Next time I hear a leftist say, "I hate all men," or even just, "I hate men," I'm gonna hit them with the "Damn, dude, that's pretty transphobic" shut down and just watch them fall apart as they try to either admit that they didn't see trans men as men, OR try to say that they do also hate all trans men in addition to all cis men.
I don't care if you're "venting." You can relieve stress without turning into a bigot. People do it all the time.

I love how men are getting so upset about the Barbie movie. Man-hating?? This movie covers the most basic level of feminism, and Barbie actually apologizes to Ken despite the fact that he brainwashed all the dolls simply because Barbie rejected him.
Men just haven’t seen any media that is actually man-hating because it’s not mainstream.
Meanwhile, women-hating is so pervasive in media that we’ve practically become immune to it. In so much media, women are degraded, brutalized, and objectified, that you can’t enjoy much media unless you tolerate misogyny.
This was one movie that wanted to cater to women, and men can’t stand it.

Oh, The Angry Women.
I got a friend request from someone I had not heard from in some time, so we reconnected about a week ago. The posts were, for the most part, pretty interesting and I interacted a few times.
Today, she posted an image that said something along the lines of, “A working man comes home and makes dinner, and a working woman comes home and makes dinner.”
I was one of the first people to comment, and…

The realest part of the Barbie Movie was when Barbie was like "okay but what if this hurts his feelings? what if this makes him sad? :(" after Ken stole her house, stole her car, and stole her agency, because as a woman you still have to second guess everything you do on the assessment of whether it might hurt a man's feelings.
And then that apprehension was proven right one million times over by the entire Conservative Internet Manosphere pissing and shitting and screaming themselves hoarse over Barbie daring to hurt a man's feelings.

Having friends who love the same character as you is so so so important, you know what else is underrated though? having a friend who absolutely HATES a character you have NEVER heard of. Beef with a man who is truly just some guy to you
