It was a masterpiece back then, and it remains magnificent after nearly nine decades! I’ll never forget the happiness I felt while going to buy it on VHS in 1994 😭

Richard Dick Grayson was the very first Robin. He was the one who decided that Robin- amongst all things- would become a hero. Fighting for Justice alongside The Dark Knight of Gotham despite the tragedies they both started with. He who allowed Robin to first spread his wings and fly amidst a brooding city perpetually plagued by darkness. D’yknow Dial of Destiny actually slapped. Movie was just as fun and silly as the other Indiana Jones films and I loved all the paralelles to previous movies, and Indy was just as silly goofy as always

📁- I know I've said before that Jaspern's relationship with his parents is not a great one. In fact, Jas' parents actually disowned him when he was in the equivalent of his late teens, after blaming him for the death of his younger brother, Kaen. This was, in part because they disagreed with the life he had chosen to live, and the company that he chose to keep. (namely Lerato, Nel, and Pythius) Either way though, the accusations cut deeply, and after that he's never made any attempt to go back and talk to them again, despite the fact that there have been a handful of times that they've attempted to reconcile things with him. Side note, but he's also never once allowed JJ to meet them, either.
📁- He has an accent! Not that most people can tell, since he's gotten really good at covering it up over the years. The part of Hell he grew up (Savnir, to be precise) in is pretty notorious for having a very relaxed and easy feeling non-rhotic Demonic accent. Of course, when he started hanging around Caentra and Ephlyt more often with Pythius and Nel, and especially when he moved to Tenimus and began his reaper work, he tended to get a lot of shit for it. Mostly people teasing him, or people just not taking him as seriously because of it. He hated that, and so he began learning how to cover it up and speak more "properly" to avoid having that issue continue on for any longer than it had to. Now he only really lets it slip when he's with people that he's really comfortable with, or if he's especially riled.
📁- Though he was born a reaper in this lifetime, when Creation decided to restore Brinnela, and bring back the four original species that died in the war between them, Jas awoke to his memories and such of his past life. Once this happened, Creation pretty much said "Hey, cool, we don't need to figure out what to do about Ahnia anymore!" and forced his old form on him again, so that his people would recognize him, and he could go back to ruling Ahnia (or, more importantly, watching over Innaius-- one of the Pillars of Creation). Jas...didn't really agree with this decision, which is a big part of why he's usually still kicking around in the sort of half-Reaper, half-Ahniri form that he does today. It's also why he takes a pretty relaxed approach to ruling...which, luckily for, ends up working out pretty well for Ahnia as a whole.

Boss Intro: Xixi
forgive me if this seems like I don't know what I'm doing. Its because I indeed do not.
Xiomara "Xixi" Rosario
dob: 01/18/86

Personality: It is very hard to describe Xixi's personality in such a brief way. Growing up, she was labelled as difficult by adults around her due to her violent outbursts but she was also insanely academically intelligent. This created confusion with her and she still does not know how to live with both sides of herself and finds herself thinking that she still has to choose. In adulthood, she seems to be relatively well-adjusted though it is a front for her incredible impulsivity and self-destructive tendencies. Xixi finds herself often not caring about what happens to her until she's hit rock bottom for a situation. In more casual situations though, she can be very charismatic and even border on flirtatious. Xixi doesn't care much about strangers' opinions though she values the approval of those she holds close.
Bio:
Life Before Saints:
Xixi was born and raised in Stilwater - though not raised in a particularly happy home. She grew up with a lot of resentment in her home life, particularly from her mother; a washed-up Cuban actress whose dreams and promise of stardom in the States was crushed by her pregnancy with Xixi. Her mother was never outwardly abusive or neglectful but Xixi could never shake the feeling that her mother did not love her.
Her relationship with her father was a little better but not by much. He spent most of her childhood concerned with his store which he operated with Xixi's godfather and had inherited from his father. Her father was never bad to her, just absent.
Xixi's grandmother is probably the only relationships he had with an adult in which she can say that she was properly parented. She spent a lot of time at her grandma's house - sometimes more than she spent at her own. She also became very close with her cousins, so close that she began imagining that her aunt and uncle were her parents when she'd spend afternoons there.
When Xixi was 10-years-old, her mother gave birth to her sister Vanessa.
At school and in her every day life, she is often regarded as a problem. Her impulsivity and violent outbursts make her a target for teachers despite her intelligence and Xixi doesn't quite know how to deal with it. All she gets is punishment and is never taught how to cope with the way she feels.
Adolescence/Cousin's death:
When Xixi is 13, her cousin Louis is shot by rogue Vice Kings and bleeds out in front of her. On the same day, her eldest cousin Frank (who unbeknownst to her is a Saint) puts her into his truck and forces her to tell him who killed Louis. This severs the close brother-sister relationship she had with Frank for several years.
In high school, Xixi fairs a bit better. Though not fully in control of her impulses she has begun to learn to pick her fights and pick them wisely.
During this time she has two close friends: Charlie Anderson and Helena Davis. She begins a strange homoerotic-leaning friendship with Helena and things do get physical a couple times, though Xixi does not understand it and does not like that she does not understand it. She has not yet come to terms with the fact that she is bisexual - she doesn't even really know that its a thing yet.
Because of her confusion with her feelings and unwillingness to confront them, Helena and Xixi have a massive falling out. This leaves Charlie as her only friend.
Annulment:
The summer after her high school graduation, Charlie and Xixi decide to take a road trip with no destination in mind. This road trip forces them to confront many things about themselves and Charlie decides to confront his romantic feelings towards Xixi. She doesn't really reciprocate the feelings at first but as the trip gets more and more out of control, she begins to believe that she does.
The trip ends with them getting married at a courthouse in the middle of nowhere and Xixi remarking how she wishes they could have made it to Vegas. The marriage between the two doesn't last very long though and well into October, Xixi asks him for an annulment. This puts a rift in their relationship but things aren't soured forever.
A month after the annulment, in November, Xixi drops out of her freshman year at Stilwater University.
Summer '06:
During the summer of 2006, Xixi is at a very unsteady period in her life. She is working part-time at her father's store and selling shoes out of Charlie's trunk with him when she can. She is also living with her grandmother, barely pulling her weight in bills.
It all changes though, on one warm night in June, when she meets Johnny Gat on a rooftop during a block party. A night where her cousin Demetrius is shot by Vice Kings and she is one of the first on the scene.
This is the inciting incident that leads her on the path to joining the Saints.

Background + Lore, and the One who Started it All
I've been putting this off for the surprise-factor, but I feel like it's better to share this now rather than never
How Floserds came into existance
It all started on one special day, nobody knew the exact date specifically, but there was supposed to be an eclipse during the middle of the day. All the humans were excited, with their fascination of the moon going over the sun, but sadly, it began to rain. The clouds covered the eclipse, and they were all sad.
However, somewhere else on the world, in a large sunflower field, the rain was watering all the sunflowers, including a large sunflower, with yellow and a hint of orange and red in its petals. As the rain fell, and the clouds shifted, a rare moment happened: A raindrop was hit with a ray of the eclipse light, making a Solar Drop, which landed on the large sunflower, and absorbed by its leaves.
Eventually, as time passed on days later, the already-large sunflower had begun to grow more, getting larger and larger, until one day... the ground shook. Nobody knew what was happening, but as the ground shook, it began to crack in that field. Something was emerging from the soil. As it struggled to crawl out, eventually it made it out, revealing a large, unknown creature.
It looked like that of a cow, but stood like a human, and had a large sunflower tail. Nobody knew what it was, most people didn't even know it existed yet. The creature stood there, confused, not knowing what or who it was, but knew it was alone. To solve that, it decided itd travel the world, and pollinate other flowers around the world, in hopes of making more like itself
It started off with the sunflowers in its field, and pollinated them using its tail, and shaking pollen off onto them. It waited and watched, before eventually, they each crawled out of the soil too, and more of these flower cows came to be. The large one, excited, got back up, but on all fours instead of its hind legs, and began to wander the world, spreading pollen as it passed through the whole world.
It passed through forests, fields, and plains, though it did try to avoid civilization, as most humans seemed to not like its presence. It passed through water, being large enough to not have to worry about sinking. It went everywhere around the world, even accidentally pollinating underwater plants, as its pollen washed through the waters. It even accidentally pollinated parasitic plants, but it didn't notice.
Once it was done, it went back to the place it was born, exhausted, and found a cave that it rested in ever since. Nobody knows if that giant flower cow is still alive, but the other flower cows always remember the deed of that cow, and how they wouldn't be alive without it, and celebrate it whenever they sense a Solar Eclipse
This cow has been referred to by many names, none of the other flower cows knowing its real name. Some call it Soliflos (sōl - sun & flōs - flower), others call it Eclipse, some just call it the One who Started it All, some call it Flare, some call it the Eclipse-flower or the Solarflower, but the name it goes by itself is...
Helian!!
Helian (short for 'Helianthus annuus') is very tall (another image w/ Chamomile beside them for comparison:)
They don't know too much about how Floserds have grown to be, as they rest in a cave hidden off from most entities (except for the sunflower Floserds, who have kept the secret of the cave's location), but one day they may reawaken, and go to explore the world.
Helian would use they/it pronouns... if it knew what pronouns were. Floserds never really had pronouns originally in their language, but once they also began using human languages, they incorporated it into theirs to portray identity a bit more
Not much is known about Helian, however, since nobody (again, except the sunflower Floserds) have seen them, or even know where they are.
But yeah, thanks to Helian, a lot of Floserds (or at least the land ones) (and also not the parasitic ones) celebrate 2 holidays: fēstus sōlis (the Festival of the Sun), and umbra lūnae (the Shadow of the Moon)
The Festival of the Sun is basically when they celebrate how they came into existance, and it's celebrated during a Solar Eclipse. They collect berries and fruits that they give as gifts for their family and bouquets (the new name for Floserd herds instead of herds), and they share stories with either other bouquets of Floserds, or other species.
The Shadow of the Moon, meanwhile, can sometimes give a different energy than the Festival of the Sun. The Shadow of the Moon is celebrated during a Lunar Eclipse, and the Floserds decorate themself with flowers that strongly represent them (ex. Chamomile would have a flower crown of chamomiles, and chamomile bracelets), as their tails stay open instead of closing at night like usual, and they play games in honor of how far their species has come. They race one another, moo together, and eat feasts of berries and grass and hay and whatever other foods are a part of their diet. The Shadow of the Moon is a festival meant to celebrate how far they've made it, and to honor those they lost.
