I'd like to state my predictions for the season 1 ending
obviously episode 7 is gonna be about gathering their resources - convincing the other overlords to assist in the fight against the extermination (vaggi subplot perhaps?)
episode eight is of course going to focus on the fight, and hell is going to win. or at the very least succeed in driving the exterminators off, this is the only thing that makes sense in the narrative
but AFTER the battle (or perhaps during) the REAL conflict is going to just be building up. Adam (or Sera?) CANNOT admit that they are wrong (angles don't make mistakes) so they have to double down. And word has gotten out about the extermination to the average angel right?
So Adam needs PROOF that the extermination is not only necessary but ALSO righteous.
And for the first time EVER - demons are going to be fighting back against the exterminators. This isn't going to be the one-sided slaughter. this is going to be a battle, and demons that have been living in fear of exterminators are not going to be gentle or taking non-lethal shots. They are going to tear angels apart with extreme gusto!
And Adam is going to use that against them. He can show what's happening in hell LIVE. (or recorded via his little spaceship?)
And it will be so easy to sway heaven to his way of thinking! Look at all those sinners, tearing a part our people, our siblings in the heavenly host? Look at how they kill our holy soldiers painfully, drawing it out! Dismembering them alive! Look at their faces, the sinners ENJOY it. We couldn't let them go unpunished, this is an attack on heaven! And we have to make sure it NEVER happens again.
Hell may win this battle, but heaven is going to go to war.

the one thing i feel pretty certain about for this episode is that america will not decide the election. a decision will be made, a president will be elected, but america will not be the deciding factor.
succession can’t mimic 2016 or 2020 point blank, that would be boring and have nothing to say. it can’t try to outdo trump because it’ll go too whacky and fall flat like veep’s last season (sorry conheads, no way he’s winning). but what it CAN do is illustrate the immensely corrupt, often arbitrary, and hugely influential nature of news media and conglomerations on political processes. i think probably jimenez will be in the lead, then atn/waystar does something to, i don’t know, discount votes or cast suspicion on jimenez or call the election for mencken early, and the tide will shift, even though the votes are already in. the votes don’t actually matter. the actual result doesn’t actually matter. that’s the power logan (and as an extension, billionaires and CEOs in general) hold. shiv says it herself to logan in s4e2: “just cause you say it’s true doesn’t make it true. everyone just fucking agrees with you and believes you, so it becomes true and then you can turn around and say like, 'oh, you see? see? i was right.'” but it doesn’t matter that logan’s “a human fucking gaslight,” everything he says comes true anyways. not because he was right, but because that’s how it works. he says things and then they happen, regardless of what the truth is or what should actually come to pass. that’s been one of the key throughlines since the very first episode of the entire show when, in response to kendall calling logan out of touch because times are changing and logan isn't changing with them, logan hisses that everyone always says you’re wrong until you do it and prove you were right: “you make your own reality.” you can't miss the bus if you're the one driving it. the election, the votes, the political process? none of that matters. it was always going to come down to the roys and their ilk (allies or enemies, just the top 1%) — that was the whole point of “what it takes” (the mencken episode) last season, after all.
i’ve seen lots of theories about what america will choose and how the candidates will respond and all that and i just don’t think that’s the show’s focus; i think the whole point is to demonstrate the lack of agency, the illusion of democracy. because, i mean, we’ve already seen the fall of democracy via fascist election and fascist election-denial, both in real life and in the countless (usually mid) satires created afterwards. it would be disappointing to see succession use the election to reiterate that same point of 'ohhh alt-right ahhhhh!!!' i don’t think it’ll be about ‘fascism’ at all — at least, not ‘trump-y’ fascism. it’ll be about fascism in the broader sense, the kind that doesn't sport a KKK hood (even when it keeps one tucked away in the attic). it's the fascism that every single roy (very much including shiv and kendall) aid and abet -- the fascism that so many succession fans don't seem to regard as fascism, despite it quite literally being the definition of fascism. trump wasn’t the entrance of fascism into our political process. he wasn’t the lone sign of the failing of american democracy. democracy in america has long been illusory, trump just made it more blatantly evident with his particular brand of hate-speech-ridden masculinist in-your-face fascism.
so i think that’s what this episode will hopefully focus on — america will not decide. corporations, news media, and the roys will. thus, the president will most likely become president not because the country supports his policies the most, but because he’s likely to agree to help block a business deal for a major media empire, and the other candidate is unlikely to. and this will likely come to pass due to said major media empire's interference and influence: they create their own reality. they say it, and everyone agrees with them and believes them, so it becomes true.

Been replaying Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and despite remembering Koops being my favorite character when I was younger, upon replaying the game I’ve grown a lot more fond of Bobbery as of late. Which came to a surprise to me until I was discussing it with a friend and realized that he’s just fucking

Sorry if it feels like I'm spam posting... ANYWAYS we have three more kwamis for the third and outer ring of the Miracle Box.
Fluff, Longg, and Sass are another three kwamis that belong to the outer/third ring of the Chinese Miracle Box. For more information on this ring, visit my other post here.
First is Fluff: Fluff is the kwami of time and presents female. She wears an outfit inspired by the Sui dynasty. She only grants one power to her wielder, which is the ability to open portals through time. This is the "burrow" which leads to a multitude of realities and times that only Fluff and the wielder of the rabbit miraculous can safely navigate. Fluff has these powers, and she considers herself omnipresent because of her abilities.
Fluff is very chaotic in the show so I really enhanced that for her. She's a spaz, constantly all over the place and speaks so fast that often it is hard to understand her. She's constantly talking, either to herself, or blabbing herr mouth off to anyone in earshot. She also has a bad habit of talking over people/not letting people speak. She's very superstitious, so topics like that are her favorite to talk about, even when they're ridiculous. She has... very big eyes so she always appears to be surprised or in awe with everything around her.
Fun fact: When she picks a wielder, they're always from any timeline but the present.
Next we have Longg: Longg is the kwami of perfection and presents androgynously. (They use he/she/they pronouns). His attire comes from the Qing dynasty, and yes, it's a feminine outfit. However, her voice is very masculine. They only grant one power to their wielder, which technically sounds like three when described. The wielder can turn into three types of dragons, air, water, and lightning. The dragon varies from dragon designs across many eastern/asian cultures, but dominantly Chinese inspired. Longg has these powers himself, but much more powerfully and can even switch to dragons of other elements such as fire or ice.
Longg kinda has a noble dude vibe in the show and I completely obliterated that. Though she does have a very high esteem of her culture, particularly more ancient practices, she's much less noble and more of a trouble maker. Yes, despite being the kwami of perfection, they're often mischievous or punky. Like Tikki, Longg has very strict rules for picking the wielder of the dragon miraculous, though he tends to be biased about it and would rather pick a trans person over a cisgender person, for no other reason than he just wants someone with the same vibe as him. (She's not cisphobic... if that's a thing).
Fun fact: Longg can switch their body type ever so slightly to range from a more masc appearance to a more fem look whenever they please.
Lastly, my beautiful boy Sass: Sass is the kwami of intuition and presents as male. He wears a hanfu from the Tang dynasty. He only grants one power to his wielder, Second Chance, which is the ability to go back to a "check point" in time within certain limits. This is good for fixing errors that may have occurred during a fight, but also may trap the wielder of the snake miraculous in a time loop if they keep having to use it. Sass has this ability of course, though he rarely ever uses it.
I kept his personality similar to what's canon in the show. He's very leaderly and big on maintaining order. He likes to have control over things, and he despises chaos. He has a resting bitch face, which makes him look incredibly irritable all the time. Though he's basically the leader of all the other kwamis, he doesn't speak that much and chooses his words carefully when he does.
Fun fact: He loves music and can play a wide variety of instruments.

keep checking in on 59E59′s site page for the panic of ‘29 like soooo twirls hair you gonna tell us who all’s cast as whom......it feels like such a safe bet that will roland would be crime novelist jimmy armstrong, but intriguing that the show info With: [all the actors] list Starts with him lol, is it that sweet sweet deh obc clout, i really wouldn’t know b/c i have little sense of what actors are known for what, who are you people by and large. but that’s hardly certain that they consider that person the most Generally Known one, and it also lists understudies last, so i have to wonder if it’s the prominence of the parts, where what i’m getting at is that i could also see casting will as the nyse vp guy, for whom the central character, who could well be played by next in the list olivia puckett, works, and that would be a fun surprise b/c it’s not quite as [predictable type] as having him play the crime novelist guy who just annoys everyone, has patter, and gets owned hard i guess. which is why i still have to presume that’s his casting lol, but i am simply 👀
