If you're a musician, this 1976 mid-century modern home in Franklin, Tennessee has the most incredible music studio hidden in the basement. Some of the rest of home needs updating, though. 5bds, 4.5ba, $4.970M.

The entrance and living room are very dramatic. Huge stone fireplace wall, high vaulted ceilings, and walls of windows with beautiful views.

There's also a nice dining room.

The kitchen has a family room area, but it's kind of dated. It looks like they painted the cabinets and left the island original.

Up on the mezzanine you can really see the MCM elements.

Not sure which of the bedrooms are the primary, but this one has a terrace.

This one is large enough for a sitting area.

And, there's also a sauna.

The basement is the star of the home. Here's a little "Penny Lane" corner. So cute. I should put the light on in my British phone booth at night- it's cozy.

There's also a bar down here. Beautiful rec room.

Collections of equipment. I guess that those are acoustic tiles on the ceiling.

There's a window looking into the recording studio.

Whoever owns this home is a serious musician. Maybe even a celebrity.

But, if someone buys it, all this stuff will be removed, so is what's left worth the price?

A pool table area is between the studio and the bar.

Also a nice powder room down here.

The back of the home has a huge deck.

The property is gated and measures 2.94 acres.
