pairing: sunghoon x gn!reader genre: fluff word count: 797

a/n: this was supposed to be a short drabble about stealing hoon's hoodie lmao and this was created because i read a hoon hurt comfort and it hurt my feelings /hj

in hindsight, maybe leaving your jacket at home was a bad idea. you can almost hear sunghoon's voice in your head, lecturing you about how he told you to bring one. you debate telling him that the admittedly light breeze feels like it's hitting your bones but you choose your pride instead and continue to brave the night despite your incessant shivering.

the carnival is winding down, most families leaving after the sun begins to set. the lights shine brighter in the darkness, creating a beautiful atmosphere. you walk through the different games and food vendors before finally deciding to ride the ferris wheel. it's the only attraction they have set up and you paid to get in, so you might as well get your money's worth.

you make your way back over to where you last saw sunghoon, sitting at a table with a cup of soda and teasing the boy's for being bad at the rigged games. "hoon, will you ride the ferris wheel with me?"

"that's a little cliché," he teases, but stands up to follow you anyways. you grab his hand as he leads you over to a trash can to throw the drink out before following you to the ride. "is the line long?"

"no, i think most people have already gone." sunghoon hums, pulling you closer.

you stand in line for a few minutes before you're called to go next. the metal seat is cold and uncomfortable despite being ridden countless times. it moves slowly as it brings you to the top, pausing so everyone can have a turn looking out at the view.

when it stops for your turn, you have to admit that it is as pretty as they say. the sparkling lights create a rainbow of color across the parking lot. above you, a few stars begin to shine through.

"wow," sunghoon murmurs next to you.

"it's nice up here." sunghoon reaches out, grabbing your chin and turning you to face him. he stares into your eyes for a couple seconds as he leans closer.

"you're cold," he whispers. he shrugs his jacket off before you can stop him, laying it over your shoulders.

"thank you." sunghoon wraps an arm around your waist, pulling your body into his. he presses a kiss to the top of your head as the ride begins to descend.

sunghoon grabs your hand again as you exit the ride. silently, he pulls out his phone and sends a few texts.

"they're letting me stay over at your place tonight, if that's okay with you."

"of course it is."

"do you want to leave now or have you already seen everything?"

"we should get home. i need to feed salem." sunghoon nods, letting you guide him to where you parked your car.

the drive home feels faster than usual. then again, everything with sunghoon feels faster than usual. like you're so focused on the boy beside you that you forget about your project due tomorrow or that test that you need to study for.

salem greets you with his usual meows, eager for his dinner. sunghoon kneels down to pet him a few times as you prepare his food.

"i can take the couch if you want."

"no, it's okay. you're a dancer, i don't want you to hurt your back."

"y/n, it's your apartment, i'm not letting you sleep on the couch."

"we can share the bed." you almost miss the way sunghoon's face flushes for a few seconds before he nods. "you can change in the bathroom, i'll go after you." he nods, grabbing his bag and making his way into your bathroom.

you decide to do your skincare routines together, though the single sink makes it a little more cramped than you're used to. once you're fully prepared for bed, you lay down opposite to sunghoon. the drama you put on an hour ago serves as background noise as you find yourself much more interested in the boy next to you. he shifts so he's facing you, smirking. "like what you see?"

"maybe i do." your words shock both of you for a few seconds before sunghoon laughs. you find yourself almost entranced by him as he moves closer to you. his hand cups your haw, thumb gently stroking against your cheek.

"y/n," he whispers. "can i kiss you?"

it feels like the world stops in that moment. your eyes fall from his to his lips. you've thought about kissing him before but you never thought it would actually happen. you choose not to verbally answer, instead leaning in and pressing your lips against his. when you pull away, sunghoon smiles. his hand still rests on your cheek as you shift closer to him. "be mine?"

"i'm already yours."

pins you against a wall

oh, he's definitely aware of the effect he has on you. because if he wasn't aware, then your back wouldn't be pressed against the wall, your palms wouldn't be sweaty and your warm face wouldn't be buried in them. and you most definitely wouldn't be glued to the spot you had been standing in for the past few seconds- completely unable to move.

this is like the 10th time heeseung has done it this week. whenever you walk past him he gently pushes you against the wall so your back is pressed against it, he rests his palm right above your head, his other hand holding the both of yours so you don't cover your pretty face from his sharp eyes. a smile tugs at the corners of his lips as he feels you tense up under his touch. and even though he has done this a million times before, your eyes still widen, your lips still part lightly as you swallow dry, you still can't look at him properly, and he can still hear your heart skip a beat. and for the very first time, he can't resist the cute look on your face. the palm pressed against the wall is now replaced with his forearm as he leans closer toward your face, he tilts his head and watches your eyes flutter shut at the close proximity. at this point, he can feel your warm rigid breaths hit his skin. his lips graze over yours, but they don't meet. he slowly pulls away completely, and when the feeling of his hand holding the two of yours disappears you know that he just walked away and left you all flustered with your heart thumping against your rib cage, butterflies roaming your stomach, and the feeling of his lips grazing over yours still lingering.

this is the 11th time heeseung has pressed you against the wall this week. he's definitely aware of your little crush on him... expect him to do it again soon! maybe leaving a quick little kiss next time.

holds/touches ur waist

whether you're home alone or in public in front of thousands of people, you will always somehow find jay's arms wrapped around your waist. his palm rests against the small of your back as he lightly guides your body away from the crowded place you were passing by. when you're doing something and paying him no mind he quietly sneaks up on you and snakes his arms around your waist, embracing you in a quick little hug. when he has just washed his hands with cold water, he catches you off guard by putting his ice-cold hands around your waist and pressing his arms on your stomach to startle you.

but the thing that erupts the most butterflies in your stomach is how his hands always manage to find their way toward your waist when he pulls you in for a kiss. he wraps his arms around you, resting his hands on your hips before they gently move further behind and his fingers interlock behind the small of your back. he gently rubs his thumbs on your skin as he deepens the sweet kiss, not stopping to catch his breath for even a second.

jake treats you like his royalty, you are his prince/princess/princex and he'll make sure you get the treatment you deserve!

the feeling of your fingers gently resting atop his palm as he leans closer to your hand and kisses the back of it feels so elegant yet playful and innocent. you can feel his warm breath hit your knuckles and his lips come in contact with your hand. but he doesn't stop there, because he wouldn't be sim jaeyun if he didn't spice it up a little! he looks up at you mischievously and you know exactly what he's about to do. he has done this a million times before, yet it still elicits a warmhearted chuckle from you. his lips move from the back of your hand further up your arm slowly and once he reaches your shoulder he leaves a quick peck before resting his chin and looking into your eyes adoringly. and when you turn your head to look at him, he pecks your shoulder again- never taking his eyes off you. you feel the fuzzy feeling in your heart which spreads throughout your entire body and you can't help the fond smile that makes its way onto your lips as you watch him leave short pecks down your arm again before raising his head and giggling, his laugh warming your heart even more.

☆ — PARK SUNGHOON

kisses your tears away

sure, sunghoon loves teasing you. yes, he is highly playful and endearingly annoying most of the time. but his demeanor changes the second he hears you sniffle. he would put you before anything, even himself, you're his everything. seeing you cry is like watching the entire world shatter and fall apart. he's happy when you're happy, he's smiling when you're smiling, and his heart aches when yours aches.

when he sees your figure shake lightly as you hiccup and quickly wipe your tears, he's instantly by your side, rushing to cup your face in his hands. you look into his eyes and you notice the way his pupils slightly quiver at the sight of you. you want to tell him you're going to be fine, that you're alright, but before you can manage to muster up a sentence he leans even closer towards you, inspecting your tearstained cheeks with a slight frown on his face. the words you had chosen to say to him disappear before they're even said and your breath hitches at how close he is. you can't stand looking him in the eye, because you know that if you don't look away you won't be able to stop the tears that are welling up. so you break your eyes away from his, the feeling of the pads of his warm fingers brushing over the dried tears on your eyelids bringing you comfort. you feel him whisper your name against your lips and you instinctively glance into his eyes. and as expected, at the sight of his eyes full of love and adoration, you sob and let the tears escape as they roll down your cheeks once more- the feeling of sadness, frustration but also pure love towards sunghoon all mix in one overwhelming urge to just let it all out. sunghoon shushes you, his warm lips meeting your cold tears as they cascade down your features and onto your shirt. and he kisses them away, one by one. his hands remain cupping your cheeks, the feeling of him pecking away the very last tear making you feel safer than you have ever felt.

of course, later he will complain about how your tears were super salty, but for now he'll hold you in his warm embrace and reassure you that he doesn't mind if you stick your tearstained face to his chest, because "he always liked his shirts soggy."

☆ — KIM SUNOO

kisses your cheeks

sunoo loves your cheeks. he loves everything about you, but he'll always somehow find a way to give some extra love to your cheeks. be it poking them, biting them, pinching them, sometimes even simply staring and admiring, just know that he will find a way. oh and if he kisses you on the lips? there is no escaping him.

you'll hear him call your name as he enters the room and the next thing you know his hands are resting on your hips and he leans in, pressing his pink lips against yours. you can taste his cherry chapstick, no wonder they feel so soft and plump. you wrap your arms around his neck to deepen the kiss, smiling against his lips as he moves his hands from your hips to your waist, tickling your sensitive skin before you playfully push him away from you, oblivious to the warm smile that made its way onto the lips that were moving in sync with yours a few seconds ago. the way you grin from ear to ear makes his heart thump against his ribcage, so you can't really blame him when he pulls your body back towards him and firmly holds you in place with his palms that rest on your shoulders. his face inches closer towards your right cheek, his warm breath fanning over it before he plants a warm kiss. he can't hear your giggles anymore, but he can definitely hear your heart speed up at the feeling of his chapstick still lingering on your skin. then he slowly moves to your left cheek, making sure to stop right in front of your face to flash you the smile that he can't control around you. he leaves a peck on your left cheek as well. and he can't decide what's funnier, the way he can feel his chapstick on your cheeks as he moves him palms from your shoulders to your face, or the way your crimson red blush completely covers the light cherry red color that his lips left as a mark.

☆ — YANG JUNGWON

picks you up whenever you hug

the pure joy and excitement you feel when you're around jungwon is impeccable. not even a single thing in the world compares to how he makes you feel, so being away from him... is like a fucking nightmare.

jungwon is just so stupidly and utterly in love with you that when he isn't beside you he simply feels incomplete. and when the frustration, exhaustion, anger, sadness, and his responsibilities as the leader all bundle up into one big emotional ticking bomb that's ready to explode at any given moment... his mind and heart search for you. he needs to unwind and he knows that having you in his arms is the only way he can let go and finally relax. carrying all this burden on his shoulders is suffocating but he knows that you're always there to help him carry the weight. you're his safe place.

and that's exactly why the second he sees you he opens his arms wide and runs towards your frame, engulfing your entire body in the warmest, most bone-crushing hug. It doesn't matter if he saw you yesterday, a week, a month, or a year ago. each and every single time he gets the chance to see you he hugs you like it's the very last time he'll be able to hold you in his arms. so you're not even slightly surprised when you feel your legs leave the ground as he lifts you up and spins you around. in fact, you wrap your legs around his waist and bury your head in his shoulder, sticking to him like a koala as a smile tugs its way onto your lips and your heart exhilarates, beating the same happy rhythm as your boyfriend's.

buries his head in your neck/shoulders

he does this especially when he's tired and sleepy (which is basically always... he loves his naps) because he tends to get clingier when he has absolutely no energy left and just wants to be close to you.

after a long day of practice he can barely keep his eyes open, his head feels like it weighs a bazillion kg and the only thing that his mind is capable of comprehending is that he wants to sleep and that he wants to be with you. you are aware of this. you know how he gets when he's worn out and tired.

so then why exactly does it never fail to make you flustered when he quickly spins you around so you can face him and suddenly lays his head against your shoulder? you feel his eyelashes softly brush against you and tickle your skin as he flutters his eyes shut. just that alone makes your heart fill with an overwhelming amount of love and joy. but when he slowly snakes his arms around your waist and buries his head even further into your neck, you know you're an absolute goner. you ask him how his day went, but he doesn't answer. he simply groans. and when giggles bubble up your throat and you laugh at him for being so whiney, he can't help but laugh along with you. you feel him smile against your skin, the way his lips quirk up before he quickly pecks your shoulder doesn't go unnoticed by you. but you don't say anything, because you know that the next sentence you utter will come out in stutters and that for sure would give your boyfriend an idea about how giddy he makes you feel, his heavy head on your shoulder and his face buried in your neck making your stomach feel funny, butterflies roaming around. knowing him long enough, you don't think you can endure riki getting a big head again over making you feel flustered, so you stay silent, opting to enjoy the moment instead. your hand moves up to the back of his head, playing with the hairs on the nape of his neck as his eyelids flutter shut once more. riki sighs in contentment, brushing his nose against your neck to feel your body vibrate and hear your angelic laughter pierce his ears as you giggle at the ticklish feeling. and the next breath he takes fills his senses with the scent of you. getting lost in the comfort he remains completely oblivious to the effect he has on you... or at least you'd like to think so.

You were stuck there anyways. Your brother wouldn’t come pick you up earlier enough and all your friends left already so you found no point in wanting to leave and sit outside in the hot and humid weather where you’ll probably just end up with mosquito bites and sweaty skin.

The song played in your earphones as you lazily flipped through the Spider-man comic. It was your newest hyperfixation and you had difficulties getting copies but you were getting there.

Suddenly an intrusion popped in front of you as you got to the good part, but you paid no mind to whoever it was.

Besides, who in their right mind would want to make small talk with a stranger in the damned detention room?

The music was dull but you could hear the sound of someone clearing their throat. Sighing, you put down the comic and looked unamused at the boy in front of you.

Park Sunghoon. Rich, smart, pretty boy who lived up to all the stereotypes that clung to his personality while also hanging out with the same sort of people. Not a stranger you thought.

You wondered how you missed seeing him and…Park Jonseong? (If you remembered correctly) walk in. Perhaps you indeed were too focused in your daydreams.

Now amusement flickered in your gaze as you looked up at him.

He definitely did live to his pretty boy name you mused as you took in the moles on his face, the shade of his pink lips, the messy yet perfectly sitting hair of his.

He gulped under your calculating gaze, not knowing why he felt nervous all of a sudden when it was his idea to tell you not to say anything to Mr.Kim for when Jay and him would ditch the detention they got that day. He confidently told his friend he would threaten you if you didn’t comply, perhaps maybe bribe you a bit and surely it would do the trick.

But how his words seemed to bite right back at him because suddenly his mouth felt drier and tongue heavier under your gaze. For a brief moment, he wondered how he had never seen you, otherwise, he knew he wouldn’t be able to forget a face like yours.

“Now now,what ever have I done to have the Park Sunghoon right in front of me?” You grinned teasingly at him and fuck you had dimples. He swore he might have died in that moment and reached heaven.

He felt a shove that snapped him out of his thoughts.

“Uh-yeah um we- wait you know me?” You raised a brow at his words, the amusement only growing as you saw the tip of his ears getting red.

Was he flustered…by you?

“ ‘course I do, it would seem weird if I didn’t at least to you people.” You murmured the last part, darting your eyes to his friend who seemed to roll his eyes.You weren’t sure if it was because of you or because of Sunghoon.

“Can you get to the point idiot-”

“Hey! Shut up, yeah? I’m talking-”

“All I see is you acting like a huge fucking si-”

They whispered to each other, almost making you giggle at the way they both seemed to be arguing over something, you figured you were somehow involved.

“Well see- the thing is we’re going to ditch this.” You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, tilting your head a little as you leaned forward in your chair, placing your head on one hand.

“And? Does that concern me?”

“We don’t want you snitching, that’s what he meant. You can ditch too, Mr.Kim’s known for never coming back to his detentions once he leaves.”

You shook your head, “I’m fine here, I have to wait anyways, you can-”

Suddenly a thought occurred to you, “Hmm, the snitching on you both part sounds tempting, I might even get brownie points, struggling with his class anyways.”

No,he was not supposed to find your smirk cute, nor the mischievous glint in your eyes.

“What’s in it for me?”

“Wha- what’s in it for you?! You can ditch too! Didn’t I say that already-”

“Wait. I might have something.”

Jay stared at Sunghoon in both disbelief and annoyance while you looked at him curiously. He set his bag down and opened it, pulling out something.

“Here.”

You couldn’t believe your eyes. The newest edition of the Spider-man series. You’d been trying for ages to get it, but held yourself back when you saw the triple digit price point.

Of course he’d have this.

You gasped in disbelief, looking in awe as you grabbed it and flipped through the pages. Sunghoon found it absolutely cute the way your eyes lit up.

He was concerned about how enduring he already found you in the span of approximately 10 minutes.

“It’s too expensive, I can’t-”

“Who said I am giving it to you? I’m letting you borrow it so you won’t rat us out.”

It seemed the tables turned and it was your turn to be flustered under his teasing gaze and he did in fact have a cute grin. Shit-eating one but adorable.

“I’ll take it to my grave.” You hugged the comic to your chest and did a zipping your mouth motion, throwing away the pretend key. He let out a chuckle at your actions and the sound absolutely did not do something to your heart ( You think it might have burst ).

Jay had been observing the interaction and he knew why exactly Sunghoon did what he was doing. Seems like the supposed ‘ice’ prince was melting at your mere presence. Oh he was so going to spill everything to the rest of his friends and tease him for the life of it.

Sunghoon’s gaze moved towards your phone, seeing it was still unlocked he took it while you yelped in alarm, “Hey! I said I won’t say anything!”

You had stood up from your chair and now only realised just how much taller he was than you when he began to type something with his hands raised above you.

“Here. My number and I rang it to have yours. Call me when you’re done reading, I expect to get my comic back soon enough.” He held your hand and plopped your phone in it, while you remained frozen at his bold moves. Even the blonde next to him was surprised at his actions, that probably said a lot to you.

He swung his arm around Jay who had an amused grin as he shook his head, waving bye to you, pausing for a moment when he realized something as he looked back at you.

“What’s your name?”

“Uh-oh um,” You were still in a trance at what just happened as you said your name, not as confidently as you wished and you cursed yourself mentally for already being so hung up on his actions.

He repeated it as if testing it out, “See you soon then,” He grinned at you as you just chose to wave back, thinking you might just say something stupid.

Looking down at your phone, you saw his number and back at the comic book that laid on the desk, you grinned bashfully, shaking your head as you laughed.

Maybe just maybe, Park Sunghoon wouldn't have to wait until you finished the comic for you to see him.

jungwon knew he loved you when...

...he stayed up the whole night talking with you. you and jungwon had fallen into the habit of talking on the phone before going to sleep every night. the two of you could talk about anything and everything. you told each other about your days, your friends, celebrity drama, the weather -- jungwon could chat about any topic as long as he got to hear your voice, your little laughs, your yawns, your soft sighs. that night after you'd been chatting for a while, he heard you gasp. "oh my god, it's 4am!" jungwon looked at his phone and he smiled to himself. he enjoyed talking to you so much that he completely lost track of time. with you, hours felt like mere minutes. that's why, as he wished you goodnight, he said "i love you" for the first time.

heeseung knew he loved you when...

...he saw you wearing his hoodie. in the few months since you started dating, you became a familiar presence in heeseung's apartment. it was early one morning, and heeseung slipped out of bed early while you were still asleep to get food. as he sat quietly in the kitchen eating his breakfast, he heard you walk into the room, your footsteps soft on the floor. when he looked up, he was met with the sight of you wearing one of his hoodies. he melted in an instant. it was adorably huge on you; the sleeves covered your hands and the bottom hem hung well past your waist. as he stared at you, his heart bursting at the fact that you were in his clothes, he knew you were the one.

jay knew he loved you when...

...you fell asleep on his shoulder. every so often, you insisted on dragging jay out of the house and spending hours shopping at the local mall. the two of you walked around the whole day, stopping at every shop, trying on everything, and getting snacks at the food court. when your adventure together finally drew to a close, you both took the subway home, taking seats next to each other. the gentle sway of the subway car seemed to slowly rock you to sleep. eventually, you rested your head on jay's shoulder, taking your boyfriend by surprise. he peered down at your sleeping face, your lips parted slightly as your breathing slowed. in that quiet, peaceful moment, jay realized he was irrevocably in love with you.

jake knew he loved you when...

...you cried while watching a kids' movie. movie marathons were a common activity on your and Jake's date nights. that night, you both settled on coco, snuggled together under the blankets. you always had a soft spot for disney movies, and the scene at the end when miguel sings to his grandmother always hits you right in the heart. you sniffled and the tears began to flow down your face. jake giggled softly, surprised that a kids' movie was making you so emotional. "it's so sad!" you said. "how are you not crying?" you buried your face in his chest and he combed his fingers through your hair in an attempt to soothe you. jake loved how big your heart was. jake loved how you felt every emotion so strongly and so genuinely. and most importantly, jake realized that he loved you.

sunghoon knew he loved you when...

...you communicated without speaking. it was saturday night and you were at a friend's party. the bass of the speakers thrummed and countless people filled the house, laughing and dancing and talking. sunghoon, forever an introvert, was beginning to reach the end of his social battery. he spotted you from across the room, chatting animatedly with a group of your mutual friends. you looked up, making eye contact with your boyfriend. you quickly excused yourself from the conversation and made your way over to him. "let's go home, i'm tired too," you said. "how'd you know i was tired?" he responded. you smiled. "your face said everything, hoon." sunghoon smiled back at you. right in front of him stood a person who understood him more than anyone, who he could speak to without saying a word. sunghoon was in love.

sunoo knew he loved you when...

the most boyfriendish boyfriend to exist.

he’s always there for you, whether that be you’re having a sad day and just require his presence or if something exciting has happened and you wish to tell him all about it, here’s there to listen.

this boy is so in love with you he feels like he can’t even breathe when he’s near you. he’s always messaging the group chat with the rest of the members when he’s with you, either incoherent ramblings or just full on paragraphs about why he loves you so much. the rest of enhypen have learned to ignore it though.

you best bet if the two of you have an unscheduled day, he will not let you leave his presence. what was once an early morning turned into a late lie in because he snuggled up to you, not allowing you to escape his bear hug. a movie night turned into you and him falling asleep on the couch, his arm wrapped around your waist while the unwatched movie played in the background.

he tends to play fight with you. if the two of you are on his bed, he’ll just start wrestling with you simply because he loves the laughter you let out. after it, he’ll have your hands pinned to the bed and he’ll bend down to kiss you.

sunghoon

despite being such a tease, he’s seriously a good boyfriend to you.

he’s the perfect example of someone who taunts their partner because they love to see how riled up they get. he’s always pulling small pranks on you or just downright teasing you because he loves the reactions you pull. he would always end it with an “i’m just teasing” and pull you in for a hug.

he’s so attentive with little details. if you’re in a restaurant and sharing food, he’ll always give you more of what you love to eat. he’ll always lead you by the hand if the two of you are out in public, as well as always having his hand on your body if you’re say waiting at traffic lights.

again he just executes boyfriend acts all the time. he’s always the type to offer his coat if you’re too cold, he would rather suffer from the chill himself than witness you shivering. when out on a picnic date, he’ll let you use him as a pillow when you snuggle up to him, even if he has nothing to rest his head on himself. he’ll always put you first.

niki

even if it’s niki’s first relationship, he sure as hell knows how well to treat you.

he’ll always and i mean always give you his hoodies to wear. at this point, you have more of his hoodies hung in your wardrobe than he does. he loves seeing how big they are on you; he’s just obsessed with seeing you wear one of his possessions and knowing you probably sleep all enveloped in one, his heart can’t take it.

he has a dedicated playlist for when you come over. whenever a love song plays that just gets his heart beating, he’ll look over to you and smile, as if he’s relating the lyrics to your relationship. overall, he has to remind himself that you’re not just a dream and that he actually has you as a partner.

he’s learning to be a better boyfriend as he’s going, but his acts are just so natural sometimes. for instance: he’ll always insist you message him when you get home straight away. if you’re faced away from him when lying in bed, he’ll roll over and wrap his arm around your waist, kissing your cheek and neck while he asks what’s wrong. and lastly, he’ll have the cutest nicknames for you, he probably has a new one stored every week.

The flashlight engulfed a small section which lit up Heeseung's face and for a moment, he looked like a horror movie character.

"Jumpscare!" Niki screamed loudly which made you chuckle again, Jungwon hitting him now because he seemed to have screamed right in his ear.

"Can you turn down your volume or something?! You'll literally burst my ears!"

Jungwon whined at Niki as Heeseung rolled his eyes, already tired of their antics.

Jay got up and moved beside Heeseung carefully, making sure not to trip over anything.

"So we'll be back in a few, hopefully the lights will work, Jake you're responsible for all of them!" Heeseung said as he turned around,pointing his flashlight down the hall, which honestly seemed creepier in the dark.

"We're not kids that need babysitters!" You said as you scoffed at what Heeseung said, which you did feel a little offended by.

"He's not wrong though." Jake coughed out as you glared at him through the dark.

It was dark once again, choosing not to turn on unnecessary flashlights which would then drain your batteries.

"Wait, we'll go look for candles so at least something would be visible, be right back!"

Sunoo and Jake got up and made their way towards the kitchen which was a little further away.

"Hoon you take care of them now!"

"Hey what did I say!-"

"Yeah okay." Sunghoon replied to which you directed your anger towards him, slightly pouting at him for not taking your side.

Sunoo and Niki seemed to be in their own world as they argued on and you could hear them in the dark but chose not to say anything.

"You know, I have an idea." Sunghoon moved closer to you, using the darkness as a benefit and now pulling you into his side.

He spoke in a light tone, making sure to whisper as to not alert the other two who seemed to be in their own world arguing about some show as far as you could remember listening to.

"How about you repay for your forgiveness by kissing me right now?" His low voice sent shivers down your spine as he whispered in your ears.

"Forgiveness? What did I do that I need your forgiveness huh?" You whispered back as you moved your hand up to feel where his face would be.

Poking around before he held your hand that was now holding his cheek, he said,

"Well you did kind of hit me pretty hard back there."

"Oh please, you deserved it." You giggled as you rubbed circles on his cheek with your thumb as you sat before him your legs folded beneath you.

His were sprawled wide open which gave you the space to move between then and closer to him.

One hand resting in his shoulder, you moved your head closer to his,

"But you're lucky I love you."

His hands moved to your waist and his thumbs rubbed on the hip bones, as you squeezed his shoulder and moved one hand across his hair.

"Guys, you still awake?" Came a voice across you.

Sunghoon cleared his throat, making sure you didn't accidentally fall before he answered.

Lucky for you both, they couldn't see you so they didn't say more and actually got convinced by your stupid excuses.

Suddenly before you could say anything or anyone could say anything, the lights came on.

You had to blink to adjust your eyes to the new evasion of the sudden brightness.

"We couldn't find the candles but now we don't even need them!"

"Obviously genius."

Jay rolled his eyes as he looked at Jungwon who seemed to be in a sort of comical expression of shock which made him snort.

He followed his gaze as he now looked at a slightly horrified Sunghoon who was looking at you.

You just blinked back at him, not sure what to say or do because obviously one person was already able to catch on to what was going on, or what had happened in the dark.

Now making that three as Niki who seemed to remain in oblivion until he saw the same shade on your lips.

And the cherry on top of this disastrous sundae was Jay figuring it out, Jay who couldn't for the love of all things beautiful, shut his mouth.

"Did you two fucking kiss?!"

"Language!" Heeseung said before anything and once he realized what Jay had said, he too looked at the both of you now.

"Oh thank gosh I haven't had to see them kiss or else I'd actually pour bleach in my eyes." Jungwon sighed in relief as he too then agreed with Niki.

Sunghoon and you looked at each other, quite obviously confused as to why no one seemed to be mad about not telling them sooner.

Lucky for you, Sunoo seemed to have read your mind and replied,

"Oh don't worry, we aren't mad or anything if that's what you're worried about, it's your relationship, you can reveal it to us whenever but just saying you were both pretty obvious from the get go! And oh! These three had bet on it too!"

"I never was involved!" Jay exclaimed in between and then went back to arguing his way out of Jake's gaslighting.

"You all knew?" Sunghoon asked, still stunned at how…normal everyone was behaving.

"Please, getting them gifts and flowers, them wearing your clothes and even more gross coupley stuff wasn't obvious enough then call us stupid." Sunoo told him and he sighed,

"Oh these three are giving me a headache, I need something to drink, be right back and of course congratulations on your reveal!" He said happily as he turned around to head back to the kitchen.

You paused and looked back at Sunghoon who seemed to do the same.

"It was that easy huh?" He was stunned and the look on his face only made it more hilarious,so honestly you couldn't help it.

Bursting out in giggles, you felt relieved at how your relationship was revealed, wondering if you should have done it sooner or ever even hid it.

At your giggles, Sunghoon soon seemed to smile as he shook his head, hearing the argument going on in the room with Niki and Jungwon both now poking into the argument.

You didn't just feel your heart being full now, it felt like you had a weight lifted off your shoulders and looking back at Sunghoon, you were more than grateful for whatever that happened.

And wait.

It seemed that the shade of lipstick suited him more now, maybe you should properly apply it on his lips again, of course using your favourite method which was placing your lips on his, like always.

a/n: inspired by their newest song tfw (that feeling when), it's a cute song so this came out of listening to it and reading the english lyrics. basically just sweet or cute moments with enhypen! this is also my 100 followers celebration post! tysm for the support even after i switched blogs, i'm forever grateful for everyone. anyways hope you enjoy as always, and more under the cut ♡

heeseung

heeseung hands you a cold can of soda, plopping beside you and the fan you've settled near. it's really hot out and the two of you have taken refuge near the cold wind from the fan. he wipes the beads of sweat from his forehead as he leans on your own head. the soft buzz from the cicadas can be heard as you both enjoy the clear skies from your bedroom window. you take a sip of your drink while fanning yourself in an attempt to cool down. "you know what would help us cool off?" he starts, your eyes meeting his own as he speaks. you raise your brow in confusion, wondering what could be going through his head. "don't look at me like that, I was just gonna suggest making shaved ice desserts" he suggests, mirroring your furrowed brow. you blush immediately and his words and shake your furiously before shoving him away playfully. "w-whatever let's just go make something cold to eat" you stutter, your playful boyfriend following after you with a chuckle. he reaches for your arm, pulling you back to him to press a quick to your forehead, just so he can see your embarrassed face and redden cheeks. (but you didn't hear that from me)

jay

you're studying in the living room, humming to yourself as you go over your notes for what feels like the 3rd time that hour. you're sitting on the rug in front of the couch, your headphones quietly playing your study playlists. jay was sleeping in the bedroom, recovering from working late from the night before. as much as you wanted to continue sleeping beside him, tests we're coming up and just wanted to get over studying for the rest of the day and without bothering him. at least that's what you thought, your normally heavy sleeper of a boyfriend stood near the arm of the couch, his eye mask messily resting on his forehead and his hand scratching the back of his neck. you met his tired eyes, unable to figure out what he was thinking. "sorry jay, i don't i was being too loud but i'll keep it down" you apologize quickly, which is met with a quick shake of his head. "just wanted to be near you" he mumbles, taking his spot on the couch and laying down. his hand rests on your shoulder and he presses a quick kiss to your forehead before getting comfortable and closing his eyes. you blush, silently continuing your studying but leaning your head on his hand gently. yeah, i guess you wanted him to be near you too.

jake

"hurry jake!" you tug jake by his arms towards the carnival entrance, already excited to go on the corny rides and enjoy the food. he wears a bright smile mirroring yours, just as excited as you to finally go on this type of dates. it was a cool summer day, wind dancing with you as you make it to the viking coaster while swinging your linked hands together. your smiles don't waver the entire day, infectious laughter following suit. you swear you've gone on all the rides at this point so you finally you pull him away for a break; jake leans against a tree on edge of carnival lot with you leaning against him. a frozen drink in your hand, a soft happy sigh leaving your lips. the evening brings a warm sunset to greet you both, jake wrapping his arms around your torso and resting his head on your shoulder blade. you both are silent as listen to the carnival music and chatter of the others, quietly enjoying the feeling of being close to one another.

sunghoon

"sunghoon stop it!" you laugh, returning the water being splashed at your by your boyfriend who's also sharing your laughter. it's the summertime, and the two of you are cooling off in the water at the beach. he said would play nice during the car ride, but clearly wasn't by how soaked you were without even diving into the water. you attempt to get away from him, spotting your beach towels and the bright red umbrella where your items stayed. "where do you think you're going?" he asks with a smug grin, tackling you and falling into the water with you. he holds you close as you both come back for air, arms looping around your waist loosely. you glare at him playfully, though mirroring his bright smile as you cups his cheeks for a quick kiss. which leads to another, and another... till you exact your revenge by splashing his face. though you finally settle it when he buys you mango shaved ice from the food stalls, a hopeful holding the icy treat with his lips puckered playfully. you roll your eyes, peck his lips a few times before tugging him towards a place to sit.

sunoo

"sunoo stop taking photos and hurry up" you whine as you turn around to your boyfriend no longer right beside you but at the crosswalk, sunoo looking at you apologetically before catching up with you. he smiles to himself at the photos he took of you, already thinking of which one to make his new wallpaper and the one he'd print onto a polaroid to add to the others in his album. he just really enjoyed taking photos, especially ones of you that just took a snapshot of what he was so lucky to see on a daily basis. you always rant to him about how he should stick to taking selfies, which he rolls his eyes at. "i'm your number one fan (y/n) so i'm just making sure you know how beautiful you look" he replies nonchalantly, showing you one of the many photos he was already favouriting. totally doesn't skip over the videos he has of you snoring, i don't know what you're talking about.

jungwon

jungwon watches as you get excited as you near the arcade, holding his hand a bit tighter as you finally stand in front of the neon lights signaling the entrance. he swears the same look doesn't leave your face as go around to see what games and prizes were to be won at the price counter. "jungwon we have to win that" you point eagerly at the plush penguin with a bowtie. he laughs as he follows you around, celebrating each win with small pecks to your lips. it did take a few tries, but the both of you finally manage to get the said plush. you happily pose with it for a photo with him, your smile making his heart swell. he pats you on the head, "so lets get some ice cream?" he suggested, already following after your figure in what he assumed was the direction of the ice cream shop. he let out a laugh, watching you dance on the empty streets with your plushie as your dance partner. the light illuminating your path and jungwon's just admiring you for a bit. 'yeah, this feeling was nice' he thought to himself, before jogging ahead to catch up with you.

niki

you're on the rooftop of your highschool, enjoying the soft wind and the spring weather. you're laying in his lap while niki reads the latest manga he's gotten from the store the day before, while snacking on gummy bears as you both enjoy each other's presence. you feel goosebumps form on your arms, the strong breeze tickling your skin as you gaze upwards at the sky. you poke his thigh a few times, niki already hovering a few of the candies near your mouth. you snack on them happily as he doesn't spare a glance, only moving his eyes away from his manga when you comment on the cat shaped cloud moving through the sky. though he doesn't look upwards, but towards your innocent face and your sparkling eyes. he smiles warmly, leaning down to kiss your forehead before humming in response to your words. he feels at peace when he enjoys his afternoons with you.

late summer lovin’

description: you desperately want to spend your last summer here in town with your friends, only to find out almost all of them are away on vacation. that is, all of them but heeseung. the one friend you’d never really been that close with.

it was the last summer you’d have here in this old familiar town before you had to move away for college. you had just graduated and were feeling freer than you ever had felt before. no more restrictions and limits. just finally time to enjoy the world around you.

time. you finally had time. it’s the one thing you had been craving for the entirety of your just gone school year.

you decided that nothing was going to stop you from enjoying this summer and that you’d spend every moment of it to the fullest. you’d do things that made you uncomfortable just to get out of your zone, try new things, and just enjoy it all.

what a better way to spend this summer than with your closest friends? to you, there was no better way. so that’s exactly what you wanted to do.

however a boundary quickly came your way. almost all of your friends were working or just too busy to do the things you wanted to do, and if they weren’t busy they were away for the summer on vacation with their families.

except heeseung.

within your whole friend group, heeseung was the one you were the least close to. you had met each other through your mutual friends a year ago, but had only ever talked and hung out when everyone else was there.

recently, your friend group had gone on a trip to the capital for a day since it was just a few hours drive away. you had all spent the day together, the majority of it crammed up in the back of jays car. you were stuck in the middle, squished between jungwon and heeseung. at first it was awkward as you could physically feel your sides up against them, but if you were being honest, being crammed up like that only brought you and heeseung closer that day- physically and emotionally.

you spent the long car journey talking and joking since you were sat next to each other. it quickly started getting more comfortable between the two of you. so comfortable, that on the way home you and heeseung had fell asleep with your heads leaning on each other- to which you were painfully reminded of it every second after you had woken up to your friend jake teasing the pair of you, and showing you the pictures he had taken while you were asleep.

after that day, you and heeseung had been texting each other more often.

now, just a month later, you were the only two of your friends that were left in town for the summer.

you impulsively decided to try and make some plans with heeseung, since you’d rather spend time with him than waste the summer away alone. even if it was awkward.

to your surprise, he agreed with no hesitation.

this was the first time you would hang out together, just the two of you. of course, at first it was awkward as hell.

it was a simple summer day, simple plans, nothing too out there. you and heeseung had decided to go to the local pool because the hot sunny temperature was ridiculous to be out in.

if heeseung was being honest, he was so nervous about hanging out, he had over prepared before he got there. it was as if he was going on a date- which he wasn’t. he struggled to think of conversation to make with you for a while. though, he eventually forgot about how anxious he was as he saw you having fun and laughing at his random jokes he had cracked out of nerves.

he couldn’t help but pay more attention to your smile than usual. maybe it was just the way the sun reflected off the pool water onto your face, but it was pretty on you, and your laugh was addicting to listen to. that was the real reason he was being extra funny today.

he shook it off and decided to just splash you with the water. maybe it would rinse away whatever he was feeling right now looking at you.

as time went on, the sun hid behind clouds and sudden shade loomed over the pool. it got a bit chilly; it was relieving for those who weren’t in the water- which was now getting significantly colder. you started to visibly shiver. heeseung immediately noticed and swam over to you.

“y/n, are you okay?” he was concerned.

“yeah, it just got a bit cold,” you complained.

“here,” heeseung grabbed onto you, pulling you closer to him, his arms wrapped around your waist, your legs wrapped around his own waist. he carried you slowly through the water, leading you to the ladder.

“let’s get out now before you get hypothermia or something.”

and so you did both get out, but now you felt a lot warmer, and not because of the towel heeseung was sweetly wrapping you in, but because your love language was acts of service and for some reason what he had just done hit a soft spot in you momentarily. it had been physically the closest you’d ever been to him.

after you had both finished getting changed separately, you decided to go out and eat. the food was definitely needed after such a long swim.

heeseung watched you eat quite passionately and let out a soft giggle.

you looked at him and paused, quite offended, “what?”

“you look like a little chipmunk right now,” he ruffled your hair.

“ew? are you trying to give me the ick?” you rolled your eyes.

“calm down alvin,” heeseung mumbled under his breath, causing you two to bicker for a while.

that evening as you lay in your bed, you could only help but think of the day you had spent with heeseung. you stared at your ceiling with a smile. hanging out with heeseung alone wasn’t that bad, in fact you kind of enjoyed it more than when you were both with your other friends. you pulled out your phone and shot him a message.

let’s do it again tomorrow?

how about we just spend the entire summer together?

and you both held yourselves to that. many burning days went by of a similar manner, laughs, jokes, blushing, unintended flirting. quality time spent together, just getting to know one another more and more. you enjoyed each other’s company. it felt right. maybe you were destined to be best friends this whole time.

you spent the summer going to each other’s places, watching movies, cooking and baking together, dancing around, playing video games, self care nights, stargazing, cloud watching, going to the pool, going on food runs, doing shopping fashion shows, just being around each other.

you grew inseparable, the most iconic duo of the summer.

you were glad summer was going how you had wanted it to. you enjoyed each day so much, you had forgotten how fast it would end.

on your final night in town, you and heeseung had gone on one last night drive. the night felt so surreal. it didn’t feel like the last night you’d be here like this.

you watched out the car window, breeze brushing your face, the prominent smell of night (if that made sense). you and heeseung just sat in silence with music playing, embracing the nostalgic kinda vibe moment. it felt like those scenes in coming of age movies you watched.

before heeseung pulled up to your house for the final time, he decided to take the long way home- stopping in a random parking lot.

you didn’t question it, in fact you actually didn’t mind at all. you wanted as much time as you could get with him left. you’d grown so attached to his presence, you weren’t quite sure how you were going to deal without it now.

the movers had already been and taken all your stuff, so it was more entertaining to be out of the house anyway, and you didn’t really feel like going back.

heeseung looked over to you, “i just want to thank you. because of you i’ve had the best summer there could’ve been.”

“don’t thank me,” you began, “thank you for agreeing to spend it with me. i’m glad we spoke more individually.”

you both smiled and sat quietly again for a while, music humming quietly from the car radio.

“oh look at the stars!” he explained excitedly, pointing to the window.

“do you think that one is a constellation?” you pointed as well, joining in.

“maybe,” heeseung laughed “that one kind of looks angry.”

“how can a star look angry?”

heeseung shrugged and looked at you.

you snorted, “you’re stupid.”

he smiled.

“i’m gonna miss this,” you finally admitted, avoiding eye contact.

silence. it was silent for a moment. it made you look at him again, wondering why he had not said anything at all.

he was already looking at you, actually looking kind of sad and conflicted. he said nothing still. you blushed slightly from the long eye contact.

that’s when something changed. the moment that if you would have told yourself from a few months ago about, you’d laugh at yourself. no way would that happen. but it did. heeseung reached over to you, pulling you in by the chin, and he had impulsively kissed you.

that definitely took you by surprise, but who were you to complain?

heeseung had pulled back and hesitated for a moment, worried that he had forgotten to ask first. you pulled him back in almost instantly, because something in you had secretly been wanting this for a while now.

you hadn’t told him, but over the time that you had spent together you began to develop some strong romantic feelings.

little did you know, so had heeseung.

you had both kept it from each other because of the simple fact you were moving away and starting anything serious now would be problematic. neither of you would believe the other would ever like you back anyway. how wrong you both were.

you had always raved on about how happy you’d be to leave this small town behind, but now you had something special attached to it.

part of you felt disappointed and angry that you had left it so late to finally get close like this. it felt like you had wasted so much time- but how could you have known what special connection awaited between you? this was never planned, but then again the most precious things never were.

heeseung couldn’t take it anymore.

if he was going to confess at all, he would confess now, even through just a small action- because he felt like he was losing you tonight. he wasn’t sure when he’d see you again and he knew he would regret it if he didn’t act now. everything in him urged him to be close to you, protect you, hold you, kiss you, but he couldn’t tell you in words. he felt selfish for it, knowing you’d be gone tomorrow.

“i’ll miss this too,” heeseung finally said through a short pause, immediately meeting your lips again and holding you tight under the stars.

Warnings: not really? Just making out/kissing, nothing sexual!! And some pet names too!.

Pairing: sunghoon x gn!reader

Note: not proof read!!

Sunghoon was lying down on the bed and you were on top of him. Your lips stuck with his as they move together in a perfect rhythm. His arms wrapped around your neck and your fingers locked with his soft hair.

His lips feel heavenly against yours, so soft and so pretty. You always thought his lips were so kissable, even before you both got together. His lips look so perfect; a pretty light pink colour, plump and a pretty shape too.

You pull away from his lips and rest your forehead against his to catch your breath. He giggles softly causing you to giggle along with him. You give his lips a small peck.

"you have really pretty lips hoon" you say, taking one of your hands out of his hair and trace his lips. Making them part slightly with your thumb. All he does is looks up at your eyes with those pretty brown orbs of his.

"you think so?" He asks in a soft voice. You reply with a "mhm" and land your lips on his again. Your hand cupping his left cheek as you proceed to kiss him. Your thumb lightly caressing his cheek as you do so.

He quietly giggles in between kisses. "what's so funny, hmm?" You tease him a bit. "mmm nothing, 'm just glad that" you peck his lips again. "mm that I can have you this close" he pecks your lips this time.

"Yeah? I'm glad that I can have you this close and..." You trail off, looking at those plump lips off his that are slightly swollen from all the kissing. "And that I can get to kiss these pretty lips of yous" you both giggle before kissing him again. He makes a humming sound into the kiss.

With your hand still cupping his cheek, you move your hand a bit to pinch his cheek lightly, causing him to break the kiss and let out a whine. "You're so cute like this baby" you say as you pinch his cheek again. "Yeah yeah whatever" he rolls his eyes playfully.

You kiss his cheek and roll over, so you're now laying down beside him. "What?? That's all?" He pouts. You giggle at his cute whine. He turns over to look at you, both of you being face to face now. You put your hand on his waist. "I love you hoon" you say as you bring him close to you.

"I love you too yn" he says with literal sparkles in his eyes. He wraps his arm around your back and you do the same. You both stay in this position, in each others arms. Sunghoon closes his eyes and lowers himself down so his face is in your chest now. You hold him even closer to you now.

"Hoon, baby?" You call out to him as you hear his breathe evening out. You assume he's sleeping so you close your eyes too. Both taking a nap for the day.
