Lockdown struggles. . I started the day visualising the planche progression workout I was going to have later on and I was feeling good. You know when you think, “yeah, I can do this. It’s gonna be great.” Then, after a full days work and the inevitable barrage of distractions that accompany a family of four living under extended lockdown conditions, my head was a garbled mess. . I’ve found I really need a clear head when training mentally demanding skills like the planche. Music often helps me focus, but it wasn’t doing enough this time around. After reaching peak frustration, I switched to reps and sets so that I could get some benefit from the workout. .
