as for my reasoning, pages tend to suffer from their aspect being taken from them or suffering from other people's manifestation of the PAGE's aspect. tavros's agency was always taken away by vriska. jake was everyones crush in the alpha kids group (one of hopes domain is sexuality and crushes. so its like they had hopes for jake) and it ended horribly. and horuss was often told off by meulin to keep a facade of smiles and politeness (voiding him even FURTHER). or whatever i dont remember much.
and yknow tumblr is like. why the hell does everyone think this site is dead? its cause twitter got most of the userbase when the porn ban happened. then BAM suddenly folks wanna get a piece of tumblr cause theyre all suffering under annoying billionaires (luxury is a domain of life, but can also be a source for doom).
as for 4chan. well ok im not familiar with 4chan but their vibes pretty similar to eridan so lets go with that.
twitter is a thief of heart because they always steal content from other sites (technically most sites do this) and its got a culture of being mean all the damn time even to earnest (heart) things. and i guess because of the short shelf life of tweets and trends, its impossible for most of its userbase to really make an identity? excpet for the influencers on there lol idk. so theres this lack of their aspect, which is a thing thieves go through and is something that causes them to always seek said aspect. still tentative!
tiktok is a bard of time because they invite destruction to time. they waste your time. they waste other peoples time. thats literally how its built. even its trends and culture make ME (personal opinion) go "why am i being subjected to this i dont care stop wasting my time". they dont last long either or at least dont stay relevant (to ME)
reddit. idk thats the place where smarty know it alls go. and yknow the challenge for seers is that they have to learn how to be wrong and EFFECTIVELY communicate with their teammates (kankri failed on both accounts. kept shitting on porrim. pre retcon rose failed on the latter because yknow alcoholism. retcon rose eeeeeh didnt really have a choice in improving herself on her own cause vriska did it for her but hey if it works it works i guess). if you make reddit into a person, seer feels like an appropriate class. also i picked rage for them because rage = truth. also lots of trolls on there, both in provoking rage through silly funnies, real life stories, real life but Insane stories, or legit fucked up stuff.
instagram is the maid of space because idk its vibes make me think porrim would like it. tentative idk much about it. all i know is that its very prospit-y because it requires the user to have a looot of grit to maintain their acc because of their shitty "post regularly" algorithm. at least from what i remember.
deviantart is heir of void because they are like equius. i think you get it. horses. sweat.
youtube is a knight of light because its culture revolves around its content creators! and yknow ccs gotta put up a front to entertain ya. its light because of its content! they literally need and breathe your attention. sometimes has educational stuff (knowledge) sometimes is just shitposts (attention) sometimes its really cool impressive stuff like speedrunning and gaming (victory/luck) sometimes its just funny challenges (success over goals). so putting all this together and makin a person out of it its like oh! theyre going to be sooooooo dysfunctional

I think i definitely would've liked Calliope more if she was presented as a bad person. I love how she absolutely malded (this term works here (wig)) when she was losing that chess game. Beforehand she was acting all snide and flirty towards Caliborn, like come on, "you're being such a good sport now finally", sending hearts <3 to him, saying weirdly suggestive shit. Like damn girl you're usually not this upfront. Then she gets thrown off guard and gets extremely defensive, it's hilarious. I really liked her when she acted two-faced, you can even take this literally, she's delusional. She dresses up as a troll because she has a fetish for them then starts shipping herself and friends together, no wonder why Caliborn sees her as so pathetic. All she has is ruses, i don't even think that SHE THINKS that she's all that strong. She pretty much relies on other's to get her through stuff and she even pretends to be someone else to progress the story. I've said it in the past but i think she should've been a misandrist, i think it would be funny for her to enable her female friends obsessive dispositions towards their crushes. Remember her drawing of Roxy trying to kiss Dirk while he looks visibly uncomfortable? It's stuff like that, have her perception on men be that they're props for the girls and you need to get a one-up on them in anyway to control them. Like drawing Dirk in a pink costume and being called something as gay as "the prince of heart" as an attempt at emasculating him. There's potential for this idea. She's better at being more composed and tactful than Caliborn, a good set up for being manipulative, she uses her fake politeness to slither her way onto C-Earth where i think she would have great potential to become a villain.
Just a bunch a thoughts about her bleh, she was kinda boring half of the time in the comic, stuff just gets handed to her and she's supposed to be a good guy despite forcefully separating Roxy and Rose that one time. Gave off control freak vibes. Her character feels inconsistent, like Hussie couldn't choose what he wanted her to be. I feel like her potential was underutilized
While Caliborn tries to be more in your face direct kind of deal, Calliope would have been someone who plays the more passive role. Doing her best to hide her true intentions or feelings and only showing her true colors when she is not able see the results she wanted or something else beyond her control comes her way. Calliope would shown to be no better than Caliborn and prove show how Cherubs are awful species. Sure there could be a chance of good Cherub, but like with trolls, there is some trait that would be frowned upon by human standards. Like you got Nepeta, she is playful and sweet, yes, but people forget she still hunts animals for food and PAINT. Some may find FLARP sessions that Tavros, Terezi, Aradia, Vriska, and Eridan engage in to be dangerous since it can lead to physical harm, be it from other players or the monsters they had set up. To trolls, such activities like this are a norm because they had been conditioned to live under it. But perhaps for Cherubs case, it might as well be in genetics as a species themselves that they act this way.
If she is also represents the 'good' side of the fandom, then one should show toxic positivity is just as bad. People who have good intentions, but their noble deeds can lead to harm if the intent behind it is still selfish, consciously or subconsciously. Maybe those who are part of the good fandom side that may disagree with certain opinions, everyone else immediately goes against them instantly at the drop of dime because they fear they instantly become bad, when there is more to it than that.
Actually show the grey morality on both sides of the fandom that would represent people like 4chan & old MSPA fans with Caliborn and Calliope with Tumblr.

you know what, i'm gonna say it. the sonic fandom is sexist as fuck. as someone who's been here for years, i've seen the way y'all treat male characters vs female characters.
when male characters like knuckles and shadow are written in an unflattering way- such as shadow beinf unnecessarily edgy and knuckles being a complete dimwit - y'all are so quick to say "blame the writers, not the character!!" but when female characters like amy are written in an unflattering, suddenly that logic goes out the window and amy has always been a selfish bitch who only cares about sonic.
and speaking of amy, y'all are too comfortable acting like her character revolves around sonamy and nothing else. i'll never forget when the sonic frontiers trailer came out and amy was confirmed as the voice, y'all scrambled for evidence that the voice wasn't actually her but some ghost girl from some 4chan leaks, even going so far as to accuse the official social media team of lying when they confirmed it was her. all because y'all didn't want a ship you hate to become canon. shipping has rotten y'alls brains.
lets also talk about the new imposter syndrome issue. people were upset about how easily metal sonic was defeated. which yeah, i can understand, i know what its likw to have your favourite character be done dirty. but on the other hand, i never saw all of this complaining when scourge was easily able to overpower sonic and friends. no one talked about how op he was.
i recently saw a tweet praising surge saying that she's a female rival with sonic's potential and people immediately started bringing up blaze and saying she "did it better". sonic has had multiple male rivals who could keep up with him and no one compared them. i've never seen anyone say knuckles "did it better" than shadow or bice versa. but the moment he has more than one female rival you have to make it a competition.
everything about the sonic girls has to be a competition, and not even in just a shipping sense. you've got amy vs sally, amy vs blaze, surge vs blaze. you never see competitions like this for the male characters.
and ever notice how its always the female characters being hated on in shipping wars? applies to every fandom honestly.
i can't forget the slut shaming sally and rouge received. some people STILL see rouge as just "boobs the bat" when she's so much more than that. as for sally, i can't remember people complaining about the male sonic characters not wearing clothes. why does sally get hated on for it?
i'm talking about the fandom here but honestly the franchise kinda plays a part in all this sexism. the way i can only think of four major recurring female characters - amy, blaze, rouge, and cream - compared to the amount of male characters this franchise has. and those four are not even treated well. i have an entire essay on how amy rose is probably one of the most mistreated characters in this franchise. and the other three aren't treated any better.
also ever notice how every time amy's role of reminding shadow of his true purpose is taken from her, it was a male character who replaced her (chris in x, sonic in archie)? it shows that sega sees their female characters' roles as expendable, unless they serve as a love interest. and yes, i'm blaming sega because they allowed this shit to happen.
if i can say anything positive, at least the sexism isn't as bad as it was before. but its still there. people may want to deny it, but this fandom does have a sexism problem.

Hello! This is a bit of a follow-up question about your FNAF post.
While I was never a part of the FNAF community, I was in enough tangential fandoms to get a feel for it, and it seemed to be mostly just kids and young teens having fun. But over the last couple years it seems to have shifted into a meaner and kinda reactionary space. Was it always like this or did something happen?

Now this is just speculation on my part, and I'm no psychologist so I could be very wrong and anyone who knows better is free to dunk on me, but this is my take on how this happened.
FnaF def started as a kids space. Even if that was never the original intention, it was bound to happen the moment Markiplier became the one to make it popular. And there's nothing wrong with that, there are plenty of things that started out as made for adults that ended up kids media, and arguably are better for it (TMNT, Cybersix, etc.) But that was a while ago. Almost a decade ago, in fact. If you were eleven when FnaF came out, you're eighteen now. And a ton of factors like rising political unrest, Qanon and Neo-nazi movements, the pandemic, and the decline of kids spaces online among other things have made the pipeline from horror-liker to reactionary far more efficient.
Worse still, is the fact that Scott Cawthon was very involved with the fans. He interacted with them openly, made all sorts of funny bits and collaborated with tons of youtube personalities, and he seemed like a genuinely pretty affable guy. It would have been very easy to look up to him at the time, I myself had a LOT of respect for Cawthon before we found out what he was really like, but when I found out I was old enough and involved enough with the queer community to understand why what he did was wrong. I was a junior in high school when the first FnaF came out, and lucky enough to already understand I was a lesbian and have friends from all over the gender and sexuality spectrums.
However most kids growing up with FnaF weren't like that. They didn't get to grow up with the delectable smorgasbord of kids horror content that I got to. They didn't have spaces like Neopets where they could just be idiot kids, cause even Club Penguin was on it's last legs around that time. Instead they had CoD lobbies, Twitch chatrooms, reddit and 4chan threads that they were practically driven to due to the lack of other places to express themselves online. And they weren't old enough to differentiate why something might be wrong, so instead they absorbed everything they came into contact with.
That's why, when Scott's donations were revealed, the fandom basically halved. Everyone was extremely attached to Scott Cawthon, and those who would be affected by his donations felt intense betrayal, never wanting to touch FnaF again, while those who weren't couldn't understand what the big deal was, having no betrayal to rip off their rose colored glasses they doubled down, only looking for things that proved to them that they were right and that they weren't bad people, delving deeper into right-wing talking points to avoid having to feel like they've done something wrong, because this is all they've known, Fnaf was with them for a hugely formative period of their lives, and it's scary to live without it. Creating insular echo-chambers and becoming more and more terminally online.
Basically what I'm saying is that if Club Penguin were still around we wouldn't have racist FnaF fans. It would probably also help if Pewdiepie wasn't Like That, but this video explains that part of it better than I can.

My thoughts on the core members of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5! Spoilers ahead.
Kenta (Joker): he's just like me for real!
But seriously though, I really like Joker, and it's cool to RP as him, especially since the modern setting allows me to do so more naturally. I especially like fitting in pro wrestling related headcanons to his behavior (my headcanon is that Kenta is a huge pro wrestling fan, and before the events of the game was training to join a dojo after graduating HS).
Ryuji: THE BROOOOO
My favorite of the Phantom Thieves, his hotheaded and impulsive personality reminds me of a friend I have irl. For some reason his voice reminds me of Axel from KH despite the two having different VAs, and the two characters are quite different as well. He was the first confidant I completed, and maybe in a different timeline he would have been romanceable.
Ann: A rose by another name
Ann's very sweet and kind, and yet posseses tons of internal strength. Her whole story arc with Shiho and her recovery is so heartwarming it was hard not to shed tears during their farewell. Her VA also did an incredible job throughout the game, it's between her and Ryuji for best VA performance in my opinion.
Yusuke: Lorenz Hellman Gloucester, but poor
Really knocked me for a loop when I first saw this guy, but despite the looks he is quite different from his Fodlan doppelganger. His confidant cutscenes are some of the goofiest in the game despite (or maybe because of?) his serious demeanor. Yusuke also gets bonus points for introducing Hifumi Togo into the story, the girl I chose to romance in my first playthrough.
Makoto: Breaking the rules, for once
This is a very unpopular opinion, but I don't particularly like Makoto. Her whole "follows the rules but her true self wants to break them" isn't appealing to me, reminding me of a few other characters from other games and media I've never connected with. That said, I do think she has a great friendship with Haru, and their Showtime is incredible (it's a series of pro wrestling moves ending with a tag team finisher! They are in love a tag team your honor.)
Futaba: On the spectrum, off the wall
It's always interesting to see characters in video games who are autism coded, and while Futaba isn't perfect (of course she's a hacker and visits 4chan 🙄), it's the little details like her elementary school memories (surprisingly similar to mine) and the way she approaches her self improvement after having her heart stolen that really impressed me.
Haru: We fly balloons on this fuel called love
I'd been extremely exited to meet Haru from the first time I sighted her in game, as she's voiced by the same VA who voiced Marianne and I wanted to compare the two characters. In contrast to Marianne's gloomy demeanor that eventually turns hopeful, Haru is a beam of light right from the beginning. Her introduction as a Beauty Thief is the funniest gag in the game, and she keeps her optimism despite incredible hardship involving her father. Shame she's introduced so late, by the time I got her confidants I was already with Hifumi.
Akechi: I have forgiven Maxwell
The moment Joker met Akechi, this started playing in the background:
Hair jokes aside, Akechi's a fascinating antagonist: much like Kenta/Joker and his friends he's an outcast in Japanese society, an orphan living in poverty, and has only been accepted due to his newfound fame as the Detective Prince. While visibly he resembles Light Yagami, his personality reminds me of MJF, who also manipulated the people around him for his own gain. I haven't finished the game yet so I don't know if Akechi will repent, but MJF did turn face with Adam Cole's friendship, so maybe Joker can do the same to Akechi.
