He's a total insensitive asshole at first

"God damn kid, the fuck happened to your wrists? You cut yourself or somethin'?"

When you start sniffling and crying he knows he's fucked up

"Oh shit, wait hey I-I didn't mean it!"

One 3 hour long lecture from Slender and EJ later about how you do not in fact, cut yourself, you were held as an experiment for your entire life, he feels like he's come out a changed man

He is too much of an asshole to apologize, but he will try to make it better by initiating small talk

"You know, I was kind of an experiment too in a way"

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean you know, I definetly didn't have it as bad as you but when I was growing up, my parents would force me to do things just to see how i'd react. And you know, how I look now is kind of a result of that"

You definetly don't like him after that, but you feel a little better

Jeff is an acquired taste for most people

No one just likes Jeff when they meet him LMAO

But as he continues to try and relate to you, you can commend him for trying

You still don't like him that much, but he's alright

Ben Drowned

He doesn't even mention it

He notices your scars and stuff, yeah, but he doesn't bring it up

1, he doesn't care enough to ask

2, he doesn't wanna make you upset

But sometimes, it's the guy that's too busy playing video games to actually listen to what you're saying that people trauma dump on

Which he doesn't mind

He's not a gossiper, and he forgets everything so chances are, if you tell Ben something, he's taking it to the grave

So as you sit there, telling him all you endured, he just sits there quietly

Maybe occasionally popping in with a "Damn that's crazy"

He probably isn't listening im sorry

Or maybe he is idk

The only way to really tell if he was is if months later, you mention something offhand and he's like

"Oh yeah I remember that. That's when a little bit of your skull was removed, right?"

And you'll just look at him like 'you were actually listening????'

Homicidal Liu

Liu, like Ben, notices but doesn't say anything

He and Jeff had a similar childhood, but even if he didn't, he still wouldn't risk bringing up trauma

But sometimes he gets a little concerned

Like if your wrists look a little more swollen than usual, then he will ask if he can see them

And he'll carefully look them over before getting an ointment that's supposed to help with swelling and rubbing it on them

He also has a lot of scars, so he gets the insecurity that comes with them

If he notices you covering up your arms or neck or wherever, he will offer one of his cardigans or scarves

And he will help adjust it so that it fits on you just right

Once it's on he will tell you how amazing you look

And if you really wanted, he'd let you keep the stuff he gives you

Or he'd go out shopping with you for something that better suits your style

Whichever you want, really

Eyeless Jack

He's probably one of the first people you meet when you get to the manor

And probably the one you see the most often

He is tasked with giving you your daily medicines, checkups, etc

He understands that a hospital room probably will bring up some trauma for you, so if you want to do your checkups in your room or somewhere else in the manor, he'd allow it

Really all he does is put lotion on your bruises, anti-itching ointment on where you were bound, cleaning and bandaging wounds, cleaning your scars, and giving you any medicine you might need

After that, he reminds you to be careful around your bandaged areas, and to try not to itch where he put the ointment, and then you're good to go

If you want, he'll give you a candy of your choice and a sticker

You do have a designated therapist, like all other members of the manor, but if you wanted to open up to him too he'd be ok with that

You opening up about your experiences also helps him give you the right medical treatment

And he assures you, that he and every other medical professional in the manor will never treat you how you were treated then

Of course, he understands that overcoming trauma is a process, and especially with medical professionals in your situation

But he will continue to accommodate whatever you need in the meantime to make you feel more comfortable

Toby

Toby from the beginning makes it clear that you can talk to him anytime you need

He loves helping people feel better, and would love to help you feel better

So if you do decide to open up to him, he will show you his own wounds and scars to make you feel better about them

He also helps you see that taking your medicine is cool and radical

(Take your meds kids, they're there to help you)

He will accompany you to the medical wing when you are finally able to go into hospital rooms

He wants you to feel safe, and if you need a break, he will be there to comfort you

He will also let you come with him when he needs to go to the medical wing, just to show you that everyone needs medical help sometimes, and that it's not scary here

He will let you touch his bandages so that you can see it's completly normal and helps your body get better

He's definetly the best to have around for medical reasons

MCL New Gen Ep 3 Review

I finally finished the episode! I'll give a more generic opinion about it here and put all the spoilers below the cut!

I think it was really nice, I didn't check how many APs I used but I saw someone else mention that it's around 1200 APs which I think is fair! I was scared about it at first because I'm not sure if I'm the only one who noticed that, ususally, the first episodes are either shorted/cheaper and that new episodes that come out are much more expensive... I hope that won't happen!

The outfits are pretty cute, also I noticed that if you want to, you can unlock the other outfit you missed for 150 hearts! It's just to unlock it in the shop without having to replay the episode, you still have to purchase each piece separately but I think it's alright since the prices are really cheap!!

I don't really know what else to add and still be spoiler free, so now it's time for spoilers! you've been warned!

I'm so so happy with how they get Candy to react everytime... I love that she changes expressions accordingly and it's much more fun!! Also I think I screenshotted(?) almost all of Jason's scenes,, I'm sorry I'm just so down bad I kept giggling everytime he said anything,, I think that's why it took me a while to finish the episode lol...

Petronilla you're so real for that... Me too... (he awakens the goblin inside me...)

Honestly I really think that we should keep this in mind everytime he opens his mouth because it's actually so true... Also how are you so obsessed... Keep it going...

I also wanted to mention this... Man he's just like me this guy is autistic as F**K I'm telling y'all... I relate to that so much, especially the fact that he apparently seems to be thinking in percentages as well (By that I mean that at least I tend to make my decisions based on calculations and such... That's why I like to joke about having a computer for brains lol)

Looks like Beemoov's writers did their homework on this guy cause if he's actually autistic-coded I think they did a great job! Autism is a spectrum in the end but I really resonate with how they're potraying it with Thomas! Kudos!

Last but not least... Jason's text after finishing the episode... I'm shipping Jason and Petronilla so hard,,,,,, I love the blue&pink contrast, they were made for each other your honor... If we add Amanda they can be the Bisexual flag together...

I was gonna post a vid on tiktok bc I have more followers there but i'll post it here because-

When I die, I wanna be reincarnated into Redacted Tumblr as a beautiful Lasko/Gavin spicy fic-

Anyway, I drew the D.A.M.N. boys + Imperium AU :D Please look at them, its late and I'm tired.

I also have a speedpaint of them on my yt (eggyboyoart) so if you wanted to look at that as well, I would be rlly happy :))

I wanted Lasko to look super light and soft and cloud-like while also being kind of elegant?? He looks so poofy :D

I hc that he takes rlly RLLY great care of his hair, like- mans has a 23 step routine to keep it untangled and soft :))

The hair routine also helps him relax and de-stress after a long day

I also headcanon that he wears a lot of light, soft sweaters with a button up underneath for that academic soft boy look

In the Imperium AU, he got the scar across his eye from a wayward daemon who tried to attack him in the D.A.M.N. daemon haven.

He wears his hair tied back into a low pony tail to seem more 'professional', bc my mans is the ACADEMY PRESIDENT :D

Imp! Lasko wears a black suit with a white button up and either a red or light blue tie (gotta keep it professional when you're tormenting daemons and chasing after uninterested freelancers :|)

IDK why but whenever I imagine Damien (original timeline), its always with rlly short hair

idk I feel like if he had long hair, it would make him too warm around his neck and that'd make him uncomfortable and grumpy (well, more grumpy than he usually is anyway)

gotta keep the neck open for air flow (and easy access-)

I think he wears a lot of sleeveless clothes (tank tops, sleeveless hoodies, etc and shorts bc of the heat

Damien is a chronic khaki shorts wearer, I'M SORRY-

Imp! Damien is royalty so obvs gotta keep it professional

I feel like he would have other priorities than cutting his hair so it mostly just gets slicked back out of his face

The scar on his neck is from a failed assassination attempt (our boy damien stays livin', unlike Angel-)

I feel like he still wears sleeveless shirts but also wears a fur cape (like, one of those white ones with the black spots with the red velvet) which seems counter intuitive.

I am relieved to say that Imp! Damien doesn't wear khaki shorts :D silver linings, guys-

I wanna start this off my saying, Imp! Huxley might be one of my favourite characters

Hes just, such a piece of shit and I don't want to change him, I want him to stay exactly how he is, thats the POINT-

Freelancer bought him neon jewellery for his lip piercings and he screamed when he got them

also a sweater wearer like lasko but he likes his sweaters to be oversized, but because hes just big, his sweaters are like blankets for regular sized ppl

he has his hair kinda long-ish bc freelancer enjoys playing with it and he likes making his friends happy so he keeps it kinda long just for them-

Imp! Huxley is a piece of shit and we love him for that

He doesn't have friends so his hair is shorter

He probably wears tactical gear/uniform bc he is an enforcer, but its all like a dark green which looks rlly good on him

no neon piercings for Imp! Hux as much as I hate to say it

GAVIN OUR FASHION ICON-

He knows clothes like he knows freelancer's body- IN AND OUT. Hes got that shit LOCKED DOWN

Freelancer gave him the heart glasses as a gift

Gavin never saw the appeal of piercings until freelancer said they would look hot on him, REALLY enjoys all the different types of jewellery

Probably wears patterned button up shirts (with as many buttons undone as possible) with skin tight jean/leather pants

Imp! Gavin dresses like hes homeless, theres no time for fashion when you're trying to survive in an dystopian magic world where everyone hates you :P

I hc that when a Daemon gets low in energy/emotions, they can't keep their 'glamour/human form' up so they forcibly have to take on their more daemonic traits (horns, coloured eyes, markings, tails, claws, etc)

and bc of the shit hole that the Imperium AU world is... :|

I also hc that only sex and sadism daemons have coloured sclera

Ghoul ghoul ghoul, idk if you've listened to the new Hozier song "too sweet" yet but I'm having some SEVERE brain wormies and I need them out before they consume me. It's just ugh- At first I was like- oh man, this is totally a Ghost song and it could still kinda be a Ghost song. But then Hozier himself dropped from the clouds and slammed my head into the radio and that's when I realized, this isn't a Ghost song. No no. This is a Price song. I could see this as him rejecting a much younger person.

He likes you, he does. You're this sweet, young thing who's just fallen head over heels and he's flattered. Really! But... you're too young. Too sweet. Maybe one day when you've grown up a bit more, gotten some more life experience or maybe never. In truth, you may never be bitter enough for him. He needs someone that's aged like him, someone who can match his stride. Just AHHHHHHH it's so Price coded I swear I'm gonna cry.

OK FIRST OF ALL

All day baby, we're on 48 hour Unreal Unearth Unheard lockdown. I'm studying these songs like I'm a gonna write a thesis on them. "Too Sweet" is a Ghost song baby, but it can apply to Price as well. Here's my interpretation of it. I was going to include how it relates to the boys but uh... this got long...

I don't think it's about a younger partner at all, I also see this as a song more about the narrator than the subject...

Diving in with Verse 1

It can't be said I'm an early bird It's 10 o'clock before I say a word Baby, I can never tell How do you sleep so well? You keep tellin' me to live right To go to bed before the daylight But then you wake up for the sunrise You know you don't gotta pretend Baby, now and then

Our subject is a morning person, they're up early while the narrator is sleeping in. The narrator clearly doesn't sleep well, for one reason or another, they even ask how the subject sleeps so well. But then we get this line that defines the whole song.

"You keep tellin' me to live right"

The subject isn't just an early bird, they're the sort of person who sees this as a health issue. They go to bed, sleep well, and wake up with the sunrise to enjoy the day. By contrast the narrator goes to bed in the wee hours of the morning and is clearly living a life that isn't healthy in the subjects eyes.

But the narrator also doesn't believe that the subject is truly the healthy person they "pretend" to be.

[Pre-Chorus] Don't you just wanna wake up Dark as a lake Smellin' like a bonfire Lost in a haze? If you're drunk on life, babe I think it's great But while in this world

Here the narrator describes his nights spend out in the darkness partying. Lost in a haze of booze or drugs, he says it's great that the subject is "drunk on life" but he'd prefer to get "lost in a haze." He questions why the subject wouldn't want to join him in this lifestyle, we go into the chorus with the understanding that the narrator is "enjoying" life through his unhealthy habits.

[Chorus] I think I'll take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me I take my whiskеy neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for mе You're too sweet for me

He takes his whiskey neat, which gives this wonderful impression of masculinity and sounds very clean, but in reality he may as well be pulling straight from the bottle. Whiskey neat just means no ice, no nothing to distill the liquor down. Then he takes his coffee black, again we get this sort of rich bitterness, but he contrasts it, he drinks it in his bed at 3. There's no good 3 at which he's drinking black coffee, pm or am.

The narrator lives his life in bitterness, in unhealthy habits. Of course his subject is "too sweet" for him, they're healthy and seem happy. In contrast the narrator doesn't seem happy so much as he feels pre-destined to this life. He doesn't want to change his habits because this life feels almost deserving to him. He's lost in the haze, he's taking pulls straight from the bottle and waking up late in the day only to do it all over again.

[Verse 2] I aim low I aim true, and the ground's where I go I work late where I'm free from the phone And the job gets done But you worry some, I know But who wants to live forever, babe? You treat your mouth as if it's Heaven's gate The rest of you like you're the TSA I wish that I could go along Babe, don't get me wrong

Oof verse 2. This is where I think we really see where the narrator sees their lives diverging. "The ground's where I go" his life is going downhill, he's headed for an early grave, but he can't divert the arrow. He is forced to lower his aim because this is the cycle. Hozier himself said this song was meant for the circle of gluttony, and I hear it. The idea that his consumption, his over consumption is going to kill him one day.

And he tries to justify it! "I work late... the job gets done" he's away from his phone, the subject can't reach him, healthy habits can't reach him. But he deserves to let loose, because he's getting the job done. He sees this as a freedom, as a reward, and yet he knows it worries the subject, but by his own words "who wants to live forever"? If he's already destined for the grave why shouldn't he enjoy it?

Contrasted again by the subject. "You treat your mouth as if it's heaven's gate" he sees the subject as preachy, they keep trying to offer him salvation he doesn't want, and the words hit him as almost fictitious. He's so deep in the hole that even the hand held out to him seems like it's coming from heaven, so far is he from his baby. "The rest of you like it's the TSA" regimented, the subject has rules that they follow dutifully, they have a routine, they're strict with what they let through their filters. And the narrator wishes he could go along with it! He admires it, but for one reason or another he can't.

[Pre-Chorus] You know you're bright as the morning As soft as the rain Pretty as a vine As sweet as a grape If you can sit in a barrel Maybe I'll wait Until that day

Ok this is the part I think makes people imagine it's about a younger person. The lines "If you can sit in a barrel/ Maybe I'll wait" people think is about aging, but I disagree. I think it's about embittering the subject. Grapes are sweet, wine is dry and bitter, it's hot in the blood. The narrator is saying that if the subject can grow to be as bitter (and alcoholic) as he is then maybe he'd be able to stick to them.

BUT in the background going to the chorus we hear church bells, we hear wedding bells. The narrator is vividly in love with the subject even though they're such opposites. I think he wants the subject to save him, but he can't find the strength to ask. He's telling them that he loves them, they're all these wonderful opposites to him, but they don't understand his bitterness for one reason or another. He can imagine a future with them, he can hear the wedding bells, but he can't stop pushing them away. He knows they're right, knows they're good for him, but he's not ready to be saved yet.

[Chorus] I'd rather take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me I take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me

This last chorus really seals it for me. It's so powerfully sung, again the narrator is justifying his lifestyle to the subject, but it's more desperate. He's trying to convince himself as much as them. The wedding bells ring, the narrator pushes this too sweet person away because he knows he's bad for them. He wants to make them bitter, he wants to make them more like himself instead of changing his habits, and he knows that's wrong. It's a declaration, "You're too sweet for me" find someone else, find someone that doesn't drink from the bottle, that can wake up with you and go to bed with you, find someone that doesn't want to ruin you the way I do.

I think the fact that the bells ring all the way through the end of the last chorus lines signals that the subject sticks around, that they're determined to help the narrator, and finally when the song ends (rather abruptly) the narrator gives in. His life of debauchery ends, and that pretty thing, soft as the rain, is no longer too sweet for him.

yes, absolutely, you've been introduced to their friend group through charli because she is the fucking coolest and makes an offhanded comment like "hmmm you know what now that you're single, there's someone i wanna introduce you to" (that someone being ross obv) and you do absolutely hit it off but maybe you're both a bit shy at first to ask each other out immediately. like you like each other a lot and worry that the other might not feel the same but oh lordddd he is so down bad.

he's quite good at hiding it though, or maybe he thinks he's quite good at hiding it 🤭 like he won't go up to charli and directly ask her when you're coming. he'd instead just casually be like "oh, thought your friend was coming too, isn't she?" all cool and aloof as if he doesn't care, he's just 'curious' but charli instantly clocks it and smirks at him like "well, aren't you curious!!! she's running a bit late don't worry. she'll be here in 15, i just got a text from her."

and he spends the next 15 minutes trying not to hover near the door so he can be the one to open it once the doorbell rings. anyway, he isn't the one to open it--george is. and you go around saying hello to people and hugging both george and charli before you shyly wave at ross and fix your hair a bit (self conscious, it was kinda windy outside and ross finds it so adorable that your hair is all unruly and messy in a very effortlessly sexy way)

charli immediately hooks her arm with yours and pulls you towards ross and goes "so ross is really good at making cocktails and you were saying how you were gasping for a good martini!" and then she sorta pushes you both together towards her home bar and says "go ahead, use whatever you like"

while your back is turned she also throws a wink at ross who rolls his eyes and mouths a silent thank you (she really is a good wingwoman) and well turns out he is really good at making cocktails. you even comment on it and he's like "come on i'll teach you." so you hold the shaker in your hands a bit unsure until you feel him right behind you and so close that you can almost feel the heat radiating off him. his cologne is mouth-wateringly good and you fucking want to turn around and pull him into a kiss.

he is no better tho--his heart is fucking hammering in his chest because he really does fancy you so much and you're so fucking close to him. so he does the second best thing which is wrapping his hand over yours under the guise of teaching you how to make a martini.

your hand is so small and soft in his and it's like the first time he's ever properly touched you so he feels like he's fucking sixteen again. no one is paying attention to the martini, you're both just busy blushing and being idiots in general. <3

Hunger Games Men as Taylor Swift Songs

Idk if this is kinda odd to post but I'm a person who loves music and every song I listen to paints a scene in my head and I've been getting super into hunger games lately so a lot of the songs I've been listening to have reminded me of the characters. Specifically, my delulu self can imagine being in certain romantic situations with them based on the situations happening in these songs. For the sake of continuity, we will use songs from Ms. Taylor. I wanna write little one shots inspired by these situations. I already wrote the Snow one today so maybe I'll continue.

tldr- these are Taylor swift songs that reminded me of what it might be like to be in a relationship with these characters.

Honestly I was thinking 'Mine' at first but I felt like Peeta HAD to have a song off of Fearless. He is the human embodiment of sunshine to me and Fearless as an album is gold, bright, and holds a theme of puppy love throughout it. All of those things just SCREAM Peeta Mellark to me. 'Jump Then Fall' is a song that is relatively vague in terms of story telling lyrics but it is about loving someone and being happy just to see them happy and wanting to be there for your partner no matter what. I feel like Peeta is that kind of ride or die lover. Even after the capital had brainwashed him into hating Katniss he still found his way back into loving her again anyways. He is a lover you can trust. He truly would stick through it all so it's okay to 'Jump Then Fall'.

(Story Idea: Kinda toying with a cute little fluff where the reader and Peeta are going swimming at a lake or something. I have another idea for him too but it's apart of the Finnick X Reader X Peeta story I'm theorizing)

Gale Hawthorn

Firstly, Red is my favorite album. Sorry had to get that out of the way. Gale honestly, ugh there was so much potential here. I think as the movies progressed he started to lose his empathy and grew a more selfish shell. Better Man really reminds me of what Katniss might have been thinking with him. He would've been the one if he was a better man.

(Story idea: reader contemplating their relationship with Gale a month or two after the break up and reliving the memories of the past that are gloomy and haunted over by the fact that, Gale really wasn't ready for a relationship. They ponder over things until coming to the disheartening conclusion that brought them to breaking it off in the first place, it really could've worked out if he was a better man.

Also possibly a part two of that with a tooth rotting fluff about Gale going through some character development and becoming a better man and then they get back together)

Finnick Odair

Starlight- Taylor swift, Red

"He said "Look at you, worrying too much about things you can't change, You'll spend your whole life singing the blues if you keep thinking that way"

Ahehehe Finnicks my favorite. It was hard to pick just one for him but I went with Starlight because he is just such a charmer. Starlight is a song about a whirlwind sort of romance where you are at a party and doing some silly things and you're falling in love. I can totally imagine this happening with Finnick. You meet at a capital party, run off together and start creating some chaos and fall in love. There's specific lines that remind me of him like the "he was trying to skip rocks on the ocean saying to me, "don't you see the starlight"". I could totally see Finnick doing that and just truly being a charming man and finding those little bits of joy in the messed up life given to him. I could see this also being a sort of sheltered reader and it being their first party and he helps them loosen up and have fun.

Honestly, its hard for me to pinpoint just one song for him because so many remind me of him so here are some honorable mentions.

Holy Ground- Same kinda vibe as Starlight

Forever Winter- he has trauma and I can help him. Ours- Finnicks Reputation makes your family question if you should be with him but you know him truly and they can't take whats ours

Mine- A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK THIS ONE BECAUSE OF THE "I remember we were sitting there by the water" line but the rest of the song doesn't fit him

Paper Rings- They wanna get married but Finnick can't because of the capitals uh plan with him so they have a little ceremony with just themselves and some friends and paper rings before the events of Catching Fire and then they decide to run off to district 13 to be together for real

Coriolanus Snow

Tolerate It- Taylor Swift, Evermore

"I know my love should be celebrated, but you Tolerate it"

honestly this was the one that inspired me to do this post. I already wrote this story because I CANT HELP MYSELF! This song was playing in my car after I watched tbosas and it was just painting this whole picture of how the person Snow ended up marrying after Lucy Gray must have felt. I'm pretty sure there was that line in the book too that was talking about how Snow never wanted to fall in love again because he felt so out of control and how he would marry someone he didn't love so that he never had to feel that way again. it was something like that. So Tolerate It sounds like the total POV of his next partner. The song itself is about a relationship with a power imbalance where the person singing the song is giving their absolute all for the love, affection, and praise of their partner and their partner gives them nothing in return. The term "Tolerate It" also is insinuating that the person the narrator is in love with is mildly annoyed with the things the singer is doing for them. They simply deal with it but are never impressed and that just gave me snow vibes.

Omg ok ok hello! I had this huge rant in my head about sy and sn so pls feel free to ignore it, but I love your writing so much and it gives me some STRONG FEELINGS. First of all it surprised me that I like the way you write y/n cuz she doesn't become a "bitch" after the whole deal with Gojo and have some elaborate revenge plan, but she is also not a goody two shoes (even if she stayed with Gojo earlier but she had a lot of external pressure to stay in the marriage). Not that those tropes are necessarily bad but it's just more realistic this way. She's just a person who has been deeply hurt and is trying to do right by others. Even if she has made big mistakes, she still wants to make up for them cuz she's not completely in the right either. Also getting bashed by everyone for trying to make amends/ not following their advice regarding you own life; while very triggering for me (lol) is also just such a natural reaction. Not right, just natural. When things get out of people's hands and they want to blame someone for it, they often go for the one who is actually trying and won't retaliate if for nothing than to just keep the peace. Also wanting people to understand your side of the situation yet feeling undeserving of it at the same time because of your mistakes is UGHHH I feel like you do that so well! It's amazing but genuinely heartbreaking to see how far Satoru has come as a person too. Also when he thinks about how he wants to be a better person for Akemi IT MADE ME WANT TO PUT MY HEAD THROUGH A WALL... cuz WHY COULDN'T HE BE LIKE THAT FOR US!!! At the same time we have moved on without him, so if we are allowed that luxury then why isn't he? It's just so ANGSTY AND SO SO GOOD! Because we love Satoru we always will but he had a chance and he fricked it over terribly! So it would be idiotic to go back to him but at the same time the heart yearns for him. This is a side tangent but whenever any character says "this is not like you", "you have changed, this isn't how you'd act" makes me so MAD lol (maybe bc I am triggered?) But these guys WATCHED MY GIRL GO THROUGH SOME HORRIFIC SHIT AND STILL EXPECT HER TO NOT BE PERMANANTLY AND IRREVERSIBLY CHANGED???!! ;-;; IDK what they want from her oof >.< I do think Akemi is a shitty friend but I can't bring myself to hate her completely. Seeing them together is so ANGER INDUCING AAAAA (and her wanting a family with him is fine BUT THIS EARLY?!JUST AFTER ADMITTING YOU FEEL "SORRY" FOR BETRAYING US?! IT MAKES ME WANNA HURL HER TRHOUGH CONCRETE) but at the same time Satoru and Akemi both deserve someone who can love them. It feels hypocritical to be angry when we ourselves told him to move on and find someone who can love him the way he deserves. It's just very very shitty it had to be them. Sera is also such an interesting character. She has a lot of traits that I admire a lot. Her resourcefulness and complete and utter pride/confidence and being unashamed to ask for things/ stand up for herself (even when she is wrong) is something I wish I had sometimes. Still wanna stick her head through a toilet tho and yet when a person who slept with a married man can see the bloody violation of girls' code that is sleeping with your bff's EX HUSBAND oh BOY you should KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG. I have no strong feelings for Toji (cuz I don't like him much anyways but that's just personal bias XD )but I do think his anger and frustration is well founded especially since he runs over whenever the reader needs him. He's so supportive and invested and honestly he deserves someone who can give that back to him. It's kinda sad but then again I don't like him much to begin with lol.

OH AND THE ENDING OF THE LAST CHAPTER IS SOOOOO PAINFUL. To always be the second choice even for YOUR SON OHHH MAN I'D RATHER YOU PUT A KNIFE THROUGH MY HEART ;-;

All in all I hate how much I love this series and love to hate these characters and take out my repressed anger on them cuz I can't do that irl. This series is my Roman Empire lol. It's so painful, yet so beautiful and it makes you FEEL so many things and yet hold out hope for things to become better. I love this, love you and your writing- ok mwah bye bye (and thank you if you read this rant put together by my post nap, barely coherent brain) I have so much more that I want to say. I can write essays about this series and how it uses so many technically "cliche" tropes but it is anything but cliche . Truly some of the best angst I have read like ever!

Ik people talk a lot bout Caleb being doomed by the narrative but I don't think we talk enough bout Belos being doomed by the narrative. He's someone who wanted to be the main character so badly that he became the villian. In a story and another realm that couldn't give less of a shit about all of that lol.

TOH is a fantasy story that breaks both the fantasy and the fantasy genre. Playing with what you'd expect of it. Of what you'd expect from a fantasy story n world. It's pretty realistic too and not in a dumb grim dark way it's like, genuinely realistic. Sometimes the heroes loose. Sometimes shitty people get off scot free. Sometimes things change, permanently, for both the worse, neutral and better. And again not in a grim dark way there's still beauty to behold here. There's still love to be found.

So where does that put Belos? Someone who wants and demands that kind of story for himself in a world that couldn't give less of a shit about it giving that to him? He gets angry, bitter and spiteful. He blames the world for not meeting his entitled demands. He holds such a strong conviction in his beliefs and values as well and is so goddamn arrogant that he's immune to change. All of his problems become entirely self made. Made worse by his guilty conscience and with each choice he makes it spirals, getting worse and worse. A bit of a "I'm in too deep" attitude going on here if you get what I mean.

Look. He knows, deep, deep down that what he's doing is wrong.

But he'll never admit to that. Because admitting to that guilt means taking a long, very long uncomfortable hard look into the mirror. It means acknowledging everything.

There's a reason he started wearing gloves after killing Caleb..

He is his own worse problem. He keeps making worse and worse decisions for himself. Spiraling further and further down due to his own worse vices, guilt, fear and entitlement. He is doomed by a narrative that doesn't care about giving it's characters that kind of fantasy and narrative. His fantasy. And in any other fantasy story, let's be honest, he would be the main character. But not here. Luz, a bi Latina neurodivergent gnc girl is the main character, not him. And the Demon Realm isn't going to give him any special treatment cuz he's a cishet white human man. It's not gonna give him special treatment at all lol. In fact him not having a bile sack puts him lower on the totem pole and you know that irks him SO MUCH (lol suffer harder Bitchlos)

He's also doomed by a narrative about love, acceptance, family, friendship, community, growth, compassion, change, moving on, etc. etc. He's a looser, loner, incel, hero wannabe Christo-fascist dictator who's last person in his life that genuinely loved him, died; 300 years ago by his own hateful hands.

I have many other thoughts n feelings bout this but idk I just wanna get this out there. I have Many Thoughts bout this show that I only let ruminate in my head cjsjsks. Figured I should get them out there so yeah. Lemme know your thoughts lol

Ok Andy this had been on my mind for a while now and I really want to hear your thoughts on this!

So we all know that Shouto is pure husband material, the kinda guy you'd be proud to introduce to your parents! But yk all those years of abuse and trauma (our poor bby ;-;) would definitely take a big toll on anyone, right?! So I was reminiscing about the earlier episodes where he is all closed off and cold to everyone, and that really got me thinking... what would dating Shouto REALLY be like.

How much of his behavior in a relationship really be affected by his past? Obviously nobody is perfect and even though our princess man comes close what do you think his shortcomings are as a person/partner? What do you think his toxic traits would be? What could be some of his bad habits? How would he react during an argument? I used to hc that he would be really calm and passive but then I remembered this scene

Ofc us being his partner would change things, but he DOES lash out at times. The police officer hadn't yelled at them, he was just explaining what they did was wrong according to the law (which could be unfair but thats his job) and he straight up called him a slur 💀 (well yk in this society where so many ppl have animal related quirks it probably is a slur? Idk tho). He was sorry later but still. I was so shocked when I internalized the fact that Shouto does infact have quite a temper, even when he's not rude/ aggressive about it. It doesn't make him bad or anything because 9/10 times it's well warranted and I am just a pussy who doesn't handle other's anger well but yk...

WHO WOULD EXPECT A TEMPER FROM THIS LIL FACE?!

I am really wanna take his character and study him under a microscope and I am really interested to see your pov on this. Also don't feel inclined to agree with anything I said if you dont, I asked you precisely cuz I wanted a different way of looking at him from mine.

Btw none of this is to paint him as a bad person or partner because of a few shortcomings or his trauma. We all know he's too precious for that and that would be hypocritical of me especially since I have many of my habits and unhealthy ways of dealing with stuff that I dislike, but I also feel like he has so much angst potential in issues that aren't necessarily rooted in his family but moreso his own personality. Healing is often a "one step forward and three step back journey" and while I hate to watch him struggle, his perseverance gives me a lot of strength. Also obviously people change over the course of time and character development and all that, but we see even after the MASSIVE amounts of character development Bakugo has he still retains a lot of his previous qualities and obviously still struggles with a few things. I wonder if it's similar for Shouto. I wonder what he struggles with 🤔 (idk why I am scared but I don't want ppl to take these dumb sleepy thoughts of mine the wrong way yk lol)

I support my mans rights, his wrongs and everything in between :>

(p.s. I am so sleepy rn I don't even know if any of this is coherent cuz the points are flying all over the place but I hope you get a gist of what I am trying to ask. I love myself some sweet angst when it comes to all my blorbos but when I think of Shouto nothing obvious comes to mind. Also whenever I write even an ask or question like this my respect for writers keeps increasing tenfold! How do you guys write fics at like 4 am and it's still a masterpiece and I can barely string my thoughts together... )

Yes!!! I have so many thoughts about this, particularly as someone who also has daddy issues and a hot temper but actively works to be better as well lol.

I do think for the most part we've really seen Shouto move past who he was in those earlier episodes. That is not to say he still doesn't have those feelings, but he arguably manages them in a more regulated way. He has the temper but now he also has the tools and the perspective to better articulate himself.

I think generally Shouto would work hard to be calm and patient during an argument, but as with any human being, mistakes will be made and tempers will spike. I think during particularly bad arguments he'd get more closed off, like in those earlier episodes, would try to go off by himself so that he doesn't explode with that white-hot rage.

I do think, thankfully, that Shouto's ability to show empathy and compassion even in the middle of what we know are the most emotionally trying times of his life (the fights with Dabi), bodes well for his future ability to communicate and regulate himself on the whole. I do not see him as the kind of man who would yell or break things; I see him as the kind of man who now does everything in his power not to be like that.

And also with a face like that, would we not just let him win any argument anyway?? LOL

Not me rewatching Unmortricken (s7e5) again. Bro, I am so mad at how much I like Prime Rick. I mean- he's such an asshole and I hate him. But his tech is insane! His asshole quips, and shit eating grin as he confidently tells you the meanest shit imaginable- I love that man and hate him so damn much, lmao.

I also wanna take a moment to appreciate Evil Morty like sm. Like- he's pretty uncaring and cold in order to get what he wants, but he's actually so cool. Like he didn't NEED to rez Rick at the end of the fight, he chose to as an act of good faith between them. Despite participating in the fight for his own purposes- he could have just as easily killed Rick Prime and scanned his dying brain for the schematics- but he didn't. He left him alive and even placed our Rick in front of him like a present. Man- Evil Morty is the fuckin goat, I really hope we see more of him in s8.

I'm so fuckin proud of Rick though. Like- I know what he did wasn't really in the grand scheme of things, like a good thing to do? Or even like a helpful thing. Cause I mean Rick Prime was so many Rick's main motivation. Imagine hearing another Rick got to him before you? Like i'd deadass jump off of something high- like that's fucked.

But Rick worked toward this his whole life, and he finally did it. No, he's not the good guy- but i'm so fucking proud of him for doing it. Sure, life doesn't get better now that he's dead- but at least now he lives in a life where nothing changes AND that fucker is dead. I'm just proud, is all. Rick deserves happiness. I really hope he finds it somehow.

And now to turn around and say... Despite me wanting the best for Rick- I did see theories (reposted it I think) of people thinking Rick Prime somehow connected himself to C137's psyche or some shit, and our Rick keeps seeing him everywhere because of it. (Like he's being haunted.)

As horrible and heartbreaking as that storyline probably would be, dear god, I want that kind of angst. I'm honestly kinda sad Rick Prime is gone, man- I want him more involved in the storyline! I mean- memory Rick is still up there somehow? Maybe Rick Prime and Memory Rick can duke it out? Lol. Idk, it just seems like while Rick Prime has been, like, the villain all along- but we only really got to see him more in depth in s6 and 7. I want more! It seems too soon for him to be gone just like that- but Ig life do b like that. Maybe they're just going for realism. (Which I can respect that, honestly, just give Rick the happiness he deserves, don't listen to me. ToT)

There's my thoughts though, kinda just wanted to brain rot about the episode for a bit~

Crows As Vampires

Idk why I chose that gif-. Anyway I have had no inspiration or motivation to do anything. The mental illness is hitting. I am on my knees begging y’all to let me have this😭. No one’s born a vampire cause I don’t think vampires should be able to reproduce and in this universe how you’re changed determines what kind of vampire you are. I’ll explain later.

Kaz Brekker

Kaz has screwed over plenty of people in his life. That's how life is as a criminal and he was damn good at it. Almost an expert.

Almost being the keyword

Kaz screwed over the wrong person. Unbeknownst to him, this person was actually a witch. The witch cursed him to have these symptoms we would call “vampirism”

Immortality so he would watch everyone he loves die. A lust for blood since he was a leech that led others like a lamb to a slaughter. Burning in the sun so he could stay a rat in the shadows. Ect. Ect.

This would've been terrible for anyone else, but this is Kaz Brekker we're talking about.

Also this isn't how nature works. Things can't be only good or only bad so nature gave him a few perks.

All it took was some practicing and getting used to then boom, he was living his best life.

He doesn't need the cane anymore, but he keeps it to trick others.

Genuinely thinks the witch that cursed him is the dumbest person ever because all the weaknesses he can get around. The sun? He doesn't go outside much and can have others do shit for him. Holy water? Does this man look like he goes to church? A wooden stake? What are the chances? Garlic? He prefers onion powder-

He's a traditional vampire so blood tastes good no matter what. I don't know if he'd go hunting himself though. He'd probably have another Crow bring him something, like bringing the homie Wendy's if you just got some.

Best part of vampirism is probably the animal control. It's the perfect distraction and this man is nuts so he'd probably have a rat jump on somebody with a phobia.

I'd say hypnosis but I feel like Kaz enjoys the thrill he gets from outsmarting everyone. Hypnosis would be so boring to him. It'd only be used if he absolutely needed to.

I think the part of vampirism he'd struggle with the most would be the feeding though. Not out of guilt but too many dead bodies make people raise a brow and that would affect business.

Kaz would prefer feeding on people who don't really have anyone. I know you're thinking “duh! That's so obvious! Who wouldn't?”. Jesper. More on him later though.

Kaz wants to go after opponents but knows that'll stir too much shit up.

I wanna say he refuses to feed on kids ‘cause it'd remind him of him and Jordie but this is the same man who threatened a little girl and said he'd kill all her dogs just to make sure she wouldn't snitch. And when Wylan was like “that's not ok” he was like “I could've killed her and made it look like an accident”, so idk. Man is deranged.

Kaz has red eyes because… uhhh… I want him to.

I think vampires should have another face when they feed and his gotta be the scariest. This is The Bastard of The Barrel we're talking about here. You gotta feel fear in your veins.

Overall, he's enjoying vampirism. Big mistake giving this man powers.

Inej Ghafa

Inej would get turned when she's at the Menagerie

One of the regulars came in but he was off. He was way more jumpy and sensitive to things. Inej knocked something over and instead of annoyance, he seemed to be in pain. Like his ears hurt.

She didn't say anything though. Tante Heleen would kill her.

Suddenly the man attacked her and bit her. She screamed but he covered her mouth with his hand. Inej did the only thing she could think of and bit his hand hard, drawing blood. The man was in pain and after a short fight, he snapped her neck and killed her.

Weirdly though, Inej woke up after some time. It made no sense to anyone. Not to the other girls, Tante Heleen, the doctor, anyone. Inej should've been dead. Instead all she did was crack her neck and describe the guy who did it.

The next day Kaz Brekker came and she introduced herself. The day after that, she no longer worked for Tante Heleen.

Turns out the vampire who attacked her was a newborn. He had some of the vampire strengths, like advanced speed and strength but he also still had human qualities. Like human skin, instead of the impenetrable skin older vampires have. Kaz was hunting him down because his uncontrolled killings were causing a ruckus, that's when he met Inej and noticed something was off about her. She smelt like death.

Inej turned instead of dying because when she bit him, it drew blood and she ended up swallowing it. Drinking a vampire's blood then dying was another way to be turned.

Because she was terrified when it all happened, as a vampire blood tastes better if it's from someone scared. The more scared they are, the better. If she drinks normal blood, it tastes fine but it doesn't make her as strong or taste as good as blood from someone frightened.

Inej doesn't really like going out of her way to scare the shit outta someone. Don't get me wrong, Inej ain't no punk but she sees it as “I'm scaring people for my own benefit? No thanks”.

During her newborn stage, Inej was not fucking with it at all. There were benefits but she hated the idea of murder. The only reason she started drinking is because she was starving and Kaz threw a random person in the room. When she snapped out of it, she was horrified and she was angry because Kaz knew what he was doing.

So she attempted to run away but the problem was the hunger obviously didn't stop. One day she saw a man she knew frequented the Menagerie. A man who was extremely abusive and had cut and injured the girls plenty of times. Again, she got angry. So angry she stalked and killed him.

A lightbulb went off. She didn't wanna scare innocent people but abusers? They weren't innocent. So that's who she targeted. Oh and obviously she returned to the Crow Club.

Only problem with abusers is unfortunately they have money and people looking at them so she can't go after a lot of them which leaves her back to drinking regular human blood. Sometimes she drinks from animals or steals blood bags.

Best part of vampirism is how nimble she is. Sure she was a great acrobat before but her speed and agility change is the best to her. She could do so much more without worrying about forever losing her legs in a stupid accident.

She's called a spider for a reason.

I don't even think she'd care for the other powers. Yeah they're there and she'll use them but she's not too concerned.

Worst part I think is the feeding but not for the same reasons as Kaz. Inej has a guilty conscience and she's also religious. I think the fact that she has to take innocent lives (when she can't get to bad people) would make her feel cursed. Like the Saints were against her or didn't hear her prayers anymore. How could she claim her heart belonged to them when her heart didn't even beat anymore? She was sinning often. It's not like killing on a job, that's when your back's against the wall. She's literally killing for her own selfish needs.

It'd take her a while to come to terms that she's killing for survival and she never asked to become a vampire in the first place.

Once she comes to terms with that I honestly don't see her using her powers for straight nonsense. She uses them to get jobs done and feeds when she has to. She's probably the one bringing Kaz take out when he's too lazy.

Idk why but I feel like she'd have purple eyes. I don't have a reason. Just roll with me.

Overall, she'd have conflicting feelings. The first couple years would be rough but she'd learn to embrace it.

Jesper Fahey

Jesper is my favorite Crow and my favorite in the entire show but my poor babe is not all the way there sometimes. He's not dumb by any means but ya know, sometimes he's in a silly goofy mood.

Jesper was turned when he was in college. Keep in mind, my boy was only there for what? A WEEK?

He lost at a game of cards and instead of beating him they were like “there's this book that a dead witch supposedly wrote. There's a ritual and everything, you gotta do it or pay me”.

Jesper was like “bet, I ain't no hoe” (probably not with those words) and did the stupid ritual which consisted of blood, rain water and some chanting and nothing happened, much to the disappointment of his college pals and him. The ritual was supposed to give him powers or something. Too bad.

Something weird started happening. Jesper was a funny guy and liked socializing but he swore he started feeling more energy course through him when he made everyone laugh. And when he walked outside, the sun burned. It left a mark and everything.

He started skipping classes to avoid the sun and the kids he knew were too busy to constantly visit him. Since he was alone for a couple days, he felt incredibly hungry.

One late night he was walking to get food when a lady fell hard. Jesper, being nice, ran over to help. That's when he noticed the smell of blood and it smelt amazing. Long story short, he ended up attacking her. When he realized what happened, he took a closer look at that book. He realized they didn't inform him about the negative side effects. And sure, he somewhat got it. What were the chances of it working? But since they made him do that instead of paying up, they knew there could've been a possibility of everything going left.

He had no idea what was happening and ended up leaving college. Not only was he out of money (that's why he was so glad he wouldn't have to pay) but he worried about who else he would attack. He ended up working for gangs and as we know, Kaz found him.

They ended up finding out that Jesper was special. Jesper was always the main focus in a crowd so when he became a vampire, that ability turned him into an emotional vampire. He didn't have to hunt people down and feed the old fashioned way. He could feed on people by absorbing their emotions when they felt a strong emotion, such as happiness. It made him feel amazing but it made them feel drained and depending on how much he took, they could faint.

Now he could always just bite people but absorbing emotions is bigger.

Best part of vampirism is hypnosis. If he's well fed and feeling strong, he can just hypnotize his gambling opponent into letting him win.

Worst part is probably the sunlight. Jesper likes nighttime, don't get me wrong, but the fact that he's limited to only moving around at night is nuts to him. Since he shouldn't be doing it, he wants to do it more.

Jesper has to be reeled in by Kaz when it comes to feeding cause Jesper honestly will go after anyone. The more challenging, the more fun. He has to constantly be reminded that the more challenging, the more chance of being caught.

He also reminds him that he doesn't have to bite people to feed but Jesper sometimes just likes the rush.

Probably makes a bunch of vampire puns and Kaz is tired of his shit.

He'd be even more on edge when it comes to his dad. It'd be even more of a reason to never see him again. He would only think about it when he 100% had his hunger under control.

Idk what eye color he'd have tbh

Overall likes being a vampire but the side effects are there.

Nina Zenik

After Nina took Parem, things didn't look good. It was obvious to everyone that Nina was dying.

Nina was in the know when it came to vampires. She honestly didn't care and didn't have any interest at first. But as she sat there slowly dying, she wondered what life would've been like if she asked to be bit.

The Saints seem to be listening because Inej walked in and said she wanted to help her. Nina knew how she'd help.

Inej was getting closer and Nina couldn't help but feel nervous. Suddenly though, she saw Matthias. Inej simply made her think she was Matthias, but Nina was so delirious that she actually thought it was him. She thought of their life together so far and what they could have in the future. Her thoughts started to slip towards something more lustful and that's when “Matthias” shoved “his” bloodied arm at her. She drank it then her neck was quickly broken.

She awoke soon after, beginning her new life.

Nina is a sexual vampire, meaning blood tastes the best when it's someone experiencing feelings of lust or orgasming.

Matthias experiences lust for Nina and has said she can drink from him but she doesn't trust herself. She's worried she got him out of Hellgate only to kill him later on.

Instead she flirts with unsuspecting men and women. No sex obviously and they don't taste as good as they could but just that little bit of lust adds something to their blood.

Best part of vampirism would be immortality. She's living forever with her family and doesn't have to worry about getting sick or dying again.

Immortality is also the worst part. Matthias has always said he has no interest in being a vampire and the thought of him dying makes her think she should've let herself die on the boat (until she changes him against his will but moving on-)

Probably targets men and women with low level jobs. Like the people who guard doors of some building, rich people go to. Or fishermen. People whose disappearance can just be chalked up to them being irresponsible.

Being a vampire is kinda in the middle for her. Not great but not terrible. Sometimes she wants to go outside during the day and can't. Sometimes she wants to eat something like garlic bread and can't. Sometimes she wants to wear silver jewelry and can't. It can be a real pain.

When Matthias is human she treats him like he's delicate, because compared to her, he is. They arm wrestle and he's down for the count.

The stereotype is that vampires sleep in a coffin but with how big Matthias is? Yeah, no. They'll just sleep in a dark room.

Nina doesn't exactly want kids, but with Matthias she wouldn't mind them. Now they can't have them at all though and that choice being taken away isn't fun. Honestly any choice now taken away rubs her the wrong way.

I feel like her eyes would also be red like Kaz.

Overall is half and half about vampirism.

Matthias Helvar

As we all know, Matthias ends up dying in Crooked Kingdom. He didn't want it to happen, but he accepted it. He knew this would be the end.

Imagine his surprise when he woke up months later.

Turns out Nina wanted to turn Matthias into a vampire but acted too late. She ended up finding a witch who was willing to do a ritual to return his spirit to his body. Side effects would be symptoms of vampirism.

As you can imagine, Matthias was very unhappy. Nina didn't have the excuse of “oh I panicked”. No. She found a witch and instead of asking for her future to be told, she whipped out his corpse.

As a vampire Matthias is a soul vampire. When he feeds it decreases the lifespan of his victim, sometimes even killing them. As he gets older he learns he doesn't even have to bite his victims, but he does have to be close to them.

It'd probably take years before he forgave Nina. Matthias, like Inej, is religious and thinks Djel can't hear him anymore because of what's happened.

For awhile he can't see a positive to this situation. When he comes around to it and starts accepting it though, I think he'd enjoy that he's strong enough to continuously help people.

Negative is everything for a while. Especially the fact he can't be near any holy items. Also immortality. Human lives are supposed to end, now his can't end without it being extremely painful.

Feeding wouldn't be easy for him either. Not biting them allows him to disconnect but he still knows what he's doing and that's hard for him.

He eventually would forgive Nina but would never forget what happened.

His eyes would remain blue but it'd be a lighter and more glowy (?) blue

Doesn't wanna participate in any vampire stereotypes. No coffin, no dark colors, none of that.

His feeding is the most discrete. Jesper's could be too but we know him. Matthias just kind of hangs around and feeds until he's full enough.

Matthias also drinks the souls of animals. It doesn't feed him as quickly or make him as strong but he was already a big and strong guy.

Overall is not having a good time. I think it would take years for him to accept his new life. After that, he's not exactly happy. He's just accepted it is what it is.

Wylan Van Eck

Wylan had a terrible relationship with his father, we know that. What everyone didn't know was that the family was holding a huge secret; Jan Van Eck was a vampire. He was turned after Alys became pregnant and thought things were great. Now he could be an asshole forever

Van Eck noticed how much better he felt so he thought if he bit Wylan, he'd be cursed of his dyslexia and could read.

He was wrong. Dyslexia isn't a physical injury so nothing happened. This made him angry and ended up leading him to hire people to kill Wylan on the boat to Ketterdam. As we know, Wylan escaped. Van Eck was sure he'd die because of lack of food or be exposed and killed. Either was good to him.

Wylan didn't die though. Wylan had only been a vampire for a month so his control over his thirst was terrible. He didn't wanna hurt people so he tried to stay away and hunt animals.

Not hurting people was easier said than done though. Ketterdam is full of people and jobs require you being around people. As you can imagine, there were a few slip ups.

Kaz recruited him not only to make bombs but also because Inej caught him feeding on someone. He just didn't notice she was there.

Once Wylan has his thirst under control, he prefers blood bags instead of actually hunting and hurting people.

He isn't sure what his favorite part of vampirism is since the things he loves doing (chemistry and music) don't require any vampire things. He likes telepathy once he knows how to block his own thoughts from people. It's efficient being able to “whisper” to other people and Wylan is a bit nosey. When you're gonna live forever, you're gonna wanna hear drama.

I think his least favorite part wouldn't be a specific part of vampirism. He'd just hate how he used to be. Whenever he thinks about how little control he had, it'd scare him. It shows how much of a monster he can be and he doesn't want that.

I wanna give everyone red eyes but I'll say his are orange or yellow. Why? Idk.

The type of vampire that legit forgets he's a vampire. Inej is like “want me to bring you back something to eat?” and he's like “oh sure. I heard this new spot just opened-”.

Probably was gonna walk outside for a casual walk and another Crow had to grab him by the collar and pull him inside.

“What's wrong?” “Wylan. The sun.” “What about it?.... oh”

This isn't me saying he's dumb, he just genuinely forgets. His mind is on other stuff all the time.

Vampires become his hyper fixation and he starts saying random ass myths about vampires at all hours

“Did you know people used to believe that you could trick a vampire by throwing things like rice at it? Supposedly it'd be compelled to count them all” “It’s 2am Wylan. Enough is enough”

Overall I don't think he has a strong opinion on being a vampire. Having his little family makes enjoying this new life easier.

idk why this in particular finally gave me inspiration, but FINALLY my mind isn’t completely blank.

Somewhere comfortable where the two of you aren't stressed out. I feel like the one thing that is absolutely killing him is stress and knowing that you deal with stress too. He needs to know that you're doing okay and would love that to be the future between the two of you <3

You have to order his happy meal for him. I think we know the answer to this one. He may be a strong dude, but like, he's definitely the lil baby in the relationship

This man, as we know, has some anger issues. Because of this, when he gets pissed at you, he stays pissed at you for a while tbh. Like he isn't just angry at you but at himself and he feels like he can't recover from the argument. He just feels like an asshole who hurt an angels feelings. I think you would have to initiate the forgiveness if you aren't too upset. During the argument he would probably get way too pissed off and start shouting and then he realizes he fucked up and avoids you. Let him know that everything is fine and he will be better <3

He is very grateful that you are here with him. You have helped him through a lot and to return that, he helps you through a lot. Oh, absolutely. You made him less angry and pent up. He had a lot of internal problems that affected him externally and you were able to help him through a lot of that

YES YES YES! Like I just feel like he'll get really self conscious when he sees you laughing or smiling with someone else. It's hard for him to be super confident, so seeing you around someone he thinks is better looking than him or something can really make him upset. To deal with it, he ignores it as best as possible and gets angy

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Oh hell yeah. I think at first, like the first kiss that you had after a nice dinner, he didn't know what to do. You kissed him and he didn't really know that there was a rule where he had to kiss back, so he was still as a statue. But after he got the hand of it, he is an AMAZING kisser. Very soft lips 10/10

I think the two of you were reading or something at the library and he passed you a note that said: I like you. We should hang out. Shortly after, the two of you started dating

tbh, I really don't know. I think the idea appeals to him, but at the same time, he really enjoys where you guys are. He would have to think about it a lot down the road. But if he were to propose, it would be in private and I think he would prefer to get eloped.

Simple stuff like honey or darling or dear, but all in Italian

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

He smiles a lot more. Like especially around you. He just has a constant little smile on his lips and it's really cute. It's kind of obvious to others, especially close friends since he acts relatively different, which isn't a normal Fugo thing, so they totally make fun of him. To express his feelings, he always tells you how much he loves you and it really means a lot

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

PDA is a big no for him I think. He prefers kisses and stuff privately. The most he'll do is kiss you in a park or something, but never in public. Like holding hands is a sometimes thing, but yeah he really doesn't like showing off his relationship in public

Q uirk - Some random ability they have that's beneficial in a relationship.

Lots of care and understanding. He will give you space when you need it and always provide what you need when you need it

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

I don't really think he's romantic or creative in any of these aspects. I feel like he just treats the relationship as it is. Sure, he'll take you on dates, but it's never anything crazy. It's more calm than anything

He is always there to help. He will drop anything to help you out. He is your biggest supporter because dreams to him are very important. So know that he's always got your back

He is definitely more routine. He needs to have his day go the way he plans because it makes his life easier. It's nice though because you have become a part of his routine <3

He is VERY understanding. He knows you very well, so he knows when something is up or when you need space or even when you need him by your side. He is more than caring and you don't even need to ask him for things, he'll just be there

You definitely mean a lot to him, but sometimes, he will put the others like Bruno in front of you. They have gotten him out of the worst of stuff, so he definitely holds them on a pedestal, but if you understand, that makes him very happy

He always smells really good so when you hug him, he gives off this lovely sweet smell that you can't get enough of. It's like strawberry shortcake and vanilla

Not really. He prefers getting that kind of love from you, he won't really start any cuddles or anything

Y earning - How will they cope when they're missing their partner?

You are a big part of his routine, so when you're gone, he has to reorganize EVERYTHING and that pisses him off so much. It takes him a while to get back on track without eyebags, but eventually things for him will get back to normal until you come back.

Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lenghts for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

He's not a huge risk taker, so no. If you don't want the relationship anymore, he will understand and that's that. He will fight for you and protect you at all costs for sure, but if you really feel like things are over, it will end

Cut for insanely long vent/rant and also questioning my place in the twomp fandom ( if u wanna skip 2 that go 2 the green part)

I feel like I haven't made a big enough contribution to the twomp fandom. Like I get that I am certainly not 'celeb level' famous like an, pax or macha. And I'm not asking to be! But it seems like I used to be mentioned every once in a while in twomp posts, and now my twomp posts are being reblogged more often, but other than that nobody really interacts with me... Idk I feel like I'm being selfish, but I've been at Tumblr since April of 2023 and I don't really have a place in the twomp fandom yet,, do I just have to make more posts? When do i get to be 'that person that is known for that'..?

And how do I change that? How do I make a contribution to the fandom? How do I get noticed? I'm not looking to cause any trouble, I don't want stigma..

I'm not asking for that much honestly.. am I? But I just want to have a place in the fandom, it's not the same if i'm just mindlessly posting about twomp, given attention (likes, reblogs, replies etc.) and then ignored. Have I not made a big enough contribution to the fandom to have a place in it? Am I really that forgettable?

Any twomp posts that I've made that have gotten 'famous' are just screenshots. Is that really all of my worth in the fandom.. screenshots? Usually I'm fine with just being a lurker in fandoms, but this is the only fandom I feel like I've made a contribution to and yet.. it's not much of a contribution..is it?

I see talented people post beautiful (and certainly better) fanart and I question if my art will ever be enough to be noticed like theirs is. I don't want to bring them down or anything, no, there are tons of underrated artists here that deserve more attention because they are also trying to make a contribution like me!

And yet, I'm also questioning my place in the fandom. Labratgurlz is on break from the fandom because of twompcord (and other drama), I'm in the server but don't know what's going on but I'm too scared to find out. The recent drama about meat man's user, the mpreg, (Is wide billy considered a controversial thing in the fandom?).. I look at my "contribution" and the fandom and I think: ' is it really worth it to keep going, and keep enjoying this? I am not acknowledged so it's not like anyone will notice my disappearance..." I feel like in a month or 2 the fandom will start being toxic and it would be better if I just left. But I'm too invested now. I started an art challenge and a fanfic and by god am I going to finish them. But it also feels like the fandom is slowly poisoning itself.

I feel selfish for asking to receive attention, in a pathetic post like this, but. Please interact with me, please tell me that I've done good enough and that I've made a good enough contribution to the fandom. Don't do it out of pity if, but- actually, if anyone were to praise me, not out of pity, they would have already done it. Oh god I'm spiralling into a hole of madness.

A/N: So sorry for taking so long on this! I wanted to write a little more than just a Drabble for Jed since I never get to write for him! I love him so much. All versions of Leatherface I am in love with, I swear LMAO Also super glad that you sent this in since I miss writing for the slasher fandom. I'm just super picky with the characters that I wanna write for at certain times if that makes sense? Idk, but thank you bestie 🫶

Pairing: Jedediah Sawer (2017) x Reader

Warnings: Canon Typical Violence, Gore, Blood, Severe Injury, Trauma, Let me know if I need to add anything else!

Blood.

There was so much of it. Dripping from the side of his face. Pooling in his mouth and exiting through the side of his face. He was almost unrecognizable - hell, if it weren't for Mama saying his name you would have never known it was him. Even without the giant wound on the side of his face. You hadn't seen him since he was ripped from his family. Your family.

You weren't blood-related, but the Sawyers took you in since you were Jed's best friend. The two of you practically did everything together when you were little. A part of Mama hoped that if Jed were to come back. Maybe you would help spark his memory of his family.

Your family was never the best. Your Ma had left you and your Pa when you were little. Your Pa was a drunken fool, drinking himself to death by the time you were 17. The Sawyers were all you had.

The screaming made you flinch as you tended to Jed's wounds. Sure, you were half used to it by now. This wasn't exactly your first rodeo, but you couldn't help but feel so on edge with the state your best friend was in. Plus, the factor is that he might not even remember you. What if he thought you replaced him? What if he hated you for some reason? What if things weren't the same as they were twenty-some years ago?

He stared at you with such a piercing gaze. It made your stomach lurch. Earlier food threatened to come back up with how nervous you felt. "Am I hurtin' you?" You asked with such a soft and fragile voice. If he wasn't in so much shock with everything going on he might've cried at just the sound of it. He missed you. Not a day went by that he didn't think about you.

He shook his head 'no,' while keeping his eyes locked on yours. He stared at you with such a mix of awe and shock. You weren't real, were you? This was just another hallucination of his. Like the many, he had daydreamed in his cell or the lunch hall back at the hospital.

You flinched once more at another loud shout from Drayton and this time Jed reacted.

The man before you reached up to cup the side of your face. Redirecting your gaze to his own like he did so many times when you were both younger. "All eyes on me, that's it, breathe," he used to tell you. He couldn't talk now, but you knew he was thinking it by the way he was looking at you.

"You remember?" You blurted, biting your lip to hide how it threatened to tremble. A wave of emotion after emotion washing over you. Relief, fear, anger, sadness, it was almost too much for you.

He nodded his head, gurgling something that you couldn't comprehend. Shushing him with a soft smile. "Jed, ya gotta rest your mouth. Don't talk," you told him, even against how much you wanted to hear his voice. You wondered how much had it changed since you last heard it. From the deepness of just him humming and muttering you could tell it changed quite a lot. You supposed your own had, too.

"I missed you," you told him. This time a tear did escape. Something about you admitting that you missed him just broke him. A few more tears rolled down his face while he nodded frantically. His hand ran through your hair while his eyes scanned over every inch of your face. It was almost like he finally realized you were actually here. That you were with him and he actually had you back for once. It was nice not having to pretend that he knew what you looked and sounded like now.

"Jed, honey, yer gift is ready," Mama called, and the both of you departed from one another to meet her in the other room.

That night was rough for him and you could tell. Pacing, screaming, crying. He couldn't sleep, and you got to hear it all from the confinements of your own room. It wasn't until you heard something clash that you raced out of your room and towards the basement.

"Jed," you called out as you knocked on his door. Shuffling from inside the room came to a halt and you rocked from foot to foot anxiously.

"Jed," you called out again. Your voice was laced with more worry than before. "Jed, answer me, are you okay?" You spoke, and he could hear the worry in your voice. He ran his hands through his hair with guilt and fear.

Why were you still here? Why were you even talking to him? He was hideous. His face wasn't even his own anymore. It was ripped and jagged. It was as broken as he felt. He wished he could tell you to go away, but nothing other than a distressed grunt left his throat. He couldn't move his jaw without a paralyzing pain shooting through his head.

His startled noise made you frown. Waiting for a few seconds before you finally answered again. “You shouldn’t be alone tonight.”

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He'd laugh if he could. He hadn't had anyone care like that for him since - well, he couldn't even remember. Since Mama did when he was little, he supposed.

"Look, I just want you to know I'm here for you," you continued, and he took a step closer to the door. "Jed, I never stopped caring about you." Another step. "Even if it has been over a decade, hell, almost two. I never stopped. None of us did, we love you," you prayed he wasn't at the door as you muttered the final bit. "I'll always love you," he was right at the door, though. Eyes wide and watery at the words that left your mouth.

He'd never felt so loved before. He couldn't remember the last time he felt supported by anyone. The nights in the hospital were so long and grim. Bud was the only comfort that he had, and he was ripped from him just like you and his family were so many years before. Just he couldn't get Bud back like he got you all back.

He wished he was someone different, sometimes. That he was just some guy living in the world. Struggling with bills, and maybe a cat or two. With an overworking job that made him want to fall off the face of the earth. Not the crippling disorders that he suffered from daily.

The 'monsters in my head' as he would tell his nurse.

The door opened and you took a step back. Giving yourself room to look at Jed with more space between the both of you. He didn't lift his head to look at you. His eyes fixated on the ground while you both stood there in silence. That was until you broke it.

You took a step closer. Cautiously toeing the ground and watching how he reacted to you getting closer. If you saw any signs of him growing uncomfortable with your presence, you would step further away. You'd leave if he asked. You'd do anything for the man in front of you. All you wanted was to make him feel at home again. For him to finally feel like he's himself and not someone else. Not Jackson, but Jedediah Sawyer.

"Can I come in?" He didn't answer. He only stepped to the side to allow you into the room with him. Shutting the door once you were inside with him.

Your eyes scanned the basement. The broken mirror that you assumed was the source of the noise that had you running down there in the first place. You instinctively headed for the glass to begin picking up the shards so he wouldn't happen to step on them, but he stopped you.

His hand was on your wrist pulling you back. When you turned your head to look at him you finally saw the mask on his face. It was the woman that he killed earlier that night, and you were unsure what to say at first. He let out a muffled noise. He sounded scared, maybe worried? Was he worried you didn't like it? You had to admit, you wished it was someone else's face, but if that's what he liked. Who were you to judge when you've quite literally eaten people before.

"You look beautiful, don't worry," you told him and he seemed to relax. "Maybe you could do my makeup sometime," you half-joked with a smile, but the spark in his eye made you reconsider the joke as a genuine proposition.

The two of you stood there for a moment longer. Eyes anxiously looking around as if to search for words to say. Or actions to do. It had been so long since the two of you had spoken. What was either of you even to say or do?

"Did you want to try and sleep?" You asked, and he sighed. Turned his head towards the bed, then back to you. Shaking his head with a sluggish 'no.' You frowned at that. You pulled your wrist from him in order to put your hand in his. You kept the grip loose in case he wanted to pull away from the action.

He didn't, though. If anything, he wished he had you holding all of him. To be engulfed by you is all he wanted right now.

"Why don't you want to?" You asked, and he looked down. "Bad dreams?" You asked another question, and he nodded a 'yes' this time. "What if I lay down with you?" He peaked up at this. Curious eyes looked over your face as if to see if you were joking around, but all he saw was genuineness. "You like that idea?" You questioned, and reluctantly, he nodded. It sounded amazing to him. At the moment at least.

Jed allowed you to drag him to bed. He felt like you were both eight again. Hanging out in his room while you both sluggishly moved towards the bed on a hot summer day to lay down and take an afternoon nap. All of Jed's chores were done giving him all the time to sleep in that creaky bed. You'd both start out on your back or sides. Soon a tangle of limbs while you both seeked out comfort in one another's touch. Unless it was a particularly hot day. Then you always seemed to be pushing him away from you since even on the hottest of days he always seeked out your touch.

But now you were both grown. You were older, and so was he. The both of you mature. He felt even more awkward now than he ever did as a kid around you. He almost wished he still had some of his boyish-carefree-attitude left. Now he was scared of you, almost. You were even more attractive than he ever remembered you being. Which was saying a lot, since Jed always assumed you were an angel that graced his farm.

When you crawled into the bed you beckoned him to come lay with you. The man stood beside it for a moment. Fidgeting with his hands before he finally climbed in beside you.

His hands were glued to his side. Lying on his back with his eyes fixated on the ceiling. Dragging over each crease and crevice above you. What did you even feel like anymore? Were you as soft as your face was when he held it earlier? He cringed at the thoughts that coursed his brain. Thankful for his mask that hid the blush that swam over his face.

"Jed, you can touch me, you know?" you told him, and he felt his body curling in on itself. He felt like an armadillo. He wished he was one. Able to roll up and hide away in his shell from the embarrassment that was coursing him. This was a mistake, it had to be.

His chest was beginning to heave as he lay there frozen beside you. He felt trapped like his arms and legs were restrained. It was like being trapped in the chairs at the hospital all over again. Jed thrashing and screaming as they shocked him or injected him with only God knows what.

His body began to tremble, whimpering while tears began forming in his eyes. You felt your heart sinking at his reaction. Maybe you were a little too blunt and bold with your words and actions. You should have just left the room after you figured out he was all right.

You sat up to assess him better. A gentle hand was placed on the side of his face while you scanned his eyes with yours. "Jed, look at me," you called out, and he shot up. His head nearly coming to meet your own. An accident that would have you both crying out in pain.

Your hands left his body. Scooting away from him in case he wanted to leave or kick you out. "I can go," you told him, but he shouted a blubber of gibberish while shaking his head. "All right, I'll stay, just breathe, look at me, please." You told him, noticing how he began taking shallower breaths after you spoke. He sat there staring at his hands for a few minutes before he finally looked at you.

"There's my handsome Jed," you told him. Jed eased up at the praise. Bashful eyes darting to the side before he looked back at you. "No one's going to hurt you again, okay?" he only stared at you. He wanted to nod his head and agree, but he was scared that'd be a lie. "I won't let anyone hurt you again, not while I'm alive." you reached out to brush some of the hair from his forehead with slow and careful movements. Smiling at the way his eyes fluttered shut with just the small bit of touch.

You finally laid back down on the bed, reaching out to the other with a small smile. "Wanna try this again?" You hummed, and he nodded. You weren't going anywhere, and hearing you say he was safe seemed to reassure him more than anything else in the world did.

Jed finally laid down. His head rested on your chest while he listened to the steady rhythm of your heart and breathing. He swallowed thickly before allowing himself to relax. His hands holding you while fidgeting with your shirt or the bare skin that they found. Your arm around his torso and the other with your hand playing in his hair had him melting against you. He felt safe. You made him feel safe.

His eyes fell shut. Falling asleep to the feeling of your fingers running through his hair while massaging his scalp. A motion that had him easing into total bliss. The beat of your heart was a lullaby that shushed him to sleep.

He never wanted to be alone again.

Idk, but this is living free on my head and i just thought about it. I don't know if this request or not. Or maybe HC. But, Law as Howl from Howl moving castle. Like, maybe he got his surgeon power from magic or something, and decide to take his heart out because it's have heavy burden? Maybe he doesn't wanna feel anything and already hurt himself too bad since Corazon died. And he grew up as handsome man but also cold.

Idk, you can continue the headcanon XD

I love this movie with all my heart!! And this HC made me rewatch this movie, thank you so much. I'm not so good with HCs, this one turned out quite long, but I think I expressed my ideas well. ugh i really want to write more about it later

Law would definitely have a feud with Doflamingo (who is a very powerful and sadistic wizard) precisely because of Rosinante, maybe Doflamingo is even the cause of a war. Rumors of the Surgeon of the Death would spread throughout the country, people would say, "Law will take you to his castle and steal your heart!" and I imagine Law's castle to be an earthly version of the Polar Tang, yellow and full of gadgets on the outside, but empty and dusty on the inside.

I was thinking of Law living alone, but I'm really tempted by the idea of Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin playing the role of Markl and being Law's assistants (or maybe just Bepo? but I imagine Law saving all 3 somewhat as he did in his Light Novel).

Unlike Howl, Law doesn't make a deal with a demon; he just used his powers to remove his heart in exchange for not feeling the pain of losing Rosinante anymore. However, since he could easily die if his heart were attacked, he keeps it constantly moving in his castle, which uses his heart to move.

Since wizards without their own hearts slowly become monsters, Law thought he could use this to get stronger and fight Doflamingo, without thinking much about how he would slowly lose his humanity and never return to who he was since his feelings had practically been torn away with his own heart.

Until he meets you. I would change Law's powers a bit just to recreate that iconic scene when they walk in the air (and he's a wizard!! His powers are not limited to surgeries, but definitely focused). He would be running away from Doflamingo's magical henchmen and find you being harassed by soldiers. He definitely only helps you thinking he can use you to escape (we're talking about a man without a heart here!), but it doesn't work out so well, and he uses magic to escape with you walking in the air (he still has a bit of a sense of justice)

"Don't be dramatic", if you're scared. "Just look ahead and walk as if you're on the ground, or I'll drop you", this shouldn't be a threat; he just didn't have enough energy to carry both of you in the air, but his tone of voice certainly sounded rude.

He suspects when he finds you again in his castle, scared for being attacked by Doflamingo (that damn guy thought you were challenging him, you know, sadistic stuff), but only believes you when he sees the paper in your pocket, with that cheeky and cut grin, but he's still suspicious.

He denies your request for help, you try to negotiate and say you'll help with the cleaning, but he denies that too. Then you just sigh and say that with this curse, you can't go back to your normal life.

Tired, Law just accepts that you can stay if you really keep your promise to help with the cleaning.

You end up making friends with his assistants, who are more than happy to have someone to help clean, as the 4 of them were not at all organized, and the place is a complete mess.

Law cries when he realizes you cleaned the small room that hid his heart and even removed the thick layer of dust covering the blue film that protected it; the place became brighter and easier to enter without all that dirt. He doesn't even understand why he's crying; everyone gets confused and worried when he starts melting into a puddle of yellow goo, but you just ask them to fill the bathtub with hot water.

After that, Law becomes a bit more present during meals, and even talks more with you. The change in his mood, always so down, is obvious, but you prefer not to comment on anything to avoid making him uncomfortable.

Slowly, he began to feel more comfortable with the idea of having feelings when joy filled his castle, but still too scared to take back his heart.

The turning point comes when Law realizes that it's becoming increasingly difficult to return to his human form, and at some point in the next few days, he probably won't be able to return anymore. The fear of feeling that weight on his chest again is too much, but Law still wants to be human; he wants… to love.

He would probably postpone as much as possible to put his heart back in his chest, thinking that he would be too weak to fight Doflamingo this way. He still wants to protect you all; that's why he doesn't want to tell you what's happening to avoid worrying you.

This selfish little shitty brat would only get his heart back at a very critical moment (probably when he's near death lol) and when he realizes that he doesn't have to fight alone to protect everyone, especially when Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin are his wizard apprentices, and when he also realizes that you wouldn't be happy to see him die for you when he could save himself and save his own humanity.
