a world ending Cataclysm - but it very much does. Not only has she shown little to no empathy for others throughout the entire show and only ever felt bad for lying to authority figures and being horny - but the final song of the Musical is essentially a reprise of Max's Murder Song/Manifesto which places her as a parallel to Max. Max sings about how he's going to kill ALL the Nerdy Prudes and not once but twice tells the audience that it doesn't matter if someone is actually a Nerdy Prude because he makes the rules and gets to decide who is or isn't a nerd etc etc. Grace's take is that she is going to kill all the Dirty Dudes but she's literally singing it to a guy who has, throughout the entire musical, done nothing to indicate he's a pervy/dirty dude and only kissed her after she asked him too. Like Max, Grace Chastity doesn't actually care if someone genuinely fits the framework of her stated victimology, because she has the power so she gets to make the rules.

Honestly it's like some people didn't think about the implications.

One of the funniest things about “Hatchet Town” is that over the course of three musicals and Nightmare Time, most, if not a significant number Hatchetfield residents HAVE committed murder or been accomplices/accessories to murder in at least one timeline. To the point where if you randomly accused pretty much anyone in town of being a murderer, there’s a good chance you’d be right.

During The Summoning all the Lords in Black look so happy to be there except for Wiggly. And I just love that because in almost every shot he looks SO PISSED OFF. You can almost hear him thinking “oh my me, why the fuck am I here, and with my brothers no less?” and “‘Are you the Lords in Black’, no we’re the fucking milkman, yes we’re the Lords in Black get some common sense! We travelled very far to get here for your teenage bullshit so out with it!” and “‘Can you help us?’ that’s the basic rules of a summoning you stupid bitch of course we’re helping you! Humans these days, I swear to me…” The humans aren’t worshipping him so he isn’t even pretending to be the charming children’s toy type being he was in Black Friday, he’s just going through the motions until he can leave 🤣.
