Prologue: It wasn’t easy to hold onto your emotions when you find yourself in the same dine-in where your ex boyfriend sings. The pain was too much to bear.

People meet. There is this glance-passing interaction. Then comes the lure of human nature. I know you like me, you know I like you. There are a hundred faces you see every day, some of whom understand this theory of yours. Life is all about fun, and in your world, emotions and sentiments kill the fun.

Relationships are meant to be for a night, or maybe if it was for some rare chance, more, and then in the morning, everyone has their own path to take and it's best if they bury the past behind.

Amongst your lengthy list of boys, the one that lasted the longest on the pitch was for around five months.

There was no denying you had fun, and this fun was very different from your past ones.

Simple things with him brought you absolute joy, whether it was going out to get melon popsicles in the summer heat or clicking pictures for the gram in the trial rooms and never actually buying them. He laughed at your worst joke, he got up from the bed to switch off the lights, and he let you have the last slice of pizza. He lent you a shoulder to cry on, he gave you the best cuddles. He was different.

This evening, the streets and the sky were both grey and deserted. As the clouds veiled the stars, the dusty wind swept through the concrete. Those sounds were eolian. Everything that was carried away by the winds, including leaves and twigs, empty soda cans, discarded polythene, and other debris, flew here and there.

What was also grey and deserted was your heart. You were lonely.

Being physically surrounded by people all the time, sharing laughs and gossip, did not always necessarily bring happiness. Times like these made you miss him the most.

A dine-in that appeared to be new in town caught your attention. "The Melting Pot", the board read with huge yellow and red lights. You decided to step in. It would be good both for your body and heart, you needed some comfort.

The smell of the wooden furniture and the smells of their cooking mingled together beautifully in the low light. You secured a table near the enormous glass. The raindrops traced their way down, taking unprecedented paths, going with the flow while it was bucketing down outside.

It would have been pretty subtle and swift if it were not for what happened next. "An unusually long day. But it's not too bad because you're warm~" These words mixed themselves in the atmosphere. No, it was not just about those painful lyrics. It was the voice, and it was his voice.

You froze at the moment, a sudden rush of numbness running through your veins that was accompanied by a warm and welcoming feeling in the heart, as if it could make you cry instantly.

"You are a miracle to me, I wish you could see it

Spreading all over me, a gift called you

You're my night and day~"

He proceeded with the song, perfectly hitting all the notes with those guitar chords. His voice held so much pain, a pain too much to bear. Oh! It was breaking your heart.

Thanks to your long hair and black baseball cap, your face could not be recognized. You took it as an advantage to face the man. He sat there on the only chair in front of the wall studded with golden fairy lights, adding more to his glow in an off-whitish sweater, resembling a baby lamb. His dark hair concealed his forehead, and his hands were occupied by his rustic brown guitar, something very dear to him.

"Cause I can live with it, You're my everything~"

He finished tonight's performance, leaving the room with applause and also tears in your eyes.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry, but we are closing." Another man dressed in a three-piece informed you, you took a glance at your phone and left the table soon after you paid.

The exit was towards the left, but you took the right instead, intentionally. Your eyes followed the man, who was now packing up.

"Dejun?" you called his name, with a tone that depicted absolute pain, regret, and need at the same time.

He turned back to face you, still smiling. It was not a smile from the heart, you knew him. His lips curved that way every time he was vulnerable.

"Last time you looked at me like that, you broke my heart." He stated, fidgeting his head and fingers, turning away his eyes from you. He stayed like that for a minute or two, continuously looking towards the left, shaking his head and swallowing that lump in his throat before turning back to his task. You knew he was on the verge of crying anytime.

"I never wanted to hurt you!" You broke down in tears.

Xiaojun paid zero attention. He hung his backpack, carried his guitar case and left, walking away right past you.

Even if you wanted to let him go a few months back, for some reason, this time, you knew you could not afford it.

You followed him in the streets. It was still heavily raining, but the winds ceased, making it suitable enough to walk. You were following his figure, the one with the same black umbrella as yours.

"Why are you doing this to me?" He said sternly, without turning back. He must have realised you were following him, for yours were the only footsteps on the street other than his.

The silence could still be heard, along with the rain.

"You said you were bored of me." He added.

The glass of silence stood still again for seconds, then shattered by the noise of the delivery motorbike. "Vroom!" It went by slowly.

"I love you!"

You screamed at the man with all your might.

"I dialled your number a thousand times. Why didn't you ever pick it up?

The shouting continued. Xiaojun stayed the same, he did not move, and neither did he look back.

"I know I don't deserve this but don't leave me alone Dejun!" You fell on your knees as you let your emotions out. Your umbrella fell to the side, being terribly crushed by the rain.

It was difficult to tell your tears apart from the raindrops.

"If you loved me as much as you said, then please don't ever call me again. I don't think I'll ever be over you". Xiaojun stated, trying his best to hold back his tears. The pain could still be heard in his voice.

"Who do you think of when you sing all these songs?"

"I want to protect your days and nights. You are a miracle to me, I wish you could see it.~”

You still remembered these words. They were buried in your heart with those memories. The happy times of life when he would sing this song for you, only for you.

The black umbrella fell out of Xiaojun's grip. It was upside down, just like your umbrella, which now had the rainwater overflow. It was not easy for them to keep burdening themselves with that weight of pain, much like your hearts.

You were both drenched in the water, and in the pain.

He finally turned back, crying.

The moment was too hurtful to bear.

The rain was gloomy, but it was also ecstasy.

It was ecstasy for you when he held his arms open, allowing you to come back to him. He dropped everything that was precious to him, to get back the one most precious of them all.

You got up from your knees and ran to him, not caring about slipping and falling, because you had these arms to hold you. You and your heart.

"After a long wait, you're the one~"

You're my everything.

i've been doing the exact same thing GJSLGDF every scene blade is in i've reread multiple times while editing to give him the proper energy. he has to be hot or what is the point 😤

worldbuilding is an element of the writing process i've always loved, but working with a sci-fi setting in particular made it even more fun. the sky's the limit. i've actually had to stop myself from slapping in random technology doodads every ten seconds. the bigoted pebbles managed to make the cut, but that's just because i couldn't bring myself to delete a sentence that had the words 'bigotry' and 'pebbles' in it.

chapter five will be my greatest test . the scenes in it are what made me decide to write this story in the first place, so i'm really hoping i can capture it well 😭 it looks so cool and cinematic in my head ... just gotta... transfer that to words....

thank you so so so much, i'm beyond honored that nexus could stir up that interest in you again omg!!! writing's a tricky hobby since so many influences can increase/decrease your motivation to engage with it. i'm wishing you all the best and that it'll be fun for you!!!

NCT ALLURE ( hangul : 엔씨티 알류미 ) is a fictional female sub-unit under the famous coed group, nct. allure debuted on july twenty-eighth, twenty-sixteen with seven members. ever since then, the group has broken many records. nabi, yujin, kaori, chen and amelie made their debut in 2016 alongside former members, simi and chaein. harper and hyunjin made their debut in 2018 with "BOSS" and were added to allure on july 12, 2018. allure were active as a 5 member group from february 2017 to february 2018.

Album Overview ~ Time Of Day: Tomorrow

Finally posting this. Here's is the end of the Time Of Day Album series for AG. The big finale is coming up. I wanted to post this before getting to that (more like I had to for ending of these albums to make sense) Enjoy!! ~ Author Izzy

Album Details

NCT AG’s First Studio Album Repackage “Time Of Day: Tomorrow” was released on December 2nd.

With four songs added, the tracklist grows from thirteen to seventeen

The repackage title track is called AM to PM

Of the repackage, One brand new track, one released track and two unreleased tracks were added to the album

Go, a previously unreleased track, is a digital single on the album. Go is only available on streaming services.

With this album, the members of AG move forward past the Time Of Day albums to a new future with czennies

The album has two versions once again: PASTtime and FUTUREtime

Each album includes: A CD, a photobook, 1 folded poster, 2 photocard (random 2 of 8), 1 group photo card (random 1 out of 2), one timeline (random 1 of 4) and one postcard set (4 pcs).

Teasers

In the teaser for AM 2 PM, the girls leave the club they were at in B.O.Y laughing as they walk out.

Across the street, in an abandoned parking lot, a circle of cars with their headlight on create a spotlight on the crews of dancers in the middle dancing against each other.

“What’s going on over there?” Juno asked. The girls tried to look around standing on their toes to get more height to no avail. “We’re not gonna find out by standing here.” Aurora starts forward but the other three girls grab her, pulling the youngest back in place.

“I think we should dress properly before going over there.” Moxy points to the costume shop next door to where they stand with a smirk. The girls pile into the shop.

When the door closes, the frosted door displays “AM 2 PM Album and MV Release Dec 2nd”

Outfits

During the video, AG uses three outfits. One for the performance video. One for steady cam and one for the actual music video shoot

Performance Version: The girls wore white, black and purple. Juno wore a purple hoodie with white jeans and black sneakers. Hannah wore a long sleeve dress with black knee highs and white boots. Aurora wore a white shirt with a purple paisley jacket, black pants and white sneakers. Moxy wore a purple cargo pants, a white top with a black long sleeve underneath

Music Video: These outfits were old school velour tracksuits (a la Cheetah Girls) with headbands in the girls signature colors.

Steady Cam: The girls wore classic 2000’s matching outfits. Each outfit, once again was in the girls signature colors. The girls all wore white cropped shirts with a sprout icon on the front. They all wore leather shorts and knee high combat boots. Over it, they had long sleeve plaid shirts. On the backs of the shirts, they said the girls' names and a number (Like Dreamies jackets in Deja Vu). Moxy=31. Hannah=99. Juno=18. Aurora=03.

Music Video(s)

The video starts with the teaser as it was shot. The girls enter the costume shop and begin picking outfits to wear

For a couple of seconds the members try on several different costumes. All of them are rejected. Moxy suggests all black. Hannah comes out in a swimsuit (“It's cold outside!! We ain't wearing that!”). Aurora in the Black Parade suits (MCR) and Juno in a dress similar to Posh Spice. Every look is rejected, until the shopkeeper leads the girls to the back room where four outfits live on mannequins. The girls look at the outfits, then each other before shouting, “We’ll take em’!”

AG walks into the shot, in their new outfits, crossing the street to where the circle of cars are. The girls take turns climbing to the top of a truck to see what's going on. What meets their eyes are different crews of dancers battling each other. The girls get called out by the winning team. They tried to refuse but the leader of the winning crew says that they're scared. And we all know AG ain’t never scared. So they march their way to the front.

The song starts and with it the coolest dance battle to be filmed (after you got served and the beginning of Stomp the Yard). The girls pulled out all the moves to beat the crew in front of them.

In the part of the video with the girls battle dancing, these dances are separate from the actual choreography. The only parts of the official choreo used is the chorus at the end of the song.

The rest of the video incorporated videos of the performance video, steady cam footage, and the footage of the dance battles.

In the end, the girls ‘win’ by taking the bucket hat from the leader of the opposing crew, causing the disruption to dissipate. The girls celebrate their win by dancing with all the dancers. The song replays as the credits roll

BTS

The albums looked like time machines. The were modeled after the time machine boxes that SM used for Resonance Pt.1

The PASTtime version was colored gold while the FUTUREtime version was silver. In the PASTtime version, the girls were dressed in outfits that resemble their past title track costumes but better. For example, the stylist took the SLAP outfits and upgraded them like the ones they wore for Emergency.

Nobody understood what a Timeline was until their albums arrived. A Timeline was a booklet filled with pictures of the girls through the years until the present time. Juno’s was the most sought after because her Timeline included photos of herself scanned from her scrapbook

AM 2 PM maintains the energy of B.O.Y while infusing 2000’s pop and hip/hip influences.

GO! was recorded during the girls pre-debut period. Go was one of the four songs considered as a title track for Time Of Day: Dawn. When it came to discussing the songs added to Time Of Day, the girls made a request to bring one of these tracks out of the vault and Go was chosen as the strongest.

Many fans questioned SM for switching GO! for Something Like A Party as AG’s debut track. Thus fueling the fire of those fans who think AG would be further along if they had debuted with a stronger song.

For Liberty Walk, Hannah sat down with one of Label V’s writers once again to pen the lyrics for the song. With their help, Hannah was able to write an empowering song about leaving a harmful relationship

AG was preparing for the repackage during B.O.Y promotions. Once the video was released fans recognized every time the girls spoiled the dance, lyrics or melody in any of their videos

The worst time was during the vlive they did after MAMA. Juno outright sang a bit of the chorus which sent all the girls into stitches.

The girls did a countdown live where they talked about the new tracks on the album. On the show, Aurora talked about GO

“GO'' was the first song we ever recorded as a group of four. Way before we were given Something Like A Party, we recorded GO. Personally I liked GO better than Something Like A Party. I was one of the first to vote for GO being added to the tracklist.”

“With this album being about acknowledging our past but moving to the future, we wanted to give our fans a gift in the form of songs we’ve recorded before. People may not know but when your favorite albums are made, dozens of songs are considered for the tracklist. When they don’t fit, they sit on hardrives until they do. There’s probably even more songs we could release that we recorded before Time Of Day: Dawn.” Moxy added

AM 2 PM reached 16 million views in 24 hours. The fastest AG video to reach this number since Breakout. Breakout reached 10 million views in 24 hours.

The girls promoted AM 2 PM for only one week this time because of packed schedules. They did win three times at music shows.

Liberty Walk was chosen as the lead b-side. Fans loved the combination of the two songs. While AM 2 PM is a dance song, Liberty Walk is an empowerment song. In terms of dance, Liberty Walk is a formation heavy dance with roundoff’s galore.

The AM 2 PM dance was inspired by 2000’s female dance choreographies. Specifically Case Of The Ex by Mya and anything by Aaliyah.

During the reaction, the girls were all screaming to express their cringe at the partner dance in the second chorus. In 127’s reaction, all the boys were mad at how close the male dancers got to their girls, whining that they didn’t have to touch that much

A couple members of dream were strangely quiet during the partner dance section *cough Renjun, Chenle, Mark and Haechan cough*

The AG channel released many videos during promotions. The one video that garnered a TON of views was the GO! track video. It was revealed that GO! wasn’t just a song considered for the title track. SM actually had the girls film half a music video for this song before scrapping it for SLAP.

In the BTS of the video shoot, Moxy revealed that her partner was a friend from SOPA who was majoring in dance.

The girl filmed a ton of #AM2PMChallenge videos with the idols in attendance at MAMA. Moxy shot one with I.N and Felix from Stray Kids. Aurora shot on with Junghwan and Doyoung from Treasure. Hannah and Chaeyoung from Itzy filmed together.

The one that garnered the most comments was Juno and Haruto’s version. After seeing the two hug each other at MAMA, netizens were wondering where the closeness came from.

Even though the promotions were short, the girls reassured NCTzens that bigger things were coming on the horizon that they should prepare for.

For the new years eve concert, The girls performed five songs: B.O.Y, AM 2 PM, Breakout!, Do It Like This and Cannonball

Right after a section of AG performances, A video was played. In the video were various clips of the members of AG arguing at a meeting room table.

“I think we need to have two cover sections. One for girl groups and one for boy groups.”

“I want to start the ****** with Breakout. It's our biggest song. It makes sense to send the fans home with that song.”

“Is everyone ready with their song covers?” “We all have one cover and one solo right?”

“We should kick off with Cannonball.” “I actually wanted to use Cannonball during the last section.”

“Can we see the costume sketches again?”

“What’s the word on pyro. Can we have pyro in the venue.”

“****** ****, **********, **** ****, ******, and **** **. I think those are the songs we wanna use for one of the cover sections.”

The video ends with Hannah voice saying, “I think that's enough for today.” and fades to a black screen. In the corner in typewriter font, the words “AG Presents, Coming Soon”
