my pet peeve is those "historians thought they were very good friends" jokes, like obviously for sure there are homophobic historians, but the study of same-sex desire and relationships of the past is also quite complex and you can't often go and simply label people's relationships or identities of time gone by, and sometimes it's more complicated and elusive than "they were a couple" or even "they were in love"

something i noticed while looking at aai1 talksprites is that calisto doesnt have a sweating anim (she applies makeup instead), but shih-na Does sweat, which you could interpret as her paler skintone being her natural one so... combined with the white hair and red eyes (which could also just be contacts) ........ she could possibly have oculocutaneous albinism (which wasnt the devs intention at all, no comment in the concept art book mentions it) her design is just meant to look vaguely evil and also maybe a vampire because shih-na has fangs and a forked tongue(????) but im choosing to ignore that irl it would not make her eyes anywhere near that shade of red, or even red at all. so i changed baby calistos to bluish purple

In my mind, during the helium wars, a LOT of media was still being made, like tv shows, movies, and music, all done by corporations to cover the horror that was the helium wars, because we all know that shit wasn't pretty. But music was still being made, and thats why my killjoy-sona likes spice girls and britney spears. I also think think that a LOT of celebs either died, or lived in old LA (now battery city) and became sources of propaganda.
