I can absolutely understand that you or others aren't sure that they are still together, but when stuff like this happens I do wonder what you think of it?

case by case! some stuff I absolutely think is on purpose, some stuff that people go bananas over I think is literally nothing, something they won't even be aware of or care about, some stuff I think does suggest they are still together, but I also think they both definitely play to the larry side of the fandom sometimes but that that DOESN'T necessarily mean anything other than that they are playing to the fans so that muddies the waters considerably as far as knowing anything about their lives (and good for them! sad for us lol but I'm happy for them). As far as fanning, I am still invested in the whole damn gang of them but with very varying placements along the line from unconditional love to frustrated irritation so I'm interested in everything that's going on and super nosy about all of it but is that being a FAN?? IDK by fandom standards but otoh like... no normal person knows as much about Harry Styles as I do so I guess you could say so lol. And I do like Harry's music! It's not as tailor made to my exact personal tastes as Louis' but I like a lot of it and like seeing him at the forum in 2018 was one of the best shows I've been to in my life, I don't hate it you know! And he can be very funny on the rare occasion we get to see it. And I love a lot of Zayn's music (and have a lot of affection for his weirdo fuckboi self) and to be honest I am EXTREMELY invested in the possibility of getting to see Zayn perform at some point be it livestream or whatever I really think it might happen?!! I will lose it if so. Liam's music, and Niall's these days, isn't really my thing, but I'm always keeping up and I can't give Liam the hugs he so desperately needs so I hope he gets his radio hit! So idk I'm still OT5 oriented in some ways but there is only one man in this world who never disappoints me/ I would give it all up for/ I actually truly think is one of the world's rarest and specialist angels/ I think is a music and business and just general industry genius of his time/ has the prettiest voice I have ever heard/ etc and I think we all know who that is...

I just woke up from a nap but didn't Kanata used to take naps on Kaoru when they were in school in the Marine Bio club and they both individually needed to decompress from life? I'm just imaging a Kaoru who can't sleep or doesn't want to sleep gently playing with Kanata's hair, loosely braiding it or wrapping it around his finger while Kanata is softly snoring and leaning into Kaoru's touch.

Or one of the rare times that Kaoru is the one sleeping, Kanata just being there to watch over him and make sure he isn't disturbed because Kanata can tell Kaoru hasn't been sleeping well and wants to give him the time he needs to rest.

Or both of them napping together, either on top of each other or just in the room, separate but basking in the comfort of a familiar and calming presence as the whirring of the fish tanks lulls them to sleep

The thing that makes trying to write any darker interpretations/AUs/scenarios of qcard so interesting is that Q genuinly cares about Picard. So the cause for the angst is this care being a bit inhuman or Q doing things that he thinks are for the best of Picard and not Q actually doing something deliberatly bad to Picard.

ah, so I don't know if they still allow people to sign-up for or have access to ringleaders these days. ringleaders was something they put out at the beginning of aew's formation for people to apply to receive surveys about aew on occasion. there was a whole application process you had to go through and, if you were approved, you were registered to a separate site where they keep the ringleaders information. every so often (much less now than it was in the beginning) they push out a new survey to the people who registered, but I don't think they accept new applicants last I checked

top 5 fabre cringe moments?

1. Befriending Collot d'Hérbois.

2. Fabre never bothered to learn the correct names of his mistress' children. And, according to him, he had a good relationship with them, to the point the kids really adored him. He usually just called them all Marie (which was only one of the names of each child) and most likely used the other names wrong. Rip.

3. Being thrown out of his lover’s house by her mother. When Fabre fell in love with Catherine Deresmond, who also adored him dearly, her family didn’t want them to meet or to see Fabre in their house. It resulted in our angry and love-drunk telenovela protagonist showing up to the house with saber and a pistol at some point, only to be threatened by Catherine’s mother armed with a stick (or was it a broom?). Fabre’s troupe leader had to rescue him. Who even thought it was a good idea. 

4. Romancing a woman only to steal her furniture after a few days. Cringe 12/10, the gentleman kind has fallen.

5. The shoes. The whole shoe thing. We cannot be sure if Fabre was really guilty of the affair, but if he was, he attempted monopolizing a shitton of cheap, glued and not sewn shoes bought for 4 livres a pair and selling them to the army for double prices only to see most soldiers walking barefoot after just a few hours of using them. And possibly never returning the money he borrowed for the cause. Which was like, 30k livres? Or more. As mutual said, frev Ea Nasir.

it's more or less for the same reason that i would no longer call myself a "whovian" or "fannibal" or any other label of the sort even if i was really into the piece of media that said identity label denoted. under certain contexts gay and queer can mean the same thing but there's also connotations, and the connotations of the latter in 2023 are simply not accurate to me. or rather so inaccurate to me that they're not worth any attachment to antiquated connotations. like yknow typically words do communicate things and i wouldn't want to communicate something that isn't true
