Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 11
The Second Doctor traveled with Jamie again after his departure while working for the Time Lords. The reason he doesn't remember this is because the Time Lords regularly erased his memory.
The Ice Warriors were originally created as a slave race to serve the Gandorans.
Strax carries dehydrated water in his first aid kit.
Homunculette and Marie are a Time Lord/TARDIS duo who consider each other "companions" and have incredibly intense feelings about one another.
The sexual attraction to humans by non-humans is called humanophilia.
On four separate known occasions, the Doctor has been to the Frost Fair. He took Vicki and Steven, River, Clara, and Bill.
When Missy broke into the Black Archive, she "liberated" a good portion of their inventory, including her "good friend" TOMTIT.
Turlough's great-great-great-great grandfather was part of Trion's royal court.
James Lethbridge-Stewart was the Brigadier's older brother. At a young age, he was forced by the Great Intelligence in an act of revenge against the Brigadier's future self to jump to his death over Golitha Falls. The young Brigadier was too short to retrieve his body. Their memories of James were later removed by the Great Intelligence.
After the year 12,000,000, some humans evolved into Homo solarians and lived inside the sun.
Oswin "Winnie" Clarence, a splinter of Clara Oswald, was a research graduate at Snowcap University in Antarctica. She saved the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald.
There have been many other splinters of Clara. A Constable Oswald filed a missing person's report on Susan Foreman in the 60s. Another was a member of the Happiness Patrol. Another was a Morestran. Etc, etc....
During an adventure with the Seventh Doctor, Chris Cwej had sex with a man named David Daniels. In doing so, he accidentally gave him a metagenic compound from the 30th century that acted as an HIV anti-virus. Harry Sullivan would later discover this compound in 2015 as a potential cure.
The Dragonhunters have a saying that "no Time Lord could be trusted."
The Doctor considered his cousin Arkhew to be inoffensive, gentle, and an unassuming. He said that such traits were "unusual for this family."
Arkhew had a pet scrubber, but his pet was eaten by another cousin named Owis. This made Arkhew hate Owis. Owis later killed Arkhew.
The Kithriarch is another important figure to a Great House. Unlike the Housekeeper, who is a medium between the sentient House and the family and responsible for the House's wellbeing, the Kithriarch is responsible for the social wellbeing of all family members.
The First, Sixth, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Doctors all meddled in the Gunpowder Plot.
Magnus Greel told the Fourth Doctor that he had encountered a Time Agent in the 51st century. Unbeknownst to the Fourth, Greel was referring to the Fifth Doctor, who had posed as a Time Agent.
The Doctor studied under Hippocrates.
The Chancellery Guard is issued a Gallifreyan Army knife. The Doctor had one, but it is marked as property of Castellan Spandrell. He eventually returned it to Spandrell.
The Eighth Doctor once ran into the Seventh Doctor and Ace at the Festival of Britain in 1951 but did not recognize them because he had amnesia at the time.
The Fourth Doctor once became a taxi driver in order to learn about history first-hand.
Raine Creevey was a companion of the Seventh Doctor, who actually assisted in her birth by midwife-ing her mother.

hear me out: Sebastian asking if their characters in solarian chronicles can kiss or something and sam is like "you guys are dumb just kiss"
This brought me joy. I kind of imagined this long ago and then forgot but jesus it was fun.
little CR reference in there for those who are fans <33
thank you <3
The fight was the most intense so far, an arch-lich wreaking havoc over the entire land.
Victor was GMing for the first time and he was doing a phenomenal job at keeping everyone on the edge of their seat. Sam, a warrior, was on the front lines, sword and shield in hand, Sebastian, a wizard, hung toward the west, distancing himself from the range of the lich, and Amelia, a cleric, slung healing spells and threw healing potions to each of her companions.
"I'm almost out of spells," she frowned, contemplating before gesturing to Sam, "I use healing word as my bonus action on Sam and then I use my action to throw a greater healing potion to Seb!" She immediately rolls her d4, adding her modifier, "7 points, Sam!"
As Sam scribbled on his sheet Victor pointed to Amelia, "roll dex for the throw."
She rolled her d20 and beamed over at Sebastian, who grinned back at her, "14!"
"Oh, I definitely caught it," Seb's eyes lingered on Amelia for a moment before he moved to write the potion on his sheet.
"Alright, the arch-lich's turn.." Victor started, looking over his own sheets, ready to make his attack.
The game continued, leaving Amelia with the impossible choice to save either Sebastian or Sam. She bit her lower lip before using her last fourth-level spell to heal him.
"I cast Life Transference on Sebastian!"
Sebastian's eyes widened, "what? No! There's no way you have enough health to survive that!"
She was already rolling, counting her points, "21 points of damage to me" she beamed at Sebastian, "making 42 points of healing to you!"
Sebastian frowned, his eyes sad. She was the only healer and none of them had any sort of way to bring her back if she died.
"Amelia is unconscious. Sebastian, add 42 to your health. It's your turn," Victor stated, his tone grave.
"Dude, I'm still stunned. You have to kill him!" Sam called, "for Amelia!"
Sebastian gave a resolute nod before scanning his sheet, a smile growing on his lips as he looked up at Victor, "I cast disintegration at level 6 on the lich."
"Holy fuck…" Amelia whispered.
"Aren't you a servant to your God or something? Are you allowed to say that?" Sam teased, hiding that he was unfamiliar with the spell. Amelia and Victor stared at Seb though in shock.
Victor blinked before shaking his head and rolling the dice. He sighed and pinched between his eyes, "failed his dex save."
Sebastian and Amelia beamed at one another before he rolled his dice.
"That's… 35…" he referenced his spell sheet, "plus 40.. 75 points of damage."
Victor glared at him, though not actually angry, his smile growing, "how do you want to do this?"
The three of them cheered, Sam pulling them into an awkward, three-person hug over the table. Amelia was hyper-aware that her face was just inches (if that) from Sebastian as a result, the hug breaking too soon.
Victor rolled his eyes, "hey, earth to Sebastian. How are you killing him?"
Sebastian cleared his throat, still beaming, "I shoot the ray from my hand while shouting 'for Amara' and watching as he falls to dust!"
Amelia pushed out her lower lip and reached over to touch his arm, "aw, Seb."
Sebastian's cheeks burn red, though he hopes no one notices.
"And with that, let's take a 15-minute break, yeah?" Victor looked around, everyone nodding in agreement.
"I'm gonna grab a smoke," Sebastian started, looking down at Amelia as he stood up, "come with me? I have a question."
Her heart fluttered, but she gave him a smile and nodded, following him outside, where it was a little colder than she thought. She wrapped her arms around herself as they stood by the lake, Sebastian lighting his cigarette.
He paused and unzipped the front of his jacket, pulling it off and wrapping it around her shoulders. His hands were no doubt shaking.
"Oh, Seb, you're in less than I was, keep your jack-"
"Nah, I'm never really cold," he said through the smoke he held in, exhaling upwards. They stood in comfortable silence for a minute or two before Amelia bumped his hip with hers.
"Did you just want to give me your jacket or did you have a question?" She teased.
"Oh," he cleared his throat, glancing down at her, "yeah, um.." he struggled, flicking the last of his ashes and pinching the scorched end off his cigarette before pocketing the butt.
"You don't have to say anything you don't want to. I wasn't trying to-"
"Sebilan has a huge… thing for Amara."
She stood there, staring up at him, " oh."
"And she's unconscious, right?" He continued as she nodded slowly, "well I can't tell you my plan obviously, but I didn't want him to " he cleared his throat, "to kiss her if you weren't okay wi-"
"She likes him too," she interjected, "a lot."
Sebastian smiled, nodding a bit as he noticed she was blushing as much as he felt he was. They went back in after a few minutes, laughing together as they walked in the room.
"It's literally been twenty minutes, " Sam groaned, "next time you guys go make out, wait until after we're all done."
Sam laughed along with Victor as Sebastian and Amelia stood shell-shocked.
"We were just talking," Sebastian mumbled as they made their way to their seats. He was starting to get nervous. Not of Amelia, but how his friends would react. Even though they KNEW that Sebilan loved her.
"You know I'm kidding," Sam reached over and ruffled both of their hair.
"Alright, alright. Seb just killed the arch-lich, disintegrating him into a pile of dust. All that remains are two rings, his staff, and…" he glanced at his notes, "a scroll. What would you guys like to do?"
"I'd like to run to Ames' body and lift her just enough to pour a greater health potion in her mouth," he smiled at Amelia who pretended to bow in thanks before Sebastian looked over at Sam who held his hands up in quiet surrender. Sam had figured out quickly the feelings weren't strictly in-game.
"Alright, that's 4d4 plus 4. Roll 'em, Ames."
She smiled and rolled, "eleven plus four," she wrote on her sheet, "I am at fifteen health."
She looked over at Sebastian, who cleared his throat, his voice not as confident as he hoped, "I just.. hold her there until she wakes up,"
"Which I do with a gasp, of course."
"I'm gonna go loot," Sam rolled his eyes, noting Sebastian's third person turned into first.
Seb laughed before continuing, "I brush hair out of her face before talking, 'thank the gods you're alright, I don't know what I would have done if you..'"
They faded to purely conversation between their heroes, Victor and Sam sharing a look before watching like it was some drama on the TV.
"'I'm okay, thanks to you,'" She glances down at her sheet for the direction, "I sit up a bit, not quite moving away from him."
"'You.. gave me the last of your health, Amara,'" he caught himself, almost saying her actual name, "'why would you do that? You could have died.'"
Amelia smiled, "'you're stronger than me. And it was our last chance to kill him, which you did.'"
"'But I could have lost you,'" Amelia's heart tugged a bit as his voice sounded genuine to the emotion, "'I don't think I would have been able to forgive myself.'"
Sam absently tossed a peanut into his mouth, Victor holding his hand out for some.
"'Luckily,' I reach up and touch your face, 'that's not something we need to worry about.'"
Sebastian sat for a moment before taking a breath, "'I don't think I can almost lose you without telling you…'" Sebastian himself pauses, "'I love you.'"
Amelia couldn't help but blush, butterflies exploding in her stomach.
It's in the game. He is in character.
Amelia smiled, Sebastian quickly adding, "and I kiss her," he turned to look at the two men, watching expectantly.
"Okay…" Victor says slowly, as though expecting more. After a long moment, Sam groans.
"For fuck's sake, guys," Victor chuckles, nodding in agreement before even hearing what Sam has to say, "we all know what that was, so just do it. "
Sebastian's face grew red as he started to protest, but Amelia, for some unknown reason, had a random bout of courage, leaning forward and cupping Seb's cheek to turn his face to hers as her lips met his a little harder than she intended. He froze for a moment, the sound of his friends' playful cheering drowned out by the blood pumping in his ears. After a second, he responded, leaning into the kiss, pulling away after he realized how it had been likely a whole minute.
" Finally, " Sam groaned as Amelia plopped back into her seat. Both her and Sebastian's faces burn crimson.
"Alright, I know we just took a break," Victor started, "but we are so ending here. That's a fantastic note to end this session on."
The rest of the table laughed, Amelia brushing her fingertips over her lip absently. Sam and Victor gathered their dice and sheets, leaving soon after.
"I'm guessing you guys have a lot of real talking to do," Sam said before closing the door behind, "or whatever else you young kids do!"
Sebastian rolled his eyes but smiled as he met her eyes again.
It wasn't even five more minutes before they kissed again, enjoying the privacy and honest words instead of fantasy thoughts.

POV: Meteora confronts Solaria (this isn't apart of the AU, I just did this for fun)
Meteora: Solaria. I have a question for you. Solaria: (rolls her eyes) What is it? Meteora: Why did you not help Mina when she was literally getting trampled by a dark magic warnicorn? Solaria: Because I realized that what I spent my life doing was wrong. And I want Mina to realize that, too. She spent pretty much her whole life acting like a racist piece of shit. Meteora: But, didn't you make her that way? Solaria: Look, she didn't have to become a Solarian Warrior if she didn't want to. If anything, I feel like she could've just left when she had the chance to. Nobody said that she had to pledge her allegiance to me. Jushtin: You know what? I've had enough of this shit. The fact that you wanna sit here and act like you're so goddamn self-righteous is actually fucking beyond me. And the fact that you say that your family mattered more to you than Mina is also beyond me. Because it seemed like you barely even cared about Eclipsa when she was a kid. And you would've especially not have approved of Meteora a couple hundred years ago. But now, you wanna switch up? Shut the actual fuck up, bitch. In my personal opinion, you just didn't wanna hold yourself accountable for your actions. So, you just put all the blame on Mina and the other Solarian Warriors. and on top of that, you actually fucking thought that me getting married was gonna help you get more people on your side? Bitch, please tell me you're fucking joking. Because no one in Spiderbite Kingdom likes you. And I especially want you to understand that you're gonna have to live with the shitty things you did for the rest of your fucking life. You wanna know what your fucking problem is? You want you and everyone else to think of yourself as the good guy. Well, I know you better than anyone, and I can tell you that you're not. In fact, I feel like you'd probably sleep a lot better at night if you just admitted to yourself that you're a selfish goddamn coward who just takes whatever she wants and doesn't give a shit about who she hurts in the process. That's you. That's Solaria Butterfly. You wanna act like you're so self-righteous for not helping Mina. But you did her wrong. And no one in this family is ever going to forgive you for the shit you've done to us. Now, leave right the fuck now. Go even learn how to play the ukelele while you're at it. I mean, you're gonna have to apologize somehow.

I would love to hear your Seth headcanons
hell yeah
Canon:
ABSOLUTELY not a pro-Mewman-genocide guy, any rumors he is are invented by racist Mewmans who believe the monsters will do the same thing to Mewmans that Mewmans have been doing to monsters if monsters are given the slightest amount of political power.
Is for changing the status quo to give monsters political power. Comet was not; she believed that the queens just had to be nice to monsters. AKA "don't change the system, change the person in charge of the system" neoliberal bullshit.
Toffee is his adopted son, and if I was writing a fifth season/continuation, he would be out for revenge for what Star did to Toffee. We'd have a massive, character-developing realization that Star is really not a good person, and she realizes she murdered someone who had barely done anything wrong, and she would have to live with that. No bs "destroying the magic was the right idea and THAT'S the problem with melting Toffee, not the MELTING part." Because, as I'll talk about soon, the only thing the show expressly tells us re: how we should feel about Toffee is that he was right to destroy magic, but that he was weird and scary and a sociopath, so we shouldn't be mourning HIM and being rightfully skeeved out that Star approached (and is still approaching! she does not grow out of this!) her problems by burning them until they died. (Again, I have evidence that she does not grow out of it. I'll provide it soon.)
Toffee's mother was murdered by proto-Solarian warriors made by Mira, the queen behind the Great Monster Massacre. Seth doesn't know if he had another parent, or even the mother's name. All Seth knows is he fought off a warrior from a monster village, and when he was surveying the damage, he found a lot of dead, including a woman who had clearly died protecting a still-living toddler. No one stepped up to claim the child, so Seth took care of him.
Seth is older than the Mewman occupation. He was a kid when the Mewmans destroyed Septarsis, which kicked off the war. He was a young adult when the Mewmans committed the Great Monster Massacre, killing every monster in sight and locking the regenerating ones in heavily enchanted boxes and throwing them into the darkest depths of Butterfly Castle. He survived uncaptured by not regenerating his injuries, playing dead, and then sneaking off when the Mewmans weren't looking, and since Mewmans weren't sure which monsters could regenerate yet, they ignored him.
Septarsis, and "Mewni" in general, were really diverse places before the Mewmans arrived. Monsters can interbreed with each other, so there weren't rigid categories like "Slime" and "septarian" and so on yet. Those terms were invented by an Old Book queen who wanted to reduce the monsters' power by dividing them. Seth thinks that's bullshit, the only useful dividing line is who has what abilities, of which there are a plethora, not just regeneration. And all monster cultures had a mix of abilities, much like humans.
Toffee gets his smarts from Seth. They worked together on strategy since Toffee was a toddler. (Toffee originally was a kid, so his battle strategies consisted of grabbing the figures representing monster armies on the map and knocking over the Mewman figures while making explosion noises. Seth acted like those were brilliant strategies and he only had a few criticisms. (Star Butterfly never grew out of such strategies.))
Seth taught Toffee Septarian, which is still a closely guarded secret.
Seth wasn't a perfect parent, though. He was never in the same place for long and constantly busy, so Toffee spent a lot of time alone.
Septarsis was a city, where Butterfly Castle is now. It was relatively peaceful, and Seth has nothing but good memories of it, what little he can remember. It is not here now, but Seth wants to reshape Butterfly Castle in its image.
Seth will not compromise his goals, but he does try to be good, and do good things.
My Fanon AU where a lot of things are different (samatfoe):
Note that a lot of this will be either alluded to or stated outright in samatfoe s5, but I might as well tell you now!
Seth became the leader of the Beacon of Hope at fifty, which was impressively young. Sílthéy (their Glossaryck) thought he had promise, but wasn't the final arbitrator of that. No, the reason the Septarsis Council put him in charge of a Beacon (basically a town) was his unflinching devotion to peace and solving things without violence.
It was clear, three years later, with Septarsis becoming a smoking crater with only one survivor, that his devotion would be tested.
Seth did not join the fight. He lead his people through rebuilding and defense, but never actually picked up a weapon himself. He tried his best to negotiate with the Butterflys, but eventually let Toffee, who had been chosen as Sílthéy's sword and magic, have free reign of dealing with them. Not even Seth could undo what they had done to themselves.
Toffee, for their (nonbinary) part, learned from Seth the art of negotiating and solving things non-violently, if possible. They never claimed Seth (or anyone) as their parent, as their parents had died with Old Septarsis, but Seth did raise them, when he had the time. Now, the Butterflys rarely allowed Toffee to negotiate, instead leaping right to trying to kill them, but they did at least try every time.
Seth became the de-facto leader of Septarsis to Mewmans. As his notoriety among them rose, so did the attempts on his life. He continued showing up to negotiations for a while, but as the centuries wore on and he started getting older, Toffee took on more and more of his duties, sometimes pretending via illusions to be him.
Seth actually didn't mind Crescenta as a Mewman queen. Sure she was slippery, and underhanded, and a terrible person, but at least she tried to pretend to not solve everything with violence. He didn't like her, but at least she allowed him to negotiate. And then it was revealed that she'd secretly been casting a deadly magical plague on political opponents that had only avoided him because of diligent effort by Toffee, and he was less appreciative.
Toffee assassinated Crescenta via a version of her own plague spell, modified so that it wouldn't spread. Sadly, due to Glossaryck's Prophecy, they couldn't end the Mewman line right then, but at least Rhina the Riddled was much less prone to... experimentation.
Not long after this, Seth died, with many things unfinished. But he'd lived a long life, and became a ghost with the desire to end Mewni's colonization as his unfinished business.
Toffee still uses his likeness when appearing to things as themself would be too inconvenient. It's what Seth (and Seth's ghost) would've wanted.

Solarina (Solaria x Mina) Headcanons
Tumblr media
Original headcanons
Ao3 version
• A village is being attacked by evil, vile monsters, and it’s up to Queen Solaria to save the day!
• While Solaria is in battle with the barbaric beasts, peasant girl Mina, now a warrior in training, was given an order by the queen to hold and watch Baby Eclipsa for her at a safe distance while still witnessing the great fight.
• Both Mina and Baby Eclipsa cheer on Solaria, with Baby Eclipsa clapping for her mother and making the most adorable baby noises.
• While fighting, the warrior queen was struck by a monster with a surprise attack and sent flying into a house.
Mina: (A horrific gasp) Your majesty!
Baby Eclipsa: (Babbles in sad baby gibberish that is somewhat understandable) Mama!
• The monsters roar in triumph. When Solaria slowly gets up, a drop of blood is present at the corner of her mouth. Wiping it away, she sends the brutes a death glare as she screams in fury and charges towards them.
• Solaria now goes on the attack against those monsters, showing them NO mercy whatsoever. Eclipsa, seeing that her mother is okay, goes back to cheering her on while Mina’s cheeks tint pink.
• 'Wow. Oh my. Queen Solaria… she’s… she’s… so strong.' she thought, admiring the physical strength of the shaved-headed queen.
• It doesn’t matter how big the monster enemy may be. As a young solarian warrior, Mina swears to protect and defend the great Queen Solaria from harm, even if it means losing her life in the process.
• As Solaria is sitting on her throne writing entire pages of horrific and violent ways to dispatch monsters, Mina, her best warrior, stands beside her. Mina would occasionally take a few glances at Solaria and smile to herself. The woman in purple pigtails couldn't help it, she just found the queen to be absolutely brilliant and beautiful. When Solaria catches Mina sneaking a look at her, Mina gets flustered and quickly looks away, stuttering an apology. “M-My apologies, my queen. Forgive me for staring.”
• You know Mina bragged to the other warriors about how Solaria liked her best.
• Mina ensured that Solaria’s tapestry was ALWAYS clean. If SO MUCH as a speck of dirt landed on the picture, she was fast to clean it off.
• What present Mina most likely dreams about: her laughing and holding onto an extremely happy Solaria as the two ride a large hotdog like a surfboard on a sea of dead monster bodies. Donuts with wings fly about like birds. A childlike drawing of the sun and a crescent moon are smiling in the background.
• Mina: (Laughs hysterically) Ah, hahahaha ha! (To Solaria) Oh, my queen, this is wonderful! I’m having so much fun spending time with you! (Blushes as her eyes gleam with excitement) Forget about that Alphonse guy! Let’s you and I travel the galaxy and eradicate all the dirty monsters together!
...
Mina: You shouldn’t be anywhere near the monsters! As a queen, you’re too important! You need protection!
Eclipsa: I most certainly do not!
Mina: Yes, you do!
Eclipsa: NO!
Mina:(With tears in her eyes) UGH! WHY WON’T YOU JUST LET ME PROTECT YOU, SOLARIA!
Eclipsa:(Taken aback by Mina mentioning her mother) S-Solaria?! What does she have to do with this?
Mina: (Sniffles, speaking to herself) If only you’d let me protect you. Why didn’t you? You’d still be here.
...
Mina had a bouquet of roses in one hand and a snookers in the other as she walked somberly down the graveyard path.
She soon found the tombstone she was looking for.
Name: Solaria The Monster Carver
Fate: Slain during a monster ambush
Mina smiled a sad smile as she spoke. “It’s been awhile, my queen…”
She held up the candy bar. “I, uh, brought you a snack. Hope you like it.”
She set the bouquet and chocolate bar down on the past queen’s grave.
After a sigh, tears welled up in her eyes. “If only I was there to protect you, you’d still be here. I’d rather it have be me than you."
Forming a fist, Mina tightened it. "Ugh, those no good monsters are going to get theirs someday."
Gazing back down at Solaria's grave, Mina's eyes and voice got soft. "You…" She sniffled, wiping her watery eyes with her arm.
Composing herself, Mina continued with her heartfelt words.
"You made me feel so many things, but…now that you’re gone,…I don’t know what to feel. I…I wonder if you can still see me somehow. If you can, what would you think of me?”
The ghost of Solaria Butterfly suddenly appears behind Mina. She places her a gentle hand on the young woman’s shoulder. “Oh Mina. My most loyal and devoted warrior. Even after death, you still believe in me. I think…you’re wonderful.”

Sebastian x Reader
The rain was pouring down upon Pelican town as I walked up to the mountains. Sam and Sebastian had Recently found out that I was an avid fan of The Solarian Chronicles and Sam had been begging me to play with them so here I was walking up on a rainy Thursday night to geek out. As I stepped inside I heard the bell chime and began to walk down the Sebastian's lair. Creeking opens the door I could hear the two bickering.
"Come on Seb just say it!"
"Sam No, I will never give up my dignity to say it"
"But broski?" I could hear Sam pouting and opened the door
"Sebastian's your Broski now Huh?"I teased Sam as his cheeks flushed pink
"well not anymore unless he can admit that Warriors are a better role than Wizards" Sam retorted back. I began to see Seb Shaking his head and sighing as he finished setting the bored up.
"Wizards have higher intelligence and an actually skill unlike waving pointy sticks around."Sebastian fired back at him as I set my bag down and took a seat.Sam looked very offended after what he said.
"Wizards also wave a stick around and they don't get the Babes!" Sam looked smug as he pointed this out to Sebastian.
"Babes?" I asked
"Yeah who doesn't want a smoking hot warrior to save them and no ones gonna want and old  Grandpa Seb the wizard to save them"
"Hey! I'm only 21"
"Like I said Old"
"Hey you too settle down or well never get to play"I stated trying to get them to settle down
"Yeah, Gramps!"Sam sassed back at Sebastian as if he was the one to start it all.jeez sometimes I wonder how the two became friends one music playing hyperactive pineapple head and the other a frog loving emo boy. It really was an example of an Extrovert adopting an introvert.
"Let's just get to the game" Sebastian grumbled as he shuffled the cards and gave us our character sheets. The game was on! As the story went on our group traveled through deep dwarves mines infected with goblins.
It twas an epic battle as our heros ventured through the mines with the Mighty Sameth slaying any who came across his path and Seb The Wise cast illusion spells while I did nothing.I tried but there was no point in being a healer when there was no healing to be done. As the game was wrapping up we came up to the boss level.I thought it would be a breeze considering how easily it was before, but before we knew it Sam and Sebastian were down.
"Come on yn heal me" Sam looked at me expecting me to roll the dice.
"Or the me Could do more damage than a my wit" Sebastian suggested giving Sam a look.
"Come on yn do it for me so I can save the Babes."
"There all dwarves though"
"Babe dwarves?"
I looked down and rolled the dice I had enough mama to heal one.everyone watched as I made my decision.
"I'll heal up the wizard"  I announced
"But the Babes yn the Babes" Sam shook his head at me
"Thanks yn" Seb said as he rolled the dice to cast a spell ending the boss.
As I got ready to go I heard the thunder roar in the distance. Oof I better run home or get electrocuted.
"Well guys I need to get going before it gets to late" I turned to the stairs and began to walk up.
"Wait yn!" Seb shouted
I turned around as he was grabbing and umbrella."Here let me walk you home" he said as he came up to me
" Ooh good Idea sebby won't you walk me home too" Sam teased as he grabbed his stuff and began to walk up with us.As we stood outside the rain was still coming down but it didn't seem to bad.
"Hey yn!" Sam shouted snap I h me out of my thoughts as we tried back to town.
"Yes?"
"How come you chose to heal Seb instead of me huh?" Sam teased while I knew what he was trying to do.
"Well if I chose to save you it we probably would have lost" I stated smugly looking at him
"Le gasp you wound me yn!" He said placing a hand over his heart.
"Come on drama queen were at your stop" Seb said placing a hand on Sam's shoulder.
"Hmph,Wouldn't you at least kiss me goodnight Sebby dear" Sam teased.
"Sorry Sam you're not my type" and with that Sebastian shoved Sam through the front door.
As we walked to my farm I saw lightning dancing in the distance.
"Ah um thanks for coming tonight yn"
Sebastian scratched the back of his head as he looked at me.
"No problem I always love hanging out with you"
I smiled sweetly at him as I spoke, damn i could of said it a lot cooler. As i scolded myself I was brought out of my thoughts as I saw pinkish to tint to Sebastian's cheeks.
"Um thanks yn,well here's your stop" he spoke gently as I walked up the steps. As he turned around I did something I never thought I'd say.
"Not even a goodnight kiss?" I heard myself asking as I looked at him Suddenly he stoped and turned around ran right and kissed me right in the lips and hopped off the porch.
"Night yn!" He shouted running off ears tomato red. My face was probably just as red .I mean what just happened.I just ended up kissing the cutest boy in all of Pelican Town in the middle of a rainstorm on my front porch.
"Hot damn" I spoke as I gently opened the front door. Maybe moving to Pelican Town was the best idea I've ever had after all I just got to kiss the sweetest boy in the whole world.

5 - the new student who wants to learn (5)
In Diana and Selene's absence, the Boys of Destiny took responsibility for ______'s training, helping her to hone her powers and improve her combat techniques, in the hope of recovering her memories as Princess Dalia in this way. With beaming eyes and a determined smile on his face, Eugene teleported her to Tritonis. Located 60 km from the Silver Palace, Tritonis is one of the provinces conquered by the Coronas Plateadas and also home to the colossal ruins of the Celestial Arena. Once an imposing structure perched above the Silver Millennium, they now found themselves in a state of decay and disrepair. The arena, which was once the scene of epic battles between celestial warriors, and iconic conflicts between Solarian soldiers from El Dourado and Lunar fighters from the Silver Millennium, was now in ruins, with collapsed walls and broken columns. The vaulted ceiling, which used to be ornamented with scenes of celestial battles, now had large holes that allowed sunlight to penetrate inside. The stadium floor was littered with broken stones and rubble, and the stands that used to seat thousands of spectators were now empty and covered in moss. Some of the marble staircases leading up to the stands were still intact, but many others had collapsed.
Despite its decay, it still exuded an aura of grandeur and mystery. Its walls and columns were decorated with intricate carvings and geometric patterns that seemed to move and change shape as the sunlight changed position. In some spots, fragments of colorful mosaics could still be seen, reminding visitors that the arena was once a masterpiece of celestial art and architecture.
Regardless of its current seemingly useless condition, the ancient Celestial Arena is still a sacred place to many denizens of the Silver Millennium, where its walls tell tales of how the strongest celestial warriors fought to defend their worlds and their royalty. The ruins continued to exude a sense of power and grandeur even in their decayed state, a testament to the greatness that was once lunar civilization.
Eugene's chest filled with euphoria as he looked at the majestic ruins, remembering his History of Magic lessons given by Selene and DK, but ______ remained indifferent to his excitement.
"Oh ______, don't you think this place is amazing?"
"Where are we again?"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHERE ARE WE?!?!?!" Eugene yelled "This is the grand Celestial Arena! Iconic setting of the Eclipse War! A masterpiece of Silver Millennial architecture!"
"To you, because to me this is all a useless bunch of broken rocks." _____ rolled his eyes
"Are you kidding me? It was here that your highness commanded an army of Lunari mages and high-ranking warriors from the Corona Plateadas to drive the Solaris and an echelon of enhanced humans with Sun magic from Tritonis!"
"And she won?"
"SHE WON!" the young paladin shouted
"Wow! What does Selene offer you that is so good to talk about her with such animation and eloquence?"
"She gave us everything! A place in her kingdom, new adventures, knowledge and the authority to silence your rants and start training!"
"If you insist." _____ laughed through his nose
Eugene and ______ were in position, ready to begin magical combat training. The paladin had his holy sword drawn, while the reincarnated fairy princess floated in the air with a determined look in her eyes.
He began to move quickly, using his teleportation ability to get closer to the fairy princess. She, in turn, used her gravity control powers to create a barrier that prevented the paladin from advancing. He tried to lash out with his sword, but she used her telekinesis to dodge the blow.
He charged forward, lunging with his sword as _____ dodged deftly and hurled small blue balls of light in his direction. He defended himself with his sword, blocking each attack with precision.
So she decided to change her tactics. She closed her eyes and concentrated on her telepathy power, reading Eugene's thoughts to discover her weaknesses. She found he was thinking of one of the ancient statues, especially those representing Selene's ancient guardians.
She opened her eyes and focused on one of the statues of Artemis, the oldest of Selene's guardians. She channeled her telekinetic power, making the statue move and appear to approach Eugene. The paladin was momentarily distracted, allowing her to attack with more intensity.
He realized her friend's delusion and quickly composed himself, lunging forward and slashing with his sword. With no time to dodge, she was hit and fell to the ground, but she got up immediately.
"I have to admit, you are becoming a strong opponent, _____" said Eugene, with a smile. "But there's still a lot to learn."
The two looked at each other for a moment, before pulling away from each other. They knew they still had a lot to learn and perfect in their magical combat powers, but they were willing to put in the effort to become stronger. After all, they would have to be ready to protect the Silver Millennium from any threat.

Sooha, after winning last year's battle against Dardan, the Prime Vampire, has been reborn as Selen, princess of Opole, a cold kingdom 65 km north of the capital of the Silver Millennium. Known for its stalwart Emerald Grape vines and prime boar meat, Opole, once a kingdom whose Lunari were enslaved by Dardan in a darkness that seemed eternal, its now free, but Sooha had made a great sacrifice to stop them and his vampires from New Moon. She absorbed the blood and spirit of Vahgr, the wolf-god, thus awakening her powers as a Lunari princess, giving up her mortality to fight alongside Heli and his brothers. Now, she had transformed into a semi-mortal woman, more powerful and confident and endowed with an enviable beauty for her future subjects.
Her hair, once dark and silky, now became a cascade of silver strands, shining like the moonlight, cascading down her shoulders, highlighting her deep, piercing blue eyes. Her skin took on a pale, radiant, almost ethereal hue, complemented by her peach-sweet rosy lips. Her pale skin seems lit by moonlight, and her delicate but determined features convey her newfound strength and power. She is dressed in a long ice-blue formal gown embroidered with silver threads that shimmer in the moonlight. The dress has long sleeves and a high collar that protects her from the bitter cold of Opole's kingdom. Her feet are covered in brown leather boots that go up to the knee, providing protection from snow and ice. She was sitting at her oak desk, with a stack of History of Magic books stacked in front of her. Her tutor, a gray-haired wise old man, sat beside her, reading silently as she flipped through the pages. As she read the stacked books, some of her past life memories flashed back with each lunar cycle, but still she had a lot to learn about her lineages, so the tutor was responsible for updating her on the new customs of this new Lunar Empire. He, a gray-haired wise old man, sat beside her, reading in silence as she flipped through the pages. He was reading aloud from an ancient book about the lineage of Lunari queens and their deeds.
"Interesting, isn't it?" The tutor remarked, his gaze lifting from his tome. "All matrons of the Kynthos lineage are renowned for their potent sorcery and just governance. They have been the architects of numerous notable accomplishments within the realm of wizardry, amassing devotees with each lunar cycle and amassing triumphs against the nefarious Sun Empire."
"So, is there any chance that I will one day become the Queen of the Silver Millennium?" she asked the tutor, with a hint of hope in her voice.
"Verily, nay, Your Grace."
"What? Why not?"
"Since the ascension of Queen Selene I, hath been established a tribal royal matriarchy within thine empire. Each house of the Lunari elite doth select its representative, and a Celestial Assembly is opened every 3,000 years to elect the next Mother Moon to assume the throne."
"So even with my powers awake..." she asked wistfully
The tutor shook his head in response.
"Apologies, my princess, but neither thy lineage, nor the house to which Your Excellency belongs, hath been revealed. This doth signify that thou shalt have to await the next Celestial Assembly, in approximately 3000 years' time, when the next mother-moon shall be chosen."
Sooha lowered her head in dismay. She has always wondered about her future and wondered if one day she would be able to rule over the Silver Millennium. But now, the thought of waiting another 3000 years to find out if she had a chance seemed like an eternity.
"That's a long time! How can I wait so long to discover my destiny?"
The tutor stood up." Thou art young, my lady. Thou hast much time ahead and much to learn. Who knows what the future holds?
She sighed and nodded. She knew her tutor was right. There was so much she needed to know and a lot to keep preparing for any eventuality. After all, she was still a Lunari princess in training and had important responsibilities to fulfill.
With that in mind, she turned her attention back to History of Magic classes, determined to learn all she could about the Lunari queens' lineage and the Silver Millennium's future, with her professor about to emerge from the bookshop to give her privacy to pursue her studies, but just as she was about to leave, the princess asked about an image in her book: a silhouette of a tall woman, with long flowing straight white hair who was wearing a long white dress and a silver crown on top of her head. In her hands she held tightly her staff that emanated an intense silver light, with black chains of pure malachite pointed towards another woman, whose long black hair fell in a cascade over her shoulders, like a cloud of darkness. Her eyes were an intense red glow, with an expression of fury on her face.
"Sir Marek, what is this?"
"Sadly, thou hast uncovered a dark chapter in thy history, Majesty: the Triad Civil War."
"Triad, Civil War?" she asked in a terrified tone
Marek grabbed the book off her desk, open to that dreaded chapter in the History of Magic. With his hands he invoked his illusion magic to show those images, as he told the story.
"The Triad Civil War began when the New Moon Witch and her army of corrupted vampires invaded the Silver Millennium. The newly crowned Queen Selene, in her youth, led her mother Diana's troops to combat the threat, but the witch was a powerful sorceress, and her dark abilities were difficult to confront. The battle was long, and many lives were lost. However, eventually, Selene managed to drive out the witch and her followers to Alexandrite, which once was a sanctuary of pure moon magic. Sadly, corruption, hatred, and the thirst for revenge spread throughout the kingdom in the form of an intense, toxic, and corrosive mist in shades of red, purple, and dark green, pure darkness. Thus, Alexandrite transformed into Obsidian, a ruined realm filled with dark magic, nightmares, and tormented spirits. It became a frightening and perilous place that no one dares to visit."
Sooha listened attentively to the story and imagined what would become of that place. She wondered if the New Moon witch was still there, ruling over the corrupted vampires and guessed that her dear friends from Decelis Academy might be those vampires. She felt a shiver run down her spine just thinking about it and shook her head to skake it off this thought.
"What happened with the New Moon Witch?" She asked.
"Verily, Your Highness, no soul knoweth for certain. 'Tis said she doth still reside there, ruling Obsidian with an iron fist. Yet, there be no recent accounts of visitors to the realm, or if there be any, they ne'er hath been made known, for those who dared venture into Obsidian were consumed by the New Moon's corruption and never did return." he answered.
She closed the book and looked out the window, wondering what was going on in Obsidian right now. She wondered if she would ever be strong enough to face the witch and her followers. She was determined to find out. If her destiny as a princess was to stop her, she will train hard until that impure woman's sins are paid for.

Solaria is a city built around a huge arena, surrounded by high walls of golden stone, located in the center of the El Dorado Empire. The city has a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, and is known as the most renowned military training center in the empire, where the strongest and most skilled soldiers are trained to serve the Horak, the Solari army.
The arena is the heart of Solaria, and is used to train and test soldiers' combat skills. It is a large circle of yellow sand, surrounded by raised stands, where high-ranking officers watch training and mock battles. Surrounding the arena are many barracks, training academies, meditation areas, and classrooms where soldiers learn the most advanced tactics and strategy.
Its buildings are all built in golden stone, with details in red and orange, the colors of the sun. There are many sun flags throughout the site, symbolizing the soldiers' loyalty to the empire and the sun. The city is bustling and noisy, with soldiers in training marching through the streets and officers moving around in carriages.
It is also known for its golden tower working as a meeting place for elite Solari diplomats, who come to discuss treaties and political agreements with the empire. There are many luxury hotels and fine restaurants in the city, catering to the needs of diplomats. However, the atmosphere is still dominated by militarism and loyalty to the sun, which are the foundations of the El Dorado empire.
Now Diana and Selene were in the meeting room, ready to negotiate a peace treaty between the Empires of the Sun and the Moon. Diana sat in a chair, while Selene stood beside her, her hands clasped in front of her. In front of her was a large table, with representatives of the El Douradorian elite seated on the other side. Among them are Ra, ambassador of El Dorado, Marshal Surya, leader of Golden Vanguard warriors, Vivasvan, nephew of Apollo, judge of the house of Delos, the family responsible for the Judiciary power of the empire, Inti, priest of the Golden Temple and Nefrita, healer and leader of the Farmers of Medicinal Plants. Everyone was seated at a round table, with Diana and Selene in front of them.
"Thank you for the invitation, ambassadors." Selene and Diana bowed.
"The honor is ours, Scorn of the Moon." Vivasvan bowed back
"My nephew was right to summon you, as we face an emergency situation!"
"Well, say it." Diana exclaimed in a firm voice
"Hordes of shadows are attacking our roadside and scaring away tourists from our Empire! Something needs to be done!" dictated Surya
"We understand. What can we do to get around this situation?"
"We demand that Clan Kynthos take responsibility for this crisis!" roared Ra
"This is nonsense, Ambassador!" The soldier slammed both hands on the table and stood up "Our family has no involvement in these attacks!"
"How not? Hecate, the unholy witch you consider your daughter, was in power millennia ago." accused Apollo "Didn't you stop to think that your daughter might be sending these shadows to seize the throne and thus plot a coup against our glorious Empire?"
And for over 2 hours, Diana and the Solari ambassadors argued and verbally abused each other, losing control of their mental faculties, generating a massive wave of negative energy, one that Selene could see from a thousand miles away. outside the hall, Selene also saw lurking shadows feeding on this aura. For a long time she was silent, watching them trade insults and vilify their authorities, until 3 hours later, she got up and angrily slammed her fist under the table.
"ENOUGH!" Selene screamed, her brow furrowed and her teeth as white as moonlight clenched together. "ENOUGH OF THESE BASELESS INUSTS!"
"HOW DARE YOU, LITTLE GIRL!?" Apollo snapped "WHO ARE YOU TO RAISE YOUR VOICE WITH US?!?!"
"I am Selene, Silver Millennium's queen and future empress of Elysium! As the highest authority of the Kynthos clan, I will not tolerate my family being slandered in this way! If this is the ONLY way to negotiate peace between the Sun and Moon peoples, then I will refuse your preposterous conditions! As long as I live, our Lunari kind won't no longer…"
"DAUGHTER, WATCH OUT!"
The marshal of the Corona Plateadas noticed that one of the shadows was going to hurt her with its poisonous malachite claws, but with her silver steel katana, with its curved and sharp tip, she cut the hand that would attack her daughter.
"Everyone, get out of here! This is an ambush!" Diana ordered
A dark green toxic and corrosive mist raged across Solaria. The Solarian citizens suffocated, intoxicated by the evil mist. But Diana and Selene, the Lunari leaders, were not intimidated, with the swing of Selene's staff, they teleported out of the arena and directly confronted the shadows, however, these shadows were different from the others, they were taller, more robust and they had an almost indestructible physical body that regenerates with each injured member, even so, they advanced and struck tirelessly in the hope of finding a weak point for those creatures, however, Diana lost her daughter in the pursuit. Cornered like a silverwing caged by a hunter, the marshal tries to move in the face of the fog, but is hit by a sudden movement in her back. Due to the force of the blow, she let her sword slip from her fingers, losing her body balance until she fell unconscious on her stomach. At the same time that her mother was slaughtered, Selene felt her heart sink. After expelling the shadows from a tapestry stall in the open market, she noticed the mist lifting and ran towards the battle site, but only found a still, pale and bloody body, with a huge tear in her dress and an open wound. in your column. The mother moon knelt down and let her boiling tears of anger fall on her face. She dug her nails into the sand and lifted her head, screaming her chest open. Next to her was Nefrita and her healer followers, still confused and in shock from the attack on the tower, Nefrita asked with a hand placed on the mother moon's shoulder.
"Mrs.Kynthos, what happened?"
However, Selena's time seemed to run out again, when he saw clouds of darkness covering the golden and burning sun of Solaria. Meanwhile, footsteps of shadows covered the ground, accompanied by a tall woman in the center, that was Melinoe, the Shadow Caller.
Melinoe, the Shadow Caller, exudes an aura of enigmatic allure. With long, flowing ebony locks cascading down her back, she is the embodiment of darkness personified. Her eyes, a mesmerizing shade of deep malachite, seem to hold the secrets of the night itself, hinting at the power she wields.
Clad in a flowing cloak of midnight black, adorned with intricate silver symbols, she moves with an ethereal grace. Her slender fingers, adorned with darkened rings, effortlessly command the shadows to dance at her will. Her pale complexion contrasts against the darkness surrounding her, further accentuating her mysterious presence.
Melinoe's attire is a reflection of her connection to the shadows. She wears a gown of black silk, fitted yet flowing, as if it were crafted from the essence of darkness itself. Intricate patterns of silver, green and red thread traced in the edges, shimmering in the faint light. A medley of feathers and chains hang delicately from her waist, each carrying a hint of ancient magic.
As she glides through the shadows, her voice resonates like a haunting melody, invoking a sense of both fear and fascination. Her enchanting presence is a testament to her mastery over the shadows, drawing all who witness her into the depths of her enigmatic world. She stands as a captivating figure towards the Mother Moon with a malicious smile as she watches Selene growl in anger. Her deep blue eyes didn't stray from the witch for even a minute and his teeth clenched, brow furrowed and fists clenched, showed complete hostility towards the witch. tThe witch grinned with the queen's despair, leaving those who encountered her in both awe and trepidation.
"Greetings, Your Majesty." Melinoe said
"Miss, what does all that mean?" The healer asked in shock.
"We have no time to lose." she responded by handing her mother's body over to Nefrita's arms. "Take my mother as far away as you can."
The queen got up panting and tried to punch the woman, but she dodged it easily. Shadows dance around Melinoe and Selene as they engage in an intense battle. Selene, driven by fury and determination, launches luminous attacks with her lunar energy, while Melinoe summons darkness to envelop her in a mist of shadows.
Selene fights with all her might, her sword gleaming silver as she swings in with quick, accurate slashes. However, Melinoe, skilled in her dark art, dodges with agility and counterattacks with sinister spells, seeking to weaken her opponent.
Despite the queen's best efforts, she finds herself at a disadvantage in the face of her dark magic. Every blow she lands is blocked or dispelled by the shadows, and she feels the weariness weigh on her wounded body. Determined to avenge her injured mother, she draws on all her reserves of energy, but it doesn't seem to be enough.
With a heavy heart and heavy breathing, she kneels on the ground, feeling her impending defeat. Tears of frustration and anger slide down her cheeks as she looks up at dark sky, seeking the strength to carry on.
In the midst of despair, Selene closes her eyes and her lips move in a silent prayer. Waves of silver energy envelop her body and propagate through the air, depositing the maximum hope from the bottom of her heart, expecting that her prayer will be answered.
A/N: New chapter at the NEW moon? Not much usual, but since this chapter has relevance for the future, I needed to post it like this.
A/N²: Also, for everyone's happiness (or unhappiness), Sooha is back.

Flufftober Day 16 - “I hate you” — “I love you too”
@flufftober
Fandom: Stardew Valley
Pairing: Sebastian x Reader
Word Count: 1222
Reader Pronouns: She/Her
Warnings: Cursing
This is one chapter of an entire linear story! It can be read separately but is better when read as a whole. Enjoy!
❤❤❤❤♡♡♡♡
You’ve never really considered yourself a tabletop board game person, but when Sam invites you along to his session of Solarian Chronicles with Sebastian, your curiosity is piqued enough for you to say yes.
The next Thursday evening, you meet up with Sam and the two of you walk to Sebastian’s house together, where they’ll show you the ropes of the game and you’ll run through a very basic campaign together. It is exciting to be trying something new for once. You hope you’ll enjoy it and maybe this can be another weekly activity on top of Fridays at the saloon.
When you get to Sebastian’s house, he opens the door before you even reach it, beckoning you inside with a wave of his arm. He seems to be quite excited because he doesn’t even wait for you before hurrying into the basement.
Sebastian’s room looks mostly the same as usual, except for the table he has set up in the corner, which is now full of papers and miscellaneous dice. Sebastian and Sam both sit down, looking very comfortable, so you follow their lead and sit down as well.
“Welcome, (Y/N), to your very first game of Solarian Chronicles,” says Sebastian. “I set up a campaign for us to play today, and it’s a short one, so we should be able to get through it all in just a few hours.
“How do I play?” you ask, looking confusedly at all the random papers and dice of all sizes that you’ve never even seen before.
“It’s pretty simple, I’ve already made a few character sheets so you just have to choose whether you’d rather be a warrior, healer, or wizard.”
“Warrior sounds pretty straightforward. Just stabbing things, right?”
“...sure. But once you’ve got your class picked, we’ll run through the campaign, and you’ll have to make decisions for your character and determine how well they go by rolling dice.” Sebastian gestures around the table at the dice strewn around. “The most common is what we call a D-Twenty, twenty being the best number and one being the worst.”
“Sounds simple enough.”
“It’s not too bad,” Sam assures you. “I want to be the healer though, if she’s being the warrior.
“I’ll take the wizard, then.” Sebastian gathers together some of the papers and taps them on the table to straighten them out. Once he makes sure that everyone is ready, he starts to read.
The game is pretty easy to get the hang of, and two hours later, when the three of you are walking into the boss’ castle, you actually feel quite excited to be taking down the imaginary antagonist. Sebastian doubles up on leading you through the castle by reading his sheets of paper and fighting along with you, which is impressive, how he manages to switch between both so seamlessly. You figure that he must have gotten used to it, having only Sam to play with him.
After a trek through the castle, you finally make it to the boss room, where Sebastian describes a large demon creature made of fire and smoke. It gives a little bit of dialogue, but then Sebastian has you all roll dice to see who goes first in battle; highest number gets priority.
You end up going first with a roll of 17, and you decide to go a simple route and aim to stab the demon in the heart. Sebastian asks you to roll the dice to see if you hit, which you do with a 16, and then you get to roll for damage.
You pick up the D20 once again and shake it around in your hands, feeling somehow that a lot is relying on this dice roll. Your hands separate and the D20 falls to the table, clinking a few times on the surface before landing on…
…a natural 20.
Sebastian’s jaw drops, and he scrambles for one of his papers, asking, “How much is your attack modifier!?”
“Um, plus four, I think?”
“You just one-shot my fucking boss!” Sebastian drops the paper he had picked up, staring at you in complete disbelief. “I had this whole ass boss fight planned and you killed him in one hit!”
“I’m, uh, sorry?” you say, unable to hold back some snickers when you see Sebastian’s face. Sam snickers beside you as well.
“I hate you so much,” groans Sebastian, his head falling down to rest on the table. “This was going to be so cool.”
“You don’t hate me!” you argue. “You’re just mad I dominated during my first campaign.”
“Exactly. Hatred.”
“Oh, shut up. You know you love me.” The words are out of your mouth before you really think about them, and both Sebastian and Sam look at you in slight surprise. “Like. You know you like me. Fuck.”
“Aww, Sebastian, she loves you,” teases Sam. You shoot him a panicked glare.
“I said he loves me!” you cry. “And I didn’t even mean that!”
“It’s alright, (Y/N),” Sebastian chuckles. “But since you’ve defeated my boss, yada yada, final dialogue, campaign over. Good job.”
It’s a little underwhelming, after a whole adventure just ending it like that, but you’re still pretty content. Checking the time though, you realize you should be heading home if you want to get a good night’s sleep. You inform Sebastian and Sam of this.
“I’ll see you out,” says Sebastian, standing up from the table with you. “Back in a second, Sam.”
You head up the stairs to the main level of the house, Sebastian following right behind, and when you get there you discover the notable absence of anyone else. Usually Robin is at her desk or Demitrius is in his lab, so it’s strange to see the house empty.
“Mom and Demitrius are outside,” Sebastian explains. “They like to sit by the cliff together in the evenings.”
“That’s really cute,” you answer, but the roll of Sebastian’s eyes shows that he doesn’t agree. You figure it’s a touchy subject so you distract him by saying, “Thanks for having me over.”
“I just hope you had fun, even though you ruined my awesome boss fight,” Sebastian replies with a grin. “But anyway, thanks to you too for coming.”
“Have a good night, Sebastian.”
“Yeah, you too. Get home safe.” Sebastian opens the front door for you and you wave goodbye, departing out into the night.
When you get back to your house, you pull out your phone and see that Sebastian has messaged you. It’s one of the first times he ever has, aside from the occasional text asking if you’ll be going to the saloon or something similar. When you check the message though, all it says is, I don’t actually hate you.
I know, you text back, but thanks for clarifying anyway :)
You don’t expect another reply, but your phone buzzes just a few seconds later. You’re sure you liked the game? It wasn’t too nerdy or anything?
You look at the time, realizing that it’s already past nine and you’re feeling pretty tired, but talking to Sebastian seems like a better option than sleeping. You reply, and within another few seconds, he’s gotten back to you, and you’re having a full-on conversation.
You both wake up the next morning with your phones still clutched in your hands.

Tattoo Customs in the Solar Islands
Tumblr media
One of the major prospects of general Solarian culture is their tattooing systems!
Tattoo systems throughout the lands play a prominent role in a variety of ways. Some carry the idea that by gaining these tattoos would it earn good fortune and prosperity for the bearer’s future. Others say these tattoos act as a way to commemorate to their ancestors and the very nature they live. Nevertheless, a common belief that is shared among the solarians is that to in order to cross into the afterlife and join their ancestors, one must receive their necessary tattoos in order to pass on peacefully and properly.
In this case, the tattoo examples shown above is a system followed by several groups within the North-Eastern regions of the Solar Islands—with this group being known as the Natuyutas (those who live in the Central part of a valley known as Natulog Nga Yuta or “Sleeping Land”). The purpose for tattoos in this region depend mainly on the role of gender, but is and can be flexible.
Common Tattoo Motifs & Symbols
Though designs can vary, some of the most common include the following:
Diamond Snake Skin
Lizard/Reptilian Scales
Croco-Catfish Teeth
Vine Centipedes
Elemental Symbols
Backflowers
There could also be other motifs that are shared among other tribal groups but are not as common as the 6 shown.
Diamond Snake Skin, Croco-Catfish (or crocodiles), & Vine Centipedes references to them being some of the most sacred animals in the Philippines.
In numerous enthic groups, snakes are considered to be messengers of or are ancestors, as well as signs of good omen. They bring good luck and prosperity and thus are kept around. This goes the same for crocodiles as they are believed to be an ancestor in a different form. This is why after hunting their first kill, young men are required to feed their kill to a croco-catfish as it is an offering to their ancestor (this was a real life practice that has long died out except for the Ilokano as they refer it to as “panangyatang”). As for lizards, lizards are also seen as messengers of spirits or ancestors and bringers of good news. For centipedes, they are an omen animal within many Igorot groups in which while they follow the common belief of being messengers and good omens, they are also tattooed for numerous reasons. If you are a shaman or a warrior, you get a full centipede (or gayaman) tattoo. If other, you will only receive the head and/or legs (symbol of ancestry to both maternal & paternal sides) of the centipede.
As for the Elemental, these are more or less made up in order to expand upon the practice of the Solarians, as well as some extensions rooting from the Avatar!world. Elemental tattoos are more so self explanatory—only they not only display the design of the bender, they also bear the inked patterns of the other element the other parent has (i.e. one parent is an earthbender and the other is a waterbender—thus their child would bear the tattoos of both water and earth. If the child is a waterbender, water would be inked above earth). This can also apply to nonbenders.
For Backflowers, they usually come in the form of the Sun, Moon, and Eclipse drawn as flowers. They are typically given to the bearer as a mark of adulthood and a key to a long prosperous life-to-afterlife. The Sun is seen as a masculine symbol among many native groups, thus given to men when they receive their first tattoos. The Moon is a commonly known feminine symbol and given to women when they reach of age, but is also very flexible and can be given to those of queer identities due to the Phases of the Moon. The Eclipse is a combination of the Sun and Moon—overlapping them together as its given to those of queer identities (anywhere in between or beyond the comprehension of the gender binary—for the eclipse is known to be very mysterious and spiritually-touched to some groups).
Tattoos in Men, Women, & Genderqueers
When receiving tattoos, it all depends not just on region, but the purposes they hold & how one receives them—correlating usually to the individual’s gender identity.
Men receive their tattoos for when they commit themselves to and succeed on their first hunt. Weeks before their 15th-16th (age ranges but it’s usually around these ages) birthday, boys would receive their diamond snake tattoos as a way to grant them good luck for when they go on their first solo hunt. When/if they succeed via feeding their first kill to the croco-catfish, they have officially been permitted by their ancestors to enter onwards into adulthood. From there, when/if they continue to hunt, their tattoos begin to become more and more into detail.
Women receive their tattoos from the day they enter into the age of womanhood (range varies between 14-16 depending on region) in which they receive their Elemental tattoos and their Backflower tattoo—a rite of passage so to speak. It is said that if a girl can handle the pain of gaining her first tattoo, it is granted that she would be ready and prepared for the path of womenhood, which symbolises her bravery, courage, and strength.
Those who are androgynous and/or gender queer tend to vary. Those who are old and genderqueer would continue to bear the tattoos they were given when younger if they learned at a later age. If they wish to change it, they can alter it to either Sun/Moon or combine to make into an Eclipse.
Bender Mastery Tattoos
If you are a bender and have mastered your element, you will receive a tattoo that indicates such mastery.
For airbenders, it follows the common Air Nomad practice of the original Blue Arrow tattoos, with some adjustments and design changes to the look of the tattoo as time went on.
For waterbenders, they usually receive their tattoo not just by mastery alone, but also their style of bending, where it may determine their future and where their “flow” of path may lead them down to. Hence why most would have very gentle and quick styles of bending rather than anything rough—as gentle and quick leads to a life of ease, fortune, and a long healthy life.
For earthbenders to earn their tattoos, the method tends to vary based on the region the earthbender lives in. Whether they live in a mountainous terrain or in more or less ridged valleys, they have to complete a difficult intuition process they must train for in order to become a master. (i.e. in some groups that live in mountainous areas, an earthbender must climb up to the highest, most rocky mountain point with simply their bending alone).

Hmm, imagining a version of the final were Toffee was helping against the Solarian Warriors, he's just about to own up to his mistakes and apologize to Moon... when it's revealed that she's been working with Mina.

how to make monstar canon without making toffee her biological father:
Star wanted to become a solarian warrior like her idol Mina but it backfired..
Its also a fun concept because in this way Star and others would find out that solarian warriors use septarian blood. And it also had a different effect on her because he has some of demon blood in her (Celena the shy was her ancestor)

Also hey thinking more about faragonda in the magic retold
——
Fairy of Knowledge/clouds (clouds are her sort of offence thing)
Felicity “Faragonda” Calliope Lamverouge
Solarian/Eraklyian
She’s one of the magic dimension best fighters, once a tactician for the royal family of Domino
Felicity thrived when she was learning to hone her skills, surpassing her mentor when it came to the emotional aspects of Knowledge but struggling to grasp the more logical and physical side of Knowledge
Then she met Griffin and the two hit it off, often escaping to Magix City to let loose every once in a while
Felicity is kind, but most fear her since she’s known as a fierce warrior
She’s complicated, often not showing her true colours until absolutely necessary same with her intentions
Although when it comes to her fairies she’s not above playing dirty
But overall most see Headmistress Faragonda, stern but kind. A mentor figure to the new generation of fairies.
That’s it really, probably will update this soon when I get more ideas!
