i do also think it's just a bit disingenuous to be like "well even if all the female characters are one-dimensional people love one-dimensional male characters all the time!" as if women are allowed to have dimensions as interesting as guys in a lot of media. if a villain of the week guy's one dimension is "he's a sneaky evil guy" he probably at least Does Shit. he might scheme, or stalk, have a creepy quirk or otherwise act upon the plot and characters in a way that is memorable and interesting even if he's only in an episode and a half. a woman whose one dimension is "bubbly mother" could be in fifty+ episodes and do a grand total of Fuck All, because a lot of one-dimensional roles for women are about supporting the men/their partners or families/getting threatened or murdered/otherwise not having agency and not being allowed to do anything exciting or fun

and yes sometimes people are inclined to read women characters as being shallow even when objectively they're not but lbr we're not having this discussion in the first place bc there's an overabundance of deep intricate well-written women side-characters in media

I feel like there's a pattern when it comes to women I fall head over heels for... but I can't just put my finger on it...

You know? There's gotta be something there...

this is the hotel pic- I took the cape off before going to the event. Made more sense practically, but did make the headpiece make less sense lmao...

okay funny story tho cuz my friend, who is not a Stevetony, decided first she wanted to go, and then I decided yeah why not after lol. But she decided first she was gonna do a Cap look with her ElHoffler sweater, and I would have done an Iron Man look anyway, but it was like owo well~
