a/n: this was supposed to be for international cat day but even if it’s posted late I still hope you like it! : ‘ >

tomioka giyuu

black, long-haired cat with blue eyes

he’s a super quiet cat

sleeps all day

when you can’t find him he’s probably just in the bathroom with his paw dipped in the bathtub water

flinched often when you tried to touch him when you first got him but now is the one reaching towards you to get your attention

himejima gyoumei

huge mackerel blind cat

has the loudest purr

loves being with you! he doesn’t follow you around every step you take but instead stays at a comfortable distance

highly independent and can even turn on sinks on his own

waits at the door for you to get home

iguro obanai

tuxedo cat with heterochromia

jumps really high and sometimes sleeps on top of cupboards

pretty hostile to visitors

incredibly amazed with sliding doors

will take a lot for him to be happy with you petting him but he likes it when you run the back of your finger on that little spot on his head

uzui tengen

persian cat with blue eyes but they almost look silver

definitely a high maintenance cat

likes wet food way more than dry food

instagram cat and he likes it when you dress him up, sometimes nuzzles your hand when he really likes the outfit

he’s the owner of the house, you just live there actually

rengoku kyojuro

white, long-haired cat with the puffiest mane ever

extremely energetic so good luck sleeping at night

he calls you over to show his empty pet bowl after he finishes his food and he looks so proud of himself

so warm and fluffy and actually loves belly rubs

is the one waking you up in the morning because he wants to go for a walk

shinazugawa sanemi

scarred white cat with green eyes and a twisted tail you found in the streets

feral, has rabies, and almost scratched the hell out of you and the vet when you tried to get him his shots

doesn’t like to be picked up but would sometimes bonk you with his head

watches the doors and flicks his tail when someone approaches the house

isn’t picky with his food and sometimes you can catch him rummaging through your trashcan

tokito muichiro

black, long-haired kitten that looks like he’s got white socks on

sleeps in the weirdest positions and in the weirdest places

loves toys that have bells attached to them

sometimes he comes to your room and then just leaves

stares at the wall or ceiling a lot

kocho shinobu

black, short-haired cat with a shiny coat

she is a little mean but she’s very loving

when she isn’t fed on time she goes :3 and tries to push down a fragile item off the table

even though she does that she jumps to join you in bed, laying beside you until you both fall asleep

looks wonderful next to flowers

kanroji mitsuri

white, long-haired white cat with the most beautiful green eyes

the most loving one of the bunch

greets you when you come home, sits on your lap, naps on you

wants to eat whatever it is you are eating

pretty clumsy and knocks over your things often and runs to you to rub against your legs like nothing happened

My owner ~

Muichiro was a cat abandoned and was harsh towards everyone. Until you took him to a doctor and treated for him and cared for him. He turned out to be able to transform into a human.

It was raining when you were on your way back to your home. The road got wetter and wetter as the streets started to flood. People were groaning as water filled their shoes. Some of them were unlucky and didn't even have umbrellas. You didn't mind though, your shoes were wet and filled with water but you enjoyed the weather. Rainy weathers were always cooling and always calmed you down.

It was then when you walked past a box, you heard a weak meow. You turned back and to your horror, you saw a injured cat. It was bleeding and was meowing weakly. You quickly picked it up as you dashed through the streets. You were looking for a vet until you finally found one.

You were drenched from top to bottom, but the vet still allowed you in to see the treated kitten. The kitten was furious as it scratched you when you tried to touch it. The veteran also had multiple scratches seen on his hands. It was bleeding, the kitten was hissing as it had a gotten up in a defensive stance.

You had no choice but to leave it at the vetinary in the meantime. Tomorrow, you were coming home from work when you suddenly thought about visiting the cat. You decided to stop by a store and bought some canned food from the store. When you went into the room with the cat you found in the street, you saw him there laying down quietly on top of a drawer.

When it saw you, it hissed at you. When you opened the can of food, it stared at you as you put it in front of him. He sniffed the food and licked it before eating it. It was then when you realised that the cat had a collar and name attached to it. You didn't touch the cat to avoid being scratched, but you could read the name from here.

It was " Muichiro ". You called him by that name softly as he turned to you. When you put your hand near his, he surprisingly sniffed you before giving you a small lick. He nuzzled his head on your hand before continuing to eat the canned food.

You could take him home after that. The vet gave you the green light and recommended some cat supplies you can buy for him. You basically spoiled Muichiro all the time. You always bought him toys and beds.

But he preferred to sleep on your chest instead when you are always sleeping. But because you liked to turn and toss in your sleep, you decided to let him sleep on your bed and always put him beside your bed when you are about to sleep.

One night, while you are sleeping, he decided to turn into his human form. His cat ears and tail were still there though. He held you tight as you slept. He slowly dozed off as you were snuggled in his warmth.

The next morning when you woke up, you saw your cat beside you, sleeping peacefully. You were actually confused for awhile as you felt like as if last night you had been hugged by someone. It send shivers down your spine at the thought of someone random cuddling you when you were sleeping. But you decided to ignore that feeling and went to prepare muichiro's food.

You got dressed up and put some milk into his bowl and some cat food beside the bowl. You saw muichiro awake and decided to give him a small smile while petting him.

Thinking about modern AU Kyojuro who never had a pet. He runs into a stray kitten on patrol one night, in an gas station parking lot where he's the only person around, it's a scrawny little orange kitten, who doesn't hesitate to run up to him when he crouches, his hand held out for it to sniff. He doesn't text you or even call, just brings it home while he's still clocked in, shaking you awake with one hand and holding a wiggling mass in the other. Your eyes haven't even opened fully by the time he's talking.

'i found it, i don't think it has a family, I'm going to put him in the bathroom with some towels and then I'll bring stuff home with me when I get off in two hours okay? Love you' theres no room for injection or even words as he gives you a quick kiss and leaves from your sleep blurred vision. You fall back asleep, not even thinking. Only when you wake up and are met with a mess or a paper plate filled with far too much soft food and a kitten that may or may not be in a state of comatose after eating it's first meal in a long time

A story for @blake222111

(Randomly saw their comment on a Kyojuro and Mitsuri post and I decided to fulfill their wish :D)

Here we go!

Kyojuro Rengoku and Mitsuri Kanroji. Being the most energetic of the Hashira, these two were always everywhere and involved in everything. This fine morning, a loud exchange resonated through the Flame Estate, scattering birds from nearby trees.

"Satsumaimo!"

"Sakura mochi!"

"Satsumaimo!"

"Sakura mochi!"

You had heard plenty of this, so you headed over to see what the commotion was. Walking in, you saw a small cat clambering over and around a box on the back patio... with Kyojuro and Mitsuri standing in front of it, arguing. They only said two words.

"Satsumaimo!"

"Sakura mochi!"

"Enough!" You cut in. "What is going on?!"

"Oh, Y/n!" Mitsuri spoke. "We found this cat while taking a walk. Kawaii, right?"

Your eyes traveled over to the tabby. "Okay..."

"And it looked hungry! So I suggested we feed it!"

"But what's the problem?" You questioned.

Mitsuri put her hands on her hips and glared at Kyojuro, who didn't look affected in the slightest, as if they were playing a game.

"Well..." She puffed out her cheeks. "I want to feed it sakura mochi!"

"Satsumaimo is the better choice! More UMAI!" Kyojuro boomed.

"Neither will work." You said, and picked it up. It purred and nuzzled itself into your neck as you continued. You were a little hesitant to step in given that they were both Hashira, but you needed to protect the safety of the feline!

"I presume you wanted to give it raw sweet potato, Rengoku-san? Unfortunately, that's not safe for cats, and so are the leaves. But maybe if it was cooked! And Mitsuri-san, mochi can upset a cat's stomach. So maybe we should just feed it some chicken or fish."

A moment of silence. Then...

"I'm sure the neko would find anything umai anyway!" Kyojuro stated, with a sunny grin on his face. Nobody could stay angry at him, and he couldn't stay angry at others. He was just the best.

Mitsuri looked happy. "We should be thankful we get to save a cute little kitten! He's so kawaii! Kyaa!"

And that's how Taro ended up to be a healthy cat.

Hooray! More info about Cloud Hashira Mari ! + random info about her cause yes.

Mentioned in a previous post, she defeated a lower moon! Specifically, a lower moon 4!

Mari was sent in a mission with a few slayers, their mission was just to slay a few demons that were in a nearby village, although what they didn't expect is a lower moon being there. The slayers she was accompanied by were either too busy handling the other demons or heavily injured so she was left alone to take care of the demon. She was able to defeat the lower moon, by unintentionally making a new breathing form..

A hashira was called after realizing there was a lower moon, though by the time the hashira arrived, Mari already defeated the demon...

Mari decides to change her uh... ribbon shoes thing? to blue to match with her haori hue color

Her haori is soft to the touch, and can be a good pillow if you fold it

After defeating the lower moon, she went to another coma, this time for a week..

I cant draw FEET.

Her back thingy thing thing thing...

Mari still lives with her sister. Though they live in the cloud estate this time. Her sister does go back and forth in living in her late-mentor's estate and Mari's.

Her estate has a nearby field of flowers. She often goes there when she's free.

Mari often forgets she's a hashira now, so she gets confused when other slayers and kakushis become intimidated or handle her with respect.

Her hobby is stargazing. She usually does it with her sister, her cousins or Muichiro!

She still has the habit of getting distracted, resulting in her getting lost. Her crow is there to keep her in track!

What does Mari think of the other hashiras?

Giyu: "I'm a little scared of him... but he isn't even doing much..." (Neutral/Leaning to dislike)

Shinobu: "She's so pretty! I love her gentle voice. I'm fascinated with her way to kill demons." (Like)

Kyojuro: "He's very loud. I try to match his energy! He's like an older brother to me." (Like)

Obanai: "Never talked to him much..." (Neutral)

Mitsuri: "She's so awesome! I love her vibrant hair! Often, I would eat with her! Kanroji-san is such a sweetheart!" (Like/Admire)

Sanemi: "I'm scared of him. He has this scary looking face, and if looks could kill me, I would die by him..." (Fear/Dislike)

Tengen: "Shiny accessories, I might get blinded by those... He is super cool! And his wives are sweet!" (Like)

Gyomei: "I was intimidated by him at first, but after a bit, I got along with him! He and I love cats!" (Like)

Muichiro: "We're pretty close, somewhat. He does talk to me quite more than the other hashiras. He's quite an airhead... I do hope that maybe, he'll remember me..." (Like? Maybe even more???)

Mari isn't actually the first person to know cloud breathing, although she taught herself to do that breathing...

One of the forms are made by her, however it's a pretty difficult form...

Cloud breathing is more effective with her due to her height (aHA- SHORTASS)

It's heard that she learned this breathing through a dream... or an inherited memory perhaps??

Some slayers reported that everytime she slices a demon's head, it leaves a vanilla scent... Wow I wonder why.

She sprayed vanilla perfume cause the demon she fought before had a very horrible smell and she just..does it on a daily basis now. It's worrying.

Taisho era secret:

Mari is sometimes seen petty and immature when fighting demons, especially if they are giving her a difficult time. She sticks out her tongue when she successfully beheads the demon...
