An extraordinary Acheulean handaxe knapped around a fossil shell circa 500,000-300,000 years ago.
The maker appears to have deliberately flaked around the shell to preserve and place it in a central position. As a result this handaxe has been described as an early example of artistic thought.

proposal for Nino finding out Adrien is Chat Noir scenario:
for Contrived Plot Reasons, Adrien has to use the black cat miraculous in front of Nino. maybe Nino was supposed to pick a substitute wielder, idk.
good thing he has a secret identity for his secret identity. cue Cat Walker.
Nino is so happy. they are going to bro out so hard. no one in the world deserves to feel powerful and free and heroic as much as Adrien does.
Cat Walker has zero fun. Cat Walker is a professional business cat doing his job. This is so awkward and he wants to end it as soon as possible.
Nino is heartbroken and manages to express this to Adrien in a way that successfully lands as "I want so many good things for you" rather than a guilt trip
Adrien chooses to identity reveal to Nino from a place of wanting to share his joy and express his true self to his best friend
Sometimes I think about an alternate universe in which Marinette is the sole defender of Paris with both miraculous, and is slowly losing touch with reality because of the unsustainable power she possesses. And Adrien and Alya, Marinette's close partners in our timeline but unable to be in this one, still find their way back to her and try their best to be grounding for their eccentric friend. This is the product of my silly beautiful mind
Replaying DQ9 for the first time in a while, and am at Stornway Castle. I inspected the Guardian Statues and was surprised to see that Stornway has two different Celestarian Guardians named; 'Tucana', on the left, and 'Cygnus', on the right.
I've been playing this game for years, and this is the first time I've really paid attention to the statues, so I'm wondering if a lot of folk have noticed this.
I'm also wondering if it's intentional or an oversight. Stornway is a pretty large town, by DQ9 standards, so it might make sense for it to have two Guardians. Equally, I'm fairly sure that it's the only town to have two, even amongst similarly sized towns like Coffinwell, Bloomingdale and Gleeba, so it is still weird.
i encourage you to go to your favourite writer's ao3 page and comment on an older fic, because i can assure you that it will make their day. It can mean so much to see your work doesn't disappear into the void to be never seen again after a day of people interacting with it. Just, if you have the time, go comment on an older work
