he draws his lip in between his teeth, trying to surpress the whimper that almost slips out as you punch him in the gut.
he doubles over clutching his stomach, you think you've hurt him too much but it's the exact opposite. he's biting his lip so hard it draws blood from how fucking elated he feels.
"tartaglia, are you alright? I knew I should've held back a bit," you mutter, walling over to the man dropping your weapon with a clash onto the domain floor. you and childes sparring sessions increased by the week from 2 days to everyday. of course it was no problem for you, you were an archon, and he is a meer mortal, one stained by the abyss, yet still a human.
"childe are you-?" he interrupts you by going back into his battle stance. "again, [name]," he grunts looking at you with eyes glazed with an animalistic lust. an unfulfilled desire tainting his soul. blood and sweat dribbled from his chin to the ground below with a soft plip "what? no, youre–"
"what? you scared?" he clicked his tongue, smirk making his smile lines more prominent. "typical, I guess the years really must've done a number on you, huh?" he taunts. your blood boils, you could take a playful banter but blaintant disrespect, no.
before you could even process your movements, you slap him straight across the face with some of your element infused causing him to fall to the ground. snapping back to reality you see him on the floor, clutching his cheek with one hand and the other over his cock.
"tartaglia, why would you rile me up like that?" you question bending down to lift his chin to inspect the damage. the area you hit already has a bruised forming and here he is, staring at you as if you've just hung the stars and the moon. he puts his hand on you face and leans his forehead against yours, eyes glinted with need, staring directly into your confused ones.
"o–once more."

thinking of writing a (kinda sorta) the summer i turned pretty wilmon au
simon and sara and linda are close family friends with wille and erik and kristina and ludvig, and have spent every summer for as long as simon can remember at their beach house, in some cute quaint little town by the ocean. kristina and ludvig are like second parents to simon and erik is like the big brother simon never had. but wille...wille is a year old than simon, and they've been thick as thieves since they were small. simon's had a crush on wille since absolutely forever, and there's been hints over the years that wille likes him, too (he gave simon his cross necklace, once, and it was oddly sweet). except, up until now it's all been childlike and innocent and nothing but a regular friendship between them. but this summer-
this summer, simon has just turned 17, and he's out to all his family and friends, and rosh and ayub (his friends from home) keep telling simon how good he looks, and simon starts to think that maybe this is the summer he and wille will finally admit their feelings for each other and actually do something about it.
simon's ready, ready to fall in love and have the best summer of his life, but when they arrive at kristina and ludvig's beach house, wille is different- he's sullen and withdrawn and so moody, not goofy and fun like simon remembers from years past, and simon is totally heartbroken: he feels like wille barely wants to be his friend anymore, much less anything else, and he doesn't understand why
(it turns out erik is sick and he and kristina and ludvig are hiding the news from everyone else, including wille, so they can have one last perfect summer, but wille found out anyways and doesn't know how to deal with the idea of potentially losing his brother and also that his whole family is keeping something so huge from him)
meanwhile, kristina is trying to convince simon to take part in the beautillion ball, the male equivalent of the debs ("it's very progressive now," kristina tells him. "they don't care if you're straight or gay or whatever kids are calling it these days") and she's offers to pay for the whole thing. simon thinks it's a totally antiquated tradition and it will just be him and a bunch of rich kids, so he isn't interested, but erik convinces him- he did it when he was younger and it wasn't that bad (plus erik secretly wants wille to offer to escort simon to the ball because he knows it will make wille happy, and erik wants to see his brother fall in love, because he might not be around for another summer) so simon agrees to it
except- simon has no idea how to even talk to wille anymore, so he hesitates to ask wille to the ball, and wille is also scared to bring up the idea of being simon's escort (he and simon are best friends, or at least, they were, and if wille might lose erik, he can't share his true feelings for simon and risk losing him, too)
so, simon grows more and more distant from wille. he ends up going on a bunch of dates with another boy who is in town for the summer named marcus, who simon guesses is nice enough and can relate to everything simon has been going through with micke (he and linda divorced last summer), and simon thinks about asking marcus to escort him to the ball, but he can't stop thinking about wille and doesn't think it's fair to marcus to ask, and he debates breaking the whole thing off
meanwhile, wille is...not doing great. he's stressed and overwhelmed about erik being sick, and he's sad that simon might be falling in love with someone else, and he wants to take simon to the ball and show him off in front of everyone, but- he can't. so he starts drinking and smoking more and taking pills that august deals him during the late-night beach bonfires, and he isn't himself at all, until he finally blows up one night. he tries to fight marcus or do something really dumb that forces simon to call erik and beg for help and it all comes out that wille knows erik is sick and dying and why wouldn't he tell wille
and now simon understands why wille's been acting that way he has, but wille is still having trouble opening up, until he starts giving sailing lessons to boris, this old man who has lived in the town forever, and boris gives him sage life advice and wille realizes he needs to tell simon how he really feels, like, now, or he might actually lose him forever
wille has this realization the same night as the ball, and he tells boris he has to go and hurries back to his parents beach house- but simon is no where to be found. it turns out simon has already gone to the ball early to prepare, and is planning to be one of the only boys that's participating without an escort
wille tries to get to the ball but it's across the town and he's held up (by a bad storm?? and his car gets stuck in the mud or something equally inconvenient and ridiculous) and when he bursts in, simon is just about to be announced, and wille is sopping wet and breaking every antiquated rule of decorum of the ball as he marches across the ballroom, dripping water, and says that he's simon's escort and he'll be giving him away (or however the heck these balls work i have no idea)
and he and wille dance and laugh the night away, and after they sneak off to the beach and really talk, for what seems like the first time that summer, and finally, they kiss each other for the first time, and it's way better than simon ever imagined over all these years
(and it turns out that erik's been accepted into a trial for an experimental cancer treatment that's had successful results, and his blood results are looking okay, and there's a chance he might be fine after all, what a relief. and maybe linda has also found love this summer, too, and sara is reveling in her first real friendship with felice)
so simon and wille spend the last few weeks of the summer together in that little beach town, and with sara and their parents and erik and they soak it all in
also there is lots of drive-in movies and beach bonfires and fireworks and rich kid parties and maybe a charity sailing tournament where simon totally doesn't stare at willes arms the whole time, and late night swimming and skinny dipping and whatever other summer stereotypes i can possibly think of

I literally had a dream about reading the worst fan fiction like fucking ever kiryu was just randomly a yandere and nishiki was trying his best to survive also kiryu turned into a dragon (deez nuts) halfway and let nishiki kill him for being a bad boy but he was so upset about having to kill his bro that he just lay in the corpse for a bit and thats when i decided to stop reading and i literally opened tumblr in my dream to complain about how bad it was like the writing went back and forth from being terrible to incredible and i found myself enjoying some parts and despising others. I skipped the first few chapters so i had to tab back out and read the summary like why are they in a beach resort and the summary didnt just tell me nothing but it was also double spaced between each line and very fucking irritating and while reading it i kept thinking this is extremely ooc and boring like they would not fucking say that

BEFORE YOU START:
This post is required reading about Team Rocket’s ages since that’s usually a question that comes up a lot LOL. As for Delia’s age, she is said to be 29 in Takeshi Shudo’s (original writer on Pokémon) novel that built out the world and characters of the anime.

What does "Hanamusa" mean?
Hanamusa is a combination of Delia and Jessie's Japanese names, Hanako and Musashi respectively.
When does this AU take place?
It takes place sometime after the Mezase Pokémon Master/To Be a Pokémon Master series. So all the events that happened in the series, unless retconned within the series, happened. Ash is 10 at the start of the comics.
What's the status between Jessie, James, Meowth and Giovanni/Team Rocket?
Not great terms since they were fired, but also not the worst terms. Giovanni just let the three of them go without any further issues.
I will say that I've always loved the theory that Giovanni keeps Jessie specifically around because of her parentage and he as a soft spot for her that he keeps a secret. I feel like Matori was the one that got the three of them fired and Giovanni wasn't able to make an excuse for them this time (without showing nepotism/special treatment) so he was forced to let them go.
If you headcanon Delia as a lesbian, how did Ash come to be?
Delia was young when she had Ash and I hc that she just didn’t really explore her sexuality much! I myself didn’t realized I liked women until I was 18 and didn’t know I liked ONLY women until like 2 years ago. She got married, had a baby and realized after her husband left that she liked women (trans people exist obviously but I’m also interpreting Ash’s father as a cis man).
Who do you think Ash’s dad is?
I don’t know and I don’t really care to explore it. I’m going off of the novel interpretation that he’s just a deadbeat that left to be a trainer, failed and never came back because of the shame. He’s not important.
Isn’t Giovanni Ash’s dad?
That’s a common misconception that people remember wrong from the Pokémon Live show. Delia mentions she dated Giovanni but then left him and his gang after meeting Ash’s father. I also don’t consider the live show canon personally! I follow The Birth of Mewtwo timeline where Madame Boss founded Team Rocket.
Do you think Delia and Giovanni dated at least?
Nah, I think he’s too old for her? I always got the vibe from The Birth of Mewtwo that he was quite a bit older than Jessie and it’d be sus if he was dating Delia when she was married to, and had a child with her husband at 18/19. He’s a bad guy but not a BAD guy.
You mentioned you still ship Jessie and James. Why not make a Jessie, James, Delia polycule?
I have a few reasons I’ve mentioned before! 1. I’m in super deep with this AU already and I feel it’d be very confusing for casual viewers of my stuff if James was added into the relationship haha. 2. I’ve drawn Jessie and James together since 2011 and took this AU as an opportunity to try my hand at writing them as queer, platonic besties bc I love that interpretation of them a lot as well. 3. I’m not poly myself and the way I write this ship is largely based off of my experiences with my girlfriend. I just know I’d favor the Jessie/Delia of it all which isn’t fair and not a good interpretation of a poly relationship. All that said, I DO super enjoy seeing peoples’ poly headcanons and art!
Who does James end up with in this AU?
No one. He's aroace and is happy to be single
Do Jessie and James have all their Pokémon in this AU
I think they have all the Pokémon that they did by the end of Mezase Pokémon Master (all their Pokémon that were left at HQ). Most of their released Pokémon have stayed released and the Alola Pokémon are still in Alola. I bring back Arbok and Weezing post-Jessie and Delia getting married. I may bring back Chimecho, Growlie and Cacnea if I think of an idea I like!

Does Ash travel with anyone at this point of his life?
I don't have anyone in particular in mind! I could see him making new friends (Nemona???) or traveling with different combinations of old friends. Like him, Misty and Goh, him, Dawn and Cilan, him, Serena and Lillie etc.
Will Delia ever get over her phobia of snake Pokémon
Not fully! I think overcoming fears is fine and good but I think real PHOBIAS are much harder to get past and I don't want to cheapen it. She slowly gets used to Jessie's Seviper specifically and gets to the point where she can pet it comfortably with Jessie in the room. But otherwise, still scared and would need that same amount of time per Pokémon
Is Jessie gaining weight or is it just me?
Not just you! Jessie puts on a bit of relationship weight overtime as you'll see in the later comics in the timeline. Jessie grew in poverty, never knowing when her next meal would be and that continued into her life as a Team Rocket member. Once she was able to settle down (with a woman who runs her own restaurant no less) she's able to live a healthier lifestyle with regular meals and puts on some weight because of that.
Does Jessie ever feel self conscious about gaining weight?
Nope! She feels happier and healthier and hotter. She's also unreasonably excited to clear out her old clothes and get a new wardrobe.
Would Jessie and Delia ever have kids together or adopt?
Nah, Ash is enough for them! I have come up with hypothetical kids for them but they're not canon to this AU. Just a fun little thing for me.
Will you ever put this on webtoon?
Nah. People mostly ask me this because they want to read everything in the order of the timeline but to my knowledge, you can’t reorder chapters or installments which would defeat the purpose. I also don’t think nintendo fan stuff would fly there. Also, also it’s just extra work and another place to upload and I want to keep this all fun for myself~
