Happy Halloween season! Here's another stab at my own take of Carrie White, based on her book description. I'm super happy with how these turned out! I'd love to tackle some of the other characters in the book eventually, especially Margaret!

Don’t think they’re gonna stop at TikTok with this ban. The language of the bill will allow the government to ban literally any social media platform they deem a “threat to national security”.

This bill is a direct infringement of the 1st Amendment, and y’all will think it’s fine cause you think TikTok is cringy. Banning TikTok is only the beginning for these ghouls. Call your senators for fuck sake.

the company behind tiktok needs to sell the app immediately. because this is BLATANT censorship. and if they don't wanna get banned in america, then THEY NEED TO SELL THE APP TO ANOTHER COMPANY.

hey since it's coming up again: no it's not a good thing that the government wants to ban tiktok. no you should not be glad that the government might ban tiktok. no you should not respond to this with "good riddance" or "hurry up I hate that app". I should not have to explain this to you but the government banning a social media app is still a bad thing even if you don't like the UI or booktok or having to say "unalive" or how you think it's killing the very notion of attention spans. It's still bad. It's bad.

Yall, I think I'm sick again

And if my prediction is correct, this will be like, the third time this year I've been sick. If you don't know, I have asthma, and two chronic diseases called eczema (eczema has a possibility of being lifelong) and psoriasis. And that means that not only am I now more prone to Parkinsons, but I don't have that strong of an immune system and I get sick easier. So, it only takes me being around one or two people who are infected and next thing I know, I'm sick. And someone in my family has strep. I had to be around them in order to get them to do something. And just about an hour ago, I started feeling sick. My throat started hurting, I started coughing a shit ton, I feel very wheezy, and I feel very warm and cold at the same time. So yeah, I might be sick AGAIN.

Facts! And the fact that people blame Amaya for him being evil is just crazy.

it annoys me so bad when magnifico simps blame Amaya for "betraying" him or not saving him from being corrupted by the book. She literally tried! She said she feared the book was commanding him and stopped him that first time. The second time he sternly told her to not disturb him and locked himself in his lab. How TF was she supposed to know his intentions and if she did even stop him?

It's just this classic misogyny where women are expecting to babysit men and also be loyal to them no matter what they do. Magnifico ended up nearly destroying the kingdom and putting his people in danger. What sane person wouldn't want to stop him?

Amaya cared about how his actions could effect him but he never considered how his actions could effect her. She stayed by his side for so long because she loved him, but ultimately she is the queen and her job is to protect her kingdom. I still believe she loves him, but she can't be with the person he turned into. That's a very important message to send to women in relationships like that. They should have empathy for Amaya, it couldn't have been easy for her.

Opinion on Wish has changed.

Screw what I said about Wish being mid, it is my newest obsession. We missed out on humanized Star, and more importantly "At all costs" should have been a love duet between him and Asha.

Writer side of Tumblr, please write me some fanfiction about these two.

Also head canon is now that since Amaya and Magnifico had no kids (we would have seen them otherwise) that Amaya makes Asha the next Queen of Rosas.
