went shopping for winter clothes + got this new tote bag

attended a 3 hrs lecture on chemical kinetics

studying photosynthesis right now for tomorrow's botany lecture

I've been struggling to put in the hours since I came back from my family trip (and the momentum was broken) do you have any tips on how to study for longer hours at a stretch? I need to catch up with a week's worth of study material and everything seems overwhelming and i keep avoiding facing the huge pending syllabus.

it’s been a while since i’ve posted here.

hope everyone’s been good and enjoying christmas break.

i’ve been able to do a little bit of studying everyday but i hope to do more. it’s hard to do work with my entire family around but i think i’m doing a good job.

although, it kinda pisses me off when some family members get irritated when i don’t go out with them when i have to study but i’m trying to ignore that.

Date - 23-08-23

I'm preparing for NEET 2024 through an offline test series. I have my next test on 3rd September. I have begun preparing for that. Although the last three four days will be very chaotic because of rakshabandhan.

(“Raksha Bandhan” meaning translates to “bond of protection.” It' is a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between siblings; traditionally brothers and sisters but now all of our loved ones.)

Hence I'd have to make sure that I'm done with my syllabus in a week at max.

Targets for today :

1. Magnetic effects of current - max along with question practise

2. Principles of inheritance till sex determination

3. Chemical equilibrium - theory

Misc goals for today

~ danceeee/ workout

~ practise spanish

~ go for a walk

~ skincare : put on a facemask (pre rakhi prep guys)

Lastly,

Day 2&3 of @alfalfaaarya 's 25 day productivity streak

Day 2: 19th of June 2022

Today I wasn't the most productive, and that's mostly because of uncontrollable external factors. Woke up early, finished half of Gravitation. And started Hydrogen, as I was ignoring Chemistry and wanted to tackle inorganic chemistry before it was too late

But in the afternoon guests came over, and by the time they left, it was evening and I was exhausted. So there goes my productivity :(

I had a panic attack later in the night about how much closer NEET dates are, and how overwhelming it felt. My mother is the best, she helped me calm down and instilled some sense of calmness in me.

Day 3: 20th June 2022

Today wasn't very productive. I was dealing with something very traumatic and personal. I initially tried to push through it by revising Ray Optics but it didn't work out. I ended up binge watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine to cope. Thankfully, I have the best friends and the coolest study buddies @notes-by-saher and @studydiariesofaru, talking to them helped me so much!

I love these notes I've made for Ray Optics, they help me revise the chapter quickly.

So in conclusion, the past few days weren't the most productive ones. Hoping for better and more productive days to come!!

october 11th, tuesday

attended classes from 10 to 5 today. it was hectic but we had a week off for pujas so the teachers rushed to complete the left bits.

wrapped up kinematics + thermodynamics + colligative properties.

currently solving the pyqs from CP.

dreading tomorrow's lecture on anatomy of cockroach. this is the only part in zoology that i do not look forward to studying.

Reminder that the para-isomers are high melting as compared to their ortho and meta-isomers. It is due to symmetry of para-isomers that fits in crystal lattice better as compared to ortho- and meta-isomers.

Day 1 of @alfalfaaarya 's 25 day productivity streak

We had a powercut for the whole day. And hence Wi-Fi was down. Surprisingly without internet and the distractions it brings, I was very productive today.

Did 100 questions on Biotechnology: Principles and Processea

Did 100 questions on Biotechnology: Applications

Did 100 questions on Digestion and absorption

Had a quiz today, and scored well!

Revised Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation.

Completed half of a lecture on Gravitation

I have a feeling I'm avoiding chemistry, as it is my least favourite subject. And I shouldn't be doing that. Tomorrow I'm gonna try and put some time for Chemistry.

With NEET exactly 4 weeks away, there is a lot of anxiety and thoughts of 'what if' which end up in me spiraling. I'm trying to focus on the now, and be more mindful of the time I have left, and use it to reach my maximum potential.
