i think it's very funny that as far as i can remember, kirito uses exactly one actual "weapon" irl throughout the story (kendo doesn't count)
and it's literally just an umbrella she stabs a guy in the leg with *once* at the start of alicization before almost dying and then having to recover from neurotoxin-induced brain damage for the next few volumes (as one does)

Fine night for a walk... 🌧️🌧️🌧️
In my hc au, Hegemol often took duties as Lurien's personal guard and escort to understand The Watcher better before he was to be his Knight-Commander. This sometimes meant accompanying Lurien to various scholarly events, such as thesis proposals, presentations, demonstrations... Anything Lurien deemed interesting enough to descend from his tower for. Hegemol, being the son of two confectioners from Dirtmouth, never truly received a formal education; but he does enjoy learning to a degree most wouldn't expect of him. On their walks back to the Spire, Lurien ensures he explains through any questions Hegemol has about the topics.

my graphics teacher is like one of those high school teachers whos always like "this is so important youre gonna use this in college!" except hes like. "youre gonna use this when youre working as a graphic designer!" and today he was like "guys youre all gonna need this next semester when you're in the next level graphic design class!' Except this class is a basic level graphic computer applications class that every single visual arts student has to take regardless of specific major so like. personally i know I will most likely never have to open indesign again after this class is over. And also that i do not have to nor will i elect to take any other graphic design classes for the rest of my major. so i dont think thats true.
#it annoys me sooo much idk why. He bugs me in general bc hes super gruff and very high and mighty about his expectations like he will never#ever tell us something or mention it SO briefly and then act like its the end of the world later when we dont know it#i mean i guess this is another example of that like he'll always be like guys this is really bad that you dont know this bc youre gonna get#fired as a graphic designer if you dont.#which is like. okay why would i care it is literally not my goal to be a graphic designer and im not going to school#for it. like do you know what class youre even teaching. im pretty sure MOST of the people in here are not graphic design majors theres lik#4 other majors in the visual arts umbrella at my school that all require this class#like the point of this class is just to learn the basics of how adobe programs work. thats it.#anyway. basically i am ready for this semester to be over.
