it really is insane to me how in the mid 2010s netflix had a reputation of making cool, inclusive series as well as saving tv shows after their networks cancelled them, and now here we are today with every halfway decent netflix original show getting cancelled after 1-2 seasons and a bajillion episodes of bigmouth

Six Sentence Sunday

The outside of his old home, the stairs, they look the same. He walks up and the door’s unchanged, the metal stubborn and resilient.

Inside, the structure of it stands. There’s no smell of smoke, nearly a year after they burned it, but the patterns of the flames are drawn black against the walls. Everything soft has been eaten away, leaving metallic frames and the dark, warped glass of snow-globes.

It’s all so familiar, and everything’s a hollowed-out remnant of the friendship, safety and love he remembers here.

He props himself in one corner, his back and head against the wall, surrounded by silence. He almost misses the heavy throb of the club through his bones.

i have made the mistake of beginning this series at a very emotionally low point and now i am just.... grieving for all of these people. of this city. of this land and i don’t think i will be okay for a long, long while. i know this is not my usual terror content but i just ... made this and i wanted to save it somewhere. oh my god i’ve never watched d&d, let alone critical role before i literally don’t go here but this series.
