I just became interested in your opinion.
Note: I wrote way more than I thought I did so apologies for the length and related deviations from the Neptune part 😂 but summarized version is basically, yes, I think that's a great concept. The kinder fresh water kids are likely infrequently born compared to their more destructive siblings because of the way PJO canon has the modern day Romans think of Neptune as this eldritch terror. So the fresh water aspect is not as appreiated and thus not as prevalent when a kid is born.
Because demigods are basically representatives of their parents for the mortal plane, you know? So, yes, they will represent the various aspects their parent has. They will be able to control the aspects that they don't favour. So the fresh water kids will be able to control salt water and create hurricanes, but these things are little bit more difficult for them than it is for their siblings who favour the destructive side.
The destructive ocean kids can make rain, can find fresh water in the earth or pull it out of other liquids. But it's more difficult for them.
But anyway, rambling aside, yes, I agree 100%. See the read more for my initial babblings.
I think that's a really good take - especially since we already have a split in Hazel taking the brunt of jewels and gems and earth versus Nico's much more prolific hold on death. Arguably we could say Jason is more law and order, justice and judgement, and Thalia is more the expanse of the sky, lightning and thunder and clouds. But we don't know much about Thalia's skills or proficiency with powers. And the way she's represented when we do see her, indicates that she more favours the leadership king of the gods aspect of her dad.
I remember so little of TTC other than the general facts of events, but I do remember that she argued with Percy and Zoe about certain decisions, and then immediately got elected as Artemis's right hand man even though she's still fresh from the tree and only just joined the group. Lmao, imagine someone joining the army but instead of coming in as a Private or whatever the starting rank is, they immediately go to General.
But anyway yeah, that's why I would argue Thalia favours that aspect of her father, where Jason has stated that he never wanted to be a leader so that is definitely not an aspect of his dad that he favours instinctually.
And yes - these are more of a Roman/Greek split 😂 but look I'm working with what I got, okay?
For kids in the same pantheon, I think in PJO canon, probably in the Apollo books or Nico's book, it's stated that the Apollo kids often have different strengths (because the man has ADHD and could not settle on one thing, should be elected the god of hobbies) - certain kids are more medical, others are more artistic, the rest are best at archery. So there's that too!
In my headcanons, I envision Bianca being much more proficient at shadows and darkness and inflicting nightmares (ala Melinoe 🙌 but also Hades 👍) compared to Nico's proficiency with death and ghosts and traveling through dreams. He can't force anything the way Bianca can, but she is also much less sensitive to death and souls than he is. Shadowtravel takes a lot more effort for him than for her, but he can touch a person and have them shrivel up into ash and empty clothes without the effort killing him. She wouldn't have recovered as well from ghostifying Bryce.
People see their worst nightmares when Bianca pins them with a look. They see their death when it's Nico. With Hazel, they probably see themselves being crushed by the earth or something, idk, but she also has the spooky Underworld child stare!
So yes! I think in PJO canon, it starts off with the life-giving children as Neptune starts off as god of fresh water. Then the destructive kids come in as he becomes conflated with Poseidon and the (PJO canon) Romans develop a dislike and distrust of the sea. As that distrust continues to grow into what we have in modern day PJO canon, most of the kids come out cruel and dark-hearted as Neptune himself shifts more to settle with popular belief.
I have a similar thought process with Zeus' children! Yes, he is the god of law and order as well as the sky and king of the gods, but most people these days remember him as the god of sky, lightning and thunder, king of the gods! The law and order, divine justice part kind of gets ignored or forgotten. And that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it means the kids who represent that aspect of him become much smaller in number until there's maybe one every few decades rather than consisting of maybe... 25% of the current generation as they used to.
My thought process on that is, yeah, I imagine the ancient Greeks were much more aware of Zeus being the god of law and order considering he was a major part of their belief system, but there is also Themis who was the god of divine justice, and Dike, their daughter, who took charge of human justice, and in a time of mostly rural and somewhat scattered living control over nature is much more desirable.
Of course, I'm not a history buff, so this is all just general mental mutterings, but likely in larger towns or cities, having him as the forefront of law and order would be a bigger deal than with farmers who just want rain for their crops and the birds to stop eating their plants.
So in the beginning the split was probably something like 75-25 with more proficiency in the elements. And then as populations grew and cities developed, maybe it moved to a 65-35? Or a little higher. I don't think the law and order, justice and judgement favoured kiddos were ever very populous compared to their more elemental counterparts.
Then Rome was established and Jupiter's resulting demigods were much more focused on the whole leadership, maintaining order and erecting laws/rules to follow, enacting justice where they saw fit and punishing rulebreakers.
I figure the kids of the Roman version of Nemesis (quick search says her name is Invidia) were helpful in this area as well. Nemesis is revenge, yes, she was also divine retribution. Her kids, at least in the past before people focused only on the revenge aspect, ideally would prefer retributive justice - aka proportionate to the act.
This aspect makes them more focused on "real" laws, essentially laws approved by authority versus personal rules established by individuals. This makes them somewhat less biased on method of punishment/justice to be distributed compared to Zeus/Jupiter's kids who I headcanon to be focused on their own internal rules versus the general rules established by society.
Like a rule in school is to share the toys available. But if the kid has a personal rule that says "This specific toy does not have to be shared because it is the best toy/my favourite" then the overall sharing rule goes out the door. BUT also if someone else tries not to share something other than that specific toy, then they will jump to action in maintaining that rule.
I have thought about this a lot because my original story (which. I so badly need to keep working on, I think about it all the time 😩) based around this concept of intense sense of justice combined with autistic routine and internalized structure. But I've also thought about it a lot in general surrounded Jason because I use him to project my OC for attention bc lmao no one cares about my oc shitposting otherwise 😂
And yes, this means when I'm in charge of the character the law and order justice and judgement babies are typically autistic. Or at least carry way more in autistic traits than their more elemental counterparts. Because. That's what I'm working with lmao.
Also keeping with the example - the Nemesis/Invidia kids would look at someone breaking the sharing rule and establish a proportionate or previously established measure, like timeout or banning them from playing with the toy for a period of time.
Whereas, depending on how important the rule was to them or whether the rule clashed with a personal rule (such as "this toy is mine" or "my friends are allowed to play with whatever toy they want"), the Zeus/Jupiter kids might think justice needs to be more intense, like extending the period of time they can't play with the toy, or significantly more extreme, like spanking or expelling them from the school.
Each kid will have a varying level of extremes when it comes to justice, depending on the importance they give any law, whether societal or personal. This makes them really annoying to deal with sometimes, but luckily these days there's only one Zeus kid at a time and Roman gods appear to have less kids than their Greek counterparts (possibly because Greek gods are more popular in modern society so they don't exist in Roman form very often, hence the much higher quantity of legacy demigods inside Camp Jupiter) so they don't have to deal with it as much either.
But given Jupiter's much higher status in Rome compared to Zeus in Greece, the campers are probably much more willing to deal with whatever the Jupiter kids come up, even if it's the nuclear option over something innocuous. The Greek campers would probably give them drugs and make them go to sleep 😂. Like they respect Zeus's kids much more than they respect the others, but Zeus is still apart of a counsel of 12, thereby somewhat equal to them regardless of his king status, but Jupiter is the head of Rome. So his opinion, and his kids' opinions, are much more valued and respected. At least by most of the campers. His siblings and his niblings are probably just like "bro stop talking" lmao.
At least in reality that's how it should be. In PJO canon, maybe the Jupiter kids get drugged and sent to bed for their nuclear decisions too 🤷♂️ who knows lmao
So 😂😂 yes all that rambling aside, I think that Neptune having a split of life-giving and destructive kids due to his own split nature - salty killer ocean versus life-giving refreshing fresh water. But as modern perception changes - at least in PJO canon but probably IRL too since I'm pretty sure most people connect Neptune direct to Poseidon and are not aware of the fresh water origin - the destructive kids appear more and more with the calmer kinder kids crumbling down in number, until, like Zeus' law and order babes, there's only one every so often.
And due to the pre-established concept that Neptune is not a form that Poseidon takes often because Greek gods are more popular, that means he probably only has a fresh water favoured kid every few hundred years. So the fresh water kids are like a myth to the other demigods. A pipe dream, lost to time.
But also - just because the kids favour a specific aspect doesn't mean that they can't use the other aspects. It's just harder and requires more effort for them than it would be the kids who favoured the aspect they're trying to hit. So the vicious ocean kids can make fresh water out of salt water. They can create rain to water plants. But it requires more effort than like. Creating a huge wave to knock everyone over because they're bored.
The fresh water kids are likely more skilled with oceanic, giant waves that aren't technically tsunamis, hurricane, typhoon and, yes, also tsunami type powers as well because, even if they do favour fresh water, it's not like they're born knowing that. So like everyone else they will probably assume destructive ocean energy, especially if there's another Neptune baby teaching them. But they will go to bed each night, haunted by these intense feeling that they're missing a core aspect of who they are.
The ocean is part of them, yes, it's their father. But the fresh water wells deep below the earth pull at their gut even if they don't know that's what they're feeling, and when it rains they feel more rejuvenated than their sibling(s) do. Their skyborn cousins can control the rain and sky, but sometimes they think that's wrong. The rain belongs to them, doesn't it? They should be the masters of it, the givers of it. They should be handling it far better than their eaglet cousins.
Also - the rain thing. Neptunalia was a summer festival in honor of Neptune, held in the hopes that he would bless them with rain because of the heat and drought. So yeah, rainstorms, sun showers, etc, are things they can do. Percy, as a child of Poseidon, can't do that. He can make hurricanes but that's not really the same as a sun shower, or putting a raincloud over your head to wash off all the mud on you from this monster lmao.
But since the CJ Romans fear and detest Neptune, it's likely that they don't celebrate this festival - although I wrote a little thing a couple years ago about Jason trying to get Percy to help him set up his modern replacements for the festival when I was in my "Jason is an intense follower of Religio Romana" (the Roman version of Hellenstic paganism)" kick 😂. But reality is that in PJO canon it's unlikely they celebrate it - and that was the only festival Neptune had.
Also additional side note: Neptune is not a god of the earth. He was the god of all fresh water on earth - rivers, streams, underground wells of fresh water, rain (which is soaked into the earth). But yeah that's where the earth thing came from.
It would be cool if, as a result, his kids were able to manipulate the earth a little bit other than earthquakes. Like the earth would have to be super saturated with water, so a desert wouldn't work even if they created a rainstorm to flood it. Also the earth does not really soak up water in a flood either so trying to make wet soil to manipulate through rainstorms is not very possible for them and they hate that so much, lmao.
Imagine a little kid standing in one spot slowly watering a planter filled with dirt, stopping every few seconds to mix up the dirt before they go back to watering. They're there for like fifteen minutes before they stop water and then they're trying to raise the dirt into a misshapen ball and they're sweating so hard from the effort before it just collapses back into the planter and they have to sit down because, ooof.
Yeah, earth is a very small thing for them manipulation-wise and only under specific circumstances. I think the most they could do is maybe move it a bit, which could be useful when trying to trip up enemies, but otherwise it's not the most beneficial power 😂 but there were likely one or two kids who were obsessed with mastering it over the centuries.
Anyway, in what is definitely not gonna be a brief summation, yes, yes, yes. I do love heartless cruel child of Neptune in PJO, representing what Percy could turn into if he lost everyone he ever cared about, the people who keep him moral and ethical. But gentle kids who like to help other people because they favour the fresh water aspect of their father. The aspect that gives fresh water for people drink to survive, to water their crops. The aspect that provides rain during the drought, so they can collect it and survive.
A lot of the gods have various aspects to them, so their kids will favour different aspects. Thalia favours the leadership of Zeus, Nico favours death, Hazel favours wealth, etc, etc.
The only kids who are likely very consistent amongst themselves are the children of gods who have one specific purpose that's never wavered, even if their history isn't very consistent because of parentage changes or origin differences - like Nemesis or Dike or Moros. Set gods, you know? The ones who don't have an "and" in their "god of" statements.
But other gods, even minor gods because some of them do have more than one purpose like Persephone and Eros, will have kids that instinctually favour different aspects of themselves. Modern day perception may shift how many kids born favour certain aspects, like Neptune having more oceanic kids and Zeus having more elemental kids.
Feel like I need to wrap this up in a fancier way than the above ending sentence but lmao I got nothing so we're gonna go with the classic: The End.

If the gap was shorter I’d avoid spoilers, but unfortunately I don’t have the patience to wait that long 😅 Omg I love the callbacks to Undercover, and I’m so mad I brushed off the title similarities as a coincidence instead of expecting a connection. I think the song is beautiful, her voice is so powerful and emotional! I like that there’s a lot of sudden tone switches (idk the right word for it, but she goes from singing gently/calmly to getting forceful and back). Her under, under in the middle always gets me ahh
I was going to make a post a while ago about Backdraft, how everyone else’s video focuses on their crime because that’s the main thing on their mind, but Fuuta is more tormented by Milgram itself – his video is equal parts Milgram as it is his murder. And so I think it’s really telling that Kotoko’s mind also isn’t as focused on her crime – a core part of her character is being on her guard and analyzing those around her. Even before her character was properly introduced in her vd, she appeared early to prove how close an eye she was keeping on the others. Harrow was about the tons and tons of dangers she was keeping an eye on, to the point it’s hard to tell which villain is her actual victim. It makes perfect sense that a peek into her brain at this point in time would be filled with the ins and outs of the prison, and her thoughts on everyone.
(Now, I’m just torn whether I want her video to show more about herself and her crime, or give us glimpses of the others in day-to-day prison life as she watches them…)

Donatello and Cody make a device that can freeze time, but does it work?

Donatello had been eager to show you and his brothers, his and Cody’s latest project. At night when the two of you were about to got to bed, he would start rambling on about how it might be one of the greatest innovations ever made. This left you very interacted, as you had thought Cody’s accidental time machine was the greatest innovation ever made.
It didn’t take long before that day came. In the depths of Cody’s lab, Donatello and the young Jones proudly presented the small top rounded machine to you and the rest of the turtles.
“That’s it?”, Raph asked, looking at the clock-like machine in front of him. “All this for a fashy stopwatch?”
“I think Donnie finally lost his mind”, Mikey whispered to Leo, causing the oldest turtle to roll his eyes.
“It is not a stopwatch”, Donnie said. “It’s a Temporal Interruption Device - or TID for short”.
“Donnie, sweetheart”, you said, using that nickname that made Donnie churr whenever the two of you were alone. “You know I love it when you tech-talk, but I have no idea what that means”.
Donatello sighed before pointing to the machine with a deadpan look. “That thing can stop time. Pause it, you can say”.
“So I was right!”, Raphael laughed. “It is a stopwatch!”
“Kind of”, Cody smiled, finding the banter amusing. “I have to admit, when Donatello first came up with the idea I thought it was strange, impossible even. But then Donnie reminded me that if you can travel in time, then it should also be possible to stop time”.
Leo hummed in thought, rubbing his chin. “It sounds pretty amazing, Donnie, but is it a good idea to freeze time?”
“Well, just like time travel can have its consequences on the space time continuum, I would speculate that freezing of time would most likely have some of the same”, Donnie said in thought, looking through his notes on his holographic tablet. “But we got time to figure that out, no pun intended. The Temporal Interruption Device isn’t ready yet. It still has a few bugs we need to smooth out, before it even can freeze water”.
“But if it worked”, you started, your curiosity peaked like it did so often when Donnie talked about his work. “How do you use it?”
“It’s very easy”, Donnie said, beaming bright at your interest in his invention. He took your hand and led you close to the machine, causing Mikey and Raph to make gagging noises behind your back, only for Leo to give them a light scolding. He took your other hand, making your stomach tingle slightly, before putting it on top of the rounded machine. “You just put your hand here”, he said, his face close to yours as he did so. You turned your head to smile at him, almost forgetting his brothers and Cody being nearby.
“Gross, they’re doing it again”, Mikey said. “They are doing that weird tech PDA thing!”
“Be nice, Mikey”, Leo said, just as Donnie put slight pressure on your hand.
“And then you just push”, he said, ignoring his younger brother. The machine made a small click as it was pushed down. You didn’t think anything strange of it as the lamps lit up, but when you saw Donnie’s confused expression, you knew something was up. Your boyfriend never looked confused at his own inventions.
Before you could ask him what was going on, the machine made a small thing. Then all sound stopped. The small background hums of the machines in Cody’s lap, Splinter’s soap opera in the living room and the song Serling had been singing in the kitchen, all stopped.
The other turtles and Cody were stuck in various poses, mid-action, all in the midst of moving towards the two of you, in what seemed like a hurry. You and Donatello however remained unaffected.
"Oops”, he said, in an almost unintentional comical manner, as he took in the others' appearances. “This wasn't supposed to happen".
You looked around at the frozen scene, a mix of awe and amusement on your face. "This is so cool, Donnie", you said, grabbing onto his arm.
“I guess so”, Donnie said, turning his head to the side as he looked at his brothers, a small smile spreading across his face once more, when he turned to you once more. You loved whenever he adorned that smile. Slightly mischievous but never any less than sweet and bright. Typically a smile Donatello would show, whenever he had an idea he thought to be good. “Wanna take a look around?”
“Of course”, you smiled back.
You and your boyfriend walked from the lab and into the living room, where you found Splinter frozen in front of the television, shock spread across his face, taking in the character on the screen, that was in the middle of telling her cousin she was actually her stepsister.
In the kitchen you found Serling in the middle of his cooking. Food on the stove while he stood at the kitchen counter, a knife slightly raised over the vegetables he had been cutting.
“Okay, you were right”, Donnie chuckled. “This is pretty cool”.
“It almost feels wrong”, you said, making your way behind Serling so you could get to the fridge. “To be walking around without them knowing”. You opened the fridge and took out two juice boxes.
“You’re once again right”, he said, accepting the juice box with a grateful smile, letting his hand linger on yours for a bit. “But I have to be honest, I do like how quiet it is”.
“There’s something about that”, you giggled, bringing the straw of your juice box to your mouth so you could take a sip. But before you could manage that, Donatello put his juice box on the kitchen counter and brought his arms around your waist, pulling you into a quick sudden kiss. You kissed him back, but couldn’t help but giggle against his lips. “What was that for?”
“With my brothers frozen in time, I can kiss you as much as I want without them acting up”, he joked, dipping in for another deep kiss. You smiled against his lips, enjoying the nice and quiet moment, knowing that no one would come and interrupt you. Maybe the Temporal Interruption Device would become way more handy than you originally had thought it would.
When the two of you pulled apart, you had already forgotten the presents of frozen Serling in the kitchen, causing both of you to jump a bit.
“Maybe we should go back and unfreeze them”, Donnie said, still with his arm wrapped around you, his hand making soft circular motions on your back.
“That’s probably a good idea”, you said, handing him his juice box once more, before finally taking a sip of your own.
You and Donnie went back to the lab, chuckling at the sight of his brothers and Cody, frozen in the same position you left them in. Still with your juice boxes in hand, you went over to the machine, where both of you placed your hands on top. You gave it a good press, watching as the world around you got unpaused. The humming of the machines came back, followed with the sound of Splinter gasping at his soap opera.
“Bianca, no!”
The turtles and Cody came back to life, hurrying forward, only to stop in their tracks when they saw you and Donnie happily drink out of your juice boxes. They stared at you, confused by the sudden appearances of the juice boxes, let alone who the two of you managed to get to the other side of the Temporal Interruption Device in less than a second. But before they could ask any questions, Serling came into the lab with a heavy sigh, metallic hand rubbing the place where his nose should have been.
“Master Donatello, Miss (Y/N)”, he started, sounding very strained. “I understand the need and appeal of getting affectionate with no interruptions, but please refrain from doing it in front of me. Even with time frozen, my picture memory and motion sensors can read any interaction”.
“Don’t say it like that, Serling”, you sighed, trying to ignore the expression on the boys’ faces. “You make it sound like we had sex in front of you”. Donatello almost choked on his juice by your forwardness, causing the boys to burst out in laughter. Even after such a long time together, it still managed to surprise Donatello every once in a while.
“I am just happy you left before deciding to do so”, Serling sighed, before turning towards the door so he could return to the kitchen. “That mental recording and terabyte trauma just wouldn’t be worth it”.

Watching Across the Spiderverse w/ Lo'ak & Neteyam (ft. Spider)
A/N; Since so many of us crossover into both these fandoms, I came up with this fun idea. Also, it was kinda inspired by the cute human drabbles that @littletrippyyhippyy writes! Hope y'all enjoy, I made myself laugh writing this, at least 😂
Warnings; Bit of swearing. Spider loses it. Lo'ak's a dummy. Spoilers for both movies, I guess??? Human reader. Kinda proofread.
Summary; You convince Neteyam and Lo'ak to watch Across the Spiderverse with you. They have some questions...

From your sudden verbal outburst, it's safe for the Sully brothers next to you to assume that you enjoyed the movie.
Across the Spiderverse, to be exact.
"That was incredible!! You guys liked it, right? Of course you did! You loved it! Tell me how much you loved it!!" you ramble, excitedly jumping up from your seat on the couch, turning to face your two Na'vi friends.
It had all been Jake's idea. Ever since you arrived on Pandora five years ago, his sons had become more interested in learning about human culture, from different foods to pop culture. The Sully patriarch had a feeling that their interest had piqued because of you specifically, but that was an avenue to be ventured down another time.
The brothers had happily agreed to watch this movie with you, despite having no idea what a spider is or why it should be attributed to any man. But, they couldn't turn down any time spent with you.
After begging Norm to somehow source the long-awaited sequel to Into the Spiderverse, you had ushered them over to the shack through the comms system. Whether you believed in the deity or not, you thanked God for Norm and his ways. Wi-Fi on Pandora was sketchy at best and just about held up for the odd email. Yet, somehow, Norm had got a hold of the new cinematic release so that you wouldn't have to suffer through streaming it.
And for you, it had been so worth the wait. You had loved every damn second. When Into the Spiderverse came out, you had been preparing to leave Earth. It was crazy to think how much had changed in the five years since you arrived on Pandora, a theme that had been mirrored in the movie.
Whipping your head round from the projector screen, where the movie credits rolled, Neteyam and Lo'ak would've marvelled at the joy lighting up your face if they hadn't been so damn confused. Neteyam looked as though he were about to say something but was continuously rephrasing it in his mind. Whereas Lo'ak just came straight out with it, amber eyes narrowed. "I'm confused..."
"By what?" you scrunch your face up. You had taken time to explain the whole premise of the Marvel universe to the brothers. Apparently they hadn't caught on just yet.
"Everything. Why could that Miles guy walk upside down? Why were there so many man spiders? And when will he kiss the blonde girl??"
"Lo'ak, I explained it all to you! Miles got bit by a radioactive Spider in the first movie, couldn't save his uncle Aaron, and you should know the rest!" you flop in between the brothers in an over-dramatic way, resuming your seat from earlier.
Lo'ak's brows knit together in a childish sort of way, but he smirks teasingly. "I can't ask questions now? Not my fault your dumb human movie makes no sense... OW!"
Neteyam's slap up the side of Lo'ak's head puts him back in his place. You exchange an amused glance with the oldest Sully brother, before giving Lo'ak a nudge in the ribs.
"Shut up, skxawng. Not my fault you didn't pay attention! The movie was amazing, right Neteyam?"
Neteyam looks a little caught off guard as you ask his opinion. In truth, he's a little confused by the story too, but he had paid better attention to your precursory Marvel lesson.
"It was...interesting." he muses thoughtfully, before Lo'ak cuts him off.
"I got another question! Why, Y/N, did you blush whenever that big guy came on the screen?"
His shit-eating smirk would have annoyed you if your thoughts hadn't been redirected to your favourite hunky Spider-Man.
"Oh, Miguel?" you ask before sighing dreamily. The brothers watch you in amusement as you resemble an ice pop melting in the August sun. "He's yummy..."
"Gross! He was a jerk!" Lo'ak exclaims. "He looked like he was about to explode he was so huge! Is this really what you human girls like?"
Grabbing the remote from you, Lo'ak rewinds the movie to a still of Miguel, immediately wishing he hadn't when you squeal in delight. As you do, though, he not-so-subtly flexes his biceps to compare with your animated crush.
"You got a way to go, bro" Neteyam chortles, eyeing his brother's lanky arms in amusement. Lo'ak just rolls his eyes.
"Whatever. That guy was an asshole. Did you see the way he yelled at Miles?" Lo'ak waves his arms around and it's honestly amusing to you how invested he appears to be in the movie.
"Kinda reminded me of you and your Dad..." you tap your chin in thought, grinning at the sputtering sound of laughter that comes from Neteyam beside you. Once again, Lo'ak scowls, but it doesn't stop you adding, "...on a good day..."
Neteyam loses it then and there, his usual coyness replaced with hysterical laughter that forces him to reach for the Co2 ask around his neck. Even Lo'ak cracks a small smile at your quip, and soon you're all laughing together.
That is, until the moment is interrupted by your human brother from another mother.
"Hey guys! I got snacks for the movie, I can't wait to see i-"
Spider's eyes widen with betrayal as they land on the rolling credits on the screen. His jaw drops, as do the snacks that he's holding. You can only bite your lip and stifle a laugh as his focus turns to you, pointing an accusing finger. "YOU."
"Spider, I'm sorry but you took too long!" you leap up, backing away from him. He's taller than you, after all, and evidently pissed. The sight makes Neteyam and Lo'ak snicker a little, although they are a bit worried for you...
"You watched the whole damn thing without me!" Spider is not far away from throwing a hissy fit, and it takes everything in you not to explode with laughter. Hands outstretched, you look as though you're taming a wild mountain banshee. At the moment, Spider certainly resembles one. "YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE SPIDER-MAN, Y/N! WHY DO YOU THINK EVERYONE CALLS ME SPIDER?"
"I thought it was because of your hair, bro..." Lo'ak teases, truly testing your resolve where laughter is concerned.
"BRO-"
"Let's calm down..." Neteyam chuckles, standing up to try and calm Spider down in his big-brotherly way, "We'll watch it again, right Y/N?"
"Of course!" you squeak, growing a little nervous at Spider's impending wrath. So much so that after hiding behind Neteyam, you dart towards the door, giggling as you run away from the taller human boy.
"Y/N! YOU. ARE. DEAD!"
There's a mad chase, but the Sully brothers look at each other in amusement as they hear your high-pitched laughter resounding through the corridor.
"Looks like we're watching the man spiders again, bro..." Lo'ak turns to his brother.
"Yeah, looks that way..." Neteyam grins.

onto your question-- edrahil!! he's definitely one of the blorbos that doesn't get enough attention 😤 i would be lying if i said that im not guilty of this too, since i think ive only ever read... one? fic with him in it waa.... but as always with the professor's work, great fun comes from the freedom with which one can interpret the minor characters! here's one of the first doodles i did of him when i got your ask:
the bread and butter of my male characters always ends up being slender bishonen-types, but one of my goals going forth is to try and adapt myself to not falling to same face syndrome in the future, so i thought itd be fun to start by making edrahil swoler than usual on a whim 🙈 based on his one (1) line the book, he strikes me as a steadfast i will follow my liege to my death type of fellow.... and then it snowballed from there.... and that's how my take on edrahil eventually evolved from stoic-man-who-is-also-a-peerless-warrior into a no-thoughts-head-empty-his-majesty-only bodyguard
i like to think he's much nicer than he lets on and nowhere near as serious as his RBF may suggest! much like the rest of finrod's personal guard (aka his fanclub), their lord's wellbeing and public image come first above anything else. perhaps their strong loyalty should be concerning, but it's finrod i-befriend-Men-and-swear-eternal-oaths-of-friendship felagund we're talking about.... so maybe theyve got their own reasons too lmao

Hi!! Have you had any success stories or know any of someone manifesting superpowers? ♡
Yeah i have one, but my manifestation was just having Supernatural Friends and boyfriend.
And let me tell you that i have manifested this even tho i didn't even discover the Law of assumption 😭, i just knew shifting and i didn't have limiting beliefs about the illogical things.
So what i did is i scripted my WR (stands for waiting room) and i scripted Also my Supernatural Friends and my boyfriend.
I was trying to shift there to meet them..but it didn't work (cause duh i had so much limiting beliefs about shifting believing that i had to do methods to shift🗿).
But since i haven't shifted i just decided that they will Come to this World.
Firstly i didn't know if they did Come here or not until in november 2020 my little sister Saw in the window that my Supernatural Friends and my boyfriend was in the car passing by the street that is in front of our apartment.
And i told her (my little sis) "hey..isn't one of my Friend have telepathic power? Then why don't we try to communicate with Them through our Minds?" And yes it worked so my sister started talking to them with just her mind (if you doubt me and you just Say "how did you know that it worked?" Well there were so many proofs and i will talk about them later on).
We had so much fun talking to them with just our Minds (thanks to my little sis🥹).
But you might wondering if i met them? No i didn't cause they didn't want me to meet them cause of my strict parents (by the way my Supernatural Friends are : 4 guys and one of them is my boyfriend and 2 girls).
Proofs : well when drama was happening in my middle school i would Ask my boyfriend to read their Minds or to know an information about them, and he would told me, i couldn't believe him at first but then when i would Ask some common Friend about that "the rumors" they would Say the same thing my boyfriend said and yup i was speechless and that proved that my friends and my boyfriend were here.
Then i really wanted to manifest my favorite fictional character (eren yeager from attack on titan) cause i had a Big crush on him 🤭, so my boyfriend suggested to bring him here with the Magic wand (yes my Magic wand is with my boyfriend 😥) so he made him Come to this World and he didn't Even told me (cause yeah my boyfriend is jealous), i was Sitting in the Park with my sister and my parents then i noticed a man walking like he didn't Even know where he was (and he was looking exactly like my fictional character "eren" he even was wearing the same clothes and even the hairstyle hsbfkgnidbf😫😩💗) i quickly told my sister "hey don't you think that man looks like eren?" And she told me "oh yeah it true" then i told her "hey Ask (my boyfriend's name) if that man is eren?" She hesistated a bit and told me that yeah it was him but 10 years older (because in the show he's 19 so that means he came from the future), so he started walking then he sat near my Parents my jaw dropped to the roof i was extremely surprised and Also excited, he was holding a black bag and another bag full of bread but suddenly it disappeared 😨 and he started smoking, girl i started fangirling at that moment 🤭😂..and i have so many stories but i would write an essay if i could tell you all of it😂.
Oh and also one day me and my little sis witnessed eren teleported right in front of us. (Yes my eyes couldn't believe what it Saw).
So yeah that it, now i'm manifesting to wake up in the void aware and to manifest my dream life and to live with my Friends.
Sorry for rambling 😅 and yeah that my success story.

I️ LOVE and ADORE Xaden going from “I️ don’t care about you or your feelings 🙄” to “Why wouldn’t I️ come for you and take you home? 🥺”
It really reminds me of this post where someone made the commentary about Xaden refusing to coddle and be nice to Violet, even downright being an asshole about it
To giving her his flight jacket because gods forbid Violet be cold for the 2-3 minutes they would’ve stood in formation!
Love love love that growth for him, like yes king! Tell us how much you love her through your actions! Give her that flight jacket and everything!
Chapter 35 was such a GIFT! I️ loved it so much! From Mira and Xaden shelving their dislike for each other for V’s sake and just mother henning her! Loved Xaden taking care of her and reaffirming that she can be upset at the threat against her hair and the autonomy she would have been robbed of, had Aetos actually cut it. I️ love how gentle he was, making sure she was okay, even arguing with Tairn about it on the flight home because their whole dynamic in canon is just over protective dragon meets over protective enemy to mutually assured destruction to lovers, and amari give us mercy that Violet gets injured around either one of them.
I️ was so shocked and legit almost cried at the confession because bby boy X was NOT letting her think that he didn’t love her! Really gives a whole “Aretia could burn and I️ wouldn’t care as long as I️ had you.” vibe to it and I️. Am. Not. Okay!!! I️ am not normal or sane about this love confession! V is getting some HONESTY out of this man without having to jump through 5 million hoops or questions about it. X really just said it with both tiddies and his full chest!!
I️ also really loved the display of Rhi and Xaden’s conversation. He knows how much Rhi means to Violet, and having her best friend with her is the best thing for her! I’m so nervous and excited to see if you include a convo with the rest of the squad about her torture sessions and just showing how much they all love her! Cam was right! Everyone who knows Violet Sorrengail is a little bit in love with her!!
I’m curious if Violet is gonna think about how she basically begged for her mom to come with them to Aretia, when she was freed and I️ wonder what Xaden would have done if Lilith had actually planned to go with her daughter… thoughts and theories I️ suppose!!
God Alli, there are so many little things about this chapter that I️ adored and so little time to write about it! I LOVE this fic so much that I️ always am ready to read the next chapter immediately! So ready!! I️ hope this doesn’t pressure you too much but I️ did want to say that I️ adore this fic so much!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!

Hey! Glad to hear the Phase has been helpful for you! Happy to answer your question, but it’s a bit more complicated than a yes/no answer and I’m feeling rambly today so you’re gonna get a whole backstory on how this blog came to be 😂
Backstory about me & this blog
I’d been in the personal development manifestation community since around 2016, and it was my life for a long time. But the kind of manifesting these people taught was basically like… wake up at 5am, work out, journal, meditate, shadow work, tarot cards, affirmations, cold showers, start a business, post no less than 10 times a day across your 5+ social media channels, and maybe if you hustle hard enough and cleared enough past life karma and Mercury isn’t retrograde, then the universe might grant your wishes... (if you don’t die of exhaustion first. 😅)
It really was a mess and realize now despite the facade of positive thinking and good vibes, the whole community really just keeps themselves identifying with lack & victim mentality so the coaches at the top profit off everyone else’s misery.
I believed in manifesting and had faith I would achieve my goals, but despite years of trying a million different things, only saw small or short-term successes and never seemed to get anywhere. I was feeling pretty burnt out and miserable, so summer 2023 I decided to stop trying so hard and just spend some time focused on myself and what I wanted. I went back to the two methods that I’ve always loved and had success with: affirmations and tapping.
I tapped every day and started making affirmation art and lockscreen wallpaper for fun. I posted the affirmations on Pinterest, which eventually lead me to finding affirmations pinned from tumblr. I think it was a screenshot from blushydior I saw at first, but her blog was deactivated by then. So I started stumbling around tumblr (around Aug-Sept 2023 at this point), where I eventually came across loa, the void, and shifting.
I was surprised because despite my extreme research into all things personal development & spiritual, I’d never heard of it. Although I’d read about quantum physics and more supernatural things, every coach/teacher had major limits. “Manifesting” only meant getting logical earth things like making 6 figures in your business through hard work and hustle so you can afford to travel and buy luxury cars & Chanel bags. Stuff like changing the past, waking up with all your desires, etc was absolutely impossible and not even talked about except “you can’t change the past”.
So having only heard about these incredible overnight life-changing manifestations from tumblr, I was skeptical and wanted more information. I basically started this blog to collect information from outside tumblr to prove it to myself and share with others. Which of course sent me down a rabbit hole of research and overconsumption and overcomplicating the void 😅
I did get kinda obsessed and throw myself into trying every shifting & void method I saw right away, which just left me frustrated with “failed” attempts. But I see now I was just repeating the same victim mentality from the old community - that everything had to be hard and a struggle, that I was a victim of circumstance and limited by a higher power. (This is also a really commonly held limiting belief in religion and society in general that affects many people.)
It took me more than a few months to realize, but I’m finally switching my default programming to that of a creator instead of a victim. Because I don’t want to be obsessed and put the void on a pedestal, I’m currently just working on my self concept that I am in control of my reality and can manifest whatever I want - with or without the void. I still do want to experience it of course, just want to make sure I’m going at it with a healthy mindset.
However!
About a week or two ago I read someone’s void success story that triggered a memory from many years ago: I realized I actually did wake up in the void and manifested something, long before I even knew what manifesting or the void was 😭 Because I’d always believed in supernatural things, I thought I had a “psychic dream” but now I know it was the void! (If anyone wants storytime I can make another post with more detail).
And since at the time, I entered without even knowing about the void’s existence, I realize we here or tumblr really do overcomplicate it. Like the video I posted where the void is described as the midway point between wake and sleep - it really is that simple!
I’ve noticed now that whenever I wake up naturally (not getting woken up by an alarm, outside noise, or cat jumping on me) I do always seem to wake up in the void. It’s the same kind of experience, and I don’t hear anything, but my first natural instinct when I wake up is to wonder where the sounds of my environment are. So I end up tuning in to my room and snapping out of the void.
I guess I just have to train myself to make my first thought an affirmation for my desires instead of just wondering where the sounds are 😅 But regardless, now I know it’s absolutely real and possible for me, I know it’s only a matter of time until I figure it out!

Hi!! I always love what you write, so I'm very excited to see whatever this secret project is! But for now I do have a question about beta reading. How did you break into it? For a long time I have thought that I would enjoy doing that for different people, and I like that kind of fine-tooth comb editing work. But I am not a writer myself, just an avid fic enjoyer, so it feels like I can't quite bring as much to the table or meet other authors in a mutual kind of way. And I would never want to imply that an author needed that extra help or anything like that by just cold reaching out to them. Can I just say to start with, that as an avid fic enjoyer, you absolutely can meet writers and other creators in a mutual way! Everyone has a place in fandom and something to contribute. It would be a very lonely world for creators if people weren't there to enjoy what we make (and hopefully tell us what they're liking those things). Personally, I appreciate readers so much and I especially love seeing regular names pop up in my inbox 💖💖
As for how I got into beta reading, it started back when a pal in Schitt's Creek fandom was writing a fic and worried that she was going to lose motivation to write it so I offered to sit in the doc and cheer her on. Please note that my motivation for doing so was entirely selfish because it meant that I had early access to the fic that I desperately wanted her to keep writing 😅 that eventually turned into me beta reading that fic (and all of her fics after that) for her.
I started beta reading more frequently in RWRB - I'd signed up as a beta reader for an event, but around the same time I also got to know other writers via a discord server. Sometimes people would ask for beta readers and I'd volunteer - I'm still a tiny bit dirty that @three-drink-amy snagged the beta rights to bleedingballroomfloor's baseball boyfriends fic right out from under my nose even though she is far better qualified than I to beta read a baseball fic - so much so that she helped me with the baseball scenes in my rwrb lawyer au lol (please know that I love them both dearly, there is no internet beef here).
You say that you don't want to reach out to writers and imply that they need assistance, but honestly, sliding into people's DMs and letting them know that either I'm very interested in X fic that they're writing and would they like someone to beta read it or that I'm available in general to help if they want it because I love their writing is how I've ended up beta reading for almost all of the writers I do that for!! People are generally just thankful to know that someone is interested in their writing! It can be a lonely hobby sometimes and having someone to live in your docs or send snippets to can help balance the need for wanting to talk about your fics with someone or bounce ideas off someone and wanting to keep what you're working on under wraps.
God, this is getting really long, I'm so sorry. I've been rambling and I'm not even sure that I answered your question.
You asked what my experience has been like and for the most part, it's been very positive! I get early access to fics (I often say that my favourite way to read a fic is in google docs 😂), I get to cheer my friends on and sometimes they even trust me enough to let me throw ideas at them and write them into their stories - sometimes I even get to do this without actually doing any editing and that's just as fun. I love beta reading, I think there's something really special about being trusted with the draft of someone's writing and getting to help make it the best that it can be (what that involves looks different for every writer I work with). 💖
And all of that doesn't even touch on how much I learn from the writers I've worked with - it's definitely helped me improve my own writing!

uhhh thoughts on alabasta ratman sleep-deprived and weed fueled ace vs peak chad energy fuckboy prime wano ace?? like which one do you prefer, do you have any thoughts if he’d treat/think of luffy any different? in these two periods of his life?
(also ugh I adore both and there’s something special about alabasta ace who went after luffy to drum island, made sure everyone knew he would be waiting for luffy in alabasta, then went and sat there for 10 days with no other purpose but to wait for luffy. bc he just wanted to see him so so much. brocon alabasta ace is uhhhgggghh insane vibes but. there’s also something about wano graciously giving everyone big tits and a healthy layer of fat tissue on top of all that muscle. also the fact that portgas d “i hate when little children follow me around” ace willingly befriended and took care of tama. also promised her the same thing he promised luffy. idkidkidk I just like to think luffy was on ace’s mind 90% of the time, wherever he went, and he often just thought about him bc a lot of thinks reminded him of luffy. like things luffy would like, things he’d like to eat, things he’d find funny etc)
I thought this would be easy to answer but then I had like a whole essay typed up in my head. so. thank you for this ask, I have a lot of feelings about it apparently. 😂😂
they really do feel like 2 different characters, maybe bc Oda was still firming up the details of marineford/wano when Ace first appeared in alabasta? In any case it's always fun seeing which "version" of him fans lean into in fanart/fic/headcanons hahaha. like do they make him more scrungly and sleazy (but maybe also secretly doting)? you got yourself a greasy Ace fan. do they make him all upstanding and softly affectionate and soulful? wano ace wano ace wano ace

I have to admit...... and I'm ashamed to say it............... but I was only half-aware of Ace in Alabasta—like at that point, he was just another "wacky cool shounen guy" to me. It took Marineford breaking my brain down to its component parts and rearranging them for my full Ace brainrot to set in, and at that point he was closer to Ethereal Fridged Wife wano Ace, so I'd probably go with that one? God I do need to rewatch Alabasta tho, I feel like it'd be such a trip of fawning over greasy ratman Ace this time around ahahahah

I agree with everything you said though... I love wrinkly, wrung-out-to-dry Alabasta Ace and his devil-may-care coolness. His vibes of being just a bit more of a rebel than any of the Strawhats even, the thing that makes people cast him as a guitarist or artist in modern AUs. that fuckin,,,,, crouch/perching thing he does,,,, The WAITING... he's so understated with his devotion, like, this panel??
he's trying to be so cool and older brother-y but really he just wants his little brother to visit him sometimes!!! he waited for luffy for 10 days when he's been prioritizing this mission over everything else, even being with his other found-family crew, and I just!!! sigh
"any thoughts if he’d treat/think of luffy any different" I so agree that Wano Ace is pre-Whitebeard Ace, meaning that even though he's presenting himself as independent and a leader/captain, there's a part of him that's still very angry and searching for acceptance. And yesss, bc of that he was probably holding his memories of Luffy so close all the time, seeing his brother who loves him in the innocent, trusting kid he helps, and unable to stop bragging about his brave little brother to the brash, impressive club-weilding guy he runs into.
meanwhile I feel like Alabasta Ace is actually more mellowed-out in his feelings toward Luffy, in a way? like idk, maybe—I might be completely off—but he's more secure in himself and his attachment to Luffy... or at least he tells himself he is. I just feel like that explains why he's shown to be so openly brag-y about Luffy in his Wano days, but seems way more laidback in Alabasta, haha (but the brocon devotion is still there, just better-hidden, lmaoooo) (and it gets ripped to the forefront during Marineford—he's forced to confront all that fear and attachment when he sees Luffy hurtling through the air toward him AH)

When Benedict invited you over to his house, you were imagining an afternoon of tea and pleasant chatter with him and his mother who more than once had insisted you call her Violet. There would be longing looks passed between you in moments of quiet, perhaps, and you even dared to dream of a moment in which the two of you reached for the teapot at the same time and your hands would brush for just a moment.
You had not expected Violet to be busying herself with preparations for Daphne’s next ball of the season, nor for your reluctant stand-in chaperone to be Eloise. You certainly hadn’t expected said chaperone to put a hand on your shoulder five minutes into your visit, murmur something about a book she had to get back to before leaving the room moments later.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N, I never thought that Eloise would just-” he cut himself off before he disparaged his sister too much in your presence, “If you no longer want to spend the remainder of the day together, I’ll completely understand.”
You tilted your head at him to work out his meaning. Benedict was far from being a shy man, and the two of you had spent many a ball away from prying eyes when you found a corner to yourselves to talk. He’d also made his feelings on the unspoken rules of society quite plain from the night that you’d met, so it couldn't have been that. Taking this into account, his questioning could only be driven by his concern for your own comfort and the thought made you shiver.
“Do you want me to leave, Benedict? Only because you did promise that you’d show me your latest masterpiece and I am ever so keen to see how you’ve immortalised me in oil paint,” you said, eyes bright with gentle teasing. He hadn’t noticed the amusement in your face, if the pink tinge dusting across his cheeks was any indication.
“I’m worried I’ve given you the wrong impression,” he began tentatively, and you bit your lip to stop yourself from chuckling at his delicacy, “I’m afraid my newest work is not of your likeness, though I would, of course, be honoured to someday paint you, if you’d allow me. It is only that I do my best work when somebody sits for me, you see, and I would hate nothing more than to do your beauty an injustice by simply attempting to recreate it from memory, rather than-”
He was rambling and hardly thinking about his words and they were still so utterly complimentary. It was too much, and you didn’t want to stop yourself. You shuffled over towards him on the sofa slightly to accommodate it, then reached out two careful hands to the sides of his face and simply held him. It stopped him in his tracks.
“Benedict?” you murmured softly, thumbing tiny brushstrokes onto his freckles. He stared, jaw a little slack, in response, hands stuck at his sides, “I was teasing. You make it rather easy for me, actually.”
He let out a breathy chuckle that sounded more strained than he had intended. Finally able to move again after the brief spell you had placed upon him, one hand circled your wrist in a cautious embrace.
“And you make everything very, very difficult,” he eventually whispered in return, though you knew he was simply trying to join in the teasing.
“You’d like me to stop, then?”
You knew the answer. He knew that you knew. It was clear in the way his eyes flickered across every feature of your face, in the way they bounced away quickly when he glanced downward. In the restraint that only showed in the tick at the back of his jaw.
“No, I don’t think that would do,” he admitted, hand sliding up, up, up your wrist and flattening itself against the back of your hand when you grinned. He leaned into it, “I should think, if it would make you happy, you could continue at least a little longer.”
There were words at the back of your throat that you might have swallowed down if it weren’t for the way he was looking at you and the fact he wouldn't allow you to pull your hands from his face. You looked down at your lap and spoke them.
“I would like to be in the business of doing things that make you happy, Benedict. If you’d let me.”
Like the restraint had snapped, just for a brief second, he turned his head and pressed a featherlight kiss to your palm. It had been so light you barely felt it, but your sharp inhaled gasp echoed in the space left between you. He smiled like he had done nothing of the sort.
“Only if I am allowed, by some miracle, to make you happy every day of our lives, from today on. Does that sound favourable, my love?”
The term of endearment was enough to break your own resolve. Using the hand that wasn’t caught in his, you lightly traced his brow bone, cheek bone, jaw bone, one finger sliding along the planes of his face to keep the sunlight from bursting out of your abdomen right there. His eyes were alight and the warmth found there was worth drowning in.
“Favourable indeed, Lord Bridgerton.”

Uhm uhm first off, thank you so much I can't rlly put into words how sweet this is and I totally don't mind the rambles because me too. And also because its been YEARS since I last used Tumblr or did anything answering Ask is a bit tough for me.. MmMM
Although I don't have many HC at the moment.. I can however give you a little insight I have regarding my Human DCA :]
Moondrop (Moon) and Sundrop
- when I first designed Moon (after the game came out) he had a much wilder look to him, especially the face because I was really into the idea of him being simply insane hence the red.
- later when i got back to his design and adding colours I thought that it would be fun to make it Blue and white themed, which I actually didn't see a lot back then
- he wasn't supposed to look human even as a Humanoid, I liked to think that Sun & Moon simply had a renovated body. They are just as much Animatronics as they had always been, robotic parts and everything but with a bit of twist
- So then onto Sun.. the thing is its sad to say but I never explored much with Sun's design back then as much as I did with Moon, so I can't provide a good reference
- although I had a rough idea of how sun would look like I never quite liked the way I drew him, so he's always somewhat been stuck in this unfinished stage
- Then there was eclipse, who was my absolute FAVORITE at that time, I don't think I loved a character MORE THAN ECLIPSE EVER when I was drawing him out
- yes!! It was very much inspired by the 3D render shown here as the ref, though I did make some changes of my own to the design as well
- I had a lot in my head when I was drawing him, but the one thing that I loved most about this design still to thisq day is rhe face. The way I him to look back then was sort of a mix between my Sun and Moon designs, only leaning more towards Sun in colours and Moon in appearance with the crazed look in his eyes
The height was just a funny little thing I thought of, cuz imagine this giant fkn ahh robot just comes in here and picks you up 💀 god I would piss myself

So in regards to the new design, I did kind of get rid of the animatronic feel to him that I had done with the DCA and his old design, all of them now look a whole lot more Human which is what I intended for
Eclipse has a few scars around his body; right forearm, left side of his torso that leads all the way up to his chest. Plus a bit of his face that is burnt which you can't exactly see because of the Black spots
Overall I like my newer designs quite a lot and has also changed a lot, this is probably the most insight you'll get out of me abt my art 😭😭 cuz I don't usually ramble this much otherwise
I might come up with some head canons at a later date, but they'll be fun thats for sure ;)

Also feel free to post your hsr hair thoughts bc i love to read your rambles as much as your fics! I'm looking forward to the jade one and him imitating floyd is really amusing. I like to think jade has a sort of pride about him where he loathes being compared to floyd but also jokes it off when someone does or when someone mistakes them, so i can imagine his pride and ego taking a hit but he endures it for sake of reader. Almost like he gets addicted to acting like floyd bc everyone likes floyd better anyways, right? So why not give the people what they want! He receives such a positive response when he acts like floyd that it rewires the hurt in his brain and suddenly the thing he hates is now cathartic for him but theres still that underlying hurt underneath >.<
BUT thats not why im here hehehe, for this weeks questionnnnn......
Who do you think would be the 'final girl' in a slasher film from each dorm? And then if u can, who do you think would be the ultimate survivor? You can optionally bestow the other titles; the virgin who lives but is hurt, the killer in hiding and the idiots who are the first to go, etc :D i read a yandere slasher fic here on tumblr where reader goes into a cabin with her friends and they get killed off one by one until the yandere presumably fucks reader and it has me back in my horror phase 😅 just pretend its Halloween in june, like xmas in july hahaha

It may be uncomfortable and it may chip away pieces of his pride as an individual, but you laugh at his jokes and look at him like he's the only one in your world. He'll do whatever he can just to receive a crumb of your affection, even if it's all meant to be reserved for Floyd. Aaaa I love writing this version of Jade!!!! He's just so interesting and obsessed!! orz
Ooooo final girls from each dorm!!! That's such a fun question. Here are my thoughts!!! ^w^
Heartslabyul's final girl would be Cater. He's so perfect for the final girl trope! You think he might die first because he's pretty and can't let go of his phone for the life of him, but when he gets serious he can be very cutthroat. <3 the idiotic duo would have to be Ace and Deuce. Deuce hears a strange noise and wants to check it out because he's definitely not scared of demons or killers and he'll beat up anything that tries to hurt him and his friends. Ace thinks he's trying to prank him, but he begrudgingly follows him, thinking it's either nothing and Deuce is trying to scare him or it'll just turn out to be something with a completely natural explanation. It's neither, and while they're both bickering the killer looms from behind. Riddle is the logical one who tries to put everything into perspective and figure out a logical reason behind everything. Trey is, unsurprisingly, the mom friend who just wants everyone to stay in one place because hopefully the authorities will show up soon (they never will).
Savanaclaw's final girl is Ruggie. He's resourceful and cunning; you think he may die first, but he's actually very good at survival. He'll live, but he comes out of the horrific night covered in blood after he's just fought the killer to the death. Jack is your typical jock, kind-hearted and caring, who doesn't believe in any of that ghost stuff or horror movie trope stuff, but when it becomes too real he gets even more serious than before, determined to survive and protect those close to him. Leona strikes me as the type who, upon the first sign of something suspicious or dangerous, promptly leaves. He will not be swept up in any murder plots, no thank you. <3 either that or he sleeps through it all and the killer thinks he's dead at first glance LOL.
Octavinelle's final girl would be Floyd. As goofy as he is, he's also another cutthroat guy who can and will survive. He may throw himself directly at danger, but somehow he always comes out of it alive. Jade is your typical killer-in-hiding. You won't suspect him until it's too late, and by then nearly half the cast is dead. Azul is the type who acts like an ally to everyone, but he's secretly either plotting with the killer or planning to sacrifice everyone in order to save himself.
Scarabia's final girl is Jamil. Most of his decisions are made solely to protect Kalim (who naturally is the comedic relief/carefree friend who is just too sweet for this world), but there's a build-up in this movie where the plot twist is that Jamil ultimately ends up tricking Kalim. Is it possible for both him and Jamil to survive? Perhaps, but this isn't that kind of movie. :) and from the bloodshed, Jamil emerges, alive, exhausted, and traumatized. (Or I could also see Jamil as a killer-in-hiding and Kalim as the final girl; it fits either way in my mind hehe!! :D)
Pomefiore's final girl is either Epel or Vil. It's hard to choose just one of them for the trope because I feel like it can fit them both in different ways. Rook is obviously the killer-in-hiding or he's just that really unnerving character who happens to know too much about how a killer thinks. >_< Vil as a final girl would be so cool because I think he can also be quite cutthroat. He's the character type who spends most of his focus on himself throughout the movie, yet he still manages to survive. How, you may ask? He weaponized various beauty products or, my most favorite idea, he fought the killer in heels and won, by which the heels absolutely became his weapon. >:) Epel as a final girl would be somewhat surprising because he's the character who no one really expects to live because he's "so petite and cute and omg how will he ever survive the big, scary killer!!!!" D: but then Epel shocks everyone when he ends up arming himself with brass knuckles or a baseball bat to go hunt down the killer himself.
Ignihyde's final girl is Idia, but then he also fits into the loser nerd category. Idia as a final girl is a little frustrating because he spends the entire movie being prideful and rude to the other characters, so everyone sort of wants him to be killed off first because he's so unlikable. But because Idia's seen all of these tropes before and knows his way around a horror movie, he ends up surviving. Ortho survives as well, but then I can also picture him being something of a sci-fi horror villain (i.e. technology becomes bad and targets humans). It's something like in book six where he was giving the students little tests in order to advance to the next level. Just a little villainous and devious!
Diasomnia's final girl is Silver. The stress of the situation manages to keep him awake, and so he's mainly in survival mode for the entirety of the film. Silver does his best to protect everyone, even putting himself at risk if it means he can save his friends. Sebek likely puts up a good fight, but he's far too stubborn and can't be quiet to save his life, so he ends up getting killed. I feel like Lilia could be a killer-in-hiding, or he's just the mischievous trickster type. Malleus could also be a killer-in-hiding, or he's the trope of "misunderstood character with a reputation that is solely rumors who turns out to be quite sweet and helpful to the main character."

Hi, I read your answer to that ask, describing what happened in season 2. Know that I completely respect that you don't like it (I loved it). But you have a few things wrong or don't know about them (maybe?).
So, Aziraphale is a landlord but he really doesn't care. He forgives Maggie 8 months of rent for a few records that are worth like 20 pounds. He's chill.
(Yeah Crowley throwing the books was a bit ooc but it was also hilarious, i laugh so hard when he did it a second time.)
I kind of agree with you on the Gabriel x Beelzebub, they were a bit cringe and quite sudden (I ship them in fanfic but they are meh in cannon). I thing their relationship was more about getting rid of Gabriel for plot reasons. So Aziraphale can be involved with the Second Coming.
As for the last 15 minutes of ep6. There is a LOT of things, of subtext and miscommunication and physical expressions and whatnot, between Aziraphale and Crowley as well as for the kiss. There were different things they were both thinking the other said and meant. I'm not good at analyzing shit, but if you scroll down the good omens tagg (if you wanna) there are amazing posts doing just that.
As for why this season feels different, and that they are "retconning" Aziraphales progres from the book and season 1, they aren't, really.
Season 2 is just a bridge between seasons 1 and 3. So don't worry, we will be probably getting the South Downs Cottage.
And Aziraphale did realise that Heaven the system is wrong. But he still has that idea ingrained in his mind that Heaven is good, God is good. That it could be good again, only if someone could change it from within. He was definitely manipulated by Metatron. He basically got pulled back into a toxic/abusive relationship by being given everything he though he wanted. It's complex and it's deep, and again, I'm not the best person to describe it (there are many great posts). I think it's similar to Zuko’s arc from ATLA season 3 and 4. Aziraphale has to see from within the toxicity and wrongness of Heaven. (at least this is kind of my theory, sorry for rambling)
Again, I completely understand and respect your dislike of the season. Different people like different things. I just don't want you to write the show off too hastily. I really hope I didn't came on too strong and rude (if I did, know it wasn't my intention, sorry).

I don't agree that "season 2 is just a bridge" because what happened this season didn't make them have no progression or stayed in the place at the end of season 1/the book -- it actively changed a lot of things. Like I said, a big one for me is Aziraphale and Crowley knowing each other as angels. That changed the beginning of the book and S1 and nothing they can do in season 3 is going to backtrack that. Getting the South Downs Cottage isn't really my ultimate goal -- I want the story, themes and vibe to feel really Good Omens, and this season just isn't doing it for me. Of course we may have different understandings of Good Omens, and I also respect that other people can have their own opinions. Thank you for understanding and respecting my dislike, you didn't come off as rude, but I'm just completely checked out now.

Well, we might not know what the rest of season 6 will bring but if it doesn’t come up in any of the other six episodes, I’d love to have Lucy and Tim talk about officially moving in together and then actually doing so. I know they’re practically living together already, but I’d love for them to maybe get their own new place together? Get a whole new apartment/house that’s theirs. Honestly, just gimme all the cutesy domestic moments they can fit in because I’m a sucker for that - what else is new? But also, please let them keep working on properly communicating with one another even if it’s hard because no relationship can survive without good communication.
And, you know, if they're feeling like it, I would also not say no to a proposal.
I WANNA KNOW BABY GIRL EVERS’ NAME FFS. Obviously I’m most invested in Chenford, but it’s driving me insane that we’re 4 eps in, and still don’t know her name. Speaking of kids, I’d love to see more of all the kids Lopez and Harper have. Get rid of some of the unnecessary Bailan domesticity crap and gimme any of the other couples instead.
Speaking of Bailey.. I’m not a hater, also not exactly a fan, but can we get her in a storyline that doesn’t involve Nolan in some way? I think if she were to interact more with the other characters, we as the audience could potentially get more involved with her character. She’s basically tied to Nolan, and sometimes it feels like a disservice to everyone (including Jenna as an actress) to limit her interactions to basically just him and quick two-sentence exchanges thrown in every 20 eps like with Lucy in 6x04.
I know it’ll never happen, but I would love to see Chenford babysitting either Jack and his baby sister or baby Leah because we know they’d just.. well, maybe not suck at it but they’d likely struggle and lose a kid or two lol and it’d just be so much fun to watch.
I also gotta broach the sensitive topic.. I’ve been hoping for Lucy to do a long-term UC op practically since I started watching the show and even more so since Chenford became canon simply because I want to see how she would handle not being able to contact anyone she cares about. Give her a handler that’s not Tim, not Harper, not anyone she’s familiar with so she can experience what it would be like to be completely cut off from her life and the people she loves. Maybe I’m understanding her desire to be a deep cover UC officer and she’d flourish under those circumstances, but I think if she experienced an op without any of her friends (or her boyfriend) as her handler/back up, she’d have a better idea of what her life would really look like if she chose that path. She’s a people person, and I personally don’t think she’d like it as much as I think she wants to like it. (6x02 hinted at her not being as fine about it as she claims to be, and I hope we get to see more of the topic.) If not that, I’d also just like to see an op gone wrong. They’ve all been fairly straight forward without any kind of consequences even after her cover had been blown, and I’d be very interested in seeing something just not go as smoothly. Also, Lucy could do ANY job within the LAPD and absolutely kick ass. Where are all the departments wanting her on their team that the cop offering her that spot at UC school talked about?? Where?! WHERE?!?
I’m rambling now, great. Okay, I’m gonna stop here. I may have missed some obvious wishes here but for now these are some I could think of right off the bat.
Oh oh oh! Lucy’s called Tim babe before, can we get Tim calling Lucy by a pet name? Pretty pleaseeeee 🥺 and last but not least, give us Kojo back. And bring Genny.
