I have a request if you don’t mind doing it!
Lovestruck Endeavor x Recovery Girl’s Grandson
Endeavor is deeply in love with Recovery Girl’s grandson that works with her in U.A, a quirk that is related to her, and has…some man tits. Endeavor would give the male reader presents like red roses with heart balloons attached to them, expensive jewelry and would bring male reader their favorite food every time he visits male reader in the nurse’s office to show his love for him. Male reader doesn’t feel the same way for some reasons, the age gap is a reason, Endeavor is 45 and male reader is 20 but male reader doesn’t want to hurt his feelings, so he has to go along with it.
You could add some parts as well, maybe non-con?
✧˚ ༘ ⋆HIS NURSE | LOVESTRUCK ENJI TODOROKI

(name) sighed as he plopped down onto the recovery girl’s office chair that he had taken over for the time being. recovery girl was taking a long-needed break, and (name) took the position to fill for her, since both of them have the same quirk. the job was going fine, even sometimes fun.
taking care of injured or sick students was a highlight of his day, it felt nice to see the kids get better, and it’s funny how flustered they can get when (name) has to give them a kiss to treat their wounds. it was truly nice until he met endeavor, the current number-one pro hero.
(name) had bumped into endeavor in a hallway in U.A. endeavor was truly memorized from his presence, from how (name’s) pouty lips were pink and plumped that looked so kissable to his nurse uniform that hugged his waist nicely, showing off his curves. neither of them didn’t say anything, (name) felt too awkward while endeavor was busy admiring his beauty.
after that encounter, endeavor couldn’t keep his eyes off (name) and wouldn’t leave him alone. every opportunity that endeavor had, he would visit (name) in the nurse’s office. he would bring him lunch, yummy desserts, or even luxury gifts. this surprised (name), especially when did endeavor to find out that he had a sweet tooth. endeavor even allowed him to address him by his first name.
later on, (name) figured out that the scary man had a crush on him, endeavor never told him that so he put the pieces together and the result is endeavor having a crush on him. (name) felt flattered, but he didn’t feel like it wouldn’t work. first of all, he thought that endeavor was a married man. second of all, (name) was still a young adult while endeavor was in his late middle age. lastly, he just felt uneasy around the man.
but, the kind-hearted man he was, he continued to let endeavor to do as he pleased, even if he had to suffer. back to the present, (name) rocked the chair side to side with a frown plastered on his face. the other pro heroes/teachers invited the nurse to have lunch with them since they’ve gotten along great for the past week.
that was a nice gesture, but he sadly declined. he didn’t want to see or interact with endeavor. endeavor would’ve most likely joined his comrades since he thought (name) would be there. he kept coming up with excuses for why he couldn’t join his new friends, and it was getting tiring. some were true, and some were lies.
(name) sighed once again as he looked towards his desk, eyeing the bouquet of roses lying there that endeavor purchased for him when (name) arrived in the morning. he recalled how endeavor told him that “the roses are as gorgeous as him”. the flattery and the gift did make his cheeks go red. (name) hummed, he should remind himself later to get a flower pot with water for the roses.
unexpectedly, there was a sudden knock on the door. (name) attention turned from the flowers to the door. was it a student? he continued to observe the door until he (name) finally responded, “come in”. he wouldn’t have spoken if he had known who was behind that door. the wooden door slid open slowly to reveal endeavor with a slight blush on his cheeks, while one of his hands was occupied with something.
he was wearing his hero attire, but the beard and mustache that were made of fire were missing, showing off his massive scar on his face. (name’s) eyes slightly widen as well as his mouth. he quickly stood up, accidentally knocking pens and pencils off the desk from the chair colliding with the desk.
“e-endeavor! hello! g-good to see you again! i thought you joined with the others for lunch!-”, (name) nervous stammering was interrupted. “i’ve told you to call me enji”, enji stated in his low voice that sent shivers down (name’s) spine. “r-right..”, (name) muttered while a bead of sweat rolled down his cheek.
“i had heard that you weren’t joining with the heroes.”, enji spoke as stepped inside the nursery. he stood in front of (name), his tall figure hovering over his petite frame. (name) nodded, “yes, i have too much..p-paperwork to get done!”, he answered as he pointed back to the stack of papers that were sat on top of his desk.
he glanced at the stack of paper, and (name) was indeed telling the truth. enji nodded, he understood. enji stared back at the nurse as he lifted a pink cloth that wrapped around a bento box to (name). (name) eyed the bento box with a brow raised. he was hesitant to grab it, but he took it regardless. “fuyumi made it just for you”, enji added as he looked away his cheeks flushed red.
(name) knew fuyumi, well not exactly. enji had talked about his kids to him and they sounded lovely. the only child (name) who had interacted with him was shoto. shoto only came to him when he was wounded, and he hardly got to know him. shoto was highly serious and clear-headed, but there was some sweetness about him, and that is what made (name) take a liking to him.
(name) smiled warmly at the bento box, he wondered if enji had talked about him to his kids. “could you please tell her that i highly appreciate it, i’m sure it tastes delicious!”, (name) giggled as he smiled brightly at enji. enji eyes slightly widened and his cheeks burned brighter as he felt his heart beating loudly. “hm..”, enji hummed.
after that, enji left the infirmary to let (name) continue his work, and eat the food in the bento in peace. he was grateful, as soon he took a bite of the food, he thought he would die of joy. the food tasted delightful. if he ever met fuyumi, he would ask for some recipes from her.
‧₊ ᵎᵎ 🎀 ⋅ ˚✮ 🧸
the sun has started to set, all the students went to their dorms while the heroes had their hero duties to attend to. (name) had already finished with his lunch, and it was delicious. (name) was busy typing away on the computer that was on the desk. papers, folders, pencils, and pens were scattered around the desk.
he was too invested in staring at the computer screen to realize the infirmary door slid open and someone walking in. footsteps were coming closer to him, but (name) didn’t notice, until two large hands grasped onto his shoulders. (name’s) typing had come to a halt, his eyes widened as he shuddered in his chair, and he felt his heart stop beating from the scare.
“relax (name), it’s me”, enji reassured him as he gently rubbed (name’s) shoulders to comfort him. (name) sighed in relief but he continued to be on edge. how enji was massaging his shoulders made him feel uneasy. he couldn’t just tell enji to stop his actions, that would just be impolite, after all, enji was just being affectionate.
“s-sorry, you startled me..”, (name) trembled as he tried not to focus on what enji was doing. his eyes looked somewhere else besides enji as sweat beads started to form. the awkward silence was finally broken. “i’ve bought you a gift”, enji stated with a hint of delight in his voice. (name) wasn’t surprised.
now and then, when they both bumped into each other or if endeavor visited the infirmary, he would have a gift in his grasp for (name). whether it be something thoughtful or something luxurious. (name) had told him many times that he didn’t want him to spend his hard-earned money on him, but enji was stubborn as ever and wouldn’t listen.
“you did wha-”, (name) didn’t even finish what he was going to say. the chair was turned around quickly by enji, making him release a shriek. (name) was faced with enji revealing a black medium-sized jewelry box that was topped off with a white ribbon. endeavor slowly opened the box, revealing a sparkling continuous oval diamond necklace.
(name’s) eyes widened, his mouth agape slightly as he stared at the gorgeous and expensive necklace. he couldn’t accept the lavish gift, but endeavor wouldn’t let that happen, (name) couldn’t refuse if he wanted to. enji saw how (name) was memorized by the luxuriant gift he happily bought for him, and he smirked with pride.
“here, let me assist you with placing it around your neck”, endeavor requested with a small smile present on his face. (name) hesitated, but agreed. “o-okay..”, (name) muttered as he slowly rose from the chair, and turned around for endeavor to have easier access to his neck. endeavor didn’t waste this opportunity to look at (name’s) backside.
he looked at his neck he desperately wanted to mark to his waist that he could easily snatch, and then to his plump ass that he extremely wanted to place his hands onto, he bet that it felt soft and squishy. endeavor pushed those thoughts away to focus on his task, putting on this gorgeous necklace around the most beautiful man he ever laid his eyes on.
endeavor carefully removed the necklace from the box, as he safely grasped it. he gently placed the necklace around (name’s) neck as he made sure not to accidentally harm (name) and then fastened the clasp securely. as the necklace was finally around the male’s necklace, endeavor smirked in pride.
knowing that his wealth would “impress” (name), and his money would take care of him for the rest of his life swelled him up with honor. the thought of (name) being his adorable househusband, taking care of the house while enji would shower with him luxury would make his face flush, and even sometimes a boner.
(name) reached for the necklace, his hands roamed the necklace carefully, fingers intertwined with the diamonds attached to the necklace. maybe..he was wrong about enji. (name) didn’t mention this earlier but he thought that enji was a weird old man that had an obsession with him.
it’s just a silly crush that enji would forget about. (name) smiled fondly, “thank you enji, it’s lovely-”. oh, how (name) wished he took those words back. endeavor craned (name’s) neck upwards to try to meet his face level as his lips met (name’s). (name’s) eyes widen in horror, his body flinches as his felt endeavor’s big hand gripped onto his hip.
endeavor’s eyes were shut as he focused on the kiss, he felt like he was on cloud nine. this was like a fairy tale, this was finally happening. how badly (name) wanted to push the man away, and slap him..but the outcome of it. call him selfish, but he doesn’t want to see the large man heartbroken, he wouldn’t live with himself if he was the cause of the endeavor’s depressive behavior.
the fear of the one interfering with the endeavor’s hero work. (name) shook those upset thoughts away as he hesitantly kissed back, closing his eyes. endeavor noticed it made his cheeks turn pink. (name) had finally fallen in love with him as much as he does with (name), that’s what endeavor has thought. (name’s) heart was pounding, and his knees started to feel like jelly.
endeavor realized (name’s) state. he quickly pressed (name) to the wall, trapping him. a grunt left (name’s) lips but that was swallowed up by the kiss. (name) tried to hold himself up. his hands grabbing onto the walls to prevent himself from falling. (name) felt disgusted with himself, he shouldn’t let this man take advantage of him, but he’s allowing him.
endeavor’s hands were placed on (name’s) hips, rubbing them up, and down as their kiss was getting heated. the intimate touches were making (name) hot and bothered, and he was whimpering from the sensation. endeavor’s hand continued to roam (name’s) body until his hands landed on (name’s) ass.
(name) gasped, and endeavor quickly invaded his mouth with his tongue. (name) was taken back by the sudden intrusion, but didn’t complain or even push the man off. tears threatened to spill from (name’s) eyes, endeavor’s tongue was a bit big for his mouth to fit in so he would gag at times.
their tongues tangled together fighting for dominance, but it was endeavor who was doing that crap, he wanted to take full control as drool leaked from (name’s) mouth. (name) was panting in the open-mouthed kiss, this will soon blow over, right? this silly “little” crush?

A Wishful Time - Pt 3
Omega Reader x Alpha Eijiro x Omega Katsuki
Tumblr media
Context: In the peaceful village of Yuuie, you and your best friend, Katsuki, hope to catch the eye of the Alpha of your dreams. Kirishima Eijiro.
Note: This story is OMEGAVERSE. This story takes place in a historical non modern setting so please take note of that when it comes to the jobs in society that the characters take and how they act. Bakugou Katsuki is an OMEGA. Reader and him are AFAB but there is no smut this chapter so its unimportant right now
[Masterlist]
The kitchen was cleaned and finally no trace of tonight’s dinner was left in the great hall’s kitchen. It would normally be a rather calm atmosphere, with Omegas bustling around happily to keep the space clean again for tomorrow, however the sound of arguing Alphas outside the door was an evident one. It was loud, filled with growling and unnecessary increased levels of testosterone and dominant pheromones. You let out a sigh as you dusted your hands.
Katsuki wasn’t here, he wasn’t on duty tonight, conveniently. Most of the Omegas moved quietly, taking their aprons as they quietly left out of the door to the rather pungent smell of dominating Alpha scents in the air.
A loud bang went through the air as Kirishima Takeo slammed his fist against a table with a deadly look in his eyes. He pointed a finger over to Touya who stood opposite with his father and the other Todoroki Alphas there. “Touya is lucky the Aizawas and the Bakugous are so civil. If that was Tamami, I would have killed Touya with my own bare hands.” Eijiro and his eldest sister, Akari, both let out growls in agreement to what their sire had said.
Touya scrunched up his face at the thought. He rolled his icy azure eyes. “Don’t worry, I would never dream of touching your snotty faced daughter.” He spoke nonchalantly as he stood beside his father and siblings.
At the insult Akari and Eijiro looked right about ready to race across the table and kill Touya. Before Enji could even growl out for order amongst the opposition, Takeo put up a single hand. His face was set in a hard scowl, ruby eyes on the opposing side as he was silent.
“Yet you dared to put your hands on my son.” Mitsuki growled out as she took a step forward, hands on the table. Her crimson eyes zeroed in on Touya with a heavy scowl on her face so much like her son.
Touya raised his hands showing the bite mark that was still present on his hand. He pointed to it with a glare. “That fucking bitch bit my hand.”
Izuku let out a scoff. “You’re lucky that he didn’t bite your balls off, since you clearly don’t need them.” The comment made Touya and Enji growl viciously at the green haired Alpha. Aizawa put a hand to Izuku’s shoulder. He glanced at him, silently telling him it wasn’t worth it but he kept his eyes forward.
Enji sighed as he put a hand on his eldest son’s shoulder. He kept his head up as he stood beside him. “Although Touya’s methods were… a bit much,” Mitsuki scoffed. “His intentions were pure. All he wanted was to express his desire for the two Omegas as the future Head Alpha.”
Takeo watched from the corner of his eye as his son was practically vibrating in rage as he growled lowly at the thought of you and Katsuki belonging to the white haired Alpha.
“So for any Omega the Todoroki’s deem fancying they should just expect such treatment?” Rikkido asked, his large hands gripping his arms. The point he made seemed to resonate with others, clearly making the Alphas feel agitated at the thought of such occurring.
Shoto let out a breath not liking the tension. He didn’t have a choice but to stand by his family. Family was important and was the strength of its members. Shoto didn’t support what Touya did to you and Katsuki, neither did his mother or Enji’s other wives or Fuyumi or even Natsuo, but they wouldn’t dare to speak up against Enji. The bruises were one thing to hide but Enji was known for not being ashamed of his rather rage filled outbursts. “Omegas shouldn’t be moving around out of eyesight right now anyways.” He spoke out. “Especially with the Springtime Festival coming up and all the trading and visitation our pack will have, we can’t afford not to protect our Omegas right now.”
The Alphas continued their heated discussions amongst themselves, sour scents and heated glares and growls filled the space as they seemed so adamant on talking above each other or damn right just arguing. Inko, Chiyo and Rei all watched the Alphas as they growled and sneered at one another.
The three of them formed the three Omegan members that were allowed in the Pack meetings and gave their own inputs and opinions concerning the Omegas and fellow femmes of the Pack. Although they obviously didn’t have the biggest say in most matters and often than not the Omegas didn’t see the need to be part of the meetings as they trusted the heads of their families, their mates and siblings all enough to make decisions for the good of the Pack. Omegas didn’t exactly have a say few decades ago and they didn’t see much of a need to have a say now. However, it was times like this that their input was needed.
Chiyo, being the oldest amongst all of them and practical Head of Omegas being the wisest and knowing the most about Omegas and pup rearing, let out a sigh. She raised her walking stick just a bit above the wooden floors. She hit the ground three times, ultimately silencing all the Alphas around her. She looked around at all of them before letting out a breath, she stood up onto her feet. “I think you, young Shoto,” She started looking to the bicoloured haired Alpha. “forget that you, Alphas, have enough jobs to do to make this village run. Alphas and Omegas have different roles, different functions in society. Alphas run the businesses, head your families and protect this pack. Omegas run this pack in the shadows, do the necessary daily chores, birth and rear pups, keep our pack running. Realistically, Alphas cannot always be watching over their Omegas unless you think the Omegas should stay indoors all day and let everything else slip away.” She looked around, the room silent. She wasn’t wrong and they knew that. Realistically, they couldn’t watch over the Omegas like that. She then looked to the Todorokis who were also silent. She lets out a huff. “Nothing changes, other than young Touya.”
Before Touya could react, other families disagreeing about the whole ordeal and standing with the Todorokis too, Takeo spoke up. “I think,” He started loud enough to get attention. “That Touya can not be considered as a future Head Alpha.”
“Now here we go again, with that bullshit!” Enji shouted as he put his hands on the table glaring at Takeo. “You know Takeo, ever since we were younger you’ve done nothing but challenge me.”
Takeo kept his head up as he faced Enji unwavering. “I shouldn’t have to challenge you if you were right for the pack.”
Enji scowled as a loud vicious growl came out of his chest. He pushed off against the table making a loud noise. He stomped over to the other side, fixated on getting his hands on Takeo. Rei let out a soft chirp, reaching out a hand as she held onto his arm, trying to console him as much as she could and stop his madness. However, he let out a low growl, flicking her off of him, letting her stumble backwards, Shoto just catching his mother before she could fall. Akari and Eijiro let out low possessive growls as they stood in front of their sire protectively. Before they could position themselves in front of him, Takeo put a hand up, indicating that he didn’t want them to do such a thing.
Takeo moved forward, his arms at his side as he stood before Enji. Enji stood face to face with Takeo. The two large Alphas effectively dominating the space enough that everyone else was quiet. Takeo stood unwavering as he stood his ground, not affected by Enji’s snarling as he glared at him. They stood face to face, matching each other in size as they focused on the other.
Enji let out an annoyed tsk as he raised his nose. “The Todorokis have led Yuuie for generations and we will continue to do so.”
The opposing Alpha furrowed his brows. “Continue to do so? I don’t think so. The rest of us stay quiet on how you treat your wives and your pups, but don’t you dare think of bringing that and the rest of your ideals into the village, into the pack where they are not wanted.” He defended strongly.
Enji rolled his eyes as he sneered. “Please. We’re the ones who bring and force our ideals onto the pack? The other’s might have forgotten but I know your family history, Takeo and I know that you Kirishimas have specific taste.” At the statement Takeo’s jaw clenched as his glare tightened. Akari and Eijiro glanced at each other but remained silent, not knowing what was being said. Enji had no proof at what he was saying and that was the only council Takeo had. That and according to everyone around them, it was all just Enji drawling about nonsense. “What about you and your beef brained pups trying to step in on the Head family’s space!” He huffed.
It was true, the Kirishimas often did do things that were typically only done by the Head Family of a pack, but it had no ill intent and they never stopped the Todorokis from doing it. They visited Omegas who had just had pups or expecting pups, seeing how they could help or support in any way, they often than not looked after any pups while their parents were too busy with their own work and they were a looked to figure in the pack. However, the Todorokis often got annoyed and didn’t end up doing said things due to the Kirishimas and how well they were integrated into the pack.
“We support this pack, we do whatever it is necessary to help every pack member here.” Takeo defended as he motioned around to the others around him. “What about you and your fucking high horse that you sit upon. While you’re busy shoving around your wives, I’m doing something Enji!”
Enji stepped forward. Aizawa felt a building tension about to snap. “Now how about you stop talking about my Omegas and focus on your own breeder fat cow of a wife.”
Instantly the silence in the room was insurmountable as the tension rose higher than it had ever done before. Even Eijiro and Akari were silent as they looked between one another and then to their sire.
Takeo was silent, however his hands balled into fists as his body seemed to vibrate in pure rage. A barely contained growl was starting to rumble out of his chest as he moved his big hands so fast it was hard to even see if one blinked. Takeo had Enji slammed down against the table, his hand gripping Enji’s head keeping him down against the wooden table. His nails dug into Enji’s skin as he stared down at him with black soulless eyes, his grip threatening to one to dislocate the arm he was holding.
“What… did you just call my wife?” He whispered down in barely contained fury.
Aizawa glanced to the side to see you Omegas staying within the kitchen away from all the fighting and anger. He then caught sight of you as you held Tamami close to you. He flicked his gaze to Takeo quickly before looking back to you. You understood the silent instruction. The last thing you all wanted was for Takeo to kill Enji, at least not now. Not when a formal fight had not been established.
You turned to look down at Tamami who had been keeping to your side. “Okay, Tamami.” You whispered over to her. The young Omega looked up at you with wide ruby eyes, listening to your every word. “We need you to go calm down your sire. You think you can do that?” You asked the little twelve year old. Her red hair was short and fell to her shoulders and framed her face so cutely. She was still stuck in the stages of between a pup and an Omega so she would be perfect for this right now.
She kept her hands together but nodded her head determined. The rest of you Omegas who were waiting for the tension to die down, let her leave. Tamami was hesitant but made her way over to the table. She kept her eyes on her sire as she moved away from all the sour scents, moving around silently and almost unnoticeably. She squeezed her way through, past her older sister who looked down at her in surprise that she was here and so did Eijiro.
Tamami put a soft hand to Takeo’s side with a soft chirp. Immediately Takeo snapped his head to look down at his daughter. She looked up at him with soft ruby eyes, her soft apple pie scent with dust of sugar was released into the air little by little, trying to calm down the situation but there was an undertone of sour cranberry showing that she was also a bit distressed. “Daddy, it’s late.” She let out softly as she tugged on his tunic. “Let us go home.”
Takeo was silent, frozen in time for a second before visibly his hold softened and so did his expression. However, he did turn back to Enji with a sneer. He forced him back against the table with a low thud before Enji could even escape or think of leaving. “You and me, three days time, village centre.” He growled out lowly. Enji’s jaw tensed but he grunted in acceptance.
Takeo let go of the large Alpha before moving immediately to his youngest daughter here. He picked her up effortlessly, moving her into his arms to make sure she was safe and away from the eyes of other Alphas there. Takeo wasn’t stupid, he knew how some Alphas saw Omegas as young as Tamami.
Enji stumbled up with the help of the Iidas. He glared over at Takeo’s retreating form. “As I thought, keeping family traditions.” Enji snidely said.
Tamami put her face to his neck, trying to calm him down as best as she could so that he wouldn’t focus on anything Enji was saying, scenting him sweetly with small chirps. Takeo rumbled as he rubbed her back, trying his best to console her if he did make her upset. He focused on calming down his distressed pup, and that was his main priority. Eijiro and Akari followed after the two of them, knowing that all had been said and done for tonight.
Katsuki and you finally put everything you had made into a basket and made your way to the Kirishimas property. It was a bit of a long walk from the busy village central as you walked along the dirt path that led to some of the farms of Yuuie. The Midoriya acres were much further however the moment you started seeing a nice pretty red fence as well as a lot of green grass, you knew you were close to the Kirishimas. The dirt path had a canopy of the leaves from the trees providing you both shade as you walked side by side.
You looked at Katsuki who seemed nervous as he held tightly to the basket that you had both carefully arranged together. He kept his head up, trying not to seem nervous but you could see it bleeding into his scent. You shoved him lightly. “Katsuki, it’s okay. I’m sure he will like it.” You assured him.
Katsuki nodded before looking down at the attire that the two of you wore for today. A bit more formal than normal but then again, you were visiting another family. Katsuki had made sure to dress the both of you enough to seem casual and yet highlight all and any curves. He moved to take a leaf off your shoulder before focusing forward. “I just want everything to be perfect. It has to be.” Katsuki had a determined look on his face.
All Katsuki wanted was to get their approval, to prove to Eijiro and his family that the two of you were perfect for their son, or at least perfect mate material to push their son into your direction. It was a small fear that Mitsuki couldn’t help but remind him last night. The longer the two of you were unmarried, the longer you were unprotected.
You took his free hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. He looked to you. Upon seeing your soft face and loving features, he couldnt help but relax. He nodded his head as you both turned down the dirt path on the right towards the main centre of the property.
Huge green grass and weeds surrounded the Kirishima property with a fence to keep the cows in. You watched as cows stayed grazing in their pastures, some drinking water. The cows seemed rather unbothered. You watched as a Kirishima sister, what seemed to be Akari, stood with a bunch of cows surrounding her, petting one on the head as she talked to them as if they could understand her (they seemingly could since they answered back).
You both neared the house to see Nameer walking around with a pup wrapped tightly to his back as he walked across with a bundle of clothes in a large bucket. He turned to look at the two of you. The dark brown curly haired Omega smiled at the sight of the two of you. “Oh, hello you two.” Nameer was Akari’s Omega and had been happily mated to one another for the past four years.
“Good afternoon, Nameer.” You both greeted him with a bow at your waist. “Where’s Eijiro and Takeo?”
Nameer motioned a beautiful golden bronze hand towards a barn not too far away in the fields near the cows. “With the cows but they’re gonna come over for lunch soon. You can go talk to Yua in the main house, she’s making lunch.” He told you.
You both nodded before moving towards the main house. Around the main house were two other homes too. You saw Tamami with a bunch of small pups running around her feet as she placed the cleanly washed sheets up on the line. You noticed some Kirishima pups as well as pups from other families. They all giggled and chased one another, being careful not to dirty any of the newly washed sheets but stayed close enough to Tamami so that she could keep an eye on them.
You and Katsuki moved up the steps into the main house. Inside the home smelt of happy scents and a comfortable sense of family around. In the kitchen, was Yua who was mixing milk and mashed strawberries together.
The red-haired Omega stood in a comfortably dress with an apron over it. She didn’t wear her neck tie, exposing her mating mark that was reopened, red with the evidence of a fresh reclaiming from her Alpha. On her skin were love marks and bites littering her neck, shoulders and chest. Her scent was mixed with her Alpha’s making her beam. She looked up at the two of you with a happy expression. “Oh, welcome you too. I’m glad to see you.”
“Hello Yua.” Katsuki started as he stuck to your side. “May we talk to Eijiro and Takeo, please. We brought them a gift for all they did for us the other day.” He motioned down to the basket that was covered with a cloth but smelt of something warm and toasty inside.
Yua perked up at his words, pausing what she was doing to look at the two of you. It was then that you stepped forward with the two shirts in hand moving them over to her. “These were given to us and we’d like to return them.”
Yua took the shirts and smiled. “Well, let me call them in for you. We were about to have snacks for lunch anyways.” She happily chirped as she moved over to the doorway. “Tamami! Go call your siblings and sire please.”
It didn’t take long before walking into the main house were three big Alphas followed by a younger Kirishima Alpha, Hana, who was just two years younger than the two of you. The group seemed to be discussing something, not minding the small pups around them.
However, the notice of your two new scents did take priority of their attention. Turning to look into the room to find you and Katsuki standing side by side. Takeo raised an eyebrow before turning to look to his wife. He was shirtless of course and down his back were red lines almost as if someone tried to claw at his back. His scent woven in with his wife’s. He let out a questioning grunt with a confused tilt of his head, not bothered by the two of you clearly which was a relief.
Yua giggled as she stepped forward. “Takeo, Eijiro, Yn and Katsuki wanted to talk to the two of you.” She spoke lightly.
Eijiro perked up at the mention of his name before turning to the two of you. He tilted his head to the side confused as well. You both normally never came over to his home on any regular day, so this was new for him.
Katsuki and you raised an eyebrow before nodding. You both moved to your knees in front of the two of them. You lowered your heads down in submission and holding up the gift. “Thank you so much for all that you did for us the other day.” You started for the two of you. “We are so thankful for your intervention and support. Truly.”
“We just wanted to share our appreciation.” Katsuki continued, his voice softer than normal yet still held the low grunt to it that he normally had.. “We…” He tried not to get overcome as his face bloomed red. He looked shy almost, as he kept his eyes down. “We hope you Alphas like it.”
Eijiro’s eyes widened in surprise and so did Takeo’s. This was not what they were expecting at all. Eijiro couldn’t help but feel a bit bashful having two pretty Omegas bowing before him. It seemed like some weird dream he probably has had before. Takeo sniffed as he took a few steps forward. He tilted his head in interest at the smell of meat. Him and Eijiro took the baskets up out of Katuski’s hold, moving the towel away.
Laying still warm and waiting to be eaten were handheld chicken pies. They were still warm and smelt delicious. Takeo and Eijiro both released rumbles in approval, instantly rousing Akari’s attention who joined the two other Alphas. You were sure that if they had tails, they would probably be wagging as they crowded the basket. You watched Eijiro pick up one of the handheld pies. He tilted his head in interest before taking a bite into it.
It only took Eijiro a second before his pupils thickened and consumed his irises as he happily stuffed the rest of the pie into his face with a loud rumble from his chest. Takeo was next, happily chomping on the pie with a smile on his face as he ate happily. Akari moved to grab one of the pies but her hand was slapped away from a possessive Eijiro and Takeo, causing some discord between the three.
Yua rolled her eyes before clearing her throat. The three of them were reminded of everyone else’s presence, they glanced at one another than back at each other. Akari took off with the one she had already bit and handed it over to her Omega who had just walked in wondering what on earth was going on. You giggled at the expression of the three Alphas, almost as if they had gotten caught stealing cookies as pups. You looked to Katsuki. He motioned towards the doorway with a gentle smile, happy to see that they liked your cooking. You both sneakily grabbed two pies and moved outside away from the Kirishimas with an appreciative nod to Yua.
Once you were outside you noticed Tamami move with an empty basket towards the two of you. She perked up in surprise at the sight. A bright smile went to her face. “Hello you two!” She spoke chirply as a little Kirishima pup ran over to tug on the long skirt of her dress.
“Tammy!” The little wide eyed golden eyed pup whined as she looked up at her older sister. Chiyo put a hand to her stomach as she looked up at Tamami. “I hungwy.” She let out a small pup trill indicating her need.
Tamami giggled. “I’ll get you and the others something right now.” She assured the little one before turning back to the both of you.
“No need.” Katsuki told her as he walked over to stand near Tamami. He let out soft chirps, taking the attention of the pups as they ran towards him. Katsuki put on a gentle smile as he bend down to split the pie he had in his hands. He let out a soft purring rumble, lulling the pups towards him. He crouched down splitting open the warm pie carefully. He handed the first piece to one of Tetsutetsu’s younger siblings. The little silver haired pup accepted the piece with a grateful chirp, stuffing the piece of pie into his mouth. He let out a grateful purr making Katsuki smile at the little boy.
You moved over to Tamami, handing her half of the pie you had in your own hands. Her eyes opened wide in surprise. She put down the woven basket, before bowing as she gratefully took the pie from you. “Thank you, Y/N.” She said appreciatively as she gratefully ate the half you gave her.
“No problem, Tamami. You keep doing your best as a shadow, you’ve done a lot of us Omegas proud.” You told her supportively, making the younger Omega perk up in happiness with wide ruby eyes. You moved over to a very happy Katsuki who seemed to just beaming surrounded by pups. You crouched down next to him, breaking off pieces of the half you had and giving it to the pups too.
Eijiro rushed out of the house, looking around for you and Katsuki. He had gotten so engrossed with the pies he didn’t say thank you. He paused upon seeing the both of you crouched down with a whole group of pups around you, yipping in delight at the food you had brought them. Eijiro’s demeanour softened at the sight of the two of you. Katsuki had this beautiful smile on his face, one of those rare ones that Eijiro had the pleasure of seeing, as he wiped the mouth of one Eijiro’s younger sister. You giggled along with some of the pups that were practically licking their dirty fingers clean.
You both looked so good with pups around you. It’s almost as if you were both meant to be dams. Eijiro could see that. He could see it as plain as day. The three of you here, everyday with his family, surrounded by pups and him getting to see the both of you almost every minute of the day. Pups around you and you both carrying his pups inside you.
The thought made Eijiro pause.
You’d both look so good bred with his pups… His Alpha rumbled at the thought.
Breed Omegas.
“Oh what are you thinking about Eiji?” Akari sided up next to Eijiro with a smirk on her face as she folded her arms across her large chest as she looked down at him with a knowing look.
Eijiro perked up, remembering that his scent would give him away he shook his head with a low grunt, quickly covering up his aroused scent by one of annoyance. He glared at Akari. “Nothing.”
Akari chuckled. “Didn’t smell like nothing, little brother.” She commented, ruffling his hair making an angry growl come out of his throat, as he swatted her arm away from him. Immediately his older sister swung her arm and pulled him into a head lock. Eijiro fought back instantly, trying to pull himself out of her hold. She chuckled at his antics. “You better put your balls on straight and go ask for their hand.” She leaned down towards his head. “The last thing we want is a Todoroki getting something that belongs to a Kirishima.” She let out lowly, before patting him on the back and setting him free.
Katsuki and you had finally wiped the pups face with your handkerchiefs and were making your way back down the dirt path heading back to the village. “Y/N! Katsuki!” You both paused at the sound of your names. You turned around to see Eijiro running over to the two of you. You both paused as you turned to look back at him. You both lowered your gazes, exposing your necks to him in submission. He let out a chuft before stepping forward. “Festival… I…” Suddenly it felt as though Eijiro had no words. He didn’t know what to say. Why did he even come to talk to the two of you in the first place. He lifted up his chin trying to stomach some courage. “Thank you. I… I really like your food.”
You felt heat go to your face at the compliment. Katsuki lifted his chin up in pride with a soft smirk making you giggle. Katsuki took a hold of your arm. “We made it just for you.” Katsuki nodded his head before pausing, realising what he had just said. You giggled at his spilling of the truth. Katsuki glared at you as he moved to hide his face near your neck, away from Eijiro. “I-I mean… You and your sire, of course. Not just you. I mean, we thought of you when we made them but… we… I…” Katsuki turned as red as a tomato before deciding to just hide his face in your neck and ignore Eijiro altogether.
You giggled at the blond Omega beside you, rubbing your fingers over his knuckles. You looked back to Eijiro. “We’ll see you at the festival, right?” Eijiro nodded his head. You smiled. Your smile was enough to make him feel like he could faint. “Great. See you, Alpha.” You waved a hand as you stirred you and Katsuki away from him, heading back to the main road.
Eijiro watched the both of you walk off, almost breathless at the beauty of the both of you. Takeo walked over to stand next to him, dusting his hands before putting his hands to his hips. He motioned to the two of you before looking to Eijiro. “I like them.”

New Baby Pt. 3 | Platonic!Yandere!Todoroki Family x Reader
Tumblr media
Every morning you were given your medication by Rei with the supervision of Enji. Then you'd get dressed for the day and head to the living area, where everyone would usually be waiting for you.
And despite the fact that you had grown used to the routine, the Todoroki's could still tell that you were holding onto the belief that your parents would one day come back.
How sad, they all thought.
Little did you know that they had been threatened to hell and back by Enji to ensure that your parents would never attempt to try and gain custody of you again.
They were in far too much debt and had no power against the #2 Pro-Hero of Japan.
Enji and Rei had been hoping you'd be easier to manipulate but you were so stupidly hopeful of the future like any other child and while they loved that about you, it wasn't helpful in their situation.
You were currently watching the Natsuo and Shoto play a card game against each other. When they finished a few rounds, they looked to you with encouraging smiles.
"(Y/N), you want to play?" Natsuo asked, raising his eyebrows.
A shrug left your shoulders, "Not really..."
Enji and Rei sat nearby on a couch. Rei looked at her husband, conflicted on whether she should say something to you. She didn’t want to scare you like she had previously.
Softly, she spoke, “(Y/N), why don’t you try playing one game? If you don’t like it, then we can find something else to do.”
Your lips pursed in distaste but you scooted closer to the brothers and allowed Natsuo to deal you your hand.
You quickly finished a round and gave the cards to Natsuo, unimpressed. “I’m going to my room.” You announced only for Enji to block the doorway.
“You need to stay out here, (Y/N). Tucking yourself away in your room isn’t healthy.”
With pursed lips, you timidly sat back down to watch the boys.
Shoto spoke up, noticing your souring mood, "Do you want to play a different game instead? It doesn't have to be a card game, it can be whatever you want."
You weren't in the mood to play anything but it appeared that you had no other choice and you didn't want to sit around doing nothing.
"Ok... that's fine." You chose a game to play and after a few rounds you spoke again, "When does Fuyumi get home?"
It had grown apparent to everyone in the house that Fuyumi was your favorite person in the house. In the past two weeks that you'd been here, you'd been at her side as much as possible.
If Fuyumi was in the kitchen cooking, you were there to help her. If you were watching TV, you would ask her to come watch with you.
It got to the point that Enji forced her to take extra hours at work so that they could get a chance to bond with you.
Having a relationship with your siblings was important, but not as important as having a relationship with you mommy and daddy.
Enji answered when no one else would, "She'll get here when she gets here."
Frowning, you slumped your shoulders slightly. You knew that meant that she wouldn't be back until dinner which was a few hours from now.
Natsuo stood up, patting your head sympathetically. He was jealous for sure. How had you bonded with Fuyumi so easily?
Hell, Enji had to force you to play with him and his brother.
You moved away from his touch and he bit back the anger that burned inside of him. What could he do to get on your good side?
Before he could ask if you wanted to do anything else, you walked over to Enji and Rei, eyes shifting around nervously.
"What is it, sweetheart?" Rei said, smiling sweetly.
"Um..." You trailed off. Any questions about your parents were off limits, but it'd been two weeks now and you still hadn't heard anything.
“I want to know how my parents are doing?”
The room stilled at the question.
Enji looked to the boys and they both left without another word, only glancing at you with something akin to pity.
“Did I not tell you those questions are forbidden, (Y/N)?”
You shriveled into yourself, “I just want to know if they’re ok.” And when can they come take me from this place.
Enji closed his eyes with a deep sigh, “(Y/N), you’re a smart girl. Isn’t it obvious what’s going on here?” He asked you condescendingly. "I thought you would've understood by now since you'd stopped asking."
You blinked, wondering what he meant by that.
Rei smiled sadly, “Oh, (Y/N), you’re parents don’t want you anymore.” She didn't sound sad despite the look on her face. You didn't miss the misplaced happiness in her tone.
She rose from her seat to give you a hug, “I’m so sorr-!” She jolted back when you shoved her with all your might.
Tears stung your eyes and you eyed the two strangers in front of you darkly, “My parents would never leave me! Don’t say stuff like that!”
Enji huffed, rising to tower over you.
You trembled but held firm, looking him in the eyes. Resolute in your declaration that your parents hadn’t left you.
But Enji had planned for this.
“How about we call them?” He said, pulling out his phone, “So they can tell you themselves.”
You swallowed your anxiety down, “Ok.”
He typed some numbers on his phone and held it to his ear, “ Hello? (Y/N) wishes to speak with you two.”
Enji passed the phone over and you gladly took it, smiling wide when you brought it to your ear.
“Mama? Daddy?” You called, beaming when you heard them respond, “I miss you guys a lot! This family is taking really good care of me…” you trailed off before starting again. “But I really want to come back home… But Mr. Todoroki said you didn’t want me… that’s not true though, right? When are you guys gonna come get m-“
“Look, (Y/N)… you’re too heavy of a burden. We can’t afford the medical bills.” Came your father’s voice.
“Huh?”
“We don’t want you anymore… don’t call us anymore. We’re trying to move on with our lives.” Your mom added.
“Please don’t say that!” You wept, “I miss you-“ You felt your heart tear when the phone call ended.
A thick silence filled the room. Only your quivering breaths emitted through the air.
You could feel yourself breathing but your chest felt too tight, there was no way this was happening.
There was no way your parents could just abandon you like that. How could they?
The day before you were taken to the Todoroki house, you were supposed to go the movies and have popcorn with lots of butter and a big soda.
And now, here you were, under the guardianship of two strangers that want to be your new parents without asking if you were okay with that.
“It’s unfortunate, but I promise everything will be ok, Y/N).” Enji’s voice barely reached your ears, “so long as you see us as your mom and dad.”
But they weren’t. You couldn’t forget that major detail.
The “I know it’s painful, baby,” Rei cooed beside you. Her arms leeched around you, entrapping you in her embrace. “Mama will make it all better.”
No, she wouldn’t.
Rei of all people wouldn’t be able to make this better.
“Breathe, (Y/N), you’ll make yourself pass out.” Enji warned, but you couldn’t.
You didn’t want to breathe.
What was the point?
You were stuck with this weird family that treated you like you were five.
Your parents sold you off because you were a burden.
What was the point?
Just as Enji had said, your knees crumpled beneath you but instead of falling to the ground, you stayed held up in Rei’s arms and she slowly lowered you both to the ground.
A smile bloomed upon her face when your breathing evened out, head rested in her lap with a tear-stained face.
You’d be sad for a little while, but that didn’t matter.
Your new parents would help you out.
You’re the baby after all.

"You chose them over me!" Deep turquoise eye bore so deeply into mine, the pressure on my chest, in my heart, seemed to increase.
"I didn't chose anyone over you Touya", anger, misplaced anger, seeped out of my word "I didn't even know you were alive!" A sob escaped me, which made the current situation so much more real. it had been years.. years of pain, thinking he was dead. How dare he? How dare he imply I chose anything in this situation, I chose the option that would have kept me closer to him. When he was dead.
"We have marks with each others names, we feel what the other feels", he took exasperated steps towards me getting closer and more menacing as he got closer, the feeling of safety slowly washing off me, would he hurt me? would he kill me? "You're gonna look at me in the eye, and tell me, you didn't know I was alive?"
The question was one that burned inside me, ever since I found out he was alive, and it killed me knowing that he wasn't only alive, but with the villains, it drove me crazy and I could barely sleep. I wondered during the years why occasionally I would feel things that were simply not my own; but how was I to know? He was dead, it was a fact, he died in his fire!, so young, faking your own death that young wasn't realistic to think about. I didn't... other than sudden anger, sadness and occasional pleasure, the feelings didn't range far or even often.
"I didn't! I really didn't know, had I know ANY of this, I would hace been on your side no questions asked," I pulled my legs closer to me, the fight we had engaged in didn't fair well on my body. The burns from his fire were negligible, the burn from my own ice, though, if not treated soon could start causing decay "You think I wanted to sit by and let him do any of those things to Shouto? That it brought me pleasure in any way to say your mother hospitalized? Natsuo and Fujumi so neglected?" The tears finally started pouring out, this was emotionally too much, hopelessness and guilt was bubbling up and started to eat me inside "I don't care anymore, just, kill me if you have to"
The Todoroki's took me in, not because of me but because of him, for him. They swore he would have wanted me to be a part of their family, all the other soulmates of their kids were just as welcomed. Enji took it upon himself to look for all their kids soulmates, as soon as posible. We all knew how.... intense, Enji Tododroki could be, but we stayed for our soulmates. They weren't a perfect family, or even a good one; but I wanted Touya with me so badly, and his family was all that was left; his grave, his shrine, I needed him and I couldn't have him. Now what? It seems I never had anything of his at all.
"I'm not going to kill you" he said while slowly crouching down ro my eye level, the fire in his hand slowly being put out; the look in his eyes wasn't the thing giving his emotions away but the bond we had, I understood the resignation and the conflict happening in his heart "but, we are in a bit of a bad situation right now, doll" I swallowed thickly and rested the back of my head in what was left of the concrete wall behind me.
"I'm not leaving the kids to be killed" I said after a moment of silence, having had to steel my mind and build my resolve; making sure I understood what I was potentially giving up.
"I'm not going to leave the league" he replied after a deep breath, and I could hear the same resolve in his voice.
and, there in lies our problem.
I straightened up my head to look at him again, his hands reaching to the ice around me, I assumed to melt it "don't... it hurts"
He looked up at me and stopped, taking a quick Look over me. "You have to do something about the ice, or you'll be short an arm and maybe a leg"
The cold was starting to set, over my body, and as usual it started to build in my extremities, I could barely feel my nose and my fingers anymore.
I ignored him, the current situation not leaving my mind at all, my injuries could wait "What do we do?"
"What we've been doing", he hesitantly reached to touch my cheek, providing much needed warmth, his thumb lightly brushing my nose "I'm dead, sweetheart" He proceded to hold my hands for a while, and I wished the warmth building up in my body could stay forever.
he immediately stepped away from me the moment we could hear running, signaling that there were heros were here "Your helps here," he said something to himself and slowly he was swallowed by some black goo "Don't die on me, I gotta see you at the end of this, however that goes"
_____________________________________________________________
One years before
I casually walk into endeavors hero agency, waving at the receptionist at the entrance of the building, taking notice of how I was being watched by people outside the glass of the building, being the one member of the agency to not hold a fire quirk, I was special, but not really; it provided a little bit of hope to the heroes in training that wanted to be hired and didn't have a fiery quirk, even if me being here was nothing less of nepotism, but I owed Endeavor a lot and I couldn't refuse.
Once I made it to the elevator I made it all the way to my desk in autopilot, not taking much notice of the things going on around me.
"Blue Bird!" I looked up and spotted the blond hair before anything else.
"Hawks" I roll my eyes at him and placed my coffee on my desk, avoiding the recognizable load of paperwork. What was he doing here anyway? I knew about the whole forced partnership with Hawks and Endeavor, but he was rarely at the agency.
The idea of him constantly calling me blue bird was getting old, my lack of a surviving soulmate didn't really made me deserving of the name. Enji Tododroki had done everything for me he possibly could, starting with proving me with a connection to my lost soulmate their family dynamic fucking sucked, ass, but I felt part of the family; and it was the one connection I could have with Touya, since he clearly wouldn't be around. Ever.
Fuyumi and Shouto had also had their soulmates brought into the fold, as soon as Enji could find them. We hadn't been able to find Natuo's yet, but he assured the process was ongoing, until they were found.
I was found shortly after Touya died, I never even got to see him alive. I hated the feeling, especially because sometimes I felt the delusion that maybe he was out there, but I didn't ever allow myself the thought, or it would kill me.
I look up at the winged hero carefully studying his stance, a mischievous bright smile on his face, as usual "Anything I can help with? Endeavor is out on patrol, I don't know when he'll back but I can tell you where he is if you'd like?" I went to sit down on my desk to look for the information I had just offered, before I could grab the chair to sit down I was stopped by a bright red feather in my line of sight.
"I didn't come looking for Endeavor, I can go to his secretary for that, or easily look for him myself" He walks closer to my desk looking it over carefully "I heard you were starting at UA soon, for a new 'alternative strategy' class?" I looked at him, with a confused look, what could he possibly want with me or UA, if he was scouting a student he could simply... call them? The sudden serious look he showed was making me uneasy.
"Yeah, I am. What about it?"
"You can't do that"
"Excuse me?" The finality of his statement, made the uneasiness grow even stronger, tension creeping up my shoulders, the situation. starting to make my soulmate mark itch.
It wasn't common the #2 Hero came over to you and said you couldn't take a job offer. UA seriously needed to teach alternative methods of taking down a villain that didn't just rely on their quirks. I as the person who suggested it in the first place, besides, Endeavor had said nothing of the sort. why would I listen to him?
"I don't think it's safe" He finally responded, after seeming to return from deep though
"Thank you so much for the concern Hawks, really, but I can handle myself" I finally looked away from him and proceeded to start on my paperwork. I just need to finish this and I can start the lesson plans " I already know it's not safe, for the kids, it's the whole reason why I took the job" The tension wasn't leaving, and the fact he stayed didn't help either, I could feel his eyes on my arm, where "Todoroki Touya" was permanently burned into my skin.
"I don't think it's safe" I continued to read over the documents, writing where I needed. The tension bubbling up every milisecond that he didn't drop the subject.
"Endeavor would've said something if he thought there would be an issue" I replied nonchalantly, feeling the pressure starting to bubble over.
Wasn't that this morning? hough to myself as I tried to remember when the specific event cited in the document happened.
"I still don't think it's safe" I sight and stare at him, not replying
...Bubble
"This whole thin is too dangerous, and the kids know enough to protect them" I could feel my brow tense my eyes not moving from his feature, the way he was looking me adding irritation
...Bubble...
"The league is everywhere, and their plans aren't pretty, I can't protect you if you're in the fire already" I attempted to take a deep breath, to calm myself down, feeling heat in my cheek slowly creeping up my arm, forgetting to remind myself to cool myself down in these situations.
Bubble... bubble...
"you're my best friend, and besides my soulmate, I don't really have many people I love" he said, almost pleading.
Bubble... Bubble...
POP!
I felt a strong heat settle on my face, the tension that bubbling up turning into anger, as I slammed the fancy black pen on my desk, reminding me seconds before, to cool down "For fucks sake, Keigo, what the HELL is this really about" The sound of glass hitting the floor and scattering filling the sudden silence between us, I closed my eyes tightly, in exasperation. Control your quirk, idiot. Before I opened my eyes I could feel the freezing cold coming from my desk sight and looked over the icy surface of my desk At least I didn't melt it.
"I'm not trying to undermine you, I know you're a very capable hero"
Hawks and I had became very unlikely friends as soon as we started hero work. I had studied at UA, after getting in from Endeavor's recommendation, hawks and I became really good friends after taking the hero licensing exam, teaming up every once in a while, and being on a coffee outing when he though he had found his soulmate
"Hawks, honestly, you can tell me my death is assured, and I am still doing it. I didn't get my hero license to hide when it's dangerous" I placed my hand on my desk relaxing as much as I could to melt the ice without hurting the structure of my desk "besides, I need something to keep me alive, I'm 22 and I already have half of me ripped away, please, just, let me do this? I would want to see a group of kids hopeful for their futures"
His smile didn't return, which meant he wasn't done, or something was still on his mind; maybe he was debating on saying it or not "The league has a weird focus on Endeavor, and I'm worried about you birdie"
I narrowed my eyes, anger or frustration, I don't know what I was feeling, but what was he trying to imply here "I can take care of myself"
"The protection at UA is for the students, not the teachers, who protects you?"
"Drop it Keigo, enough" I wiped the condensation in my desk, finally resolving the problem I caused, I only had to give it a couple minutes to dry "I'm not refusing the job at UA" I looked over his arm, carefully, protectively hiding his soulmate name. I didn't know her name, but I know her quirk, Levitation, just because he was kind enough to tell me about it in one of our outings a couple years ago.
"I want to finish my paperwork, so I can finish my lesson plans for next week, feel like allowing me to work, bird brain?" I allowed myself He stood up away from my desk and sight in resignation, his smile slowly returning.
"I'll drop in every once in a while," he turns around to leave and offers me a thumbs up "I'm sure it'll get the kids excited, and I'll ge to check up on you"
I smile and wave him off. Setting on a serious look when I saw him stepping out of the office.
I took a bite at the end of my pen, the feeling of Keigo hiding something from me settling deep within my soul, after finally looking at the interaction. My best friend, the second best hero in the country, sneaky, cunning, careful planner as he is, hiding something from me, and being worried that the league of villains could try something against me... that doesn't give me a bad feeling.... not at all.

Breaking The Ice
Shoto Todoroki x fem reader
A/n: Characters are aged up
Tumblr media
You and Todoroki never argued. There's was never anything to argue about. He loved you and you him. You trusted him and him you. Throughout all those years you two have been together, from being boyfriend and girlfriend in UA to being husband and wife, fights have never been an issue.
Enji Todoroki has always been an issue though. He never approved of you in fact you're sure he hates you. Todoroki says he does not care what he thinks but there are times where it doesn't seem that way. Your huge fight was about that, the disrespect you get.
You both said shit you didn't mean. It sounds so cliché but its true. Anger is a powerful emotion that makes you do and say stupid shit. He called you a pain in the ass for thinking he sides with his father, and you called him weak for not being able to put him in his place. So, with that for the past two days there's been a thick atmosphere when you guys are together.
You guys are married and you work along side him at his agency. You're together 24/7. The tension was always there and neither of you did anything to break it.
Even the number 1 hero, Deku, felt so uneasy when he walked into Shoto's office happily only to be met with an atmosphere thicker than quicksand. Apparently, there's been a villain on the lose for the past few days and there's difficulty tracking him and taking him down. They need both you and your husband to help with the situation. You both agree and thank Midoriya and then go back to doing paperwork.
That night and for the last two its just been eating in silence for dinner, doing your nightly routines alone, and wishing each other a cold "good night" before falling asleep. How long will this last?
The next day, you both go off to work to finish your paperwork and then go out to patrol the city in hopes to capture this villain. There hasn't been any sightings of him for a while and the city has been growing restless for this. You yourself didn't like that this villain still hasn't been caught and is running lose like a dog. You're sure Todoroki also hates the situation as much as you do. You both don't say much to each other, but you've learned to read his face and body language.
Before long the sun begins to fall and the stars start to shine. You and Todoroki are headed back to his agency. You're walking behind him its officially been three days since you both had that nasty fight. You look up at him, his half red half white hair blowing in the wind and his broad shoulders moving back and forth with every step he takes. You miss him, you wish you could just go back in time and prevent this avoidance from ever happening.
You sigh and muster up the courage to tell him how sorry you are but before you could do anything he stops walking causing to you to stop in your tracks. You're confused why did he stop out of nowhere?
"Shoto? Are you ok?" you ask quite worried.
Shoto turns around to look at you. Your (e/c) eyes looking back at his. It's been a while since Shoto has seen them under the moonlight. He turns his full body towards you. "Y/N" he says apologetically.
Out of nowhere there's an explosion behind you. causing the city to cry and scream in fear. You both turn to look at the cause of the explosion. There he is the villain who's been disrupting the lives of the innocent. He's covered in straps full of bombs for weapons and takes a little one off his belt. He laughs manically and throws it a child who's crying in fear. You however, thanks to your speed, were able to get the child out of harms way and get him to his mother. Where they run safe.
That was a child! Oh, now he's in for it! You've always had hatred for those who harm children. You speed off toward the villain and begin to attack him with your strength. Todoroki caught on and also began sending ice attacks to the villain. You and your husband have always made a great team, you distract the enemy (sometimes land a few good hits) while he burns them up or freezes them or does both even.
You guys had things under control but the suddenly he disappears. An invisibility quirk! That's why he's been so damn hard to track! Now you break in a sweat. Invisible people have always been difficult to fight against they can easily attack out of nowhere. You stay alert and sure enough the villain sends a punch your way from behind, but you were fast enough to block it with a force field. However, the pressure from his punch sends you flying back and causes you to hit one of Todoroki's ice walls. You land on your back hard resulting in a crater being made in the ice and you falling unconscious. Your vision becomes blurry, and you fall down to the ground.
The villain groans "Stupid bitch." to your unconscious body and walks away.
Todoroki saw the whole thing happen with wide eyes. You laying down hurt brought flashbacks of his mother laying on the ground after his father hurt her. His damn father. He looked at the villain who's back was facing him. The villain had the same built as his father. Then he looks back at you. He hurt you and now he is furious!
"Hey!" Todoroki says clearly adding anger to his tone. The villain turns to look back at him with blue eyes. The blue eyes that are the exact same as his father. A flashback of Enji Todoroki disrespecting you came back to Todoroki. That bastard!
"NO ONE!" he yells and sets fire on the villain's right arms causing the bombs to blow up, making the villain scream in agony.
Todoroki's teeth are gritted hard. "DISREPECTS!" he yells setting the villains other arm on fire causing the bombs on that arm to go off.
The villain is about to run away but Todoroki wastes no fucking time. With one final breath he yells at the top of his lungs "MY WIFE!!" and with that he sets the villains whole body on fire causing to bombs to explode on him.
There is smoke everywhere, the villain is still standing in it but not for long when Todoroki appears with his Ice and freezes the damn villain. The fucking villain that has hurt so many innocent people including his wife.
Then it's over.
You open your eyes and see that Todoroki has handled the situation. You sit up with a hurt head. The scenario in front of you shows just how strong Todoroki is. The whole scene was due to Todoroki defending you and speak of the devil there he is making his way towards you.
"My love! Are you alright?" he asks crouching down to holding you.
You lay you head on his chest "Yes, I'm ok don't worry" you smile. Todoroki smiles back at you before picking you up bridal style to help you get to the paramedics while giving you a kiss to your forehead.
Afterwards, you were able to go home from the hospital and Todoroki has taken good care of you the entire time. He's been treating you like you were royalty or something. Like, it's not that unusual but recently he's been acting like he would die if he didn't treat you like so.
He comes into your shared bedroom with a comb in his hands. He's smiling and sits next to you "I got it, now, turn around my love." You do as your told and he begins brushing your hair gently.
He continues to brush your hair for a while, both of you sitting in comfortable silence before you finally begin to speak. "Shoto, I'm really sorry about how I treated you the other day." you say causing your husband to stop.
You continue "You're not weak. That's not what you are at all and that is proven by how you handled that villain attack." You think about how you passed out during the fight, how maybe Enji Todoroki is probably right, and tears begin to fall. You speak with a shaky voice "Maybe your father-"
"No"
No? He repositions you to face him and holds both your hands. He looks in your eyes "Listen to me, I don't care what my old man says or thinks. I love you so much and if he never approves then he can suffer for all I care." He wipes away your tears before continuing to speak "My love, I'm so sorry for calling you a pain in the ass you are far from being that you're my beautiful princess, and I'm also sorry not sticking up for you the way I should've." The scene of you landing on his ice comes back to him. "Believe me when I say I will never let anyone disrespect you ever again. Ok?" You're shedding more tears but Todoroki smiles and wipes those away too. "You deserve the best my love." he say holding your face.
"Thank you." is all you say before you lean into him for a kiss to which he happily returns.

Redemption
Todoroki Clan x Todoroki reader
Synopsis: You're the twin sister of Shoto and save him and Endeavor from Toya.
Warnings: violence, profanity, unstable family, trauma.
Words: 2k
Tumblr media
Being the daughter of a superhero came with a heavy burden to carry. But being Endeavor's daughter was what made it that much harder. The ambitious and hostile man managed to destroy the mentality of almost the entire family.
Your deceased brother, a psychologically unstable mother, and even the insecurities created at home were his fault, and his alone. But even knowing that, all the cruelty he did to you and your siblings, even after all the horrors, all you wanted was to see him proud for just a moment.
Your Quirk gave you the ability to control and create water. And to say this was a surprise was an understatement. You remember well when the first traces of your powers started to show, you were only 4 years old at the time. A brief trip to the doctor had made everything clear, it was as if her parents' powers had merged into one. While his twin brother Shoto had the ability to control both ice and fire, in you they manifested together. The heat of your father's fire nullified the ice of your mother's power, resulting in a Water Quirk.
Your father didn't meet many people with quirks similar to yours during his lifetime, so his ignorance of your powers allowed you much more freedom than Shoto to explore your abilities on your own. As he didn't understand, he preferred to leave you aside, focusing on training Shoto.
Your father became completely obsessed with making your brother a hero that surpassed All Might. The little attention you received from him in childhood, in the first few years after discovering your powers, is totally gone with the passage of time. You suspect he was only interested at first because he was perplexed by your quirk, it was pure passing curiosity.
The memories you have of your father are mostly painful. You always tried to maintain a relationship with him, to get closer to him. Even when everyone was revolting against the man, you kept your criticisms of him to yourself and stood by him. Sometimes when you had your moments alone, you felt terrible for trying to defend him, when all your dad did was look down on you. You were stupid, he was right about that.
You always dedicated a gift to your dad on his birthday, Father's Day, Christmas. On all the damn dates, but he didn't give a shit about you or your birthday. You don't know why you care so much about pleasing him, about making him proud. It didn't make any sense. Your rational side told you to ignore it and move on, but your emotional and dumb side told you to try. Trying to be the child he wanted so much, but you never quite knew how to do it.
08/08, 21:47 - Enji's birthday.
You were in the living room watching TV while waiting for your dad to come home. You had spent all morning preparing his birthday present.
At the age of 8, your grammar was not the best, so you asked your older siblings to help you write a letter. Natsuo scowled and strongly refused to help you, which made Fuyumi scold him for the way he spoke to you.
But your sister, sweet and kind, sat with you at the kitchen table to help you write. At the time you noticed the sad looks she gave as you put the beautiful words addressed to Enji on paper.
Shoto didn't mind helping you color a drawing that went with the letter, he even had a little fun in the process and made you finish the gift faster. You thought your dad would be sad that no one got him a present, so you did your best to make one.
You went over your bedtime just to hand him the gift. You've been waiting for him to walk through the door while watching a show on television. And as soon as you heard the lock on the door being unlocked, you jumped off the couch in excitement.
You ran up to him and stopped in front of him as you held out the gift.
"Daddy, look. Happy birthday! I made it myself!" Fuyumi gave a slight smile upon hearing your little lie, but she really didn't care. She thought it was cute, actually.
Enji took a good look at what you had and took it out of your hands. You watched excitedly as he opened it and skimmed through the contents in silence.
"So this is the kind of crap you waste your time on, y/n?" you immediately got scared after his scolding.
"While you could be training to get stronger, would you rather distract yourself with crude drawings?"
Natsuo bristled with shock upon hearing his father's words. And your brother was very, very furious, but remained silent, just like Fuyumi. He mentally thanked Shoto for already sleeping. Both your siblings were so sorry for you. How dare he say those things after all the dedication you've put into it? Fuyumi felt terrible remembering the words full of love you wrote in the letter.
"Don't give me more stuff like that again. Don't waste your time with trifles, that makes me waste my time too." He crumpled up the drawing and letter in one of his fists and threw them into the kitchen wastebasket.
By this time the tears were flowing freely from your eyes. Were you a waste of time? Is that what he said? When the first sobs were heard Natsuo took one of your little hands and decided that it would be better to put you to sleep, he imagined that this way you would forget and wake up better the next day. But he knew it was going to hurt you for a long time.
But right now, at this very moment, you've seen an unseen version of your father. Dabi's revelation caught everyone off guard. Was he Toya? Was Dabi your brother that everyone thought was dead? Endeavor always saw you and your siblings as a mere enterprise, but you noticed he didn't look at your big brother like that now. You saw in his startled look that there was feeling there. He was always such a serious and intimidating man, that seeing him completely frozen hit you hard. You thought you'd never see him so vulnerable.
"Toya!" You screamed and cried for him to stop. You were a baby when he left, but remembering the pictures of him as a child in the family albums and seeing him like this now, a murderer... He didn't deserve this, nobody did. You begged, but he wouldn't stop. "Please!" You wanted him to look you in the face, you wanted to stop everything to hug him. How was it possible to miss someone you barely knew so much? He was your family, your brother. He was alive, this was supposed to be a happy moment, it's not fair.
And as Toya leapt up in a rage to attack Enji, to finally get his revenge, you just wanted your father to move.
"Daddy!" Your hoarse cry was chilling. Bakugou and Deku immediately looked at you in your chaotic state, completely desperate. Meanwhile Endeavor felt his body turning cold, his heart stopping to pump the blood to the necessary places, he didn't want to believe that that was Toya. Alive. It seemed that there was nothing around him, he could only focus on him. He couldn't hear anything else, everything was muffled.
He's going to kill Dad and Shoto.
He's going to kill them and I can't let him.
Move on! Move, dammit! You wanted to move so badly, but your legs wouldn't obey. You wanted your father to do something, but even you can't move your fingers.
Weak. You were a disappointment. You can't do anything.
But then your body decided to take action. And you started to run to them, to save them. You felt your breathing fail and your diaphragm lock, your lungs no longer moved, only your legs. All your energy had gone into your feet. You can't pass out, it's such a short race. Just get out there and help them. And as you ran to your brother and father, Shoto noticed you coming closer with tears cascading down your cheeks.
"Y/n!" Your twin screamed angrily, but you knew he wasn't mad at you, he was scared. "Get away from here!" Both of your hearts fluttering. Him fearing for you and you fearing for them.
Shoto had already given up trying to make Enji react and when he was going to try to stop Toya on his own before you reached them, it was too late. Were you that close? How did you get there so fast? It was the adrenaline speaking for you, taking over your body and giving you strength you didn't know you had. For just a second he looked away. For a second he took his eyes off yours, and when he was about to look at Toya in front of him, he was already seeing you again. You two.
Shoto and Endeavor saw Toya being enveloped by a large wave of water that pushed Dabi back and protected them from the attack.
You made the water come together in a big bubble that enveloped you and Toya. You wanted to break out of the bubble and leave him trapped until him passed out without air, but you felt afraid to pass out first with the panic you were feeling. You tried to take the bubble away, but he was getting close to you. You tried to reduce the bubble's diameter to escape and get some air, but it seems that you didn't have the strength to do that anymore. You can only hold the water there.
Toya watched you. Silly little sister, he thought sadly. why would you do that? After everything Endeavor has done to you. After everything that monster did, what were you doing here? He needed to escape, he needed to breathe. He was going to get his revenge, but you were standing in his way. And if he needed to step over you to get to your dad, he would. He let the blue flames flow through his hands, the heat boiling the water, and both you and he were going to suffer for it.
"Father!" Shoto yelled at Endeavor, rousing the paralyzed statesman to see his two childs struggling. "He's killing her!"
You didn't resist the high temperature for a long time. Toya was already used to the burns, it wasn't even a pinch for him. You weakened and the water dissolved all at once, and you both stumbled gasping for air. Your skin was red and burning like hell. You wanted to scream in pain.
You were weak. You couldn't even do a simple thing. You just needed to hold it for a few seconds and get out of there.
Your breathing hadn't worked for a long time, it was a surprise that you managed to make all that effort in this state. What a horrible time to have an anxiety attack.
Everything was going dark and the last thing you saw was a burning Toya coming at you with a murderous glare. Enji couldn't believe it, all this happened right in front of him, and he didn't do anything. He let Toya hurt you and did absolutely nothing.
As soon as Endeavor saw his son come to you, he prepared to face Toya. Shoto immediately rushed to attack him and get you away from him. Enji wasn't going to allow you to die, he wasn't going to allow Dabi to kill you. For your and Toya. For his children.
Toya grabbed Shoto and started to increase the flames around they two.
"The favorite son killed by the loser!" Dabi laughed like crazy as he held Shoto tighter burning them both. But someone stopped Dabi before he committed a greater tragedy.
Best Jeanist immobilized him and took him away from the twins. And Endeavor, even though he was no longer paralyzed, did nothing.
You protected him and Shoto. That was the last thing he remembered as he opened his eyes and found himself face to face with a white ceiling.

Convincing Enji to sit down on your lap was no easy task.
It took days of persuasion for him to even entertain the idea.
He was much bigger than you and he didn’t want to hurt you accidentally by putting his weight on you.
So when he finally agreed to sit down on your lap he was rightfully embarrassed, he still slightly hovered over you so as to not put his entire weight onto you.
He wouldn’t openly admit it but it felt nice when you put your hands on his waist and gave him a gentle squeeze with a smile on your face.
It took many more attempts of Enji half-sitting on your lap for you to convince him to finally set his entire weight on you.
“Are you completely sure that this is okay?”
He was hovering over you, his knees on either side of your legs.
“For the hundredth time Enji, it’s fine if I can’t handle it I’ll make you get off.”
He searched your face for any sign of apprehension and found none.
“Okay, but remember you asked for this.”
Enji sighed and took a deep breath as you excitedly sat down and got comfortable before gently placing your hands on his waist.
He silently cursed your enthusiasm as he bit his lip.
He lowered himself and slowly seated on your lap.
Already you can feel the pressure of his weight pressing down on your thighs.
You had to work hard to control your breathing as he fully seated 260 pounds of pure muscle on you.
He felt as you started squeezing his waist and saw how you pressed your face into his abdomen letting out small grunts.
“This was a mistake, I told you I’m too heavy.”
Enji moved to stand up but your hands gripping his waist prevented him from doing so Instead, you pulled him closer forcing him to continue straddling your lap.
“(Y/N) what are you—!” He couldn’t finish his sentence as he let out a gasp and he felt something hard poke his ass.
He froze as he processed what had just happened.
Enji looked down at you and saw your flushed face as you proceeded to grind your hips up pressing your hard cock against Enji’s ass.
Enji bit his lip as your cock brushed against his clothed hole and got an idea this was your idea, to begin with so he was sure you didn’t mind if he just…
You groaned even louder, the wind almost being knocked from your lungs when he braces his large warm hand on your shoulders and ground his hips down onto your cock adding more of his weight down onto you.
But his suspicions were correct when you made no move to push him off and instead lowered your hands to his ass to press even closer into him pressing Enji’s now hardening cock into your lower abdomen.
“Oh god, Enji!”
You moaned between pants and gasped as he slowly rocked his hips, the pressure almost unbearable in the best way possible.
But you were still conscious of the fact that you were the only one being pleased so you slid your hands from gripping his ass and brought them up to his chest grabbing at them and squeezing his nipples through his shirt drawing out quiet moans from the man above you as he straddled your lap.
Enji gasped when you slid his shirt up to latch onto his nipple with your mouth. Your hot tongue brushed over the sensitive bud as you toyed with the other with your fingers.
He pressed his chest closer to your mouth as he ground his hips down harder into yours.
He was distantly aware that he was applying too much pressure to your lap but his head was hot and hazy from the pleasure that he couldn’t think straight.
All he could focus on was your hot mouth sucking and biting marks onto his sensitive nipples and your hard cock roughly grinding into his ass.
Your hands pressed his pecs together as you licked a fat stripe against his chest, you could feel your legs tingling as you endured Enji relaxing and finally putting most of his weight on you.
Hearing Enji moaning above you as you attack his nipples, the taste of his skin, rutting your leaking cock against your ass as he desperately ground himself against you. It was intense. All of these factors just pushed you closer to the edge and from the way Enji rutted against you you could tell he was too.
“Fuck, you feel amazing, Enji!”
Enji was glad no one was home so no one could hear the embarrassing noises he was making.
“Y-you’re enjoying this too much.”
His words betrayed his actions as he pressed his chest closer to your face chasing more of his own pleasure.
This was even better than you imagined.
You had fully expected the immense pressure of Enji sitting on your lap to overwhelm you and regret it.
But even though you could feel your legs tingling from lack of blood flow you felt the burning pressure of your climax approaching embarrassingly quickly.
“E-Enji I’m gonna...”
He felt you readjust your grip on his waist and shuddered when you began to grind even harder, your pace unsteady and desperate.
“Go ahead, boy.” He growled in your ear as he placed a large hand on the base of your neck to push your face into his chest. “Cum.”
And that’s all it took for you to let out a muffled moan into his chest as your seed painted the inside of your underwear.
You gave shallow thrusts to chase the pleasure until you slumped, breathless from one of the best orgasms you’ve had in a while.
And judging from the wet spot you can feel on your abdomen, Enji enjoyed it as much as you.
Enji smoothed the hair stuck to his forehead back.
“Are you happy now?”
You grinned lazily looking up at him from his chest.
“Very, I just can’t feel my legs.”
Enji stiffened when he looked down and realized that in his haze he put his entire weight down on you, effectively crushing your lower half.
He quickly jumped up and watched as you fell back on the bed with a soft groan, from the friction of your clothes against your sensitive cock and the feeling of blood flowing back into your legs.
After a moment you propped yourself up on your elbows to look at Enji who sat next to you on the bed and looked at you with concern.
“We should do that again.”
Enji sighed and shook his head.
He should’ve known you would enjoy having him crush you.

notes: tbh I've been meaning to repost this and since I'm currently in my "yes girl give us nothing" era, the time has come. Thank you to everyone (then and now) that has read this baby bc I did indeed put my ol' Kendussy into it so I didn't really change anything about it other than fixing grammar and I'm sure there are still mistakes. This is is how I wrote a year ago and that's okay and I'm proud of how far I've come.
Posting this as a double feature bc it feels too idk self promo-y to split them up again so enjoy my creature feature with my beloved Natsuo and his stinky brother. chain divider thanks to @/cafekitsune ♡

The large, red letters across the paperwork make your eyes hurt by simply gazing at them.
“RELEASED” stamped with what you can tell was a mostly dried out ink pad, the red darker at the beginning of the word than at the end. You wish you could close the growing pit in your stomach knowing Natsuo will soon arrive back to your home, rehabilitated brother in tow, but the uncertainty makes it hard to settle as you re-stack the documents given to you by the Hero Public Safety Commission when they formally announced they would permit Touya’s release so long as someone would be responsible for him.
When the conversation came up, Natsuo volunteered without a second thought. It hurt at first that he did not ask you before making the decision but after having spent nearly a decade at his side, you trusted his judgment. Six months after the initial inquiry, you still do. Touya is a practical stranger, someone you have only met through grainy video chats, but you have been briefed by many HPSC coordinators. They have conducted home visits, interviewed both of you as if you were the criminals, combed through every bank account and piece of mail to ensure that they are putting their inmate into good hands. A good word from Endeavor, something your husband reluctantly accepted, sealed the decision. Your eyes scan over the handwritten letter from Enji, tucked in the stack of documents.
“No one is more qualified to care for his brother Touya than my son Natsuo. He is a licensed medical professional, specializing in psychology and mental health services and has experience in dealing with traumatized children. I ask that the Commission consider no other placement for Touya.”
A tired sigh escapes as you flip through a few more pages, squinting through descriptions of you and Natsuo. Your personalities, your hobbies, where you work, who you associate with - all vital information, the panel assured you. The final page of the documents has the official ruling, the top left corner of the page curled in from how many times the pair of you have read over it.
“Todoroki Touya, thirty two years of age, is to be released to the custody of his brother Todoroki Natsuo, twenty eight years of age. Todoroki will be required to wear a location monitoring device at all times per the agreed upon terms of release. He is not permitted to be in contact with any of his prior associates. If contact is initiated, he will be required to return to the custody of the HPSC immediately and will no longer be eligible for release.”
Your eyes scan the document again and again, searching for some kind of strange loophole that could prevent all of this from happening. Guilt crawls up your spine and makes you shudder at the thought. How could you not want this for your husband? He has spent years dreaming of having a second chance to love his brother differently, to help him heal. It makes you feel vile to even entertain negative thoughts about Touya.
Touya. You know little about the man aside from his name, or names, rather. His time as Dabi concluded, he was sentenced to 8 years of rehabilitation instead of prison. A victim of child abuse needed recovery, the commission reasoned, and they were willing to give him the space to do so within reason. The entire Todoroki family agreed with and supported the commission and their decision, his siblings and parents being granted permission to visit him if they chose to do so.
Natsuo went as frequently as possible, excitedly telling you how much his brother has improved after every visit, eagerness infectious. You listened to his every word, rapt, as he talked about how different Touya looked now that he was eating well, how far he had come, how he seemed emotionally stable for the first time in his life. Genuine excitement danced in his eyes at the thought of having his brother back, not a shell of a boy or a man. Not Dabi but Touya, someone who was cruelly taken from him when he was too young to fully understand why.
The true agony was seeing the metaphorical stitches ripped open, cruelly and callously. The entire country was witness to the explosive truth - Touya Todoroki was alive. Even Fuyumi with her limitless poise gnawed her lower lip hoping it would ground her enough that she could stay strong for everyone else. “I can handle this,” she assured you as you wrapped your arms around her shoulders the day after the video aired. She knew the person who would need you the most was her brother. Looks were deceiving - Natsuo was big and strong, a grown man, but his feelings were delicate. She trusted no one but you to look after him.
Natsuo had only asked you to be his girlfriend weeks before his brother revealed his true identity publicly. You will never forget the way grief was etched into all of his features, his strong brow downturned for weeks; retraumatized. It took every ounce of strength in his body to muster a smile, much less anything else, but he did it. For Fuyumi and Shouto, for his mother.
You can remember every moment of the years following Touya revealing himself. The nights when Natsuo woke up sobbing, burying his face into your chest and balling the fabric of your shirt up between his fists as if it would keep him from losing touch with reality completely. He stopped eating for days at a time, depression sinking him into depths he didn’t know existed. You were always there with a soothing touch and okayu, a rice porridge Fuyumi taught you to make for him.
“When Touya died, it’s all he would eat,” she explained. Your heart crumbled at the thought of a 13 year old version of your beloved future sister in law having to keep her 9 year old brother moving through the pain of loss. How did they keep themselves together?, you wondered more than once as she breezed through the difficult times with a tight smile.
The more you watched the man you love sink, the more conflicted you felt about Touya. Those feelings lingered even into today. Natsuo is healing, therapy and love and compassion all coming together to create a whole man instead of pieces of a hurt child in a big body, but you can’t help the simmering anger you feel when you think about watching him experience the hurt in real time. Some memories stay etched forever.
Natsuo continued to live despite the difficult times. You helped him study and make his way through medical school - a feat that he often credited you wholly for. It wasn’t true but the praise always feels good. Three years after Touya was sentenced, Natsuo opened his clinic that offers a variety of therapeutic services for children with difficult quirks or those who have suffered because of them. A year after that the two of you were married.
“I knew you were the one when you gave me a reason to keep trying,” he tearfully admitted as you exchanged vows during your small wedding ceremony. The details weren’t for everyone else to know, but the pair of you knew exactly what he was talking about and the admission still makes you feel weepy if you start to think about it for too long.
Love feels like too shallow of a word to explain how you feel about him which is why you agreed to this in the first place - your love for Natsuo is stronger than your distaste toward Touya. You remind yourself of the mantra as you hear voices outside of your front doorstep, one immediately recognizable as belonging to Natsuo. You stand and take a deep breath, composing yourself and closing the file folder on the table as the door opens and the two white haired men crowd into the small genkan, talking amongst each other.
“We’re here!”
A practiced, measured smile is what you can manage as you watch the situation carefully. Touya scratches the back of his head and offers a small and impersonal wave and you’re surprised by how different he looks. Thin but healthy, his skin grafts have been properly secured, his lashes are the same white as the ones that frame your husband's kind, gray eyes. The similarities between the two are striking but so are the differences - Natsuo greets you with a smile and a peck on your forehead and Touya glowers from the doorway.
“Welcome home, Touya,”
He looks around, eyes narrowed as he takes in the sights of your well lived in home. It reminded you eerily of the way the representatives from the commission sullied your safe place away slowly, searching every corner to make sure you would not enable any more bad behavior from the man standing in the doorway. Your home had only just begun to feel like yours again.
“Nice place. Guess that’s what being married to a doctor gets you.”
His crass comment made you feel stricken, flinching slightly as your practiced smile wavers. You aren’t Fuyumi, full of endless grace and forgiveness - you can’t fake it. You aren’t Natsuo who believes in the potential of people more than anyone you’ve ever met. You are you and right now you are angry. Clenching your fists in a way you hope is imperceptible, you fake a laugh and your husband looks at you with wide eyes, noticing your change in demeanor.
“Well, it’s your place too now. Guess that’s what being a doctor's brother gets you.”
Touya purses his lips and nods, arms folded across his chest. You look over his scars, his healed skin, his cold eyes. “Do you want to show him to his room, babe?” Natsuo asks, voice shaky, as if he’s anxious for your response. “I can find it myself,” Touya answers for you, heavy boots in his hands as he pads through your home toward where his room lies. You spent weeks helping Natsuo prepare it for him, filling it with photos and books to help him gain back the time he lost while he was away. The taste in your mouth is nothing short of bitter and sour as you think about it.
“I don’t know what that was about, I asked him no-,” you raise your hand, cutting your husband off mid sentence as your fake smile finally falls and gives way to a slight frown, corners of your mouth downturned. “Don’t worry about it.”
Tumblr media
Touya has always felt suspicious of you. Your intentions, your affections for his brother, your involvement with his family - it’s hard not to be uncertain about someone who fits so flawlessly in the dysfunctional outline created by being a Todoroki. What are you hiding? What do you want?
He tosses his boots down on the floor of the room at the end of the hallway. Instinctually, he knows this is his space. Covered with childhood photos of the Todoroki family, a quilt he received as a child covering the bed, he wants to be impressed with the effort put in but instead he feels hollow. This life never fit him in the first place, happy smiles for photos and dinners and whatever the fuck was expected of him, and now he had no choice but to live it.
It is a hell of a lot nicer than the four white walls that housed him for eight long years. The bed looks a lot more comfortable, he thinks as he settles down on the edge of it, lying back with his arms behind his head. Fixing his gaze on the ceiling, he takes a moment to think in the silence of the space. The entire car ride his brother talked about you and your life together. Touya eventually began to tune him out, watching the trees pass by the window with the occasional red light flashing on his monitoring anklet catching his attention.
Rehabilitated. The connotations of the word weighed heavily on Touya - one fuck up and it would be so easy for you to convice Natsuo to send him back. You could never understand him the way that his family does. You couldn’t forgive him the way they had either, something both of you would never communicate to each other.
“Hey,” Natsuo’s voice rasps from the doorway and Touya sits up slightly, grunting his response. “You like it alright?”
“It’s fine.”
Natsuo sighs, carefully entering the room and shutting the door behind him as he slumps down on the bed next to his brother, shoulders sagging beneath the weight of the huge change that has come over his otherwise peaceful life. “You don’t have to lie, Touya.”
Touya sits up, using his elbows to support his weight, and offers a half smile toward his brother. “I’m not lyin’, it’s fine. Just feels like too much.”
Natsuo nods, trying to tamp down his urge to play therapist instead of brother. It was something he did all too often growing up and probably why he has made fixing people his mission in life. Touya was no exception.
“It’s the least we can do. You’ve been through a lot.”
We, Touya thinks to himself. Always we. He wonders how much Natsuo has surrendered of himself for your sake. Does he have any hobbies besides being a doting husband? Is his world filled with anything besides this little bubble the two of you live in?
“Don’t act like she had anything to do with all of this, Natsu. I was released to you.”
Touya slips a hand in his jacket pocket and fishes around for his pack of cigarettes, popping one out of the packaging with expert precision and sticking it between his lips as his brother sits next to him silently. “Lemme guess, need to do this outside?”
Natsuo nods and Touya sighs, sliding off of the bed and leaving a rumpled quilt behind him. Heavy footsteps trail down the hallway as he peers into the kitchen and notices the backdoor, quietly slipping through it only to be met with a glowing red cherry on the other side, smoke streaming from your mouth as you stand with a cigarette between your fingers.
“Didn’t take you for the type,” he starts, pulling his lighter from his pocket and clicking it until a bright flame catches the cigarette dangling from between his lips. Once upon a time he would’ve just used his quirk but the prescription blockers he was given by court order prevented that. “All he ever talks about is how perfect you are.”
“Looks can be deceiving,” you shoot back, flicking your cigarette ashes onto the ground below before taking another drag.
The mutual distrust permeated the air between the two of you. Touya reminded you so much of your father in law it was like looking at another version of him. You reminded Touya of everything he hated about this world - false pretense and unattainable perfection. He doubts you have ever walked around without a hair out of place, a Todoroki would never.
“Any other deep dark secrets I should know before being trapped inside of this house with you 24 hours a day?”
You chuckle, dropping your cigarette on the ground and stomping it out, bending to pick up the butt once you’re done.
“Your brother won't let me drink anymore,” you start, hoping the vulnerability warms your brother in law. His steely gaze convinces you otherwise and you begin to walk away, arms folded over your chest with a cigarette butt in your fist. “Just another fun part of the aftermath of your little warpath.”
Touya knows he fired the first shots but he’s taken aback at your accusatory tone.
“Anything else you want to question me about? Figured the commission briefed you on all of my dirty laundry.”
He shakes his head and exhales smoke through the corner of his mouth, the plumes drifting in your direction. “Good chat, Touya.”
The back door slams as you enter your home through it, windows rattling slightly. Your first instinct is to pour a drink but the reminder of your rock bottom lingers on your mind as you instead toss your cigarette in the trash and turn down the hall and head to your bedroom, Natsuo sitting on the bed.
“Why does he hate me so much?”
You hate how hysterical your voice sounds, anxiety rising like bile. Rising to his feet, your husband gathers you against his chest and presses a kiss to the top of your head.
“Give him time, he’ll warm up.”
You don’t share your husband’s boundless optimism as you hear the back door slam and hear footsteps heading to the bedroom opposite yours. Natsuo plants another soft kiss atop your hair and squeezes your hand gently as he walks back over to Touya’s room.
“You alright?” Natsuo asks and Touya rolls his eyes, shrugging off his jacket and draping it across a hook on the back of the door. “Fine. Thanks for the concern.”
Natsuo slips through the door completely and closes it softly behind him, leaning against the solid wood.
“What happened out there?”
Touya chuckles and shrugs, sitting on the bed in the same place he had left. “Nothing worth mentioning. I’ll make sure I keep my bottles hidden from her though.”
His eyes widened, Touya’s antagonistic tone nothing new, his shock coming from the fact you told him about your struggles with substance abuse in the first place. It wasn’t a secret but it certainly wasn’t a fun fact you gave out at trivia night.
“Uh, yeah, thank you.” Natsuo fumbles through his words, unsure of the right thing to say. “That would be great. She has come a long way but there are still times that are difficult, especially when big changes occur.”
Your substance abuse issues began about a year after your marriage. Blissful happiness wasn’t enough to numb the intense pain of the years prior but copious amounts of whiskey while Natsuo was busy with work were good enough. Blind confidence convinced you he didn’t notice a thing, not your sunken eyes or decreased appetite, but he did and he confronted you as gently as he could.
The next day you started therapy of your own and have continued to go to meetings for others struggling with addiction since then. Nothing drastic has happened in your life since you quit drinking, calm falling over the Todoroki household, making it easier for you to maintain your wits.
He would never say it but Natsuo truly worried about your sobriety. Every time he left for a trip or wine was passed around at family dinner, he wondered if it would be the day you changed your mind. Sticking with you was easy, though. You did the same for him at his low point and he would never stop doing it for you.
“She smokes, you know that?”
Natsuo nods, Touya’s raspy voice breaking the silence caused by his brother’s overthinking. “Have to let her have one vice, you know?”
Tumblr media
“I think you forget that you weren’t the only person who had to live through that fucking horrifying life! It didn’t just go away when you did.”
Your voice cracks as you raise it at your brother in law, his turquoise eyes wide as he watches you yell with an intensity that leaves your hands shaking. He has never looked more like your husband than he does now, the same white hair sticking up on top of his head, his fingers carding through it and yanking the strands as he paces your living room floor.
“There are times I don’t think you realize that your actions have always had consequences because you’ve truly faced so few of them,” you feel your face flame as Touya’s expression turns from surprised to angry. “You didn’t have to clean up the messes. I did.”
Seeing the similarities makes something inside of you crack, a piece of your heart perhaps, your chest heaving. Regret consumes your mind; you’ve gone too far. You struggle to catch your breath, rubbing your fingers over your cheeks to hide evidence of your tears. Silence blankets the room like a dense fog.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.”
Your voice sounds meek and thin even to your own ears, the screaming match you have been engaged in rendering your throat raw. Painfully, you swallow what little spit you can and shut your eyes tightly as you listen to Touya’s rhythmic footfalls. Taking a deep breath, you sink into an armchair and dab at your eyes with the back of your hands, opening them long enough to see Touya staring intently at you. You drop your hands and sigh.
“I can’t imagine what you have been through,” you hiccup, warm tears sliding down your cheek and dripping onto your wrists where they sit in your lap. “But you weren’t the only one going through it and I hope your brother can forgive me for saying all of this to you.”
The white haired man remains silent as you rise from your chair, hands balled into fists at your sides. Your gaze turns directly to him and you sniffle, tears subsiding.
“He has always loved you despite everything you’ve done, exactly as you are. Please remember that.”
The words feel cathartic to say aloud, astute eyes narrowing to watch you as you turn on your heel and begin to walk away. Your tense posture tells him exactly how you feel about the entire situation and you reason that giving Touya space seems like the best option to end the strange battle of wills the two of you have found yourselves in.
The gravelly sound of Touya’s voice from over your shoulder stops you in your tracks.
“Then I owe it to him to try.”
There is no apology to be found in the words but you swear you can feel it as he says them, looking over your shoulder. For the first time you don’t see Dabi or Touya, you see someone completely new - your brother in law. A blank canvas, someone you could perhaps get to know under better circumstances.
“We both owe it to him,” you respond as you turn around and make your way back to the chair you were sitting in moments ago, sitting stiffly against the back of the chair, shoulders still held tensely by your ears. “But how do we begin?”
Touya sighs and sits opposite you, rubbing his hands over his face as he rests his elbows on his knees.
“Hi, I’m Touya.” You laugh for the first time in a week and he can’t hide the half smile that comes across his face. “I did some fucked up things and spent eight years paying for them but I fucking love my family.” He stomps his foot, emphasizing his point. “That includes you now so we better get our shit together, yeah?”
Another tear falls as you nod, a watery smile settling over your features.
“Yeah, we should.”
Tumblr media
A year later, when you think of your brother in law Touya, a memory from your childhood comes to your mind.
You are six, maybe seven and at the zoo. Your parents hold both of your hands dutifully to make sure you don’t run off, squeezing your tiny palms between theirs as you excitedly gasp and croon at birds, snakes, and butterflies. A flamingo makes you shout, a duck makes you quack.
Steps slow down as the three of you approach a large glass enclosure. “Black panther - panthera pardus” says the sign extending from the ground in front of the glass. You don’t know that, of course, until your dad reads it aloud to you, asking you to repeat the name.
“Panthera,” you repeat, a tiny voice bouncing back at you off of the glass.
As if you summoned the cat itself, it appears and you flinch. Black, lithe, wild eyed with muscles wound so tightly you can see the shape and size of each of them. You wonder if the panther knows how to relax, the same way your mom tells you to when you cry too hard. Maybe he needs to take a deep breath.
“Why does he look so nervous?”
In your young mind, the question surfaced before you had time to think about it. Of course he’s nervous, you reason, all of these people are staring at him like the attraction that he is. A dazzling thing to see locked between four glass walls.
“He isn’t nervous honey, he’s probably just thinking about what he would do if he were outside with us.”
Pondering your mom's polite whisper, you nod and accept the answer. Grown ups always know best anyway.
As a keeper enters the enclosure and carefully stalks toward the cat, your eyes widen in surprise. How can he let someone so close? You wonder if you could ever get that close to him. To see the sunlight in his fur just enough to reveal the spots under the dark of his coat or to watch his ears twitch as he listens for sounds of danger. Would he ever trust you? Could you trust him?
The crowd around the glass increases in size, delighted whoops as the keeper dangles the cleaned carcass of a large bird above the panther. You drink in the way he crouches and springs, tight muscles unwinding for a moment as large paws capture the food between them.
A sight you’ll never forget.
A sight you see as Touya stalks through the living room of your home, tightly running his fingers through his hair. Muscles taut, standing and walking but trying to simultaneously fold in on himself.
“What the fuck would they even want to talk about?”
You sigh, shrugging at his words. The “they'' in question is the Commission and one year after his monitored release, he has been asked to return before the panel and answer some questions. Natsuo sits next to you on the floor in front of the chabudai, sorting through the papers sent to him to review ahead of Touya’s scheduled meeting. The three of you only found out about the date today.
“I dunno, Touya,” your husband shoots a bit impatiently toward his brother. “Let me read this and then I’ll tell you.”
Silently, you watch as he scans the documents, flipping them between his fingers. You hear the heavy pounding of Touya’s footsteps across the floor, reverberating through the otherwise silent room. Your house is too quiet. There is no crowd to filter out the silence.
“Potential restoration of privileges,” you hear Natsuo mutter from beside you. He continues to read to himself and you wonder what that truly entails. Would Touya be released from his supervised period completely? Would he be allowed to wander more than 50 feet away from his guardians?
“God Natsu, read faster.”
Natsuo’s eyes shoot a frosty glance toward Touya from over the top of the papers in his hands. Placing them on the table, your husband sighs.
“They want to see your progress and maybe give you a little more freedom.”
Touya freezes in place for a mere second before turning on his heel and rushing to the edge of the table to snatch the documents and look over them, brows furrowed in concern that this is some evil trick the two of you have decided to pull on him. Revenge for the last twelve months of him and his fits, his angry words, his snarling.
You’ve realized during the months he’s more meow than he is hiss.
“But,” Natsuo starts, clearing his throat, Touya tossing the papers back on the table and interrupting his brother with a clear as day “fuck!”, beginning to pace once again. “We have to give testimony.”
The royal we is something Touya has hated since the day he moved into your home. It always makes him feel as if it’s two against one, no separation between yourself and Natsuo and how you feel about the situation. He assumes if you’re mad at him, his brother is too. If you’re frustrated with Touya drinking the last of your nice matcha, Natsuo must be too. If you’re angry at Touya for dying his hair black in your bathtub and staining the shiny white tiles, Natsuo must be too.
He’s wrong about that, of course, his brother never holding any of his minor blunders against him. You don’t either but it would be tougher to convince Touya to believe that than it would be to build a house by hand, despite the tentative peace that exists between the two of you. You’ve allowed him into your home, your world, your once peaceful little family and have found that you are better for it. Natsuo is better for it. But there will always be a level of distrust.
Like that panther you think of so often, Touya must wonder what it would be like to be free and trusted.
“Touya, I don’t know how to say this,” Natsuo says, trying to keep his tone even and calm despite how anxious you know he must be feeling. You feel your stomach drop as well, balling the fabric of your linen pants between your palms to keep your hands from shaking. You looked at the date on the documents and noticed that it was a day you knew he’d be unavailable, working on a particularly tough case with multiple children from one family. “I can’t do it.”
Touya chuckles, a bitter and hollow sound that makes you flinch. “Of course not.”
“She can, though.”
Unexpectedly, Touya’s bitter chuckle turns into a belly laugh. You wonder if he’ll double over from the strength of it, scarred hands clutching his middle. Natsuo stands, approaching his brother carefully.
“Her?” He points at you and you feel like the one being questioned. Despite the grasp on the thighs of your pants, your hands do shake and your fingers slip. “She probably wishes I would have died every single day despite the little “play nice” bullshit she does for your sake.”
Gasping at the accusation, you hope he can’t see the way your eyes glance downward. You had assumed the two of you were past this, arguments coming to a halt around six months ago when you told him you simply didn’t have the energy for them anymore.
You then began taking him to pick up cigarettes every other day, riding in your car together silently but comfortably. His fingers always drum against his thighs impatiently and you clear your throat, mouth dry until you arrive. You have to be close to him the entire time but you linger on the edges of the small shop in your neighborhood, giving the elderly shopkeeper time to fuss over Touya the way he needs.
The two of you then silently ride back to your home.
“How could you say that, Touya?”
Much like the smaller version of you felt compelled to speak outside of the gleaming panther exhibit, you do the same now. Your voice sounds weak, thin, defeated. Natsuo rushes to your side, kneeling back down and placing one of his large arms around your shoulder.
“Oh here we go, gotta rush to defen -”
Touya’s words are cut off by a sharp glance from his brother, a look he has never seen before. Smothering all of the fire inside of him, hurting the one person who has endlessly forgiven him, he is doused by humility.
“I don’t hate you,” you look up and see Touya’s turquoise eyes that are narrowed and hard staring directly at you. “I don’t wish you were dead,” you continue as you shrug your husband’s arm off of you and begin to stand. “In fact, I was stupid and thought we were finally fucking past all of this!”
Punctuating your shout with a frustrated grunt, you stomp off down the hallway and leave the brothers to figure it out amongst themselves. Natsuo would simply have to find a way to make the date work for him because you couldn’t bring yourself to beg the Commission to be merciful toward someone who detests you so much. You aren’t a big enough person for that, lacking the careful compassion of your husband.
“Are you fucking serious, Touya?”
Natsuo cursing at his brother makes his steely gaze falter, eyes glancing downward toward the floor. Touya remembers a time you went too far, not long after he first moved into your home, and he feels guilty knowing he has done the same.
“Whatever,” Touya responds dismissively as he stomps off.
Natsuo hears the back door slam and rubs his hand over his face, eyes fluttering closed for a moment. He’s transported back to 12 long months ago when he didn’t even want to be in the same room as the two of you, the tension making him incapable of dealing with his own uncertainty about the ability to rehabilitate his brother.
As Touya steps outside into the cool air, far less suffocating than the inside of the house, he fishes around in his pockets for his lighter and mutters obscenities as he realizes it is inside. Of course, he still can’t use his quirk thanks to the very strong suppressants he has to take daily as part of his release, so he flings the door back open and stomps inside.
Hearing hushed muttering from the living room, he closes the door quietly and creeps to the doorway of the kitchen. He shoves himself against the wall, trying to hide from view as he hears your voice.
“I don’t understand why he won’t give me a chance, Natsu.”
His brother sighs and Touya sinks further against the wall. He knows the sound - fed up, frustrated, struggling. Natsuo is the last person he ever wanted to create those feelings in and shame, a bit of an unfamiliar feeling for him, creeps up his spine and makes his stomach turn.
“You didn’t exactly make the best first impression, of course he doesn’t completely trust you.”
Natsuo’s words make you blow out air in frustration. Touya can’t see you, but he imagines you look as downtrodden as you always have after these little battles. His brother’s defense of his behavior is surprising, though, and he idly rubs his thumb across one of the graft scars on his hands.
“I know,” you relent with a sniff. “I know.”
Your words shift Touya’s perspective, precious humility trickling over him and making his left eye twitch - a stress reflex he tried to hide for years.
You were the first person who noticed it and on your usual trip to the small store to pick up his cigarettes after, you passed him a box of anti-inflammatory medication and a bottle of eyedrops wordlessly as you buckled into your seat. He hasn’t twitched since.
Acknowledging the hurt you’ve caused is the first step of atonement, he remembers reading in a book Natsuo brought him while he was still locked up.
He peeks from around the wall, stretching his arms over his head and locking his fingers on the back of his skull, buried in poorly dyed black hair. Natsuo looks up through his light eyelashes at his brother who approaches carefully, settling on the opposite side of the table from where the pair of you sit.
“You can do it.”
The words are simple and cause both you and Natsuo to look up. Touya refuses to meet your puffy eyes and rises back to standing as quickly as he sat, slapping the tabletop once before skulking down the hallway to grab his lighter.
You and Natsuo resolve not to ask questions, with only two weeks until the panel meets time is of the essence and your testimony will be key to helping Touya if you choose to help him.
Tumblr media
Sitting in front of the panel is more nerve-wracking than you expected. A group of five familiar faces all staring at you with discerning eyes as you shuffle the hand-written pages of your testimony between your fingers.
These people have rummaged through your home on more than one occasion, interviewed all of your close friends and family, sifted through every piece of your dirty laundry and you’re at their mercy once again but this time you’re more willing.
“You may begin as you wish, Todoroki-san.”
Nodding respectfully toward the head of the panel, you clear your throat and exhale as you look down at the papers in your hands. You can feel Touya looking at you from across the room, Fuyumi and Shouto seated beside him and Rei on the other side of his sister, but refuse to look up at them for fear it’ll make the little courage you’ve summoned disappear.
“When Touya first moved into our home, I was uncertain of his ability to be rehabilitated.”
You spent the last two weeks reading this exact same speech to Natsuo, rehearsing it in your bedroom while pacing across the floor. The ink on the page is smeared in places from wet tears that dripped down onto the paper, black bleeding into blue and drying into rippled and raised spots. Those spots remind you of Touya, the way he has woven his way into part of your everyday existence.
“The process of allowing him into our lives felt very invasive. Respectfully, our lives were torn apart in preparation for him. Our home was combed through, our mail was intercepted, my husband was followed by a member of this committee on his way home from the clinic he tirelessly uses as a means to help others on more than one occasion.”
You keep your tone even to avoid sounding accusatory. These are all facts the Commission themselves have confirmed via their own documentation but standing in the face of the very force that can decide your future as well as Touya’s is more intimidating than you expected.
“The day Touya moved in, our lives shifted in a way that no amount of preparation could have made us anticipate. Difficult interpersonal dynamics forced us to take a good hard look at the future of our family and the future of what we desired for Touya. How did we want his rehabilitation to look?”
Taking a breath, you look up from the sheet of paper for a moment to meet Touya’s gaze and it strikes you as odd to see something almost tender. You sniff, nose twitching, vowing to hold yourself together until you’re alone or with Fuyumi or anywhere but sitting in front of people who have made their living off of judging, doling out punishment, changing lives for better or worse.
“While we’ve had many difficult times, I am not here to talk about the difficulty I caused Touya with my inability to coexist for the first several months. Rehabilitation takes a team and I was not a team player,” you pause and hear shuffling from the seats across the room. “Despite this, Touya has dedicated himself to improvement and has continually adhered to every request the commission put forth in the original terms of his release.”
While you don’t want to continue to air out your dirty laundry, there is a therapeutic feeling in knowing you’re publicly admitting to handling things wrong. In front of Natsuo’s family, nonetheless. Touya’s family. Your family.
At the end of this lies the fact that you are all a family and forgiveness is inherently woven through the relationships and bonds you share.
“It is the recommendation of both my husband and I that Touya’s privileges of release be expanded upon, including reduction of supervision and permission to travel to the homes of his mother and siblings independently if he chooses.”
Rising to your feet, you bow before the panel once more before walking toward the back of the room and quietly exiting as they take time to deliberate and make their decision.
Touya rises and comes to the front of the room, standing before them. He hates the way he feels, like a caged animal with his muscles tensed, in a suit that doesn’t even belong to him because why the fuck would he ever own a suit? The sleeves are too long, it is Shouto’s after all, and he pulls the cuffs over his hands with his thumbs.
The panel head speaks and the room is so quiet you’re even unnerved from the other side of the door. Pressing your ear to the wood, you listen.
“Our decision will not be immediate. You can expect further communication from the panel in the coming weeks. As of right now, your terms of release remain the same until you are otherwise notified. Thank you for your time today, Todoroki-san.”
Touya bows and joins his family, missing the member he wishes to see the most.
You back away from the door as you hear the knob turn and rest against the wall, arms over your chest as you greet your in-law’s with a subdued smile.
“Natsu will be so proud of you!” Fuyumi beams, rubbing your bicep in a comforting gesture. You just shrug, unable to speak. You exchange a few additional pleasantries with Shouto and Rei, wishing them goodbye as they leave you and Touya standing on opposite sides of the hallway.
“It’s okay, you know.”
Touya’s voice is a rasp, as always, and you look up through your eyelashes at him. Fiddling uncomfortably with the cuff of your shirt in the same way he’s been fiddling with his own cuffs all day, it just further emphasizes the similarities you share. It isn’t just love for Natsuo you have in common anymore.
“None of this shit has been easy and you’ve done your best. I’m not exactly a fuckin’ easy person to get along with.”
You chuckle, tension diffusing.
“I think you’re going soft, Touya.”
He chuckles back and your eyes meet, the two of you walking toward the center of the hallway to leave the building together and walk back to your car. Your footsteps are quiet and so are his, both of you slumping as you saunter out of the door and into the bright midday sun.
“Nah, just tired of being an asshole all the time.”
Tumblr media
The news comes as you stand at your kitchen sink, Touya bent over as you help him rinse black hair dye down the drain. Your hands are wet, his shirt is soaked, but you agreed to help him after noticing a huge white patch still at the back of his head from his attempts to do it himself.
“I dunno why you want it to be black so bad, don’t you want to look like Natsu?”
Touya snorts and the sound echoes through the steel basin. “I have to keep a little edge. Let me live.” You shut off the clean running water, allowing the dark droplets to work their way out of your sink. There was more rinsing to do but you wanted to be sure of how much more.
“It’s here!” Natsuo shouts from the doorway and you hear his hurried, large footsteps trek into the room, ripping of paper ringing in your ears.
You want to leave Touya’s side and go to Natsuo, to read over his arm, to see for yourself but you resolve to be patient and continue to lightly massage Touya’s scalp. He needs comfort right now, you can tell.
“Expansion of privileges,” Natsuo mutters to himself, scanning the page as quickly as he can. “Unsupervised access to other family homes! Holy shit!”
Tossing the papers onto the counter, your husband bolts toward you and wraps his arms around your waist. “No, no, no,” you chant as he picks you up and you accidentally pull Touya’s wet strands of hair. He yelps and you let go, hissing apologetically.
“God Natsuo, down boy.”
Your snarky brother-in-law draws a giggle from you as your husband presses a kiss against your cheek and reaches down to slap him on the back. “Do you wanna tell mom or should I?” Touya looks up, head still dripping, and rolls his eyes at his brother. “I could just show up at her house, that’d have more impact.”
Wiggling away from Natsuo, you reach for the towel on the counter and wrap it around Touya’s neck so he can sit up and not drip black water all over your floor. He gives silent thanks in the form of a tight half smile and you smile back, stepping away to let the brothers converse about how they’re going to break the news to their siblings.
As you watch the two of them, the panther and his handler once again come back to your mind.
The reason that the handler was able to come so close to the cat is because he trusted him. The cat could learn to trust others, to let people in, to let them be on his side. You won’t have to wonder if you could have gained the panther’s trust any longer and he won’t have to wonder what it’s like to be on the outside with the rest of us.

Daddy enji x daughter!reader
Warnings: incest (daddy enji  x daughter!reader), pure filth, fingering, mentions of loss of virginity, cunninglingus, blow jobs, afab reader, dom daddy enji, rough but also fluff, breeding kink!!!! (but pls wrap it up folx), jealousy, kinda non-con, angry!enji, daddy is probably a little overused lol, also enji is self loathing and hates himself hehe,, lots of anger lol,, let me know if i need to add more!
 also: reader is of age!! as always, MDNI 18+ only
Endeavor was not a good father. He never had been. He didn’t deserve a loving daughter, he didn’t deserve you. You had always stuck to him even when he hurt you, even when he treated you like he did his other children. You forced him to realize you were never leaving, that you loved him and didn’t want to lose him. Enji Todoroki realized the relationship he had with his daughter was not normal, he knew everything he did was wrong. But you were so gentle, so caring, you really did love your daddy, he couldn’t say no to you.
Maybe it was the side of you that grew up needing to please your father, dying for him to take notice of your accomplishments, working extra hard to be the good girl he wanted you to be, maybe that's why you found yourself sucking your father off. Maybe it was the longing for the praise that he never gave you that left you fucked out on your fathers cock. It was years of lacking physical affection that led you to crying and begging your daddy to do something, make you feel something, and he did. Enji couldn’t explain how he ended up with you on his thigh that night, sobbing into his chest as you made yourself cum in his lap.
He realized how horrible a father he must’ve been, his own daughter so desperate for attention she begged for her daddys cock? He didn’t have the right to tell you no. He neglected you, pushed you past your breaking point so far that you did anything just to see him happy. So Enji did his best to show you the love you never got to feel, it wasn’t what you needed then but certainly what you begged for now. He wrecked any possible chance of going back when he took your virginity, you were a complete mess under him, crying in pain but begging for more. You let your father take away something so intimate and special, he made you feel loved for the first time in your life and after that you couldn’t let go.  He hated himself for what he had turned you into, but he couldn’t help but adore how much you needed him, wanted and begged for him. Enji loathed himself but that wasn’t enough for him to stop stuffing his little girl's cunt.
Recently he had been neglecting the softness that you longed for, only giving you enough attention to fuck you then go to sleep. He had been so busy he didn’t realize he had actually pushed you away, hurt your feelings enough you started seeking his attention in another way. You started doing things you knew he didn’t approve of, like dressing slutty in public, making scenes and knowing people would film you. You were the number one hero's daughter after all, all eyes were always on you. But even that wasn’t enough to get his attention back on you. He was just too busy. It took resorting to something you felt was possibly unforgivable to finally get your father to focus on you again.
He caught you sucking off another man in his house.
How dare you disrespect me?
How dare you bring some worthless piece of scum into our home?
Those words made you see red. You screamed and cried and cussed at your father, the man you had brought in left amid the chaos, not wanting to be scorched by the pro-hero. All the hurt that you had been feeling the past few weeks hit you and you were ready to make him feel like shit for what he’s done. But as you want to start screaming, your voice cracked and you let out a silent sob.  You let yourself fall back to your bed, body shaking as you just stared at your lap.
What have you done wrong? Why was he suddenly so distant? Your whole body ached for the loving father you were finally getting to experience but he had become cold and distant again. Everything was starting to feel like before, empty and void of the love you had always craved. When you finally met your fathers gaze it was still blazing (literally) with fury as his icy eyes stared down at you. Part of him was concerned, but the other part was just pissed. Why did you feel like you needed to bring some lowlife scum in when you had him? Had he not been taking care of you like you begged him to do? He couldn’t understand what brought this on but he had his own solution to the problem.
“You want to be treated like a whore so bad? Can’t even wait for me to fuck you?” His voice boomed, his hand going into your hair to force your eyes back to him. Hot tears fell down your cheeks, not even able to form words as your father glared down at you. Every part of you wanted to scream ‘NO’ and wanted to tell him how you felt, but the look in his eyes made you feel helpless. “I’ve spent my whole day working, stopping people from getting hurt and taking down villains just to come home to my daughter being a little slut.” Am I not enough? That's what he wanted to say, he felt hurt, angry that you’d get with someone else.
Enji yanked your hair again, “Take care of me then, slut.” You didn’t want to. You just kept crying as your hands moved to free your father from his clothes. “Get me hard, and then maybe you can beg for my forgiveness.” Another sob shook your body as he held his cock out, pushing your head toward his length. “Suck.”
He had never been this harsh, never forced you to do anything you weren’t comfortable with. He was mean, shoving his cock down your throat, which even soft was bigger than the man you had just been with. You choked, gagging and sobbing around his cock as tears continued to flow down your face. This wasn’t your daddy, this was the monster you knew people feared when they heard the name Endeavor. He fucked your throat raw as you continued to cry, to angry to even notice you were actually in pain. He was so upset with you he barely registered you clawing at his thighs to get him away, it wasn’t until he had came down your throat that he realized just how upset you were.
  When Enji tried to check on you he was met with a shove, it was a pitiful attempt on your part, he barely even felt it. You didn’t want him near you, not after that. He was so quick to hurt you, so fast to make assumptions and not even talk to you about why you did what you did. Every attempt was met with silence, you just curled in on yourself even as your father picked you up, whispering soft things to you. You stayed quiet as he carried you to his bathroom, didn’t even look up as he undressed you and placed you in the tub. He took his time washing you, being as gentle as he possibly could be. He washed your hair, gently tugging the knots out as he tried to think of what to say to you.
“Why do you hurt me?”
Your voice was quiet, breaking a little from how much it hurt. He hurt you growing up, he hurt you by sleeping with you, making you feel loved and then taking that away too, and now this? It just seemed like he was only capable of hurting you. He soothed a hand over your hair, sighing softly as he took in your form. “You brought someone into our home.. I had to punish you.” Your eyes snapped up to him, hurt, angry, sad. You wanted to hate him, you wanted to fight.
“That’s not what I mean..” you gulp, finding your voice as you glare at your father. He was knelt at the side of the tub, just staring at you like he didn’t even know what you could mean.
“Daddy.. You’re mean. You ignored me my whole life..” It took you a minute to gather your words, to place your thoughts in order. “I always stayed by your side.. I did everything to make you happy and you never noticed me..”
“And then you finally did.. and..I've never been so happy but you’re taking that away. I’ve done everything I could to get you to notice me and.. all I’m worth to you is just a quick fuck and you’re gone.”
“You’ve never loved me, not the way I have begged for my whole life.” There it was, the breaking point. You felt hopeless, you needed your daddy but it was clear he didn’t need you.
There was a long silence before either of you spoke again, Enji was hating himself for being such a terrible father. You had provided yourself to him in ways you never should have, he had hurt you more than he had any of his other children. Ruined you in ways the others would never understand, you were fully connected to him and he had betrayed that. It was not until now that Enji realized how much you truly needed him, that you probably always would. You were broken and it was all his fault. He was going to have to prove himself to you.
“My sweet girl..” Even his voice was cracking, mostly because he hated himself, hated what he did, hated what he’s done to you. “I am so sorry.” He whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead before lifting you from the tub, wrapping a towel around you and just sitting on the floor with you in his lap. “I’ve been neglecting you huh?” a little nod from you, bottom lip shaking as he held you close.
“I’m so sorry, pretty.. I get so involved with work..” he trailed off, he didn't really have an excuse for his actions. “Baby doll, the truth is.. I don’t know how to love properly.. When I get scared I put myself into my work and neglect things.. I neglect the people who matter.” Enji tugged you closer, letting out a sigh of relief when you rested against his chest, small hands reaching for his large ones. You knew forgiving him so easily was stupid, but you had always forgiven him, always looked at him differently than your siblings did. You just wanted your daddy back, even if he did hurt you.
“What can I do to make it up to you? I promise I’ll be better for you.” Enji was never soft, but looking down at you, his precious daughter, all he wanted to do was be better. How could he have ever neglected you? He rubs his thumb over your cheek, taking you in as he pushes your hair from your face. “Tell me what you need.”
“I need.. I just need you..” your hands gripped the towel, not making eye contact with him. His hand tilted your face up, icy eyes meeting each other as he peered down at you. “Are you sure that’s what you want?” He didn’t want to rush into anything, not after what he had just done to you. But you just leaned up, pressing your body into his as you pressed a soft kiss to your daddys lips. It felt like the two of you spent hours just sitting there on the floor, kissing and holding each other. This is what you had missed, this is what you craved. You kissed down his jaw, little nips as you pressed yourself into him.
 “Daddy..” your little whine was all enji needed to carry you into his bedroom. He wanted to show you how much he loved you, make you feel protected, safe in his arms like you always should have been. Your body was laid back against the bed, Enji slotting himself between your thighs. He pressed little kisses to your thighs, mumbling about how pretty his little girl was. Before going too far, enji peered up at you, which elicited a whine from your lips immediately.
“You sure this is what you wanna do?” You tugged on your fathers hair, almost teary eyed as you watch him. “Yes.. please. Daddy I need you.. Please.”
For once in his life Enji was just going to relax and give you exactly what you needed. He was going to make this about you, he wasn’t going to let guilt or shame get in the way. His daughter needed him, and maybe this wasn’t what good parents did for their children, but enji was going to take care of you. His lips finally kissed over your cunt, licking between your folds before he pushed his tongue in you. He rubbed gently at your clit, getting a steady rhythm going as he devoured you. Your hands dug into his hair, loud moans leaving your lips as you pushed your cunny up to meet him.
Pleas of ‘daddy more’ flew from your lips as your daddy held you tight against his face. It wasn’t long before he replaced his tongue with a finger, spreading you open so you’d be ready for his cock. “Such a good girl.. gonna fuck my pretty girl so good.” another finger added and you were squeezing around him, moaning and crying out for him. You weren't sure if the tears were from the pleasure or the joy of finally having his focus on you again. It didn’t matter though because you were feeling that blissful feeling hit your stomach as his pace picked up.
“Daddy.. Ah gonna cum… daddy!” enji fingers didn’t stop, his thumb on your clit began moving faster, the digits that were in you pumping in you working you through your first orgasm. You clenched around his fingers, hips arching as little whines left your mouth, he still didn’t stop. His thumb on your clit continued as he pulled his fingers out, chuckling as your pussy clenched around nothing. “Don’t worry baby.. Daddy’s just gonna clean you up..” it took one arm wrapped around your body to hold you still as your daddy pushed his tongue back in you. He needed to taste his sweet girl, loved seeing the way your head lolled to the side as he cleaned you up.
This went on for a while, him just fingering you, making you cum, cleaning you up. He had made you cum on his mouth so many times you were beginning to lose count. When he felt you had finally been taken care of enough, he moved up to finally take a good look at you. A hazy drunken smile was on your face which was puffy and stained with tears, completely fucked out. You still wanted more though, you needed your daddys cock buried in your cunny, needed him to show you that you belonged to each other.
His hand cupped your face, a soft smile painted his features as he took you in. You were perfect, his precious girl. He knew he would never love someone as much as he loved his daughter. For a man who literally had hellfire in his veins, you were the one who warmed his heart, made him think there was a chance he could be a better man.
“Daddy..” you brought him back to earth, touching his hand that was on your face. You still had a loopy smile, but you felt it too. You felt the warmth spreading to your heart, love for your father warming your veins. “I love you..” It was soft, it was new. He had never said that before, not to his wife, not even to any of his other children. Your grin widened, and even though you were shaky and light headed, you threw your arms around him, tugging his full body weight against you as you kissed him.
“I love you too..” you cupped his face, smiling as you watched his eyes soften as he looked at you. This was all so new. Of course you had always loved your daddy but this.. This was something different. You both knew it was something you couldn’t come back from. There was a silence in the room, both of you just taking the other in, sharing kisses and soft touches as you lay there together. Then you did something unexpected, said something you knew daughters weren’t supposed to ask of their fathers.
“Daddy.. I want you to fuck me.” you had switched positions while laying down, so you took the opportunity to straddle his waist. “B-but I don’t want you to pull out.. I don't want you to wear protection.. I don’t want you to stop.” It was a request that made both of you hold your breath, though it didn’t stop you from rubbing your pussy against his cock.
“I-I don’t know if we should…” oh but he wanted to, Enji thought about breeding his little girl so many times. He had came in his hand to the idea of his cum leaking out of your cunt so many times. And maybe.. Maybe the thought of seeing you, his perfect replica pregnant.. swollen tits..
“Daddy.. Pleaseee.” you wanted this so bad. Of course you knew being pregnant by your own father would never be okay, knew that nobody would accept it. But the thought of a second chance, watching your daddy be a good, loving father.. It made you dizzy and happy.
“Please.. Just wanna have daddys cum in me..” How was he supposed to deny you? How could he say no when you were begging for your daddys cum? His hands gripped your waist, he was about to lose any ounce of sanity he had. He had always been safe, always used protection. He couldn’t risk getting his daughter, his own flesh and blood pregnant, but as you bucked your hips along the shaft of his cock.. any brink of sanity he had left vanished.
Enji lifted you onto his cock, granting your wish as he sheathed himself inside of you. “Ah. fuck.” you fell against his chest, wrapping your arms around his neck just to be close. He was sitting up now, holding you in his lap as he bottomed out in your cunt. Your walls fluttered, pussy clenching down from the stretch of your daddys cock. “Please daddy.. Please.”
Letting out a throaty groan, Enji began bouncing you up and down on his cock, making sure he did all the work so you could just enjoy it. It was almost embarrassing the noises that came from you as you bounced on your daddys cock. All you could do was dig your nails into his back, just sputtering out nonsense as he fucked you dumb. You were so full, taking in all of him every time you were brought back down. He kept a steady pace, wanting you to feel him stretch you out, needing to take his time with you just so he could savor the feeling of your pussy clenching on him. He never knew how much better you would feel without a condom, there was no way he could ever go back to fucking you with one.
“Gonna fill you up baby.. Watch your belly swell with our baby..” Enji didn’t even know what he was saying, just knew he was about to lose himself in his daughter's pussy. He just kept bringing you down on him, hips thrusting up to push him further every time. Your walls fluttered around him, trying to meet his thrusts but you just couldn't keep up as he started to lose himself.
“yes , yes yes.. Daddy fill me up!” Neither one of you was even fully aware of what you were agreeing to, but both knowing it was all you craved. Everytime your hips met each other it became sloppier, filled with more need as you both got lost in the pleasure. Enji knew he wasn’t going to last much longer so his thumb found your puffy, overused clit and he began to rub circles. “Cum on daddy's cock baby.. Wanna feel you clenching ‘round me when I fill you up..”
You could barely handle it, you had already come so many times and this one felt like it was going to push you over the edge. Tears brimmed your eyes as your nails dug into his shoulders, head falling back as it hit you. Your orgasm ripped through you and before you could even try to pull away from his thumb on your clit both of Enji’s hands were pulling you down on him. He grunted, head falling against your shoulder as hot ropes of his cum filled you up, every muscle in his body clenching as he held you against him. He was so warm, your body felt like it was on fire as you both finally stilled, blissed out and so so full of each other.
You both finally came back to the earth, chests heaving as you brought his face back to look at yours. He gave you a lazy smile, pushing your sweaty hair from your face as he leaned back against the bed. Neither one of you was ready to be apart yet. You let out a shaky breath at the new position, just keeping yourself firmly pressed against your daddys cock. You didn’t want to lose him, you needed him to stay with you forever.
“I love you daddy…”
Enji smiled, cupped your jaw firmly so he could look at you properly, he really just wanted to admire you. You looked so pretty, felt so nice just laying on his chest, pussy still fluttering around his length. He didn’t think he could ever get tired of this feeling. As much as he hated to admit it, he ran from you because you made him feel human again. He ran because he really was in love with you. But enji was tired of running, he just wanted to stay right here with his daughter forever. So with a soft kiss to your lips, he said once again the words he had always run away from, the words that always scared him.
“I love you too.”

Love & Angst Chapter 1
Hi, Tumblr fam! Here's a teaser of the Shouta Aizawa fic I've written so far. If anyone shows interest, I'll be happy to continue with it! And please bare with me, this is my first fic I have written in nearly eighteen years, so I may be a little rusty!
Pairings: Shouta Aizawa x Fem!Reader; Toshinori Yagi x Fem!Reader (platonic).
Warnings for later on in the story: Angst. Brief, undetailed mention of assault. Implied smut.
******
U.A. high school was holding its first gala dance for their students. Considering all that the students have been through, especially dealing with the League of Villains, it was well-deserved break to let loose and have a little fun.
You were the aunt of Shoto Todoroki on his dad's side. Yes, you were Endeavor's sister who happened to be born quirkless. Endeavor, or as you know him, Enji, never let you forget it, either, while growing up, constantly teasing you. But you knew deep down, when it came to it, he'd protect you in an instant if you were being hurt. Even though he could be a brute, you're his little sister, quirkless or not.
The night arrives of the gala, and at the very last minute, Shoto asks you if you could take him to where the dance is being held, as he has no other way of getting there that evening. Enji was busy as always, and it was too far to walk there. You were more than happy to oblige for your favorite nephew.
As soon as you park your car, you decide, against his reservations, to escort Shoto into the building. You know there are teachers outside & inside that are there to protect the students, but you were still weary due to everything he and his classmates have been through. Still, you did feel silly escorting him, because chances are, if something were to happen, he would the one to use his quirk to save you.
You both arrive inside the building, where there was already a pretty big crowd forming. Shoto thanks you for bringing him, and just as he's walking away, you grasp his hand. "Shoto, listen....you're always so serious. Which is understandable, considering how much you've been through. But please, try to have some fun tonight. And smile. You deserve it." Shoto smiles shyly back at you, squeezing your hand lightly and walks away.
Shoto blends into the crowd, so you take this opportunity to scan the scene around you. Many of the students were just standing there talking to each other, still in that awkward beginning phase of a school dance, not entirely sure how to act. You smile to yourself, and walk out to leave, when you spotted him. It completely slipped your mind that the former Symbol of Peace was a teacher at the school, and he happened to be one of the chaperones at the dance. You walk over to him, and over the loud music, shout to him, "Toshinori!"
When he sees who could be calling his name, his face broke out into the biggest smile. "Y/N!" he called, and like a scene from a movie, you ran to each other and gave each other the biggest hug, his hand gently placed on the back of your head, yours around his upper torso. He always gave the best hugs.
Toshinori had saved your life once upon a time, not even from villains, but from a group of thugs who were very close to assaulting you. Toshinori happened to be in the area at the time, hearing your screams, and came to your rescue. You were forever grateful to him, and have been friends ever since. At that time, you also saw him in his true form, before he was inevitably outed, and you've always kept his secret.
As you and Toshinori catch up, something feels...different. You feel someone watching you. Feeling slightly unnerved, you scan the room once more. And that is when you saw...him. He quickly looked away once you met his eyes, but you felt your heart literally skip a beat the moment you laid eyes upon him. In that moment, you had tunnel vision. Everything else around you faded, including whatever Toshinori was talking about, and all you saw was him. Nothing or no one else existed in that moment.
After several seconds, you came back to reality and faced Toshinori, suddenly feeling very bold, face boiling hot. "Say, Toshinori, who is that man standing over there next to the blonde man with the mohawk?" You ask, interrupting what he was talking about. You followed up quickly with an "I'm so sorry!" You felt bad for interrupting your friend. Toshinori gently shook his head and just smiled at you, he already had a sense of what was happening, as he always did. "Oh, that's Shouta Aizawa, one of the teachers. And the blonde man next to him is Hizashi Yamada. You may know them from the hero world as Eraserhead and Present Mic. Would you like me to introduce you to them?"
And you two begin your small journey over to them.

Blood of my House Pt1
Kirishima Eijiro x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Context: Eijiro's plan to claim back his family's throne is put on hold when you appear, as the rightful heir. You get on his nerves but you both need to work together in order to get the usurper off your throne. Lets just hope you both don't fall into the stereotype of your house.
Game of thrones inspired- The Kirishimas are basically the Targeryens. Credit given to George R Martin and the mastermind that he is.
Warning: this story deals with topics of cousin incest and referenced incest ( I don't condone this IRL), violence, taboo lust, blood, fire, time period specific misogyny and dragons. So be prepared. No smut... yet.
[P A R T 2] [BLOOD OF MY HOUSE MASTERLIST]
“If we advance our forces forward and take them from atop the valley, we can exterminate at least two thousand of their forces.” Bakugou Katsuki spoke as he moved the figures of black painted dragons that represented the Kirishima army. The blond man stood up straight as he motioned to the large map that was on the table that was in the shape of the continent that was the realm. He looked up from the table at the men that were around the table. “That way we can kill all those fuckers before the moon reaches it’s peak.”
Lord Taishiro Toyomitsu looked to the head of the table. His golden eyes on the man who was the centre of their cause. “Your grace.”
Kirishima Eijiro looked up from where he sat at the head of the table. His ruby eyes looking at the man who had unwaveringly and unquestionably joined his cause before looking around the table. Suffocating ruby eyes that gleamed with a fire so hot behind them. He looked back down at the table. He nodded his head. “Let it be done.” He stated as he stood up from his chair. Immediately everyone stood up, allowing him to leave the room with Katsuki following after him.
Eijiro exited out of the room, moving down the hallway, servants and lords bowing their heads to him as he moved towards his personal chambers. The stone walls of the castle were made out of dark black stone that was said to be burnt from an old dragon that melded the rocks together. Eijiro entered his room, placing down the heavy Valyrian steel sword against a table as he fell back down on a cushioned chair. He let out a sigh as he draped a hand over his eyes. Today was a long day of meetings and strategy.
Katsuki chuckled as he stood at the door. “Should I send dinner to your room?” He asked.
“Please.” Eijiro groaned. “And send for a Meyster.” He stated as he rubbed the side of his head. His eyebrows furrowed as he sat up. “I have a headache.”
Katsuki’s eyebrows twitched but he let out a grunt and closed the door.
Now alone, Eijiro put his head back with a sigh, glad to finally be alone. He didn’t think that leading a war against the Todoroki’s would be so difficult but he couldn’t say he wasn’t surprised. He opened his eyes again as he looked back at the view from the mountain top. The Sunvaile manor was built into the mountains with its village surrounding it. Eijiro never thought he’d ever be here in his ancestral home, at least not leading it as Prince and rightful heir to the throne.
Eijiro barely remember his parents, he only knew of the tragedy that befell on their house. It was a great gathering here to celebrate the birth of King Kirishima Ryosuke the second’s second born, a son, after having had his eldest daughter a few years before. It was a tradition that the Kirishima family had whenever a baby was to be born. Having the babe born in their ancestral home where dragons were said to have first been discovered in this world, was said to be good luck. The parties were extravagant and with such a big house with so many members, Eijiro could only remember faces of people that looked so similar to one another.
However Todoroki Enji, Lord of Turnes, had plotted in secret and assassinated nearly every member of the Kirishima family to ensure that there was not a single person to claim the throne. Fortunately, Eijiro’s mother and father, Lord and Lady of Summersvale, managed to hide him away with a loyal sword that would send him far away so that when the time came he would ascend the throne. The last thing Eijiro remembered of his mother, her hair being the deep red of her house Toyomitsu and not the inherit trait of Kirishima black, and the whispered spell she had cast over his hair.
One of the most noticeable features of Kirishima lineage was the inky black hair and ruby eyes, a pair of traits that never separated from one another. Many of his elder siblings, his father, aunts and uncles had the same trait. A dominant gene that never left. However, the next time Eijiro looked at his reflection in cold water while on the run away from Summersvale, his hair was a crimson red, similar to that of his mother.
Unfortunately the loyal sword that had managed to get him out of Summersvale had fallen at the ends of smugglers and Eijiro found himself sold into slavery at the age of five. He was fortunately bought by the Bakugous, the family that led the BakuLands. He was young and was quickly taught the ropes, making sure to do what he was told as a little errand boy in exchange for food and a place to sleep. However, Eijiro always had an interest in the sword, and that’s how he met his best friend and brother at arms, Bakugou Katsuki.
Katsuki was an annoying little shit, but he was loyal and a good friend. He easily befriended Eijiro mostly because Eijiro was the only boy willing to befriend him other than the son of Katsuki’s former wetnurse, Midoriya Izuku, the bastard. Lady Mitsuki rather disliked Eijiro, not liking the fact that her son had made friends with a servant but it was the most she was ever going to get out of him. Eijiro trained beside Katsuki in secret and served him.
That was until Katsuki’s parents had taken Katsuki and consequently Eijiro as Katsuki’s personal servant, to Summersvale. It happened purely by chance that their hunting party had stumbled upon the caves that the dragons nested in. With a flash of fire, Eijiro trying to save Katsuki’s life, Eijiro was left unburnt and unscathed, however, like a phoenix’s burnt wings, his red a flame hair turned black like ashes. And ever since then, the whispers moved around the realm saying how one Kirishima had survived that night.
Prince Kirishima Eijiro.
Or at least, that’s how Eijiro remembered it.
Eijiro wondered what life would had been like did his parents survive, if that fateful night had not happened. He wondered if right now he’d be surrounded by his sisters, if he would be sitting down having dinner in a hall that was filled with laughter and bright smiles. If he would learn under his father to become the next Lord of Summersvale or whether his eldest sister would have taken the title (unlikely but a thought regardless). He wondered if he’d still be the same man as he was now.
He was taken out of his thoughts at the sound of racing footsteps out in the halls. Eijiro’s eyes flicked to the door before it opened. Katsuki stood there with heavy breaths as he kept the door opened standing in the doorway. “Eijiro, you must come and see this.”
Eijiro’s eyebrows furrowed as he stood up from his chair, grabbing his sword as he did so and heading with haste out of his chambers. Katsuki escorted him out of the room and down the hall. “What is the matter? Is it the Todorokis?”
Katsuki shook his head as he headed towards a window that faced the front of the castle. “No. They bare a different banner.”
“Whose?”
Katsuki motioned for Eijiro to look outside. The setting sun had bathed the tops of the mountains in orange but otherwise darkness was quickly overtaking the land. But that did not stop Eijiro from seeing the banners that were being carried by a hoard of men, soldiers that were heading towards them, close enough to be concerning. At the sight of the black banners that bore the red sigil of a dragon curled up with flames surrounding it like the sun, Eijiro stiffened.
Katsuki sighed as he nodded. “They bare your banners.” He stated.
It didn’t take long before both men made it outside, Eijiro grabbing his clock and throwing it over his shoulders, a black furred mantel resting on his shoulders. It was once his fathers and he had always been shy of wearing it, but he prayed that it would give him strength right now. Both Katsuki and him headed down the outside stairs into the courtyard as the gates were opened to allow the visitors through.
Entering on horseback on a white stallion was a man neither Eijiro nor Katsuki thought they would see again. Katsuki’s eyes widened. “Deku?!” He let out surprised. “You bastard! You’re still alive?”
Sitting atop the stallion was a green haired man with freckles that littered his skin, his green eyes looked down at the blond with an amused glint but a deep dangerous poison brewing underneath. He scoffed as he got off of his horse. “I see you haven’t changed, Kacchan.” He stated as he landed on the ground with a thud as he walked over to the two men. Izuku’s eyes went to Eijiro, his eyes assessing him. It had been years since he last saw the other man. He bowed his head. “Your grace.”
“Izuku, it’s been a while.” He let out offering his hand.
At the sign of friendship Izuku took it with a smile of his own. “It has. Last time I saw you, your grace, your hair was red, not black.”
Eijiro chuckled. “A lot has happened.”
“Indeed.”
“Deku,” Katsuki folded his arms over his chest with a frown. “How are you alive and why on earth are you and your forty thousand men baring up Kirishima banners? Have you finally come to help our cause?”
Izuku hesitated before an amused chuckle came from his lips. “I am here to fight a Kirishima cause yes, just not yours.” He revealed before motioning up to the sky. “Hers.”
Eijiro looked up to the sky, clouds seemingly undisturbed however as he kept looking he noticed something strange moving closer, rippling through the clouds. An odd sound went through the air, a loud roar that sounded different from his own dragon. His eyes widened as a large dark dragon came flying in the air over the caslte. The force of the wind, nearly knocking many back but Eijiro stood his ground.
He noticed a person was riding a top of the dragon as it circled around, gradually getting lower to the ground. Finally, the large dragon settled on one of the thick walls of the castle, made to be that thick due to the dragon claws and weight. The large beast let out a loud roar, snaking its head up to the sky almost in victory at being back home. It ruffled its wings before lowering its head to pear down at the men that were staring up at it in fear.
Eijiro’s men had sort of gotten used to his own dragon, Riot, but that was mostly because she was the only one left. Or so they thought.
Sitting perched on the dragons body was a woman, who’s eyes bore into Eijiro’s like a mirror. Something twisted inside of him, wondering who on earth you were. The dragon lowered his head with a scuttle as you unseated yourself, using his wing to slide down and land on your feet. You were dressed in black, in a jacket and suit that suit you well as you walked forward to stand before Eijiro and Katsuki.
Izuku stiffened and bowed his head. “You stand in the presence of Y/N of House Kirishima, first of her name, eldest daughter of King Ryosuke Kirishima, second of his name, rightful heir to the throne, the princess of skies and speaker for the broken, the unscorched lady of the night.” Izuku introduced as you stood looking at Eijiro unwaveringly.
Eijiro blinked at the introduction. He turned to look at Katsuki. Katsuki looked at him then quickly got the jist. “This is Eijiro.” He stated plainly. Eijiro punched his side. “OF House Kirishima.” He continued with a glare at his best friend. He cleared his throat and motioned back to Eijiro. “He’s Lord of Summersvale.”
You raised a slight eyebrow at the short introduction but it was more in amusement than anything. You chuckled as you looked over at the man in front of you. He was undoubtedly a Kirishima male. The long thick black hair that cascaded down his back like a mane and the burning intense ruby eyes that he had were enough to tell you. “Cousin.” You greeted with a smile.
Eijiro’s eyebrow twitched as he recognised you. Despite having spent years apart, the sight of one of his kin was enough to assure him of your identity. Blood could recognise blood. “Cousin.” He acknowledged. At his acknowledgement, Katsuki looked at him shocked, but Eijiro couldn’t didn’t take his eyes off of you.
“It has been far too long.” You started, your eyes moving over his figure once more. Despite seeing him and seeing what was once your little cousin Eijiro, his size surprised you. He had grown to fill the large disposition that was infamous of the men in your family. Large broad shoulders and a tall thick muscled demeanour. He was taller than any man you had ever seen and carried himself with such prowess. “Last time I saw you, you were but a boy still young enough to be attached to your mother’s tits.” You let out snidely, earning a humeroued smirk from Izuku and stifled chuckles from his men.
Eijiro’s eyebrows twitched. “Last time I saw you, you were but a girl who didn’t have any.” He shot back earning some laughs from his own men behind him.
You stood your ground, your smile not faltering as you looked at him. “We have grown.”
“Yes...” His eyes moved down your figure, your stomach tightening in knots as you watched him. His eyes flicked back up to his face. “Yes, we have.” He joined his hands in front of himself as he glared down at you. “What are you doing here Y/N?” He asked with a furrowed gaze.
You let out a breath. “How about we discuss this inside? It is getting late and cold and I’d rather give my men some rest.” You stated.
Eijiro was silent for a moment but nodded his head. Katsuki gave him a pointed look that Eijiro ignored. “Katsuki arrange for her rooms to be ready. We are heading inside.” He ordered as he turned around and headed inside.
You followed after him, motioning for Izuku to tell your men to set up camp for the time being in case you would have to leave the following day. You and the rest of your advisors headed into the castle. You looked up at the formidable entrance, stone dragons perched near the entrance, the size of young dragons barely able to be ridden yet. You turned to look at your own dragon. He was getting herded away by dragon chamberlains, them speaking to the large beast in High Valeryian. You trusted that he would behave himself and so walked in after Eijiro.
Eijiro did not speak as you followed after him. But you didn’t want him to speak as you looked around the castle halls. It had been so long since you had been back home here, back to your ancestral home. A part of you felt as though you could feel your family’s embrace even though shrouded in the darkness of their demise. You saw a family portrait hanging formidably.
Your uncle Takeo and his wife Yua with four little girls surrounding them and a little baby boy in Yua’s arms. You knew it was Eijiro and a part of you wanted to scoff at the little thing. He seemed like such a brat.
You continued to follow him into a room you were never allowed in as a child. A room where all the men of your family sat, often talking plans when it came to governing the seven kingdoms or when it came to the family. Your eyes looked at the table, the map of all the kingdoms set before you. Your fingers slid on the obsidian marble that was the table in front of you. Your eyes moved to the head of the table where your father used to sit.
Eijiro watched you, how you silently reminisced as you slowly walked through the room. It was quiet as you did so, everyone spectating you. Your eyes moved up to him, noticing how he had moved to sit at the Head of the table. You gave him a tense smile as you sat the opposite end. Izuku took his place beside you and Katsuki stood beside Eijiro.
Eijiro’s hands were joined together in front of him as he watched you with a analytical gleam. “I assume that this visit isn’t a familial one amongst kin.” He started, now that everyone whose ears needed to be in the room, were there.
You hummed as you leaned against the chair you sat in. “Indeed.” You nodded your head agreeing with him. “I heard about your cause all the way in Chalrogo. After some thoughts and talks amongst me and my councilmen, it was decided that the best course of action was to find you and join our causes so that I shall take my rightful place on the throne.”
“Your rightful place on the throne?” Eijiro asked with a scoff as he looked at you up and down. A humoured chuckle left his throat as he did so.
Your eyebrows twitched in annoyance as you sat up. “Do you find something humorous?”
Eijiro nodded his head with a smile. “The fact that you think you belong on the throne, is humorous.”
“And why is that?”
“Why?” Eijiro asked with a scoff. He motioned to you before leaning to the side with his hand supporting him. “No woman has ever sat upon the throne.”
You knew he would say that, every man has said that. “I am the eldest born and only child left of King Ryosuke.” You reminded him. “I have a greater right to sit on that throne more than you.”
“Ah, but you forget, cousin.” Eijiro let out with a tsk as he shook his head. “I am the oldest male of the Kirishima House left, which automatically makes me Head of the family and King by default.”
“Your father, swore an oath to his older brother, my father, that he would be loyal and dedicated to our reign.” Your eyebrows furrowed as you kept your eyes on Eijiro. “Your father owes me that vow and you, as his son, are the only one left to uphold that.”
Eijiro frowned at your excuses. He found them pathetic and rather humerous. He couldn’t ignore the matter at hand that was your new found existence in his life, but this all seemed a bit much for him. Katsuki stepped forward. “Excuse me, Y/N-”
“Princess Y/N.” Izuku corrected with a glare.
Katsuki rolled his eyes at Izuku’s interruption. “Yes, yes, your grace,” He said dripping in sarcasm. “But last time I checked, your brother was born and named heir on the night of the Burnout flame.”
You rolled your own eyes. “Oh please. My younger brother had barely lived longer than an hour before his life came to an end due to the usurper that is Todoroki Enji.”
“At least there is one thing we agree on.” Eijiro pointed out. “You want to join our forces.”
You let out a breath, trying to regain control of yourself and a sound mind. You nodded your head. “The blood of our house is stronger together, is it not?” You asked. “I have 45 000 men and fifty ships ready and waiting at my disposal, as well as enough gold to burn.”
Sero Hanta’s eyebrows twitched as he tilted his head. “How much gold?” He asked.
You glanced to Izuku. He nodded as he turned to the door and opened it, allowing two of your armed men to carry in a chest filled with gold. The chest was brought down on the floor with a heavy thud, coins already spilling out of it. Eijiro and his men had wide eyes at the sight of it.
“I have fifty of those.” You revealed bluntly.
Eijiro was silent as he looked from the chest over to you. He wondered what on earth you had been through and what you had done in order to have such power at your back and call.
“Your grace,” Both him and you had turned your heads to look Toyomitsu Taishiro. He looked to Eijiro with an earnest look. “Joining your forces under one banner would give us the advantage. A hundred thousand men strong would be enough to defeat the Todorokis with the right plan.” He acknowledged. Eijiro’s eyebrows furrowed but he listened. He owed this man, his uncle, his life and a lot more. He trusted him. Taishiro turned to look at you. “Besides, your house must be united now more than ever. And forgive me for saying, my princess,” You smiled. “But you look just like your mother. Even now.”
You smiled gently at the complement. You nodded your head in gratitude. “Thank you, Lord Toyomitsu. My house will always be grateful for the loyalty and fealty to us.”
“Yes, my nephew has told me.” He acknowledged as he motioned to Eijiro.
Eijiro frowned as he looked over at you. Here you were, sitting in front of him almost as if you dropped out of the sky. Eijiro was not sure what to do. He let out a grunt. “I think it is obvious that together we are stronger than divided.” You nodded at the obvious. “Then I agree. We will work together to unseat King Enji from the throne.”
“Then who will sit on the throne?” One of your advisors, Lord Aizawa Shota asked as he leaned back in his chair tiredly.
You turned to look at Eijiro and he stared at you right back. You forced a smile to your face. “I think we can determine that like adults, can’t we, Eijiro?” You asked with a smile that Eijiro wanted to pull off of your face.
He nodded curtly. “Of course. But please, we shall show you to your rooms and we can eat dinner together, as one.” You nodded your head as you stood up from opposite him. All of your men stood up and followed you out of the room, followed by a servant that was summoned by Katsuki. Once you finally left Eijiro let out a groan as he leaned back and dragged a hand down his face.
“So…” Kaminari Denki started lowly as he tapped his fingers on the table. “Are we just going to ignore the fact that she looks like every man’s best dream?” He asked openly.
Eijiro glanced at the blond man with a glare which quickly shut Denki up. He wasn’t wrong, you had grown a lot since he had last saw you. You were a woman now. In every shape of the word and it haunted him. Suffocatingly so. You were smart, he could tell by the arsenal you had behind you but you were also beautiful and deeply aware of it too. He could tell by the way every single man in the room was unable to look away from you.
“This could be a trick.” He let out lowly as he thought about every possible scenario.
“If so, she’s a very needed trick.” Sato acknowledged, his arms folded over his chest. “She comes with men, ships and a hefty sum to her name.”
Commander Hounddog nodded his head with a low grunt. “She’s perfect to your cause, your grace.”
“But then comes the real question…” Taishiro started as he adjusted his seating, minding his large belly as he did so. His golden eyes moved to Eijiro and the younger man knew that he was going to say something that would make the entire room uncomfortable. “Are you going to wed her?”
Eijiro let out a loud laugh at the thought. “Wed her?!” He asked motioning to the door. “She’s my cousin!”
“Yes but… It’s kind of what your family does.” Sero let out with an awkward smile. “You’re a Kirishima, she’s a Kirishima, you both have blood that stems from a time of old magic and dragons.”
“It would solidify your claim to the throne.” Tetsutetsu recognized earning hums from around the room.
Eijiro scoffed as he stood up from his chair. “Oh please! That’s appalling. I don’t have to marry her in order to stake my claim. My mother was not a Kirishima and I have the same claim as she does!”
“But that is because your grandfather, King Shinyo first of his name, wanted to cement the ties between our two families.” Taishiro reminded his nephew with a pointed look. “But your grandparents were both from House Kirishima, her parents were both Kirishimas.”
Katsuki nodded with a hum. “Siblings in fact.”
Eijiro glared up at the blond. “You are not helping!” He told his best friend. “If marrying a woman is so important, fine I will do so, but it damn well will not be her! My blood is thick enough to not need her for anything other than her assistance to the throne. By the end of the season cycle, I will be seated as the next king of the realm, whether she likes it or not.”

𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬.
Tags: 7 reasons why I love you, shoto x fem!reader, angst, fluff
Shoto remembers how your eyes looked. They were the absolute window to your soul.
The both of you met in the winter.
Shoto remembers everything and truly, he doesn’t think he’ll forget.
He remembers everything down to the smallest details.
How the snowflakes danced around outside as frost crept along his window sills.
How the tulips arranged on the table looked so beautiful beside you.
His family had held a ball in the ballroom of his castle.
Frankly, he hadn’t wanted to be there. The clothes were stuffy, and it felt like he could barely move in it due to how stiff the layers of fabric felt.
He never wanted the life ahead of him. It was common knowledge that he was the crowned prince, heir to the throne in no less than a month. His father was a traditional man, and he refused to let his sister wear the crown as a female. With Natsuo’s easy-going but troublemaker personality, Enji had turned to his youngest after Toya fled the palace.
How Shoto wished he could do the same.
Shoto nodded along with a pained smile as another princess came up to him with a heavy blush across her cheeks. They were all the same, Shoto realised. His father’s gaze was scorching on his back, so he smiled and kept up the act as her parents introduced her to him.
Pretty, perfect princesses that wanted his hand in marriage. Because of what? His title? His looks? His connections?
He was struggling to keep his eyes open—god, his feet hurt—trying to be polite and excuse himself, but her parents didn’t care one bit. They just kept on talking, completely ignorant of his lack of interest.
Shoto’s eyes wandered, and together with that, his mind…
And that was where he first saw you, standing there in that red dress.
The first thing that caught his attention was your eyes. They sparkled with mischief as you examined the table tucked at the side of the room, where a variety of fruit was laid out enticingly for the picking. You hook your fan around your wrist, grab a plate and load it with the snack, turning around with a sigh of relief.
Shoto could relate. He was starting to get hungry too.
Next thing he knew, he’d been staring at you way longer than he intended. Your gaze caught his own, and for a moment, time slowed down. The world narrowed down to the two of you, and it took his breath away because, wow, those eyes were ones he had never seen before.
He was so used to everyone around him keeping their guard up, hiding behind cold facades or honey-sweet words. That was how this world is supposed to work.
But you…
Your eyes were crystal clear, genuine and brave. Like you had nothing to hide.
You held his gaze for a second longer, and your lips curled up into a dazzling grin as you bowed your head ever so slightly at him.
With a blink of an eye, you disappeared, leaving him dazed as he found himself looking back at the princess in front of him. She was still blushing softly with a pink hue on her cheeks, oblivious to his drifting eyes.
He didn’t hear a word her parents said.
Shoto found you in the crowd once more when he gave the ball’s closing speech. Good practice, his father had insisted, before shoving him on the platform for all to see. “On behalf of the Todoroki family, I would like to thank everyone for coming here,” He said, fumbling for words. “I hope you enjoyed the ball—” His eyes shifted again, and they found you.
You had a fan over your face, but Shoto could still see your eyes.
And your eyes were the only ones that looked like that in this setting. He was speaking, but he’s no longer processing, fixated on you because he found it strange. How could you be so true to your feelings at an event like this?
You noticed his gaze and paused, as if deliberating. That was when you flipped your fan around, showing the back of it to him. Fluttering it slowly, you wait for him to finish his speech before closing it and bringing it to your lips with a curious look in your eyes.
Shoto’s orbs widened a fraction.
In the world of the higher class, fans could be used to send signals. This was something Shoto had no choice but to learn. Fans were used to say things that couldn’t be said or things that were too embarrassing to be said out loud.
You’d just used your fan.
You’d just sent him a signal.
Shoto bit his lip, digging into the recesses of his mind to pull out his tutor’s words. The memory was hazy (It hadn’t really interested him, after all), but still legible enough for him to make out the words.
Come over and talk to me.
Meet me outside.
A tingle of excitement ran down Shoto’s spine, the first rush of emotion he felt in a long time.
You’re a peculiar person, and he doesn’t even know your name, but Shoto can already tell 2 things as he’s racing to meet you out on the balcony the moment he can.
He likes you, and he likes you a lot.
Your eyes were the windows to your soul, and Shoto found it very beautiful.

Another Barbarian Bakugo [part 2]
Prince Barbarian Bakugo x Dragon Royal Reader ; Dragonshifter Kirishima ; fluff ; implicit smut ; angst ; death of character ; sad ending. It's the last part. Hope you like it !
A lot of mysteries surrounded the L/N Realm.
The tropical forest beated by tempests, the tall mountains screaming in the wind... And the dragon-borns flying in the sky.
Your Realm was a peculiar one. Not so long ago, dragon-borns lived hidden and enslaved. Their scales and horns were tore out to be sold. A tribe was using magic to lock them up, forbiding them to fly.
You were the one who freed them. You were at war with the tribe, they blocked the few commercials road your people used. When you discovered dragon-borns were locked in their caves, you used it.
They are peculiar creatures. The years confined weaken them. You used old magic to help them. Kirishima was the first to follow you. He proposed you something, his dragon being the bigger was the harder to control. By using a link called sibling, you could help him to tame his dragon. You fought together, strengthen by magic and the new link between you two.
You won against the tribe and freed all the dragon-borns, they weren't a lot.
You proposed them citizenship, promising protection and equality with other people. They all agree, but were quite suspicious. They have been locked for years after all.
But through time you won their trust.
Kirishima was your closest friend and one of the representative of his kind in your council. Your people prospered. Your culture and the dragon-born's culture mixed up.
However a problem appeared. The number of dragon-born rised up, while your food reserve didn't evolve. Feeding everybody was becoming quite difficult.
So, when Queen Mitsuki send a letter where she proposed an alliance and the hand of her only son in marriage for your help, you jumped on it. It was the solution.
You heard about the Bakugo’s tribe. Traders talked about the Prince's prodigious swordplay, his boldness in war, his lack of fear. His land was prosperous and fertile contrary to yours. You could feed your people with this mariage.
You asked more information and the traders talked about his spiked blond hair, how he kept his posture against King Enji who has three time his age and experience. Then, a trader talked about his red eyes.
Red eyes were the mark of dragon-borns in your country. You questioned the trader to know if he saw him shift.
"I don't know if he is a dragon, Heir L/N, but he sure fight like one."
You fantasized the man, without knowing it. Some of the oldest called him an ancient dragon soul. And Kirishima called you a lovesick fan, always with a stupid grin. "Come on Eijiro, I'm doing it for the food, you know me." You would say.
You would whispered it when you barged in Todoroki's castle, or when you found the Phoenix' crown. You burned down the castle after making sure everybody was dead. Apparently, King Enji ran away when he learned about the destruction of his fleet but left his children and wife. "Coward" growled Kirishima.
You sent your best trackers at his pursuit and flew to the Bakugo's, the crown safe in an orned box.
Bakugo, from his side, fought his parents. Asking when did they thought they had the right to forced his hand like that, without telling him before.
"Listen at you brat, throwing a tantrum like a spoiled child ! And you thought I would tell you? Knowing how you would react? I am your Queen, Katsuki. And you better remember it. We need this alliance with the dragon riders, you will give it to your people and that's the last time I'll explain it to you!"
The only person to ease his feelings was his father, who like the king he is, guides his steps. He talked to him about you, how you beat him and how trapped he felt.
"They doesn't sound so bad," he murmured. "But you should learn more about them and their culture. Don't let the darkness of ignorance guide you, flames are always better. Even if it burns. It's good their court is arriving tomorrow."
He followed his advice and learning he did. The first thing he did was training with your men. You won't beat him again, he would learn your tricks, your style, how your body glide. Then he learned more about dragon-borns, how you freed them, how you trusted them, how you rode them. He learned about your people who carved mountains and forests, children who trained for the Storm's Rite, dragon-borns who opened to the world and trusted humans with the sibling link.
And maybe, you weren't so bad.
When you came back, a week before the marriage, you bowed down to his parents and yours. He felt strange. A weird sense of giddiness. When you came to training, his own men would blank, they heard so much about you and the "stupid arranged marriage" their leader was forced into. "You know boss, if it's for the country's good, I volunteer to take your place for marriage." said Kaminari. Sero seconded, in case something happened to Kaminari.
Bakugo beated their ass that day, rage in his blood. He didn't know if it was because he felt mocked or because you were watching. But you didn't talk to him.
He didn't go to you either but he expected you to. Even more after he showed off your people's tricks he learned while you were away. But you didn't say anything.
Not until the ceremony, you got the Phoenix crown out of a box and put it on his head.
"How does it feel, to be the first emperor of the continent ?" You pecked his lips. The touch soft, your warmth dicipated as quickly as it came.
The first night, you stayed in your quarter after telling something about the lack of storms.
He learned the next day he was living with you for the Mishae plains. He saw your homeland, you took his hand and ran with him. He hunted with you, cooked with you, flew with you on Kirishima and cuddled with you in front of dragon's flames. You taught him everything, how to care, how to sooth and how to love. He never felt behind with you, always an equal.
He taught you songs his soldiers sang before battle, he taught you how to dress for winter in the Eastern lands, he taught you how to imitate animals to lure them and he taught you how warm he was.
Kirishima was always with him if not with you. The dragon-born trained and laughed with him. Your brother became his brother too.
It isn't until his first storm in your home, that you led him to your bedroom. You kissed him ferocely, touching and molding your bodies. The rain covered your breaths, thunder roaring like you both. It felt intense, like the weather. Rain pouring, wind screaming, clouds lightening. Bakugo finally understood what Kirishima told him : "You have bells during marriage, we don't have those. We only have thunder, it's him who tell us to... Dance." The smirk from the red-head should have led him to this ancient tradition.
You both flew back when your parents told you Enji was coming from the West. He paid mercenaries to take his castle back.
You both flew to the North with soldiers. The mercenaries were from a witch's clan. Their magic was dangerous to dragon-borns, making the fight more difficult. You ran to King Enji, if there was no king, there was no war. While you fought with the Phoenix you didn't see the archer pointing at you.
Bakugo saw it before you. He screamed you name with all his might, alerting Kirishima. You turned uround.
They saw the scene perfectly. The arrow flying, your eyes widening and the silver head piercing your chest. And just to be sure you wouldn't survive, Enji hit you with his sword, your blood poured everywhere.
Red. Red. Red. Everything was red. The earth where you lied. Katsuki vision while he saw life leave your face. He couldn't believe he didn't tell you he love you. And Kirishima flames when he felt the sibling link broke, crushing his dragon soul.
Enji perished in the flames, swallowed by them. How ironic for a Phoenix. But Kirishima was mad, he couldn't control himself.
Bakugo screamed. He poured his broken heart to stop the dragon. He climbed on it, hugging his scales while the dragon tore itself. He murmured, "I know, I know, I know... I need you to come back Eijiro!"
Crying, he used the spell like you taught him. Kirishima clinged on it. They were both hurting, desesperate. When the spell ended, the link was form.
They were sibling.
They left the North to take you back to Mishae. Bakugo and Kirishima swore no witch would ever hurt a dragon, no dragon-born would die of hunger. The empire formed by the South, the East and North would forever remember you like their creator and fierce protector.
He was now Emperor Bakugo, King of the Barbarians and the Dragons. He couldn't have imagine this destiny, and it was all thanked to you.

Lessen Your Pain
(Started this a long while ago when I first found Golden Hour by JVKE. So have some childhood Shoto)
Shoto Todoroki x F!Reader
Genre: Friends to Lovers, Fluff, Romantic
Summary: You and Shoto always shared each other’s pain, and you hoped he shared your love as well.
~~~~~~
His burn was the one thing he never let you feel. He let you feel every bruise, cut, or broken bone he’d ever sustained, allowing you to share his pain, lessen the damage done by his father to replace with your love and care.
But the burn over his eye? Never. No matter how much you tried to convince him, he never let you touch the burn.
You were confused and tiny bit upset at first, but over time you got used to it.
His mother adored you, from the little time you spent getting to know her, the same for his siblings. His father however was… more neutral towards you.
So long as you weren’t softening up Shoto or disrupting his trading, Enji couldn’t care if you were visiting or not.
As you grew, you wondered if your own parents intimidated the Number Two hero, seeing as they were well respected heroes themselves.
Nonetheless, after you and Shoto graduated middle school, you half expected to not see him for a long time, as he was headed to UA.
So when your own letter from UA came, needless to say you were surprised.
Shoto had been recommended to UA, and in turn he recommended you for a support course.
Your quirk was called Pain Transfer. You could take one person’s pain and share it with yourself or others, lessening the pain one could be in. Extremely useful in calming down people who are gravely injured. The only downside was you could only transfer one persons pain at a time.
You were nervous as you stepped through UA’s grand doors, barely getting a chance to see inside the main foyer when Shoto was there in front of you, giving you a small smile.
To you, it was the brightest one.
Classes passed quickly, and when you returned to Shoto at lunchtime, there he was with a nasty looking scraped elbow, bandaged by Recovery Girl, and doing his best to ignore it and focus on his food.
You sat down, and wordlessly took his elbow, tilting your head in silent question. At his nod, you activated your quirk, splitting his pain halfway. His pain dulled to a small sting, and you gained just as much.
You felt warm doing your childhood ritual again, even if you were holding his cold side.
“Who’s this, Todoroki?”
You glanced over, cheeks full of soba as three students walked up. Shoto glanced up the same time you did, giving a small, tentative wave to the three.
“This is (L/n) (Y/n), a childhood friend.”
The three were two boys and a girl, one tall boy in glasses gazed at you with curiosity and the other rather plain looking boy sported a head of deep green hair, the girl’s brown hair was styled into a bob and her warm smile split into her round cheeks.
“Oh wow, it’s nice to meet you! I’m Uraraka Ochako! The one in glasses is Iida Tenya, and this plain looking boy is Midoriya Izuku!”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, (L/n)!”
“I’m not plain looking…”
The three sat down, the group telling you how the hero course is going as you all are together.
“So I’m guessing you all are becoming friends with Shoto?” You asked, oblivious to your friend’s slight panic.
“Something like that.” Izuku replied, just before your gaze was taken by Tenya speaking up.
“Are you using a quirk right now?”
“Oh! Yeah, I can share or transfer pain with my quirk. So I’m sharing Shoto’s roughed up elbow here, we’ve done this since we were kids.”
Tenya’s eyes lit up as he smiled. “That’s very interesting! That sounds like a wonderful quirk—Midoriya put the book away it’s time to be eating.”
“Oh but c’mon!”
“You can get data later! Where that book even comes from anyway?”
You giggled at their antics, the four of you completely unaware of Shoto’s smile, hidden behind his bowl of soba.
Lunch and the rest of your classes ended soon enough, and just like you’d done since you were little kids, you walked home together with Shoto.
You glanced over at him midway into the walk, finding his expression downcast.
“Are you alright, Sho? You look like you’re thinkin’ pretty hard.”
He turned to you, a small smile forming on his face. “I’m alright. Just thinking.”
“About what? Can I be nosy?”
He hummed to himself, nibbling his lip as his thinking face returned, debating in his head.
“Mmm, no.” He replied, darting forward to peck a kiss to your nose. “You can’t be nosy, and now you’ve got something to think about too.”
You spluttered, face turning red. “Shoto what was that?!”
“Think about it and get back to me?”
“Shoto!”
A minute of quiet settled between you both, comfortable and not heavy.
“Love you too, Shoto.”
Now it was Shoto’s turn to turn red in the face, but he slipped his hand into yours, a smile still on his face.
Shouto had learned a lot from his Father; how to take a hit, how to pull himself back up, and how to hold a grudge.
But one thing Endeavor could never teach his children was how to be a good partner.
Shouto had to learn that particular skill the hard way.
---
He had spent long, sleepless nights reflecting on the things you had told him; the reasons you left. Every moment of your acquaintance was turned over repeatedly in his head and examined until one devastating conclusion was reached:
"I was a bad boyfriend," Shouto muttered dejectedly, idly picking at the label of the shochu bottle in the middle of the table.
A story where Shouto loves, loses, and learns.
Shouto was used to receiving calls late at night, it came part and parcel with his job as a Prol Hero.  But he wasn't used to receiving early morning calls from you; who knew about his unpredictable schedule and did your best to preserve the integrity of what little sleep he did get.
"Hello?"
"...Shouto?" You stammered into the phone, his name bracketed on both sides by great, heaving sobs.
"What is it?" Shouto breathed, throwing off his covers and throwing on a sweatshirt as he made his way out of his bedroom door.  "What's wrong?  Are you hurt?"
A laugh, wet and broken reaches his ear.
"I don't- I don't even know how to answer that question."
"Are you bleeding?"
"No," you sniffed. "Physically, I'm fine."
Relief flooded every inch of his body.  "Oh, thank goodness," he breathed, making his way across his living room.  "What has you so upset then?"
"Seiji.  He-," you paused, inhaling a deep shuddering breath. "He called off the wedding."
Shouto paused in the middle of pulling a loafer onto his foot, his brain needing a moment to process your words while the shoe slid from his grasp and bounced across the floor.
"He what?" Shouto screeched, scrambling across the floor to grab his wayward shoe and jam it onto his foot.
"I just- I don't know what to even do right now.  I'm so mad and I can't stop crying and the wedding is only two weeks away!  I need to call vendors and cancel and- oh God, I have to call my family- what do I tell them, Shou?"
"Hey, hey, hey," Shouto chanted soothingly, grabbing his keys and shoving his wallet into his darting out his front door.  "It'll be okay.  I'm on my way to you right now.  Go to the kitchen, make yourself a cup of tea, okay?"
"Okay," you whined, a pitiful sound that made Shouto's heart twist unpleasantly in his chest.
"Just wait for me a little longer," Shouto pleaded.
"I will, I promise."
"I'm holding you to that," Shouto warned as he hung up, picking up his pace until he was running full speed down the sidewalk  towards your apartment.
Tumblr media
The first hour after Shouto's arrival was one long stretch of you sobbing into your arms at the dining room table while Shouto plied you into sipping from your tea and taking tiny bites of the sandwich he had prepared for you.  Once you were too dehydrated to cry anymore, Shouto had refreshed your mug of tea and led you to the living room couch; settling on the cushion next to you while you curled up under a blanket.
Half-packed boxes were pushed up against the walls and the shelves that had always been over stuffed with thrift store paperbacks and picture frames were eerily empty and freshly dusted.  It was disorienting, to see your personality slowly draining from a room he had come to associate so strongly with you.  Following his gaze to the moving boxes, you groaned and rubbed a tired hand across your face.
"I let my lease expire.  I was supposed to move in with Seiji when we got back from our honeymoon," you whimpered.  "Now, not only am I single, but I'm on the verge of being homeless too."
"Don't worry," Shouto murmured comfortingly, taking your hand into his.  "You can stay with me while you get this all figured out."
"Shouto, no.  I couldn't ask that of you-"
"Well, it's a good thing you aren't asking then," Shouto sniffed haughtily.  "I'm offering."
"I- okay.  But it'll just be for a little while," you insisted.  "Just until I can find a new place."
"If that's what you want."
"I mean," you laughed wetly. "What I want is for someone to pick me and mean it.  Why am- why am I never enough, Shou?"
"That's not true at all," Shouto insisted, tugging on your hand until you took the hint and shuffled across the cushions towards him; offering up the corner of the blanket that he gladly accepted while you dropped your head onto his shoulder with a piteous whine.
"He got a job offer all of a sudden, just totally out of the blue," you explained sadly.  "It's a position in a company he'd applied to before.  It's pretty much his dream job, but the pay wasn't high enough to make the increased workload worthwhile."
"But the new offer was higher?"
"Way higher.  And the benefits package was jaw dropping," you rubbed at your face with a tired hand while Shouto kicked the temperature of his left side up a couple degrees.  "I was honestly so excited for Seiji!  It's an amazing opportunity and I'm so happy that people are finally starting to appreciate the quality of his work."
Shifting to pull a crumpled wad of tissues from the pocket of your PJs, you blow your nose gently before continuing.  "But he just accepted the job without talking to me.  We're about to get married- well, we were, anyway.  But he didn't even talk to me about it!  He just assumed that I'd be totally okay with moving away from my friends and family, throwing away my career, and following him!"
A large yawn is pulled from the depths of your exhausted soul as you press closer to Shouto, basking in the comforting heat emanating from him.
"And, I don't know?  Maybe I would have been if he'd talked to me?  Allowed us to make the decision together instead of deciding something this big on his own."
"But he didn't," Shouto commiserated, wrapping an arm around your shoulders to hold you fast to his side.
"No, he didn't.  But what Seiji did do was give me an ultimatum.  I either go with him, or the wedding is off," you whispered miserably.  "I want a partner, not a parent.  I need to have a say in what happens in my life; some sort of agency over my future."
"I understand that feeling very well," Shouto hummed, running a hand soothingly up and down your arm.
"I know ya' do," you murmured, body slumping into his as you slowly drifted off to sleep.
"I can't say that I understand Takai's priorities, but it must have been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him to choose a job over you," Shouto mused quietly.
"I guess?  I dunno.  'm not very good with numbers 'n stuff," you mumbled.  "But Seiji said that Excelsior Investments has a real good reputation.  He talked 'bout 'em a lot."
Shouto's body tensed minutely under your cheek, but you were too far gone to realize the subtle shift in his demeanor.
Tumblr media
"Hello, Mom," Shouto greeted with a smile as he pressed a kiss to her cheek on his way through the front door.
"Shouto!" Rei laughed in delight, closing the door gently behind him.  "What a lovely surprise!  I wasn't expecting you today!"
"I'm sorry for not calling first.  I'm just making a quick stop on my way home this morning," Shouto explained as he swapped his loafers for the house slippers his mother kept for all her children.  Even Touya had a pair set into the shoe closet, never used but there just the same.
"You were out?  In your pajamas?" Rei gasped, scandalized by the notion her son had been parading about town in house clothes.
"It was an emergency situation," Shouto explained with an apologetic wince.  "I promise that I don't routinely go out dressed like this."
"An emergency?" Rei inquired, plodding down the hallway on silent feet, Shouto trailing after her.  "Is everything alright?"
"Not at the moment.  But I'm optimistic for the future," Shouto assured her.  "I'm actually here to ask Father a couple of questions.  Is he in?"
"You know he is," Rei sighed, settling herself down into a large wing back chair, a book splayed over the arm to keep track of her place. "He's such a homebody these days!  I had to join a book club to get a little bit of time away from him each week!" Rei laughed, tapping on the spine of the book before she picked it up again.
"That sounds like a good thing for both of you," Shouto said in approval.  "How's the book so far?"
"Well, it's a bit more, ah- salacious than what I would normally read," Rei admitted sheepishly, the pale skin of her cheeks burning red.  "But I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would."
"I'm glad," Shouto said sincerely.  "I'll let you get back to it.  I assume Father is in his office?"
"Oh, probably," Rei muttered distractedly as she dove back into her book, her dark blush quickly creeping down her neck as she lost herself in the suggestive prose.
Chuckling as he exited the parlor, Shouto quickly made his way to his Father's office on the far side of the house.  It was quiet when he arrived, and if it weren't for the warm glow of light shining through the cracks around the door Shouto wouldn't have known his Father was there.  His Father's presence had become more muted as the years passed, a far cry from the thunderous man who had stalked these halls when he was a child.
Without knocking, Shouto slid the door open and walked into the room.  Enji sat at his massive desk, shoulders hunched in as he carefully fiddled with something, a pair of magnifying glasses perched at the end of his nose.  A tall shelf of completed scale models stood behind him, the tiny vehicles assembled with varying levels of care and attention to detail; a testament to his developing skill base.  Shouto took note of the open box at his Father's elbow, a replica of one of the fighter jets that accompanied Star and Stripe printed on the front, the Heroine's portrait beaming brightly in the corner.
"Model kits, huh?  You and Mom are picking up hobbies left and right these days," Shouto said in lieu of a greeting, eying the various tools scattered across the desktop.
"Need some way to pass the time," Enji said, readjusting his hold on what had to be the tiniest pair of pliers Shouto had ever seen in his life.  "May as well be this."
"They probably make larger tools that would be easier for you to use."
"Probably," Enji grunted, struggling to insert a tiny peg into its proper hole.  "But this way teaches me to be patient; gentle."
A tiny click sounds out and Enji leans back in his chair, a satisfied smirk on his face as he carefully tucks his in-progress aircraft carefully back into its box.  He shoves his magnifying glasses onto the top of his head, the nose piece tangling into his white streaked hair.  Shouto used to worry about growing up to resemble his father, but as the years passed on it was the opposite that proved true.  With a scar marring his face, chunks of graying hair winding through bright red, and his form leaning with age; Enji bore a stronger resemblance to his youngest son than to the pictures of himself that lined his office walls; magazine covers and promotional photos from his prime Hero years.
"What brings you out to visit dressed so…casually," Enji enquired, rocking back in his chair.
"I got a call from a friend late last night.  She was very distressed," Shouto stated, strolling over to a bookshelf to examine the gold-printed titles on the spines.  "Turns out, her fiancé received a very sudden and generous job offer he couldn't pass up."
"Doesn't sound like a very distressing situation to me," Enji rumbled, using his hand to lazily brush tiny slivers of plastic into a pile in the middle of his workspace.  "Seems like a good opportunity."
"It is.  Maybe too good of an opportunity," Shouto mused.  "And from your private investment company no less."
"And?  You're upset I'm offering competitive salaries these days?"
"No, I'm upset that you're, once again, meddling in my affairs!" Shouto roared, spinning abruptly to face his Father.
"I did what needed to be done," Enji sniffed, crossing his arms across his chest in an instinctual act of intimidation.  "The situation was fast approaching a point of no return.  It was a last ditch effort to tip the scales in your favor."
"And did it ever occur to you that I wouldn't want you to do that?  That I wouldn't ever trade a single moment of her happiness for mine?"
"Those two things don't have to be mutually exclusive," his Father said pointedly.
"You've ruined her life!" Shouto bellowed, ruffling a hand through his hair in frustration.  "And when she finds out what you've done she won't want anything to do with me!"
"She doesn't have to find out."
"Are you serious?" Shouto laughed in disbelief.  "You want me to do what, exactly?  Just pretend that my Father didn't lure her fiancé away and torpedo her future in some misguided attempt to play matchmaker?"
"I didn't lure him away.  Honestly, there's no need to be so lurid," Enji grunted in reproach. "I simply made him an offer and he made a choice."
"I saw the offer you made him," Shouto seethed, shoving his hands into the pocket of his sweatshirt to help repress the urge to start swinging at his Father's smug face.   "There wasn't much room for any choice in between all those zeros."
"I'm not even sure what you're upset with me about, Shouto," Enji sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in mounting frustration.  "You finally have a chance to woo back Deku's secretary-"
"Personal Assistant," Shouto corrected sharply.
"Whatever," Enji waved his hand dismissively.  "And instead of making the most of the opportunity, you show up here to complain about it."
"I didn't come here to complain, I came here to warn you," Shouto hissed from behind clenched teeth.  "Stay away from me, stay away from her, and mind your own damn business!"
"I've played my hand," Enji said, dropping his glasses back down onto the bridge of his nose and picking up a new runner of model pieces to cut out.  "I'm all out of moves.  If you fuck this up now there's nothing more I can do for you."
"Good.   You've done too much already."
"Is that all the aspersions you have to cast at me today?"  Enji said as he picked up his snippers and contemplated which sprue to cut first. "I really want to try and make good headway on this before lunch."
"As much as I would love to stay and insult you all day, I have more important things to do," Shouto grunted, striding quickly towards the office door, pausing with his fingers on the handle.
"I never told you about her," Shouto realized suddenly.  "How did you find out?"
"The Australia mission," Enji said, carefully working on cutting out the next wing piece.  "You had pictures of her all over your desk.  I recognized her as Deku's Sec- Assistant and put two and two together."
"You know, normal parents ask their children about their lives instead of poking their nose around where it doesn't belong," Shouto informed his Father dryly as he finally pushed the door open.
"Would you have told me if I asked?"
"No," Shouto admitted readily.  "I wouldn't have."
"Well, there you have it," Enji said.  "Tell your Mother I'll be late to lunch.  I'm a bit behind in my work here."
"Fine," Shouto groused as he stormed away, leaving his Father’s office door open behind him.
"Ungrateful brat," Enji muttered, eyes darting to the framed picture of Rei occupying the corner of his desk.  Hands stilling, he sets his clippers down with a thoughtful hum, examining his wife's gentle smile before pulling off his glasses and raising his arms in a joint-popping stretch.
"Nothing here that can't wait, I suppose," he mumbled to himself, walking towards his open office door.  "I wonder what's for lunch."
Moving you out had been a fairly straightforward affair.  Minus your bed, the rest of the furniture had conveyed with the apartment and just needed a quick once-over with a hand vacuum before it was in good enough shape to not impact your security deposit.  Deciding you wanted to avoid the hassle of renting a storage unit just for your mattress, you had posted it in a local internet sale group for next to nothing and had it hauled away the next day by an incredibly thankful college student and the friends he had bribed into helping him with the promise of pizza and beer.
The rest of your things were carefully boxed up and labeled before being picked up by a small transportation company that promised to have them delivered to Shouto's apartment by the end of the day.  Which left you both sprawled out on his living room floor, surrounded by take out containers and waiting for their arrival.
Shouto stabbed morosely at his beef & broccoli, a lone florette reduced to mush under the unrelenting onslaught from his fork while you looked on in concern.
"Everything okay, Shouto?  Are you having second thoughts about me being here?"
"What- no!" Shouto rushed to assure you, head whipping back and forth at the force of his shake.  "I'm happy to have you here.  Trust me, it isn't that."
"Then what is it?" You pry gently, knocking your shoulder into his in a show of support.
"Do you- do you remember when you first told me about Takai's job offer and the wedding being canceled?"
"Oh, you mean the worst day of my life?  I might remember a thing or two." You reminisced flatly, nibbling half-heartedly some sort of noodle dish.
"One of the things you mentioned was the name of the company Takai went to work for, Excelsior Investments?  Well, it turns out that's…my Father's investment company."
"Oh," you mumble numbly. "That's uh, well.  Huh."
"I'm so sorry. I just-"
"Did you ask him to do it?" You asked quietly, pushing a water chestnut to the side of your take out container.
"Of course not!" Shouto assured you.  "If I'd have known what he was planning I would have said or done something, but I didn't- I didn't know."
"Then you have nothing to be sorry for," you assured him firmly, peeling open a container of fried rice.
"He's my Father.  I feel like there's some level of familial accountability to be had here."
"Please," you snort inelegantly.  "Your Father has a long, documented history of assholish buffoonery.  You can't possibly shoulder all the blame for his wrong doings."
"I know that," Shouto sighed in frustration. "I just feel really awful about this particular misdeed."
"Because it's me?"
"Because it's you," he nodded in agreement.
Humming thoughtfully, you crush a fortune cookie inside the wrapper, pulling open the plastic and extracting the paper strip from amongst the broken cookie shards. Clearing your throat, you held the paper up in front of your face.
"You aren't responsible for other people's actions, only your own," you said seriously, nodding sagely to the fortune in your hand. "Wise words."
"Wait," Shouto drawled, eyes narrowing in suspicion.  "Let me see that fortune."
"No need for that!" You laughed, tucking the paper close to your chest.  "Just let the wisdom of the cookie flow over you."
"You know what flows better than wisdom? The truth."
"Ugh, fine," you grumbled, crumpling the fortune up and tossing it at Shouto.  He snags it out of the air and makes a show out of smoothing out the creases before he starts to read.
"'A close friend will soon reveal a hidden talent'," Shouto recited before wrinkling his nose in distaste.  "Yours was better."
"I know," you replied haughtily, popping one of the cookie shards into your mouth.  "You should have just let me have that one."
"Yet another thing to be sorry for I suppose," Shouto sighed, adding the fortune to the pile of used napkins and trash accumulating on his coffee table.
"No!  We just went over this!  You can't blame yourself for what happened," you whined, turning to face him head on.  "Your Father isn't even really to blame for this either."
"What?" Shouto croaked in surprise, nearly choking on a mouthful of rice.
"I mean, don't get me wrong; Endeavor is a very easy and very tempting scapegoat," you sighed deeply, shoulders heaving from the force of it. "But ultimately, all he did was offer a really good job to my fiancé- my ex-fiancé, " you corrected with a sad shake of your head.
"Seiji is the one who decided that only his opinion mattered; that he alone got to decide the course of our shared life together.  That what I wanted didn't matter," you explained, voice warbling as you attempted to hold in another wave of frustrated tears. "That ultimately, I didn't matter."
"Come here," Shouto whispered, opening his arms in an invitation for you to climb into his embrace.  Quickly taking him up on his offer, you buried your face into the crook of his neck just in time for the torrent of tears you were repressing to break free and soak into his shoulder.  His warm hand ran in soothing circles across your back while Shouto quietly cooed comforting noises into your ear.
"Would you look at that?" He said as he reached for the fortune he discarded earlier, clearing his throat in a dramatic way.
"This one says 'You are the most important person in the world and matter more than anyone.' "
"It does not say that," you laughed, snorting through your tears.
"Shhh," Shouto hushed. "Just let the wisdom of the cookie flow over you."
Tumblr media
Shouto had never been particularly fond of his apartment.  Admittedly, the view it offered was lovely and his landlord was always very responsive and quick to solve any issues that arose, but he had never been able to recreate the comfortable feeling his dorm back at Heights Alliance possessed.  Fuyumi had gifted him a couple of throw pillows for his couch when he had first moved in that added a nice splash of color to his living area, but did little to give his apartment the welcoming atmosphere he craved.
But after just a couple months of cohabitation with you, his apartment felt more like home to him than ever before.  Initially you had been incredibly careful to keep all of your possessions within the confines of the guest room Shouto had offered up to you, but after a week or two of stumbling over the numerous moving boxes you had scattered across the floor you reluctantly agreed to utilize the storage opportunities the other rooms provided.
Your movies were piled up next to the TV in the living room, books filling the empty shelves in his office, and picture frames tucked into every corner and crevice you could find.  Shouto's favorite additions were the ever shifting signs of life you left behind; a sweater abandoned over the back of the couch, a recently washed bowl drying in the rack next to the sink, the lingering fragrance of unfamiliar toiletries when he stepped into the shower.  It made him feel less lonely, knowing that someone else was nearby.
And the knowledge that it was you , specifically, who was so close at hand?  That brought back a feeling of elation Shouto never thought he'd get to experience again; the same feeling he'd get when you'd pull him by the hand across the threshold of your old apartment, giggling and fluttering your eyelashes coyly.  It was an inexplicably heady mix of excitement and tranquility that set his heart hammering as he drew closer to his apartment door every evening.
"I'm home!" Shouto called as stepped into the apartment, tossing his keys into their assigned bowl.
"Welcome back, Shou!" You called back, greeting accompanied by the sounds of scraping utensils and something heartily bubbling on the stove.
"I'm home," he repeated quietly to himself, heart soaring at the sound of you puttering around in the kitchen.  Shouto gazed out fondly across the living, appreciating all the homey touches you had added today.  Your purse had been dropped to the floor, laying sideways in a heap with a tube of lip balm peeking out from the side pocket.  A chunky blanket was sloppily folded and draped over the arm of the couch; the TV on but muted with subtitles scrolling lazily at the bottom of the screen.
"I'm really home."
Tumblr media
"Di' I ever tell you sorry?" Shouto slurred, a crystal whiskey glass empty in his hand.
"You say sorry for lotsa stuff," you giggled from your resting spot across Shouto's legs.  "You apologized to a fork fer dropping it las' week."
"I'm serious!" Shouto insisted, lifting his legs up so you rolled down them like a ramp towards him, arms flailing wildly.
"Woah!" You called out unsteadily, using his shoulders to pull yourself up into his lap while the room spun, bracing your knees on either side of his hips.  You held a shaking hand across your mouth, swallowing forcefully with wide eyes.  "I'm gonna' throw up if you do tha' again."
"Focus!" Shouto scolded, bopping your forehead playfully as you settled down onto his lap.  "I wanna 'pologize for all the stuff I did when we were datin'."
"Shouto. Shouto, Shouto, Shouto," you chanted sweetly as you held his face in between your hands.  "You've already said sorry a million times fer all tha', all tha' stuff."
"I…I don' remember ever sayin' it," Shouto muttered, his forehead crinkled in deep retrospection.
"Not with- not always with words, " you explain, running a single finger across the seam of his mouth, giggling when his lower lip caught on the pad of your finger and pulled the lip down into a pout.  "But you've said sorry over and over 'gain with your actions."
"Yeah?" He breathed, hips shifting under yours.
"Uh-huh," you agreed, rocking into him in response; earning a prolonged moan for your efforts.  "You're always so kind to me; so caring, so- ah! " You gasp as the friction between you shifts just so and sends a sudden crackle of pleasure shooting up your spine.  Shouto's hands rise up to firmly grip your hips, holding you in place as he grinds against you.  His pace is agonizingly slow as he drags you down his full length from root to tip.
"I miss- I miss us," Shouto gasped raggedly, peppering kisses across your collarbone.
"I miss us too, Shou," you whined, fingers grasping desperately at the back of his shirt as you rolled your hips in tiny circles, the only movement allowed by the vice-like grip he had on your waist.  "But I'm scared.  What if- what if 's just like b'fore?"
"It won't be," Shouto promised, his tongue lapping at a bead of sweat welling up in the dip of your clavicle.  "Jus' give me a chance to prove it to you.  Please."
Your hips stilled as you considered his plea, Shouto gently rocking against you as he waited for your response with bated breath.
"Okay," you responded carefully.  "But you've gotta' let me up."
"Right," Shouto agreed, releasing your hips instantly.  "We're movin' too fast."
"No, I'm just gonna' throw up," you groan as you frantically scramble off of his lap and dash for the bathroom, the sound of intermittent retching easily heard in the living room.
"You okay?" Shouto called, stumbling onto all fours as he attempted to stand.
"Ugh, not yet," you yell miserably into the toilet, voice echoing against the sides of the porcelain bowl.
"I'll get you some water!" Shouto said, crawling along the floor to the kitchen, accidentally looping the ottoman twice before getting his bearings.
"We shoul- should probab'ly call it a night after this," you sighed as you took a sip from the half empty cup Shouto had delivered to you on shaky legs, the rest of the water having been spilled across the floor during his journey from the kitchen.
"Tha's a good idea," Shouto swallowed uneasily, sliding down the wall and sinking into a heap on the bath mat next to you as the room started spinning.  "But just so you know, 'm gonna' kiss you first thing tomorrow.  So make sure you brush your teeth real good once yer done throwin' up, okay?"
You shot him a quick thumbs up, head once again shoved into the toilet bowl as another round of dry heaves rolled through you; the last thing Shouto saw before he blacked out.
Tumblr media
"Oh my goodness!" A soft voice called out from behind you in the foyer of the tearoom, Shouto's eyes widening as he quickly spun around.
"Mom!" He laughed, pulling Rei forward into a hug while the gaggle of women behind them joined together in a collective 'awww' at the display.
"You all go ahead without me," Rei giggled, motioning the group of women to pass by her.  "I'm going to catch up with my son for a moment or two."
"Alright, but don't take too long," a woman with star shaped freckles dotting her skin called back.  "We might start discussing chapter twenty-six without you!"
"You wouldn't dare!" Rei gasped in mock affront, pulling away from her son to waggle a finger at the star-speckled woman.
"We don't want to keep you from your meeting, Mom.  I can just call you later tonight to catch up."
"'We'?" Rei blinked inquisitively, stepping back far enough to finally catch sight of you over Shouto's shoulder.  "You're here together?"
"Hello," you waved at her hesitantly.  "It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Todoroki.  I'm Deku's Assistant-"
"And my girlfriend," Shouto interrupted, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you to his side with a bright smile that made your heart skip enough beats you were worried it might actually be an arrhythmia.
"Er , yeah," you mumbled sheepishly.  "That too."
"It's so nice to finally meet you!" Rei gushed sincerely.  "Shouto has told me so much about you, it's good to be able to put a face to the name."
Sensing your rising discomfort at being the sole focus of his Mother's attention, Shouto points to the book poking out of Rei's handbag.
"Is that the book you're all reading this month?" He inquired, squeezing your hip gently to remind you to breathe.
"It is," Rei nodded enthusiastically, lifting the book up for her son to examine.  "We're nearly finished and on pace to start the sequel novel next week."
"Oh," you squeaked in surprise at the title, eyes widening.  "That's a…bold choice for a book club."
"Have you read it?" Rei asked, sliding the book back into her bag with an excited grin.
"I…have," you nodded uneasily, a smile pulled tightly across your face.
"Wonderful!  We can meet up for lunch soon and discuss it.  How does that sound?"
"Great," you squeaked, pained smile widening as your skin took on a sickly pallor.
"Shouto will send me your contact details, won't you, Dear?"
"Of course," Shouto nodded in assent, noting the distressed glaze shining in your eyes.
"Have a nice meal you two," Rei said with a parting wave.  "And expect a text from me later tonight- both of you!"
Shouto remained waving until his Mother was out of sight, sequestered into a side room with the rest of her book club before he took your face in his hands, staring down at you in sharply mounting concern.
"You look ill.  Are you feeling alright?"
"I just agreed to go out for lunch with your Mother and casually discuss erotica ," you whimpered, sweat beading across your forehead. "I might never be okay again!"
"Am I right in assuming that congratulations are in order?" Takai inquired, sliding into the space next to Shouto you had just vacated in order to track down the waiter carrying around the tray full of mini quiches.
"You'd be correct," Shouto nodded stiffly, watching as you excitedly flagged down a member of the waitstaff only to wilt in disappointment when she only had finger sandwiches to offer.
"I figured as much," Takai sighed deeply, seeming to shrink at least two feet as his shoulders sagged.  "Her ring is exquisite.  I'm pretty sure it can be seen from space when the sun hits it."
"My Mom and Sister got a bit carried away when we went ring shopping," Shouto coughed into his fist, abashed.  "She picked out her wedding band though.  It's a more…practical design."
"She has good taste, so I'm sure it's lovely."
Shouto hummed in agreement, smiling as you attempted to convince the correct waiter into relinquishing the entire tray of quiches into your care.
"How's the new job treating you?"
"It's…alright most days.  Your Father is a difficult man to work for," Takai chuckled, tapping the stem of his champagne glass mindlessly.
"My Father is a difficult man, period," Shouto snorted.
"The work itself is good though, challenging and rewarding."
"Was it worth it?" Shouto asked, a fond smile curling at his lips as you pumped your fist victoriously as the waiter passed his fully stocked tray of canapés into your arms.
"Not in the slightest," Takai admitted with a sigh. "Not a day goes by that I don't regret my choice."
"I can sympathize."
"You're the only one who really can, I think," Takai acknowledged, doubling over to deposit his empty glass on the table beside him.  "It's funny, really.  I'm so good with numbers it didn't even occur to me that I was making a terrible miscalculation until it was too late."
"That's just how it goes sometimes, I think.  We need to be brought low to give ourselves room to grow."
"Hmm, perhaps," Takai pondered. "But I think I've grown quite enough for two lifetimes, thank you very much.  I've had to duck through doorways since I was five."
"Do you want to see her?  It looks like she's finishing up her victory lap and making her way back," Shouto said, motioning across the room to where you were weaving carefully between dancing couples, tray balanced across your forearms and an intense look of concentration on your face.
"I don't-," Takai swallowed, watching you with fond eyes. "I don't know what I would even say .  I need more time, I think."
"There's always next year's Christmas Party," Shouto offered magnanimously.
Takai grunted in acknowledgement, tucking his hands into his pockets and jingling his keys nervously.
"I suppose this is my cue to leave.  Take care of her."
"I intend to," Shouto swore solemnly.  "See you next year."
Takai slipped out just as quietly as he arrived, disappearing down the main entrance hall mere moments before you arrived, pilfered tray in hand.
"Jackpot!" You laughed, holding up the tray for Shouto to examine.
"A successful hunt, I see," he laughed, picking up a bacon and mushroom quiche, popping it into his mouth with an appreciative moan.  "How're these so good?"
"We can have these at the wedding, right?  Eight courses and all of them are quiche."
"A sound plan," Shouto nodded.  "But we need to taste each and every quiche on this tray to be certain."
"For the sake of quality control," you agreed readily, shoving two of the tiny bites into your mouth, humming happily as you chewed.
"How about we get out of here and head up to our room?" Shouto whispered into your ear.  "Just you, me, and a tray of stolen cheese pies?
"That's the sexiest thing anyone has ever said to me," you gasped, eyes sparkling in delight. "I'm so happy I'm marrying you."
"Sweetheart?" Shouto called, staring at the calendar app in his phone with a furrowed brow.  "Why does the calendar say 'Wedding Dress Shopping' next Saturday?"
"Because I'm going wedding dress shopping next Saturday," you explained simply, hefting a large watering can up into the kitchen sink.
"But you already have a wedding dress?  I remember seeing you in it before I almost died."
"You didn't almost die!"
"Pretty sure I was dying.  There was a bright light-"
"That was the emergency lights."
"-and an ethereal figure in white-"
"That was me, Shou!"
"-and then everything went dark-"
"You passed out!"
"-so from my point of view it looked pretty grim for a minute there," Shouto explained.  "But I digress; you already have a wedding dress."
"Okay, yes.  I have a wedding dress," you capitulate, turning off the faucet as the can finishes filling.  "But it's a dress that I picked out to marry another man in.  It's probably bad luck to use it for our wedding."
Shouto's arms suddenly appeared on either side of you, bracketing you up against the counter.  With nowhere else to go, you spun around slowly to face him, surprised by the serious expression on his face.
"Shouto?  What's wrong?"
"I have imagined marrying you a thousand times in my head," he uttered sincerely, arms sliding slowly off the counter to encircle your waist and pull you firmly against his chest.  "Big weddings, small weddings, weddings in a church, weddings on a beach, and even one very eventful wedding on a capsizing boat- I've imagined them all.  But do you know the one thing all those scenarios had in common?"
You shook your head, mesmerized by the intensity of your fiancé's stare.
"You, walking towards me, in that dress," Shouto whispered fiercely, dropping his forehead down onto yours with a gentle thunk. "I never thought that I would get to be here. I went to sleep every night dreading the coming morning because it meant that I would be one day closer to watching you marrying someone else.  Our wedding will, quite literally, be the moment when my wildest dream comes true."
"Oh, Shouto," you whisper, throat tight from your welling emotions.
"You can pick every other detail of this wedding and I won't say a word.  The music, the catering, the flowers; all yours.  You can even make it Dynamight themed for all I care!  Just please, please, wear that dress," he pleaded, pulling your hands up to his mouth, softly kissing each of your knuckles as he awaited your response.
There was only one possible answer you could give to a request like that.
"Okay."
The guests had been seated, the officiant had shuffled in, and your bridesmaids had been escorted down the aisle to the bright and joyous calls of violins, each of your attendants walking stiffly with a dazed look on their face as they clutched at the arm of one of his Pro Hero groomsmen.  The poor woman assigned to Kirishima seemed to be having an especially difficult time, her face beet red and eyes glassy as Eijiro continually flexed his arm under her vice-like grip.
The only thing missing was you.
The thrum of excitement that pounded through his veins when the music from the string quartet shifted to your processional song was likely the most intense feeling Shouto had ever experienced.  The guests all shifted in their seats, seemingly just as anxious as he was to get their first glance of the bride. The cello crooned out a note, deep and rich, and the violins and viola rushed to join; a joyous explosion of song that called out for you to join them.
One breathless moment later, you did.
If Shouto thought you were beautiful the first time he saw you in your wedding dress, it was nothing compared to the vision you presented today.  Coiffed and styled to perfection, and very notably not covered in his blood and disaster debris, you were a vision more exquisite than anything his imagination had conjured up during those impossibly long years without you.
And then you smiled at him; a brilliant and rapturous grin that burned itself into Shouto's very being; a brand upon his heart that already beat solely for you.  Whenever he closed his eyes and thought of you, it would be this moment his brain would conjure up forever more.
"You doing all right?" Izuku whispered into his ear.
"Never better," Shouto sighed dreamily, a look of pure adoration on his face as he watched you take your first steps down the aisle towards him and your future together as husband and wife.
"So," you smiled, leaning forward to press your lips to the underside of your husband's jaw as the crew of wedding photographers spread out around you, the flashes from their cameras causing the crystal chandelier above you to twinkle majestically.  "How did reality compare to your dreams, Dear Husband?"
"Nothing could possibly compare to this," Shouto rumbled, arms winding around your waist as he pulled you in for a proper kiss.
"Nothing?" You mumbled against his lips, nuzzling your nose against his playfully.  "I find it hard to believe that with all the time you spent imagining me in my wedding dress you never once imagined getting out of it."
"Oh," Shouto gasped, his shock quickly melting away as a devious grin overtook his face.  "That does open up a few new possibilities."
"It certainly does," you agreed with a pleased hum.  "And I can't wait to explore them all with you, but I didn't spend seven hours getting ready just to bail early and miss out on cake.  So look sharp!" You commanded, patting his cheek fondly and adjusting the position of your shoulder at the lead photographer's behest.
"Of course, Love," Shouto agreed, his hand sliding seamlessly from your hip to derriere and giving a firm squeeze; the camera shutters snapping and immortalizing your wide-eyed gasp of surprise and Shouto's devilish grin.
Tumblr media
You couldn't help but chuckle at your husband's enthusiasm; Shouto bouncing on his heels as he waited for the volunteers to return.
"It's been a long time," he muttered anxiously, wiping his sweaty palms on the back of his pants.  "Do you think he'll recognize me?"
"I don't know," you replied honestly, phone out and your camera app ready to start recording.  "You're a pretty unforgettable guy, but have no clue what the long-term memory capabilities of a koala are."
"Right," Shouto sighed, taking a deep breath and settling back down onto flat feet.  "I need to relax and keep my expectations low."
"Are you guys ready?" a volunteer cried from behind the door.
"YES!" Shouto cried out, throwing his arms up in whooping in excitement.
"So much for keeping calm," you laugh, hitting the record button on your phone as the door swung open and Kodoroki was carried into view, the Koala screeching excitedly when he noticed Shouto.
"Shouto!" You squealed in awe, hand flying to your mouth as your eyes began watering.  "They dressed him up for you!"
The volunteer passed Kodoroki off to your husband, taking a moment to straighten the bow tie and tiny top hat that sat between the Koala's massive ears.
"And that's not all!  We have a surprise for you too, Mrs. Todoroki!" The volunteer announced, motioning to someone in the hallway.  Another koala was carried into view, a sparkling white tutu tied around her middle and flower crown looped over one ear.  You fumbled your phone into the awaiting hands of one of the workers surrounding you, excitedly reaching towards the koala making its way towards you.
"Oh my goodness," you gasp as the gray koala is deposited into your arms.  "She's so cute!"
"Alright, squeeze together so we can get both of the happy couples in frame!" The lead caretaker called, waving their hand to indicate that you and Shouto should shuffle closer to each other.
"I love you more than I can ever describe and our wedding was absolutely perfect," you told your husband in a single rushing breath, staring down at the koala in your arms with shining eyes. "But I think this might be the best part of getting married by far."
"Yeah," Shouto agreed as he smiled fondly down at Kodoroki, running his index finger across the brim of his top tiny hat as the Koala grunted.  Despite how happy he was to be reunited with his friend, Shouto couldn’t help but cast lingering glances over to you.  His heart warmed as he watched you sway soothingly with your koala perched on your hip; the hazy outlines of a new dream for your future taking root in his mind.
The only thing that ever managed to surpass that honeymoon visit to the wildlife center was when you received a package from them years later, a tiny plush Koala tucked inside layers of pale green tissue paper.  You immediately placed the small toy in its rightful place; nestled between a wedding edition Kodoroki doll and his plush bride on the highest shelf overlooking the nursery.
