In the Pokemon games, from Generation IV onward, the Dusk Ball is a unique style of Poke Ball that usually has a 1x rate of capture, but if used at night or in a cave, this ball gets a boost to 3.5x the normal capture rate. This doesn’t work in a few indoor areas of the Generation V games, but in Generation VIII, it keeps the higher boost even during the day if it is during the Darkest Day in Sword or Shield, or on Newmoon Island in Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl.
Do you have a favorite pokeball? I'm personally partial to heal balls and luxury balls, they just look nice to me :)
I really like luxury balls the best, though I am also partial to nest balls. In gen 3, they made little hearts and though it's no longer there, I still like it anyways :V
It is actually common for Trainers to have their Pokémon outside of the Poké Ball. The most common reason for them to be kept in the balls is for convenience of travel or space. For example, fish Pokémon are often kept in the Poké Ball while traveling on land, and large Pokémon are often kept in the Poké Ball when in towns.
Amity Park plays reverse “Who’s that Pokemon?!” but it’s with the ghost of the week while Danny Phantom shakes the thermos like a vaguely threatening maracas at the ghost.
I went to a Pokemon plush pool party - or more specifically, the second one because I missed the first one. We got foam poke balls and if we hit a plush with one, we could keep it. I wanted to get more psychic Pokemon, but one person was hording them in a big pile. Thankfully we could also trade Pokemon, so I got at least one plushie I really wanted.
