I have so much respect for people who can draw vehicles well because for me (and a lot of other people clearly) it's just like my brain fundamentally does not grasp the geometry. I see cars every day of my life constantly and they make visual sense to me but I cannot for the life of me translate that from eye to brain to hand without HEAVY photo referencing.

#It's just weird to me because vehicles are composed of very simple shapes and patterns in a very consistent manner I don't get why it #should be so hard #Like give me literally any animal and if I've seen it I can draw it at least passably from memory. Which I feel like should be harder?#Maybe not though like all vertebrates are composed of the same basic structures in different lengths/orientations/etc #a little more complicated when you get to invertebrates but the same basic idea applies
