zolu is maybe one of the easiest ships i've ever liked. they're dating, except when they're not, they're best friends even when they're kissing and they're still captain and first mate when they aren't. they hold hands, they hug. they have sex. they don't.

Luffy can hold Zoro's katanas and Zoro can hold Luffy's strawhat and no one bats an eye. one says "You're so cool!" and the other says "You're strong" and it's just another way to say "I see you, this is why I follow you/this is why I trust you". it's not seeing each other for a long time and still knowing how the other's steps sound like against wood and sand. the captain runs and the first mate follows. it's always "Zoro and the others" and "Where's Luffy?"

if they're just friends, if they're something more, if they don't have a label for it, at its core, it's just about how they get each other. they understand how the other's mind works. however you view them, it doesn't erase they fact that they love each other in a way they don't love other people.

I've gotta do a virtual (chat) library reference interaction as the user for class. Using an actual library chat service. I need a question that is "substantive" and meaningful so the chat doesn't end immediately, but needs to be asked somewhere that isn't my own school/institution.

I am, unfortunately, blanking on ideas because I'm one of those people who IRL refuses to ask for help until I've exhausted everything I can think of, so I've got no sense of "this is good enough to fit" here. Plus, I'm afraid of asking a question that would have the librarian directing me into their own institutional databases, which I wouldn't be able to access.

The only thing I can think of is asking for help finding open-access stuff on a topic. (Topic I've thought of is anime, open to suggestions that are less potentially restrictive.)

i haven't written anything since the last wip game i did, but i started trying to put diana's timeline together at the start of january, so i mean... i'll show that instead. as you can see, fatigue hasn't let me do much with it even though i've got all of her timeline already done and strewn about all over the place.

started with 1995 onwards cause it was originally going to be an ewskers timeline situation, but then wanted to include all of her backstory so i went back to the start and still have the late 80s and early 90s to get through before then, but yeah :]

it's going to include like all little moments i've thought of between the ewskers just for me and placing them on the timeline, so you can imagine how long this is going to get if i have to go to 2021 for village... like just 1996-1998 is going to be so much... she's very special to me if you couldn't tell already lmaoo

never sharing this though, it's just for me, and like will help for when i do her timeline page (more in-depth version of what's on her oc page) to just run through canon events and brief descriptions and whatnot. you understand.

I have so much respect for people who can draw vehicles well because for me (and a lot of other people clearly) it's just like my brain fundamentally does not grasp the geometry. I see cars every day of my life constantly and they make visual sense to me but I cannot for the life of me translate that from eye to brain to hand without HEAVY photo referencing.
