Dani in The Clone Wars
I just love the idea of Dani falling into the Star Wars universe (or alternatively the Star Wars universe is the same universe as the Danny Phantom universe they just happen to be in different parts of the universe) and meeting the clones. Cause like she’s a clone too. And not just any clone but a (technically) “defective” clone that originally had unstable DNA.
Like she meets the clones and just basically unknowingly trauma dumps on them. Just like “yeah I’m a clone to. I was supposed to be a boy but somehow came out a girl. And my genetic structure was super unstable for the first year of my life and I almost melted into a puddle of ectoplasmic goo because of it. But then my original Danny was able to stabilize me. My creator Vlad tried to kill me multiple times too. And also I’m the only surviving clone, all the other were to unstable and melted into goo!”
And the clones are all just horrified. Cause like A. She’s the only surviving clone of her batch and all her batch mates died. B. She was originally genetically unstable and for them something like that would have gotten them decommissioned, something her creator attempted to do to her but her original stopped it and saved her! And C. she’s just this tiny little child whose only like two-ish years old and she’s already been through so much!
The clones all make the executive decision to adopt her as their little sister! She’s now one of them! They will protect her with everything they’ve got!! And Dani just adopts them back. And she is a tiny little feral gremlin child, spirits have mercy on the souls of anyone who fucks with her clone brothers because she sure as hell won’t!!!

I can't find the original image to reboot and credit, but here you go.
TECH: When I analyzed Omega's DNA, I noticed an anomaly in her blood. Upon further research, she has a high volume of midichlorians."
WRECKER: What does that mean?
TECH: There was a correlation between a "high M-Count" and a Jedi's abilities using the Force.
OMEGA: Does this mean I'm a Jedi?!
TECH: Possibly. You would need extra training by a Jedi to use those skills.
ECHO: I've never noticed she has Force skills.
TECH: I thought her ability to connect with animals was an obvious manifestation of such abilities.
HUNTER: I am sensitive to vibrations. Do I have the Force?
TECH: It seems of the Kaminoans' experimental Clones, only Omega was specifically given a high M-count, which probably explains why she is so valuable to Nala Se and the Empire.
ECHO: Now we know what we're up against. Thankfully, we don't need to collaborate with any suspicious women to get this information. We must find a more secure location to hide. I will contact Rex immediately.

Hunter x Jedi!reader
Spoilers for the bad batch season 3 :)
Tumblr media
Summary: After a long time, you're finally reunited with your family and your lover.
Warning: Canon violence, Mention of mental and physical torture, slight depressing state, hurt/comfort. Fluff!
A/N: Let me know if anyone would like part two. I was planning on making it spicy ;}
Word count: 2.4k
Part two
Tumblr media
It's been months since you got a distress signal from one of your fellow surviving Jedi. Months since you managed to rescue your Jedi friend but sacrifice your own freedom. Months since you've seen your family and your lover.
The last thing you remember from when you were still with the batch was when you were all on Pabu, helping the people restore the beautiful ocean city while you were waiting to get any word from Echo as he helped Rex.
When the only thing missing was Crosshair.
You got the distress signal the same day Echo said he would visit. You knew you couldn't wait for your friend to visit, so with a tight hug, a long and loving kiss and a promise to return safely and quickly, you set the course for your Jedi friend.
Unfortunately, your plan wasn't Vader proof and you ended up captured, switching your place with your friend who managed to escape. You waited for your end, silently apologizing to Hunter and your family, but it never came. Instead, Darth Vader decided you would make a great addition to the imperial inquisitors, so they tried to break you, in every possible way.
For months, they tortured you mentally and physically, leaving you crying and barely alive at the end of every day. But you never broke, no matter what they did to you, you didn't break. There were times when it came close, but thinking of your batch and Hunter gave you strength to fight on.
So when the first opportunity to escape came, you took it. Doing everything in you capacity, even if it meant you'd have to tap into the dark side of the force. Your body had been weakened in the past months, your skin now covered in scars but that didn't stop you and you managed to escape, hijacking an imperial ship and running.
It seemed that even the force was on your side once you coincidentally run into Echo, Rex and the newly forming Clone resistance. But all your happiness disappeared once Echo informed you of the loss they suffered almost immediately you were gone. All those months, just the idea of coming back to your family and how everything would be perfect once again. Everything fell apart and you felt like you were once again in that cold prison cell, waiting for the inquisitors to torture you again. You were falling into the dark abyss, ashamed to even show yourself to Hunter and Wrecker.
It wasn't until Echo came looking for you, four days later. His body radiating happy energy as he practically jumped on you, hugging you and telling you that both Omega and Crosshair managed to escape and were now safely with Hunter and Wrecker on Pabu.
That made you hyperactive, filling you with energy and will to live and both you and Echo were in the ship only few hours later, crossing the galaxy to get back to your family once again.
Three days later you finally made it to Pabu, docking the ship at the top of the city. But while waiting for the ship to touch the ground in a matter of those seconds, your mind betrayed you. Suddenly all you wanted to do was to hide in the corner and dissappear, all those happy thoughts dissappeard, instead being replaced with dark and hateful thoughts. You imagined how Hunter must hate you now that you only returned once everything was alright again. How you dissappeard when they needed you the most. Maybe he's even blaming you for everything bad that happened to his family. Or maybe Omega's the one who hates you now, maybe she thinks that you betrayed them, leaving your family to help someone else.
Your whole body was shaking and you felt like you would faint and when the ramp finally began to descend and the sun shined on your face, Echo had to gently grab you because you swayed like a fragile flower in the wind.
Both you and Echo managed to take a few steps down the ramp before you heard a loud yell. Omega screamed yours and Echo's name, sprinting full speed at you, making you react the same. You yelled her name and she jumped in your arms as you quickly prepared to catch her, hugging her close to you as you began crying, peppering her face with kisses and petting her hair. You managed to crouch with Omega in front of you as you grabbed her cheeks and looked at her more closely, checking for any injuries as she cried telling you how much she missed you.
But as soon as Omegas eyes fell on your face her expression fell as well.
"What happened to your face!" Big tears began rolling down her cheeks as she looked at you. Similar to your body, your face was now littered with both small and big scars, some more visible than the others.
It's been months since you've seen Omega, the young female clone that had unexpectedly entered your life and become like a daughter to you. And after so long, you didn't want your scars to be the first thing you talk about, it was too dark subject to address in the first moments of reunion. So you moved your hands up to her hair, trying to change the subject to something happier.
"Look at your hair! It's grown so much!" You laughed through your tears as you played with the little girl's hair.
"I know, now you can finally braid my hair!" The young girl knew what your were trying to do and played along giggling as she mirrored your hands movements and played with your hair.
You were just about to respond when you both got interrupted by someone whispering your name. Your head snapped behind Omega, falling on a frozen figure, Hunter.
Your body went rigid, completely frozen in time when your eyes meet with his golden ones. Omegas eyes followed yours and once she saw Hunter standing there silently watching, she hugged you one last time before slowly removing herself from you and running towards waiting Echo.
Now that Omega was no longer in front of you, you stood up slowly, your eyes never leaving his as he watched your every move like he couldn't believe you were really there.
Your hands began shaking again and you grabbed your sleeves to try and stop them but to no avail.
"Hunter?"
You whispered back to him, taking a small step towards him. He said nothing, but his body moved and he was by you in the next second, his hands enveloping your body as his own crashed against yours. He squeezed you almost as hard as he could, fearing that if he wouldn't, you would've disappeared again. Hunter buried his face in your neck, inhaling your scent as your hands slowly stopped shaking and you moved them up into his hair. Your forehead fell on his shoulder as you finally closed your eyes, taking in his warm presence. You both stood there for a long minute, not moving as you both tried to soak in each other's warmth.
You felt Hunter deeply inhale once again, his breath tickling your neck, before his lips pressed against the same spot and he kissed you. Repeating the movement kissing up your neck, slowly coming to your face as his hands moved up to your neck, and his thumbs landed on your cheeks as his eyes found yours again. Hunter breathed out your name again, his face so close to yours.
"I thought I lost you..." His normally smoky voice sounded broken, quiet, like he was worried he would scare you away if he'd talk any louder. His own hands began to shake slightly as he gently turned your face around, his eyes jumping from scar to scar.
"Hunter, I'm so sorry. I tried to get back to you, I really did but they-" You tried explaining yourself as his eyes found yours again.
"When your ship returned I thought to myself at least I got one of my girls back...but then only General Prima came out and she could barely look me in the eyes to tell me what happened..." Hunter let out a sigh as his thumb traced the scar across your lips.
"...I thought I lost you and I couldn't bare to even think of what they're doing to you...I tried get you back every day, you and Omega..." He went on slowly and quietly, his other thumb tracing the scar across your eye.
"I'm so sorry Hunter-" You tried to apologise again but he interrupted you again with his thumb on your lips.
"Just...just promise me to never leave me again...I...I can't live without you." Hunter whispered as one tear left his eye and you moved your hand to his cheek, brushing it away as he leaned into your touch.
"I promise Hunter, never again." You nodded your head as you promised him, your own tears escaping you again and you moved your head, leaning your forehead against his.
Hunter let out a gentle puff of air, making your lips tingle as the air hit them. His own lips ghosting over yours as he whispered. "Ni kar'tayli gar darasuum ner ka'ra."
A small smile appeared on your lips and you gently nodded. "Ni kar'tayli gar darasuum ner ashi dul."
You responded and finally moved, pressing your lips against his into a long and loving kiss.
Hunter's hands moved back down to your waist and he pulled you closer again as his kiss turned more desperate.
Your own hands moved around his neck as you pulled yourself impossibly closer, a small sound escaping you as Hunters hand squeezed your hip and he took the chance to deepen the kiss. His tongue prodded against your lips as he entered your mouth in almost like urgent matter.
You let him take the reins and followed his tempo, enjoying the feeling of his arms around you again.
"Okay, you can continue doing that later! Now it's my turn!" You heard Wrecker before another set of arms snaked around you and Hunter, squeezing you even further and lifting you in the air. Both you and Hunter gasped, breaking the kiss to look at the gentle giant as he hugged you, leaning his head on your shoulders. You chuckled, grinning and squeezing one arm out and moving it to gently pat Wreckers head. "I missed you too Wrecker." Even Hunter managed a chuckle as he heard his brother sniffle quietly.
"We're never splitting ever again." Wrecker decided as he slowly put them down and brushed the tears from his eyes away. "Agreed." You nod, grabbing the giant clone's hand and squeezing it.
"What, no hug for me?" Crosshair's sly snake like voice asked as he came closer and crossed his arms in front of his chest an amused frown on his face. Your head turned in his direction and a wide smile grew on your lips and you gently let go of Wrecker and moved around Hunter, letting your hands to drag across his chest as you stepped closer to his youngest brother. "Crosshair!" You grinned and quickly moved closer to him, enveloping him into a big hug. Your movement surprised him greatly as he was expecting a glare and a witty remark instead you hugged him.
His arms were awkwardly waiting at his sides, debating if he should hug you back or push you away. Alas, you were the only one that hugged him so far and he'd be lying to himself if he'd say he didn't need a hug. So he let his arms slowly sneak around your body and he hugged you back, silently laying his head on top of yours.
"I'm glad you're back with us again." You whispered just loud enough for him to hear and you felt his breath hitch.
He slowly let go of you and stepped back a little, watching the scars across your face.
"Come on, you have to meet Batcher!" Omega gasped, grabbing your hand out of nowhere and pulling you towards what looked to be a  excited Lurca hound, running around and chasing Moon-yos. You chuckled at the enthusiasm of the little girl and looked back behind you to your lover and the rest of your family, only to see Hunter slightly glaring at Crosshair and Echo rolling his eyes and pushing the former Sergeant, encouraging him to move, while Wrecker only laughed and followed closely.
Omega managed to introduce you to the lively hound, telling you how she helped her and how they bonded over the time as they managed to survive the empire. Batcher seemed to be the perfect energetic pet for Omega as they began playing together, almost forgetting everyone else that was watching them.
You felt a warm hand on the small of your back and a moment later a warm body pressed against your side as Hunter lowered his head to whisper in your ear. "Come on, you must be starving." He pressed a delicate kiss to your forehead as you turned your head to look at him. "A little, yeah." You confirmed and Hunter motioned with his head to his brothers, before gently pushing you towards the house reserved for the batch.
Hunter whistled, making Omegas and Batchers heads turn, motioning them to follow too.
The shining sun had slowly began to descend as they sat down around the table after they put on some food. They snacked on the delicious fruits, talking about everything, just like they did in the old days, while they watched Omega and Batcher play.
The moment felt perfect, besides the one empty chair, remaining everyone that they will never be complete again. Everything else felt normal, Crosshair's witty remarks, Wrecker's compliments to the food, Echo trying to talk about another one of his missions and Hunter silently trying to listen to everyone as his hand slowly fell on your thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze to reassure you and himself that this moment is in fact real.

The Bad Batch and Rex Reuniting with Their Jedi Partner After Order 66
Tumblr media
I go absolutely insane for Jedi x Clone relationships, and thinking about a Jedi reuniting with their clone after Order 66 gives me the ultimate rollercoaster of emotions so here ya go (wow it feels good to get the writing juices going again)
G/N reader. I made myself cry with all of these, you're welcome
On AO3
You were a Jedi shadow who occasionally accompanied the Bad Batch on missions. You were with them on Kaller when Order 66 happened but you got away with Caleb. Once Caleb is safely away from the Empire, you make your next move to get any information you can, and the only contact you trust at the moment is located on Ord Mantell. Cid offers you asylum and a place to lay low while you figure our your next move
One day while you're trying your best to reverse the many health code violations in Cid's bar, you feel a presence in the force that hits you like a punch in the chest as 4 clones in black and red armor enter the parlor
Tumblr media
Hunter calling your name as you leapt over the river haunted you since Kaller
Seeing him standing in front of your made you unable to breathe
He sensed you the moment he walked in, whether it was your scent or your heartbeat you weren't sure, but he turned his head to you slower than you've ever seen him move before
The small blonde girl next to him noticed him stare, and she followed his eyesight, spotting you across the bar. "Is that a friend?" she asked
He didn't answer, just took a step forward like in a trance, but stopped immediately when he saw your hand instinctively hover where you hid your lightsaber
Slowly he raised his hands like placating a cornered animal, "They didn't activate, sweetheart. You're safe with us. You're safe with me."
You sensed it in the force, the truth in his words
He resumed his slow walk to you, the Batch holding their breath behind him
When he was an arms length away, you jumped into his arms, wrapping yourself around him and nuzzling your face into his neck. You felt him squeeze his arms around your waist, finding the crook of your neck, taking all of you in
No tears were shed. Just relief - slow, long breaths you've held since Kaller leaving you both
You stayed that way, wrapped in each other's arms, nuzzling as close as you can get
"Alright, you four, follow me. Clearly, these two need a minute," you hear Cid say from the safety of Hunter's shoulder
Four pairs of feet shuffle past you, a soft pat on your shoulder gives a warm, brief greeting, Echo most likely, before you're both left basking in each other's warmth
"I've got you, sweetheart. We'll figure this out together," he whispers in your ear. You snuggle closer in response
Tumblr media
Wrecker wasted no time shoving through the group as soon as he saw you standing on the other side of the bar, eyes wide with shock
"Maker, what're you do..."
He immediately halts when he sees your hand reach for your hip
Of course, the last time you saw him was Kaller, he should've known you'd be suspicious
"It's ok meshla, ours didn't activate. Our chips are defective. Tell them Tech, tell them they're defective." You watch as he looks back at Tech with pleading eyes, body practically vibrating with his need to hold you
Without moving your hand, you move your eyes to Tech's who gives you an affirming nod "He's telling the truth. Our inhibitor chips failed to activate, and we are currently deserters of the Empire"
You didn't hear that last part though as you rushed to Wrecker who met with you equal enthusiasm halfway across the parlor
You were only crushed into his chest for a second or two before he was peppering your face with kisses
You felt yourself freely laugh for the first time since Kaller, playfully shoving him back so you could take in his face
He cupped your cheeks with his big hands, bringing your eyes to meet his
"Maker, I thought I'd never see you again, meshla. I'm so glad you're home"
Home. He was home, and you had no plans to leave ever again
Tumblr media
He didn't notice you at first, too caught up in trying to figure out who Cid is
He continued on with his brothers, convinced this was the place for the Jedi contact
While he continued bantering with Hunter and Wrecker, you caught the eyes of Tech which widened when he saw you, but he remained quiet for Echo to discover for himself. His reassuring nod though told you all you needed to feel safe
You waited for the group to stop arguing, but when you saw things hadn't changed and no end was in sight, you couldn't help but laugh
Your laugh, as brief as it was, stopped him short
His back was to you, frozen, and he didn't turn around at first
The rest of his brothers turned in your direction, and Hunter's eyes darted between the two of you, warm smile on his face
What you didn't see was Echo close his eyes, telling his mind to stop playing these cruel tricks on him like it had been since Kaller - hearing your laugh, your soft singing on the marauder while they traveled around
When he finally turned around towards the source of the sound, he dropped his helmet
You gradually make your way to him as he remained frozen on the spot
The rest of the Batch shuffle to make room so you can get to him
As you get closer, your smile slowly grows with each step, tears welling
His eyes never leave yours, remaining wide and unblinking as if you're a mirage that's going to disappear
Finally, you're a hands length away from him, and you slowly raise your hand to rest on his cheek
As soon as skin meets skin, he releases the breath he'd been holding, and leans into the touch, closing his eyes and relishing in it
You let out a happy sob at the sight, your Echo back with you
Faster than hyperspeed, he snakes his arms around you, crushing you into his chest
His hand holds you in place while his scomp rubs soothingly up and down your back
You're full crying now, burying your face in his neck, thanking the Maker for not making you lose him a second time
"Shhh meshla, I've got you. I'm here. I'll always be right here. I'm not losing you again"
Tumblr media
You can thank his observation skills and need to take in every detail of a new environment in order to study it for him spotting you right away
You were a bright spot compared to the many health code violations hiding within the bar
You waited on the other side, making your own observations, ready to reach for your lightsaber if needed
"No need for that, darling. Our inhibitor chips did not activate. They appear to be defective, possibly due to our mutations, and we were able to escape the Empire. Hence, why we are here"
You ease at the information, walking to meet Tech in the middle of the parlor
When you're close enough, you see something gleaming in his eyes. Happiness? Pride?
"You don't seem surprised to see me" you say to him, reaching for his hand
"Statistically, once you made your escape from Hunter on Kaller, and knowing your capabilities, I knew it was improbable that you would fall victim to Order 66. Although, finding you in a less than reputable bar in the Outer Rim is certainly a surprise"
Oh Tech, your Tech. So matter of fact and to the point
His explanation makes you laugh and shake your head
Not able to wait any longer, you grab him and pull him towards you
He softly smiles down at you as he cups your chin, bringing your lips to his
"What's the probability of us being separated again?" you ask him without pulling apart
"Very low. 0% in fact" he says before softly kissing you again
Tumblr media
You reunited with the boys on Ord Mantell and stuck around with them as they figured out the new galaxy. Once you all sprang Crosshair free of the Empire, you removed his chip, and you stayed by his side the whole time as you waited for him to wake up
Every form of meditation in the galaxy could not calm your nerves
Crosshair's chip was removed 2 days ago and he'd been unconscious ever since
You never left his bedside, only eating and drinking when Echo or Omega brought you food and water
You'd laid your head down to rest some time ago when you felt his hand stir, yours laying on top of it
You shot up, holding yourself still as you watched him wake - groaning as his eyes adjusted and he took in the room
Slowly, they made their way to you, and you both froze
Every cell in your body wanted to throw your arms around him, but you gave him time to take in his new reality
"Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes"
The laugh that came out turned into a sob as you squeezed his hand
You're patient, spending the next few hours working through his guilt, helping him voice his insecurities, his doubts, his self-hatred, ready to combat each negative notion that dares make itself known
Hours later, you're both sitting in his med bed, leaning against the wall with your head on his shoulder
He has his arm around you, rubbing circles along your arm
After months of explosive run ins and uncertain truths, you bask in the quiet between you both
Whenever the tears escape, he quietly wipes them away, shushing them with soft kisses in your hair
In the night, a quiet confession
"I fought it. Every time I raised my rifle or pistol at you, I fought it. I could feel myself hesitating, yelling at myself in my own head"
You squeeze him tighter to you, nothing to say but letting him know that no matter what he reveals, you only want him closer
He brings you into his lap, legs curled over his, tucking you into his neck
"Thank you for never giving up. Thank you for fighting for me, even when I wouldn't fight for myself"
He places a gentle kiss in your hair before he tucks you further into him, resting his head on yours, letting the peaceful night settle around you both
Tumblr media
You were a Jedi shadow in love with a certain captain and who occasionally accompanied the Bad Batch on missions. You were with them on Kaller when Order 66 happened but you got away with Caleb. Once Caleb is safely away from the Empire, you make your next move to get as far away from the Empire as possible
the blaster hole in his pauldron makes me so emotional ok anyway
it would take awhile, weeks even months before the reunion would happen with both of you trying to lay low as long as possible
Rex had the advantage of the Empire thinking him dead, you weren't so lucky
You only used the force once after the events, after you found yourself safely heading towards the outer rim, to reach out and search for Rex's signature
Once you felt it and felt it hadn't changed, unlike the other clones you knew, you immediately cut yourself off from the force going into hiding
It broke your heart cutting yourself off from him, but you knew it wasn't safe for him to be near you - and you still had a lot of questions
Later, settled on a backwater planet far from the Empire's reach and with the galaxy continuing on, you risk a short connection with the force with one thing in mind
You feel him, faintly, but he's still there and he's still your Rex
Months later, one day when you check on him, his signature is the strongest it's been since the war
You're too curious and too lonely, you hold onto it, knowing what you're risking, but follow it through the forest and to the clearing a few kliks from where you've established home
A small, abandoned farm greets you. A ship waits not far from the homestead, and two figures stand just by the porch. He shares the face with millions and is all the way across the clearing, but you'd recognize him anywhere
He's with another clone, and softly you reach out with the force to check their signatures - both unchanged, both not filled with hate and confusion like so many of the other soldiers after the war
It only took two steps into the clearing before you saw him stiffen and whip his head in your direction.
Of course he could sense you without you even opening yourself up to him.
You keep walking. He doesn't take his eyes off of you
Suddenly, like his brain needed a minute to catch up, he breaks into a sprint to you, the clone left behind laughing as he watches the stoic captain appear to finally lose it
You don't see him approach you since tears blocked your vision as soon as you saw him start running
Half attempts to wipe the waterfalls from your cheeks are halted when your feet leave the ground and you're crushed into a hard chest, arms wrapping around you tighter than a force choke
Pulling back, you're both crying and laughing, not fully believing this is actually happening
You try to wipe the tears from his cheeks, he pushes the hair that's fallen in your face away
Words are being whispered, whatever can be kissed is kissed
Eventually, you both manage a deep breath, and Rex brings his forehead to yours
For the first time since the war ended, you feel a calm in the force you never thought possible again

So another of my tin foil hat theories is, it's not just Omega who can take midichlorian donation--it's all of the Batch. Grab the Reynold's Wrap and some Thin Mints!
At the end of S1 when Nala Se arrives at Tantiss she says to Hemlock 'what the Emperor wants isn't possible'. So, she already knows what Hemlock is up to.
In Season 2, Lama Su suggests grabbing Omega as leverage, because Nala Se has been rotting in a cell, refusing to cooperate. Hemlock snags Crosshair, uses him to bait the Batch, gets Omega. As we know from S3, Nala Se instantly starts blackholing Omega's test results. We find out why in episode 3 when Omega and Crosshair are spared death because due to a series of unfortunate events, one of Omega's samples gets through and is positive for the ability to accept a donation of midichlorians. I.e., Omega can get More Stronger at wielding the Force, which the Emperor naturally would want for himself, for cloned bodies for him to jump into (Rise of Skywalker), etc.
Now, Nala Se immediately began deleting Omega's samples, and per S1, she already knew what this project was about--so she knew that she had accomplished what the Emperor wanted, she was just gaslighting gatekeeping girlbossing her way through 'WOW SCIENCE IS HARD' and while Hemlock suspects her he can't do this without her so he's kinda stuck.
Where the rest of the Batch come into this is part meta and part S1.
In Season 1, Lama Su indicates he doesn't care who out of the Batch they can get back as long as they can get one. This is highly relevant because we're initially lead to believe it's only Omega they want, because Omega is a pure copy of Jango, and thus a source of DNA for them to keep using since Boba is long gone, as is Jango. (This doesn't make sense scientifically but, you know, whatever.)
As we find out, though, she's not. Furthermore, Omega isn't just an experimental clone, she's the first experimental clone. She was made before the Batch, suggesting they might even be derived from her, or, at a minimum share numerous of her traits. For example, the ability to accept midichlorians.
Nala Se's comment to Hemlock implies she knows about the desire for this process which in turn suggests the Kaminoans themselves were already trying to do it (maybe even in conjunction with Hemlock, who later left; he and Nala Se clearly know one another quite well). But the Kaminoans may have undertaken it as a selling point to the Republic. Hey, Jedi numbers low? No problem! Force sensitive clones WITH inhibitor chips so they do anything you want!
But the Emperor doesn't want that, he wants to make himself a new fresh body to live in forever. So they blow Tipoca City to pieces and kidnap Nala Se, wanting her to finish the project. Except she already has, and the results are in the wind. Except...for Crosshair.
Now, Hemlock says Crosshair was ruled out long ago. As we saw, Nala Se was destroying Omega's samples. ...was she also destroying Crosshair's? She might have been; we have no way of knowing, having never seen him be tested. Nala Se may have bided her time, deleting Cross' samples until Hemlock gives up on him and chucks him in with the others to be made into a Clone X. Whew! Bullet dodged. Except then Omega is captured. Fuck! Back at it again.
Meta-reason: when asked about the new seasonal posters, someone noted that there's a red underlight glow on Omega and the original Batch members, i.e. not on Echo. And on no one else. If this is danger, what danger are they all equally in which Echo isn't? Well...Echo isn't derived from Omega...
Final fold for this particular hat: since Cross and Omega have escaped we've been given no insight into what's happening in Tantiss. This isn't, IMO, on accident; it's likely Hemlock got all this information out of Nala Se one way or another. And that could be why CX-1 said 'they're coming for all of you'. He may have meant all of the Batch, since he was talking to Crosshair.
Did Rex and Howzer look at the rest of those targets on the list? Omega is the primary one, obviously, because she can be leveraged against Nala Se, who tbh couldn't give a shit about the rest of the Batch. But as Lama Su said: any one will do.
This works much, much better than Omega being the most specialist girl protected by her younger brothers. That's tired. Instead it becomes 'family created for one purpose decide to do literally anything else with their lives, against all odds'. Vastly more interesting.
And one last thing which is less tinfoil-hat-making and more pondering: those medical records on Nala Se's datapad. They're going to be relevant. Perhaps there's locked or hidden information in there which, once Tech re-surfaces, they can get into. We'll see.

Furthermore, I’m going to be completely honest in this review so if you’re someone who truly enjoyed the show, you’re a Rebels stan, etc. then this post isn’t for you. Haters will be blocked immediately so take your negative energy elsewhere. You have been warned!

For everyone else, buckle up because I’ve got a lot to say and I’d love to hear your thoughts on this as well. All comments are welcome so long as they are respectful to everyone.

Okay, so now that the show is done for now. I’m going to be listing some major talking points. We’re there some aspects of the show that I enjoyed/appreciated? Absolutely! But overall, I’m leaving this show very disappointed, confused, and frustrated. The finale left me feeling empty and never have I personally been more silent after a Star Wars show. Now mind you I think this has a lot to do with the fact that I love Ahsoka’s character dearly as well as the Clone Wars and the prequels so there is bias here. Furthermore I am pretty indifferent with Rebels so going in knowing that the Ahsoka show wasn’t going to be…well about Ahsoka but rather a Rebels sequel, that already put a bad taste in my mouth and I was very nervous how this show was going to go and well…it was exactly what I expected from a Filoni/cheap Disney production. Without further ado, here’s a list of all my beef.
1.) Lack of a Coherent and Cohesive Story
So I’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but my main issue with Dave Feloni productions is that the story seems to be going all over the place and there’s a lot of moving parts that don’t necessarily meld well together. I often think to myself that Ahsoka is an example of a poorly written fanfiction brought to the screen. So the plot of the show initally was focused on Ahsoka bringing Ezra home. Okay, that’s simple, there’s many different ways we can make that cool and interesting but that’s not what happened here. We’re just filled with a ton of confusing information and we’re in for a very boring journey heading for a very anticlimactic and unsatisfying ending.
For starters, we the audience are informed that Ahsoka and Sabine had started an apprenticeship (which I have ALOT of issues with but that’s for another talking point) but they got into a tiff (which we never find out about and/or see) and now things are just depressing and weird between them. First of all, anyone who has seen Rebels KNOWS that Ahsoka and Sabine literally had very little to do with each other; I can’t recall a single conversation those two have had in the past, nor was it ever eluded to us that Sabine is Force sensitive.
Second we see that Hera and Sabine don’t have anything to do with each other for some reason? Which is weird considering all that’s happened and their history but okay suddenly Sabine, a grown ass 30+ year old woman is Ahsoka’s responsibility, which again why? We don’t get any background information, we’re just expected to accept and go with it.
Third, Ahsoka and Hyuang are reunited and working together immediately but again do we know how that became to be? No. We see none of that.
Fourth we are told that Morgan Elsbeth, a one off antagonist from the Mandalorian that Ahsoka fought is suddenly a Dathormirian woman even though she looks nothing like one besides her outfits in the show nor was that eluded to previously.
Fifth, we are introduced to these two new…I don’t even know what to call them “dark siders” “non Jedi” Shin and Baylan (who is apparently a former Jedi from the Clone Wars but did we see that or see how he knew Ahsoka and Anakin? No.) but we aren’t given any reason to care about them other than they’re in Ahsoka’s way of completing her mission. They end up being more like time fillers that anything else and end up walking away from the big conclusion. Like…why are they even in this show and why should we care?
Perhaps Dave Feloni has this big grand story in his mind but he’s so far up his own ass that none of us get to see this story. It’s like seeing a little kid play with their action figures and they’re super passionate about it but as a outsider you have no idea what’s going on. Now this isn’t good not only for the sake of good storytelling but it’s bad for business too.
Disney wants to make as much money off of Star Wars as they can. That’s extremely obvious. However here you have a show that isn’t going to pull in a casual Star Wars viewers (they would have to watch so much content to catch up on whose who and what is going on) nor is it really going to pull in fans of Clone Wars and Rebels because while they overlap, the fandoms are different and Feloni hasn’t done a good job melding those worlds together thus the divisive opinions on this show. This leaves for an incredibly small niche of people and honestly I think whatever toy sells they make from this show will do better than the actual ratings. I would be shocked if they greenlit for another season because I’m pretty done with this story as is many of the people who would be willing to watch.
All in all this is embarrassing how Feloni and the gang with all the money and resources can’t pull off a simple and epic show when there are thousands of unpaid fanfic writers that could pull off a much better story and build these beloved up characters, which leads into my next point.
2. The Characterizations of Ahsoka, Sabine, and Hera Are Bad
Now I have mentioned previously how much I love Ahsoka but damn it upon watching this show, she may as well be dead. Ahsoka has been given the Luke Skywalker treatment in that Ahsoka has been stripped of everything that made her lovable in Clone Wars and Rebels and is left as a sorry shell of who she once was. Her dialouge is hollow and lifeless not like the lively Ashley counterpart that made us all love Ahsoka in the first place. And no don’t give this “well she’s older now” bullshti excuse because Obi Wan Kenobi never lost his cheekiness and charisma as an old man, neither did Yoda, or Leia, etc. Just because you age doesn’t mean you have to be lifeless. Maturity does not equate to emotionless. Secondly for a woman whose well into her fifties and still acts very much like a Jedi Ahsoka’s views on the Jedi and their philosophy seem very warped and the audience is again left confused as to where she stands on the Jedi. I mentioned in a previous post how I couldn’t stand Ahsoka’s negativity towards the Jedi and how nobody seems to matter but Anakin (even though he’s put her through a ton of trauma and has tried to kill her as Vader) because it’s just so distasteful to the people who raised her and loved her that died by genocide no thanks to Anakin. Ahsoka has zero character development other than she seems to forgive Anakin for his wrongdoings despite the nonexistent apology. For a show that has her name on it, she sure is boring. Makes me miss Ashley and old Ahsoka even more.
As for Sabine I probably could write a whole thesis on how unlikeable she is but I’ll keep it short. One, I find it sick on Feloni’s part that he’s having a grown 30+ year old woman act like a teenager and be snarky with just about everyone. Ezra, who annoyed me immensely in Rebels, was WAY more mature and grounded. And again I’m sick and tired of the Mandalorian excuse of you getting to be an asshole because youre Mandalorian. Shut up. No one is above manners and decency. Sabine’s actions in this show have been far from Jedi like and thanks to her immaturity, she left Ahsoka for dead once and is indirectly responsible for the death of New Republic officers who were trying to stop this very dangerous mission that could possibly bring Thrawn and the Empire back ensuing more death and destruction of innocents. Ahsoka deserves to be angry with her for her words and actions, but of course Sabine gets a free pass and her bad behavior will continue to be enabled.
As for Hera…when did she become such a Karen? Just because you’re an officer doesn’t mean you get to abuse your power for your own personal agenda. That Senator was right about her. Finding Thrawn is a threat to the galaxy and using resources and putting lives at risk for it is a big deal. Hera was depicted as honorable and responsible in the Rebels series and I swear I was watching a different person on screen. Also she is a major Sabine enabler and that needs to stop. Sabine is grown and needs to grow up and fix her attitude.
3.) Anakin’s Role In the Show
Now don’t get me wrong, I love Hayden and I love Anakin, I have the dude tattooed on me for Force sake so don’t come at me for that, but I had some issues on how his character was used here. First, I’m tired of Ahsoka’s relevance to Anakin being the only defining trait about her. Second, I’m continuously annoyed by Anakin’s lack of accountability in these shows; he never once apologizes to Ahsoka for all that’s happened, he never once’s has a meaningful conversation with her; he just basically beats her down until she finally lets go of her past. Did I love the Clone Wars flashbacks! YES! They were my favorite part of the entire show and I want MORE of that; but I so wish Anakin could have been reflecting on his own actions with Ahsoka instead of being like “Is ThAt WhAt ThIs Is AbOuT?” Like come on 🙄
4.) Ahsoka’s “It’s Time To Move On” Line
Are you kidding me Ahsoka? There is still so much more to unpack with her past such as all the other relationships she’s had that completely changed her trajectory like BARRISS and REX and she could also be a mentor figure to Luke and Leia, etc. But nope the only thing that matters is getting over Anakin and all is well despite being stranded in another galaxy and Thrawn being unleashed back home. Like THIS IS NOT OKAY!
5.) The Cheap Ass Production of this Show
I’m not normally one to comment on production but it was so obvious in this show how many corners were cut. For one characters like Thrawn look god awful. Dude looking like a blue Elon Musk instead of an intimidating villain. The use of fog and the volume were very obvious and the places we went to were so boring minus the red leaves forest. The worlds of Star Wars used to be so cool and otherworldly but that’s not the case nowadays and it’s sad. Also why does Force ghost Anakin look better in the 2000’s than it does now? I prefer quality over quantity so I really wish Disney would quit churning out these cheaply made productions and have the audacity to rise their Disney plus subscriptions and not pay their people well.
6.) THE RACISM
I’m so fucking tired of this y’all! 🤬 of course make the Jewish actor in the shipyard be greedy and power hungry. Of course make the Asian Senator the asshole and not any of the white protagonists. The antisemitism and racism against POC is unacceptable to me and it should be unacceptable to you too.
Conclusion
I’m sure I’m missing some talking points but these are my biggest grips and as an Ahsoka fan I’m disappointed. Being a miserable Jedi not Jedi responsible for bringing a new evil into the galaxy but being content being stranded in another galaxy is not the future I believe Ahsoka deserves and I sincerely hope they don’t continue this story. It’s just bad all around. Except for the Loth cats… the Loth cats can stay. And Clone Wars flashbacks.

ok look i need to elaborate on the Satine Accidentally Creates A Mandalorian Empire (also adopts people) AU because once i start talking i can't stop.
This all starts because Satine isn't searched thoroughly enough when she's captured by Death Watch. Because a pacifist Duchess wouldn't carry any weapons, right?
Wrong! Just because she's a pacifist doesn't mean she won't defend herself, remember? It just so happens that she carries a deactivator pistol, which shoots energy blasts capable of taking out droids, and it also just so happens that Death Watch's new leader is part droid.
Satine disables Maul's legs moments before she would have been impaled.
Bo-Katan tries not to cackle as she informs Satine that she is technically the new owner of the Darksaber. In any other situation, Bo would be furious, but the irony of it is just too much.
Anyway, time skip ahead. Satine is trying to maintain Mandalore's neutrality in the war while also keeping the Nite Owls on a metaphorical backpack leash and negotiating with the remaining Mauldalorians. She refuses to carry the Darksaber, so Bo puts it in storage with Satine's old armor. (The Ahsoka-on-Mandalore arc doesn't happen, FYI.) Then, they get news of the whole Empire deal. The Death Watch Mandalorians try to throw a party at the news of Order 66.
Then Obi-Wan shows up on their doorstep with a heavily pregnant senator and a little girl.
Padme is brought to a medcenter for treatment, and with better care, she survives the birth of her children.
But more important than that is Reva Sevander.
Because in this universe, Obi-Wan sensed one single light in the darkness of the temple, and lifted the trembling girl from the pile of bodies she'd hidden herself in. Obi-Wan takes her to Mandalore along with Padme. A Mandalorian doctor treats her wounds as she breaks down, sobbing out the truth of what happened.
Soon enough, rumors are flying from Mandalorian to Mandalorian, murmuring that the Jedi children were slaughtered too.
Some warrior Mandalorians hate Jedi more than they love children. Most of them love children more than they hate Jedi.
They nearly start another civil war over which one of the clans should be allowed to adopt the jet'ika girl. Finally, Satine steps in, proclaiming that this fighting is only hurting Initiate Sevander, and that the child will be Satine's personal ward.
Word gets out.
Vader sends his first Inquisitor on a mission to kill the Initiate and any Mandalorians who dare to defy the Empire's orders.
Bo-Katan sends the Inquisitor back in several pieces.
(The Empire decides to hold off on attacking Mandalore just yet.)
Anyway, Vader isn't the only one to hear about Satine adopting a Jedi girl. Word spreads to others.
Ahsoka comes first, dragging a tied-up clone Captain and demanding the use of a medcenter immediately. A few weeks later, Kelleran Beq and Grogu arrive. Caleb Dume follows, too weary to be afraid of what could happen to him.
Mandalore--which is nearly next door to Dathomir--picks up a distress signal that nobody else could have. Bo-Katan and squad of Nite Owls (including their newest recruit, Ahsoka) investigate, and they bring home a ragged Jedi and a little girl. Satine, who will never regret helping the Jedi but has been getting severe stress headaches at the number of floating objects in her life, nearly breaks down in tears when she hears the Dathomirian child excitedly discussing the undead with their newest Jedi rescue, a redhead boy who won't explain why he refuses to take off his gloves. She didn't sign up for this she didn't sign up for this she didn't sign up for this--
It doesn't stop her from taking in each new Jet'ika they find. The Sundari palace is full of younglings, and while Bo-Katan complains about it frequently, she's having so much fun as the wine aunt to two dozen miniature Jedi (and she even encourages her Nite Owls to listen for rumors of surviving Jedi and rescue them).
(Ahsoka becomes the unofficial go-to babysitter for Sabine and Tristan, and while I'm not a fan of Force-sensitive Sabine in canon, the hilarity of it in this AU is too much to pass up because imagine Ursa's face when Ahsoka breaks it to her that so um just FYI your daughter has space magic.)
Okay, enough about the Jedi (for now.) On to the war against the Empire!
So, Satine has been facing a lot of moral dilemmas, including what do you do when your enemies are evil and they're attacking your borders and they really can't be reasoned with? and she's solved most of them by giving Bo-Katan begrudging permission to "handle it." She's made it very clear that civilian casualties are absolutely unacceptable, and Bo-Katan huffs and says fiiiiine.
But then a nearby planet besieged by the Empire sends a plea for help. What can Satine do? Refusing goes against everything she stands for, but this would be a counterattack by Mandalore, not just self-defense!
In the end, there's no other answer. She sends the Nite Owls (and a Jedi who volunteered) to help the people and hopes that will be the end of it. She has her hands full already just trying to protect Mandalore!
But it happens again. And again. Satine still refuses to start a war against the Empire.
That changes when Sundari itself is full-on attacked.
Now, here's the thing about Satine.
She wasn't always peaceful.
It was the aftermath of the civil war--the destruction, the death, the needless suffering without a purpose, the fighting that she had been a part of--that made her a pacifist.
But when she runs to the palace window to look out at the city, listens to the bombs falling and the frantic comms from Bo-Katan's forces about the losing battle and the dying civilians, sees the Jedi rushing to shelter their children because one reason the Empire is here is to kill them, Satine remembers why she fought.
She spent fifteen years rebuilding Mandalore to be a peaceful, thriving society that no longer destroyed itself, and now someone else has come to burn it to the ground.
"Bring me my armor," she commands in a low, cold voice. "And the Darksaber."
The Empire is about to find out what happens when a pacifist goes to war.

Anakin Faces Consequences
Thank you @killjoypolitics for the submission
I love all your ideas! I was wondering if you had any ideas for a fix-it where the Jedi or Clones (somehow) prevent Order 66 from happening but Anakin still falls. How do you think the Jedi/Senate/public would respond to his attempted murder of the Jedi? Or the marriage? Or the murder of the Sand People? I’m just so curious as to how you think people would handle it! Do you think Anakin would be able to admit he was wrong and try and make up for what he did?
Hmm those are some intriguing questions. Reading them did give me some immediate ideas. Let’s explore them.
I think, for this to work, we need to shift some behind the scenes for the Clone Wars. To start with Anakin’s…let's call them his less than stellar command decisions is noticed and noted, even if no one can do anything about them (because he is technically not doing anything wrong). It damages the trust the Clones, other Jedi, and even his own Padawan have in him.  These decisions include but are not limited to: Spending Clone lives to collect R2D2 (whose memory-properly wiped of sensitive information- is backed up to the central Jedi Temple databanks and had outright stated that it had no attachment to its current body), Anakin’s focus on Padme during the Blue Shadow virus, and his reaction to the Rako Hardeen arc (he was literally the only person in Obi Wan’s life to react poorly to finding out Obi Wan went undercover and faked his death, everyone else got Opspec).
So by the time of the Wrong Jedi arc, no one is actually trusting Anakin with any more information than they absolutely need to. He kind of doesn’t notice because he wasn’t paying that much attention in the first place.  When the Senate demands Padawan Ahsoka Tano for the temple bombing, the Council calls her in to see them, without Anakin, and ‘We know you are innocent, we know this is a trap of some kind, would you be willing to go along to spring the trap and hopefully find who is framing you’ and Ahoska, being partially trained by Obi Wan, agrees.
No one tells Anakin. At the end of the Arc, Ahsoka agrees to continue undercover (as having left the Jedi) and working with the Shadows to figure out what is going on. So Ahsoka ‘leaves’ the Jedi, Anakin none the wiser. She also starts working much more closely with the Coruscant Guard (who had been aware that she was innocent and going along with things to spring the trap).
This brings us to where Fives finds out about the chips, reports to Rex and Anakin, then is ‘killed’ (his death was faked and he was sent to join Ahsoka).  Anakin suppresses the report because he does not believe that his friend Palpatine could do anything like that. He orders Rex to ignore the report as well, specifically not to bring it up to the Jedi Council. But he does it in a way that still implies Anakin will be bringing it up to the appropriate authorities.  Rex does not trust Anakin, particularly not with anything that would make Palpatine look bad. However if Rex did an end run and went directly to the Jedi Council, it would be very obvious. So instead Rex reached out to Ahsoka with Fives report.
Ahsoka, now working with the Shadows, gets the report and they are able to investigate the chips.  Though they cannot remove them, for fear that the wrong person will find out too early and activate the rest, they are able to quickly find and manufacture a way to neutralize the control portion of the chips.
This brings us up to ROTS. To Order 66 and Anakin’s fall.  Anakin leads the march on the temple, and the 501st follow along (not sure where he was going with this), until Anakin strikes down a temple guard while ordering them to open fire. Had it been almost any other Battalion with almost any other Jedi, the Fallen Jedi would have been able to kill many more before he could be stopped.  But the 501st learned some difficult lessons from Pong Krell and Anakin was not gnarly as trusted as he thought.  Anakin is stunned.
Palpatine’s Empire as announced but without the control chips to make the clones kill the Jedi, Palpatine’s Empire lasts 3 days which end with Palpatine’s death. It takes another two weeks for everything to calm down enough to bring Anakin forward to face what he had done.
Palpatine’s former supporters, the ones that are not outed and ousted during the transformation from Republic to Empire and back, flock to Anakin as the wronged party. Their spin is that Anakin was moving to protect the legal head of the government from an insurrection in the form of the Jedi.
It gained no traction, because even though Palpatine’s Empire lasted 3 days, it was still enough to see how many of these people would react. Frankly, there were more than a few of those supporters (beings like Tarkin) whose support of Anakin did more harm to the cause than good.
For many of the Jedi, Anakin’s actions didn’t really rate notice. Not above the horror of the chips, both from the view of ‘all of us would have died’ and ‘the clones would have been forced to kill us’.  Throughout the war Anakin had, mostly unconsciously, been distancing himself from the Jedi. A distance which grew as they realized he could not really be trusted.
For most there was sadness, of course, as more of his actions from the war and just before are revealed. But it was the sadness of an old friend going down the wrong path, not the betrayal of current family trying to hurt them.   Finding out Anakin had betrayed his oaths by marrying Padme and had committed murder was just one more thing that had happened.
The public reaction was mixed. Many bought into ‘The Hero with No Fear’ mythos and could not believe he would attack the Jedi without reason, even after he admitted that his reason was Padme not anything the Jedi had done.  The scandal of it, though, keeps it in the public eye. And it is a seemingly unending  well of scandal for Anakin, Padme, and any number of their supporters.  Not the least of which is the news that Anakin murdered the Tuskans, but Padme’s forgiving him for it was legally binding (As she was acting as a Senator) so he could never be prosecuted for the murders, even if Tatooine and the Tuskens could make an official complaint about his behavior. That Anakin then married Padme made it even worse.
I think, for Anakin himself, if he gets to the point of falling he would not be willing to admit he had done anything wrong. He seems like the kind of person who would double down and insist that he was right for his decisions.

AU where Ahsoka sides with Maul on Mandalore because she thinks that if she works with him then she can get his information and help against the Sith Master but plans to double cross him to make sure Anakin lives. They leave Mandalore immediately on a stolen ship, so they make it back to Coruscant just in time for Anakin to still be there after attacking the Temple, but before Obi-Wan and Yoda arrive. While Maul goes off after Palpatine, Ahsoka goes after Anakin to try to save him, thinking he's been tricked or that it's some sort of Dark Side magic controlling him perhaps, but it's not.
Maybe Anakin is just leaving the Temple, so it's still belching smoke into the air and of course it's still overrun by the 501st who aim blasters at Ahsoka the moment she shows up to try to get in, but Anakin stops them, orders them not to shoot.
Anakin offers her the same choice that he will offer Padme later, the same choice he offers Obi-Wan on Mustafar in canon: join him or die.
Ahsoka chooses to join him. Because if she joins him, she might be able to do something to save him, to change his mind. She refuses to abandon him, to walk away, to fight him.
Anakin's just gotten his orders to go to Mustafar, but he asks Ahsoka to go look in on Padme, maybe even take her somewhere safe, take her to Naboo.
When Obi-Wan and Yoda split up, Obi-Wan finds an empty apartment and Yoda finds MAUL, still waiting for an opportunity to attack Sidious, unusually patient. They come to an extremely uneasy truce as they decide to tag team Palpatine. Obi-Wan has to go through security recordings again at Padme's apartment and sees Ahsoka show up, hears her say she's working with Anakin, and that Anakin wants Ahsoka to take her to Naboo, to Varykino. He hears Padme agree and sees them both leave. He knows it could be a trap, but it's the only lead he has.
Obi-Wan arrives on Naboo and while Ahsoka is initially delighted to see him and discover that he survived, she quickly realizes he knows about what Anakin's done and becomes protective. She knows that Obi-Wan is a Jedi, a member of the High Council, and that Anakin being a Sith will strain his loyalties, but that Obi-Wan will ultimately do what he must, even if Anakin refuses to back down. Ahsoka tries to get him to leave without knowing where Anakin is, and Obi-Wan refuses, which forces Ahsoka to pull out her lightsabers to try to force him to leave. She loses.
Obi-Wan takes the opportunity to try to get to Padme and convince her to tell him where Anakin is, but Padme refuses. Even if she DID know where Anakin was, she wouldn't tell Obi-Wan because she doesn't trust him not to try to kill Anakin and she doesn't believe that Anakin would ever do the things Obi-Wan is accusing him of doing. So Obi-Wan has to pretend to accept defeat and leave, but he knows that eventually Anakin will come back to check in on Padme, he just has to wait.
Yoda and Maul together are able to overpower Palpatine and kill him, although Maul dies in the process, as well. With Anakin waiting for orders that will never come on Mustafar, this leaves something of an opening for Bail Organa and the loyalists to step in and try to quickly undo some of what Palpatine just did. They undo the Empire, they quickly try to reach out to some of the Separatist worlds (the "leadership" Anakin kills on Mustafar appears to be predominantly the Corporate Alliance, not the actual Separatist Senators) to broker peace. They reach out to Kamino to figure out how to deactivate the control chips in the clones. They expose the lies Palpatine told about the Jedi, expose the truth of what Palpatine was and what the Jedi tried to protect them from, declare the Jedi to be fallen heroes, persecuted by Palpatine, not traitors of the Republic.
By the time Anakin figures out Palpatine's dead, the newly born Empire has begun to crumble, and his first priority is Padme anyway, so he goes straight to Naboo, where Obi-Wan is waiting for him. But while Obi-Wan could take Anakin alone, he can't take on Anakin and Ahsoka together. Ahsoka keeps Anakin from killing Obi-Wan, but Obi-Wan is badly injured and left behind on Naboo as Anakin, Ahsoka, and Padme all go on the run. To add insult to injury, Anakin takes Obi-Wan's lightsaber with him.
Anakin and Ahsoka both have effectively sworn themselves to the Sith, but neither of them spent much time as Sith before Palpatine's death, so they're fairly ineffective Sith. Anakin had thought to take Palpatine's Empire as his own, kill Palpatine after Padme was saved and then rule the galaxy, but the Empire is already gone and Palpatine is dead. Anakin did not inherit Palpatine's ability to scheme and plan, just his anger and passion and selfish greed. He has a pregnant wife who might die in childbirth, so he gets them all somewhere to hide and leaves Padme with Ahsoka while he goes out scouring the galaxy for a way to save her from what he believes to be her impending doom. He fails, but Padme doesn't die. It changes very little.
Anakin and Ahsoka are welcome nowhere in the galaxy after what Anakin did, and Ahsoka refuses to leave Anakin a second time. They all have to start living on the run, living in the shadows, finding places where they can disappear among the populace. People are looking for Anakin, looking for Padme and Ahsoka, and Anakin isn't interesting in being merciful usually. When Ahsoka tries to step between Anakin and their pursuers the way she did with Obi-Wan, it rarely goes well anymore. And they still have to find ways to get supplies, clothes for the twins, food, fuel, and transportation without leaving traces that can be followed. Anakin isn't afraid to use mind tricks to force people to give things up for them, citing that obviously they need it more. When Ahsoka tries to speak out against killing the pursuers, against violating the minds of random citizens just trying to make a living, Anakin threatens to leave her behind because if she truly loved him then she'd do whatever it took to protect him and his family, tells her that when it was Ahsoka on the run he was the only one who believed in her innocence. So she kills, she helps with the mind tricks, she steals and lies.
It's so far from the perfect life Padme had dreamed for herself on Naboo. And her discontent fuels Anakin's anger, his fear of losing her in a way he hadn't truly considered. He starts lashing out more and more, at Ahsoka, at Padme, and even one or twice at the twins. And finally, Padme can no longer take it and snaps when he aims his ire at the twins and tries to kill him. Anakin doesn't let her, and this time, Obi-Wan isn't there to tell Anakin to let go.
Devastated at this final betrayal, Ahsoka leaps in to stab Anakin through the heart, and Anakin can absolutely sense her coming, he could stop her if he wanted to easily. But Anakin, broken at the realization that he just killed Padme, would rather die than have to live with that consequence. And Anakin decides to let Ahsoka's killing blow land. Padme and Anakin die within the same heartbeat. And so Anakin fulfills the prophecy, he destroys the last Sith with his apathy and selfishness, and brings balance to the Force with his death.
Now left completely alone and emotionally shattered, Ahsoka takes the twins to the only people she knows that might be able to help them. She takes them to find the survivors of the Jedi Order, living now in a different Temple as they try to recover alongside a healing galaxy. Even if they won't trust her, help her, accept her, she knows they would never abandon Luke and Leia.
The Jedi happily accept Luke and Leia into their Order, but after a few days, Ahsoka knows she can't stay there under their protection. She knows that she hurt people, she knows she left a path of pain behind her as much as Anakin did. And she knows she has to make amends for that as best she can, and that path starts with turning herself in to the Republic to face the consequences of her choices. The Republic has done some healing of its own and with the Jedi Council speaking up for her to a Senate and Chancellor more willing to listen, Ahsoka is asked to make amends by joining a reconstruction crew that's helping patch up the galaxy in the wake of the Clone War for a few years and meet with a healer to help her through the trauma once a week (she's allowed to use a Jedi mind healer given her Force Sensitivity and history in the Order and particular relationship to Anakin).
Slowly, Ahsoka starts to heal. She spends her time being constructive and peaceful, rather than destructive and fearful. She builds new connections to support her as she moves forward down a new path. And at the end of it, Ahsoka decides that she still wants to walk the path of a Jedi. She always has, even if she got lost along the way. So she heads back to the Temple, once again ready to be a Learner.

Executive Cucumber's Thoughts on the Bad Batch 03x09!
Spoilers under the cut
Apologies for this being late, I worked overtime and then immediately went to rescue my sister and her kids from a car breakdown. I got overwhelmed pretty quick.
I really liked this episode, but as I was in a not great mood when I watched it, I didn't absorb as much as I normally do. (My mood really affects how much I enjoy something, regardless of quality. I was in a foul mood when I first watched Faster and was fairly critical of it. I was wrong.)
This is really the first time we've seen not beautiful weather on Pabu and that's terrifying.
CROSSHAIR IS PART OF A COMMUNITY!!! Have yall considered that he's never been a part of a community before? Like yes, he's has his family, but a community?
'Does it matter? We're not giving her up.' This man. I love this man. If Tech did not already reign Supreme in my heart, I think Crosshair would be my favorite character in Star Wars.
ASAJJ VENTRESS MY QUEEEEEEEEEN
Oh Omega, that story fell apart faster than Hunter's resistance to adopting you.
They leave a space for Tech 💔
Apparently those blood tester things that Qui Gon had were Jedi issue only.
YOU CAN DO IT OMEGA!!! Wrecker, honey, if Omega CAN do it, that means her life gets WAY harder.
They one hundred percent sent Crosshair to look at Tech's data because Hunter and Wrecker can barely do it.
'Go get a flower kid, I gotta beat up your dads'
Okay, I honestly think Hunter doesn't have the time for romance and could honestly see him as asexual, but-
HIS WAIST IS SO SLUTTY. HOW IS IT SO SLUTTY.
I don't think we've seen such well choreographed hand to hand fighting in animated Star Wars. Except maybe that time that Rex absolutely destroyed those Zygerrians. But I might be biased about that.
'SHE'S A WAR CRIMINAL OMEGA' Okay now I need to know what defines war crimes in this universe. Did they have space Geneva?
You know, good thing Echo's not here. He'd probably be WAY more pissed than these three.
'You're naive' says the man who was changed by the child saying people can change.
I love Crosshair's 'oh shoot she's right' face.
Wrecker's little gasp when Ventress looks at them is AMAZING.
I love it when Star Wars is using the Force to connect with animals.
I'm sorry, Hunter girlies, I guess we getting wet hair everyone except Hunter. (Though Ventress looks SO GOOD)
VENTRESS YOU QUEEN I LOVE YOU YOU'VE COME SO FAR (I haven't read dark disciple but my sister has, and she informed me that Vos' Dark Side training by Ventress culminated in him summoning a water monster and killing it. This is such a beautiful parallel that she calms it.)
Crosshair helping Omega on is my everything.
I really love that Crosshair has decided to give Ventress a chance, because he was given a chance. (And also I lowkey ship them in a one night stand kinda way. Crossajj is such a good ship name too)
DAD DUO.
I don't think Ventress is lying when she says Omega isn't Force sensitive. Omega doesn't show ANYTHING in this episode that implies that she's sensitive. Yes, she uses Batcher, but she'd trained Batcher with normal friend methods. I think that Ventress stops the testing prematurely before she can be more sure, because she sees the possibly unhealthy attachment the Batch have. It might also be to protect Omega to not know for sure. My personal theory is that Omega is slightly more sensitive than the average clone, but not to any natural talent degree.
Oh gosh, I'm so scared for the next few episodes. Ventress gives them such a clear warning. This episode did such a good job of getting the tension tight again.
I know some people call this episode redundant, but the characters NEED this in order to catch up. We as an audience knew that M Counts meant midichlorians. But the Batch had no idea. Sometimes, we need to let the main characters catch up with us.
(This is also why Tech as CX-2 works on a reveal level because the mystery isn't for us, it's for the characters)
But yeah, a great episode! I'm terrified for everything and everyone!
A quick note- I've seen people say that it's too late in the season for Tech to return. I'd like to remind you that it took exactly two episodes in season 2 to get us behind Crosshair's redemption. They can do a lot in a few episodes.

pairing: commander cody x f!reader fandom: the clone wars (star wars) word count: 2.4k warnings: walking in on someone (not y'all tho), mentions of war crimes, improper military dealings summary: cody planned on improving his strategy by working together with you, not fall in love notes: hi @catsnkooks! so sorry for keeping you waiting on your gift. hope you enjoy. (part of @cloneficgiftexchange)
"But she's a separatist," Cody looks at his general in disbelief.
His helmet hides his expression but he knows Kenobi can sense it. Through the force probably. Jedi tricks.
"Ex-separatist," Obi-Wan corrects him. "She knows how they operate. It'll be good for you to get a different take on the plan, we'll need all the help we can get for this mission.
"How can we even trust her? For all we know, she could be planted by them to mess it up. Or a spy and relay information to them."
"The council has deemed her actions true. She's been helping the Republic for a while now."
So that's why there's been a lot of success recently. Still, he tries to be wary of you.
The doors to the room slide open, revealing you propped up on a chair casually. After noticing their arrival, you stand and make yourself look more presentable.
No wrinkles to be spotted anywhere on your uniform. Hands kept to your back. At first glance, he wouldn't be able to tell you were one of them. You blended so well in this environment. Just another Republic officer.
Except you weren't.
"You are Jedi General Kenobi?" you asked, seeming a bit unsure of how to address him.
"Yes, unfortunately I won't be staying here to discuss the plan," the Jedi Master says and turns to Cody. "I'm leaving my commander for the task. You know where to find me if you need anything."
Cody stands there rigidly, watching him exit the room then looking back at you.
"So, Commander, where do we begin?"
The meeting went smoothly, to say the least. Not that his battle plan was perfect, you pointed out only a few weaknesses. Like the defense formations, attack points, modes of transportation…
Scratch that, maybe it wasn't as good as he thought. The target, a droid factory, recently got upgrades in response to the usual tactics deployed against them. It was near impenetrable. Almost. Even as one of the Republic's top strategists, if not the best, he couldn't really wrap his head around planning this strike. The separatists were getting smarter as the war prolonged.
But it wasn't horrible as well. In fact, you commended most of his tactics.
He didn't really know what to think about you, to be honest. You might have been on the other side of the war once, but maker were you one hell of a brilliant strategist. And a pretty one too, he adds. The fact that you used to be the enemy doesn't bother him as much as it did in the beginning.
After your last contact, Cody had a lot to think about. New ideas emerged on how to attack the factory as efficiently as possible with minimal casualties. Hopefully none. He was more concentrated on the latter. It was his men, his brothers being put on the line.
Wanting to hear your input, he sends out a transmission to hold another discussion. Almost immediately, your response showed up on his datapad, accompanied by a ping to notify it.
In two days. Same room, same time.
Cody sees you in front of the door and approaches. You only stood there, making no moves to enter the room. He hears you mumble under your breath, something about wanting to bleach your eyes out.
"Everything alright?"
Your eyes widen as you turn to him and stare before comprehending Cody's words. "Oh Commander, you're here. Yeah no, I'm fine. Let's have this meeting someplace else."
"Why? What's wrong with this one?"
"Trust me, you do not want to know."
"Well now you've got me curi–"
"Someone's getting on with it there," you cut him off mid-sentence.
"As in?" he raises his eyebrows, worried he had the wrong idea in mind.
"Yeah, that way," you chuckle.
"Well, uh, we can ask them to leave."
"Or," you suggest. "We just let them be and go to the library close by. They have private rooms we can use."
Cody thinks it through. He wasn't up to having a meeting in a room where someone just had sex or waiting even longer to schedule a room. If it was truly as private as you said, it should be good enough.
He agrees and follows your lead. It's silent, the journey there. You both not wanting to mention what just happened. At least that's what he assumed of you.
"Is that normal around here?" you break the tension.
Already knowing what you're referring to, he replies. "No."
"What about workplace relationships?"
"You sure do ask a lot of questions."
"Cause I haven't been here long. You know my situation."
The silence creeps up again. This time even more awkward than before, which Cody thought was impossible.
"You can ask me anything too. It's not every day you get to work alongside the enemy."
He turns to you when you describe yourself as such. A joke, he thinks.
"There are a few who commit to one but it's not so public," he answers. "My turn now. What made you defect?"
"Jumping straight there are we?"
"You don't have to answer that."
"I don't mind, I did say you can ask," you reply, taking a moment before continuing. "At first it was a few offenses. I thought that it was necessary for the cause y'know? Help systems gain their independence. Then Mahranee happened and I couldn't do it anymore, so I left. Wish I did it sooner."
He wasn't there to witness the genocide but he recalls minor details of it. It was horrific even without the full picture, still is. Too many lives lost from the greed of one.
Cody doesn't respond. Not blaming you for what you did, but not offering comfort either. And so he asks again.
"Then why not quit and live comfortably? You weren't forced to work for us."
"This was all my choice," you stated. "War's all I've ever known really. Don't know what else I could do."
On that, he agreed. Bred and trained to be the perfect soldier, he knew of no life for himself outside it. His sole purpose, a meaning. The path to Marshal Commander already laid ahead of him before he could even breathe.
Cody didn't even want to think about what he'd do when it finally ended. Or if he even makes it to that point.
Would the Republic emerge victorious?
You stop in your tracks and he follows suit. The library stood in front, its open doors welcoming any passerby.
As you walk towards the rooms, his eyes study the unfamiliar environment of endless shelves spread across the space filled with hundreds of books. Aside from the Jedi Archives, which was off limits to him, this was probably the closest thing available to the general public.
He notices a few people looking up from their books to stare at him, trying to go unnoticed. No one ever thinks of a clone trooper going here.
Some look with disdain, but Cody pays no mind to the attention. He'd gotten used to it now.
Finally reaching the room, you open it, and the lights automatically turn on. It looks just like the outside.
You set things up, find a spot to settle, and then ask. "Are you not gonna take your helmet off?"
Cody was stuck between the choice of removing it or keeping it on. On one hand, he could take it off since he is outside and it was way more comfortable. Over the years he had gotten used to having something around his head, but the feeling of not having it on was still better.
Yet he also felt uncomfortable not wearing his helmet. It was almost like a second skin, an extension of himself. Without it, he felt naked, raw, and vulnerable.
He decides to remove it.
Placing his hands on the bottom of his helmet, he pushes it up and a small hiss lets out.
Now with a better vision to scan his surroundings, he looks around the room.
"I go past this place often, never realized their rooms were so," he doesn't try to finish the sentence, the glimmer in his eyes already giving it away what words could not.
"I come here a lot, only reason why I know about this," you explain then start. "Tell me about what you had in mind."
It was a fruitful session, you took a liking to all his suggestions. He felt as if he had achieved something.
After helping you clean up, he walks toward the exit but doesn't feel your presence trailing him. Turning around he calls out to you.
"Are you not coming?"
Stopping in your tracks you look back at him. "I'm just gonna grab some books. You can go ahead."
Cody nods and leaves you on your own.
"I'm surprised you still want to go over it again," you say as your eyes rake over the book spines ahead. "Your plans already good, I don’t think you could improve it even more."
"There's always room for improvement."
"I've never met someone as dedicated as you," your eyes look away from the books and finally land on his.
He feels warmth rushing its way to his cheeks. In an unsuccessful attempt to conceal it, he looks away.
"I'm not just trying to flatter you, I'm serious," you stressed. "No one else asks to talk strategy multiple times, especially with me."
If only you knew the real reason why.
He brings up your book obsession, changing the topic. "Why is it that every time we come here, you always borrow one?"
"I can't help it, it's like they're begging me to take them away," you justify, going along with his diversion. "Do you read?"
"Only military textbooks. Nothing of this sort."
"Doesn't that get boring after?"
"I don't do it for fun," he looks at you. "It's for my job."
"Lame," you playfully shove him, forcing him to squint at you. "So you're telling me you've never read fiction?"
He nods.
"You should try it, branch out a bit out of your zone."
"Maybe."
"Look, I really don't know what else to say about your plan except that it's excellent. If you really want to refine it, which I highly doubt you can, have someone else give their view on it."
But Cody didn't want anyone else. He wanted it to be you.
"Maybe," he repeats. "Speaking of, I have a mission briefing tomorrow. You're free to come if you want."
His voice faltered slightly at the last sentence. Cody hoped he didn't sound too demanding.
"I'm not sure I can make it. I'll have to see what I have tomorrow."
This was standard procedure to Cody. Standing in a room filled with soldiers, most from his own battalion this time with some from the 501st. The blue luminous of the holo reflecting from his armor. General Kenobi and Skywalker were there as well, all watching him detail the plan to destroy the separatist factory.
While explaining, he tries to find that familiar face against the sea of identical helmets, the one that somehow always manages to make his heart race.
Ever since he met you, everything about him changed. He lost his stoic and commanding attitude, which were distinct to him, whenever he was around you. If others had seen the way he acts with you, they'd probably think they'd mistaken him for someone else.
But it never appears.
He understands that you were always one to stick close to schedules, accepting that you might not show up.
He had held out hope that he'd see you before the mission. Maybe as an an assurance that you'd still want to see him again, even after your work together is concluded. Hoping that you were fond of him just as he was of you.
To see him as more than just that clone who keeps setting up appointments with you.
Maybe he shouldn't have. All it ever leads to is disappointment.
The sounds of the gunship engines powering up were already loud, not to mention the marches of troopers heading to their assigned positions.
Cody does a quick survey on all of his men, making sure they're right where they're needed. As second in command, he felt responsible for all lives in the field.
He was assisting a rookie, unfortunate to have this as his first deployment when he saw you at the corner of his visor. After guiding him, Cody made his way to your standing figure waiting for him.
If you were to ever show up, this was the last place he'd expect. He didn't tell you which hangar he'd be departing from.
So you had to go out of your way to ask around for that information. Not an easy one to get.
"What are you doing here?" he takes off his helmet, surprise evident on his face. "Thought you were too busy."
"I am, just came here to say good luck."
Your fingers lightly trace over his pauldron. It was as if his own skin were melting from your touch despite the plastoid material blocking the contact.
Cody turns his head towards your bold yet appreciated gestures, then looks back up to your eyes. "Is that all?"
Your hand returns to your side. "Yeah. I don't want you dying, it'll look bad on my record."
"Nice to know you care for my well-being," he says, letting out a small smile that would've gone unnoticed had you not been gazing at him so intently.
"It'd be a shame if you didn't come back. I really wanted to see you again outside of work, Commander."
"Heh, a date. I was actually planning on taking you out first."
"Got impatient waiting for you to ask officially. And besides, I thought all those 'meetings' were counted as one already.."
"Right. You got a place in mind?"
"Our usual spot."
"Another visit there? You do not need another book."
"Yes I do. And you're coming with me so I can hook you up with some. I have a few in mind."
"Looking forward to that mesh'la."

I saw your requests are open so I hope it's alright if I ask for some Captain Rex headcanons with an anxious love interest or s/o? Like maybe she's nervous about working near/with the GAR as a civ but our 💙 good captain in blue 💙 makes sure she's doing okay whenever he gets a chance/wants an excuse to be near her >///< It's okay if you don't wanna do this or find it trickey, I don't wanna pressure you 💙💙
Tumblr media
More than alright, anon; plenty welcome, in fact! I'm feeling it for Rex lately myself, admittedly, so I hope I did him justice. I went with pre-relationship scenarios, so I hope that’s alright! If you’d like me to do a part a little differently, or follow up with the actual relationship, don’t hesitate to send in another request. 💙

Warnings and Information: Our good Captain in Blue has taken an interest in a certain civilian employee of the GAR, and it seems he's not quite so alone in feeling those butterflies in his stomach around her like he thought… Undescribed fem!Reader with unspecified anxiety/anxious tendencies. Little bit of mutual pining and some fluff, primarily. Follows bullet point format. No Mando'a used this time. The reader is given different "nicknames" from the Clones to bypass the use of a name in some cases.

First meeting you
He wholeheartedly supported the inclusion of civilian staff in the Grand Army of the Republic. If there could be non-Jedi staff at the Jedi Temple, why not have non-Clones working alongside the soldiers? It only made sense, in a way.
And despite initial (and natural) concerns from his men and brothers of the 501st Legion, they had no reason to feel wary about being treated unkindly or with prejudice by any who passed the background inspections to serve alongside the men in other manners. Clerical. Mechanics. Inventory specialists. A team of cooks and a handful of barbers were certainly popular rumors. The one thing in common was they were all kind and even friendly with his men, at the end of the day.
So the Captain gave it little thought to see civilian staff on base between missions: after a certain point, you just get used to them being there and respond "It's good to be back." to everyone welcoming you back to your home away from home as you step off the LAATs. Another victory secured for the glory of the Republic.
However, he'll always take notice of a new face. There's a young woman who has just transferred here in his absence. The polite thing to do is introduce himself, but when he approaches and goes to extend his hand, he's surprised to find you shy away in alarm - just a little. "Welcome to our humble little base. It's nice to meet you. I'm Captain Rex of the five-oh-fir- Ma'am, is… everything alright?" he asks, curious and a little concerned.
Your smile is sweet and apologetic as you tuck an errant strand of hair back into place before introducing yourself with your name. "I'm sorry, Captain Rex, I wasn't expecting any introductions when you've just gotten back. You surprised me." you explain, now cradling the datapad against your chest, or morerather squeezing it against you almost. Oh, that explains it, he just startled you. "That's alright. Sorry for scaring you."
He would have liked to continue to get to know you beyond the few little exchanges they had, before he was called to the war room for a debriefing and he needed to excuse himself to answer the comms. But he really wants to get to know you better. Learn where you had transferred from and why, and how recently. How you liked the base, so far, and how you were adjusting. Thankfully, there'll be time later, at least.
One thing, when he gets the time to know you, that becomes immediately clear to Rex in very short order is that you deal with some degree of anxiety (or at least anxious tendencies) in your day-to-day beyond getting adjusted to the transfer. There's a few notable quirks and idiosyncrasies that come up whenever you're nervous, Rex notices. And the anxiety is not just a product of wartime, either. There's a way you just "know".
Being helpful and sweet
Captain Rex asks a few of his brothers to try offering a little friendship to help ease you further into this transfer. Ideally, he'd do as much of this himself as he could, but he doesn't always have the time to spare.
But he uses every opportunity he can to check on you himself, of course. As you start coming out of your shell, and your personality really starts to come through, that's when Rex thinks about inventing reasons to seek your company. He's got a few minutes free, he's already in the hangar, maybe he could swing by and see how you're doing, maybe have a quick chat. He picked up an extra drink from the canteen by mistake, maybe you'd like something to drink? Does he really need to run this little bit of paperwork by you if your job is minimally involved? No, not really, but he has a chance to talk to you.
Jesse deduces early on that he “must really like our new transfer if you keep volunteering to take all the forms even remotely involved to her for everyone, Captain.” Jesse is being teasing and suggestive about it. Rex brushes it off and explains it away easily enough, kind of for himself as much as it is for Jesse and the others. “She wouldn’t admit to it, but I think the last time everyone was coming in and out of her office with all the forms and paperwork for her all day kind of sent her into a tizzy. If I just collect it now, and give it to her all at one time, it’ll make it easier on her. She’s still adjusting here. Just trying to make it easier on her until she’s settled in comfortably.” There’s a few sympathetic winces around the room, hearing that you ended up feeling anxious at the end of that day. And there’s a slightly cheeky grin from Fives that concerns him, only initially, but he finds it’s one of the agreeable smiles soon enough. “Makes sense, Captain. If there’s anything I can do to help-” Echo elbows his chest plate meaningfully, “If there’s anything we can do to help, Echo and I will be glad to do it.” Fives smoothly corrects himself as he volunteers to assist the Captain in assisting this new civ employee.
You who are so incredibly, incredibly kind, and compassionate to the needs of his men (and polite in your professional interactions with him). His men are always so kind to her in turn. Stars, he thinks he finds himself almost falling in love with you, bit by bit. You can be forgiven for your shyness when you're just so kind with everyone you meet.
The way to his heart is through his brothers
You’re muttering worriedly as you shuffle all the stacks of flimsiplast and a few datapads you need to return to people, looking for something. Dogma notices, and starts walking towards you, clearing his throat from a distance to announce his presence. Give you a warning that someone is approaching. "You won't find it on your desk: I took that report to General Skywalker during his meeting for you, miss. I would have let you know, but I couldn't find you." You give Dogma a gracious smile in light of his act of kindness when you ask where a particular report on your desk went, rather than looking or acting upset any longer that it seemingly disappeared when you went to the ladies' fresher. "Oh, that was sweet of you, Dogma, thank you… I appreciate you doing that." It was no trouble, Dogma promises you. (Both Rex and Dogma silently reason with themselves that she didn't need to know Dogma had almost gotten into a little bit of trouble with the other Generals for being so focused on delivering the report on her behalf he completely forgot to knock before he came in.)
You and Tup get along swimmingly. Rex finds himself - curiously - envying his brother only for a moment every time he finds Tup getting a little help with wrangling his hair. Thick and full of curls, the typical hair ties they can get their hands on often only last a mission or two before they can't contain his hair under his bucket. "Hey, Tup? You got a second?" He glances at Rex for approval for a moment; they're due to leave in a few minutes and are going over strategy. Rex nods. "What can I do for ya, darlin'?" You pull a little packet of hair ties from a pocket in your jumpsuit, and offer to redo the bun he has to throw together in a hurry with no time to replace a snapped band. "I went to a beauty salon yesterday on my day off, and I saw these. They're advertised to work better for your hair type than these." You explain as you pluck out the broken elastic and rebuild Tup's bun with ease. "There. Now I feel better. I hope those will work for you, Tup." Tup grins appreciatively, and promises he'll do his best when you wish them all luck and to come back safely before returning to your work. (Rex imagines your touch must be so gentle if Tup keeps touching his hair to check that it's truly tied up.) The hair tie outlasts the mission and then some. It’s weeks before Tup has to ask you for another, and he grins from ear to ear, eyes bright with surprise when you give him the remainder of the packet, promising the rest are his. “Oh darlin’, you’re too nice… Are you sure? Thank you.”
Captain Rex often finds Echo and Fives crowded near your desk while you work. The first instance of this, he's concerned about them bothering you of course, but just as he comes along to tell them to go share a shadow with someone else (Him. It's going to be him that they'll bother.) he finds that the three of you are figuring out the difference between form 1587-A and form A1587. "Hmm, look at this subsection here on 87-A, it's asking for things like what's been added to a materials manifest. That's not on the other form is it, Fives?" Echo asks, pouring over one form as Fives looks at the other for you. Three heads set to one task would get this sorted out. "Doesn't look like it. Oh, hey Captain. Need us for something? We're just helping her out with these forms." Fives replies before taking notice of the Captain, who's standing at a short distance. "No, no," Rex replies with an easy smile as you and Echo join Fives in looking up at him, "Only wondering what you three were up to. Don't mind me." he promises, only staying for a few more moments to watch as you and his men sort this mystery out. He's not sure if you're looking a little flushed in the face because of the paperwork debacle, or because he's watching you.
You have to hunt him down one morning for a signature, dressed rather nicely today. You have a meeting with the head of the civilian staff, and you need one last thing before you attend. "Captain Rex? Could I get you to sign off on this paperwork for me please since it pertains to the manifest you sent me?" Rex apologizes earnestly to you as he scribbles down the approval. "I'm so sorry, I must have forgotten… Was so concerned about Denal that it just slipped my mind." Kix chuckles softly, reassuringly. "He'll be fine, Captain. That battle droid was in worse shape than Denal after Jesse got to his position." Kix quickly promises to give you the story later as Rex returns the datapad to you, his hands brushing against yours innocently. Something feels electric between you from such a simple gesture. "You look nice today, sweetheart. Good luck with your meeting." Kix calls after you, chuckling softly when you can do little more than smile over your shoulder, your face looking a mite flushed with color at the compliment. His team medic turns to him to say something, but changes course when he notices that Rex hasn’t moved a muscle since your fingers grazed over his own. “Hmm, maybe it’s a little warmer here than I realized. You’re also looking rather flushed, Captain.”
He’s fine, just feels a little strange. He can’t explain why, though.
Catching feelings for each other
It takes a while for it to happen, but while Hardcase’s runaway speederbike doesn’t hit him as he’s taking it to the hangar to get it repaired, the realization sure does when many of Torrent Company come back from their last assignment dirty, disheveled and oh-so-tired, and you just simply smile at him and his men and tell them all individually, by name, that you’re glad to see him safe? Oh Maker. That’s when he knows. Yes, he loves you. “It’s good to see you made it back safely, Captain Rex. Welcome back.” Like a few of his men before him, since you greeted him last, you give him the option for a welcoming friendly gesture, but there’s a moment where you hesitate before you decide you’ll be a little braver.
“You look like you could use a good hug rather than a handshake, Captain.” You promise him a little grease, ash and soot from the battlefield won’t hurt your jumpsuit - which are meant to get dirty, after all. You just feel a little something extra will do him some good, seeing that you can notice how simply tired he is. (It was a successful campaign and fortunately, they lost very few troops this time.)
Seeing how serious you seem about it, Rex agrees. “That sounds nice.”
Both of you laugh and smile nervously, nerves buzzing with energy, by the time you and the Captain break the hug. You don’t want to risk getting in trouble when you’re still technically within your probationary period for anything like unprofessional conduct or PDA, but kriff it. The brief hug was worth any anxiety attacks that might be brought on by overthinking this later.
And if you were disciplined for offering the hug, Captain Rex would absolutely lie and say it was his idea. He notices you seem to hug your arms across your chest whenever you get particularly anxious over some part of your work on occasion, seeing how you take deep, calming breaths before trying to tackle the problem again. He could play off the hug using that as an excuse should anyone come asking questions about it. It’s unlikely, but a man of his experience wants to be prepared for anything.
(Even your men who decide to give you a little ribbing about it.)
“You’ve been smiling to yourself for the last ten minutes now, Captain. Any particular reason~?” He’s just glad to be home, Jesse. That’s a pretty good reason to smile.  “Oh, I’m sure… She must be glad too.” Jesse suggests with a short bark of laughter. He doesn’t pay it much mind, too busy calculating the days until the probationary period ends.
That’s just a week away. “That’s when I can hopefully stop feeling so nervous, all the time… At least, when you’re away, Captain.” you had admitted to him, ignoring how hot your face felt, maybe even looked. "I really do appreciate how welcome you and your men have made me feel here… Thank you for that. I took a big chance on this job and a location transfer, but I’m glad I did. Otherwise I… wouldn’t have met you."
And it’s more than okay when or if it turns out that your nervous tendencies don’t simply “disappear” by next week, too. Captain Rex has taken it into account and brushed up therapeutic and grounding techniques for those who live with anxiety as part of their daily lives, just in case he ever takes these feelings a step further, should he get an opportunity to. After all, his brothers are now taking bets on how long it is before the two of you are going to start doing things like getting lunch together from the mess…

Don't have a fic taglist for the time being, but I'll likely start one soon if I can figure out how to make those fancy forms some people have since I write a variety of stuff.

“Execute Order 66.”
“Yes, Lord Sidious.”
Rex had turned on his heels, blasters pointing at you and Ahsoka. Everything moved so fast, you almost didn’t have time to process what was happening: the clones, including Rex, had turned on you… They had turned on the Jedi. You and Ahsoka barely escaped the encounter and were now on the run from all the clones on the Jedi Cruiser.
You reached the doors when Ahsoka turned to you, determination in her eyes. “I’ll get Maul,” she said, opening the doors.
“What for?” You hissed.
“Diversion,” she replied quickly as the door opened. “You find out everything you can about arc trooper Fives. There’s got to be something there that can help us explain what the hell is going on here!”
You nodded and turned to face the other way, muttering a “good luck,” under your breath before running in the opposite direction. You had no idea where you were going, where your feet were taking you, but you knew you had to find out some information on Fives. Yours and Ahsoka’s lives depended on it. You reached a few droids and quickly turned them on, hushing them as they sprung to life. “Shh, guys, shh. I need your help,” you whispered softly to the droids. They bumbled in response. “I need you to find out anything you can on arc trooper Fives. Please, it’s an emergency. The clones have turned against the Jedi and we don’t know why!”
The droids bumbled again and quickly got to work, pulling up a report filed by Rex himself. In the report, you had learned that Fives was convinced of a conspiracy against the Jedi: an inhibitor chip placed in all the clones to make them do whatever they wanted, including executing the Jedi. Your eyes widened in shock as you listened to Rex’s report. That was it, an inhibitor chip. You turned around and sighed, a heavy weight on your shoulders. It was then that the doors behind you slid open, revealing Rex. His hand went straight to his blasters when he saw you, and yours straight for your lightsaber in an attempt to protect yourself: but you were too late. Everything went black.
When you woke up, you were in a holding cell with your hands tied uncomfortably behind your back. Your eyes immediately shot up when you heard a chuckle come from inside the room with you. It was Rex. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you sweetheart,” he said, his voice low under his helmet.
“Rex,” you whispered, breathing heavily as you struggled against your restraints.
“Stop that. You can’t escape from me,” Rex growled. “I should execute you right here and now, traitor.”
“Rex, this isn’t you,” you said as tears formed in your eyes. “You’re being controlled. Fives was right!”
“Shut up,” he snapped as he took off his helmet. He pulled his blaster out of his holsters and pressed it against your temple, his finger stuttering on the trigger. “I’ve always wanted to see you on your knees for me, Jedi.”
“Rex-”
“I said shut up!” he barked at you. Rex slowly removed his cod-piece and your eyes widened as he took his cock out of his blacks, pumping it slowly. His golden eyes looked down on you. Your heart was beating in your chest as he grabbed your hair with his free hand and forced you to look up at him, cock dangerously close to your face. “Suck it,” he demanded, the blaster still pressed firmly against your temple. “Suck it or I’ll shoot you right here.” You looked up at him through your lashes as tears gathered in your lower lash line. You slowly took his cock into your mouth and he immediately let out a groan. You hollowed your cheeks as you began to suck slowly, eyes never leaving his. Rex’s face contorted into one of pure pleasure as you swirled your tongue around his tip, lapping him up as if your life depended on it, mainly because it did. “You look so good with your mouth full of my cock,” Rex growled, his hips thrusting slightly into your face. You mumbled something around his length forcing him to press the blaster closer to your temple, knocking your head slightly sideways, but never once did you stop sucking. You stayed like that for a few minutes, a dull ache appearing in your jaw as Rex continued to fuck your face. His pace was slow, as if he was savouring the moment and suddenly he pulled you off of his cock with a slight pop. “Stand up,” he commanded. You did as you were told when suddenly he barked another order at you. “Face the wall.” You complied, facing the wall with a shudder. Rex dropped his blaster to his side for a moment as he yanked down your pants and underwear, leaving your bottom half completely bare to him. He pried open your legs with his foot and kissed up your neck. “Wanted to do this for so long,” he admitted breathily against your soft flesh. For a second, you swore you caught a glimpse of the ‘old’ Rex, a man no longer controlled by an inhibitor chip. But that Rex disappeared when he pressed the blaster back to your temple.
“Rex,” you whimpered, feeling his cock slip against your folds. You shouldn’t be getting turned on by this, yet here you were, cunt clenching around nothing as Rex continued to stroke himself against your entrance. “This isn’t you.” Rex stopped his movements for a second as he processed your words, but then without warning, plunged his cock straight into your core. A loud moan escaped your lips as Rex immediately began to thrust his hips against yours roughly, not giving you a moment to adjust to his length. “Rex,” you whined.
“I thought I told you to shut up,” he grumbled as his free hand grasped your hips tightly, angling you in a way that had him hitting that spot deep inside of you already.
“Feels so good Rex, kriff, don’t stop!” You cried out as obscene squelching sounds filled the room. Rex happily obliged, never faltering his movements as his blaster pressed further into your temple, his finger resting on the trigger. One wrong move and you were dead, you knew that, but the pleasure was too good for you to even think about it. “Rex - ah - my clit, please. I need to cum!”
Rex didn’t say a word, just grunted into your neck as his spare hand dropped from your hip and circled around your waist, fingers resting on your swollen nub. His fingers started moving expertly on your clit, dancing delicious little circles around it. Electricity shot up your body and soon you were twitching and clenching around him, cumming over his cock without warning. Rex let out a loud moan as your walls fluttered around him and his movements sped up, the primal need to fill you up completely taking control of him. He dropped his blaster onto the floor and grasped your hips desperately with both hands, pounding into you as hard and as fast as he could. “Fuck, I’m gonna fill your pretty fucking cunt right here, right now,” he growled into your ear, his movements never stopping. His hips began to stutter as thick ropes of cum spit out of his tip, filling you completely to the brim. Rex halted his movements and pulled out of you, admiring the way his cum dribbled down your thigh as you shivered uncomfortably. Rex pulled up your underwear and pants, and was about to open his mouth to speak when suddenly the doors opened, causing him to spin around on his heels to be met with a blaster shot set to stun. It was Ahsoka.
“Y/N!” She yelled, running to your side. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you whispered quietly, looking at Rex lying on the floor unconscious. “I don’t think I would have been if you hadn't shown up though.”
“Let’s not think about that,” she said with a smile, unclasping the restraints that held your hands behind your back. “Did you find out anything about Fives?”
You nodded. “There’s a chip inside the clones making them do this. It’s not their fault Ahsoka, they can’t help it. We need to get Rex to the medical bay, maybe we can help him!”
Ahsoka nodded and helped you carry Rex discreetly to the medical facility. The procedure didn’t take long and after a matter of minutes, Rex was awake. He sat up off the table grasping the side of his head as he groaned. Ahsoka was the first to sit up and greet him cautiously. “Rex… Are you okay?”
“Yeah… Yeah kid, I’m okay,” he whispered. He was about to apologise for trying to kill her, but then you stepped into view with tears in your eyes. You wrapped your arms around Rex protectively and pressed a kiss to his cheek softly.
“Rex, I’m so glad you’re back,” you cried, arms tightening around him.
“Y/N,” he whispered softly, tears filling his own eyes as his mind thought back to what he did. “I’m so sorry. I couldn’t stop it, I tried, I really did.”
“It’s okay Rex,” you whispered back. “I know you couldn’t stop it. But, if all clones have been ordered to execute the Jedi… Why didn’t you execute me?”
Rex thought for a moment. He knew why, he was in love with you. Maybe that played a big part as to why he didn’t execute you, but he couldn’t be certain. “I… I don’t know.”
“It doesn’t matter about that right now. We have to get out of here,” Ahsoka sighed as she looked around the medical room. You pulled away from the hug with Rex and nodded as you looked into his eyes. There were no words there, but you understood. When this was all over, when you got out of here, you were both going to confess your feelings for each other and smash your lips together. You swore you would.

CHAPTER 1 :: Kamino
Type: SAFE HAVEN; GN! Reader Character(s): Shaak Ti, Tipoca City Notes: So I decided to write it! This is the first chapter to my fanfic SAFE HAVEN! Hope you enjoy it <3
Tumblr media
The shuttle descended through the heavy rain, heavily touching down on the water-based city’s platform, the clanking sound of metal erupting through the windy air.
You glanced down at the cold cylindrical hilt in your hands, the polished surface dimly mirroring your nervous expression. “This is it,” you mumbled quietly, sucking in a sharp breath. And you were right. This was it. This was the moment you'd not only meet the Jedi you were to call your tutor, your master, from now on, but also the moment new doors would open and new paths would be provided for you to choose. A new life full of new possibilities. You shuddered excitedly. Suddenly the hatch opened with a swooshing sound and after taking a deep breath, you clipped the hilt of your lightsaber back to your belt and stood from your seat, smoothening out the creases of your tunic for what felt like the hundredth time.
Water splashed around as you disembarked and were immediately greeted with a tall Kaminoan woman. Her clean, silvery skin almost seemed out of place among the darkness of Tipoca City and her big eyes gently observed you. "You seem impressed," she stated quietly, her voice was sweet and welcoming. You almost didn't notice how your jaw slightly dropped as you watched the towering cloning facilities and the endless expanse of water below before quickly closing it and clearing your throat. "Ah, yes," you uttered, straightening your back, "It's, er, it's some very remarkable architecture." The Kaminoan glanced at you, almost thoughtfully, before turning around and making her way into the facility in slow strides, leaving you standing cluelessly on the landing site. "Hey, wait!"
Taking it as an invitation to join her, you stumbled forward until you finally caught up with her. "My name [name]!" You gasped, hardly keeping up with her pace, "I was assigned by the Jedi Council to be General Shaak Ti's padawan! Do you possibly know where I could find her?" Only now did you start noticing the cadets and troopers walking past, curiously glancing at you. You gulped. This would definitely take time to get used to. "I was already informed of your arrival, General Ti sent to collect you," she murmured softly, "my name is Nala Se, I work as a doctor and scientist here. As you'll be working with the clones from now on, I'm certain we will both have the pleasure of meeting regularly."
You almost felt a little bad for only listening to her with half an ear as you examined the clean, white walls and the large, transparent domes that proudly appeared through the glass windows of the corridor. You could almost feel your mouth get drier at the sight. So this was supposed to be your home from now on? It felt so different, so unusual. Almost artificial in a way. Crossing your arms over your chest, you couldn't help but hug yourself a little as the overwhelming feelings raged on within you.
"Nala Se!" A young voice erupted through the hollow corridor, drawing some attention of the bypassing clones as well as you and the Kaminoan. A girl, clearly a few years younger than you, approached you hurriedly. She hair short blonde hair and wore a white tunic with multicoloured sleeves. A large, excited smile was plastered across her face as she fixated Nala Se, not even noticing your presence as she bounced up and down like a super ball. "Omega?" Nala Se looked at her questioningly. "The padawan's arrival has been reported, they're here!" The girl, Omega, announced.
Something you'd almost call a chuckle escaped Nala Se as she slowly pointed at you. "[Name], this is Omega, my apprentice. She's been very excited to meet you." You glanced from her to Omega, who was now staring at you with big eyes until it clicked. "Your General Ti's padawan!" She squealed before waving you along, “Come on, the General’s already waiting for you!” Before you marched off after her, you sent a quick glance at Nala Se who just nodded quietly, giving you the answer you needed before hearing Omega call out your name.
As you followed the small girl through the facility, you couldn’t help but gawk at the highly advanced world of Tipoca City. It was impressive, that was for sure. “Aside from the general, I’ve barely ever seen a Jedi,” Omega’s voice caught your attention, “Do you also have one of those laser sabers?” A chuckle escaped your mouth at the sight of her curious eyes. “Yes,” You unclipped the hilt on your belt, holding it up for her. “It’s called a lightsaber. I can show you some of my tricks with it some time?” “You’d do that for me?” Omega clapped her hands excitedly as you nodded.
Finally, after earning some more curious glances from the clones, she stopped in front of a door. Just as she raised her hand to unlock it, it swished open and a Togruta appeared behind it, slightly taken back by you two. “Ah,” she then smiled as she observed you, “you‘re [name], aren’t you? I‘m Shaak Ti.“

These will probably get broken pretty much immediately but. Last minute double feature predictions:
Identity Crisis
Tech comes back, but he's not Clone X. He's just back. They had to go get him and he's maybe injured, but he's alive. Seems too simple? Well. Continuation of that.
Hunter knew that he was alive, gathering intel on Eriadu. And didn't tell anyone, least of all Omega.
The reasons for this theory: 1. Hunter is the only one to have never directly brought up Tech, in our one shot of him with the goggles he doesn't actually look at them, he looks past them at Lula. (Extra tinhat moment too but there is a light positioned behind the goggles that make them look like they're on, implying Tech is alive.) 2. Hunter also is established in season two as calling Tech every time he falls and receiving the confirmation 'we are alive' - but Omega is conveniently unconscious for an undetermined period of time. Long enough for Hunter to have commed Tech. (Also as a 2.5 - we could even wrap Plan 00 into this, if Tech told him 'I am alive, plan 00' or something of that nature.) 3. Hunter has a SIGNIFICANT track record of withholding information. The first thing he does in this show is lie to Crosshair about being sure that the jedi kid fell to his death (lol) and he doesn't tell Omega about trying to send her with Cut and he doesn't tell Omega about Echo planning to leave with Rex and it's implied he might not be planning to tell Omega about her being force sensitive. 4. Reflects War Mantle when Tech was the one to make the decision to leave Hunter like he was told to.
Anyway Omega is Pissed. Hunter told her Tech didn't make it (technically true) and let her grieve, alone, in a cell for months. No he couldn't have predicted she would be taken, but that's what the results were.
The identity crisis is Omega wondering if she's even a real batcher if she's not being treated like one of the team that deserves to be told things? Something as important as WHETHER HER BROTHER WAS ALIVE?
Also Omega deserves to be mad okay she's been building up her Upset for seasons let her explode please.
They do at least manage to make it back to Pabu but she's still Pissed
Point of No Return
Of course they make it back in time for the Empire to invade Pabu because HEY REMEMBER THE THING VENTRESS TOLD Y'ALL VERY CLEARLY TO YOUR FACES?
Things Are Very Bad, Pabu's residents are being rounded up/several are killed
Shep and possibly Lyana are captured and arrested (I still think that shot in Juggernaut is of Wrecker carrying Shep)
Omega gives herself up hoping that it will mean saving Pabu and because APPARENTLY self sacrifice is what you DO in this FUCKING FAMILY
They do take Omega but they continue wrecking the place including blowing up the Marauder
They escape via an imperial ship after Hunter yeets several stormtroopers off of it.
Everything Is Very Bad.
