He was a coward. But for those eyes he’d fight devils. For those lips he’d topple mountains. And for that boy, his boy, Remus could be brave.

Regulus Black hated winters and Christmas , partly because he gets cold easily and mostly because the cold reminded him of grimmauld place, and also because it was the night Sirius left. So he hated winters.
Until he met James Potter, James made everything warm, Regulus was certain James was a walking sun.
James would hold him and keep him warm when winter came, James would make the place warm and make hot chocolate for them.
They would give presents and cuddle all night in their own little world, imagining what their life would be like after school.
Maybe they'd have a little cottage with a lake near by, maybe they'd have a cat, maybe 4 kids, and they could play in the backyard.
James had turned his life upside and Regulus finds himself liking winter more and Christmas became his favorite.
Little did they know, they wouldn't have 4 kids and a cottage with a lake, no, instead they would be forced to fight in the different side of war and face death without each other by their side.

hi hi hi, i absolutely love ur work! i was just thinking abt how the entirety of the Evermore album could basically be a storyline for the Maruders, i feel as though each song really represents some scenario the Maraders went through.
some lyrics that really stood out to me were "How evergreen our group of friends, don't think we'll say that word again" also, "And I'm sitting on a bench in Coney Island Wondering, Where did my baby go? The fast times, the bright lights, the merry-go Sorry for not making you my centerfold, Over and over" and like a lot more

awh, thank you! and i agree with you, evermore is definitely a marauders' album. marjorie reminds me of remus and mary after the war ended, especially "'cause every scrap of you would be taken away from me", and the last part of the song!
also, right where you left me can be jegulus, dorlene and wolfstar after one of them dies, but i'm more inclined to say remus after he loses sirius after the first war. the world goes on, without knowing the tragedy of their love, the tragedy of their loves and of the fallen soldiers.

Omg this is perfect for a Christmas morning fic!! Sorry for the wait my dear🤍 ft! Pregnant!reader, Christmas morning fluff, Wolfstar and their kids (mentioned)
James wales up first, to the sound of soft pattering and whispers.
He’s almost ninety percent sure Sirius and Remus’ kids are already up and being talked out of running into everyone’s room to wake them up because, ‘Father Christmas came!’
You’re still asleep on his chest, breathing deeply, but as James takes a peek out the window and spots the rising sun and snow, he knows you’re going to want to wake up soon.
Just like the little ones, you’ve this innate love for Christmas and since moving to London permanently with James all those years ago, you’ve never really grown out of your fascination and love for the snow.
“M’heart, it’s Christmas.” James whispers, hand stroking your back. “Happy Christmas, angel.”
For every word he speaks, there’s a soft kiss stamped to the apple of your cheek, your temple, your chin- wherever he can reach.
“Jamie,” you mumble his name straight into his chest, head nuzzling between his pectorals making him laugh. “Happy Christmas.”
You let James tip your chip up and smack a kiss straight on your lips, before tucking it under his chin.
“Are the kids up already?” You ask, all the grog and sleep still stuck to your voice as you allow your body time to wake up.
“Mhm, think Moony’s talked them down from barging in here.”
You snicker, “That could only last so long.”
James hums something in agreement and then his hand moves from your back to your belly.
You’re still early days along- about three months, so there’s no real visible bump to your belly yet, but James loves placing his hand on your stomach and feeling for one.
“How’re you feeling?” He asks quietly; it’s still your little secret and as far as secrets go, it’s the best one you’ve ever kept.
“Better than the last couple of days, but if I don’t get a slice of homemade bread soon I’m gonna lose it.” James chuckles at your passion and rubs his nose along the line of your jaw.
“Think I can just get a couple more minutes with just the three of us, before those four barge in here demanding we wake up and open gifts?”
You pull out of his neck and pretend to think about it, “Hmm, maybe only if you make me that cinnamon tea you do so well.”
James hums, tips your chin up and brushes your lips with his, “You got a deal baby.”

I can go into heavy detail... AND I WILL! I WILL GO INTO HEAVY DETAIL!!!
Jokes I actually will not, but I will talk a little bit about one :)
Okay so I have manyyyyy favourites (no I will not choose between them cause I am indecisive and stubborn so I refuse).
But one which captured my heart (and will always have it) is Best Friends Brother, zeppazariel (@mayzarbewithyou).
Because it's a core reason for why/how I met my wife, @carrythispictureforluck. For one of our first dates, I recreated the picnic scene as a surprise - complete with the same food and champagne but minus the ziplining because rip we cannot just do that across buildings smh :( (side note some of the cheese + combos are reallllyyyyyy good, would recommend).
The remus / regulus friendship? top tier. Them being little shits and hating the world together and constantly making each other suffer as a love language? So much yes.
The way it has the perfect amount / combination of angst and moments that had me kicking my feet for both jegulus and wolfstar. Yes.
Happy ending and therapy?!?! OMG YES!!!! (even I find it nice to live in denial every once in a while and just be happy - hard to believe I know but I assure you it is true.)
And finally, trans regulus hits very close to home and honestly that fic helped me through some stuff there - so I will be eternally grateful.

Sidenote: If Remus and Sirius ever had Teddy, I like to think it was either:
(1) Accidental night with Tonks after Sirius went to the veil
(2) An evil wizard tried to make a half werewolf half metamorphagus Black family child
(3) Tonks and Remus were trapped in a endless loop like Bonnie and Damon in TVD and had a whole love story. When they get saved, she has the baby but they don’t stay together because they BOTH have other options.
Either ways, I don’t want Tonks to die. I live for the angsty wolfstar conversation about Remus shagging his niece. And, omg BillXTonks angst!! BILL GETTING pissed CAUSE HE ALSO HAS WOLFY TENDENCIES!! And he was also scarred by Greyback. I like to think Harry was made godfather because he told them to stop wasting time fighting and be happy that their partners are alive!!
Ultimately, I think they would co-parent. And, Teddy can have two sets of parents like Harry. Harry would be very nice to Teddy and teach him all about pranks (so he can carry the Marauders’ legacy).

Daylight (Taylor Swift) - 100% yes! I am very picky to my favorite Taylor Swift songs but for some reason the ones that I like most and that I have even used for some of my stories always bring me to Sirius Black, like Style, Everything Has Changed, and Lover, I'm not sure why there's just something about the stories on certain songs that just scream Sirius Black to me!

A/n: first of all: omg, my first rq, very very happy, thank you so much babes <3. Second: I am on a piercing ban rn and I am dying for the ban to break so this made me sooooo jealous
T/w: reader is suggested to have multiple ear peircings, needles, still learning to write James, Sirius works in a bar

"What if this is a bad idea?" You haven't even gotten out of the car and into the building when you start second guessing yourself.
"Love, you've wanted this for a while, I thought?" James is getting out of the backseat and opening your door on the passenger side.
"I do, but it's my first face peircing, what if it looks bad?" James kneels next to your seat in the car while you fiddle with your hands, eyes focused on them, rather than the worry on James' face that will undoubtedly make you melt.
"Doll, you're gonna look hot as fuck, I promise you that much." Sirius turns in the driver's seat to face you, left hand moving to the back of your head, stroking the nape of your neck. "And either way, if you get it and, after a few months, hate it, you can take it out."
You all sit there for a moment before you stop fidgeting and look between the two boys. "Sorry, I don't know why I'm freaking out now, ive been planning this for weeks now." You laugh, trying to ease the tension that's accidently set.
"It's okay, love." James gently grabs your face, turning you to face him and kissing you softly. "You still wanna get it?"
"Yeah, I do."

You all manage to get through the door of the peircing shop.
You sit in the chair, Sirius holding your hand and James looking away because needles freak him out, but he was adamant he would be a form of moral support.
The piercer uses the forcep clamp and you're pretty sure the needle is in their other hand, but you've had your eyes closed for a while now. And honestly, based off the videos you watched, it's probably for the best you don't see the needle.
"Okay, breath in through your mouth." Their voice is soothing as you take in a breath, albeit a little shaky.
"And a deep breath out..." your hand forms a death grip on Sirius' hand as the needle punctures your nose.
"Good job. I'm going to put the jewelry in now; one more deep breath in." Your hand keeps its hold on Sirius, "and out." The jewelry swiftly replaces the needle. "Okay, and you're done."
While paying and leaving, your hand never leaves the boy until you reach the car.
"Let me see." James once again gently grabs your face once the three of you are near the car. "Dear Merlin, that looks amazing."
"Yes it does, and you took it like a bloody champ, doll." The other boy adds.
"Yeah? It looks good?"
"Obviously." He overlaps one of James hand and leans in to kiss you.
"Wait- no- no kisses right now." Both boys drop their hands from your face.
"Are you okay?" James brows are furrowed in concern.
"I'm- I'm just scared you'll hit it and it will hurt."
The paler of the two laughs a bit but looks at you so fondly you could melt into a puddle like the wicked witch of the west. "Fine- fine then. No kisses. For now."

You're sitting on the couch when James gets home a few days later, book open as you read.
James toes off his shoes and walks behind the couch, tilting your chin to lean down and kiss you.
You instinctively let him, used to the little routine the three of you have. But dear fuck, you didn't consider how much it would hurt for his nose to hit your very sore one during a kiss.
"Fucking-" You pull back, hand going to your nose to shield it as if some invisible source is gonna sucker punch you.
"Shit- sorry, love, I didn't even think about your new piercing." James rounds the couch to sit next to you, putting your book fave down on the coffee table to keep your place.
"It's okay, Jamie, really." You move your hand away and rake your nails through his hair.
"'M sorry anyway." He leans in again, this time kissing your hairline instead of your cheek.
Sirius had been up in the bedroom, having a night shift at the bar he worked at, so he was sleeping most of the day. But his shift starts in an hour, and he wants to at *least* see you two before he has to see drunk people for 8 hours.
Padding down the staircase in your townhouse, Sirius sees you and James on the couch, you with tears lining your eyes.
"Bloody Merlin, baby, don't try and kill the girl, prongs." Sirius jokes as he makes his way to the couch as well.
"I didn't do anything!" James whips his head around to Sirius, who cuts him off with a kiss before he can continue to defend himself any further.
"He kissed me and it hurt like a bitch." Your voice is slightly whinny, desperately wanting your shorter boyfrienda attention.
"Oh, my poor girl, James is hurting you with his love again?" Sirius coos as he sits between you two, but it's more like on both your laps, grabbing the sides of your face to place a soft kiss on your forehead.
"I said sorry!" He attempts to defend himself again, "I didn't mean to."
"Sounds like it was an accident, huh, doll?" Sirius speaks in-between kisses on your face.
"Seems so." You murmur.
"Either way, seems only James can properly kiss me now." He grins at you before grabbing James' face, more aggressively than needed, and smashing their lips together.
