The only summer that can surpass white boy summer is this one right here, and I for one am looking forward to the Brooks Falls gang and explore.org bringing Fat Bear Summer to life
Cool Facts- Found in only a single river in the Cordillera Azul National Park in Peru, the Summers’ poison frog is a beautiful fella. About as big as a fingernail, these frogs can spend their entire life in a small cluster of trees. During the mating season, the frogs put on a show with a unique song that sets them apart from the other poison frogs that live in the area. Their song is a soft buzzing noise that can only be heard from a meter away. That means for a male to have any chance at some loving, a female has to be within that one meter range to respond. The females then lay their eggs in tree hollows filled with rainwater. Unfortunately, Summers’ poison frogs are endangered from a mixture of habitat loss and the illegal pet trade.
