"BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN) (2020) Review

"BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN)" (2020) Review I never thought Warner Brothers Studios would do a follow up to the 2016 D.C. Extended Universe (DCEU) movie, "SUICIDE SQUAD". Not really. And there are reasons why I had harbored this belief.

Despite being a box office hit, "SUICIDE SQUAD" was poorly received by critics and many moviegoers. Yet, the movie also had its share of fans - including myself - who actually managed to enjoy it. But the Warner Brothers executives were more concerned with the critics' opinions than with box office performance. And since "SUICIDE SQUAD" was strongly associated with the D.C.E.U. films made by director Zack Snyder, I quickly formed the opinion that Warner Brothers would allow the movie to disappear from memory. So, imagine my surprise when I learned that the studio had green-lighted a movie about the experiences of the Harley Quinn character featured in "SUICIDE SQUAD". I am aware that she was the most popular aspect of the 2016 movie, but I never thought Warner Brothers would approve a follow-up film about her and the formation of the Birds of Prey. So, color me surprised when I learned that this new movie would be made and it would be directed by newbie filmmaker, Cathy Yan. "BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN)" begins four years after the events of "SUICIDE SQUAD". Off screen, the Joker ends his relationship with fugitive Harley Quinn by tossing her out on Gotham City's streets. After finding an apartment, thanks to a Tawainese restaurant owner she befriends named Doc, Harley became a roller derby player. Meanwhile, crime lord Roman Sionis has decided to become the new crime boss of Gotham following the Joker's disappearance. Due to a drunken Harley's assault on his driver and his memories of past insults, he tries to kidnap her, but the singer at his nightclub - Dinah Laurel Lance aka Black Canary - comes to her rescue. Impressed by Dinah's skills, Roman hires her as his new driver/bodyguard. Roman is also after a diamond embedded with the account numbers to the Bertinelli crime family fortune, who were massacred years ago. However, a young pickpocket named Cassandra "Cass" Cain steals the diamond from Zsasz and swallows it after she is arrested. Friendly with Cass, Dinah decides to become an informer for police detective Renee Montoya to protect the girl. Another person interested in Cass is Harley, who is after the girl and the diamond on Roman's behalf after he threatened to kill her if she does not cooperate. Another person threatening to overshadow everyone else's interests is Helena Bertinelli, a mysterious archer who has been carrying out a series of mob-related killings in revenge for her family's deaths. On the surface, I was inclined to regard the narrative for "BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN)" as a loose series of subplots that barely connected. But the more I thought about Christina Hodson's screenplay, the more I realized that there is one aspect of the film's plot that strongly connected the subplots. And I am not referring to Harley Quinn. To me, Ronan Sionis aka Black Mask is the cord that connects the various subplots. Think about it. Due to Harley's breakup with the Joker, he wants criminal control of Gotham City and petty revenge against her for past insults. Ronan had organized the massacre against the Bertinelli crime family with the help of his main enforcer Victor Zsasz, in order to get his hands on the family's diamond. This leads Helena to hunt down members of his crime family. Cassandra "Cass" Cain had managed to steal the very diamond that Ronan wants, leading to her becoming his main target. Dinah Lance was employed as the main talent at Ronan's nightclub, until he hired her to become his driver and a bodyguard. And because of Cass being endangered by Ronan, Dinah had agreed to serve as a spy within the Sionis' crime family on behalf of Detective Renee Montoya. As for the latter, she had been fixated in arresting Ronan for years. And because of this, she ended up being suspected from the police force and searching for Cass and the diamond. "BIRDS OF PREY" could have easily dissolved into a confusing movie that possessed disjointed story arcs. Thankfully, director Cathy Yan and screenwriter Christina Hodson had the good sense to use a strong and dynamic villain like Ronan Sionis as the main link to connect the movie's protagonists' varied subplots. "BIRDS OF PREY" also featured a rather unique narrative style that reminded me of the first half of "MAN OF STEEL" and "SUICIDE SQUAD" in that it depended on a great deal of story utilizing flashbacks. In the case of "BIRDS OF PREY", the film's narrative use of flashbacks struck me as very colorful and unique - almost with a strong comic book style to it. Mind you, the speed in which the narrative jumps between the past and the present is a bit mind boggling and can force a moviegoer to keep on his or her toes, while watching it. As for the film's action sequences - I enjoyed them, but most of these sequences seemed to be dominated by Harley. It is not until the last major fight sequence in which Harley needs the help of Dinah, Renee and Helena to protect Cassandra from Ronan's goons. And I must say . . . it was a well-shot fight sequence. As much as I had enjoyed "BIRDS OF PREY", I had some problems with the film. A lot of fans had complimented Harley's warehouse fight against Ronan's thugs, while accidentally inhaling cocaine. Honestly? I found Harley's accidental drug intake rather unnecessary.  There was another scene that really annoyed me and it featured Harley’s “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” illusions after being punched by Ronan.  It was one of the most pretentious montages I have ever seen in a comic book movie.  And very unnecessary. There was also a scene in which Dinah finally used the famous Canary Cry on many of Ronan's thugs in the film's final action scene.  After using it . . . she passed out. Why? Why was it so necessary to make her faint after using the Canary Cry? So that she and Renee would not participate in the chase scene featuring Harley, Helena, Cass and Ronan? Having the Black Canary faint after using her Cry irritated the hell out of me. However, my main problem with the "BIRDS OF PREY" narrative was that two actions by the Joker - his rejection of Harley and departure from Gotham City - kick started the film's story. If the Joker had not rejected Harley, she would have never been forced to re-start her life on her own and play a role in the formation of the Birds of Prey. And Ronan would have never made the effort to elevate his position to Gotham City's top crime lord. So . . . why did the Joker dump Harley? Why did he leave Gotham City? Unfortunately, Hodson's screenplay never provided a reason behind the Joker's actions. In the case of Harley Quinn and the Joker, Warner Brothers could have made a movie depicting their relationship and what led to their breakup. Or . . . Hodson and Yan could have provided some explanation on why the Joker had dumped Harley in the first place. But what I found really baffling was his decision to leave Gotham City. Why did he do it? And why did Hodson and Yan make no effort to explain his disappearance? I certainly had no problems with the film's performances. Margot Robbie, as usual, gave an energetic and skillful portrayal of the comic book villain. Some have claimed that Robbie's performance in "BIRDS OF PREY" was superior to her performance in "SUICIDE SQUAD", due to how Harley was written in both films.. To each his or her own, I suppose. Personally, I found this claim hard to swallow. I thought Harley's characterization was excellent in both films. More importantly, both films did an excellent job in depicting Harley's character during different periods in her life. I have only seen Ewan McGregor portray a villain - major or minor - in two other films before "BIRDS OF PREY". And honestly? He should portray villains as often as he can. I thought his portrayal of the narcissist and vindictive Ronan was superb and spot on. I also enjoyed how he managed to inject a bit of homoerotic overtones in Ronan's relationship with his henchman, Victor Szasz. Another performance that I truly enjoyed came from Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Dinah Laurel Lance aka the Black Canary. Smollett-Bell did an excellent job in conveying Dinah's emotional turmoil over her current life and desires. Thanks to the actress' performance, Dinah seemed torn between her disgust and fear of Ronan, her sense of self-preservation, her continuing trauma over her vigilante mother's death and her desire to help others - especially someone like Cassandra Cain. Rosie Perez gave a first-rate, yet colorful performance as the world-weary and alcoholic Detective Renee Montoya. Perez skillfully conveyed Renee's struggles with being underappreciated by her fellow Gotham City Police detectives and being rejected by her ex-girlfriend, District Attorney Ellen Yee. At the same time, Perez's Renee conveyed a steely determination to not only arrest Harley early in the film, but also bring down Ronan at all costs. "BIRDS OF PREY" proved to be Ella Jay Basco's second movie in a career that spanned at least six years. I thought Basco gave a first-rate, yet subtle performance as the pickpocket Cassandra Cain. Basco managed to form strong screen chemistry with both Robbie and Smollett-Bell. And she also conveyed a talent for sharp and witty dialogue that seemed to come from no where, taking others by surprise. The role of Helena Bertinelli aka the mysterious archer aka the Huntress was a curious one for actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Her role in the film was not as big as the others. And unlike the others, her connection to Ronan was clouded by the fact that she was unaware of Ronan being personally responsible for her family's deaths. Despite having a smaller role than the other protagonists, Winstead gave a memorable performance the ruthless assassin, whose emotional growth, stunted by past trauma, made it difficult for her to connect with others. I have personally not seen Chris Messina in a movie for nearly a decade - not since 2012's "ARGO". But I have to admit that the role of Victor Szasz has to be one of the most fascinating I have ever seen him portray. Messina's Szasz is a brutal, yet observant enforcer with a talent for ass-kissing I have yet to see in any other comic book movie. Not only was Szasz one of Messina's best roles, but I also believe it was his funniest. The movie also featured competent performances from the likes of Steven Williams, Ali Wong, François Chau, Daniel Bernhardt, Dana Lee and Derek Wilson. Overall, I enjoyed "BIRDS OF PREY" very much. It is not perfect. No movie really is. And I have pointed out that I believe its main flaws came from Christina Hodson's screenplay. But I thought she did a good job in using the Ronan Sionis character to connect the protagonists' subplots in order to form a main one. The cast, led by Margot Robbie, provided excellent and entertaining performances. And Cathy Yan proved that given a chance by the studios, she is a talent to be reckoned with as a director.

The Longest Road

Batman returns from the Alley, where he’d been paying his respects to his parents, to find all four tires missing from the Batmobile. He stares. The sheer audacity. Incredulous laughter bubbles up and spills from his throat. 

He should… he should hunt the theif down. He should get them back. Tires for that tank are custom. Expensive. Lucius is going to kill him for losing them but to hell with it. If someone can make it past all his security and steal not one but all four of his tires in the twenty minutes he’d been gone… they fucking deserved them.

A tire iron catches his eye nearby, abandoned. He’d make sure it went with them when Alfred brings a new set. And if he refuses to look Alfred in the eye as he puts them on, that’s his business.

If the size of the fingerprints on the tire iron make him start patrolling the Alley, no one says anything.

Jay Todd becomes a legend practically overnight. No one who looks at the tires can mistake their origin. To think that some scrub street brat from the alley had the balls to steal from the Batman…

She fences them easily. 

A little too easily, truth be told. She starts getting scouted and it spooks the hell out of her. What the hell do these people fucking want?! 

“You have talent.” The Penguin smirks as he hands her a Shirly Temple. “I’d hate to see it go to waste.” 

She politely smiles as she slips away, anxiety making her heartbeat sound like drums in her ears.

“You got balls.” Black Mask leers, running a hand across her shoulder. “I could use a pretty thing like you.” 

She almost hadn’t made it out of that one.

“You got style.” Catwoman smirks. “But I’m not the mentor type. You’re gonna have to choose, kid. They’re gonna keep coming for you. And they’re going to stop being so polite.”

This was polite?

She just wanted to live. She hadn’t wanted attention, only to eat. 

If she had to choose… did she have to choose one of the crazy-ass rogues? Desperation drives her into the Red Lion, the front for the Sullivan family. Irish mafia and the assassin hand of the Falcones. 

“Ho-ly shite.” 

A voice calls as she enters and the dull roar of conversation slowly dies as everyone turns to stare. She knows she doesn’t look like much, in her filthy clothes, drenched by the rain. She knows she isn’t much. But she’s desperate.

“Isn’t that the Todd girl all the rogues are fighting over right now?” Someone else asks.

Shit. What is she even doing here? She shouldn’t be here. Jay turns to flee but a hand settles on her shoulder. She flinches. 

“Hey now, none of that.” The voice is warm. Welcoming. “Don’t go back out there. It’s pissing down. Come in and have a seat.”

Jay looks up into the face of Niamh Sullivan’s face, the matriarch of the family. She has the feeling that no one says no to Niamh Sullivan. In moments she finds herself next to the fire with a bowl of soup and a chunk of bread and a pair of green eyes resting heavily on hers.

“I’m betting,” Niamh states, “You didn’t come here for a pint.”

Slowly, Jay shakes her head.

“Tell me, pet.”

She does.

That night, she’s tucked into a bed, after a hot bath, with a full belly.

Her new life is an exercise in contradiction but one she finds she doesn’t mind. It’s Catholic school and evening prayers. It’s target practice,  business, and business. 

Jay Sullivan thrives. 

During training one day, she gets separated from her family. Gets caught. Get’s hurt badly. She can’t move as the Joker stands over her with a crowbar and a wicked smile on his face. She doesn’t get it. She’s not a mask. She doesn’t have anything he wants. He’s just being a cruel bastard.

The beating is agony. She thinks she’s going to die, in that tiny warehouse. On that shitty pier. And she can’t help but be a little grateful because she got a few more years than she expected. Because she got to experience a loving family and the warmth of a real home. 

She hopes that they find her body. That they know what happened to her and don’t think that she just ran away — ungrateful for everything they did for her.

The crack of a gun comes out of nowhere and the blood sprays over her face. A perfect shot right through rogue’s throat. Niamh, Liam, and Ronan storm into the warehouse, the noise of gunshots deafening in the small space but the most beautiful sound in the world. 

She’s never felt so safe, as Niamh empties a magazine into the clown’s head, before she’s bundled up in the arms of her family and taken home. 

True family will kill for you. 

Along with a few of her cousins, she’s in Ireland when the Holiday Killer wipes out the active members of the family. When she returns, she swears vengeance and actively works to find and destroy enemies of the family. The main branch in Ireland send her help, full of grief and anger at the loss of their blood.

As the Falcone family is wiped out, Sullivan rises and she easily steps up, taking the spot now vacant. 

It’s war in the mafia families as Jay tries to root out who killed her adoptive family. With each step forward, she wipes out or incorporates another branch. Consolidates more power. She’s just as ruthless in the boardroom, wielding the companies she’s taken over, as she is in the streets.

Whispers name her the Morrigan.

Roman Sionis wants her dead.

Harvey Dent thinks she’s amusing.

Cobblepot is unconcerned, sure that is safe in his ice palace. 

The Batman is taking notice. 

With her new power, she tries to do some good. She remembers her childhood. Her time on the street. She sets up shelters. Starts programs. Buys up property in the Alley for low-income housing that’s actually habitable. 

Jay Sullivan begins to get invitations to fancy events. She’d been a few times, on the arms of the Falcone brothers when they wanted a pretty face to show off and a bodyguard no one would expect, but she hadn’t moved in the type of circles to get them herself.

She’s never met Bruce Wayne before.

But now, with the rise of her companies and her power in Gotham, it was inevitable.

She wasn’t impressed. 

At first.

It was supposed to be information gathering. That’s all. 

But Bruce finds himself drawn to her. Despite because of her reputation for ruthlessness and her bloodsoaked nickname. Dick teases him about his penchant for attraction to dangerous women.

There’s something about her. About her presence.  He can’t help but be attracted. 

He can tell she doesn’t think much of him and that’s to be expected. Brucie does exactly what he’s meant to do. 

Then, she starts to challenge him. She challenges WE’s social work and policies. Challenges their charity branch. Openly. In front of everyone. And doesn’t back down when he tries to play the airheaded CEO.

When he takes her to dinner and drops the persona she only arches a brow. He hates that he loves it. He asks her to be his companion to the annual Wayne Gala and she accepts.

Somehow, he is not surprised when, after the gala, he finds her stretched out on the hood of the Batmobile.

“You know, I stole the tires off this thing once.”

He chokes and she pulls him into a kiss by his tie. She tastes like his champagne.

Bruce X reader.

Summary: The one where (Y/N) tell how she meets Bruce

Tonight was a slow night, Bruce, Dick, and Damian went on patrol. When they saw what a slow night it was. Bruce sent them back to the manor. Now they were sparing with each other. Their mother was working on the Bat-computer while Alfred was upstairs making tea. (Y/N) was giving some directions.

“Now if you go to the left you will be right under them.”While she was talking she heard a thump from behind. She turned around and saw that Damian took dick to the floor. then Dick took Damian foot and slammed him to the ground. “BOY, STOP. you’re going to pop yesterday's stitches” Yelled (Y/N). 

Dick lifted his upper body and turned to her. “Don’t worry mom. we’re good.” He said with a nose bleed. Alfred came through the elevator with a tray of cups of tea. He got closer to (Y/N). Has he set the tray down he handed her a cup of tea. The boys got up from the floor and walked closer to them. Alfred handed Damian his cup while he gave Dick a napkin to wipe off the blood.

As they drink their tea, their mother kept staring at the feed that was showing on the monitor. Her children look at her and they could see something in her eyes. That’s when Damian remembered their conversation from two weeks ago. “Mother.” His mother hummed as she kept staring at the monitor and gave a sip of her tea.

“Do you miss it,” Damian mentions looking that his mother. Dick was a bit confused has to why he would say that.

“What do you mean?” Dick question.

“Right you guys weren’t there when she told me. Mother is from a mafia family.”

“WHAT! Since when?” he looked at his mother.

“Well, Dickie if it’s a family a think that is since always.” She said with a slight smile as she raises her cup to her mouth. She looked back at the screen, then back at her children. “Sometimes, not the whole killing, drug dealing, and the kidnapping. But being out there and beating some people up was sort of my specialty. I never really love being the boss but I did enjoy kicking ass.” she said with a smile.

“Well, mother. Can you tell us how you met.”

“Well, I did say I would. It was about 20 years ago”

This was a new life for me while my father was in Black Gate. I was trained by my family, well by my 2 aunts and uncle. I was was not yet accustomed to being a boss, let alone a mafia boss, but for now, I was enjoying the party. I have no idea why I’m here but they just told me that an invitation came for me, which was odd, but not unusual. My father is fairly known through Gotham both good and bad. I the other hand, that was different. He always tried to keep me out of if his work has much has he could. Now that he was gone, he couldn’t. So, I came to his art gallery party. This was unusual for the man who is throwing the party. Bruce Wayne, he normally throngs galas or party at his home but in and art gallery, that was odd.

I thought I could have talked to him. Not, tonight though he was busy keeping the old farts occupied. So, I signed a check and went on my merry way. I have bigger shit to deal with right now. Roman Sionis was parking at the trees, he is trying to get my territory. That shit could get real ugly real fast. Yet, I kept calm and told my men to keep tabs on him one move that was out of place was to be reported to me. Although right now I had another plan in mind. I was going to meet the man who put away her father. The Batman. He will be my gateway to take Roman down, Though he didn’t know that he was going to meet me. So, now I am here in the second tallest building in Gotham. And I am going to through myself to see if he will come and rescue me.

God, it’s cold up here. That is when I heard someone drop onto the roof, I was going to turn but I didn’t cause I knew that is if he sees my face he might know who I am. Then he won’t help me so, I will take my chances with a 1,050ft drop. 

“Let me help you.”

“Why?”

“Please step off the ledge”

“No” I stepped forward and went down. I could feel the air pulling my hair up and that is when I felt it. I felt an arm wrapped our my waist and pulled me close to his chest. we landed on a nearby building while I was close to his chest. 

“Are you okay?”

“I am now.” I look up at him. He, on the other hand, doesn’t look too happy. The real question is when does he ever.

“What do you want.”

“Well for starters you can be happy to see me.”

“I should be cuffing you to a spot and calling Gordon.”

“And why is that? I haven’t done anything wrong” I said in a sing-song kinda way while I walk to the railing and got a good look of the city. “ Anyway, I’m not here to cause any trouble. I did that little stunt cause I need your help.”

“And with what exactly?”

She turned to face him and her hands were stretched on both sides and said.

“Has much as I don’t like my job, I still have to keep up the fort somehow. An for that I need you you to take Ronan for me.”

“Why would I do that? I don’t do anything for criminals.”

“Yea, well I don’t do plans with the guy that took my dad to jail but what can do. Plus, a little kitty told me you do favors. Has much as she has stolen from me she has a point.”

“Well, I am not interested.”

“Then get interested, because as much as I hate you I need it. Ronan is coming to my territory, and he's going to start a war is he gets any closer. I don’t want that we know that there's going innocent people getting caught in the crossfire now for the love of.  Will you help me.?!” He didn’t look impressed at all he just Hmm’ed. I was mad.

“Fine you wanna do that okay. I won’t do jack shit. I am not my father and I’m trying to clean a little not do worse things around here. So, Hmm’ed all you want I will let that bastard ruin everything to you can pick up all that is left.” I went to the door that leads to the stairs of the building, I opened the door. Before I left I turned and told him. “You are interested you know where to find me”

With that, I left the roof. That night was stressful after I got back I earned an earful about my aunts. Saying that I shouldn’t have gone to him for help. I was thinking they might be right, so, I gave it put for a while and tried to get everything under control. 

Once again I was invited to an event, This time wasn’t to a gallery it was to a gala for the mayor. Most of the politicians are corrupted and like any other corrupt politician they need the mob behind them, God all I want is a freaking burger nothing else. All these men and women all pampered and only care for themselves. That pisses me off, why are all these people old there isn't anyone a bit my age to talk to. Now I have to be sitting at my table, alone, with two old pervs and an empty sit that the person has yet to arrive.

"And who are you, Little Miss?" one of the old men said his breath reeking of alcohol. I have no intention of answering. I'm here to talk to the mayor, donate, and leave. 

"Aren't you going to answer?" The other man said.

"No," I said with no emotion on my face

"Do you know who we are. I don't even know why your here. This is the VIP table. Why are so important." These men are making me angry. They don't know that I could break their arms.

"I'm here to donate for the mayor and leave. And if I am in this table it means that I'm as important as you men."

" Are you sure you are as important as us or are you just here for the mayors in other business."

"That is in no way to speak to any woman, Please do have some respect." A sudden new voice came from the side of us. A tall man proximally 6' something, he has jet black hair and deep blue eyes. Bruce Wayne was the one missing from the table. Bruce Wayne. What an Ass. 

"Mister Wayne, we didn't if you were going to arrive."

"Why are you saying something so stupid." He said as he fixed his bow tie. Damn this man is too handsome for his own good. He took the chair pulled it back and sat down. "If she is here it means she donates the same or more amount of money then you. So, please stop with the degrading."

"We weren't degrading her."

"No, you were just telling her that she may be a prostitute." The men huffed and both of them stood up from their chair and then left the table. Then he turned his attention to me. "Well, I don't think we've met. Do I know you?"

" No, we haven't. But I am certain that everyone in this room including me knows who you are," I say with a slight smile on my face. He smiled back and we started to talk with each other.

“A thank you is in order.”  I take my hand and extended out to shake his hand. "My name is (Y/N) (L/N), Nice to meet you, Mr. Wayne 

“ Well, Nice to meet you as well, Miss. (L/N).” He extended his and we shook hands

“What that’s it. Nothing more you just meet and them Boom you got together?!” Said Dick.

“No there’s more but I have things to do tomorrow, and it’s 3 a.m. I don’t want to be late. So, good night, please go to sleep, especially you, Damian.” She pointed at Damian. “You have school tomorrow.” Damian scuffed and crossed his hand. 

“Well, good night boys.”

A fanfic idea

Ok,straight up I’m absolutely shit at writing so if you’re good I have so so so much respect for you. Second,I’m a dumb person who is a sucker for high school AU fics

So, if anyone would want to write a Ronan Sionis/ Victor Zszaz high school fic Is absolutely love you forever.

Wildcard and Eleazar. Like, they're both of alien origin, they're polar opposites which is pretty cute, and because it means that the Gardner children officially have a thing for clowns, which I personally would find hilarious.

The very first thing I thought of was Ronan and Eugene laughing and Elazar just snaps at them and they’re all “I’m sorry it’s just...I never pegged you as a clown-fucker, Ella-“ “You know what? You guys are dating the Sionis’, I really don’t want to hear it.”

Lucy, setting down a card: ace of spades

Seiji, pulling out an Uno card: +4 bitches!

Sadie, tossing down a random card: go fish

Ronan: Pikachu! I choose you!

Eugene: w...what are we playing?

Ronan: *carrying all the groceries in both hands*

Maddox: *reaches out to help*

For Kendrick he’d get all awkward and shy and would probably just go with Mina and call it good, he can’t get too sappy without getting flustered

T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

These do not need any more crazy shit in their lives, so Nina and Wayde just like to chill at one of their houses and cuddle and watch tv or just hang out with each other’s families. They also play a lot of board games and Wayde always lets Nina win until she figures it out and makes him play for real

Then you know Ronan would find some weird shit to do, he’s a man that needs a lot of stimulation to function so he’d probably drag Maddox into his crap-

Adrian and Ronan? I know Dolly already did it but I wanted to see your take!

Why they could work:

- He wouldn’t have to worry about Ronan yelling at him, yeah he’s got anger issues but he tries to save it for who he’s fighting, he doesn’t like yelling at anybody he loves. He already broke his best friends face, he doesn’t want to do anything like that again so he made sure to change and got actual help (I mena weed too but therapy too). But Adrian would watch as Ronan yelled at other people

- Ronan’s a pretty big flirt, and Adrian seems like the type to either flirt back or simp

- Ooh plus him and Eugene could have double dates

- Ronan wouldn’t mind giving him constant reassurance and compliments, he’s all about that

Why they couldn’t work:

- Ronan’s anger might remind Adrian of Romans. Like I said he doesn’t yell at his loved ones anymore at all, period, but he still has a temper and would yell around him. But he’s high all the time to cool that down so not sure how Adrian would feel about that

- Plus Ronan’s all guns, Sadie wouldn’t like to be around that

Stupid idea: Ronan got excited when Eugene started dating Sadie cause he wanted to see more or Roman Sionis cause he was a simp for some reason-

Ronan and Sadie for complex reasons-

It’s so fucking weird cause Ronan wakes up in the Sionis house and at first he’s like “whatever” until he realizes he’s in Sadie’s room and that’s certainly not normal. He’d honestly also try to kill Roman while he’s there since hey, he’s got a clear shot, but he forgets he doesn’t have his robot arm so Ronan just sees Sadie hold her arm up and stare at him and he’s like “Uh.........you good-?”
