Deltarune; Neurodivergent HC

requested by @pulsar-ray (sorry its late /g)

characters: spampton, swatch and tasque manager

Spampton

Dysgraphia and Dyslexia majorly struggles with writing numbers and letters often written backwards never consistent with sizing and lines always curve random or misplaced capitalization uses the trick of writing a line under 6 or 9 to indicate which is which but still mixes it up at times only left and right trick that words is the "lefty loosey, righty tighty" rhyme, the L hand trick doesnt work for him will mix up words that are very similar uses numbers for letters both cuz cool typing quirk and mixes them up (3 and E, B and 8 etc)

Meares-Irlen Syndrome. wears glasses to help with his sight struggles reading large blocks of text as they look like patterned lines and can cause headaches very light sensitive very different prescriptions in each eye including slight colour distortion has trouble with distance, depth perception and hand-eye coordination frequent headaches

Autistic-Spec/ASD might have autistic spectrum disorder? definitely has a range of the symptoms and traits.

Swatch

ASD definitely on the autistic spectrum. hates the use of "functioning" labels. has a sound sensitivity and prefers being indoors in the city to avoid the loud city noise. loves organizing and categorizing things by colour. delayed verbal responses

Dyscalculia Can count just fine for the most part but begins to struggle with larger numbers. Has difficulty reading strings of numbers verbal and visual math equations? not near this one. does however count money just fine. struggles with subtraction and counting backwards from high numbers can be very slow when anything involves numbers at times due to things taking a little extra time to process for him.

Dyspraxia never ask him to catch something, literally cannot, will drop it, it will fall and break if breakable. delayed physical reactions, tends to be off balance and will stumble and likely fail to catch himself if he jumps. the person who trips over themself when running, probably done so a lot as a kid and prefers just walking and keeping movements small and in one place. does bump into things sometimes, especially bumps into the wall when turning a corner but usually only when hes not fully focused on where hes going.

Synesthesia every single colour has its own flavour and sound and/or smell shapes have specific colours and sounds to them isnt sure how to describe it but can point it out sometimes will say something like "this colour sounds high pitched" or "this shape has a smooth feel"

Tasque Manager

ADHD misplaces things hyperfocused on one thing at a time but will attempt to multi-task lots of movement, even when in idle mode she is never perfectly still despite popular belief, concentrates just fine on tasks, she just cant multi-task very well, can only handle a few things at a time and likely will become side tracked but still makes progress on tasks. tries a lot to schedule herself and stick to a list of tasks, swatch more often than not helps her out with this.

Hyperlexia very fast reader often helps swatch with number related issues always has a word for something very good memory when it comes to numbers and words, possibly includes a photographic memory and/or "dictionary-like" memory. MUCH better at writing/typing out things than verbal communication. tends to repeat specific words, mostly when speaking but not entirely in a "stumbling over the word" kind of way probably has a book collection stored somewhere. yes swatch organized the books for her.

Synesthesia different colours emulate a taste or smell to her certain textures and flavours have a colour to her different sounds have different shapes and colours to them she can get very descriptive about it at times if youre curious. it goes on.

also i love this question, even if i haven't put too much thought in it lol. truthfully i'd like for readers to interpret them however they like, and i'd love to hear interpretations! gender is so vast in the dark world (with characters like seam using no pronouns and swatch confirmed using they/he also in the sweepstakes) and i love it

the adds prioritize their business and sales above relationships in general, but then again i'd feel like they think they're fun

concept: a shipping template but specifically for spamton x self inserts/ocs (or canon ig) so its like a mix of a typical shipping chart and that one template where you draw and explain your spamton design (i do not have it on hand but yknow what i mean right??)

and so its got normal shipping stuff and then stuff unique to spamton/the dr universe, like how did they first feel abt each other and then have they ever seen him neo? has he ever tried/wanted to steal their soul? are they a lightner or darkner, what species? if darkner, whats their light world equivalent? what does their soul look like, what does spams heart look like? how good are they at interpreting his vocal glitches? is their relationship/lore more fluffy or angsty? did they meet him in his addispam, big shot, or dumpster stage? whos taller and by how much?

i feel like this could have a lot of potential But i am not good at graphic design so i will not be the one to make it </3

portraits of the vatore siblings [in-game wall art]

I'm having a lot of fun putting the Vatores in period clothes, so I made some renders of them dressed up in 1890s-1940s clothing and threw them into that big frame from Vampires.

This was a pretty big project: 3 cc wall art pieces covering 6 decades of fashion with 12 separate outfits, which resulted in 18 individual renders and 144 total swatches. Also, the frame itself is huge. I prefer them sized down (shift + [ in buy mode) but they are 100% the type to own larger-than-life portraits of themselves.

My hc is that the Vatores were born in the late 1930s/early 1940s, so imo they aren't actually old enough to have worn any of these clothes when they were first in style. I think they dressed up like it’s old times and took a buncha pictures just to confuse people trying to figure out how old they really are. Sibling bonding!

One of Nico’s subtle character habits that I love is he has a very clear fixation on people’s eyes. It’s like the number one thing he tends to describe about people. He knows everybody’s eye colors and will compare them in his head like paint swatches (ex: Comparing Bryce Lawrence’s eyes to Percy’s). He has such specific similes for everybody’s eyes too (again, Bryce Lawrence, comparing his eyes to pond scum).

I totally hc it’s related to his autism, and he’s using the autism “i cant handle eye contact” hack of “if i space out juuuuust enough and focus on trying to figure out what their eyes look like, i can forget we’re making eye contact.” So in just every conversation he spends half of it trying to figure out their eye color. Sometimes this results in him accidentally staring very intensely at someone but it’s fine.

Anyways I just love it and it’s a very underappreciated little quirk about him. Give me Nico rambling about comparing his friend’s eye colors and using incredibly detailed descriptions about them. Could he describe the rest of their face? no. Their eye colors? yes. And he will do so in extreme specificity.

Sims 4 CC Update: Clone Tattoos and other essential details

Hey, I get it, you want your clones to look like clones.

You might need a ridiculous, yet iconic goatee to complement the least subtle tattoo ever.

Or perhaps you have a HC that Echo has a handprint tattoo on his chest.

Maybe you need hair that can only rival Keeli's when it comes to forcing your brothers to help shave your head every four days.

Or an intricate wraparound head tattoo that took a lot of scowling and staring at screenshots from Umbara to get right back before I used blender for this sort of thing.

Maybe a certain medic needs to encounter the waking nightmare that is these two becoming bffs in spite of Hevy having a short fuse and Hardcase letting off an airhorn next to his ear.

Canon spared Kix of this fate, but at what cost?

Did Cody's scar change over the years? Yes it did, so there are two swatches for you to choose from.

Does Rex have an incredibly subtle scar on his chin? Yes.

Should I have remembered that he probably has a large scar on his chest instead of making his barely noticeable chin scar? Has this post used an inappropriate number of question marks?

Ghoul HC - Dewdrop (favorite hobby)

Dew is the resident cross stitcher / embroiderer, It started when he made his battle jacket, there were some small gaps between some of the patches that he wasn’t happy with so he made some of his own mini patches and embroidered some upside down crosses in the left over space, not long after that he went to cumulus to a ee where to get materials from ( the trip to Michaels that followed was absolutely insane and hasn't been one upped since then ) cumulus taught him how to use some of her gauge swatches for cross stitching which lead to several patchwork blankets that dew refers to as the battle blankets because he thinks they look like battle jackets

So when the band is home from, it can be a bit difficult to just "run into town" to grab things when needed. The abbey is located in a place that's a little inaccessible (on purpose, for privacy sake), so things have to be ordered in ahead of time, and often it's essentials only.

The ghoulettes and Rain stock up on makeup, skin care, and other luxuries while on tour. However, they're in between tours, in between albums. They're not going anywhere for awhile and their stockpile is running low.

Mountain takes it upon himself to experiment and create his own cosmetics for Rain and the girls. He already makes candles for them with wax from his beehives and oils distilled from his herbs. Makeup can't be that hard right?

Turns out he's quite the chemist, and the fact that he's creating his own makeup becomes a closely guarded secret in the pack (although....Papa does know too). They don't want siblings of sin banging down the door looking for cosmetics and skincare products.

Mountain, because he's Mountain and can't deny Rain and the girls anything, has separate product lines for every single one of them depending on their needs and desires.

-eating the garnish-

"Mountain making make-up" is quite the tongue twister.

He'd probably get pretty good at determining the quality of products over time because of that/be a bit more aware of which items would look best on each person.

He's trying out a gloss he made on Rain and he's like, "Okay, but maybe a peachier undertone..."

Aurora wants the brightest colors imaginable, so Mountain is in his workshop figuring out how to make something really pop, and Cirrus wants something more neutral...

He uses Dew as his test subject, so sometimes he's, like, coated in cosmetics and swatches, and when people ask why Mountain is treating him like a guinea pig, he's like, "He ate the first batch."

He doesn't elaborate.

Dew has biodegradable glitter covering pretty much every inch of his body by the time tour comes along again, and that's when Mountain reveals Cumulus asked him to try making bath bombs...
