⠀ I am finally ready to acknowledge some silver linings of this situation. ⠀ ⠀ Since working out at home I have seen 100% less old man dick and ass in the locker room. ( well, just my own). 😂 If it wasn’t so cold at the moment I would probably be practicing my shameless old man naked locker room walk 24/7. 💪⠀ ⠀ I have also stopped wearing deodorant, which has even kept my dog at a 6ft. Distance. It is interesting to find out what we do for society vs. for ourselves through all of this. ⠀ ⠀ I am unsure if my competition in July will still be happening, but I am continuing to train like it is and honestly having a goal to focus on is helpful through this. The uncertainty isn’t my favorite, but just trying to continue to take it one day at a time and celebrate the small things like: Yesterday, I went for my first run in a very long time on a leg day even! And my knee didn’t swell up or hurt horribly afterwards. Not to mention the endorphins felt amazing and really helped my anxiety.
