- the first person he’s telling is kacchan, literally his soulmate/brother/best friend. he can barely keep it together enough over a surprise visit to his apartment with his partner that he just starts crying happily while his partner clarifies that they're expecting and they'd like for him to be a god-parent

- bakugo, uraraka, ida, todoroki and tsu would all be his kid's aunties and uncles (just imagine bakugo being uncle kacchan!!!)

- he’d be the kind of partner to overly excited and willing to do any and everything for his partner's comfort. they want ramen in the middle of the night? he's got his shoes on the second they ask. they need a new movie to watch? he's browsing through channels to set up a recording for them later, knowing they're bound to fall asleep before it's finished. they're achy and tired? he's got a hot bath ready for them every night with a cup of their favorite tea.

- him and his mom would be blubbering messes together, during and after the pregnancy. she'd be the best grandma in the world and melt every time he or his partner called her "Granny Inko"

- he'd text his partner while out on patrol every hour to check in or just to say "i love you" and "i miss you"

- he’d also pass down his old all might themed baby clothes to his own kid, just like bakugo, and cry tears of joy every time they run around with the all might onesie on 😭😭

I haven't drawn in a good while, but gxdofthesun's fic "bad ideas (and good results)" inspired me to pick it up again.

I will say that My Hero Academia foreshadowing is no joke. Giving us the prompt that quirks will only get stronger as humanity advances showing us the literal in children and in the students (Aizawa and All Might’s episode of going to the student homes) but also in the extreme cases like the Dabi and Shoto, literal powerhouses made of selected breeding. (Shigaraki and Eri would fall into this category too but for different reasons)

All this to show that crossing quirks is no joke and has some serious ramifications in universe. Once we have that instilled in our brains, that is when we get the second quirk reveal. This is quirk-breeding in an alternative light. Quirk-Cultivation if you will, and like the former it is nothing to bat an eye at. Just from what we see Deku already struggles with one power and barley functioning (in the anime) with two. Much like the Todoroki’s and their power struggles.

One thing about My Hero is that it’s gonna foreshadow and have thematic parallels.

I'm a 16 year old female but I look and act mature for my age(due to trauma) so I often get mistaked as an 18 year old or even older sometimes. Some dislikes of mine are bananas, P.E./sports(volleyball is okay tho), and men/father figures in my life-. My music taste includes the artists, The Neighborhood, Girl In Red, The Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez, Alec Benjamin, Corpse, and Conan Gray! I'm bisexual/omnisexual so either gender could work but in mha I lean towards having a stronger preference for the guys compared to the girls so do with that what you will. Traits I dislike in others are immaturity, impatience, disrespect, pushing boundaries, and not listening. Traits I look for in others are respect, kindness, understanding, patience, and humor. You two meet in Deku’s third year at U.A! Deku appreciates your maturity and level-headedness. It’s a nice change from the rambunctious group that is 1-A. He doesn’t mind your bluntness and helps explain away your sometimes cold attitude if you come off as insensitive to others. In addition, he helps a lot with your social anxiety, often offering to hold your hand in public situations.

I see your quirk as something water-based or ice-based, and it goes splendidly with Deku’s quirk(s)! You two are a powerful duo that no one really wants to mess with. Deku is incredibly kind, understanding, and patient, and while he’s not the most humorous, he has his quirks that make you laugh :) I see his love language being words of affirmation, both giving and receiving. He loves to tell you that he loves you and compliments you and your abilities all the time. He tries his best to help out with your physical and mental issues. He also urges you to seek help with your trauma because there’s only so much talking to him can do.

So I’ve been joking for a while about how Inko manages to afford all of Izuku’s AM merch

But I decided to nerd out and look closer, and I’m pretty sure the only expensive piece Izuku owns is the poster he got from Sir

You might think his dorm looks absolutely stacked

but that’s only because it’s a very small room and he brought every piece he owns

If you look in his old room it’s all the same posters

so he’s owned it all for at least a few years, he’s been working up to this for god knows how many years, just to be the proud owner of 5 posters so basic even he would put tape on them

All of his figures are less than 50$

One of which he’s had since he was a child

And it doesn’t look like the other unidentified figures are anything special either(except maybe AM in his yellow suit)

Izuku only has generic fanboy shit, like maybe one of the posters is a custom but I honestly I don’t think he owns a single special anything

The dead guy poster is 100% the coolest thing he has, no wonder he’s so reverent about it 💀

TLDR; angsty Quirkless Izuku and Hero Grad(?) Bakugo trying to become friends again if everything went different in episode 1. Bakugo’s apology/ self reflection/ etc. etc.

I’m pretty sure (as an anime only cause I’m broke) that the main reason Bakugo’s apology works so well is because he and Delu have grown into the people they needed to be. Deku a confident and conpetent semi-leader (we can touch on his OTHER flaws during that arc later) and Bakugo, more compassionate and understanding. A literal inverse of their usual selves.

I say this because though I haven’t read many AU’s regarding this the general consensus on Deku’s attitude is bitterness. While I do love a good bitter bitch,

(this is part where I start to ramble)

If Deku didn’t save Bakugo, All Might did and then Deku doesn’t enroll for UA and stays quirkless. Bakugo goes to UA and being Bakugo gets kidnapped by the league. I think all except for Iida and Momo would go to rescue him. Shoto being the one with different motives, he has no reason to tolerate Bakugo or even like him so at this point it’s just to understand why Dabi addressed him as such. Miraculously they don’t get expelled etc. etc.

The new Bakugo that’s now been traumatized two times over meets up with Deku and they talk, catch up. From Deku perspective it’s hard to want to be nice because Bakugo has clearly matured and moved on yet Izuku had to live with those comments, those jabs and bullying. Live with the fact that his dreams were crush, Bakugo has the life he wanted.

I want this angst, I NEED this angst. And not villian Deku either. Normal everyday high schooler Deku and if I had any confidence in my writing ability I’d make this myself.

I do want them to be friends, best friends but I need them to work for it. I want Izuku angrily blowing up at Bakugo after holding everything in. I want Bakugo realizing that he was counting on Izuku being too nice to ever really be mad at him and now he’s scrambling because he secretly was expecting immediate forgiveness.

Maybe it’s my bully/bullied heart aching, who knows.

This one right here. The one that Katsuki is constantly referring back to as "the moment where it all went wrong" and being all dramatic about. His core memory of Izuku being a hero.

But I raise you this... Katsuki does not remember this scene,

This is the scene where a young Katsuki has just finished winning a fight against some older kids that were being bullies.

The scene that is Izuku flashes back to when thinking about Katsuki's heroic nature.

Because Katsuki does not remember a time when he stood up to Bullies instead of being one.
