Ugghh been consuming some bnha stuff and I'm reminded of why I largely prefer fanfiction over the actual story. I have so much hate and pettiness within me. Even so, I am never going to change my mind on how much I hate how bnha is just an amalgamation of wasted potention. Search the definition of wasted potential up and there's just an image of bnha.
I remember watching it as the first season was coming about because it was made by Bones and I just have to watch it in that case. I watched episode one and was so excited.
We have our mc, Midoriya Izuku, being powerless in a world full of quirks.
His childhood friend turned bully, Bakugou Katsuki, is shown to be favoured by literally everyone and this feeds into his ego.
All Might, the number one hero, is jaded and powerless for 21 hours of the day because of a fight nobody knew existed. Izuku is attacked and helpless, but saved by All Might. All Might tells him he can't become a hero. A much needed reality check because Izuku didn't work out a single bit before then and it's so incredibly hard to fight someone who has something you lack.
Then Bakugou is attacked and helpless. Bakugou, who is so much stronger and who people love, is left useless, only able to make the situation worse with his explosions creating a fire hazard. The pro-heroes can't do anything. All Might and Izuku both hate themselves for the part they played and how useless they are. Then Izuku sees how scared Bakugou is. He runs in, inspiring All Might as he mocks himself for breaking Izuku's dream yet forgetting the core of heroism.
Then, after all is said and done, All Might goes back to Izuku. And he tells him he can become a hero.
...
Then he offers him One for All. Now, when I was watching this for the first time, I was so disappointed. You set up a powerless mc in a world full of powers and you just give him the power of the strongest hero? Great. But, I kept watching.
I watched Izuku work to get his power, struggle even after getting a quirk. I watched as Izuku finally stood up for himself and win against Bakugou. I watched as the series went on and I... I started noticing more and more missed opportunities.
See, bnha is supposed to be a zero to hero story. It's supposed to be about the mc going from powerless to powerful. But it does it so quickly. Suddenly, it's not about Izuku finding his own form of strength, or realising how being quirkless may not give any advantages but it also has no disadvantages, or even any commentary on quirk discrimination or fantastic racism or anything.
It turns into a story about controlling your power. It's not what I signed up for.
That's just one missed potential. There's so many more. Horikoshi clearly tries to make some commentary on quirk discrimination and female heroes/sexism in the workplace and entertainment over peace. There's some effort put into making a comment on how heroes are glorified and people don't see them as public workers, they see them as celebreties.
But it's never delved into. We don't see how bad people with mutant or 'villainous' quirks are treated, and we don't see how people with weak quirks are treated, or how the quirkless are treated (because the only reason Izuku was treated so horribly was because of Bakugou). We don't see how female heroes need to have a bit of allure in their personas to have any sort of support.
Yuuei is literally a camp for making child soldiers, yet there's no controversy over it? There's no such things as heroes having to take lethal action and no moral dilemmas over it? There's nobody speaking out about how Midnight flirts with students?
We have literally no information about how heroes work. We don't know how their salaries are decided, how they're ranked, how undergound heroes work. if twilight heroes are a thing, how anybody but Rock Lock feels about bringing children into adult matters, (seriously, why do people hate Rock Lock for being rightfully worried about having 15 year olds in a raid against the yakuza), we don't know how villains work and how to decide if one's a criminal or a villain.
Heck, the only laws we know of are fanon, and the canon stupid idea that you can't use your quirk in self-defense.
It's just. Incredibly infuriating.
Also, analysis as a whole is so under-utilised. Both Izuku and Shigaraki are deemed creepy for their analysis, which is such a useful tool. I mean, Izuku accurately guesses Stain's quirk, which is useful because, otherwise, they wouldn't be wary about Stain licking their blood or cutting them. Shigaraki accurately guesses the time intervals between Aizawa's blinks, which helps him a shit ton.
But is it ever used outside of these situations? No. The thing is, quirks are scientific in nature, not magic. Therefore, they're not restricted like magic is. Fire doesn't always have to be fire, it can be smoke or just heat. Ice can be water or steam. Acid can melt through anything or just be used as a mario kart banana peel.
There was so much missed potential and that's exactly why there's so much fan content.
Horikoshi leaves so much out, and everything he misses tends to be the interesting parts. He willfully explains Bakugou's quirk in detail, but everyone else? Nah. Fuck them.
I mean, let's look at Ochako's quirk.
Gravity negation. Or is it? See, if it were just gravity negation, then two things, in particular, would happen. First of all, Izuku would have fucking died when she saved him from falling. Second of all, she would not have been able to get infinity in the ball throw.
Negating gravity does not negate the forces. Therefore, when she saved Izuku from falling, he would have still been affected by the force of his fall. It would have been no different from hitting the concrete. Additionally, when she threw the ball, it kept going. Air drag would have made it so that she couldn't possibly get an infinity.
More accurately, rather than force negation as some fanfics suggests, she's telekinetically accelerating whatever she touches. She telekinetically accelerates Izuku's body to stop him falling, and does the reverse for the ball, making it so that it continues to accelerate after she throws it.
See what I mean? Because Horikoshi gave Bakugou's quirk a scientific explanation with him sweating a nitroglycerin-like substance and being able to spark it, you have to look at every quirk with scientific knowledge. He could have said 'oh, yeah, I store energy from my quirk in these gauntlets' but Hori just had to be a smartass.
By the way, because of Bakugou's explanation, it's possible that his quirk is not what is named. Yes, it's possible to have two sides of a quirk, as we see in Shouto, but Bakugou's quirk isn't explained in the same way.
Rather than his quirk being creating explosions, his quirk is more like creating sparks in his palms. Why? Well, you see. Bnha never delves into actual quirk theory, but there's more than enough canon evidence that you have one main quirk and then one or more quirk mutations. For example, Ashido Mina's quirk is secreting acid that she can manipulate the acidity and viscocity of. Her appearance is not related to her quirk at all, meaning it's a quirk mutation from her parents. Same with Tokoyami Fumikage. Quirk is Dark Shadow, so there's no need for the bird head.
Why does this relate to Bakugou? Let me explain: Bakugou explains that he recieved a mutation from his parents with his mother secreting glycerin and his father sweating acid with combustive properties. In other words, Bakugou inherited nitroglycerin-like sweat from his parents, but his actual quirk is being able to create sparks.
His quirk is 'Sparks'. Not Explosions.
Why am I ranting about this? Because bnha completely misses all of this! It makes no sense which is a shame because the concept is so interesting! But then it throws away any scraps of potential left when it becomes 'My Kacchan Academia'.
Seriously, why do people and why does Horikoshi love abusive pieces of shit so much? Why did he throw away the potential to look into Shouto and his siblings' feeling about Endeavour? Why did he make Dabi's plot all about Endeavour instead of Shouto?
It's so easy to compare the ways Dabi and Shouto handle their trauma and their ways of revenge. It's so easy to look at Dabi and think about how easy it would have been for Shouto to become like him.
Shouto was transfixed on Endeavour. Everything he did related back to his hate for Endeavour. Using his quirk, fighting, grades, social interaction, everything. His only reason for becoming a hero is to spite Endeavour. It's only because Izuku reaches out to him and saves him from his own toxic mindset that he's able to move one and do things for himself.
Dabi, or Touya, on the other hand, doesn't get that. He doesn't get that person who recognises how far he's gone, how, in trying to spite Enveavour, he's living a life centred on him. How he's jealous of his little brother for being abused and tormented.
While Shouto became a hero to spite Endeavour, Dabi became a villain.
They're both full of hatred at first, but Shouto is saved from that spiral. Izuku helps him. Dabi doesn't have that. It would have been so interesting to see these two face of as parellels, but nope. It's all about Endeavour. Shouto is nothing more than an accessory.
I understand Dabi being hung up on Endeavour, but to outright replace Shouto with the abusive flaming trashbag? No.
Also, if Horikoshi wanted Dabi to be seen as sympathetic or redeemable, don't make him kill innocent people. Don't make it so that he unlocks an ice aspect to his quirk in a life-or-death situation because all that means is that Endeavour was right to hurt Touya the way he did. All that says is Endeavour should have hurt him more.
AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON BAKUGOU.
This piece of shit bullied Izuku relentlessly for years, used his quirk on him (yes that is canon), told him to end his life, tried to assault him in Yuuei, tried to kill him, threw a tantrum at an abused kid for not being magically okay with using a quirk that reminded him of his abusive father, assaults Izuku when he tries to work together but still magically gets a pass for being carried out unconcious which Sero was failed for, and the list just keeps growing.
Oh, but my bad. He has a sad backstory. You see, he fell in a river.

Usually in a lot of different media, a power nullifier ability is overpowered and sometime they might or might not have drawbacks. Eraser is overpowered in the sense that it prevents emitter and transformation Quirks via Line of Sight and has a reasonable weakness in not affecting mutant Quicks and is dependent on the eyes working. (And also that Aizawa's dry eye might be related to his usage of his Quirk overtime).
I wonder that since Aizawa is an underground hero, he's more likely to work in the dark, which makes it harder for the unskilled villains to counteract against him and actually spreading meaningful information about how to counteract him. It's just that when Aizawa is in board daylight, the "knock them down in one hit" trick will eventually hit a wall if his opponent didn't get knocked down immediately, if the mob overpowers him or someone else(i.e. Shigaraki) figures him out and does a counterattack that Aizawa isn't prepared for. I wonder if he is even prepared for such a scenario that (assuming his Quirk is effective on his opponent's Quirk) he was not able to knock them down in one hit.
I'm then reminded of the fact that during the Shie Hassaikai Arc when they're rescuing Eri, he was canceling Toga's Quirk as she was mimicking Rock Lock and was capturing her with his scarf, Toga took control of the situation by grabbing his scrap in return and stabbing him, thus preventing him from joining Izuku when he had to fight Overhaul. Which means that Aizawa isn't prepared at all when he loses control over his scarf.
Aizawa the Quirkless Hero and supporter of a Quirkless Hero? Ha, I say that he's just a scrub who's dependent upon his Quirk and would actively discourage such people(and if he has too) or make them learn the complicated scarf style. All of those All Might bashing fics for Quirkless Hero Izuku don't even read the manga or watch the anime at least once. They only get bad information just from reading fanfics and the telephone game reversed the two's position.
Sometimes I feel like I need to take words away from people and "overpowered" is one of them. From writing advice articles and videos calling it "unrealistic" to this. There is nothing realistic about Quirks; that's the point. Is an alien from Krypton gaining powers from a yellow sun suddenly more plausible if he isn't bulletproof? I digress. That's not the point you're making, but it annoys me enough that I brought it up anyway.
More relevant to this point you're making, overpowered, outside of its context in gaming as a metagame defining game piece, refers to a character that can trivialize the narrative they are in. Superman as a Hero in Gotham would be overpowered. That's why he's in Metropolis, facing geniuses with legal protection. Goku can bench press planets but so can the people he fights. Akabara Strauss is the strongest character in Record of a Fallen Vampire, but he's trapped in a Tragedy instead of a battle series. Mob from Mob Psycho starts as the strongest psychic in the series, but he's a pacifist trying to understand his place in the world. Context matters.
Aizawa is not overpowered in My Hero Academia. Disabling the activation of those Quirks does not trivialize the narrative.
Regarding the rest of your analysis, it's interesting to note that the Villains at the USJ recognized him, meaning that he hasn't really done a great job at hiding how his Quirk works. Actually come to think of it, nobody in MHA bothers to hide their Quirk's function. They may not advertise it but in Hunter x Hunter this lackadaisical attitude would be a death sentence.
Aizawa was actually present for the Overhaul fight; it was Chronostasis who took him out, not his stab wound. And yeah, he would've made the fight easy, but the main conflict was not Overhaul it was saving Eri.
This last point is right on the money though. Aizawa disapproves of Midoriya's inability to use his Quirk, showing no interest in training him or in any potential that is not his Quirk, like him recognizing Underground Hero Eraserhead. Nothing we have seen from Aizawa suggests he would support a Quirkless Hero.

Pardon me if this comes off as me putting on a tin-foil hat, but in light of Ojiro and the Sports Festival, I find interesting how acceptable (for lack of a better word) and unaddressed casual discrimination against those with mutant Quirks are. We're told that there's little to no discrimination against them in the cities, but the evidence doesn't support that.
We have Shinsou repeatedly referring to Ojiro as "monkey" or "that monkey".
We have Shoto calling the Hosu chief "you mutt".
We even have Nejire saying how glad she is that Tsuyu isn't a "gross toad".
Gang Orca is said to be near the top of a poll of "heroes who look like villains", soley based on the fact that he's an orca mutant.
And aside from Izuku standing up for Ojiro, this goes completely unaddressed. Not even a "hey, Todoroki, that wasn't right of you to call him that," or Shinsou or Nejire apologizing for their comments. Not even Pro-Heroes being like "yeah his Quirk has potential, but he shouldn't have been saying those things about his teammate."
Hi @nutzgunray-lvt 👋,
That doesn't seem too tin foil hat in nature to me.
All of those instances if handled differently could have sowed the seeds of mutant discrimination throughout the story instead of leaving it to be quickly resolved by Shoji to a Nomu-ifed Spinner and his army.
Shinsou calling Ojiro "that monkey" and people actually disagreeing with that sentiment I.e in the crowds having those with hearing quirks like Jirou and Shoji being like "what the hell, that's too far!" and "what a discriminatory dick." To highlight how wrong he is for saying such a thing rather than brushing it off after Izu takes offence on Ojiro's behalf.
Have Izuku express to Todoroki that calling the Police Chief Dog mutant a "mutt" is too far / wrong / discriminatory.
Have Gang Orca offer Shoji and Koda internships because he's a mutant like them and knows how it feels to be seen as scary / villianous when he's not.
And as for that Nejire comment with her saying she is glad Tsuyu isn't a "Gross toad". Tsuyu should have taken strong offence to that because her Dad is a toad mutant! Come on Hori!
TLDR - All of these instances in MHA could have and should have been plot threads leading to the mutant discrimination subplot of the series but Hori seems to have dropped this part of his work like a hot potato.

So I know you’ve done a post where you replaced the 6 ofa quirks. Could you do this but you’re limited to just mutant quirks. If this is too difficult then transformation, and if is still difficult the just emitters but your free to keep some like black whip for example
The issue with Mutant types is that they are too strong as they are, involve some physical enhancements, or just aren't that interesting. When picking out Quirks for this, I prefer the idea of weak Quirks growing stronger and that the new Quirks are worthwhile features, not further supporting the already immense power of "One For All". So I will try to stick to the two categories. I will give an honorable mention to "Beast" though. It is redundant with all the strength boosts, but hey, it could work as the dangerous super mode and could have a lot of fun design choices.
Tumblr media
Zoom: Considering the lack of sensory abilities with the Quirk, this could help a lot with that. This could result in either growing to include more kinds of refined senses or being able to develop more kinds of senses in the eyes, either of which could be useful. Even then, it could have a cool to see it charged with "One For All", maybe going into a speed thinking state similar to "Overclock".
Jet: This is kind of redundant with Izuku's abilities, but I think would add another layer to it. Besides the consistent flight offered, it could be neat to see Izuku open up holes at any point in his body to project the air, using it to augment other parts his body, suddenly push himself around to redirect his body, or use it to make more focused, powerful blasts of his air attacks at any point.
Pliabody: This could wear a lot of hats for Deku. It's could help with ability to work in rescue, increase his survivability with evasion, and the stretchiness could a lot of fun options with the enhance physic. Rather then simply increasing the power output of "One For All", it simply gives the user more options to apply it. Think something like the various tricks Luffy has pulled off in his story.
Scales: I did consider "Hardening" because of how well it fit thematically, but I went with "Scales" since I think it had more to offer. Not only do I think that the grow scales could be fun to play around with, like making weapons out of them or firing them out on bursts of wind, they could have some fun combinations, like applying an effect through shooting out the scales, such as making bursts of air come out of them when used with "Jet".
Tape: While it could simply be my enjoyment of "Blackwhip" making me want to pick this, I think "Tape" can bring it's own to the table. Not only could Izuku use it to swing around and bind people, but I think would be great with rescue work, similar to how Sero uses it but on a larger scale, tying back whole structures together. Then it has some fun potential with other abilities, like using it with "Pliabody" to effectively make it act more like rubber.
Quad Arms: This may seem like a silly choice, but I think this would make for an interesting for one of the earlier Quirks for "One For All". Imagine instead of simply having two arms, it lets you duplicates parts like "Dupli Arms", but all around you body. Not only could this create so many interesting attack combos, but could be giving him more chances to apply the other Quirks, like more eyes for "Zoom", or combing the Quirks in other ways, like making super massive arms made from the "Scales".

bnha class 1-a randomly generated quirkswap au blurbs
(also in this au mineta is replaced by shinso)
Yuga Aoyama - Acid
He sparkles and shines, too bad he accidentally sprays acid everywhere with his grand gesturing. He just wants to be famous! Why does he have to have such a gross quirk?
Mina Ashido - Navel Laser
Her pink skin, hair, and horns were all very eye-catching, but most eye-catching of all is her ability to shoot a bright powerful laser from her bellybutton. Only for a second though or she gets massive cramps.
Tsuyu Asui- Zero Gravity
She accidentally floats herself a lot, so holds her arms out from her body to prevent this from happening. She loves the water, but swimming through the air is almost as good.
Tenya Iida - Brainwashing
Despite not having his family's prized quirk, he's resolved to prove that he can still become a hero and uphold their legacy. He makes a point to be as honest and straightforward as possible to make up for his more sinister quirk.
Ochako Ururaka - Frog
She comes from a poor mutant family that had to face a lot of discrimination. She's going to use her frog-like powers to become a successful hero that makes lots of money to support them.
Mashirao Ojiro - Explosion
He's a pretty normal teenager, and teenagers sweat a lot. Unfortunately his sweat is explosive nitroglycerin. With a lot of training, he makes it work for him.
Denki Kaminari - Creation
He can make anything if he knows its composition! Unfortunately he's... really bad at memorizing what different things are made of. Mostly he just makes useless junk.
Eijiro Kirishima - Dark Shadow
He's a friendly and manly guy! His sentient quirk, not so much. The shadow version of himself that emerges from his body in the darkness is a terrifying quirk, but if anyone can wrangle it, he can!
Koji Koda - Earphone Jack
He's a quiet gentle guy with a tough rocky exterior. He hears everything though, with his sound-boosting quirk. And he can get Real loud when he wants to be.
Rikido Sato - One For All
He grew up quirkless, and with no great ambition other than to be kind. He gave his food to a skeletal man he met on the beach one day. They became friends, and eventually, the man revealed he was truly All Might, the number one hero. He was chosen as his successor, and now he had a motivation, to do as much good as possible by becoming the next symbol of peace. Through kindness, anything is possible.
Mezo Shoji - Invisibility
He always wears a mask. Not that it covers anything up. He's tall, buff, and completely invisible.
Kyoka Jiro - Anivoice
She's a punk-rock music lover. Unfortunately, animals can understand her, and most of the time they don't agree with her style. If you need an angry swarm of any creature that might be nearby, she's your hero.
Hanta Sero - Half Cold Half Hot
He has one of the world's most powerful quirks by total luck. Too bad he just wants to chill out and have fun.
Fumikage Tokoyami - Hardening
He has an unrelated mutation giving him feathers and a beak. His quirk allows him to turn those features to steel by hardening them to an incredibly sturdy substance.
Shoto Todoroki - Tape
The pro hero Endeavor was trying to create the perfect successor. And sometimes, a kid with a perfect split of white and red hair develops a totally unique quirk through a strange mutation. He can create tape. And shoot it from his elbows.
Toru Hakagure - Dupliarms
She's a totally normal girl! With six arms. That she can grow extra body parts on. She just wishes there was a cute guy out there with a thing for weird arms.
Katsuki Bakugou - Tail
He's determined to be the greatest. He may be pretty normal aside from a powerful prehensile tail, but that thing is a constant lashing force of destruction under the force of his rage.
Izuku Midoriya - Sugar Rush
When he was a kid, eating sugar would make him absolutely bonkers. His mother cut it out of his diet, but turns out his quirk transforms sugar into the motherlode of all rushes, granting him superhuman speed and strength. Only, afterwards, his body totally gives out.
Hitoshi Shinso - Engine
He's got engines in his legs. He's a speedster but never really figured out how to use his quirk for combat, so didn't manage to make it into the hero course. He wants to prove himself though, and worked hard for this transfer.
Momo Yaoyorozu - Electrification
She is a top-level student, her intellect is her pride. Unfortunately, if she uses her quirk too much, that prized intelligence is shocked away to nothing as her IQ drops tremendously until she recovers.

Sweet Like Summer Candy
🍏
Midoriya Izuku x Reader
(pro hero deku x reader)
Word Count: 4.1 k
Warnings: Cursing, aged up characters
Reader is written with a female in mind (but i don’t use many pronouns to describe the reader and they’re referred to as partner instead of girlfriend)
Summary:
You visited your grandparents in Japan for 3 summers when you were younger, becoming close friends with the quirkless boy next door. Unfortunately you lost touch during middle school. Not to worry though, you’re here in Japan to stay and ready to rekindle your friendship, or something more. And you’re a little surprised when you realize what he does for a living
Or reader has no idea that Izuku is the no 1 pro hero
Link to ao3 here
There’s more chapters on ao3 I’m just behind posting them here :)
Ch1, Ch2 Ch4
Chapter 3: Sour Like Green Apples
“Oso, he was sculpted like a Greek god! I think he’s a model or something, all of his friends were so attractive, or had these really interesting mutant quirks.” You groan, sinking into your seat by the windows of the cafe. Oso was sitting across from you on her break sipping a mug of mocha.
“Hmm, sounds like you really lucked out, he’s rich, nice and attractive. What are your secrets?” She teases you rolling her eyes.
“I’m being serious! And then he just ran away,” You groan. “He’s hardly said anything to me since, I think he knows I like him, and is trying to let me down gently.” It was just your luck to fall in love with your best friend. In your defense, how could anyone not fall in love with him? He was perfect, sweet, attentive, caring- and damn did he look good.
“He hardly texted you before. How do you know he’s avoiding you?” Oso says. You consider her very real, very valid point. Then you shake your head.
“He usually tells me when he’s going to be this busy.” You pull out your phone to show her your exchanged messages. “The only thing he’s said since friday, was that he was glad I came to the movie and hopes that Kacchan wasn’t too mean.” Oso looks over your shoulder at the offending message.
“Who’s Kacchan?” She asks you. You flush, this was a part of your story that you deliberately left out when explaining what happened that night. You didn’t want to relive your lapse of judgment.
“He’s one of Izuku’s old friends, I actually knew him back in the day too. Anyway he called me an extra and I may or may not have started an argument with him. Boy let me tell you, his personality hasn’t changed at all. He was trying to blow me up with his quirk before his friend stopped him.” You briefly explain your encounter with the porcupine. Oso looks at you with a dawning realization. She opens her mouth to ask a follow up question, before her timer goes off alerting the both of you that her break was over. She gets up from her seat, excusing herself to go back to work. You sigh, picking up your phone to scroll through social media trying to get your mind off your dilemma. Your friends from back home were posting pictures of a fun beach vacation to Hawaii. There were a couple posts about the villian going around, supposedly ambushing heroes on their days off. Some lower ranking hero’s were badly injured from the surprise attacks, and people were getting really heated over the usage of support gear. You read some articles criticizing hero’s for their over reliance on tools, and condemning the hero’s injuries -caught off guard without support gear. You scroll by them in disdain, focusing on some journal spreads you found interesting and saving them as inspiration for later.
You occupy yourself for a little over an hour as Oso finishes her shift. You promised to walk her home today. The area she lived in had an increase in muggings. Usually her fiancé was able to pick her up, but today he had a late shift. You offered to walk her home. Her apartment was in the exact opposite direction you lived in, but you’d rather take a longer walk home at night, than leaving Oso for dead in case she really did get mugged.
Soon enough she had closed the shop for the night and you began your walk through the dimly lit streets. The two of you talk about anything and everything. She was excited to be going on a weekend away with her fiancé. He planned a trip for her as a surprise, it was really sweet, and you couldn’t help but smile seeing her gush about him. All the talk of love made you think about a certain green haired someone. You never saw him after that night, by the time you had woken up he was gone. He left a little note explaining he had work, and that he left you a fresh croissant on the counter. It was sweet how much he cared, even after you’d come on too strong. As you're walking and talking you hear what sounds like metal scraping against concrete.
“(Y/N),” Oso’s voice calls out to you, trembling. Ahead of you stood a tall man with a long sharp head of hair trailing behind him. Each strand looks like a flexible sword, dragging behind him. It scrapes against the cement causing sparks. You step in front of Oso protectively. You didn’t know what this man wanted, hopefully he’d leave the two of you alone.
“Hand over your wallet and things won’t get hairy,” he calls out to you, voice hoarse. You narrow your eyes, sizing him up. He didn’t look super strong, but you had Oso to think of.
“Leave us alone, we don’t have money on us,” You call back out to the man. Oso grabs onto your hand, you give her a comforting squeeze, but not daring to turn away from the mugger. He gives you a little huff, before bowing his head down fast, whipping his head full of blades toward you. You raise your arms in defense, feeling the use of your quirk. The impact never comes. When you open your eyes, the villain is trapped in a layer of ice, his bladed hair inches from you. You follow the path of ice, seeing a familiar set of heterochromatic eyes. This was Izuku’s friend. He looks over at you passively before turning to someone next to him. In a span of minutes, the mugger was thawed with fire, and set into handcuffs before being escorted away by the individuals who came with Izuku’s friend. When that was all said and done the dual colored man walks up to you and Oso.
“You are (Y/N) correct?” He asks you. You shudder under his cool gaze, he was no less intimidating up close than he was from afar.
“Uh yes, that’s me. Thank you for freezing that guy,” you gesture to the recently thawed mugger. He nods in acknowledgment.
“Wait, do you know eachother?” Oso leaves her stupor looking between the two of you.
“We met briefly at the movie night, this is…” you trail off looking at the stranger. You were sure Izuku had mentioned his name once, but you had completely forgotten it.
“Shoto Todoroki,” he fills in for you, his lips upturned in a small smile. Next to you Oso gawks.
“I know who he is!” She exclaims. “I mean you actually know eachother?” She holds her hand up to her head.
“Yes?” You and Shoto utter simultaneously. It seemed as though he was as confused with her outburst as you were.
“Is there a reason I shouldn’t?” You turn to your friend.
“When were you going to tell me you met a pro-hero at his movie night!” Oso exclaims next to you, before realizing how she sounded and covering her mouth. She mumbles out a quick apology to the man standing next to you. You turn to look at him, so he wasn’t a model. It makes sense though, considering he had saved you from the mugger with relative ease.
“I guess I didn’t know,” you shrug. It wasn’t your business who was a hero and who wasn’t. When you look over at Shoto he’s eyeing you again with a somewhat neutral face. Oso looks at you as if you’ve grown a second head.
“You’re so dense sometimes! He’s only one of the top pro-hero’s in the industry,” Oso scoffs at you good naturedly. You give Shoto a nervous smile, hopefully he wasn’t offended by the fact you didn’t recognize him. In your defense you hardly kept up with heros, only knowing as much as Izuku told you. It was a little odd that he hadn’t mentioned being friends with a hero before this, though you supposed he might have told you while you were spacing out.
“Well thank you for rescuing us, Shoto. It’s late so we should be going,” You grab Oso’s hand tugging her in the direction to her apartment. To your surprise Shoto escorts the two of you there, then begins escorting you home as well. You protested that he must have greater things to do as a hero, and that you lived far away. You even told him that you could handle a mugger or two no problem, but he never relented. He’d just disarm your argument with a small smile and insist he didn’t mind. You found very quickly that his icy exterior was a front of sorts. He was actually very kind, if not a bit blunt and quiet. It made sense that Izuku was friends with him, he was certainly a good listener. For all your conversational skills you eventually ran out of things to talk about on your walk back, the two of you faded into a somewhat comfortable if not a little awkward silence. Eventually you made it to your front door. You stand outside it awkwardly.
“Thank you for walking me back home,” you give him a pleasant smile. He smiley softly back at you, for a moment you're startled by the contrast. His smile was so much more delicate and calming than Izuku’s which was so warm and wide.
“It was not trouble, I’m doing it for my friend.” He tells you. You blink a couple times, startled by the honesty. So he was only doing it because you were friends with Izuku? Not because you were walking home alone on the street. As if sensing your confusion he adds “Because Izuku worries about your safety.” With that he gives you a little nod, and a small goodbye and he disappears down the hallway. You quietly let yourself into the apartment, going to draw yourself a bath. You were going to need it after the day you’d had.
The next day you spent cramped up in your home. You had the news playing in the background of your work. After your run in with Shoto you thought you might try to keep better informed, if only to make sure you didn’t make any more embarrassing mistakes with Izuku or his friends again. From what you had heard the news was rather grim this week. A hero in the top 30 had her partner murdered by the villian who was running around attacking villian’ s on thier day off. The media was blowing up with both condolences of their death, and the debate surrounding heroes in relationships. Should heroes be in relationships with civilians if it puts them in danger? Could heroes be in relationships with other hero’s or would that make workplace matters more complicated? Should heroes even be in relationships at all? The number one hero was set to give a speech in 10 minutes, you were interested to hear a hero’s take on the matter, but when some bozo started spouting nonsense about how it was unethical for hero’s to be in relationships you got so fed up you turned the tv off. You thought of Shoto, it didn’t seem fair for anyone to decide for someone what they could and couldn’t do, especially with matters like love. If Shoto wanted a relationship that was up to him and his partner to weigh the advantages and risks, it certainly wasn’t anyone else’s business.
Speaking of love and relationships, Izuku has been surprisingly quiet as of recently. He hadn’t messaged you to meet up at all, and his messages to you had been quite short. When you had asked him what was wrong he’d brushed you off stating that work had been more chaotic lately. That frustrated you to no end. Sure work was stressful, work was always stressful, and even though you were more flexible than most with his crazy hours you had your limits too. If he wanted to make time for you he most certainly could. Just a 15 minute phone call would appease you. That’s when the anxiety started eating you alive. Maybe he was trying to subtly blow you off, tell you that he wasn’t interested in you. Eventually all your turmoil sent you seeking Oso’s help. She told you to just show up at his apartment to hang out stating ‘if he’s as sweet as you say he is, he won’t be able to turn you away even if he wanted to’. It seemed like a cheap move, but at this rate you’d do anything to talk to him again.
Just like Oso had predicted, Izuku was too nice to turn you away when you showed up to his apartment unannounced with a bag filled with face masks, hair bands, nail polish and some cheap wine. He hadn’t protested much when you told him he needed a self care session because of how stressed he was with work. Was it a little petty? Yes. Did you care? Only a little.
He was quieter than usual, eyes following you around as you got everything settled. His attentive gaze was enough to send butterflies into your stomach. With two wine glasses, a pile of blankets and the tv remote you ushered him onto the living room floor, handing him a pillow to place into his lap. You set the tv on to some random channel, keeping the volume low. You silently hand him a head band, it was a soft pink with a fuzzy bow and white polka dots. He takes it from you, your hands brushing slightly, his eyes never leave yours. You place your own, lilac colored headband on your head, and he follows your lead. You reach into the bag, grabbing out the clay mask and an applicator, trying to give yourself something to do so that the silence didn’t consume you.
“Come closer,” you tell him quietly as you squirt a little bit of the mask onto the applicator. He scoots toward you, leaning forward. You cup his face in your hands. His skin was warm, and smooth. Warmth floods into your system. You lift the applicator, swiping a streak of clay across his cheek. He just stares at you with apple colored eyes. Sour apple eyes, you correct yourself, as his gaze alone picks you apart. You wait for him to say something, anything but he doesn’t. He doesn’t start murmuring about heros, or geek out about the latest support gear releases.
“Izuku, is something wrong?” You ask, searching his face for answers. You swipe more of the mask, across his face, waiting for him to reply. He blinks at you innocently. You give him a pointed look. He finally breaks your gaze.
“I’m just thinking about a lot of things,” he tells you softly. You just hum, circling his eyes in clay. You take your time painting a field of green across his cheek, covering each freckle under its foliage.
“Thinking things like what?” You ask, sweetly, as sweetly as you can muster. “You can tell me, we’re friends right?” Friends. You hated that word. He was your best friend, your childhood friend, but you wanted more. So much more than friendship, you wanted to see him when he came home from work. You wanted to be there next to him in the bleak hours of the morning, when sunlight was just peeking through the windows. You wanted him to hold you as you watched movies, and smile at you when you said something stupid. But you would settle for friends, if it meant keeping him in your life.
“You know the hero’s partner that was killed recently?” He asks you somberly.
“Yeah? What about it?” You look at him pensively, sure you had heard about it on the news, and you felt some manner of sympathy towards them, but it didn’t affect you. They were strangers to you after all. You wondered why he was bringing it up. You knew he cared about heroes, but he couldn’t really expect you to think that he was so distraught over this that he had been ghosting you.
“I’m thinking about things like that,” he tells you. You swipe the final streak of clay across his chin, then study his expression. He was looking at you with fear and worry, searching your face.
“Izuku, although it is heartbreaking, I don’t know how that relates to the fact that you’ve been ignoring me,” You sigh. He gives you a very pensive look and you snap. “I’m sorry if I was embarrassing at your class party, or if I made you feel uncomfortable. I swear I wasn’t trying to make you feel like that, you were just shirtless and it startled me. I promise I won’t do it again, and I’ll reign in my anger at Bakugou. Just please don’t ignore me without saying anything.” You finish, running a hand over your face. There was clearly something he wasn’t telling you. He looks at you pensively this time, his brow furrowed. There was a moment of silence between you.
“Here, give me the applicator.” He holds out his hands, and you pass it to him. You mean to ask, why he had dodged a response, but the thought melts out of your mind as he grabs your face. His hands are warm and calloused. He scoots even closer to you, placing his own legs on either side of yours. When he slides the clay across your skin you jolt, the mask much colder than you anticipate. He doesn’t say anything to you, completely concentrating on the task at hand. You let your gaze wander from his intense eyes, down his neck to his broad shoulders. From your vantage point you can see the various scars that criss cross his hands, disappearing under his shirt sleeves. You wondered how you never noticed them before, though you figured this was your second time seeing him in something other than a sweatshirt, and the first time you were too focused on other places. You wondered if he got them while he was being bullied. Was that why he kept his arms covered around you? Was he ashamed of them? You wondered what had happened in the years you were missing from his life. He gently swipes a thumb under your jaw, before pulling back and setting the applicator down.
“Done,” he smiles at you, soft and sweet. There was something intoxicating about it, about sitting here on the floor with him painting on each other's face masks. It felt intangible, as if the moment was already slipping through your fingers. It was your specialty though, grasping the intangible, you wouldn’t let him slip through your fingers so easily.
“Promise you won’t ignore me anymore?” You ask, softly. He gives you a pensive look before smiling.
“I won’t disappear, you’ll see me around.” He tells you. Having settled that, well settled it as much as you’d get out of the clever man, you stand up.
“Time to wash your mask off,” you tell him, extending your hand to help him up. He grabs it, not letting go on your walk toward the bathroom. He does let go when he opens the top cabinet, grabbing out two clean towels. You watch as his muscles flex and stretch in his arm. He runs one of the towels under water, before wiping his face mask off. You tentatively stand next to him, grabbing your own towel and waiting until he is done with the sink. He is close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating off him. When he’s finished you move to wipe your own face off, but he catches your hands.
“Here let me help,” he murmurs. Izuku grabs your towel while running it under water before bringing it to your face. He towers over you wiping the warm towel across your face. All your nerves set on fire, as you suddenly feel like the temperature in the room was 1,000 degrees. If Izuku notices your blush he doesn’t say anything, calmly working to wipe everything off your face. He leans into you more, smiling at you innocently. You feel every muscle in your body tense as he reaches toward you. Then he’s placing the towel behind you, turning on the water again. He says nothing as he returns the towel to your face wiping away all the remaining streaks of clay. You can’t pick a place to focus on, eventually settling for the ground as you try not to collapse.
“All done.” He steps away from you, eyes running over your body as if analyzing you. You swallow a wad of saliva. There was no way he was testing you, or was there?
“Okay, uh, I’m going to paint my nails in the living room,” you tell him, sliding between his body and the counter toward the door. He lets you pass, but hovers close to you as you make your way back to the living room. You settle yourself on the ground, leaning against his couch. He stands awkwardly off to the side of you as you examine the colors you brought with you.
“Make yourself comfortable or something,” you call out to the giant hovering next to you. “Tonight is about relaxing so just do what you’d normally do to relax.” You smile at him, but he doesn’t smile back. He eventually settles himself on the couch, sitting very close to where you were. He fiddles with the tv remote. You go back to choosing a nail color. You had brought the usual colors with you, variations of pinks and a lilac or two. You finally rifle through picking up a forest green bottle. Although you had never painted your nails green before, you had bought green nail polish the last time you were at the store in passing. You chalked it up to having a certain someone on your mind. As you look at the bottle embarrassment fills you, maybe it was a little cheesy to paint your nails the same color as your crushes eyes. You move to set it back into the bag, and grab a safe color when two legs swing over either side of you.
“Let me see that color,” Izuku asks, leaning over you to grab the bottle from your hands. Your cheeks flame in embarrassment.
“Do you like it?” You ask tentatively. Would he think you're weird for having it? For considering it?
“I like it, you should paint your nails this color,” He tells you, handing the bottle back down to you.
“Okay,” is all you can think to say, and to distract yourself from the erratic beating of your heart you swiftly start applying the first coat. He makes no move to shift away from caning you in. Instead he gets comfortable, grabbing your hands every couple of nails, to check the progress. Eventually you tell him off, citing that you’d mess up and get nail polish everywhere. You can almost feel him pouting behind you. When he resigns himself to leaving your hands alone, he takes to playing with your hair. The sensation of his fingers combing through your scalp sends shivers down your spine. Your brain argues that you should put an end to this treatment. At this rate there was no way you’d get over him. No man would ever be able to compete with Izuku, not after this. Your heart keeps you quiet. It didn’t matter if this would have to end eventually, you’d enjoy the moment -enjoy his fingers scratching against your scalp. And maybe, just maybe you could convince him to fall for you. You’re not quite sure when exactly you had fallen asleep, but when you woke up you were tucked into the blankets of his guest bedroom.
After you orient yourself, stumble groggily out into his living room making your way to the kitchen to drink a glass of water. Another handwritten note is waiting for you. It read ‘I hope you slept well, you seemed tired last night. Hey if it’s okay with you can we have a serious talk? I should have an hour around lunch.’ You feel your heart plummet. Why did it sound like he was trying to break up with you, especially after playing with your hair for an hour. You shakily grab your phone, texting him to meet you at a local park. You hoped with dread pooling in your stomach that maybe he felt the same way you did. Maybe he was just going to confess. Maybe he was embarrassed and that’s why he had been so distant lately. With a heavy heart you gather your things and head to your apartment to change out of your day old clothes.

Sorry if this sounds weird but would you be willing to talk about a more wholesome version of the Izuku is allmight’s son au? It’s just so sad that things would end up that way even though he got the best dad might ever 😭😭
Izuku is All Might’s son au 5+ HCs post
The thing about All Might being Izuku’s biological son is that it removes the Found Family aspect of it for me, and I didn’t just want to rehash everything fluffy about their canon mentor-mentee relationship but in somehow a more familial manner.
In any case, my rule of writing is that the wholesome part of a relationship shines brighter when it is tested by darkness. So, I’ll try to mitigate the downer ending note of the last post:
The problem with Izuku having grown up in an environment that embraces him, as well as the heavy legacy that he stands for, is that Izuku never really got exposed to the inequalities of Hero Society. He hasn’t gotten the “Not all men are equal” epiphany yet. Being recruited by the HPSC gives him the opportunity to do so. Growing up, Izuku has been conditioned with the mindset that HPSC is good because every Pro Hero follows them, and only his father All Might seems to have a problem with the group.
Izuku and All Might had a bitter argument that ends with All Might kneeling on the floor, soaking his son’s shirt with hot tears as he embraces him and sobs. Izuku had never seen his father panic and breakdown like this before. Still, All Might says that it’s too late to back out anyway, and simply asks Izuku to remember a mundane code that will allow All Might to rush over to him and get him out whenever Izuku needs out.
At first, Izuku’s training with HPSC was designed to lower his guard down. They spoil him, they were kind to him. Izuku had been spoiled all his life, so he didn’t realize that gifts this time came with strings. Once, they gifted Izuku his own hero costume. Then, they asked him to disperse a “violent rally” being held by mutant-Quirked people (it was peaceful). Izuku didn’t want to seem ungrateful, so he did so by arresting the leader as instructed. It was a jarring and brutal wake up call when the mutant leader was treated like a villain by the law enforcement, despite the leader having willingly offered himself to Izuku gently clicking handcuffs around his wrists. Izuku tried to speak up in defense, but his HPSC handler steered him away from the cameras, since having All Might’s son declaring support for the mutant-Quirked would be damaging to the image that the HPSC is trying to project.
After the third time this happened, Izuku started to catch on that the HPSC is guilt-tripping him. He started to refuse the gifts being given to him. Prepared for this scenario, the HPSC reveals that they’ve kept hostages around (like the mutant leader) so that Izuku would continue to obey their orders. They’re not repeating their mistake with Nagant. Izuku broke down when he had to level the homes of mutants who were illegally settling at a private property.
They also monitor Izuku’s communication devices. Only then did Izuku realize why his father asked him to make a mundane code. Izuku sent a message: “Please remember to wipe dust off my All Might display, Dad. Thank you 💚”
Not long after, Izuku woke up to the sound of windows breaking. Outside the room provided for him in the HPSC building, a helicopter was waiting for him. His father All Might has a hand out, waiting to catch his son. Inko was the one piloting the helicopter. They’ve also brought back-up to rescue HPSC’s hostages so that there’s nothing to hold Izuku down.

I have too many MHA AU ideas so here
Dadzawa AU: literally just a series of Aizawa parenting his class, probably with guest appearances from the Big 3, Shinsou, and Eri. Background Erasermic with trans!Aizawa. Shinsou was a teenage accident of Aizawa and Oboro's, who Aizawa was forced to give up. Yamada and Aizawa have tried off and on for a second kid for eight years and then suddenly in a matter of two years they get 25 of them (including a newborn that forces Aizawa to take a leave of absence as Eraserhead and teach full time for a while)
Fluff(ier than canon) AU: Erasercloudmic gets together in high school, they still have Shinsou. Oboro doesn't die or go missing but Aizawa and Yamada can't pay for his medical bills *and* support their kid in high school even if they COULD keep it, so they give him up to save Oboro, who as a result never becomes Kurogiri. The three of them stay together, though not without a rough patch, and eventually get married; Oboro is permanently disabled, probably with mobility and vision issues, and Loud Cloud retires. He works as a producer at Mic's radio station. Nothing bad happens to Shimura Tenko; Dadmight Toshinori to the rescue there. He still passes OfA to Midoriya. No Kurogiri and no Shigaraki means no League of Villains; Dabi is a known vigilante rather than a straight up villain. Todoroki Natsuo becomes a detective and tracks Touya down to tell him what's happened since he left. Dabi knocks on Eraserhead and Present Mic's door to ask them for help rescuing his baby brother - "Because you'll stand up to Endeavor. No one else will." Erasercloudmic end up with custody of Shoto, Hitoshi, and Eri.
ABO AU: Same basis as the Fluff AU with Erasercloudmic and Shinsou, and no League of Villains, but omega Aizawa with his two alphas, and their pack including such gems as beta Toshinori, alpha Nemuri, and beta Tensei. Tenya and Aizawa are still pretending they don't know each other well into second year despite the fact that the young alpha has literally napped in Aizawa's nest.
Mutant AU: Everyone's quirk is actually a mutation caused by the x-gene, Marvel canon style. UA has connections with Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and Avengers Academy. Aizawa and Logan get along famously despite that time they met back when Logan was a Villain:tm: and Aizawa was in high school and almost killed him by using Erasure on his extremely poisoned (by metal bones) ass. Hawkeye and Izuku hit it off immediately. Bakugou fucking hates Hawkeye's guts, even more so after Hawkeye just douses him with something that neutralizes his nitroglycerin sweat and ties him up before Bakugou can touch him. Kirishima and Tetsutetsu have new heroes to fanboy over after meeting Hulk, Warpath, and Colossus.

Note
AU where Midoriya has a shark mutation Quirk
Quirk: Shark - he can do anything a shark can: super senses, super speed (while swimming), super bite force, etc. Izuku leans more on the humanoid side of the Mutation Scale, like Asui, rather than a full-on anthro shark. His skin is a dark bluish-green color with a lighter-colored chest and belly. He possesses sharp teeth, gills, a dorsal fin, webbed and clawed fingers, and a tail.
Izuku's skin is made of dermal denticles, or “skin teeth;" he wears skin-covering clothes and gloves so that he doesn't hurt others by accident.
Besides Mutant Quirk discrimination, Izuku also faces Villain Quirk discrimination because sharks have a bad reputation. He's part of a support group for people with Mutant Quirks like Asui and Shoji.
Izuku and Asui bond over the struggles of having Animal Mutation Quirks. He also gets along with Kirishima because they both have sharp teeth.
Besides All Might, Izuku's favorite Hero is Gang Orca due to having a sea animal mutation Quirk and looking like a villain. He also has a kind of instinctual phobia of the hero because orcas/killer whales eat sharks.

My Hero Superman AU; Reign of the Multiversal Supermen by @itsupermanti, Part 8 Superman; Man of Tomorrow (Finale)
Tumblr media
(Artwork from Action Comics Vol 2, #1)
Izuku(as his shocked face is shown): You remember me, right? Izuku “Jon-El” Midoriya, son of Hisashi and Inko, first born son of Superman and Wonder Woman, the Superboy now Superman; Man of Tomorrow…
Izuku(as he and Ochaco are shown staring at another green haired Izuku in a red costume holding a red helmet with a phoenix shaped visor in his hands): And right now, my girlfriend and I are meeting another version of me, who can use MAGIC!!!
Izuku(snapping out of his daze): Sorry about that, you’re not the first doppelgänger we dealt with…
Izuku(holding out his hand and shaking MagiRed’s hand): Izuku Midoriya, the Superman.
Izuku(looking stunned): You’re really Superman?!
Izuku(confused as he pulls his hand back): Yes? I inherited the title from my Dad.
Izuku(eyes sparkling): THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!
Izuku(smiling widely): Wait till I tell my siblings about this! All four of them will freak!
Izuku(turning to Ochaco): And when I tell my girlfriend that her counterpart’s a superhero, she won’t believe it ei-
Izuku(suddenly grabs his head as he remembers what I was doing before he arrived): OH SHOOT OCHACO!!!
Izuku(putting his helmet back on): I LEFT HER AND ERI ALONE!!!
MagiRed(pulling out his cellphone device): I HAVE TO GET BACK TO THEM BEFORE THOSE WOLF-MEN HURT THEM!!!
MagiRed(calling out a spell as the tip of his wand glows): RED SKY HOKI!!! COME CLOSER!!!
Soon a red glyph appears before the red warrior, and a flying broom emerges from it, before turning into a hover-bike of sorts;
Tumblr media
Goku(looking at the vehicle closely): Is it just me, or did the thing transform from a magic broom?
Thor(placing Mjolnir on his belt): Nay, it is as you saw…
Goku(still looking at the bike as MagiRed hops on): Good to know…
MagiRed(waving at everyone as his Sky Hoki starts hovering in the air): It’s been nice meeting you all, hope we have a chance to see each other again!
MagiRed then takes off towards the portal he came from, just as Steel and the others came back from the Earths they traveled to, managing to catch a small glimpse of MagiRed as he flew into his portal, allowing Iida to slow down and come to a stop.
Mei(taking of her helmet): Who was that?
Ochaco(shrugging her shoulders): We only got his title, apparently he goes by “MagiRed”.
Izuku: He was an alternate version of me who showed up to help while we were gone.
Bubbles(speaking up excitedly): Yeah, he was all like…
Bubbles(mimicking his transformation pose): “MAGIC HENSHIN”!!!
Buttercup(joining in as she mimes him swinging his sword): Then he was all “MAGI SWORD”!!!
Buttercup(throwing punches): Then he went “MAGIPUNCH!!!” and sent all those mutants flying with each punch!
Buttercup+Blossom(both crossing their arms over their chest just like MagiRed did as he charged at Shigiraki): Then he went “RED FIRE!!!” and turned into a phoenix!
Buttercup(as she held up her hand and snapped): He even snapped his fingers just before that glowing guy EXPLODED from the attack!
Blossom(as her sisters continue talking about the warrior): He appeared to use some kind of fire magic, he even summoned a broom that turned into a hover-bike before you all came back and headed back to his Earth through the portal he came in.
Bakugo(grumbling to himself): He wasn’t THAT impressive…I could’ve done the same…
Aoyama(smirking as the Eradicator with his mask off): Then why didn’t you?
Aoyama(unfazed as Bakugo hits him with an explosion): That’s what I thought.
Tensei(amused): A wizard on a hoverbike, now that’s something you don’t see everyday!
Clark: Now that that’s out of the way, we should get to locating our Earths.
Tensei(helping his brother get off the treadmill): Hold on, I can help.
Once Tenya was being supported by some of his classmates, Tensei then zipped over to the treadmill and started running.
Mei(as Tensei continues to pick up speed): This baby should help us gaze into other earths to help find your universes before we open portals to them.
Mei(as a rift appears before them, allowing them to gaze into another universe): Like so!
The multiversal “window” opens up to show a city plaza in Tokyo, Japan at noon.
All seems peaceful at first, only for people to be shown running away in fright from what appears to be bipedal Wolf-men with bone plated armor and bone masks with red markings.
Sentry(looking at the monsters in confusion): What the hell are those?
Kirishima(worried): Are those Nomus?
Toshi(looking at them closely): They’re nothing like the Nomus…
Suddenly, some familiar figures are shown running in the crowd. A young brunette in a school uniform holding a white haired child dressed in a robe with dragon symbols and a horn on her forehead.
Eri(eyes widening): It’s me and mama!
Izuku(turning to Mei): Can you open a portal? They need help!
Mei(turning to the man of tomorrow): It’ll take a-
Mei(as MagiRed comes flying out of a portal that appeared above the alternate Ochaco and Eri): -while…
Hisashi(realizing why the red warrior appeared as he jumps off his vehicle and attacking the monsters chasing Ochaco and Eri’s counterparts): This must be his Earth!
Inko(curious): Why don’t we watch what happens for a bit? See what he can really do with his magic?
Eraserhead(scoffing): That “magic” was probably just some kind of “fire glyph” quirk.
Mic(turning to him with a deadpan expression): We just some him transform into the suit of his…
Midnight(deadpan as well): Not to mention, he summoned a broomstick that turned into a hover-bike…
Nezu(smirking from Eraserhead’s shoulder while motioning towards Dr Fate, Black Adam, Inko and Denki): And many here draw their powers from divine sources of magic.
Nighteye(crossing his arms in annoyance): I doubt he’ll can be that impres-
Kamui(cutting him off): He just took down all those wolf-men while you were talking.
Nighteye(turning to see that it was indeed the case): WHAT?!?!?!
On Earth-“Sentai”;
MagiRed(running towards Ochaco and Eri as the other civilians manage to escape, many of the wolf-men laying on the ground around them): OCHACO!!! ERI!!!
Izuku(as his body glows and his suit vanishes as he hugs the two tightly): Are you both alright?!
Ochaco(hugging her boyfriend back): We’re fine…
Ochaco(moving back and smacking her boyfriend over the head): WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THAT YOU WERE A MAGIRANGER?!?!?!
Back on Earth-54;
Everyone(confused): Magiranger?
On the other Earth;
Izuku(rubbing his head): It happened recently!
Izuku(looking at Ochaco): I was about to tell you, then my magic subconsciously reacted with a wish you had…
Izuku(gesturing to the curious Eri in Ochaco’s arms, looking at the two of them): And created Eri as my familiar.
Izuku(throwing his hands up): Then that portal opened up and I heard a cry for help, and ended up on an Earth where we’re superheroes, and I’m SUPERMAN!!!
Izuku(rubbing his neck sheepishly): Sorry about that…
Ochaco(Earth-54): What does he mean Eri is his familiar?
Izuku(looking at his girlfriend): Any idea what you wished for that resulted in Eri?
Ochaco(blushing): Well…
Eri(speaking up from Ochaco’s arms): Why is mama’s face red?
Izuku: And why is she calling us her parents?
Ochaco(looking down in embarrassment): I may have been thinking about how I’d like to see have our children might look like in the future!
Ochaco(looking her boyfriend in the eyes as they both blush): That may be why…
Izuku(blushing): Mina will have a field day when she finds out she’s technically an aunt…
Mina(Earth-54): We’re still siblings on this Earth, nice!
Eri(getting excited): I have an aunty?
Izuku(nodding): You have two aunties and two uncles.
Midoriya siblings(Earth-54): WE HAVE TWO MORE SIBLINGS?!?!?!
Hisashi+Inko(Earth-54): WE HAVE FIVE KIDS?!?!?!
Izuku(looking at the still blushing Ochaco): I know this is really sudden, but we technically are her “parents”, in a sense…Are you okay?
Ochaco(recovering from her daze): Yeah…
Ochaco(turning to her boyfriend as she starts smirking): But you’re going to be the one to explain what happened to our parents.
Izuku(taken aback as he starts chuckling): Really?
Ochaco(playfully pouting as she starts jabbing him in the chest with her finger): Hey, you’re the one responsible for us “birthing” her, so YOU BETTER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY MISTER!!!
Everyone(Earth-54 minus Izuku and Ochaco): *laughing at the couple*
???: IZUKU!!!
The couple and their “daughter” turn towards the familiar voices and see Denki, Mina, Momo and Mirio running towards them, stepping on some of the monsters as they do.
Denki(wearing a yellow jacket similar to Izuku’s, with a thunderbird emblem): We saw what happened on the news!
Mina(Caucasian with pink hair and normal green eyes, wearing a pink jacket with a butterfly emblem): What happened?!
Momo(two years older then them, wearing a blue jacket with a mermaid tail emblem, proceeding to hug Izuku tightly): DON’T SCARE YOUR OLDER SISTER LIKE THAT LITTLE BROTHER!!!
Mirio(four years older then them, wearing a green jacket with a bull emblem, trying to get Momo to let Izuku go): SIS, YOU’RE HUGGING HIM TOO TIGHTLY!!!
Everyone(Earth-54): MOMO AND MIRIO ARE THE OTHER TWO SIBLINGS?!?!?!
Momo(glaring at her older brother): I DON’T CARE, HE HAD ME WORRIED SICK!!!
Denki+Mina(freaking out as Eri tries to get her “father” out of the embrace): NEE-CHAN, HE’S TURNING BLUE!!!
Momo(letting her younger brother go with a blush): Sorry…
Hisashi(Earth-54, thinking): She definitely Inko’s daughter on that Earth…
Mina(noticing Eri franticly checking in her father): Oh!
Mina(kneeling down next to Eri): And who’s this little cutie?
Eri(moving to hide behind Ochaco’s leg, her head shyly poking out): I’m Eri…
Everyone(Earth-54): Awww…
Denki(crunching down by his sister): Were Izuku and Ochaco helping you find your parents?
Eri(tugging on Ochaco’s school jacket): This is Mama!
Eri(pointing at Izuku as he gets back up): And he’s papa!
Denki+Mina+Momo+Mirio(smiling with their eyes closed, only for all the color on them to seemingly vanish): …
Tumblr media
Izuku and Ochaco start sweating nervously while waiting to see how his siblings react to this bombshell.
Denki+Mina+Momo+Mirio(regaining color as their eyes open in shock): EEEEHHHH!!!
Denki+Mina(clutching their heads): WE HAVE A NIECE?!?!?!
Mirio(freaking out): I’M AN UNCLE?!?!?!
Momo(sternly turning to Izuku and Ochaco): What happened?
Izuku(nervously): Don’t get ma-
Momo(repeating herself with more force behind her words): What.Happened?
Midoriya Siblings(Earth-54, thinking): She’s definitely our older sister…
Inko(Earth-54, thinking with a smirk): She’s definitely my kid…
Haruto(Earth-54, amused): She’s like our Momo, but with Inko’s fierce nature.
Izuku(explaining): She’s my familiar!
Momo(briefly glancing at Ochaco before turning back to her brother): YOU TOLD HER?!?!?!
Izuku(hands up in surrender): SHE’S MY GIRLFRIEND!!!
Eri(walking up and pulling on Momo’s jacket): Please don’t be mad at Mama and Papa!
Momo immediately stops her scolding as she turns to the horned child with tears in her eyes and immediately feels as if she was punched in the gut.
Momo(thinking to herself): KAWAI!!!
Mirio(seeing their sister hugging her niece while apologizing): So~…
Mirio(turning to his younger brother): How are you going to explain this to Mom and Dad?
Izuku(raising a brow): You mean the masters of magic who taught us everything we know?
Izuku(as his image is shown in a crystal ball): They probably know already.
Inko(wearing a fancy white cloak with snowflakes on it, a smirk on her face): Of course he was the one who realized first.
Hisashi(wearing black robes with a red and black cloak with flames and wolves on it): He is the prodigy amongst his siblings, especially if he subconsciously conjured up a familiar.
Hisashi+Inko(Earth-54): So we’re mages on this Earth.
Dr Fate(Earth-54): And rather high ranking ones if your appearances are anything to go by.
Inko(turning to her husband): We’re going to spoil her, aren’t we?
Hisashi(nodding his head): Oh absolutely, I’m going to earn the title of “Best Grandpa”!
Everyone(Earth-54): *sweatdrop*
Before any more could be said, more of the monsters from before show up once more, this time lead by a young man and woman with pale white skin and glowing veins upon their faces.
Amongst this second wave of monsters, some are bear themed and others boar themed.
The young man steps up and addresses them.
Man: Apologies for all this ruckus…
Man(giving a formal bow as he introduces himself): I am the royal Boarbatusk Grimm Prince, Tusker.
Tusker(motioning to the woman besides him): And this is my sister, Baroness, the Ursa Princess.
Mirio(Earth-54, chuckling): “BEAR-oness”, because she’s a bear! HAH!
Mirio(chuckling): “BEAR-oness”, really?
Baroness(rolling her eyes with a scoff before pointing at Eri, who is still in her Aunt Momo’s arms): That child is a great source of magic.
Baroness(holding her hand before her face): Hand her over to us…
Baroness(clenching her fist): Or be destroyed!
Momo(holding Eri closely): Over our dead bodies!
Tusker(lips curling into a grin): That’s the plan, my dear.
Izuku(grabbing Eri from his sister and handing her to Ochaco): Keep an eye on her.
Izuku(pulling out his phone device from before as his siblings pull out their own): We were trained for this our whole lives…
Izuku(pressing 1-0-7 into the phone’s keypad): Holy saints! Grant us the power of magic!
Midoriya Siblings(crossing their right hands with the phones in front of their left arms): Maho Henshin!
Midoriya Siblings(swinging his arms around before pointing the red gem up to the sky): Maagi, Magi, Magiiro!
Maagi, Magi, Magiiro!
The siblings assume various stances as glyphs of their colors appear above them as their suits appear upon their bodies.
Tumblr media
Tusker(eyes wide): They’re like the Gingaman!
Everyone(Earth-54): Gingaman?
MagiRed(striking a pose as flames appear around him): The Burning Fire Element! The Red Mage, MagiRed!
MagiYellow(striking a pose as lightning course around him): The Galloping Thunder Element! The Yellow Mage, MagiYellow!
MagiPink(striking a pose as wind blows around her): The Blowing Wind Element! The Pink Mage, MagiPink!
MagiBlue(posing as water swirls around her): The Shaking Water Element! The Blue Mage, MagiBlue!
MagiGreen(posing as trees pop up behind him): The Howling Earth Element! The Green Mage, MagiGreen!
Magiranger: Magical Family!
MagiRed: Mahou Sentai…
Magiranger(striking their team pose): MAGIRANGER, MYSTIC!!!
Tumblr media
Eraserhead(Earth-54, arms crossed): Was that really necessary?
Baroness(waving her hands at them): Get them!
The Magiranger begin fighting off the now named Grimm with ease.
MagiRed swings his sword, MagiYellow takes aim with his crossbow, MagiGreen swings his axe, and MagiPink and MagiBlue use their wands to cast elemental attacks.
Eri(turning to Ochaco in confusion): What happened to Papa?
Ochaco(smiling as she watches her boyfriend and his siblings fight): They became the 29th Super Sentai team!
Everyone(Earth-54): “Super Sentai”?
Ochaco(as Izuku engages the Grimm prince and princess): The “Mahou Sentai, Magiranger”!
Tusker(being knocked back alongside his sister by Izuku): Why I ought ta-
Baroness(grabbing her brother’s arm): Let it go “Squeals”…
Baroness(standing up as he gathers energy in her hand): We’ll deal with you next time…
MagiRed(realizing what the energy in her hand is): You can use magic too?!
Baroness(as she waves her hand, encasing her and brother as well as their grunts in her magic, causing them all to vanish): Till next time, Magiranger!
Hisashi(turning to his wife): Those were the Grimm that those new Gingaman fought on the news the other day.
Inko(nodding her head as the Magiranger are seen leaving the area with Ochaco and Eri): It seems we’ll have to step up their training.
Inko(as a young blond man in a red jacket comes running onto the scene): We have to prepare them for whatever comes next…
Bakugo(Earth-54, annoyed): And who’s this guy?!
Jaune(looking around): They’re gone…
Jaune(turning around to show the lion symbol on his back with the words “Arc 5”on his back): Wonder what they were after this time?
Jaune(as a few stragglers get back up): Seems they left a few of you behind…
Jaune(pulling out a silver bracelet): I’ll have to finish you all off.
Jaune(turning the dial on his bracelet to red and pressing the silver button): Ginga Tensei!
The multiversal window cuts off as the blond man glows red, ending their view of that world.
Nezu(paw in his chin with a smirk): I believe their heroic journey is just about to begin…
Mei(adjusting the controls on the treadmill): Hold on, let’s try this again…
The window opens up once more, showing a man in a red and gold suit of armor flying through the city skyline in the afternoon.
Tumblr media
Thor(recognizing the armor): That’s Stark’s Ironman armor!
Thor(turning to Hyperion and Sentry): This must be our Earth!
Hyperion(facing the screen): I doubt that pal…
Thor(confused): Why?
Hyperion(pointing at the screen): That’s why.
The Ironman on screen is shown flying down at high speeds to attack a man in tuxedo suit and a bulky helmet holding another Thor by the neck, with a giant man in a red and black costume with a silver helmet laying unconscious on the ground, a woman wearing another armor in purple and silver tries to knock the man back as an alternate All Might is held in the man’s other hand.
Toshi(as Ironman clocks the man across the face at full speed, knocking him into a building as he releases the two men in his grasp): THAT’S ALL FOR ONE!!!
Ironman(turning towards the others as his faceplate opens up to reveal Hisashi as the one under the armor): You guys good?
All Might(getting back up with a grunt): Yeah.
Thor(calling Mjolnir towards him): Thank you for the assistance.
Rescue(faceplate opening up to reveal Inko as she approaches the giant man): C‘mon Hank, you have to get up!
The giant wakes up and shrinks back down as his helmet opens up to reveal a man with greying hair and a goatee.
Ant-man(getting up as some bones pop): I’m too old for this…
All Might: Where’s Spider-Man?
Spider-Man(in Izuku’s voice over their comm links): Me and Uravity are on our way Toshi!
Tumblr media
Spider-Man(swinging through the city with Ochaco following him closely, both of them much older): We were just making sure that Eri her classmates were alright at the UA dorms!
Izuku(Earth-54, thinking to himself as his counterpart is shown): It looks like we’re older on this Earth.
Sentry: I think this Earth is a combination of ours and yours.
Class 1-A is shown gathered in the living room, all appearing the same, except for a young woman coming from up the stairs in a costume similar to Izuku’s under a jacket with silver bracelets on her wrists.
Iida(turning to the new person): Midoriya, what do you think you’re doing?!
Everyone(Earth-54): Midoriya?
The young woman removes her mask to reveal an older Eri, with green hair that fades into white tips, and eyes as brown as Ochaco’s own.
Midoriya Family+Ochaco(Earth-54, shocked): ERI?!?!?!
Eri(turning to Iida): The city’s in chaos right now!
Eri(heading for the door): People need help, and I’m going to give it to them!
Iida(grabbing her arm): I can’t let you do this!
Eri(pulling her hand out Iida’s grasp): That’s not up to you!
Eri(pointing her thumb at herself): Ever since I was born, my parents taught one lesson that matters more then whatever we were told here at UA!
Eri(Earth-54, shocked): I’m their actual daughter…
Eri(jabbing a finger into Iida’s chest): “With Great Power, There Must ALWAYS Come Great Responsibility”!
Eri(heading for the door): We have the power to be helping others right now.
Iida(refuting): But we were told-
Eri(turning to him): I DON’T CARE WHAT THEY TOLD US!!!
Eri(turning back around): Just know that the blood that might spill will be on your hands due to your hesitance to help…
The alternate Eri places her mask back on and removes her jacket as she easily jumps over the UA barrier and swings through the city, helping civilians that were trapped under rubble get to safety, with many cheering her own as she swings across the city to help as many people as she can.
Little girl(smiling as Eri swings over head): GO SPIDER-GIRL!!!
Spider-Girl(helping an elderly man in sunglasses get to a paramedic): Everything will be okay sir, the Avengers will have this taken care of soon.
Old Man(placing a hand on Eri’s shoulders): Thank you.
Spider-Girl(turning to him confused): I’m just doing what I can.
Old Man(shaking his head): Not for that…For proving that your parents raised you right, I’m glad that the future is in safe hands with someone like you.
Old Man(as his smiling reflection is shown in the lenses of Spider-Girl’s mask): Now, go True Believer…
Old Man(voiceover as Eri is shown lifting up some rubble to help a group trapped underneath): Be Greater…
Old Man(as Izuku is shown supporting a collapsing building as other pros help get the civilians out as a green behemoth of a man delivers staggering blows that force All for One to his knees!) Be yourself!
Old Man(as Eri is shown mid flip as the sun starts setting behind her): EXCELSIOR!!!
Tumblr media
Thor(smiling as he moves to place a hand on Izuku and Eri’s shoulders): Ay, you both should have great pride for your counterparts!
Thor(elaborating): For they are connected by the Great Web to the grand legacy of a great young man I and many others are proud to call a friend, ally and verily an Avenger!
Nighteye(scoffing): Lose cannon is more like it!
The scene then cuts to a big spider web, placing various scenes of similarly dressed individuals performing heroic deeds, as a red-haired woman in a red coat and sunglasses focuses on the strand showing Eri’s actions.
Madame Web(seemingly talking to herself): Some, see self doubt as an invitation to become greater…
Madame Web(as Eri continues to save others): This is yours, and you have accepted it.
Madame Web(smiling as she continues to prove that she is her parents’ daughter): Let’s see how great you’ll end up becoming young spider.
Madame Web(turning towards the viewers on Earth-54, while raising a finger to her lips): No spoilers now!
Eraserhead(stunned as the woman seemed to address them): WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!
Madame Web(smirking): The Great Web’s reach is spread across all of space and time, allowing me to gaze into ALL possibilities and influence certain events to achieve a more desirable outcome.
Nighteye(shocked): Impossible!
Nighteye(getting angry): The future CANNOT be changed! All my visions have come true!
Madame Web(turning to the Foresight user with a smirk): Then you are simply blind, and have only seen what you’ve wanted to see.
Madame Web(ignoring the angry pro as she turns towards the Teen Titans): Have faith young heroes!
Madame Web(as the transmission starts cutting out): You’ll all do great!
Mei(checks the controls for the Treadmill as many new coordinates appear): We have the coordinates for all the Earths!
Thor(chuckling): It appears that the wise Madame Web can do a great many things, no matter what Earth she is from!
A little while later;
All the portals have been opened and all the Supermen had been sent back to their own Earths.
Clark(the last one to leave): You’re going to do a great job kid.
Izuku(shaking the man’s hand): Thanks! Good luck with your own son.
Clark(chuckling): Something tells me I’m going to need it.
Soon the veteran hero leaves through the last portal back to his own Earth, with the portal closing behind him.
A few days later;
Superman(voiceover as he is shown flying across the Musutafu skyline): This as been quite an adventure we’ve been on…
Superman(as a bruised and powerless Homelander is seen imprisoned on his Earth): We dealt with demons in human skin…
Superman(as Brightburn and Paragon are shown on their own Earths): Freed those who were unwilling puppets to others plans…
Superman(as the friendly Superman are shown flying across their own Earths): Made some new friends…
Superman(as Zoom and Shigiraki are shown): As well as dealt with some enemies, new and old…
Superman(as he flies down and starts helping people caught up in a villain fight): But we came out of it stronger…
Superman(as the Titans are shown helping others across the city): We realizes just how important the legacies we inherited really are.
Superman(as the camera zooms in on the black symbol on his cape): No matter what, we will be here to help lead others to a better tomorrow…
Superman(as the camera fades out): Always…
We then cut to the Cyborg Superman in an isolated room, communicating with an unknown individual.
Cyborg SM(kneeling on the floor): They suspect nothing my lord…
Cyborg SM(looking up at a towering figure enshrouded in darkness with glowing eyes sitting upon a throne): Soon, your invasion will be at hand…
The figure stands up from his throne and moves into the light to reveal their face.
Tumblr media
Darkseid: And what of this so called, “League of Villains”?
Cyborg SM(chuckling darkly): They are NOTHING to your power my master…Especially not their leader.
Darkseid(grinning darkly): Excellent…
Darkseid(sitting back upon his throne): Soon, I mount the Kryptonian’s skull upon my throne, along with the rest of his family…
Darkseid: Continue to observe and maintain your cover.
Cyborg SM(bowing his head): Of course my lord.
The transmission cuts off, only for the Cyborg to pick up a noise and uses his powers to pinpoint the source and in the blink of an eye, he is holding a Meta-Liberation Front member by the neck.
MLF Member: You.Traitor!
Cyborg SM(burning the person to ash with his heat vision while grinning, an omega symbol visible in his cybernetic eyes): All hail Darkseid.

Watching an analysis on MHA
Person made a good point All-Might telling Midoriya to be a cop isn't insulting
One of All-Might's CLOSEST ALLIES is a police officer
Midoriya not having a quirk is a huge detriment (main argument against that is Aizawa however while his quirk doesn't work against 1 of the 3 types of quirks it is effective against the most common type and it's obvious when someone's a mutant type)
His analysis would be amazing for a police officer he was being helpful he was not suited for Heroism pre-quirk and there were occupations he was more suited for where you aren't allowed to use a quirk (I think idr if that's fanon also most cops that come to memory are mutants or have a quirk that can't be turned off so there's still a disadvantage there)
First I'm gonna give an obligatory acab and in universe Heroes are basically cops but also this is fiction and fantasy.
Anyway!
Honestly the only cop I know of in Canon is Detective Tsukauchi who does not have a Canon Quirk. Fandom gives him a lie detector Quirk which I believe is actually his sister's Quirk iirc, but we don't know if Tsukauchi has one himself yet as he hasn't displayed one.
And like.
On one hand, I do think there's more precedent for potentially Quirkless Heroes than just Aizawa. There are a chunk of heroes and other students whose Quirks are non-combative and would have to rely on hand-to-hand combat, weapons, or other sorts of support items in a fight. These Heroes do have their other niches like stealth, inteligence gathering, rescue abilities, battle strategy, etc. But overall, while someone's Quirk might help them in one or two categories, they have to rely on their own skill in other categories.
So like. Put Bakugo vs. Hagakure. If this was a combat challenge, Bakugo wins easily with his Quirk. Hagakure might be able to build up strength, skill, and take advantage of her invisibility to put up a good fight, but Bakugo can kinda just "seeing you doesn't matter if I hit everything!". If we're doing a stealth challenge, Hagakure has a hell of an advantage and can just quietly waltz past any security. Bakugo can do stealth, but he would have to be careful and slower and not use his Quirk at all.
So I do 100% think that someone without a Quirk would be on equal ground with other Heroes. They would just have to work hard in all of the above categories instead of just some of them.
That said!
I don't blame All Might for saying that a Quirkless person couldn't be a Hero. Because while I think he knows the above, he is also aware of society and the system as a whole. There are biases and technicalities and a lot of nonsense that would stop any Quirkless person who tried to become a Hero. Also add in his own experiences from before he got OfA where he was Quirkless and probably knew a lot of that stuff was already building back then and is probably worse now that being Quirkless is even rarer than it was when he was a kid....
And yeah All Might does give a good alternative! He says "you can't be one of the Heroes, but you can still help people'. Because he knows that like. The core of being a Hero is to help people! That's what it's all about! And yeah it can get kinda drowned in the fame and celebrity status and all that but that's the point! He says "if you truly want to help people, then do it in ways that are accessible to you".
And like. To also be fair, All Might has no idea what Izuku is like. Is this kid a genuine person who wants to help people and understands what being a Hero truly is? Or is he just another fan who wants the fame and glory of being a "Hero" without really caring about the people? Best to give him decent advice for how to help if that's what he really wants.

So i will try on combining all...so lets what the future has in stored.
----------------------------------------------------
Prologue Chapter:  The truth behind Quirks
what are Quirks? Quirks or super abilities are mysterious phenomena that cause people around the globe to have these special powers. The first incident was in Qing Qing city, an extraordinary baby was born that radiant light then after that reports of people with abilities started to show up.
Tumblr media
No one knew what caused it, some people say that it was their own damn government's fault for doing secret experiments. Other people say it was spread from a previously unknown virus carried by mice.
However, those true theories aren’t true and it was spread false information by a few trusted people working for the government so it won’t cause a stir and mayhem among people around the world. The real cause of these supernatural abilities or quirks was a secret war between the mutants and the race of Inhuman.
From what we gather in some reports, Mutants were humans born with the X-Gene and it was a secret population of two hundred who wanted a normal life. Inhumans were humans that were kidnapped and experimented on by aliens called kree thus becoming their own race.
A few reports from a diary on how the war started between these two special different superhumans were destroyed but from what we gather, the secret war was deadly and many died from the war. Mutants left for the war, leaving their family behind, One example from the side of the mutants, is the luminescent baby, born from a human mother who was secretly married to a mutant man.
Tumblr media
The ones that unexpectedly have these powers all over the world were caused by a gas called terrigent Mist. We don’t know it yet since the reports were destroyed.
Since these secrets are locked up and confidential for the good of the world to never be thrown out. Before long, supernatural abilities became normal and dreams become reality. This damn world became a superhuman society with only 80% of the population with uncanny ability.
People who used their powers for good or evil. Streets with a stir with mayhem and confusion A profession of Age of Heroes and villains are born, The gods and aliens are known unexpectedly shown like the comic books from a long time ago.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What about the 20% of the population with the people with no quirk, you may ask. Well people say since some of them are being mistreated, abandoned, and discriminated against, they commit suicide, ran away for prostitution, or be experimented on.
That may be of them true, however, they were given a choice to join to become an agent of the strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division aka SHIELD. A special extra-governmental counter-terrorism and intelligence agency tasked with maintaining both national and global security or any possible threat from our plant.
Tumblr media
A choice to become to change their life and change their special story to their own hero. My name is Nick Fury, i am not only the director of shield, but I am also the founder of the Avengers and Shield Academy

Ask Game: Shortly after his Quirkless diagnosis, Inko and Izuku moved to the USA along with Hisashi for work. While there, Izuku befriended Pony Tsunotori, and later the two of them chose to move to Japan and attend UA.
In this AU, Hisashi is fucking loaded. I don't know what he does for a living but their family is well off. So well off that it was completely nothing for Izuku and Inko to move continents.
This is the AU that comes closest to Midoriya being Batman. I don't mean that in the Batfam way, I mean that in that he has the money to learn a wide variety of martial arts and detective skills growing up and having access to Support Gear.
Pony, being half Japanese, was the first person to reach out to him when he transferred to her school and they quickly became thick as thieves. Absolute besties.
Due to the differences in years between American schools and Japanese schools, they both moved back to Japan for their third year in Junior High in order to make sure they're all set up for UA. They have no way of knowing that this puts them in Mustafa right in time for a certain Sludge Villain to attack.
Pony saves Midoriya from the Villain and is offered One For All, which she easily accepts. Midoriya is her confidant. OFA makes her tail longer, give her fur and a snout kind of like Cow Lady, and lets her change the size and shape of her horns when they regrow between shots. It goes without saying that her horns are stronger and she can control more of them. Also, as per my headcanon of Mutant-Quirk and OFA, she's jacked.
+1. This also means that they're in opposite classes from canon which is kind of funny to me

Thinking about this and while I saw a ficwriter's comment about how Shig doesnt seem to be a person who would help you if you are in trouble (I agree) I have to ask....why is he like that?
Doyist idea here: why Hori made him so....dimensional? When at the same time he could have been more.
His entire cause is childish and so stupid. He wants destruction and at the same has no plan or drive to reach said generic goal.
But you know what? Shig showing some decency would have improve the story. It could add a tragedy here. "Even among all this...Shig still has a good heart "
On the other hand, Shig is so underveloped(but he has abs😏) you can use any hc here....
Hi @mikeellee 👋,
Shig has a lot of untapped potential. We have covered before how I would handled Kotaro differently. Making him a troubled but good dad to Tenko rather than an abusive one.
Also having Shig be so childish and keeping his original goal of "destruction of everything" - only hurts his character. Hori I think did this to stop him being too sympathetic. But Shig is meant to be more than the immature character we saw trying to be a serious villain at the start of the series.
Part of Shig's backstory was the pain of being looked over while he was suffering so why not -
Have Shig try to recruit Izuku (instead of Bakugou) whose suffering being bullied by Bakugou was overlooked by both Aldera and UA?
Bond with Spinner/show him support for being an outcast due to being a mutant as well as the gaming bonding?
Develop the bond with Twice? It's shown he treated him kindly even when Twice messes up. Explore that. Develop that.
Have Shig hate AM specifically for the way Nana favoured AM over his Dad and have AFO egg that hatred on.
TLDR - Logically Shigaraki should be one of the first willing to help someone suffering when he sees it. Just as little Tenko did. Since he wouldn't want people to be looked over like he was - this would set up a clear way to redeem him and highlight the tragedy in his character. But Hori doesn't write this for some reason.

So Shoji and Koda finally get focus! Love it! But there are still some who need focus. Yuga, Ojiro, Sato, Sero, Shinso, Toru, Denki, and Momo. Tsu, Eijiro, Tenya, and Mina could possibly get moments as well. I also want to see moments for Aizawa, Nezu, and All Might. What are your thoughts on this?
How do you think things have been going in the final arc so far, story wise? We've been getting focus on characters like Shoji and Koda and the mutant stuff. Do you think any other characters going to get any attention soon?
For the sake of this, I’m focusing more on the main plot, the current arc, and the hero side of things. There are some issue I’d like to talk about, like pacing, and characters I want to focus on, like the Shuketsu students, but those are better served in their own meta.
Tumblr media
If we're talking structure, I'm mixed. I think that starting with the Dabi fight was a good idea. It got the right amount of time and attention it needed. However, I believe Hori made the wrong move by putting so much focus on the fight with Tomura and All For One at the beginning. I understand these are important, but it feels like we're getting all of the big fights in the first few chapters. It makes the arc feel front-loaded with a lot of the major players. I've been seeing a few of the fans saying the stuff with Shoji is filler or is boring. I strongly disagree since I do like Shoji and I want to see him getting focus. But cutting to this after everything else that's been happening does feel like a jarring change, especially with Izuku really starting to fight All For One. Obviously, a lot of those conflicts have reached a midpoint, like Izuku coming to the fight, Dabi coming back into fray, and All For One getting his old body back. A lot of these are good stopping points, and I'm glad we're glad that we're getting other perspectives. While I am someone who hasn't been bothered by the lack of focus on some of the students, as I think that most of the students get an appropriate amount of focus, I do think that a large war like this is a good opportunity to give them some spotlight.
As for who is going to get more focus going forward, I can make some guesses. I do think the students are going to get attention, but it won't be evenly divided. For example, yes, it's nice that Shoji and Koda are getting focus, but you can clearly tell that Shoji is getting way more focus of the two thus far. I feel like characters like Sato, Ojiro, and kind of Sero are going to get more pushed to the side since they've had little presence in the story thus far. Even their preview during Chapter 353 was short-lived. I think that certain characters may well be more supportive of other characters, like Tenya has been for Shoto and Tsuyu has been for Uraraka in their plots. It's also hard to account for some of the characters. Nezu, Toru, and Shinso have been missing since the new arc started. While I'm sure that Horikoshi has something planned, it's hard to say what it is without knowing where they are. All Might isn't even on the board right now. I definitely think that Aoyama is going to get some focus later on. He's on his own with Fat Gum against a high-ranking assassin and needs to finish up his story line. Mina and Kirishima are clearly the focus of the fight at Gigantomachia. And while they haven't gotten as much attention, mostly supporting Shoto and Ochako, I do hope that Tenya and Tsuyu get some attention given how prominent they were before.

Another submission from a fan/lurker. Thank you so much 😊
Them:
Hey, before I begin, you should look into your blog. People who don't have accounts on Tumblr are unable to ask or submit to you properly (I added submit to the address to be able to gain access to the thing). I heard that this seems to be Tumblr messing with certain blogs, but it might be that you have the anon feature turned off, so I don't know.
Anyway, you got a good selection on the four characters that you feel should be focus on if Bakugou was out of the picture (also, tagging these as Bgame would help finding these in this blog better). Mezou: I also want more focus on Mezou, it is just unfair how criminally underdeveloped he is. Like you said, it would be wonderful to get a good look at the racism that mutants face in the world through this character. Also, it would be an equally wonderful moment to see him bond with Midoryia. Mirio: I choose Mirio because after losing his quirk, it would have been an interesting thing to see a former quirk user being thrust into the quirkless side of the world. Not only would it be nice to get a peek of the quirkless discrimination, but seeing a quirk user like Mirio getting hit with the reality of it all. Everyone treating him like fragile glass, the habits he use to have now being a painful reminder of his situation, and the helplessness that would come from being quirkless. It would have also been interesting to have a call back to the second episode: Mirio managing to save a civilian, but is chatised by the heroes for putting himself in harms way cause he's quirkless. Seriously, this would have strengthen the bond between Mirio and Midoriya some in not only helping Izuku's self esteem but help Mirio see other ways to achieve his hero dream of saving lives. Meta Liberation Army: I know the majority don't care about them(and it kinda breaks the 4 character rule here), but there was a lot of untapped potiential dealing with this organization. Heck, the plot established that MLA is literally one of the oldest organizations/cults in the world. That alone is a lot of material to explore the history of BNHA. A better insight of how the world treated quirk users in the past, a closer look into support items and their importance to heros, and the political side of BNHA. Each general literally holds a position of the various aspects that of the world. Even looking into each of their backstories would give a unique insight, and developed these villains more. Also, Rikiya(Re-Destro) was just BEGGING to be explored. Seriously, it would have been nice to look into how the organization conditioned him into the mentality that he has, how he managed to convince others into his cause outside of those already indocterated. That, and it would be interesting to see Rikiya and Toshinori meet, along with Rikiya meeting Midoriya. The verbal clash from the different opinions on the "quirks should not be restricted" philosophy (Re-Destro vs. Izuku), and the method styles of mentors (Re-Destro vs. All Might). Gang Orca: GANG. ORCA (my fave...<3). He deserves to shine. I want to learn more about him and how he managed to get up the hero charts despite the discrimination that he faced. Heck, he deserves to mentor one of the characters in Class 1-A, like Mezou, Koji, or both. Honestly, I remember an anon point out that Gang Orca would have been a better mentor for Bakugou because, unlike Jeanist, he actually made a dent on Bakugou's attitude. That, and the biggest moment of that "suppose" character development happened when he was in Gang Orca's training class after failing the hero license exam.
Me:
I’ll have to check that out. Wonder why that’s happening. It might be cause this is a side blog but I’ll fiddle around with that later.
Gang Orca is definitely a character I wanna see more. He’s a mutant and has been voted third place in “heroes that look like villains”. That should’ve been explored more. Add the fact that despite this he’s able to watch over kids and you got an interesting dynamic there.
I also agree that Mirio’s quirklessness was a missed opportunity too. Dude was able to fight Overhaul without a quirk and did pretty damn well. He could’ve definitely shown that someone could still be a hero while quirkless while also being more of an insight as to quirkless discrimination.
The MLA was definitely a missed opportunity. Sadly they only existed as canon fodder for both the LoV and the heroes. At least they did help develop the LoV, especially Twice.
