man I'm just gonna say that it's incredibly fucking weird to walk onto a stranger's blog, project your own predatory age headcanons onto a character with no canon age, and then decide that means the blogger condones it.
like?? my dude?? the only person talking about that is you because it's your headcanon?
"you're bad because I think of this ageless character as a 30yo being paired with a teen" well I sure goddamn don't and I didn't need to hear that shit! it's not only extremely inappropriate, it's creepy as fuck! so like, maybe do some self-reflecting on why you decided that a stranger should abide by your headcanon, and maybe also stop doing that.

Ok, let's talk about Kiriona Gaia.
I think her trauma and isolation demons have come home to roost and she's acting entirely in character. She's traumatized, stuck without the only person she truly cares about while simultaneously hating said person for spitting her sacrifice back in her face, has been handed her wildest childhood fantasy and realized it's totally...pyrrhic (whether it's joining the cohort, having a powerful parent, or getting revenge on Crux).
She wanted to get off 9th and join the cohort so she could have a life and stop being Harrow's metaphorical puppet, and now she's there but with absolutely no real future in any way that matters since she is literally a corpse puppet. She couldn't even control her own death and now has even been stripped of her very name. She has no hope, no agency, and is utterly alone in every way that matters.
She was always at least a little bit of an asshole, though a loveable one (and GtN was her own pov). My assholery would be turned up to 15 too under the same circumstances. Harrow isn't the only one undone without the other.

I mean think about it chat noir is a dark masked character that has an extending stick
He just swapped the hair colors and did pigtails instead of buns with tails!

I just had a Massive realization.
TLDR: What if the Tornado of Creation killed Lloyd at the end of the oni trilogy bc Spinjitzu starting in season 8 was shown to be physically draining?
Okay, so per my last rambling hc/observation thing. Spinjitzu starting in season 8 appears to be physically draining for the ninja. Similar to how their powers/abilities can be. Like Cole using his lava arms in the ice chapter to save the fishermen guys and he collapses afterwards. Or lloyd in master of the mountain when he tries to defeat greif bringer. He uses a lot of energy and nearly falls if not for Zane. Jay in seabound recharges the hydrobounty and seems in pretty bad shape there for a moment.
Nya and Kai are the exceptions. We only see Kai seeming drained from his power in the ice chapter when he uses it to defeat the dragon. and that's only because he was getting the powers Back.
Feel free to point it out if im wrong. but i can't remember any times nya was shown to be exhausted by her element.
So then, if spinjitzu requires a lot of energy from the ninja what if that's an in-universe explanation for them not using it so often. If it's hard to do, it makes sense that they'd try to use regular ninja fighting first if they can. And, by extention, wouldn't the Tornado of Creation be something that requires a lot of power?
What if that is the in universe reason for them not using the Tornado of creation too?
And, this leads me to my Big realization. What if that's what fucking kills lloyd at the end of march of the oni??? Like i've seen the memes about him being killed by a beam of wood when he regularly jumps off buildings. but like what if it wasn't hte beam? Bc we've Never seen lloyd up until that moment, be in the tornado of creation! he's never done it.
And his power is Literal energy! So it makes sesne that if/when he loses all of it or too much, that it could kill him! it even follows along with what happened after his fight with his father in True Potential. Lloyd was said to be bleeding out his life force. Meaning his power/element Is his life and withotu it he can die. That's why the ninja had to give him their powers to save him. So he'd have enough energy to keep living, even if it meant he was too weak for his powers for a little while.

Everything about these two panels...
Kyle making an assumption and the art director Andre clarifying that he is not gay and then asking “What about you, man. You’re an unmarried artist living in Greenwich Village. What do people say about you?” Kyle’s face in the panel and the next where Andre says “Boy.” I have so many thoughts about this like holy shit.
By the way, I had no idea what this means because up till now I always thought Greenwich Village was just another made up comic place, but no! It’s a real place and... “The epicenter of the city's 1960s counterculture movement, the tree-lined streets of Greenwich Village are now a hub of popular cafes, bars and restaurants. Jazz clubs and Off-Broadway Theaters can also be found amid the brownstones and New York University buildings. At its heart is Washington Square Park, where people mingle around the central plaza. Rainbow flags attest to the neighborhood's LGBT-friendly vibe.”
Anyway, the lack of denial and clarification to that statement aside, in the next part when he’s talking to Terry, it is certainly a choice to have him say “But I’m with someone” and have Terry be the one to clarify and say “And you’re not gay”. And then have the silhouette panel (it’s the only silhouette panel almost as though they’re trying to visually represent half-truths) when Kyle says “No, I’m not” and still have Kyle tack on “And you’re sixteen. And, like I said, I’m with someone.” as though those are the real reasons.
Although, I mean I have to say this panel was sweet.
Bonus panels of Kyle being very very dense and literally the last to know about Terry’s crush even though he spends the most time with Terry. (Also defending his girlfriend when Tyler was being colorist (?) is a very nice touch.) ((Also also Kyle you’re undercutting yourself, that’s actually at least the 5th or 6th time she’s calling you stupid today.))
