The idea of Renee with white hair braided into her natural hair and rainbow beads at the tips occurred to me the other day and I can't stop thinking about it now
describing some books as a particular genre feels like a disservice to the book even if it's accurate because the book is a character study first and foremost and the actual genre is kind of just a backdrop for character writing to happen against
I need to know if the Ravens have ever had family members on their team and if the reason they have had some people on their team (Grayson, Cody's cousin) with family members involved in Exy, but not had those family members on their team (Lucas, Cody) is because those people weren't talented enough to get placed on the Ravens or because they wanted to continue to isolate their members from their families, not even allowing them to bond within the confines of the cult.
I need more fanart representation of Jean's absolutely horrendous hair in TSC. At the start of the book there are patches torn out and by the time he gets to California it's grown in a bit but is visibly patchy to the point Cat asks if he cut it himself and he never gets it trimmed in the rest of the book so it would just continue to be awful and uneven for that time. In a few weeks hair can grow about an inch so that would be the length of the shorter areas while the longer ones would be a normal length plus an inch to account for the fact that pre-attack Jean had a normal haircut, presumably.
