Ron was beyond confused, not to mention worried. He ran into the bedroom where Harry and Hermione were sitting, reading their books, before pacing up and down with his hands in his messy ginger hair. “Shit, shit shit.”
Harry looked at Ron with a puzzled expression. “What’s wrong?” He asked.
Ron gulped, looking at his two friends with wide eyes. “I’ve lost Y/N.”
“What do you mean you’ve ‘lost Y/N’?” Hermione asked as she narrowed her eyes.
“Well,” Ron started, stroking the back of his neck with his hands. “She was outside with me, helping me put up the Christmas lights. I came inside to turn them on, you know, to see if they looked decent and when I went back she was gone!”
“Oh honestly Ronald, you had one job!” Hermione groaned, rolling her eyes.
“It’s not my fault!” Ron exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air. “I didn’t think she’d give me the slip! So… Neither of you have seen her?”
Harry and Hermione shook their heads before Harry spoke up, “are you sure she isn’t with Fred and George? She’s quite close to them.”
Ron’s eyes widened as he nodded. “Good idea! I’ll ask them!”
Ron then bolted out of the room as fast as he could, leaving Harry and Hermione sitting there shaking their heads and laughing. When Ron reached the twins room, he didn’t even bother knocking. He slammed the door open, breathing heavily. Fred and George looked at their brother, confusion lacing their faces. “What is it?” They asked simultaneously.
“Have you seen Y/N?” Ron asked, but the twins just shook their heads.
“No. We haven’t. Wasn’t she supposed to be helping you put up the Christmas decorations outside?” Fred asked, looking at George with a grin on his face.
Ron nodded. “Yeah. But she gave me the slip. I was hoping she’d be with you!”
“Nope,” George replied. “You must have bored her half to death.”
“Ha ha very funny,” Ron said as he rolled his eyes. “I’ll ask Percy.”
“Haven’t seen him leave his room. Doubt he would have seen her,” Fred pointed out. “Have you checked the farm? Maybe she went to see the animals.”
“She has to be there,” Ron nodded. “She couldn’t have just disappeared.” And with that, he ran off to check the livestock peppered around the outside of the Weasley home.
Meanwhile you were in Percy’s room. You were hovering above him, hand over his mouth to quieten down the moans and whimpers that were threatening to leave his lips as you rode him. Your hips moved expertly against his, but cautiously, ready to jump off if anybody was to interrupt the two of you. You had been dating Percy in secret for a few months now, and would always disappear to his room when nobody was looking. “‘M gonna cum,” Percy whimpered against your hand, his hips thrusting up to meet yours in a chaotic rhythm.
“Shh pretty boy,” you whispered quietly and Percy nodded as tears sprung to his eyes. The pleasure you were giving him was too much to handle. His arms flew to your waist, keeping you doing the same movements over and over again as he pulled you flush against his bare chest. The sudden movement caused your hand to fall from his mouth, but Percy was quick to smash his lips against yours, kissing you desperately. You swallowed his moans as he finally came, his hips stuttering as thick ropes of white coated your insides. Your hips slowed down to a halt as your lips glided across his effortlessly.
“Merlin,” Percy whispered against your lips before pulling away and gazing into your eyes. You shifted your weight and rolled off of him, laying down on your back and breathing deeply as you stared at the ceiling. You found yourself giggling quietly as you heard Ron’s voice carry throughout the house.
“She’s not there!” Ron cried as he ran through the halls, opening all the doors but Percy’s and peering into the rooms.
“I should go and relieve your brother from the torture of trying to find me,” you say looking at Percy with a grin.
He pouted, pulling your body close to his and pressing a tender kiss on your temple. “Do you have to go?”
“Y/N! Y/N where are you?” Ron’s voice echoed.
You looked at Percy and nodded. “I’ll be back, you can count on it.”
“I’ll hold you to that,” he smiled, watching as you stood up from the small bed and dressed yourself. “You’re so beautiful.”
You blushed at Percy’s words and straightened your hair, looking into the mirror to make sure you looked presentable. When you were satisfied with how you looked, you turned to Percy and grinned, bending down to kiss him on the lips softly. “I’ll see you later handsome,” you whispered against his lips.
“Not if I see you first,” he replied cheekily as you pulled away from his lips. You rolled your eyes playfully as you turned to leave Percy’s room. You checked both ways down the halls to make sure nobody was there, turning to give Percy one last smile before exiting his room. You quickly made your way to Harry and Hermione, trying to come up with an excuse as to where you had been in your head. When you entered the room, the two friends looked up at you with a smile on their faces.
“Y/N!” Hermione exclaimed, jumping up from her position and hugging you. “Where have you been?”
“I went to check on the chickens,” was all you could come up with. Harry raised an eyebrow at you, but didn’t say anything.
“Y/N? Is that you?” Ron asked, barrelling into the room with a grin on his face. “There you are! Bloody hell, I’ve been looking for you everywhere!”
“She was with the chickens,” Harry said, a smile on his face. Ron looked slightly confused, but thankfully didn’t question you any further. Instead, he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
“Fancy helping me with the rest of the decorations?” He grinned.
You nodded, excited that Christmas was just around the corner. “Of course!”
You followed Ron out of the room and down the hall, passing Percy on the way who was heading to the bathroom. He eyed you lovingly although his posture was stern. You didn’t know how much longer you’d be able to keep up your secret relationship, especially since you kept disappearing every time you went to the Weasley house to rendezvous with Percy. But for now, you were content. You sighed dreamily as you passed your lover in the hall, his hand skimming yours and quickly intertwining around your fingers before pulling away. A subtle gesture to let you know that he was thinking of you. Ron, who was completely oblivious to what had happened, continued walking to the loft to get more Christmas decorations down. You smiled at Percy before quickly following his younger brother, holding the ladder for him to climb up. When Ron finally re-emerged he was holding a container full of decorations, a wide grin on his face. “Here we are! I hope you’re not going to disappear again, we have a lot more to put up!”
You chuckled. “I’ll try my hardest not to.”
Ron narrowed his eyes, but quickly found the funny side of your joke, nodding along. “Well if you do, at least tell me where you’re going next time. I was worried!”
“I will do,” you said, knowing full well you would disappear again and not tell anyone where you were going. It was the norm now, and everyone just had to be okay with that.

The Great Upheaval of Percy Weasley: Avoidance
Percy Weasley x OC
Description: Percy Weasley has been avoiding her and that will certainly not do.
Tumblr media
Percy had been acting weird, not normal Percy weird, more like nervous schoolboy weird. And while Percy behaving strangely wouldn’t have worried Elle any other year, this year it was getting in her way. He was supposed to be her distraction, instead he was avoiding her. She was sure he couldn’t still be annoyed about her disappearing a few days ago. His kiss was enough to prove that. Yet, since then he hadn’t said a word, and ignored her invitations. She yanked her jumper over her head so hard it ripped. It was all she could do not to scream.
As she changed one black jumper to the next, she glanced out the window at the pouring rain. It was only one more thing to glare about. First Quidditch match of the year and she was going to be working in the rain, without warm lips to come back to.
“Hurry up, I want a good seat,” Dinah called.
“I’m coming, I’m coming,” Elle responded stepping out of the bathroom and grabbing her slicker.
“Wow, that’s some incredible house spirit,” Dinah said, noting her black jumper.
“I’m neutral.”
“Sure, until we win and then you drink like the rest of us.”
“Details, details.”
“Just make sure you take care of our team faster than theirs. I have a bet with Quinn, and I do not have the funds for a loss.” Elle rolled her eyes; this was the same conversation they had before every Quidditch match since Elle had started working for Madam Pomfrey in her fourth year.
“Do you want me to promise and lie, or just stay quiet.” Dinah only smacked her with her umbrella in response. “What’s the bet today?”
“Hufflepuff wins due to Gryffindor losing its seeker to an unforeseen injury.”
“You really have to stop betting on details and stick to just the winner.”
“Harry hasn’t been injured for ages.”
“Have you seen the weather; you could be injured in that storm.”
“It’s not that bad,” Dinah says as they pushed the door open, stepping into the torrent outside. The heavy oak pushed them back as the rain instantly soaked them.
“You were saying?” Elle yelled over the wind.
“Shut up,” Dinah yelled back, ducking her head as they marched towards the Quidditch pitch. They were halfway to the pitch when Elle realized she had left her wand sitting on the windowsill by her bed.
“Fuck, I forgot my wand,” she yelled.
“What?”
“I forgot my wand,” she yelled again, making a motion with her hand. “I’ll see you after the game.” Dinah waved her away as she continued her trek towards the pitch. Elle turned and ran back towards the castle, the wind pushing against her back all the way. She yanked open the doors and smacked right into the boy who had been avoiding her. His eyes widened and she accidentally glared.
“Elle-.”
“Move it Weasley, I’m on a deadline.”
“Wait-.”
“No, you’ll have to wait, I forgot my wand,” she growled pushing past him.
“Accio wand,” he announced, “Now, do you have a moment?” She whipped around. He’d been avoiding her, and now he had time to talk.
“Listen here, Percy Weasley, I don’t know who you think you are but-.” And then he was kissing her, right in the middle of the corridor, as if he didn’t give a damn about who came around the corner. She yanked herself away despite not wanting to.
“I’m sorry, they’ve got me following Potter. I haven’t been able to get away,” he said, catching her wand before handing it to her. She licked her teeth and glanced over her shoulder for anyone who might be watching, and then grabbed him by the tie kissing him again. When she pulled away, they were both grinning.
“Restricted section, after the game?” He kissed her again and she took that as a resounding yes. He pushed open the door for her and they both stepped back into the pouring rain that didn’t seem as cold as it did before.
When they reached the pitch, they waved their goodbyes and she slipped into the locker room, searching for Wood. She passed the girls changing and marched into the boy’s locker room.
“Wood!” she hollered, peaking around corners. She ran into the twins who both grinned but pointed her in the right direction without a suggestive comment from either, it seemed they remembered her threat from the last time they had crossed paths. “Wood.”
“Jesus Elle, you’re not supposed to be in here.”
“Oh shove it, I’m here to warn you.”
“About what?” he asked with a cocky grin and she slugged him in the arm.
“Listen, I know you like to take risks, don’t, not with the way it looks out there today.”
“Elle-.”
“Don’t argue with me. Just know there are two ways to fix broken bones, easy ways and hard ways, don’t make it the hard way.”
“You really know how write pep talk.”
“Shut up and win.” With that she walked out, noting Harry as she went and praying that Dinah would be winning money her bet today. She walked onto the pitch and winced at the spray of rain before finding Poppy in the medical tent.
“They shouldn’t be playing today,” the nurse fussed, and Elle nodded, glancing up at the sky.
“I couldn’t agree more.” She prepped everything they might need and sat at the edge of the tent, just out of reach of the rain. As she waited for the players to enter the arena she searched for Percy among the crowds. It wasn’t until Hufflepuff stepped out that she found his ginger curls whipping around in the wind, but she didn’t have long to stare before Madam Hooch tossed the quaffle into the air and the game began.
For being the worst weather she had ever seen, the first half of the game was without much injury. It seemed Wood had headed her warning (there was a first for everything). It wasn’t until the end of Katie Bell’s broom was struck with lightning that Elle was forced to make her way onto the field. She quickly put out the fire and checked the chaser over.
“All clear,” she yelled over the wind and then Katie was gone, back into the downpour the moment she was cleared. Elle returned to the tent only to run back out a few moments later as one of the Hufflepuff beaters was struck by lightning and came crashing down.
He wasn’t getting back on his broom anytime soon. She dragged him and his broom through the mud towards the tent and then levitated him onto a stretcher. She poured a thick white mixture into a cup and tipped it against his lips. Even through unconsciousness his nose scrunched at the smell, but she tipped his head back and poured it down his throat anyway. She was checking him over when she heard the gasps from outside.
She rushed into the rain just in time to see Harry hit the ground and Hufflepuff win the game. It seemed Quinn was going to be making her money today.
She dropped to her knees and checked for a pulse, shocked to find how cold he was. No bones seemed to be broken and he had only suffered from a few minor scrapes and bruises.
“Poppy,” she hollered over the rain, “Bring the stretcher.” She raised the boy onto the stretcher and glanced wearily around at the students watching her. She yanked her attention away from them and back to Harry. “We need to get him warm, but other that he should be fine. Someone stopped him from hitting the ground hard enough for it to cause any damage.” Poppy nodded as she levitated the stretcher towards the castle. Elle rushed back inside and waited for the rest of the teams to wander through for their checks.
No one seemed particularly cheerful as they wandered through her tent. Whether that was the loss or the dementors she couldn’t be sure, but from the gloomy looks on the Hufflepuff team’s faces she guessed the latter. Everyone seemed to be fine but she asked Katie to stop by the Hospital Wing for a quick check up, just to make sure, and then levitated the Hufflepuff boy back to the castle.
Both teams had beat her back, and the Hufflepuffs were waiting patiently for their teammate.
“He should be awake in a few minutes,” she assured them before finding Poppy. The nurse sent her away, assuring her that there was nothing more she could do. She checked just to make sure, but Poppy had no problem swatting her away from patients either. She grinned and turned, doing her best not to sprint out of the Hospital Wing and towards the Restricted Section. However, she was intercepted on her way by a pair of cold hands and warm lips.
“I thought we agreed the Restricted Section?”
“Too far,” he murmured against her lips, locking the door behind him before pushing her against it. “How long will he be in the Hospital Wing?”
“A couple more hours at least.”
“Perfect,” he said before pulling her close again. He was almost as famished as she was as he hoisted her up and set her on a desk. His hands slipped beneath her jumper and she jumped at the cold tips of his fingers. “Are you okay?”
“Your hands are just cold,” she laughed grabbing his hands in hers and blowing softy. She could feel him shiver against her breath. She glanced up to meet his eyes before dropping his hands to cup his face before kissing him again. Warmer hands dropped back to the hem of her jumper before finding her skin once more. This time, instead of jumping away, she leaned in closer, relishing the feeling of his fingers creeping along the dips of her stomach. He peeled off her jumper and goosebumps followed his touch to the band of her bra.
She tilted her head as his lips found her neck and tugged on his curls, still damp from the rain. She was vaguely aware of his fingers tracing the band around to the clasp. He fumbled with it before giving up and simply resting his hand beneath the fabric. His other hand found her thigh, pulling it up against his waist. The denim stretched against the apex of her thighs as he pulled her closer.
“Elle,” he whispered against her skin and she pushed him away only to pull his lips to hers.
“Never again Percy Weasley, you hear me?” she asked against his lips, but he only cocked his hand in confusion. He pulled his hands away, as if he had done something wrong, but she caught him before he could fully retreat. “Never again will you ditch me like that,” she said before kissing him again. She pulled away once more to study his face, “Do you understand me?”
“Crystal clear.”
Excellent,” she laughed, emphasizing her pleasure with a harsh kiss to his jaw. She traced her thumb over the spot where she had kissed him moments before.  “Excellent,” she repeated.
“You’re excellent, and trust me, if I’m stupid enough to disappear again I will cast the curse for you.” She grinned and wrapped her legs around his waist, yanking him closer. Tangling her fingers in his hair, she breathed him in, drowning in the euphoria of warm lips while thunder crashed around them.

𝐋𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐄, chapter one WEASLEY VS SLUGHORN
pairing: percy weasley x fem!oc (olympia slughorn)
word count: 1.04k
warnings: none
series masterlist
Tumblr media
percy weasley strived for validation of the academic kind, wanted to set himself apart from his ragtag group composed of five brothers and one sister that was designated to him at birth. he had no choice, each one of his siblings had something about them that set them apart from the rest.
ginny's was obvious since she was the only girl and the youngest, ron was somewhat friendly towards the muggle children who wandered into the fields surrounding the burrow every so often, which put him into his father's good books for learning about the 'fascinating' way that they live. fred and george had each other, like they were two peas unable to be prised out of their pod. charlie was sporty and had offers to go professional with his quidditch playing but turned it down for an even more rugged job handling dragons in eastern europe, bill was devil-may-care and living it large in an entirely different continent and was breaking curses in the last year of you-know-who's power.
everything that he, percy, was not.
where they were cool he was awkward, where they were popular he sunk into the shadows, and where they were doted upon he was given a book and a drink to keep quiet.
merlin, even ron seemed to be more favoured than him, and he was starting his first ever year of hogwarts with twin brothers who took the mickey out of him ( fred and george ), an even older brother who tried do disassociate himself from lower year riff-raff ( percy ), a legacy left behind by brothers who'd graduated to become great things, and no possessions that were originally his own.
the only things he had in his trunk that hadn't been passed down from brother to brother was his collection of homemade knitted jumpers, the pile of corned beef sandwiches he gagged simply at the sight of and the writing set he'd been given on his eleventh birthday by their great aunt tessie.
but, where percy lacked a brain of street smart tips and popular wizard culture, he made up for in ingenuity and drive to over achieve even if he fizzled out before his newt exams in three years time. and yet, percy still wasn't doing anything original or generically 'him' he realised when his prefects badge had landed in his bowl of porridge at the breakfast table one morning - bill had already been a prefect and then gone on to be head boy, charlie had smashed it out the park with his outstanding newt results too.
so he worked day and night, stalked the garden for muggle fireflies he could keep in a jar on his desk to observe for his summer task from the muggle studies teacher, poured himself over text book upon text book, any reading material he could get his hands on to put him in good standing for his owl year starting in september. percy snatched coloured pencils from ginny's desk draw when she was helping ron fling disorientated gnomes over the garden hedge to draw himself up a revision timetable, scheduled to start the first day back after the welcome feast.
he was going to pass his exams with flying colours, attend every single optional class and wrangle help out of his teachers if it was the last thing he did. even getting over himself to ask one of the students in the year above who was taking newt level potions to boost his grade up from an 'e' to a 'o'.
anything to see the look on olympia slughorn's face when the name 'percy weasley' was printed above hers in the top slot when the student rankings in each class was posted anonymously at the end of each month, like they had been since before his parents could remember.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
olympia slughorn was in a deeply committed one sided relationship with percy weasley - she hated him more than anything in the world and she wouldn't trust him as a confidante as far as she could launch him with a beaters bat. it wouldn't be too great of a distance compared to those who were on the slytherin quidditch team could hit, but she still had a good shot and that was enough for her.
he poked his nose into business it didn't belong, tried too hard to cosy up to his teachers by snitching on members of his class if a piece of homework was overdue, and constantly tried to ask her overly complex questions about origins of ingredients for her potions in effort to throw her off. it never worked, though. olympia had prevailed at the top of only one class in her entire four years at hogwarts thus far, and that was potions.
it ran though her blood, it was the one thing the slughorn's had in their legacy apart from her great uncle horace's self titled 'slug club' from his teaching days at hogwarts. he'd retired the year olympia was due to start attending the magical boarding school but still sent her various potion ingredients and recipes to create during the term time.
potions was the only subject she was predicted an 'o' in.
potions was the only thing she wanted to continue doing for the rest of her life.
there was no other option. percy weasley had to learn his place in the pecking order, and olympia knew just the way to ensure it.
she holed herself up in the small library room of the slughorn estate, significantly smaller in size compared to the lestrange manor that was dissed and had fallen into disrepair and the malfoy manor guarded with towering iron gates and white peacocks. there was seven floor to ceiling book cases in the library dedicated to potions, ingredients, poignant moments in wizarding history that advanced the world of potions, magical creatures host to rare ingredients that cost an arm and a leg to purchase.
olympia prized her validation just above thwarting anyone that was standing in her way, deliberate or not. she would snap her vintage muggle 'the beatles' records over the stone gargoyles over the front door of the house if the student rankings were posted and the name 'olympia slughorn' was printed below 'percy weasley'.

Closeted Harry coming out to Ron after his breakup with Ginny and Ron just being like, “cool just don’t date one of my brothers”
Fred and George freezing and looking at Harry with nothing but absolute delight at the potential mischief.
Harry making eye contact with them, immediately understanding their intentions, and winking as he puts a finger to his lips, shushing them.
Ron following Harry’s line of sight and screaming “NO. NO. FUCK NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”
Harry and the twins platonically flirting in the most obnoxious ways imaginable.
Harry showing up to breakfast in the Great Hall late with a different twins sweater on, looking debauched. One or even both the twins give him a salacious once over. Ron wants to sink into the floor and die.
Ron eventually gets used to this but absolutely loses it when the rest of his brothers send him their sweaters and flirt with him at the Burrow.
The Weasley boys sending flirty howlers to Harry just to send Ron spiraling.
Ron being so relieved when Harry dates literally anyone who isn’t one of his older brothers.

ron is a moral compass.
u cannot convince me that ron weasley isn’t a mother hen. because while hermione is a child prodigy, she’s breaking laws and committing war crimes half the time when it benefits her. and harry ‘i’m the Chosen One’ potter attracts danger like a flame would a moth.
so while they’re a duo of danger, there’s ron.
who grew up with siblings and spent a lot of his childhood making sure ginny didn’t get hurt playing in the mud.
who’s as nervous as Molly when Charlie works with the Dragons, and panics when Bill gets attacked by the werewolf.
who steals specific concoctions from the twins when they try to prank Percy because it could possibly harm him.
who wraps harry’s wounds when he gets hurt and is too tired to see madam pomphrey. who helps hermione understand why killing Rita in the jar wouldn’t help in the long run.
Ron Weasley, the worrier and moral compass of the Golden Trio. he doesn’t believe how many times he saved the wizardry world by simply being himself. and everyone at hogwarts but him can see it.

Sweet dance
Bill (William) - Percy - Fred - George - Ron Wealsey x Reader - Y/N
Summary: As a muggle-born, obviously you know about technology. Except your Weasley boyfriend doesn't, not at all actually. One day you arrive home with a radio, wanting to show it to him. You put on a disc playing romantic musics and invite him to dance.
Warning: None
Bill
He gently take your hand and take you dancing with him. You move at the rhythm of the music, making you turn as you dance together. The moment is loving and tender, sweet and full of love. He close the dance with a soft kiss, a hand on your cheek and the other on your hip. Bill gives you caresses and kisses, no words needed. You can see the look in his eyes, as you look at his face. Pure eyes of admiration and love saying "I'll love you forever and more".
Percy
You take his hand and try to pull him in the dance. "Come on!" You try to convince him, as you only get for answer "I have more important things to do than dancing". You still don't let him go, pulling him in. He sigh "If I give you one dance, you'll let me work?" He ask a bit annoyed. You nod and pull him again. He take you in his arms and make you dance, for once he's having fun. You dance for a minute, then two, three, four... you dance for at least 15 minutes before he even look at the clock and realise. "Oh... we've danced more than enough, now excuse me but I have things to do." You make a slight pout but accept it, giving him a kiss before letting him go. You drive him crazy in both ways, you know it.
Fred
He give a smile and look at you lovingly, he hold out his hand for you to take. "My lady" He speak with a half teasing and half sweet tone. You take his hand and start dancing together, you dance slowly at first and go faster and faster. He make you spin and lift you up, he kiss you, caress you and hold you. He end the dance with a hug and a kiss, his arms wrap around your waist as he lift you up. "I love you" He whisper.
George
He catch you from behind and pull you close. "My lady want to dance with me?" He say with an adorable chuckle. He too make you spin and lift you up. You dance together for a little while as the minutes pass. The dance end in a kiss, your arms wrapped around his neck. He caress your back, passing his hand under your shirt, just to tease you a bit. Not that he doesn't like doing it, he loves doing it actually. He kiss your neck and smile as he pull away. "Such a pretty lady, how lucky am I?"
Ron
"Come on, take my hand" You try to convince him. "No way, I don't like dancing." He answer, even tho you know he's just scared to step on your feet and embarrass himself in front of you. You take his hand and pull him, you make him dance with you. He step on your feet once or twice, or ten times... didn't bother to count. You end the dance with a wide smile, while he looks embarrassed to death. "Sorry... for stepping on your feet..  like ten thousands time... but it's your fault you pulled me in the dance!" He say with his face slightly red. You give him a smile then a kiss. "Don't worry, my feet are used to it now" He give a small smile. "You're gonna be the death of me." He say with a chuckle.

headcanon that Percy is the "good son/brother" for a reason; he's a menace if he wants to.
the twins, ron and ginny don't believe it until they see it.
bill and charlie has One Fear because they will have to deal with it. bill still have war flashbacks of how many times he needs to track down his little brother cause he's always missing five minutes before curfew
charlie hasn't forgotten the last time he told percy "no" and the little shit took that as a personal challenge and proceed to do whatever he wanted.
molly, surprisingly, doesn't believe it. she takes a look at percy, sees his gentle lil smile and is like "no, percy is a good boy! he's so well-mannered, he can never do anything wrong ever!"
arthur...oh, he knows his boy is a menace. percy is so incredibly clever, he always knows how to get out of trouble, but it doesn't stop him from running havoc. oh hell, he knows his boy can take down the whole ministry if he wanted to.
+arthur is the only one who can stop percy when he's feeling "rebellious". he isn't worried about his other six kids, he has seen worse with things with percy and he knows that percy can give him grey hair before the boy is twenty.
it's always the quiet ones, after all.

PLATONIC YANDERE WEASLEY FAMILY HEADCANONS
Tumblr media
They're very protective of each other, that's for sure. Molly might be the first one to meet you, or the Weasley children at Hogwarts. Heck, you might not even be related to the Weasleys and they'll still think of you as one of their own when they see the chance to make you theirs for good, you're just too naive and innocent for this world. And no doubt Harry and Hermione would play roles in helping them with their obsession with you as well since they are yanderes for you after all
Arthur would LOVE to talk to you about your knowledge of Muggles if you know about them that is. But don't worry, there are still plenty of other things he'd LOVE to talk to you about. It's actually kind of nice and adorable seeing him get so excited whenever you bring up the topic of Muggles, the way his eyes shine and light up with excitement like as if he's some sort of kid in a toy shop. But Molly has to be there to rein him in in case he makes you feel too overwhelmed with his questions. Arthur doesn't care if you're pure blood, related to them or not, half blood, muggle or heck even if your dad is Voldy himself. Unless of course, you're good. He'll still look after you like his own and care for you, and of course, keep you far far away from the prying eyes of the evil Malfoys and dangerous things like Death Eaters and concerning yourself with the activities of the Dark Lord
Bill is the chill and easy going brother who'll understand how you're feeling since he's a pro at it and he's also the oldest Weasley, he's the brother to 6 siblings of his. He's a good listener and always has good advice for you whenever you need to ask him about something and he'll also love it if you talk to him about his work and stuff. And he'll also tell Fred and George to lay back off a bit if their pranks become too much to which they'll apologize instantly. They would never think of hurting you, not even in their worst nightmares. And if you were brought into their family by force, he'll know how you're feeling and he'll make sure to always be there for you no matter what. Oh, and no dating, NONE of the Weasleys would ever allow you to date someone at all. Nope, you're their precious little baby and they don't want some riff raff tainting your innocence
Molly is a really coddling and protective yandere for you. She'll always make you nice hot lunches and meals when you need them, she'll always give you the comfort and love you need from a mother and of course, she'll get jealous when you talk about your past family. You just can't seem to hate her no matter what since she's being so nice to you, hating her would literally be a crime. She looks after you so well and that's actually part of a plan she has in mind. Oh, yeah, she's crafty too. She wants to win over your love and affection by doing these sweet things and all that, but she does truly genuinely care for you. And if you ever mention the name of someone you like, I seriously pray for that poor schmuck, be it boy or girl since I believe in gender equality lol
Charlie loves you as well and he's the adorable nerd, who'll like talking to you about dragons and stuff. Like Bill he's also laid back and easy going, and trying to make you feel more comfortable with the family. He'll tell you funny stories from his time in Romania, some of the hilarious things his brothers and sisters have done, their embarrassing stories and stuff that'll be sure to have a smile on your face. He would literally cry if you wanted to enter his field, he'd be so freaking happy and pleased, no doubt he'd actually say "IN YOUR FACE!" to the rest lol
Percy Weasley is the uptight stick in the mud, the spoilsport and sometimes the killjoy but he truly does want what's best for you despite him being arrogant and pompous. He tries to be a good example for people and his family but it's frustrating when no one follows him or even strives to be like him. He'll try to get you under his wing before the twins try corrupting you. He'll help you with your homework, ask you how your day is going and if anyone's bothering you, he'll teach them a lesson. He knows he isn't supposed to use his status as Headboy for personal reasons but he won't tolerate it if someone decided to make his sibling feel bad about something. And if you guys are at Hogwarts, he'll make his duty to check in on you every single freaking day and act like some sort of pompous watchdog for you
The fun loving Weasley twins, who love pranking you and the others, but will never go too far with their pranks for you since they would never want to see you cry. They're the best to come to when you're having a bad day or when you feel like crying. In which case they'll cheer you up by some of their pranks and make you laugh since they can't stand to see you cry and be sad. And as for the person whoever made the mistake of making you sad... they'll be on the wrong end of their pranks and NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE wants to be on the wrong end of their pranks, trust me on this. And they'll even take your opinion for their products at their joke shop Weasley's Wizard's Wheezes, and go as far as naming something after you and giving you some of their stuff for free, low prices or discounts ESPECIALLY for you. Lol, they'd just rub it in Ron's face and he'd so freaking jealous
Ron would be the really overprotective type for you. Normally the Weasleys are just over protective of you but he's INSANELY over protective. And it's mentioned in canon too that he's really protective over Ginny when she starts dating Terry Boot, Dean and Harry. And if you think he's bad there, he's WAY worse when you're concerned since the way he sees it is NO ONE is worthy of being your s/o, you're the baby of the family and he will NOT allow someone to ruin you. He'll love to talk about Quidditch with you and maybe even show off some of his flying skills to you, to impress you. And he will not think twice to defend you if some prat like Malfoy decides to be a prick to you, and what'll make his blood boil even more is if Malfoy decides to take an interest in you. In which case the entire Gryffindor house would have to get involved in trying to hold him, the Weasley twins and Percy from literally punching the hell out of him. And of course, with the help of his trust y friends Harry and Hermione they follow you with the Marauder's map and keep tabs on what you're doing just for your safety of course
And last but not the least, Ginny, the youngest of the family but knows how to get something when she wants it. And that includes your attention. She's kinda crafty and demands for your attention regularly. And she will snatch you up like some feather if you're spending time with someone else, except for Molly of course. NO ONE has the guts to dare to go against Molly lol. And of course, she'll introduce you to Luna and even Luna would turn out to be very protective over you. For someone who looks so innocent and calm like her, she does know how to get rid of people who bother you and make you sad. There's always someone watching you no matter what, be it a Weasley, a Granger, a Potter, or a Lovegood... they're all there for you and they're at the back of you, scaring people off who they don't like seeing close to you since all they want is the best for you, that's all. They might not have much, but they have family and it's home...

Christmas Gifts
Percy Weasley x Reader
Tumblr media
Percy Weasley was known to be reserved, even around his family members. So, when the twins let it slip to Molly that he had a significant other, she was ecstatic. Immediately, she sent an owl to you, asking if you would come over for the upcoming winter break.
It was Ginny's idea to make your guest appearance a surprise for Percy, which you were on board for. Of course, it was a little nerve-wracking to be meeting the rest of Percy's family, especially without him there. However, you decided that none of them could be as shocking as when you met the twins one night while roaming the halls with Percy.
He was on Prefect duty, but you didn't care; you both had insomnia anyway. Plus, the late hours of the night were some of Hogwarts' quietest, and you wanted to cherish it.
That being said, the excitement radiating off Molly Weasley when you got to the Burrow was a force to be reckoned with. She was absolutely thrilled that her sophisticated son had found someone all on his own.
Wrapping you in a tight hug, she welcomed you inside the home and introduced you to Ginny. The little girl was shy, but you could see the mischief glimmering behind her eyes at the thought of the shocked look on Percy's face when he got home.
Admittedly, it was challenging to sneak around Percy's keen senses that he had developed from being the victim of many pranks and through his job as Prefect.
"Do you think we've pulled it off?" You asked after you stuck your things in the appropriate siblings' room.
"He's a smart one, but I don't think he'll be expecting this. My, he doesn't even know that the twins told us about you." Molly responded.
In the corner of your eye, you saw knitting needles clicking together as they wove the strands of yarn. You were an avid knitter/crocheter as well, but you preferred to do it by hand. Nonetheless, the magic flowing through the needles and into the yarn was fascinating.
Molly noticed your interest and started a conversation about the hobby while preparing dinner with Ginny. You offered to help by setting the table and adding extra plates for Harry, Hermione, and yourself.
"I actually brought handmade gifts for everyone," you mention, "I wasn't sure what to make, but I hope you all like them."
"Oh, that is wonderful, dear!" Molly cheered and you could see the wheels turning in Ginny's head on what her present might be.
Soon enough, it was time for the main event. The clock had switched, and everyone's name was now at the Burrow. You rushed to the bathroom seconds before the door flung open and a sea of red hair flooded the entryway.
You pressed your ear against the door, listening as everyone greeted Molly and Ginny. Quickly, Molly ushered everyone upstairs to put down their things so dinner could begin.
"Okay, dear, when you hear the knitting needles stop, you'll know it's time to come out." Molly whispered near the bathroom door before rushing back into the kitchen.
Once again, you heard a stampede of footsteps make their way past the entryway and into the dining area.
"Mum, you set out an extra plate ... and there's an extra chair." Percy observed as he sat down next to an empty spot.
At that exact moment you heard the clicking of needles cease and you had to take a breath before opening the door.
"I suppose that means I'll be sitting there." You say, walking into the room.
Percy chokes on air the second he hears your voice. Ginny's smile is bursting at the seams, the twins are holding in their laughs, Molly is almost vibrating with excitement, and the rest are simply watching the scene unfold with smiles.
"Y/n!" He yells before clearing his throat, "what ... what are you doing here?"
"I was invited, I hope that's alright." You say shyly, moving a little closer to the table.
"Of course it's alright," Percy exclaims, "but how did this happen?"
Once the words leave his mouth something clicks in his brain, and he whips his gaze over to the twins. Immediately, they lose control and begin cackling at the look on their brother's face.
"It was my idea to surprise you!" Ginny comments with a smile.
Percy instantly softens once he sees everyone giving him warm looks and the tears in his mother's eyes.
"Well, consider me surprised."
He turns back to you and stands, taking your hand and leading you to the seat next to his.
"This is only the beginning of the wonderful Christmas we're going to have." You whisper to him, folding your fingers through his.
"I don't think anything could ever top this." He says before kissing the top of your hand.
Just wait until he sees his other gift.
A/N: Ohhhh my gosh, it has been so long since I have been on Tumblr and this account, and it's crazy. But here we are with my man Percy Weasley; he is a little bit of a douche sometimes, but I'm in my "I can fix him" phase lol.

It had been a few weeks since your last rendezvous with Percy. Christmas and New Year had come and gone, so you were finally ready to start getting life back to ‘normal’ and of course that meant sneaking around with your lover once again. The Weasley’s were on a day-trip, to where you weren’t sure, but Percy didn’t go with them. He claimed he was sick just so you could swing round and pay him a visit undisturbed. So that’s what you did. You made your way to the Weasley home and let yourself in to find Percy straightening up the place. “There you are,” you smiled widely. You opened your arms and walked over to Percy, enveloping him in a tight embrace. “What are you doing?”
“Straightening up for mum so she doesn’t have to do it when she gets home,” Percy replied as he pulled away from you and placed some neatly folded blankets on the sofa. You found yourself still smiling and nodded at him in response.
“How long is it going to take?” You asked, trying not to sound too desperate for him straight away.
“Well, I just need to put these blankets in mum and dads room and then I’m all yours,” he winked. You felt a familiar ache settle between your legs at the sound of his smooth voice and a shiver ran up your spine. He walked past you and up the stairs to Molly and Arthur’s room with you following close behind. He set the blankets gently on the bed before turning to you with a wide grin. Percy then grabbed your hand and walked, quickly, to his bedroom. Neither of you bothered to close the door, too preoccupied with taking the other’s clothes off until they were nothing but a scrambled pile on the floor as you both lay on his bed completely naked. “Gods I’ve missed you,” Percy mumbled as he pressed his lips against yours feverishly. You could only respond with a grunt as he wouldn’t let you pull away, his tongue invading your mouth and tasting you. You could tell from his sheer eagerness that he had missed you.
Percy trailed a hand down your exposed body until he reached between your legs, slicking his index finger up your folds and gathering your wetness on his fingertips. Then he brought those same fingers to his lips, tasting the sweetness of your juices on his tongue. A moan escaped him and you saw his hardened cock twitch between his legs as his tongue lapped around his digits. “Percy,” you whined, thrusting your hips against his in a futile attempt to convince him to fuck you already. “Please.”
Percy shook his head and removed his fingers from his lips before placing them back at your entrance. “It’s been a few weeks,” came his response. “We need to get you good and ready before we make love.”
You let out a shaky sigh and nod as he pushes a single finger into you. Moaning, you grasp at the sheets below you as Percy begins to slowly move his finger in and out of you. His pace was agonisingly slow but you revelled in the feeling. Shortly after a few thrusts, he inserted a second finger and kissed down your neck. “Oh Gods,” you moaned out, throwing your head back.
“You’re so tight,” Percy mumbled as he continued to move his fingers in and out of your sopping cunt slightly faster now. He scissored his fingers just right to stretch you in the way he needed to as he bit down at the soft flesh covering your neck. “That’s right baby, let go,” he whispered, thumb grazing your clit. You gasped upon the contact and Percy began to rub your clit slowly, pushing you to your first orgasm. Your entire body tensed up as your climax washed over you, your hands gripping the sheets tighter as moan after moan left your lips. It felt good to not be so quiet and just let loose the sounds you needed to make. When your orgasm finished, Percy retracted his fingers and pressed them against your lower lip. “Suck,” he commanded.
You nodded and did as he said, tongue sticking out and darting around his fingers licking away your spend. Percy groaned at the sight, an almost animalistic growl erupting from his throat. “Will you fuck me now?” You said, your voice practically begging.
Percy smiled sweetly at you and nodded, “since you were a good girl, I’ll do anything you ask.”
He positioned himself on top of you, pushing you down completely onto the bed. Your hands had already let go of the sheets below and wrapped themselves around Percy’s neck, pulling him as physically close to you as possible. The tip of his cock penetrated your entrance, and even with two fingers to stretch you it was still a slight struggle to fit him all the way in immediately. Percy pushed into you slowly, kissing your cheek and whispering words of praises into your ear. “Oh,” you gasped, as he fully bottomed out inside of you. He found himself grinning from ear to ear as he allowed you to adjust fully to his length before he began to move. His pace started off slow, but built up within a matter of seconds, his face holding all the concentration he had to not blow his load into you right away. Your nails dug into his back causing Percy to gasp at the pained sensation, but continued his pace against you. He was relentless in giving you pleasure. The headboard began to bang against the wall as a result of his forceful thrusts, only adding to your already dripping arousal. “Percy! You’ll break the bed,” you squealed, a slight giggle leaving your lips.
“Don’t care,” he mumbled against your neck, his lips making their way to yours to kiss you passionately. He swallowed your moans eagerly.
You were both so in the moment that you hadn’t heard the Weasley’s enter the home or the twins come running up the stairs. “Holy shit!” Came the twins' voices simultaneously. Percy stopped his movements and pulled out of you almost immediately, grabbing the nearest piece of fabric he could find to cover your body away from his brother's view.
“What is it?” Came Ron’s voice from down the stairs.
“You gotta come and see this!” Fred shouted back.
Both yours and Percy’s eyes were wide, like deers caught in headlights as you both shook your heads. But it was too late. Ron was already running up the stairs, peering his head around Percy’s room to see you and his brother engaged in the most intimate of positions. Ron went pale, paler than he already was as his mouth hung open wide at the sight. “Oh my God,” Ron whispered.
“Ron-” you started.
“Nope. Nope. I’m out,” he said, throwing his hands up defensively as he turned to walk away.
The twins stood there still, shit eating grins on their faces. “So…” George sang. “How long has this been going on?”
You couldn’t answer. You found yourself stuttering nonsense as you tried to wrap your head around the fact that the twins had just walked in on you and Percy mid-fuck. “A while,” came Percy’s reply.
“So when you were putting the Christmas decorations up with Ron and you disappeared, you were-“
“Yes.”
“And you were-“
“Yes.”
“That makes so much sense,” Fred nodded.
“I knew it,” George said smugly.
Fred shoved him in the chest and scoffed. “No you did not.”
“Well I knew Percy was seeing someone!” George exclaimed.
“How on earth did you know that?” Percy asked furrowing his eyebrows.
George and Fred shrugged together. “You weren’t as grumpy anymore. Thought you had to be getting it from somewhere.”
Percy blushed a deep shade of red before grabbing a pillow and throwing it at his brothers, hitting them square in the face. “Alright alright we’ll leave!” Fred shouted, throwing the pillow back. “Next time, close the damn door.”
Fred and George left the room, closing the door behind them. Percy looked at you apologetically, laying down next to you on the bed and staring at the ceiling. “Sorry,” he mumbled, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
You were still speechless, but managed to stutter out a quick, “why?”
“For my brothers.”
“I’ve known Fred and George long enough. Besides, we should have closed the door behind us,” you said with a shrug, finally recovering from the utter embarrassment you were feeling.
“Mhm,” Percy hummed. His hand began to stroke circular patterns on your forearm in a soothing manner. He held you close to his body and smiled as he pressed a chaste kiss to your forehead. “Next time, we’ll close the door.”
“At least we don’t have to sneak around anymore,” you mumbled, burying your head into his chest. “We can be together openly now. See each other more.”
“I’d love that,” Percy said, smiling widely.
You smiled back at him and kissed him softly before pulling away and looking back at the door. “The door is closed now… how about we finish where we left off?” You said, a cheeky grin on your face. Percy raised an eyebrow before climbing back on top of you. That night was certainly a night to remember, for the both of you. Not to mention, the Weasley’s didn’t get any sleep.

The Great Upheaval of Percy Weasley: Horror
Percy Weasley X OC
Summary: Not all Halloween horrors require a mask.
Warnings: fluff, angst
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
horror -n- the thought of you missing
***
It was Halloween and it seemed everyone they knew was at Hogsmeade. Everyone except for them of course. While even Percy enjoyed the occasionally butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, having Elle in his lap, legs wrapped around his waist as she kissed his neck made him drunker than even the strongest fire whiskey.
And she was wearing black lingerie.
Of course, they had studied at first, for five hours they did nothing but work, but the moment she got bored she feigned heat was getting to her and her shirt came off. That was the end of studying, not that Percy would have been able to focus anyway. Now his mind was practically liquid. That however did not stop him from worrying.
“Elle?”
“Yeah?” she asked, lips still pressed to her neck.
“You didn’t want to go to Hogsmeade?” God, he really couldn’t just enjoy anything could he?
“Nah, until The Weird Sisters or Green Day start playing in the square it’s not really my scene.”
“Green Day?”
“Muggle band, don’t worry about it. Why? Am I boring you?” Grand, now he had offended her.
“No, no of course not. I just-.”
“I’m kidding,” she laughed before kissing him softly. She pulled away and he tucked a piece of hair that had fallen from her braid behind her ear. She shifted in his lap, avoiding his eyes as he did so.
“Why braids?” She paused before answering, and Percy was sure she was considering whether to tell him to mind his own business or answer truthfully.
“Mostly because my mother doesn’t like them.” She had gone with the truth.
“And the rest?”
“Because I like doing them. It’s meditative.” Percy snorted; she didn’t seem like the type to even consider meditation. She quirked an eyebrow. “Don’t believe me.”
“I just can’t imagine you meditating.”
“Not that type of meditating, you dolt. Here, you try.” She began unbraiding her hair, pulling the elastics onto his wrist.
“I don’t know how to braid hair,” he stuttered, and she rolled her eyes.
“I figured. Don’t worry, I’ll show you.” She finished pulling out her hair on one side and the turned nimble fingers towards the other. When she was done, he couldn’t stop staring. Her hair was longer than he had once thought, falling almost to the end of her back and the crimped waves made her look almost ethereal. The small fly-aways were her halo, highlighted by the light of the setting sun as it came through the stain glass windows. It was strange how different someone could look based solely on their hair, but Elle was a completely different person. She turned around as she slid off his lap and onto her knees. He swallowed again, doing his best not to think about it. “I’ll do the first side and you watch, and then you’ll do the other okay?” He didn’t fully trust himself to speak, so he simply nodded, completely forgetting she couldn’t see him.
He watched with unadulterated fascination as her fingers pulled hair around itself, twisting and folding tight braids against her scalp and then all the way down her back. He wished she would leave it down, but when she finished, he allowed her hands to guide his, nonetheless. It took him a couple tires to get the pattern right, but when he finished, as she ran her fingers down his work he couldn’t help but feel her appreciation.
“I’m impressed,” she teased, turning around and resting her chin on his knee. He swallowed again, the position had only gotten worse for his concentration.
“Didn’t think I could?” he managed to ask and she laughed.
“I didn’t. Last man to do my hair was my father and the snarls were awful.”
“I like to think I’m better with my hands than your father,” he said, instantly regretting it when she burst out laughing, disgust curling her lip.
“Oh gross! Please, I beg you, don’t compare yourself to my dad.” Percy could feel blush warming his cheeks as she continued to laugh. He would have defended himself, or apologized, or anything to assuage his mistake had a scream not echoed from the hallway. Her laughter died and he jumped up quickly, pulling on his robe.
“I have to go; it might be nothing…”
“But it also might be something.” Percy nodded sullenly, stalking towards the door.
“Go be a hero, Head Boy.” She yanked him down by his tie to kiss him once more before waving him a goodbye.
He grinned and found himself unable to stop until he reached the crowds that had gathered around the Gryffindor portrait. That was when it seemed like he wouldn’t be smiling for the rest of the day.
“I am Head Boy, let me through,” he yelled over the crowd, shoving through layers of younger students. It this was merely impatience he was going to have a fit. First, screaming over nothing and then the audacity of the Fat Lady, it was enough to make even the most levelheaded explode. But when he reached the top and found the three jagged slashes through the portrait he was instantly on high alert. He could hear Dumbledore pushing through crowd as he had, and he did is best to get them to move, but then he was being trampled as someone called, having found the Fat Lady. He pressed himself against the wall as tightly as he could. He took elbows to the stomach and heavy shoes to feet as they all rushed to find their beloved portrait. He tried to join the rush but kept getting shoved back against the wall. He scowled and shoved them to the side, trampling first years as he went. The rumors flew back through the herd and when he finally caught up to Dumbledore he realized they were all true. She was hiding in a field of cows, screaming about Sirius Black in the castle. His eyes widened and he would have run to find Elle in that very moment had Dumbledore not grabbed his arm.
“Mr. Weasley, I would like you to find Professor Lupin and instruct him to find Mr. Potter and then assist in escorting the students down to the Great Hall. They will sleep there tonight.”
“Yes, Professor.” And then he turned, pushing back through the mob. He made his way towards the classroom where he regularly got destroyed. He threw open the door and found Lupin already talking to the boy he was supposed to be watching.
“Percy,” the professor said surprised and Percy quickly straightened his appearance.
“May I speak to you, Professor?” With a brisk nod, Lupin joined him in the hallway. He filled him in quickly, talking as fast as could. He answered all his questions, anxiously waiting for the moment when he would finally send him away. When he did, Percy had never run faster. He grabbed students who still dared to wander the hallways and hurried them towards the Great Hall.
And that’s all he did for the next five hours.
By the time bells were declaring midnight, Percy wanted nothing more than to crash. He had herded third years, stolen points from seventh years who felt above the rules, and assuaged fears of everyone in between. The doors of the Great Hall were shut and locked. He was dreaming of his bed as he half listened to Dumbledore give instructions. He might have fallen asleep while standing up if a scream didn’t echo around the mostly silent hall. He turned to the Gryffindor corner while Dinah was fighting against the hold of Professor Snape.
Students were sitting up from their beds to watch the excitement.
“Go back to bed,” Percy ordered as he walked towards the commotion. He pulled Dinah away from Snape who looked ready to curse her into submission if someone didn’t remove her immediately.
“Dinah-.”
“No, you listen here, Percy Weasley. You and then entire Ministry of Magic can’t stop me, my best friend is out there with a serial killer,” she yelled and Percy froze, he had forgotten about Elle. Dinah almost slipped out of his grasp, but he pulled her back.
“Dinah, you need to stay here.”
“Oh fuck off, I’m going and-.”
“I’m going to go find her, but I need you to stay here.” Dinah eyed him suspiciously before relaxing. He waited a moment, just to make sure she wasn’t going to run, before releasing her. “Now please, go back to bed.” She took a step back, blue eyes never leaving him. “I promise, I’ll find her.”
“If she’s dead, I’ll kill you Weasley,” she snapped and as Percy marched past curious students and nervous professors, he prayed she wasn’t dead, and not only for his sake.
The castle was completely empty, his footsteps echoing against the stone walls. He wanted to be quiet, the thought of being caught by the murderer sending him spiraling. He checked the classroom where he had left her, the astronomy tower, and every classroom in between. Now he was standing in the library, hollering her name now that Madam Pince wasn’t here to scold him. He was about ready to go and fall under Dinah’s knife when his eyes turned to the restricted section.
He pushed open the gate and walked down the dark aisles until he arrived at the end, where the only table in the restricted section resided. And there she was, sleeping on a book. He let out a breath and fell to his knees beside her. He placed a hand on her shoulder and shook her awake. She glanced up; the edge of the book pressed into her cheek.
“Oh hi,” she said sleepily, a yawn stretching across her face.
“Oh hi? Oh hi? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” he yelled, and she jumped, anger replacing shock as quickly as it had come.
“Last time I checked; I don’t answer to you.”
“Elle-.”
“No, just cause I’m snogging you doesn’t mean that I have answer your every beck and call.”
“Elle-.”
“Stop interrupting, I-.”
“Sirius Black is in the castle.”
“I- wait what?”
“That’s what the screams were about. Sirius Black attacked the Fat Lady. Everyone is in the Great Hall, except you. Dinah was freaking out and I came to find you. That’s why I’ve been searching for you,” he rushed out. He waited for backlash, but the only thing that came was her lips against his. He pulled her closer and he realized, sleep wasn’t really what he needed at all. He relaxed into her hold, pulling her down to the floor.
“Thank you,” she whispered. He nodded, kissing her again, relishing in the feeling of his muscles relaxing at her touch. “I’d give you a proper thank you, but I think you said there’s a murderer in the castle.”
“Of course,” he whispered breathlessly, cursing every word that came out of his mouth. When she was kissing him, he almost didn’t give a damn about Head Boy, or Sirius Black, or anything in between. She helped him up, throwing her bag over her shoulder and leading him out of the library. He was itching to touch her, but he kept his hands by his side, sparing a touch only as he ushered her through the door. She leaned into his hand before pulling away towards the Gryffindor corner, meeting Dinah halfway. He watched as Dinah hugged her and wished he could do the same. Thirty minutes ago, he had been sure she was dead and now he had to give her back up to the masses. He wished he had been able to convince her to stay hidden a bit longer.
He shook his head, that was dangerous thought, one that implied real care, one that study buddies and snog sessions didn’t allow. She glanced over her shoulder as Dinah dragged her away, mouthing one final ‘thank you’. He awkwardly raised his hand before returning to the Professors.
“I’m glad you were able to find Ms. Wilton,” McGonagall whispered, and his eyes shot to hers, nervous that she knew, nervous that everyone knew.
“Uh, yes, me too.” She turned away and Percy breathed deeply before allowing his eyes to wander back Elle and Dinah. They were whispering to one another, sharing a bed mat as they spoke. He turned away before anyone noticed and followed McGonagall towards the rest of the professors, ignoring all instinct to return his gaze and pushing away all dangerous thoughts

𝐋𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐄, chapter two GENTLE TIES
pairing: percy weasley x fem!oc (olympia slughorn)
word count: 1.67k
warnings: none
series masterlist OR previous part
Tumblr media
percy weasley hated the yearly chaos of platform nine and three quarters, more-so when he had an owl perched on the end of his scratch-littered trunk. he wormed his way through families saying goodbye until christmas, found a relatively quiet area of the platform to haul his possessions onto the train before hopping off again, setting off in earnest to find the rest of his family he'd momentarily left behind.
they were all clustered around each-other in a group, heads leant close together as they spoke about the boy, harry potter, they'd helped get onto the platform. ginny was hanging off her mother's arm asking to go and see him, percy had to make a hurried grab for the back of her purple cardigan to stop her from leaping onto the train to get a glimpse of the famous boy.
"thank you, percy." she said to him, wished him a good term and congratulated him once more on becoming a prefect. he held his head high as he walked away back to the carriage he'd stowed his trunk, drowning out the complaining of his sister, the nagging of his mother, fred and george conspiring about blowing up toilet seats and ron trying to wriggle away from a tissue heading directly for a smudge of soot from the train that had glued itself to his nose.
there was a first year a few groups of people away with frizzy hair, chatting at her parents about everything she was going to learn, hoped that the few spells she'd taught herself would suffice for her first few lessons regarding what she assumed to be about the basics, told them she had a smaller, separate bag she'd folded her new uniform into the change into at the first availability. percy smiled fondly. he remembered doing the exact same thing, the three spells he'd tried not working exactly as he'd intended because he was stuck with using bill's old wand.
progressing further along the platform was lee jordan, sandwiched between fred and george who'd materialised out of nowhere, oliver wood waving enthusiastically at him and holding up his brand new sparkling quidditch captain badge, the malfoy family who sneered at percy as he bypassed them completely to get to the end of the train where he'd left his trunk. he could see a battered corner of his trunk through the windows of the train, and percy pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose after bumping shoulders with another girl stalking past him.
hands tucked into the deep pockets of his corduroy trousers and brown shoes glinting in the bright sunlight, he hopped up onto the train to take his robes out of the top of his trunk and carefully removed his prefects badge from the beige wool of his jumper. the silk of his tie ran smoothly through his fingers as he dropped it accidentally, not noticing it on the floor by his feet as he stood up to move further down the train.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
olympia slughorn glared up at her great uncle in distain as they walked out of the kings cross underground station, sweat glistening on her forehead and trunk hefted behind her up the stairs. "why would you have ever wanted to travel with the masses on a scale such as that?" she questioned him as they beelined through daily commuters on the muggle platforms, lunging head first into the ticket machine on the wall of platform nine and three quarters when the surroundings were clear enough.
"my old students often spoke of the 'tube'," around this he made an awkward pair of air quotes with his fingers, "and i decided it was high time i tried it for myself. although," horace ran a finger against the collar of his shirt in effort to get some cool air to the skin of his neck at olympia's ever persistent stare, "it could do with some improvement."
"yeah. a whole lot of it."
with a half-hearted, upwards quirk of his lips, horace slughorn produced his wand from the pocket of his tweed jacket he'd transfigured back to his robes after their foray into muggle london, and levitated the trunk into storage on the train. another flick, and olympia's own coat had turned into her school robes, complete with a green prefect badge and hour-glass shaped tie pin. "i think i'll be apparating home." he said, patted her on the shoulder from a distance only to be brought closer as olympia's arms tentatively encircled his body, resting her cheek on the harsh fibres of his waistcoat lightly.
once she drew away, smiled up at his and nodded, olympia backed away as the whistle of the train pierced though the chatter on the platform and parents or guardians began to bundle their children onto any available space on the train as fast as they could. she'd barely made it onto the carriage herself when a porter came along to check the doors were all firmly shut, waving bright green sparks from their wands as the train began to pull away from the platform. olympia slid open the window of the door she was peering out of, yelled "wish me luck!" at her great uncle before watching him disappear with a wave and a call of "good luck" back to her.
content. for once, on the first of september, she was content.
"oi oi, sluggy."
she sighed, felt a smile work its way onto her face at the bright, northern accent of terrence higgs. he grinned loudly, barged through the crowd of students keeping the pair apart with his large arms, muscular body attaching to her in greeting. "terry!" she greeted back, south meeting north. the pair split at the voices of adrian pucey and marcus flint announcing their presence, the lithe body of cleo zambini poking out of a compartment she was refusing to relent to others. she waved them over frantically, and the four slytherins gathered in the thin corridor trooped over to her.
olympia caught a flash of maroon and gold out of the corner of her eye, picked up the offendor from where it had caught below a pile of trunks as high as the roof of the train carriage. it was a gryffindor's, no doubt about it. but who it belonged to was the question . . . ah. in the glow of the lamps she could see pin-prick sized holes over the stripes, the creaseless material a dead give away.
she put it in her pocket, checked over her shoulder that he wasn't coming marching down the corridor in search for it.
olympia crossed the threshold of the compartment and was just about to sit down when she was hauled up again by the dips in her elbows by higgs. "what are you doing?" she questioned, rubbing the patch of skin on her arm once he'd let go. terrence only stared back, already exhausted, slapped his hands to his face. "you, me, prefects meeting."
"oh, right. yeah. i forgot about that, we should probably get going."
cleo laughed. "see you two later."
the new pair of prefects stepped out of the compartment and into the corridor of the train, where there was a significantly smaller stream of people passing by them in either direction. they made to walk towards the end of the train, not far from where the rest of their friends were sat. terrence broached a question as they gained distance on penelope clearwater and brendan truman, ravenclaw prefects, who were both in olympia's transfiguration class. "you didn't seem too consistent with answering my letters over the summer."
"i was busy." they bypassed truman, thanked him for keeping the door held open for her and terrence and they sat down in the two nearest chairs. the door was just about to shut again when two new people walked in, one of them being percy weasley, who was patting down the pockets of his robes and looking around him in earnest for something around his ankles.
olympia traced the shape of his tie still in her pocket and smirked.
next to her was the only available seat, and she spoke under her breath to terrence as gordon macmillan and the head girl annabelle crosley ( who happened to be his girlfriend ) told them of their duties as newly appointed, or current, prefects. "i wasn't lending much time to things that weren't ingredients or cauldrons."
terrence nodded in understanding, and eyed weasley sat near him. "why are you worried? you've been top of the student rankings for the past four years. weasley hasn't got anything on you."
"i'm not taking any chances." she muttered back, exaggerating as she turned her head to the right and gasped loudly. "where's your tie, weasley? that's hardly a good impression, is it?" everyone in the carriage turned to look at percy, sure enough not wearing a tie around his neck. penny clearwater looked as if she was trying her hardest not to laugh, wanting to stay on his good side in hopes he would continue to help her with her ancient runes homework as they were progressing into their owl year.
"settle down, settle down." gordon attempted to quieten the group down, and eventually a tired hush befell the students. annabelle passed around a sheet of parchment upon which a timetable was drawn up. slowly but surely people began to stand up and pair with the person written next to their name, introducing themselves if they weren't too familiar with each other.
olympia and percy looked over the parchment together, faces falling as they scanned over the timetable. she didn't notice percy's tie slip out of the pocket of her robes and curl into a circle at the foot of his chair. someone noticed and tried to hand it back to him, failed in gaining an acknowledgement when he simply rocked side to side at a nudge on his shoulder.

fact: ron weasley has scary dog privileges.
and it’s not just harry and hermione that make people nervous of getting on his bad side.
ron has the smartest witch and the most dangerous wizard in his corner all the time. literally. they’re almost always seen in a trio.
but if it’s not them, ron has two older twin brothers that live by the “only WE get to mess with him” rule, and are notoriously known for more than just pranks in diagon alley.
and in the Ministry, ron’s got another brother acquainted with the law and government well enough to know how to work his way around it. then, he’s got a younger sister who’s more than willing to hex anyone who messes with her family.
even globally, nobody could outrun an angry werewolf, an spiteful veela, or a wizard with dragons.
nobody would expect it though, because it’s like ron hasn’t even noticed it himself.
but, for everyone’s safety, a new but unspoken rule became known in the magic community: don’t fuck with ron weasley.
