This song is hypnotic. 3/4 time signature; jazz-infused; polyphonic elements; mesmeric vocal display from the glissandos to the harmonies; the nuances in her phrasing and vibrato; the overall rich, dreamy timbre that makes you feel like you're floating if you close your eyes while listening. The way the MF bass and drums are talking as the delicate keys slip in like raindrops. I'm not really a chart person, but why TF is this not #1? This song would need to sit there for weeks. It's a perfect record. I need to see her perform this in person because I already know it would turn into a jam session.

I'm enjoying her evolution as an artist and she's had my heart since she was whipping her hair back and forth at 10 years old. If you're into contemporary, fusion, or avant-garde pop jazz then this is the song for you.

As a metalhead, it's a possibility that Willow Smith is my greatest guilty pleasure. Not only is she a pop artist, not only is she a nepo baby, but she's the daughter of goddamn Will Smith.

Regardless, she has an excellent voice and her singing is pretty complex and oddball in comparison to most top 40 pop. This song in particular has an excellent instrumental which elevates it. I don't have a lot of the words to properly analyze pop, but I just love this.
