I LOVE art/ideas of Kris and Noelle being "family friends." While their parents are having a get-together in the living room, Kris and Noelle sit quietly in an unused guest bedroom. Maybe watching cartoons, maybe sitting on the floor doing nothing. "We're going to the Dreemurr's today for a bit. You're friends with Kris, you can play together." "The Holidays are coming over for a bit today, Kris. You like Noelle, right? Maybe you two can play a game together." Like sure they're friendly and don't hate each other but they probably wouldn't hang out if their parents weren't friends. I just think that fits them so well

(be warned I haven't watched a playthrough in a while so some in-game stuff might go against this stuff but yeah I just.like this idea )

It the Spooky month.

Have some HCs abt Halloween

TEAM FORTRESS 2:

Heavy, Sniper and Spy aren't very fond of Halloween but do enjoy seeing the others enjoy it.

Pyro definitely has a unicorn costume each year.

Scout would probably either dress up as famous baseballs peeps, that one guy that he idolizes or dresses up as the most stupidest thing possible. (Example: a wine bottle [PLEASE SOMEONE GET THIS REFERENCE-])

Engie or Medic definitely manages to find everyone some sort of costume with the help of Spy.

Soldier would give raccoons raccoon-safe candy

Soldier would definitely be something America related.

Demo would surprisingly be the one who enjoys Halloween the most.. Well, before medic.

Medic. Ooo boy Medic. Do not trust this man with picking out your outfit without supervision.

I invision that the reds and the blus had a truce once, big Halloween party. Chaos occurred.

MANDELA CATALOGUE:

David. Goober. He would definitely have streber from spooky month type of dedication for Halloween.

Thatcher was dragged into Dave's Halloween shenanigans at least twice.

Jonah definitely was a chip bag or a box once.

Sarah and Evelin definitely twined once.

Mark and Sarah also definitely twined as well.

Cesar probably worked day and night to make his costume <- insert Mark probably making sure he's okay at school lol.

OMORI:

Hero probably likes getting Halloween photos from his family and friends whenever he's at college during Halloween. (Which is probably 90% of the time?)

Sunny and Mari used to dress up Mewo in very cute and goofy cat costumes.

I see Kel doing that to Hector too

Basil got convinced to match with Kel once. Not sure how that would go.

UNDERTALE:

We all know sans would definitely put no work on his costume.

Frisk, Due to probably the Player's influence, would be SO MANY CHARACTERS THAT NO ONE REALLY KNOWS IN THEIR WORLD (Example; Gaster, Mario, OMORI, ect)

Burgerpants would enjoy seeing all the little kids having fun, probably missing being a kid lol.

MTT would drag at least SOMEONE into bring material girls with him

DELTARUNE:

Berdly probably handcrafts all his costumes, if after the neutral ending, he would hesitantly ask for help from either his family or friends. (I like neutral ending Berdly- dunno why-)

SCC definitely triplet-ted multiple times.

Queen would be any meme B)

Susie was definitely a box for Halloween once (I think I remember her saying smth like that but am not sure)

Ralsei would also handcraft his costumes lol

Deltarune; Neurodivergent HC

characters: spampton, swatch and tasque manager

Spampton

Dysgraphia and Dyslexia majorly struggles with writing numbers and letters often written backwards never consistent with sizing and lines always curve random or misplaced capitalization uses the trick of writing a line under 6 or 9 to indicate which is which but still mixes it up at times only left and right trick that words is the "lefty loosey, righty tighty" rhyme, the L hand trick doesnt work for him will mix up words that are very similar uses numbers for letters both cuz cool typing quirk and mixes them up (3 and E, B and 8 etc)

Meares-Irlen Syndrome. wears glasses to help with his sight struggles reading large blocks of text as they look like patterned lines and can cause headaches very light sensitive very different prescriptions in each eye including slight colour distortion has trouble with distance, depth perception and hand-eye coordination frequent headaches

Autistic-Spec/ASD might have autistic spectrum disorder? definitely has a range of the symptoms and traits.

Swatch

ASD definitely on the autistic spectrum. hates the use of "functioning" labels. has a sound sensitivity and prefers being indoors in the city to avoid the loud city noise. loves organizing and categorizing things by colour. delayed verbal responses

Dyscalculia Can count just fine for the most part but begins to struggle with larger numbers. Has difficulty reading strings of numbers verbal and visual math equations? not near this one. does however count money just fine. struggles with subtraction and counting backwards from high numbers can be very slow when anything involves numbers at times due to things taking a little extra time to process for him.

Dyspraxia never ask him to catch something, literally cannot, will drop it, it will fall and break if breakable. delayed physical reactions, tends to be off balance and will stumble and likely fail to catch himself if he jumps. the person who trips over themself when running, probably done so a lot as a kid and prefers just walking and keeping movements small and in one place. does bump into things sometimes, especially bumps into the wall when turning a corner but usually only when hes not fully focused on where hes going.

Synesthesia every single colour has its own flavour and sound and/or smell shapes have specific colours and sounds to them isnt sure how to describe it but can point it out sometimes will say something like "this colour sounds high pitched" or "this shape has a smooth feel"

Tasque Manager

ADHD misplaces things hyperfocused on one thing at a time but will attempt to multi-task lots of movement, even when in idle mode she is never perfectly still despite popular belief, concentrates just fine on tasks, she just cant multi-task very well, can only handle a few things at a time and likely will become side tracked but still makes progress on tasks. tries a lot to schedule herself and stick to a list of tasks, swatch more often than not helps her out with this.

Hyperlexia very fast reader often helps swatch with number related issues always has a word for something very good memory when it comes to numbers and words, possibly includes a photographic memory and/or "dictionary-like" memory. MUCH better at writing/typing out things than verbal communication. tends to repeat specific words, mostly when speaking but not entirely in a "stumbling over the word" kind of way probably has a book collection stored somewhere. yes swatch organized the books for her.

Synesthesia different colours emulate a taste or smell to her certain textures and flavours have a colour to her different sounds have different shapes and colours to them she can get very descriptive about it at times if youre curious. it goes on.

my favorite deltarune hc I came up with, is that the one asking for help is the disregarded vessel

I know some think it’s Kris, but I like the idea that the vessel still exists in the code, in a limbo and they can only scream out for help hoping their voice lands somewhere in game. Idk I just really like the idea of the vessel coming back. Maybe they be Kris’s way out.

It’s not a fetish AU, just a dumb parody I’ve been thinking about. I’ve always kinda headcanoned them to be a little chubby, because the player’s always making them eat during battles, and also because it’s kinda implied how much Kris likes Toriel’s cinnamon-butterscotch pie (Dude, they deadass tear their soul out, whip out a knife and go Genocide Chara mode over Toriel’s pie shfjwjekaowkfjzbdkla). I might post some examples of this AU later so you can judge fairly. So should I make this AU or go cry in a corner?

deltarune pain and seizure, but it's you playing for hours, only for you to meet requirements for a secret rout the game doesn't really tell you about.

the game fakes a crash, and a deleting of your save files at the final boss, like the earthbound piracy prevention. it plays it entirely straight that your save file is gone, and that you have to start from the beginning, except for things like kris not reacting to things, and any time you click something it's just a blank text box with a little sound.

as soon as you get to the dark world, instead it's glitch city, or seemingly unfinished, yet everything is playing out like it's normal. like this is how the game is supposed to be.

any time you exit out of dialog, kris turns to the 4th wall like "help". sooner or later, susie gets pissed and ask "what the hell are you looking at?!" but doesn't get a response, and then she's on edge.

give her a shadow crystal, and she'll relies the world is falling apart.

also just, take any typical 2d rpg game glitches and shove that in here. make it an au or something. have ppl walk through walls, or in this case, above everything like it's a road rug. have their be a hoard of kris mirroring the players move. messed up, nonsensical dialog boxes. bad or wrong pallet calls. excessive amounts of items. sprites turning into other sprites when they walk.

at the end, the only thing that works is the cell phone. using it, someone tries to help you by giving hints. they tell you to use the shadow crystals, and hope for the best. occasionally they might be more helpful, but otherwise they're their more to comfort kris, rather than to be of help to the player.

eeeehhhhhh call it glitch route, idk. i was just thinkin. pain and seizure could be anything. but whatever it is, i want it to hurt.

Deltarune Stim HC

Spamton

Physical:

head tilting moves his head around. side to side, back and forth esp moves his head around as a way to express and stim while he talks

impatient hands flapping, tapping his sides, fidgeting his hands are always busy in some way

foot tappies kicking his feet or otherwise just tapping them while he's sitting/standing in place

vocal:

electrical noises makes occasional noises that mimic electrical appliances beeping, clicking, whirring, static etc could be boredom, could be out of nervous habit or other usually does it while talking but can do it to fill silence

echo repeats words at the ends of his sentences sometimes occasional repetition of phrases he's heard.

audio:

static likes listening to static and/or white noises finds it brain scratchy

dial up constantly has the dial up tone on brain loves listening to it and stimming to it

visual:

white noise tv static/snow is very calming to watch for him

colour changer loes colour changing lights esp stuff like christmas lights as long as the lights arent flickering, flashy or otherwise quickly changing colours and too bright. esp if its slow patterns thats very calming def. enjoys lights from signs around the city

Swatch

physical:

marching in place sort of just moves his legs and walks without actually going anywhere boredom stim kinda like an idle animation in a title screen/character select when youre viewing the characters animations sometimes its just his feet not his entire legs doing the movement

swaying shifts his weight from one leg to the other sorta looks like hes swaying from side to side when he does this more so a vervy common stim while waiting rather than just a boredom stim

taps taps whatevers in his hand agaisnt stuff lightly tapping his fingers on a pen or tapping the pen on a surface etc

visual:

colour shifter loves watching anything that changes colours will not look directly at the lights but loves watching the colours change gradient gifs. just that.

vocal:

humming mindless humming a near constant stim usually a jingle of some kind

Tasque Manager

Physical:

swaying shifting her weight from one leg to the other purposefully swaying from side to side as a stim usually either an impatient or happy stim

wrist flick sorta flicks and flaps her wrists about while talking or sorta like an idle animation type of stim developed it as a habit with her whip

vocal:

huff huffy sighs not upset or anything just huffs for the sake of stimming

mew says "mew/meow" and makes cat noises as a stim either happy, casual while talking, or filling the silence sort of stims

squeek makes squeak noises similar to the mew stim

The Addisons

i feel like they all share stims so heres some general ideas:

flick hair flick, wrist flick

echo repeats noises/sounds/words/phrases they hear often mimics phone sounds will bounce echoes around each other like theyre locked in a loud telephone game

toe tap will tap the toe of their shoes behind them maybe switching from foot to foot could be boredom or impatience, nervousness or discomfort

hops very excited sort of stim does little hops doesnt last very long just a short hop of expression of their glee

Ralsei

physical:

rocking will rock side to side when happy or waiting rocks back and forth when nervous

finger pokes shy, nervous or embarrassed stim of poking his fingers together either while talking or of he wants to ask something

hand flaps happy hand flappies

fidgeting playing with his scarf or the hem of his sleeves/robe for any reason at all

vocal:

pop bored "pop" stim

baa sheep noise stim or baby goat yelling also for any reason

humming humming anything hums while doing something or to fill the silence usually a happy stim

visual:

sparkles loves shiny/sparkly things watching them is distracting but stimulating straight up mesmerised by this stuff
