Today we are asking 4 seperate energies what they think of you! It's important to know that any pick a card's are general energies and some messages are resonant to your crush and others might just be for other people. Generally this is my first pick a card on Tumblr but I've been in the tarot community for longer than today, since 2017 I read tarot.

Disclaimer: I haven't used any tarot cards for this reading, ironically. I'm channelling the messages instead.

First of all this is a person that thinks softly of you. They have kind eyes, might be more of an effeminate person. May have a beard, or look like a gentle giant. I'm also getting blonde/brown hair or shoulder length blonde hair. They have dazzling eyes.

Yeah, that's what it is. I sometimes feel like I have no appetite. I don't want to eat when I think of you. I can't get my head straight some days. And then I just focus only on stories. Books. My interests. I would like to get to know your interests too. Sometimes I worry that I am not good enough for you. Or that you would not want me. It keeps me silent. Truly.

It's stupid, I know. I might not come from a good background. My family life was not something that brought me joy and that kept me in my books and my internal world. Or it was my school but I hope that you might want to be my family.

Chinese LOTM Fic Recs

I was asked about this, so here we go! (rubs hands together =D)

A few things to know:

I'll only separate by site (either AO3 or Lofter) and whether it's gen or has a ship. None of these recs have smut as far as I remember, as I rarely if ever read it.

I am not Chinese and know nothing about the Chinese language. I've read these fics through the browser translator. Likely there are errors in the translated English titles provided, please feel free to correct them.

For Lofter fics, I'm using the blog url (x in "x.lofter.com") as the writer's name, though idk if that's how it should be done.

Waa congrats on 3k daze! i've been here since 1400 (or maybe even before that. I can't quite recall) and it's really heartwarming to see my favourite writer grow so much ♡ For the event, can i please ask for the tower, the hierophant & temperance from the tarot prompts for mika? :)

Whoa, it seems like you´ve been around for quite a long time then! A lot of time has passed since the 1.4k followers event so it´s kind of impressive to hear that someone has been reading my stuff for that long, thank you for sticking around!☺️ And your favorite writer? The Tower - If this yandere saw their darling in danger, how would they respond/react?

Okay so if you somehow got put into a dangerous situation, there´s no way Mika is going to be unaware of it because he´s always by your side, whether that´s him just tagging along no matter where you go and being generally clingy, or him stalking you from a safe distance away to “make sure you´re safe”.

And well, either way, he´s very glad that he made that decision to stay close to you ( and totally not for his own interests) because his beloved darling actually is in danger now, right in front of him!

Of course, Mika´s first reaction is one of shock and panic but that quickly turns into a blind rage after he has fully assessed the situation.

You´re right in front of him, calling out for help while someone else is endangering you.

And Mika just can´t have that. No one is allowed to touch his darling and he sees it as his duty to save and protect you.

So how does he deal with this tense and difficult situation? Violence.

Charges in screaming, probably yelling death threats and demanding for you be let go while he jumps at the attacker´s throat, fully intent on just killing them if you weren´t there to ground him a bit.

He doesn´t want you to see him as a violent person because that wouldn´t make for a good romantic partner so Mika hesitantly refrains from actually killing this person right in front of you and instead just beats them into a bloody pulp until he´s sure that they´re never ever going to try and put you in danger again.

Immediately afterward makes sure that you´re safe and checks up on any wounds you may have suffered while offering you words of comfort ( and candy from one of his pockets). Don´t worry, he´s going to take great care of you while you recover from that horrifying situation, he´s going to serve you in any way he can!

Of course only after searching out your attacker once more on his own and actually finishing the job now. They didn´t think they could get away with putting his darling in danger, did they?

The Hierophant - Could this yandere´s darling fool them easily? Or be manipulated by them?

Oh, it´s almost too easy in fact! Mika is an obsessed and worshipping yandere that puts his darling onto the highest of pedestals, you´re basically a deity to him.

He´s absolutely hellbent on pleasing you in any way he can, so it´s very easy to get him to do things for you. Mika will bend over backward just to hear your praise.

On that note, yes, praising him will get you pretty far and it will keep him satisfied for quite some time before he starts demanding more attention and affection from you.

He sees himself absolutely beneath you and so anything you say goes. In his eyes, it´s all to show you what a good boyfriend he could be for you by doing things for you all the time.

There´s also the fact that Mika is a very delusional yandere so as long as what you say or do fits with his ideal fantasy of you being a loving couple destined to be with each other for all eternity, he´ll believe it.

He´ll believe almost anything you say with a smile on his face because you could never be wrong.

He also just sometimes.... outright ignores things that would go against the delusions he had built himself about your relationship. All the times you accidentally let a hateful comment toward him slip? Oh, he simply didn´t hear you correctly!

The only thing that might be your downfall is Mika´s rampant jealousy though. If he has even a hint of suspicion that you might like someone else more ( even if it´s completely unfounded), he´s going to be quite a bit warier when you try to manipulate him.

The same counts for when you´ve done it too many times or have, in his eyes, “betrayed his trust”. Like trying to escape from him by making him take off your shackles.

Temperance - What made this person yandere for their darling?

Most of all, I feel the cause of Mika turning into a yandere is a combination of his childhood and his linked self-esteem issues.

As we know, Mika was given up by his birth parents into an orphanage and he had wondered for many years if they simply found him hideous. Always wondering about why they didn´t want him.

Mika is also very touch-starved and has said that he just craves love, it doesn´t matter how much it hurts him, how painful it is.

So when he meets you, someone that is so kind to him and willing to give him the attention and love he never really got? Well, he´s smitten and quickly starts to idolize you.

Mika is experiencing a feeling he has never felt for anyone else before and he soon grows obsessed with it, wanting to keep feeling all warm and fuzzy when you look his way or give him a compliment. Wanting to finally feel alive.

And while their relationship has grown and gotten a lot healthier in recent times, Shu´s past treatment of Mika also probably had an impact on him turning out this way.

He tries to accept that he´s no longer a doll, he´s a human with his own thoughts and feelings.

And yet. And yet he still wants to be controlled by you, he wants to have a purpose by serving you and making sure that you´ll always be happy ( with him at your side of course!)

Watching you every single day and taking photos of you when you aren´t looking just makes him even more enamored with you.

Mika is convinced you´re the most wonderful and divine person that has ever walked this earth, your beauty and benevolence second to none.

And he almost thinks he doesn´t deserve you.

But maybe just this once, he wants to be selfish too

JKEU MAJOR ARCANA ASSIGNMENTS

Josh

Major Arcana: Fool

Beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, a free spirit

Josh was the simplest tarot pick for me, because from his canon arc in Joust Because and then further in the JKEU, he’s always been about new beginnings and new possibilities. In Joust Because Josh is shown as someone who’s holding back his “secret” self, the side of him that for example “steals falcons”. The reversed Fool card is about holding back, and that’s a representation of the Josh we see before Joust Because but as we expand into the JKEU, we see it again, when Josh transitioned into the board game cafe/manager, he’s entering a new realm of possibilities and allowing his natural utter adaptableness to really shine. Josh is the Fool because he’s able to be whatever he needs to be for his friends. Josh is a jack of all trades, and also able to see the new chances in life.

Josh’s negative traits all come with the Reversed Fool, he holds back his negative feelings, he feels inadequate, and then he doesn’t talk about. Looking at your heart is my heart, and i’m learning to share Josh admits that he doesn’t talk about his feelings if he thinks they’ll upset others. They will always be held back.

Josh is endlessly creative and extremely chaotic, he sees the best in everyone, and everything which is why he’s the perfect Fool card.

Rachel

Major Arcana: Death

Endings, change, transformation, transition

Oh Rachel, oh death, oh my precious girl. Rachel (Pane Of) Glass, I think about you all the time. It feels very fitting that you are represented by my favourite tarot card. Rachel in Elevator Pitch is characterized by someone who’s undergone a Huge Change in her life, she’s moving from solitary to being part of a team, to being an underling to being in charge. The events of Elevator Pitch are her metaphorical death.

Moving into JKEU, Rachel’s entire life changed after an injury, another “death” for her, but this one pushed her into Reversed death, where she experienced stagnation, she retreated into herself, and she stagnated and lonely for almost a decade. She had to purge a lot of who she considered herself and do some internal transformation.

The Death Card is about changing and finding something different and it’s so beautiful, and misunderstood, just like Rachel.

Katrina

Major Arcana: Reversed Moon

Joy, enlightenment, resolution, deception revealed, relief

Going to be honest, Katrina was weirdly hard for me. I can think of metaphors for Katrina, notably Katrina as the ocean, and Katrina as a preserved rose but I remembered that I can reverse cards forward. So I believe that Katrina would be the Reversed Moon.

Katrina in Joust Because, is more of a supporting role for her? She’s a main character, but she is more of a representation a new different path for her new friend. Finding a new friend who just understood her, now that was the relief there. (Also like the deception revealed of a secret side)

Moving into the greater JKEU, Katrina who I love to death, will lie to herself, she’ll believe that her real self isn’t good enough, especially for Janice Wood. So instead she’ll find herself resorting to trickery and illusion, to maintain that she’s something she believes is more palatable, which is perfect for the Upright Moon,

Katrina experiences the most joy, when she gets to be herself and shed the illusion of the Upright Moon, she finds the joy in shedding all her inhibitions and being the truest version of herself.

Janice Wood

Major Arcana: Magician

Originality, self confidence, skill, a breakthrough, resourcefulness

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Janice was the Magician like it makes perfect sense, but the Magician is also one removed from the Fool in the order of the Major Arcana, and it made me think about the Josh and Janice parallels that I am obsessed with.

Back in Trade School Musical 2, we encounter a Janice who’s trying to be Jane Nobody, who doesn’t want to stand out, where she’s demonstrating the traits of the Reversed Magician, of insecurity and untapped talent. She doesn’t want to be herself. However, as she learns that people will still accept her, she regains her confidence and embraces the Upright Magician.

Moving into JKEU, where I will be borrowing heavily from Janice, she struggles when she loses her desire to create, to be a craftsperson, she gets so unsure of herself, and her place in life.

She loses her sense of self-confidence. Janice will also delay difficult conversations, and deny things to herself, so she doesn’t have to confront hard realities.

Janice Wood is a creative, sturdy, generous person, and she continues to create and be passionate about many many things, which makes her the Magician.

Beginner Tarot Advice

Before Getting your deck

Let's dispel some rumours, your deck does not need to be gifted. In fact, choosing your own deck can be really great for getting into your practice.

Get a deck that is true to the rider waite art style

Getting to know the cards by their imagery and developing your intuitive ideas and beliefs about them is important and the rider waite tarot is the most 'true' to the meaning of the cards.

I would recommend the Pulp Girls tarot deck because it is cute and fun while staying true to the rider waite imagery.

2. Try to go to a store

If you can, browse several decks in-store and see what calls to you. If you truly can't, then online stores like tarot stack are great, as they show you all of the cards in the deck.

3. Don't be afraid !!

I grew up Christian so when my fascination with spirituality and tarot started, I was really scared of it being demonic. But I've been on such an amazing journey of spirituality and I've come to see my cards as simply a tool of communication with spirit.

After Getting your deck

Cleanse your deck

some things you can use include crystals, incense, salt or moon water. Bonus if you can charge it under the full moon

2. Shuffle the deck and give it a few knocks to knock out any past or stagnant energies

3. Greet the deck with a simple one-card spread asking something simple such as the present energy.

4. Get familiar with the Major Arcana & the fool's journey

This is one of my favourite videos explaining the fool's journey. I think having this as a basis for your understanding is helpful for your later interpretations. You do not need to memorise anything, just knowing this is enough.

5. Understand the suits + numbers of the Minor Arcana

You can find lots of interpretations of this, most generally:

Pentacles (Earth): Pentacles are associated with material and financial aspects of life. They represent practicality, stability, and the tangible world, including wealth and resources.

Swords (Air): Swords symbolise thoughts, intellect, and communication. They represent mental clarity, decision-making, and the power of words, but can also signify challenges and conflicts.

Cups (Water): Cups signify emotions, relationships, and intuition. They reflect matters of the heart, love, empathy, and emotional growth.

Wands (Fire): Wands represent inspiration, passion, and action. They symbolize creativity, ambition, and the pursuit of goals

The numerology:

6. Use simple spreads with guiding questions

Beginners should always use a spread. Whether it is a Celtic cross or a simple 3 card spread. It gives structure and clarity to a reading. I also always frame the reading around a question. This allows a sense of focus and direction in the reading.

7. Use the guidebook

The guidebook will give you a general interpretation that falls in line with the intentions of those who created the deck. Websites like Labyrinthos are great for looking at the meaning of cards in specific areas like career or love.

I do admire tarot and the game The Arcana. One of my favourite decks in terms of art is The Marigold Tarot by Amrit Brar, which I used for the image. The red edit is from here and the asks are based off of this post and this post.

Tarot and Oracle Cards: How are they different?

The way that I see tarot and oracle as being different is that Tarot is grounded and about your journey in life, and Oracle cards are your spiritual journey. ✨

This isn’t to say you can’t use oracle cards for your physical life! Oracle cards can offer guidance that complements a tarot reading! 🌸

Here’s some differences between the two:

Tarot:

Tarot cards are depicted as The Fools journey through life and the lessons that are learnt along the way! 🦋

Each card will have its own keywords and themes, not matter the art style or the symbolism the artist has chosen to include into the card. 🌱

Most tarot decks will have a total of 72 cards, 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana. Sometimes an artist will include a 79th card that they find ties in their deck.

I use Cosmic Visions tarot deck which you can find on Etsy! I find that the art and symbolism works for me and understanding tarot finally clicked for me with this deck! 💫

This deck includes a 79th card that’s The Divine, and it’s one of my favourites! 🥰

My partner likes to use the Rider Waite deck as he can see all of the symbolism in the cards! I personally don’t click with this style. 😂

Oracle Cards

Oracle cards are much different to tarot!

Every oracle deck is unique and has a range of card numbers! I love to collect oracle decks as they are so wildly different to each other and I use them for different reasons! 🌱

Each deck will have its own art style, the cards have their own meaning that the person created them intended, and there’s so many different themes! 🌙 You can find moon related cards, animal cards, angel decks, faeries and even mermaid decks! 🦋

There is no right or wrong meanings to the cards! The authors have created these decks with a guidebook but it’s also up to the readers interpretation. 🔮

I've been making my boyfriend a custom jacket for Christmas and it's finally Finished!

I'm so hyped to finally be able to share this. He doesn't use Tumblr anymore so there's no risk of him seeing it but I've been working on this present for MONTHS! It cost me about £180 for all the materials for this jacket and I will never ever tell him - I don't want him to feel like he owes me anything or that this was about money at all. Luckily I have enough of some of the materials, like fabric ink and photopolymer, to use on dozens of other projects so it's not a huge loss of money.

The jacket itself cost me £10 second hand and I didn't anticipate spending so much on it but the more I fell in love with him the more I decided he deserved something he would love and treasure and hopefully that would remind him of how much I love him when he wears it.

So here it goes;

#1 - The Jacket

Got this faux fur removable collar, 100% denim jacket for about £10 second hand on eBay! Absolute bargain. I bought it before we got serious, probably in July or August, and was only gonna distress the denim a little originally. Maybe buy a few cheap band patches if I could find them. But as time went on and I fell in love with him, I decided it should be a lot more meaningful than that.

#2 - The Patches

It took me M O N T H S to accumulate the patches I wanted. I made a detailed list of all of his favourite bands and got to work. I was only able to secure 4 patches from the bands he loved - one of them being catfish and the bottlemen. This gave me a little trouble since Catfish haven't been active since the middle of last year and the patches on their merch shop hadn't restocked, but I was deadset on getting that patch. I found it on a redbubble clone and ordered it from overseas - the biggest issue was it came printed rather than embroidered, which is what I wanted for an authentic look, but it's on the smaller side so I figured it didn't matter too much and went ahead.

There was something missing though. A back patch, yeah, of course! I wanted to find the perfect back patch, something that would scream "HIM" as loud as possible. I'd already been playing with the idea of what I wanted but I went ahead and looked for a back patch of The Fool Tarot Card. Unfortunately, like catfish, all the patches I found of it were printed. For such a big patch it was important to me that it was as authentic as possible, so I reached out to someone and had my dream patch custom embroidered just for this project! It was the most expensive piece and without it the jacket would have been less than £100 worth of materials but alas, when it came I was starstruck. The level of detail he'd been able to attain was not unnoticed and I was proud to be able to put this on a present for someone I love.

Then there was the layout. I messed around with it a couple of times until I got it right but I was beyond happy with the composition and my absolutely flawless, somehow for once, sewing skills.

But there was something missing.. his favourite band of all time, I couldn't find any actually up-to-date or stylish patches for it but it was a must. I wanted to show him I truly pay attention, and there was one perfect solution for including it...

#3 - Screen Printing

That's right. I taught myself to SCREEN PRINT FROM SCRATCH FOR THIS! I learned how to make a frame, what materials to use, bought a good photopolymer and fabric ink (of which I have TONS left over) and took my sweet time making it. For transferring the design onto the screen I troubleshot a few different ideas; I couldn't find any plastic to print the design on, so I decided to just use the glass that came with the photo frame I used! We're resourceful in this house. Next getting the design onto the glass, I tried tracing with Sharpie and paint but I'm so impatient it just wasn't working for me. So I got the brilliant idea to painstakingly cut out the intricate design and PVA glue it onto the glass, since it dries clear it wouldn't affect the photopolymer! And it worked!

Oh what band was this for you ask? What band was so important to him that I spent hours stretching chiffon, cutting a design, curing polymer and scrubbing out the screen for?

My Chemical Romance, baby

After the screen finally dried from rinsing I did some test prints on an old pair of jeans, and it went so well I was ready to try it on the jacket!

Didn't go so well. There was a button I hadn't accounted for that made it impossible to print it on the pocket where I wanted it, so I tried just lower and it was a complete bust. I spent 15 minutes cleaning the ink out before retrying on the sleeve. The sleeve went a lot better, not exactly what I wanted but it's clear, visible and opaque.

Perfect. Now we just needed some final touches and it would be ready just in time for Christmas.

#4 - Final Touches

We're talkin' lil bits and bobs here. Nothing too extravagant but small embellishments that really make the piece what it is.

I'll start with pins. I only have 2 so far, maybe planning on getting him more for his birthday next year to add to the jacket, but these have just as much sentimental value as the rest.

Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, the pin was on sale and it's another one of his favourite bands! It was a must. The goose, goofy and silly but perfect as we'd played Untitled Goose Game together earlier this year as a sort-of date.

Adding a personal touch; the jacket was originally an ASOS piece, but I didn't like how the label looked in the back so I removed it, only to feel like it was too bare after. So I painted him a custom brand label using that fabric ink from earlier and scrap black cotton from my fabrics; sewed it in place and it was finally coming together.

Fixing up any damage; I found on the removable collar, while I was sewing the patches, that one of the elastic loops that held it in place had almost snapped and was hanging on by a thread, so I repaired that! I know it might never be noticed, but that's the funny thing about love isn't it? We do things that our loved ones might never notice just to make their lives a little better, a little easier.

I'm considering roughing up the edges of the seams with a scalpel, just to give it a more worn look. But knowing my Kyle, it'll have that look no problem by the middle of summer.

Conclusions

This was absolutely a journey. There was a lot of stress, but equally there was a lot of time, effort and love poured into this project. I can't imagine him not loving it based on that alone, not even considering the inclusion of his favourite things. If this gets a good reception I'll post a reaction when I give it to him on Tuesday.

I love this man so much, and I think I already know I've created something he will adore and cherish for years to come. And in years to come, assuming I'm still around, I'll be there to patch it, paint it and fix it however he wants, however our lives evolve together as inspiration. I'm as proud to have put work into this as I am to have put work into our relationship. All the tenderness, and care, and patience will be worth it.

page of swords represents an intelligent young person and can sometimes indicate a disagreement or clash with authority. i'm not seeing that in a literal sense, but it repeats the same idea of self-advocacy that i've been seeing a lot here.

as an action card, it indicates you can take control of your situation by using the advantage of your intellect. following the seven of swords, it also shows you need to demand the respect you deserve from those around you who may not be giving it to you. also, some independence may do you well where others have failed you.

the final, seventh card in this horseshoe spread represents the ideal outcome in this situation. we arrived on the hanged man.

i'm not gonna lie, this is a weird one to end on, as it's very open ended. the hanged man is very much a symbol for patience, waiting, and wisdom. or more negatively, indecisiveness, self-sacrifice, and internal conflict.

but i'd like to see it in a positive light and believe it implies that you have endless choices in this world and any number of paths can take you far.

you're young and smart. you don't need to make any final decisions yet. try new things! maybe a compromise is in order, but be discerning and use your head in the pursuit of truth and success.

to summarize, i'm seeing strong themes of self-advocacy and intelligence. the only thing holding you back is that discouraging little voice in the back your head, but don't listen to it!

The Fool - How deluded is this yandere when it comes to their darling? Are they self aware on any level?

Mika is a pretty delusional yandere in the sense that he likes to twist anything you say or do in a way that fits his version of how he sees the world.

Your response to one of his text messages sounded a bit bored? Oh no! He´s just so stupid that he managed to accidentally make you upset! You must surely hate him now! He always knew that he wasn´t worthy of your love and now he just messed everything up! The thought that maybe you were just in a bit of a hurry as you were typing doesn´t even cross his mind when he´s agonizing over every little thing you do.

On the flipsite, if you say anything even remotely positive or smile in his direction, Mika will feel like he´s on cloud nine. Is this a sign that you´re finally starting to return his feelings? Can he really have hope after all? Ahh he doesn´t want to assume anything when you´re so high above him but he really can´t help but fantasize.

When it comes to his obsession itself and his creepy behaviour? He thinks his strong feelings for you are completely normal because he never had a crush on anyone else before so he has nothing to compare them to. The Hanged Man - Is controlling their darling important? Or do they want their darling to love them willingly?

Oh Mika wouldn´t dare to even dream about ever controlling his darling! If anything they should be the ones controlling him! He´s nothing more than a useless doll without them and so he feels like he needs his darling´s guiding hand at all times or else he is without purpose.

Mika is a worshipper and as such he feels blessed to even receive any attention from his object of obsession. He thinks he´s not worthy of his darling´s love so trying to force them to love him is unthinkable. How could he ever live with himself if they were unhappy because of his own selfish actions?

Mika definitely wants his darling to love him by their own free will and it´s very likely that he wouldn´t even try to make a direct move on them on his own because he never wants to make them feel uncomfortable! ( He says and yet he can´t stop stalking them even though it obviously makes them nervous)

How funny our little Alexander wrote a song about how it hurts to get cheating on/ knowing your partner is having an affair. When he was the one who cheated HAH! What a fucking hypocrite. 💀

Before y’all start let me tell you what I think hehe..”For a master of deception and subterfuge. You've made yourself quite the bed, to lie in” Alexander knows the person he’s with is doing something behind his back and concealing it from him. “My teeth are beating and my knees are weak It's as if there's something up with the wiring” Alexander learns about what’s happening. Most likely an affair, he’s deeply hurt and can’t function proper.

“There’s still a trace of body paint On your legs and on your arms and on your face” Alexander can see how the other person has touched and traced his partner and the trial they leave behind. Through out the song we learn that Alex deep down knows what has been going on, but keeps on being in the relationship and writes about his sad feelings.

From the video I noticed the tarot card “ the fool “ for once. (The Fool represents new beginnings, having faith in the future, being inexperienced, not knowing what to expect, having beginner's luck, improvisation and believing in the universe.) and the very bright lightning to make Alex appear peaceful, amiable and even angelic, saintly or my guess Innocent.. 😁🙏🏾

I'm sorry, babe, but we have to agree to disagree on this one. I did not get that impression.

I think he's singing about/to himself especially the first verse says it all (with a side dig to Louise). He's the master of deception, we've talked about this for two plus years now. He realised with the cheating and subsequent loveless relationship what kind of bed he made himself. I've understood the line "do your time travelling through the tanning booth so you don't let the sun catch you crying" that he's literally doing time in this relationship (as in doing time in prison) by holidaying in/travelling to sunny places the whole time to distract himself from the fact he wants to cry about the whole situation. I mean if it's one thing we know Louise likes to do it's holidaying and getting deep fried. So he's not directly calling her out but the shallowness of the relationship. He paid for all her holidays and she gladly took them apparently not realising how he really felt (like she would ever have figured it out).

That's why he sings "so predictable, I know what you're thinking" because that's his MO. He does that with all the girlfriends, distracting them with shit he buys for them (e.g. Celine bags) so they don't realise how he really feels. And it seems he's aware of doing it, wants to change it but can't ("I'm watching your every move, I feel the tears coming on").

I think the rest is him singing about his stage/public personas when he does cover shoots (with all the figurative body paint they put on him there) and how he isn't able to shake them completely when he comes home and makes an excuse of it by saying he does that for his writing process.

The Fool card in the video is most likely just him calling himself a fool because I'm not sure he's aware of the meaning of it. And even if he is aware he's basically setting his "bright new future" on fire there.

I'm glad Alex once again (after Bourne Identity, The Ultracheese and Anyways) figured himself out. Now he has to act on it. Does he want to stay like this or change?

Also, I have to say this era is quickly becoming my second favourite after EYCTE. Alex is serving looks like there's no tomorrow and I'm loving it.
