You were still rather new to the small town when you'd entered the small bookstore looking for materials that'd be good for your newly acquired teaching position. Upon entering the store itself gave off a first impression of being heavily disorganized and all over the place, but with closer inspection you'd noticed it was rather neatly organized just in the owner's own self appointed system.

It was as you trailed your finger along several titles stopping to gently pull out a weathered copy of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, that you'd noticed a brush of movement, silent in every way but to the eye. Just barely seen over the top of a neighboring shelf, you'd spotted a person puzzling over the books in front of them, or at least it seemed that way with what little you could see of flickering eyes that seemed bluer than the sky outside and furrowed brows. You hadn't meant to watch the person, but each time you'd tried to pull your eyes away, back to the shelf in front of you, you'd found them drifting back to glance at those clear blue eyes. After the third time this happened, you felt an embarrassed frustrated flush heat the tips of your ears as you made yet another attempt to page through the copy in your hands, only managing to leaf through a few more pages before finding your eyes trailing upwards once more, only now your eyes met the clear blue as they'd finally noticed your own quiet movement.

Clean. That was your first impression of him. His hair sweated back behind his ears and fell in soft waves to the very top of his shoulders. The man unphased, and seemingly endlessly curious leaned forward, smile somewhat mischievous now, said, "I truly hope its not too forward, but I've never had the grace of seeing you around before, let alone in my shop, may I ask for your name?"

Stuttering out your name, you felt the heat return, but more as a simmering in your chest as you heard the man speak more, his accent a perfect compliment to the rest of his perfectly imperfect-ness. But the man, completely oblivious to your quiet replies, only smiles wider at you and bids you welcome to his shop once more as he introduced himself to you before asking, "And what brings such a fresh face to this part of the world?"

"Oh, I've, uh, I've been hired on to be the town's school teacher. I haven't come with too much and the books at the school building seemed a little worse for wear, so I'd thought I may come refresh the shelves, so to speak."

Brightening even more- you were almost certain he was partially made of pure light at this point, scared if he got any brighter you would no longer be able to look at him, and what a shame that would be- he pointed to the book still clutched in your hands.

At his offer you felt a bit of relief, and nodded just slightly, "I more so just came in to browse, shocked a store like your own would be in such a small town, but any and all help would be much appreciated Mr. Kenobi."

"Please, no need for formalities, they make me feel stiff and always seem too polite, just Obi Wan is fine. Well as long as you are comfortable with that, my dear."

You truly hadn't meant to spend more than just a few minutes in the bookshop, and possibly only grab two or three books, but you'd noticed that as you'd stepped out of the building after nearly fight with Mr. Ken-, Obi Wan, over whether you were paying for the books or not- he'd eventually won out in just giving you the books, but was unaware of the pennies you'd dropped onto the table quietly by the door as you'd walked out- you'd noticed the midday sun had dipped down as the gold and red hues of sunset started to take over.

As you headed to the small home next to the school house, you felt a nagging sensation at the back of your head, and in turning, you found Obi Wan standing outside his door watching you walk away. Still close enough, you could see his lips turn up once more into a smile as he lifted his hand in a wave, which you returned both, before turning away once more.

The last thing you thought as you'd turned away was how his hair wasn't the sand blonde you'd thought it was in the low light of his shop, but in fact had a coppery hue which formed a glowing hole around him in the dying light of day.

Just. These two men would have made such an impact in Damian’s life. They would do it without any real familial obligation, too. Damian would recognize that they owe him nothing, but they chose to put up with him anyway. Regardless of how difficult and ornery he can be, they stay beside him. And they’re not perfect. In fact, Damian thinks they’re hopeless in a lot of ways, but they’re good, strong, kind people. Damian respects them wholeheartedly (though again, he keeps it largely to himself).

So yes. Father’s day comes around and once Damian understands it, it would become important to him to partake in the tradition. He would put so much thought and effort into a school presentation that would likely really confuse his classmates and maybe his teacher, too. Because they’re well aware that Damian is a Wayne so why isn’t he talking about Bruce? And omgggggg the teacher gently trying to explain that it’s okay that Damian didn’t understand the assignment and Damian just !!! because he understood perfectly. 1) Bruce making the visit and having a talk with Damian and having it explained to him that Damian respects Bruce as his father because he’s his biological father, but Dick is different. So is Jason. And Bruce having to sit with that and really think about life and children and fatherhood. Maybe it’d inspire some more effort outside of patrol and whatnot. (Sorry I’m not very familiar with their dynamic so I’m gonna leave this basic af ahahaha)

2) Dick makes the visit and Damian, uncharacteristic as it is for him, legit slouches in his chair in an attempt to disappear because admin explains what happened. Grimlock is allergic to cat fur and is very scared of those so called 'demons'. When cat will be near, not only will he panic, but the closer it gets, the more he will start to swell and redden, to the point when he will faint.

Sideswipe besides of his dashy looks and polished paint job, he also has natural talent for healing people. His talent was most awakened when the team ended up more and more injured after each fight, and they didn't have a medic on the team, so because of this big pressure he started to learning how to help his mates. Even if Danny and Fixit didn't let him help that much at the begging, sorry not sorry, it's red tampon, he once shoot himself in knees so it's pretty reasonable that they didn't trust him with some time they started to letting him help with small injures. :D

Fixit likes to collect things like figures, toys, etc. and when no one is in base with him he starts to play League of Legends or World of Warcraft XDDD He is also old bot, so he needs from time to time help with fixing himself and usually he asks for this Bee or Danny (he would also ask Drift, but he has too big fingers XDDD)

Strongarm gets pissed of every time when Bee tells the team that he has talk with Prime, because SHE wants to talk with his dad too and ask him one billion questions Their talk looks like this: "Optimus... just told me that-" "WHAT?! WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME SIR?!?!"

Soooo basically i’m gonna rant about WFS season 2 bc I have no friends who like it and need to get this off my chest.

!!SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE BOOK AND SHOW!!

In episode 1 i reaaaaaaally like that they put in the explanation for Podo hating Artham/Peet, it would be kinda weird if he was just being mean for no reason. And the rockroach! It was so cool! Glad to be rid of Zouzab (Me and my siblings were rooting for his death lol). When Peet got captured i was like “noooooo” but also “yes yes yes my favorite part is coming up”

In episode 2 I was just sad bc NUGGET NOOOO!!! Poor Leeli 😢 But also, i was aggravated with Kal and Janner bc like Janner is being pretty mean and Kal is running away from his problems. I was kinda sad that we didn’t see Podos nightmare too.

In episode 3 I was just like MARALY AHHHHHHH and PODO STORY OMGGGGGGG and Kalmar, what were you thinking. It worked, but still.

And last, but definitely not least, episode 4. At first it was like mm ok kinda boring but whatever and then it was like yay McHiggins! and then it was like OH NO DONT TRUST HIM! and then SONG REPRISE??? THE IGIBY FARM ON FIRE IS THAT YOU??? and then THE FORID SWORD OMGOMGOMG AHHHHH I LOVE HIS THEME! yeah so that’s it.

EDIT: I JUST WATCHED EPISODE 5 AND AHHHHHHHHHHH! Ok i was like “Ugh here we go” and then i was like “OMG OSKAR YASSS” and then “KALMAR HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID??” and then “huh they’re kinda over using ‘The Igiby farm on fire” then “OMG A ‘WAITING FOR SOMEONE REPRISE! My review on S&B season 2

So I binged watch Shadow and Bone in on sitting and OMGGGGGGG.

THAT WAS A ROLLERCOASTER RIDE AND I HAVE A FEW THOUGHTS

PLOT

The plot was rushed like it was there is no denying it, but it was also fun in the best way possible. IMO The writers really aced it for TV. You can tell they actually respect the source material and understand it well. I know that a lot of controversy is surrounding season 2 but I would like to point out that I think the writers and actors did BRILLIANT with what time they had. Like I am pretty sure I saw a tweet that said that the writers weren’t sure that they would get the green light for season 3 and with that in mind they were exceptional. They did remove quite a few scenes from R&R and S&S, I really missed alina’s white hair and MAL’s “I am become Blade tattoo”. And as someone who has read the books I missed the character development that was done but at the same time, I have come to realise that adaptations are different from source materials and it’s best to seperate them both. That way you enjoy it more. And my friend (Who hasn’t read the books) loved it even more then me.

Nikolai hiring the crows was absolutely genius, it was a really good introduction

The Crows having to steal the sword plotline was so good was so goodd

The transition for Kaz’s flashback was so good ( Can I just say that I loved the VFX for this season)

KANEJ AND HELNIK ANGST ALMOST KILLED ME

WESPER BEING SO IN LOVE IS AAAHHHHHHHHHH IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE

THE ENDING THOUGH OKAY IK UNPOPULAR OPINION BUT I LOVED THE ENDING BECAUSE ALINA IS SUCH A SLAY IN THIS SEASON AND HER USING THE CUT AND I WAS SO HAPPY THAT SHE DIDN’T LOSE HER POWERS LIKE IK THAT THE THEME WAS POWER CORRUPTS BUT IDFC, LIKE LET IT CORRUPT. INFACT I WANT IT TO CORRUPT. I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON IF ITS HAPPENING

The fight scenes were really impressive like it was done so innovatively.

The plot was like 7.5/10 for me because ik that its a TV show but I still love the books too much, However, my friend gave it a 9.5/10 (She wanted more of the crows)

ACTING

the acting done by each and every charcater was phenomenal. Ben Barnes was amazing as usual, Jessie mei lei added her beautiful depth to Alina’s character, Archie renaux make Mal’s character so much more three dimensional, NIKOLAI, TOLYA,TAMAR AND WYLAN. OMGGG. When I tell you they were fucking perfect like their expressions, their dialogue, their attitude. Jaw droppingly amazing. Daisy was so good as Genya this season like her raw emotion could literally be felt throught the screen. Her acting literally made me hate the Darkling so much. Amita was amazing as Inej, she as born for this role and danielle and Callahan have such amzing chemistry I can cry. Kit young is amazing, I love him so much. I wanted Sujaya to have more screen time because she is amazing but i know she had conflicting schedules but still :(

Freddy carter though,

WHAT THE FUCK

IT WAS LIKE SOMEONE PLUCKED OUT KAZ FROM THE BOOKS AND WAS LIKE HERE YOU GO AND HAVE THE MOST HEART WRENCHING STORY BE DONE IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. LIKE HE KILLED. HE ABSOLUTELY SLAYED WITH THE ACTING. I WAS FLABBERGASTED. OMFGGGG. WHAT WAS THAT. LIKE FREDDY CARTER IS KAZ BREKKER. PERIOD.

OVERALL THE ACTING WAS A 10/10. I could not imagine a more perfect cast.

Conclusion

I Liked the show, had fun with it. The best way to enjoy it is as Leigh said,” Think of it as a fanfiction.” Sepereating the show from the book is the best thing to do for adaptation guys. I understand why people may not like it but still fucking watch it. IDNC that you didnt like it. WATCH IT. I need my Ice heist spin off. <3

Overall it was 8.5/10 ( ik the average is mathematically wrong but idc this is the rating i felt right with)

I and my mom decided to take a small break and go get some food at the airport, I thought that now would be a good time to call F/n, I clicked her contact and listened to it ring, and ring, and ring some more “Hi this is F/n sorry I couldn’t pick up the phone im probably busy” before the voicemail sound started playing I hung up, F/n always responded always, no matter what she was doing, but I just brushed it off and decided to text her

I then took my last bite of food and me and my mom left

after what felt like hours, we got to our new house, my god it was huge! “go ahead and find a room N/n (nickname)” my mom said and I nodded putting in my headphones and played f/b (fav band) before grabbing 2 boxes one filled with clothes the other filled with hygiene products,

I opened the door with a bit of struggle and almost dropped my boxes looking at the entire, I was a HUGE fan of big houses and the way they look so this was amazing, I ran up the stairs forgetting I had 2 boxes in my hand, let’s just say the moment I had reached the top of the stairs my arms were sore

after passing 2 other rooms I opened a door to see a room with 3 windows one leading toward the roof, I sat the boxes down and lead up against the wall, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket only to feel disappointment fill me as there was no response from f/n,

“Y/n come here!” my mom said and I slowly made my way downstairs taking out the headphones as my mom talked to a woman there was a boy standing next to her he was looking down but when he lifted his head up and we locked eyes I imminently ran back upstairs and behind a wall covering my mouth with my hands,

I had just locked eyes with Chandler Riggs, CHANDLER RIGGS IS AT MY DOOR,

“Please come in, I’ll go get my daughter” I heard my mom say as footsteps filled my ears, my heart was racing my breaths were heavy sweat dripping down my head, “hun?” my mom said, and turned her head to see me sitting on the ground looking like a nervous wreck. “are you okay Hun?” she asked and violently shock my head before standing up and pointed to her ear she rolled her eyes at my childishness and leaned down, “Chandler Riggs is literally in our house mom, no I am NOT okay,” I said and she laughed. “come on Y/n you 14 you need to stop being so shy” my mom then pushed me forward so I was standing at the top of the stairs, I could feel Chandler and his mom stair at me, I dug my nails into my hand as I felt my mom erg me to go down the stairs so I did I walked down slowly till we were both standing Infront of them, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't lift my head up not for a second when my moms hand went to my shoulders forcing me to once again lock eyes with Chandler, HOW CAN SOMEINE BE EVEN CUTER IN PERSON OMGGGGGGG

I was internally screaming when I saw Chandler’s face turn into something that looked, disappointed? “this is my Daughter Y/n” my mom said and I looked back down and gave a small wave. “like Y/n L/n? well isn’t this a surprise you going to be working with my son right?” she asked and I nodded, “I’m Gina it’s lovely to meet you” she said and I opened my mouth, “its nice to meet you too” I said quietly shaming myself for not looking at her while she talked. “y/n has always been so bashful my apologies” my mom said and once again I shoved my nails into my hand. “oh that’s Fine, Chandler why don't you introduce yourself?” Gina said and my heart began to race more just by hearing his name, “oh there’s no need, Y/n has told me so much about you” I looked up at my mom with a ‘why would you say that look’ and she chuckled. “she has always loved, what was his name? Carl? since she was little” my mom said and the more she did the more I wanted to jump off a bridge. “Hi I’m Chandler” GOD HIS VOICE WAS NECTOR FROM THE HEAVENS OMGGGGGG AHHHHHHH’

“it was lovely to meet you too but y’all are probably busy with unpacking so we’ll be off, heres my number if you need anything,” Gina said and handed my mom a piece of paper. “Thank you for coming over I’ll see you soon,” my mom said and they left

I just made eye contact with Chandler Fucking Riggs, not once BUT TWICE, wait...why did he look at me like that? was there something On my face? maybe my clothes? did I look at him weirdly? did he think I'm weird?

did I seriously just ruin my first impression with the person I have admired my whole life

I keep thinking back to your Mr. Snake and Wheezy bromance idea, and now I must share with you the other pairings I've thought of to go with that AU XD

Ms. Tarantula and Stupid (Tarantula gets red because Snake claimed orange XD). Stu needs a cool big sister who can probably help him learn a few things! (She did say she mostly learned all her skills on YouTube. Maybe she can recommend Stupid some channels she thinks can help him out?) And I'm certain Tarantula would appreciate another big shoulder buddy when Shark isn't around ^^

As mentioned before, Mr. Piranha and Psycho. They both are the crazy members of their team. They both can appreciate a good brawl; maybe they even spar each other? (If so, I bet they'd both treat it as a free for all. They know the other can handle it XD) Also, Psycho totally nabs Piranhas cool things, but since Piranha comes from a huuuuge family, he just treats it like one of his little siblings 'borrowed' something of his. Psycho could use a sibling anyway.

Though I bet Mr. Piranha and Greasy would work well together too. They both bond over being the only Spanish speakers in their group (maybe even having the same POB? I can't remember where Piranha is from). Talking with the other makes them feel right at home ^^

I also like to think about Greasy and Mr. Shark interacting too XD like, idk maybe Shark offers to help Greasy learn how to talk to women. Greasy agrees happily, thinking that Shark is going to introduce him to a lovely lady. But no, it's just Shark in drag, taking him out on a 'test date'. At least Shark can make a convincing woman XD (Imagine if Shark became another messy bisexual awakening for Greasy. Ok I'll see myself out-)

And of course, the leaders themselves, Mr. Wolf and Smartass. Mr. Wolf isn't as insane as Smarty's team, and he's honestly relaxing to be around. So maybe Smartass wouldn't mind hanging out with him? Like these two meet up for coffee on Tuesdays to talk about... Anything, really. How their weeks went. How life is going on the 'other side' (Even though they're trying to be good, I'm sure that the Bad Guys miss something about their original lives. And I can see the weasels being curious about what 'good guy' lives are like for these former criminals now), etc. Smarty claims that this is just to make sure that Wolf and his crew don't report them to the police, but the gang sees right through that XD (these two better be ready to get called out by Snake and Wheezy XD)

One more thing before I leave. Imagine the Toon Patrol try their hand at turning a new leaf like the Bad Guys! It'd no doubt take a looooong time and alotta effort considering their crimes are a bit worse than the Bad Guys', but still. Maybe Wolf will have enough patience to help them XD though, if this wasn't a crossover and just an AU, who do you think from the WFRR universe could best help the weasels make a turn around?

Ortho decides to be Idia’s younger brother because Idia is someone who can’t be left alone (I’m sure I’m missing something but that’s the gist)

okay whew! so i read wylmpc a few days ago and i had to take some time to process my emotions and feelings. i have a few things i want to say.

1. good god you're an amazing writer. the way you weave everything together is so vivid and you really made me FEEEEEL everything. you painted a gorgeous picture with this piece so props to you on that!!!

2. this one hit home for me, i know you said some it is personal for you as well, and you can really tell. it's so obvious that you took your time with this and you poured so much emotion into it. the way to depicted what y/n was going through was reflective of some of my own choices and i just wanna say you made me feel seen and you validated my decisions so thank you omg😭😭 i've NEVER cried this much reading fanfic before, very beautifully done.

3. idk if you're planning to write more of shuri and her daughter but i would love to see more of that relationship building, if you choose to of course.

overall, i’m just very happy i stumbled upon this work of art, i plan to read more of your work soon when i have the time. but this piece is going to stick with me for a while. again thank you for this representation, i loved all of it even though you made me cry with every word. this turned out longer than i thought it would but i just needed to say all of this to you. ❤️

Thanksgiving is coming tomorrow!

Do you celebrate it? Sometimes gratitude or giving thanks to things may come off as a big and somewhat unpleasant word. It may feel as if you are forced to acknowledge something that you already love, and that kills all the joy in this type of self-care, isn’t it?

That’s why instead of asking myself “what am I most grateful for?” I instead say “what makes me the most happy?” it’s definitely okay to not come up with things that makes you happy at first, it happens to me too! But maybe you can start with something easy…like cats?

So, would you want to make a list (even one thing is enough) of stuff that makes you happy? And you can even explain why if you want to!

I really find it hard to talk to real ppl about my feelings, so they have helped ( and still help, but my mom took some from me bcs I'm "too old":P) me a lottt!! Also they are so comfortable to sleep with omggggggg I love all of them and have been adopting more and more over the years! ( my first was when I was 2, and I now have 14! ( Ik a bit too much ) and since my mom took them away I have 7:( )

2. Thinking about my cat! :3

My mom ( again ) dislikes cats a lot, and we had a cat named Simba (<333333) that I absolutely love and she decided to give him away after several threats abt killing him ( poisoning his food, abandoning him, poisoning him directlyz throwing him out of the window ( I live in the 5th floor ) ) and I have been trying to get the new owner to let me see him and its has been hard, but since now I have ( stole the number from my mom's phone but ITS FOR THE GREATER GOOD OK? ) her number I will try again :) .Thinking about how he would be in a hard time make me happy so yeah gotta include that too :D

3. Music

Ik music is feeling and all of that. I have a designated music time every week and I love and need it! ( currently I am obsessed with "Wrecking ball" by Mother Mother and "CHOKE" from I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME <3333)

heyy girlie (gender neutral) I’ve become way too invested into ur OC Petra and their story .. Just wanted to share some HC’s i thought of over fangirling over them <3

• Petra picks up Spanish from Miguel (Can’t decide if they learn on their own or Miguel takes the time to teach them)

• Possibly sleeps in web sometimes? or web hammock??

• Their suit also has some kind of sugar glider style fabric stretching out from under the arms that help them glide/get around. (appearing as needed)

• ^^ I’d like to think they wouldn’t use it all that much, but every once in a while they just whip it casually and everyone’s like “so they can just fly?” (Material’s sum similar to that whole cape thing Miguel had on at Gwen’a earth)

• They’re extremely in tuned with their spidey sense. Helping them stay ahead from accidental/intentional mishaps from bigger ppl. (Maybe did training/meditation to develop it over the yrs?? Karate kid type beat) Also has really good intuition in general.

• (To go with that ^^) Some individuals who become close with Petra find that their spider senses become instinctively more aware of them and keeps them from accidental mishaps.

(From here on is basically Petra and the gang bc yes to interactions with them )

• Petra becoming part of the “Team Miles” gang >> (Them practically kidnapping Petra into one of their own and making sure they feel included and etc >>>

• Like, they’re 100% in the groupchat

• The gang send all the “short friend” tiktoks in there (They pretend to be annoyed by this)

• Sleepovers >>>>>>

• Petra would melt Rio’s heart.

• Imagine the gang having dinner at Miles’s and Petra’s already pulling out their own tupperware from home. (not wanting to create a fuss or any awkwardness) and Rio just sets down a saucer in front of them with just the tiniest of tamelas all tied up perfectly and it’s just <3 (and you KNOW Rio’s sending her back home with leftovers)

• Spiderbyte has at least once or twice adjusted her avatar to be their size for Petra’s comfort. (Petra said they were fine but Margo insisted.) ((I’d like to think she’s one of their 1st close friends outside of Miguel and Jess))

• Petra offers to add bluetooth to miles suit after overhearing him complain how uncomfy airpods are under his mask. Under the condition that he shares his playlist with them.

• They falls in love Earth 1610’s (Miles’s earth) music. (I feel like this is how they hit it off??)

• Also Miles and Petra bonding over being “different” in their own ways >>>

they have this weird relationship w miguel bc he saved them so they have a soft spot for each other but the way miguel sees miles is of course questionable…… so they’re in a weird middle ground

peter b. would be a menace to them of course. sort of like a love/hate relationship but they will never admit they like each other

petra picks up spanish from miguel and them and miles speak it to each other to practice 🥹

tiny people having superior senses is like my favorite trope that i use with every time so it’s a no-brainer here, they know shit like a few seconds before the others sense it

miguel is so protective over them it’s insane. they pretend it bothers them but deep down they rely on that security
