Three ships: oooof. Okay. KimChay, obviously, from KinnPorsche. SamMon from Gap the Series (which I hope to start writing about? Someday? I want lesbians.) Annddddd let's go classic; Megstiel from Supernatural.

First ever ship: Probably Kaiba/Yami from YuGiOh. No shame in admitting that because a young Dawn was and still is, a Kaiba fan. No matter how fucked up he is.

Last song: I've been listening to Linkin Park's early albums again. I just really miss Chester (which makes no sense... because I never saw him or LP live.) Forgotten is my favorite Linkin Park song right now.

Last movie: Uhhhh haha. I saw a documentary about the Ruby Ridge Siege for research. I don't watch many movies, and I feel like any time I answer this, I give increasingly bizarre answers.

Currently reading: I reread @emberfaye's KimChay fic three times today. I'm not manic or anything, I just think everyone should read tenta-KimChay.

Currently watching: The only thing I'm watching is Gap the Series with Shou. I am patiently waiting for them to come home so we can keep watching.

Currently consuming: Water.

Currently craving: An orgasm a sense of purpose I could really go for a cheeseburger tbh.

I haven’t seen a similar post on tumblr, but here’s a few places to donate money and find means to support those in Palestine-

Pious Project provides menstrual care kits as well as soap, shampoo, disinfectants, etc

Gaza Esims lets you donate Esims- these are used to connect to the internet and keep communication going in and out of the country

Operation Olive Branch is a spreadsheet of Gofundmes for families seeking funds to flee the country, each having a link to sponsor them

Here's a reading list from Decolonize Palestine

Stop Gaza Genocide is a google doc that is constantly updated, which includes how to contact representatives, how to protest, and various activist resources (US centric)

Samidoun provides a constantly updating calendar of protests, and you can submit ones not listed if there’s a protest happening near you (Global)

UNRWA and Care for Gaza are orgs that directly provide general aid and food

Lastly, while not inherently about Palestine, I do want to encourage everyone reading this that If you see a post regarding Palestine- a video, a photo, a livestream, a text post- Archive it with the Wayback Machine. When digital information is prone to deletion and censorship, we cannot afford to lose something as valuable as knowledge.

you're going about your normal day when, suddenly, surprise! you've been pokémon mystery dungeon'd!

unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the pokémon assigning quiz has been canceled. instead, you must spin THE WHEEL, assigning you a random, unevolved, non-legendary and non-mythical pokémon. you must now go on some sort of world-saving adventure as this pokémon. good luck!

tell me in the tags what you rolled, and how you feel about it - for bonus points, you can spin the wheel again for (or just take your pick of) a pokémon to be your partner.

bonus rules:

you're not shiny unless the wheel tells you you're shiny

take your pick of regional forms and evolutions (for example, if you roll vulpix, it's up to you whether that means normal or alolan vulpix)

apply whatever logic you like with regards to gender

have fun and be yourself!

I can’t do that; which is why I’m asking you to.#also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isn’t ‘shopped #it’s the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially #the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm #which normally wouldn’t be possible if backlit by the SUN; you’d see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water #as light sources ‘compete’ in a sense - and since there aren’t any light sources which can outshine the literal sun #it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is what’s essentially happening here #I don’t know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances #also: it’s been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential #so it’s not like it’s a fresh and untouched export #but the kind of ‘tacked on’ appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image

Studying linguistics is actually so wonderful because when you explain youth slang to older professors, instead of complaining about how "your generation can't speak right/ you're butchering the language" they light up and go “really? That’s so wonderful! What an innovative construction! Isn't language wonderful?"

Spider-Man: *starts flattening it out and shaping it*

Spider-Man: See, we all know that I’m crazy strong, but I never wanna really hurt anybody right? Right. While that hasn’t changed, something very important does right around this time of year.

Spider-Man: *pulls off a glove and pulls a chunk into a long stem with his nails carving lines for added texture*

Spider-Man: See, this is what we like to call exam season. Anybody who knows anything about college can tell you that it drives people up the wall, and I already climb mine when I’m antsy.

Spider-Man: *starts winding the thin sheet around the stem, delicately crimping petals in place*

Spider-Man: I do wanna be clear that this isn’t a threat, okay? I’m still not interested in crossing the line, which brings me to my point.

Spider-Man: *throws the titanium rose at the brick wall behind him, stem first, and embeds it all the way through*

Spider-Man: /That/ was restrained because I could focus enough to have full control. If I’m extremely tired or otherwise distracted, there’s just as much risk of me slipping up as someone operating heavy machinery. I’m probably not going to remember what sleep is for two whole months, so remember!
