I'm gonna be honest, I don't understand why people are so desperate to ship a really problematic ship. In every version of it it's honestly problematic or has a huge problem that can honestly be considered nothing more then a proship.

In 2003: Karai is cannonly somewhere in her 20s. Meanwhile Leo is a teenager. While I do believe he became an adult by the end of the series, I still don't like the idea of Leo being shipped with Karai in this version due to possibly a big age gap with them.

In 2012: Karai is Leo's biological half sister. I'm pretty sure the turtles had to have used Splinter's DNA in order to mutate. Because according to the show, the last thinf you touch is what you mutate into and Splinter was the last thing the turtles touched.

In 2018/RISE: Karai is literally their great grandmother and she is 500 years old or something. The turtles, including Leo, actively call her gram-gram all of the time.

So I just- I genuinely don't understand why people try to ship them in other versions or in these versions. Also 2012 is the only iteration where she is a teenager, meanwhile all of the other versions are adults. Listen I love the whole enemies to lovers trope but Leorai will never be it and it's honestly disgusting. Will never understand why people praise it in any version at all.
