We have all talked about how Jason gets pit rage because of the Lazarus waters being gross ecto, or how his obssession is the Joker and needing to kill him and a bunch of other things,

Let me give that a twist,

That Pit Rage Jason feels is hunger, specifically a ghosts hunger.

Jason came back from the dead not fully, he's a starving ghost with a malnourished proto-core, until he properly eats it will stay weak and hungry.

How does the Joker fit in all this?

Easy, With the lack of good ecto for Jason to feed and stabilize from the next best option is his murderer.

Consuming that who killed you is very nourishing for a new ghost.

So Jason getting angry with the bats and others when they tell him not to kill the Joker or actively prevent him from even getting near him is like putting all his favourite foods right in front of him and then taking it away from him,

Each time getting worse for Jason, only getting hungrier and hungrier each time it happens.

How would you feel if you were starving and people kept offering you food and then pulling it away before you could eat it?

Confused?

Desperate?

Anger?

It doesn't count as cannibalism if you're not the same

Hey, so in case y'all aren't aware, the governor of Texas is defying the Supreme Court's order to take out razor wire on the border that severely endangers the lives of people trying to cross, under the grounds that Texas is protecting itself from invasion. Abbott is threatening to pit the Texas national guard against Federal troops. It's probably a bluff, but praying for Republicans to be rational rarely works. Extremists are literally calling for succession from the United States.

I don't think it'll come to fighting, but the fact Abbott is so openly defying federal orders and blatantly threatening militant action is pretty terrifying. Especially if he's just allowed to do this, which would set a very dangerous precedent for what states can get away with.

The prey was fast asleep on the couch and they looked so peaceful and soft... The predator just couldn't help themselves, the predator swiftly and confidently moved towards the couch in a powerful stride as they knew exactly what they wanted to do... The predator quietly clambered onto the couch with the prey being careful to not wake or harm them and then they... Spooned the prey...? What was this predator doing? They were... Hold on... But that wasn't on the script... They were supposed to eat the prey! What are they doing!?!? ...Well then... Let's see how this pans out. The predator softly moved over the prey so the predator's chest would be firmly pressed against the prey and they put one of their powerful arms around the prey in a gentle comforting and warm hug, and then they sighed a sigh of comfort and relief as they just laid there with the sleeping prey in their arms comforting and cooing the unconscious prey while the predator closed their own eyes and just relaxed for the first time in a long while... They never got to get this close to a prey... Everyone always saw them as nothing more than a bloodthirsty beast that would try and gobble you up at the slightest chance... But they never wanted to eat people all they ever dreamed of was holding one close and keeping them nice and safe... But no one would ever give them the chance to do so... Until now... Now they could finally do what they always dreamed of doing... Keeping someone safe and warm... Suddenly the prey moved in their sleep! They turned their body around and rested them on the predator's chest as they let out an incoherent mumble, this small action caused the predator to shed a single tear as they hugged the prey even tighter as they both just laid there in silence... They would have to explain this in the morning but they hardly cared about that right now all the predator could think about was the prey...

I guess not all predators desire to eat people.

when he's regular Childe and meows, you simply roll your eyes and flick his forehead. but although you act exasperated, he can see the tiny smile twitching at the sides of your lips, so he pulls you closer and sets his chin in your hair to continue "annoying" you. if you attempt to flick him again, he'll playfully bite your fingers, relishing the little yelp of shock you let out. he's a menace when mischievous, he is!!! but it always ends with him happily humming and squeezing you close to his chest- he's just happy that you're here and you're his!!!

when he's in Foul Legacy, however, the meow is definitely more of a chirp- if he's sleepy, it'll transition into a cat-like yawn that shows all his fangs!!! he loves the way your eyes soften and you reach towards his face, only you don't even need to move because he closes the distance between you with a few steps, nudging his head into your hands with a content purr. there's a few moments of silence where you're just scritching behind his horns and brushing your thumb over his plated cheeks before he lets out another chirp and draws even closer, burying his face into the crook of your neck- he wants attention!! you're so busy, he's lonely, please give him hugs and pets and love and- actually, why don't you take a day off of work? seems like a perfect way to spend time with your lovely Abyss monster <33 he can't help a bit of mischief either, and you know it from how he quickly swipes his tongue across your cheek, letting out a rumbly chuckle at your gasp of indignation before gently nibbling your fingers again <333

It happens often to me: you enter a new fandom, then you finally have your first idea to draw and... never draw it XD Not because it's bad or something, but it just starts slowly, and after 2-3 weeks you're already sparkling with ideas and moving away from the old ones.

What I wanted to say... found this old xleon sketch which was my first/second deep thouht abt them. Still feels nice and I will try to not forget again xD (don't mind the text structure, I just slapped something to compile it into readable thought later)

As much fun as I'm having doing my alternative run of DA2, one thing I really miss about my mage Hawke is his friendship with Merrill.

Those two are best friends and he's 100% supportive in her goals toward the eluvian. Ed has the humorous/charming personality, too, which bounces off super well with Merrill. He doesn't think any less of her for her usage of blood magic; if anything he's impressed by her level of strength and willpower. He's so ready to defend her from the other companions and the clan, and he's absolutely out here attempting to matchmake her and Carver....at least he is in my heart because the game won't let me, it's fine, I'm not bitter about it or anything-

But then my warrior Hawke? She has the diplomatic personality with quite a bit of direct/aggressive thrown in there and she ends up having the same attitude as that one party banter Aveline and Merrill have: "Merrill, you're clearly talented and meant for great things, but you're stupid," and that's so difficult for me to lean into. I'm trying to play Aris differently so she ends up being so condescending to Merrill, like she's trying to gently tell her to give up on the eluvian but it doesn't come off well.

Also if Carver was around, Aris would be the opposite of Ed, she'd look at the suggestion of her brother and Merrill getting together and be like, "No :) I don't think so :) I like Merrill, she's my friend :) but she's not right for Carver."

But I guess it makes sense; if you told him that Bethany would giggle and kick her feet and twirl her hair around Sebastian, Ed would've thrown him in the ocean as a warning. Meanwhile, Aris is like, "A handsome prince that could take my sister away from all of this? Wonderful, we just need to work on his incorrect views on mages, but that shouldn't be a problem :)"

Anyway I miss playing Hawke as the #1 Merrill stan.
