Neptune Goes Retro!

Neptune goes retro once a year for around 5 months. This year, after Saturn's and Pluto's retrograde station, Neptune went retrograde two days ago, on June 30th. What does this mean?

This marks a grittily sober period wherein the fantasy bubble bursts. Neptune rx invites us to revisit our inspirations, dreams, and subconscious to move forward with a healthier mindset. Here is how to navigate this confusing energy:

Cut down on the consumption of alcohol, drugs or other substances -unless subscribed by a health professional-that alters your mental state. This period is gritty and sober for a reason; to see things for what they are without rose-colored glasses and take action accordingly.

Deeply introspect and asses your subconscious self. What stories, lies, or negative self-talk do you tell yourself? What is the source of your own self-undoing and sabotage?

Revisit your personal relationships, your attachment issues and ways of communication. See how all three are interconnected and affected by each other. Relationships: are there any issues of codependency? Attachment: are you projecting your subconscious fears? Communication: do you feel understood as well as understanding to others too?

Revisit your coping mechanisms. How often do you engage in harmful or unhealthy coping mechanisms? How can you replace them with healthy ones that are effective and enjoyable?

Asses your sobriety; how often do you escape reality and why?

Asses and review your manifestations. Rather than actively manifesting new things in this period; it is time to assess your previous manifestations and see the source(s) of blockages.

What are the sources of your aspirations? Are they coming from a place of fear, competition, or external influences? Asses. This period should inspire you to come up with dreams and life goals that come from a place of abundance and unconditional love rather than fear, materialism, or external influences.

I think that Neptune Rx individuals are more prone to substance abuse because they have to actively escape. Neptune direct seems to be able to treat perception as perception and find magic in the outside world. Neptune Rx can’t do that, they have to actively take the plunge into the magic waters because the world is stripped of the glamour they’re looking for.

As you all know we have entered retrograde season, and today Neptune goes retrograde at 25° of Pisces ( mystical, dreamy Pisces is Neptune’s ruling planet which means here's where it expresses it's true energy) where it will stay until early December. This Transit will put focus on "Seeing 🙈🙊🙉 the Truth".

Neptune has been in the sign of Pisces since 2011 and will remain there until 2026. This planet is retrograde 40% of the year (About 40% of the population have Neptune retrograde in their birth chart so it is less feared and less harmful than having a retrograde inner planet).

If you know anything about Neptune then you know Neptune is considered the planet of spirituality, subconscious, dreams, illusions, sensitivity and healing.

When this planet is direct we have a tendency to escape our realities, keeping things hidden from ourselves, turning fantasy into actuality causing misunderstanding within as well as projecting those deceptive energies outward.

saturn retrograde began on june 4th at Aquarius and will end on october 23rd at aquarius

when retrograde is happening (especially saturn rx) is a time when karma is sorted out, we are about to be faced/will be facing events that will teach us lessons, or maybe be reminded of what we’ve been through, what debt we owe and will repay and such.

but don’t get it twisted, we will also be rewarded for our hard work over the past period, saturn is the critic and is strict but also saturn rewards double where it is due

we might also be dealing with some sad news (some of us, not all) and/or some negative thinking, which during this time will be useful in the end.

mercury square saturn might delay/restrict communication, travels, there will be this aloofness, a pessimistic cloud hovering filled with a sort of loneliness and indecisiveness. be ware of arguments and misunderstandings due to miscommunication and that aloofness in the air which can divide, being mindful can only help

mercury sextile neptune is there to soothe those misunderstandings and heal communication, the soothing and healing energy will only help us get over the wall of detachment and closer to compassion.

My Mercury is 19° Cancer so’s I get the water Mercury—One of my very less than normal water placements.

I have a 1H Capricorn stellium—Also my moon sign. Uranus/Neptune are also 1H so’s I’ve ALWAYS been a walking identity crisis—FABULOUS. Also the water one says I can ‘easily’ put feelings into words and that is definitely not been true in my cases. Words fail me a great deal of the time PLUS I don’t want these emotions already?! Why would I want feelings attached to them too?!?? Words deceive me nearly as much as my own words have esp. if I get deeply rooted in the argument

This morning this planet is covered by winds and blue.

This morning this planet glows with dustless perfect light,

enough that I can see one million sharp leaves

from where I stand. I walk on this planet, its hard-packed

dirt and prickling grass, and I don’t fall off. I come down

soft if I choose, hard if I choose. I never float away.

Sometimes I want to be weightless on this planet, and so

I wade into a brown river or dive through a wave

and for a while feel nothing under my feet. Sometimes

I want to hear what it was like before the air, and so I duck

under the water and listen to the muted hums. I’m ashamed

to say that most days I forget this planet. That most days

I think about dentist appointments and plagiarists

and the various ways I can try to protect my body from itself.

Last weekend I saw Jupiter through a giant telescope,

its storm stripes, four of its sixty-seven moons, and was filled

with fierce longing, bitter that instead of Ganymede or Europa,

I had only one moon floating in my sky, the moon

called Moon, its face familiar and stale. But this morning

I stepped outside and the wind nearly knocked me down.

This morning I stepped outside and the blue nearly

crushed me. This morning this planet is so loud with itself—

its winds, its insects, its grackles and mourning doves—

that I can hardly hear my own lamentations. This planet.

All its grooved bark, all its sand of quartz and bones

and volcanic glass, all its creeping thistle lacing the yards

with spiny purple. I’m trying to come down soft today.

I’m trying to see this place even as I’m walking through it.

If your Ruling Planet is Retrograde it will make you doubt yourself more and you may experience self image issues.

For example: A Gemini Rising with a natal Mercury retrograde or A Sagittarius Rising with a natal Jupiter retrograde.

Mercury Retrograde gives you lessons around communication, learning and intellect. You may struggle to articulate words and speak up or may even talk too much and not know when to be quiet.

Venus Retrograde makes someone’s nature more intense & deep. They take their connections very seriously which may cause these individuals to go through difficulties in regards to their one on one relationships. ⭒ jupiter in 7th house in a lunar return (lr) chart could mean that there’s some ✨opportunities✨ to get a partner that month

⭒ so many celebs and famous ppl have libra risings
