The Dagger Society Headcanons

Note: Greetings! This is Dahlia, and welcome to my first post! These are my headcanons of the almighty Dagger Society from The Young Elites! Although it is not much, I do hope it is enough to entertain. Thank you for reading!

Enzo Valenciano

Enzo looks adorable in bed hair. But ever since the Daggers teased him about it, he never showed it again.

He and Dante sees each other as brothers.

He is allured to be 5'10" or 178cm in height.

He is a lowkey bisexual. He does not want to disappoint Kenettra by his sexuality, so he hides in a closet.

Because of how Enzo treats the Daggers, they began to call him "Father", jokingly, of course.

Enzo is actually very fond of cats, but he never admits it whenever someone points it out.

He usually overworks in order to create new plans and future discussions with the Daggers. Sometimes, he falls asleep on his desk or avoid sleep for the whole night.

The prince does not know how to cook. At all.

Speaking of which, he also burned the kitchen down in the Fortunata Court when he once attempted to cook roasted meat for himself. He did this by straight up burning the meat.

Enzo sees Gemma as a baby who needs to be protected at all times. He also tucked her in bed in her bedchamber when she fell asleep on the couch.

Even if Enzo hates both Teren and Queen Guilietta, he does miss them as well. He sometimes look back into the memories of them before the Blood Fever.

His body shape is slightly muscular, according to Raffaele.

Enzo surprisingly has some strength in him. Although struggling, he managed to carry an injured Dante on his back towards his bedchamber.

He is very bad at flirting, which leads to awkward moments with ladies.

The prince likes to say horrible puns. All of the Daggers aside from Gemma are annoyed by his attempts. Star Thief genuinely laughs at the puns.

Raffaele Laurent Bessette

He has a habit of hair combing.

His height is depicted to be 6' or 183cm.

Already by his job as a consort, it is obvious that he is openly bisexual. It is canonically mentioned in the book that his clients are both male and female.

He loves to sing in the bathhouse whenever he bathes.

Raffaele genuinely loves Enzo as a brother and a love interest.

Whenever he sees faint bruises (given by his clients) on his skin, he feels insecure.

Raffaele has a talent of drawing, as he is seen to be very good with sketches. This often make Michel envious.

Among all the Daggers, he is the only one who can cook like a professional. He can bake bread as well.

Raffaele once taught Enzo how to cook a simple stew. When the Reaper burned down the kitchen, he scolded him heavily with Enzo in front of him, on his knees. Lucent had to handle the fire.

He often has a competition with Lucent of hair styling: he is good, but the Beldish woman is better.

He keeps many skincare products in his drawers aside from documents and files and journals.

Raffaele dislikes rats. He dislikes them so much that he screamed at the sight of one inside the Fortunata Court. It was brought in by Gemma, of course.

This boy have smooth, long, and elegant fingers. It wears many rings, too.

He still loves and misses his family. Sometimes, Raffaele wonders what his mother and five brothers are doing now.

Raffaele has olive skin despite being a northern Kenettran, as northern Kenettrans have a warm brown complexion.

Gemma Salvatore

Her height is thought to be 5'3" or 160cm. She is the shortest person in the Dagger Society.

Gemma is hinted to be pansexual, but she does not say anything about it much.

Although she loves animals, she much prefers dogs over cats. She dislikes spiders as well.

She is good at singing, especially songs with high notes.

Gemma loves to bring cats into the Fortunata Court in order to drag out the true colors of Enzo towards the felines.

She loves her father dearly. She also has a younger brother (unmarked child).

Gemma inherited her olive skin from her father, who is a southern Kenettran that moved to Estenzia. Her late mother lived in Anjon, a real Northern Kenettran.

She views Enzo as an older brother/father figure.

Lucent is her most closest friend, possibly considering her as a best friend.

Gemma is allergic to pollen. When she went to a garden of flowers and smelled its scent, she got a horrible allergy reaction.

Gemma hates animal abuse. It is enough to make her cry.

Her secret crush/love interest is Michel. But since she fears rejection, she just treats him like a friend. Only Lucent knows about this information.

She can do an intimidating stare/glare at people. Hers is so terrifying that people tremble or cower on her feet.

Her favorite food are tarts (if it does exist in the 13th century).

Her cooking is just as bad as Enzo's. Fortunately, she did not burn any kitchens.

Her favorite hobby is dancing alone to the tune of the lute.

She genuinely laughs at Enzo's horrible puns. In fact, she actually thinks they are funny.

Lucent

Back in Beldain, she has two younger sisters and a youngest brother. Overall, she is the eldest.

One of her siblings is a malfetto.

Her father died in the Blood Fever, leaving her mother to take care of the children.

Her height is thought to be 6' or 183cm, same as Raffaele's.

Because of her relationship with Maeve, it is known for everyone that she is lesbian.

She has a birthmark on her left arm, whereas her right arm is the marking.

She has a dream of being a dancer, though her dancing skills are rather poor, according to Enzo.

Lucent is very smart with mathematics, many are impressed.

Even if the death of Tristan Corrigan was an accident, Lucent blames herself deeply.

Lucent made a flower crown for Maeve twice.

She is a woman with a big bust among the Daggers. Sometimes, Gemma would ask her how they developed that way.

Her skills in hair styling is better than Raffaele. Even if she is better, Lucent does not mind a competition with the Messenger.

Lucent once used her powers to make everyone fly for fun and entertainment.

Her Beldish accent sounds Norwegian or Swedish if compared in the modern world.

Her pale skin is slightly tan. This is the result of her stay in Kenettra after Maeve's mother exiled her from Beldain.

Dante

His height is seen to be 6'3" or 191cm. He is the tallest among the Daggers.

Dante is a straight ally. Although he prefers a heterosexual relationship, he does respect those who are in the LGBTQ+ Community.

He cares for Enzo deeply, as he sees the prince as a brother. This is why he tried to convince him to get rid of Adelina.

Dante misses his parents. He is also an only-child.

Dante fell in love with Daphne. But he lets her go when he discovered that she fell in love Enzo.

Because of his muscular form, he can carry all of the Daggers at once.

He has a talent of walking with his hands and juggling.

Dante is a northern Kenettran. This means he has darker skin like Enzo's.

He hated Adelina because he realized she looks like Daphne. He knows Enzo liked her because of his former love.

Michel is his best friend, as he secretly ships The Architect with Gemma.

He is a very good listener. Whenever someone needs him, Dante is all ears as he listens to their problems and helps them fix it.

If he is muscular, then he is also heavy. This is mentioned because Dante broke a chair thrice when he just wanted to sit.

He still has the talent of blacksmithing from his apprentice training.

Dante has a huge scar on his leg. He got this when he was wounded in a battle before Daphne nursed him to health.

Among all the Daggers, Dante is the most irritated by Enzo's puns. Michel had to calm him from attacking.

Michel

Michel has an older sister and a younger brother in his family.

His height is seen to be 5'6" or 168cm.

He shyly admits that he is omnisexual to the Daggers.

He does not have a surname because he was disowned after he became marked from the Blood Fever.

He always had the talent of art when he was a child.

His feelings for Gemma developed when he saw how enthusiastic and sweet she is towards everyone. It adds when Michel sees her determination.

He and Dante are best friends in the team.

Michel has a grudge against Enzo because the prince declined the offer to be the model for his painting.

He is next to Raffaele who can cook like a professional. However, he cannot bake bread nor delicacies.

He has two books to draw on: one for his sketches and arts, the other one for NSFW content and practices.

Speaking of arts, he keeps denying the fact that he once drew Gemma on one of his parchments that was supposed to be used for studying.

When Michel found out his love interest loves tarts, he tried making one but fails miserably.

Michel has a small talent in sculpting.

Michel can speak Domaccan fluently. He learned this from his older sister and father, who both have huge interest in Domaccan culture.

In the modern world, Michel knows how to breakdance and do backflips.

When Ali is extra happy the foliage from their antlers grows more/better (more/bigger flowers, leaves, vines, ect) but since their winter form doesn’t usually have plants when they’re extra happy they get some winter flowers! They tend to be the more purple ones but these ones have a tendency to change more than the other seasons

pros of writing Cellbit/Dagger as human in Little Dagger AU: more truthful to canon, makes his reality more daunting, makes him more defenseless and thus emphasizes the way he latches onto (bigger, stronger, tougher, naturally-equipped-for-combat) Bad, sets up for how qCellbit believes he has "lost his humanity" and showcases his transition from "human" to "creature", the horror of killing with bare hands/minimal weapons and committing cannibalism is so much more impactful when a fully human character is doing it, highlights the weird habits he picks up from Bad and quirks/coping methods he develops rather than passing them off as a result of his hybridity, etc etc etc

cons of writing Cellbit/Dagger as human in Little Dagger AU: Dagger can't flick his tail to mirror Bad flicking his tail anymore because he has no tail :(( the mimicry :(((

noxus, especially as of now, doesn't seem like it would have gender roles or too complicated rituals where courtship is concerned; and many of those might be a mishmash influenced by other cultures absorbed into the empire. we know for a fact same-sex unions between noxian soldiers happen, so there seems to be no restriction of gender or associated with being part of the military (and honestly, i think it makes sense that the empire would leave its citizens free to pursue relationships in any form they want, committed or not, considering the standard is to judge one by their usefulness to noxus)

the exception would be nobility, where bloodlines and names very much matter. arranged marriages are probably common between noble families, and courtship would likely take longer and be less about the individuals and more about proving why a marriage between those two families would be beneficial.

as the du couteau heir, katarina would have been expected to marry and have children who, in turn, would continue their house's legacy after herself. of course, she never cared for that at all (and i remember a really old interaction i had with ada's sore where her mom intended to arrange a marriage for her and katarina flat out refused to comply and was simply livid). but hey, being disowned freed her from that — and even after swain reinstates her as head of the du couteau guild, she's pretty openly anti nobility. she'd absolutely not entertain their way of doing things in any scenario.

she's very i want it, i'm going to get it in general and that's also true when it comes to relationships. if she's interested she'll act on it. honestly i feel a lot of times it'd just be impulsive; but she's not concerned at all with waiting for the other person to take the lead. she's very spontaneous when it comes to feelings; the thing is sometimes she jumps in and then backs down because she's so afraid of being betrayed and abandoned and hurt again.

when it comes to marriage specifically, it's not something she thinks about at all. she's often traveling because of work, and any partner would have to understand she won't stop coming and going like that, and that there are things she simply wouldn't share with them if it's important for noxus that she doesn't. ultimately, if she's really in love with someone and getting married is important for them and they understand the terms and conditions i think she'd accept. it's just something that doesn't matter to her, and that she wouldn't do unless she really loves her partner.
