One thing the North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra has been getting me to see is “boundaries” aren’t really about how many people you can shut out, or how quick you can be to shut someone out at the first sign that they could maybe be problematic. I’ve lost out on many opportunities to learn from people and to receive love or support, doing this in my past.
No, healthy boundaries are something you have to be willing to work on within relating. By all means, if someone clearly purposely screws you over, turn your back on them and never look back. But if you’ve been taken advantage of a lot in the past, you might be prone to seeing potential toxicity someone will bring into your world, where it doesn’t actually exist.
I’ve learned that pushing away people before even actually learning what they’re about is not a flex. Also I’m no longer worried about being open to someone who turns out to have tendencies I can’t be around. Because I’m now confident that I can utilize boundaries other than just never letting anyone into my world in the first place. (And I had to be willing to be open to interacting with more people again to even be able to practice this.)
What a lesson truly synthesizing Aries and Libra. My boundaries these days are starting to feel so much more productive for me and I’m grateful. 🙏

sun on the north node (opposite south node)
an aspect like this guides you from your karma toward your fate, wherever it is you are going, whatever destiny you have made for yourself or been granted. you get the chance to step out of what you have been, into what you'd prefer to be. the sun is like the light at the end of your tunnel.

The Difference Between Rahu and Ketu lies in the Element of Fear.
Tumblr media
Ketu is fearless. Its wisdom lies in minimalism, and knowledge that this Universe relies on patterns and thus you will never lack anything forever. As a result, there is no fear of loss in that area, through subconscious awareness that areas of Ketu house will certainly manifest again even after heavy losses. As a result, because of such an open energetic flow, manifestations occur even more easily.
Rahu is fearful. Rahu is where we gorge, because we act as if every second could be our last. Rahu has a "do or die" mentality, pursuing its desire in intensity having root in anxiety. However, a refined Rahu has and advantage of complexity and finesse of form, when it turns anxiety into responsibility. A matured Rahu replaced fear with preparation, knowing how to provide oneself with what one desires through either creating the thing itself or opportunities for it.

[the astrology of pedro pascal] - soft mercury aspects (major) | mercury trine north node
Tumblr media
hey y’all! in this series we’ll be covering major soft/positive aspects (conjunctions, sextiles, and trines) to pedro’s mercury. he doesn’t have any major hard mercury aspects outside of the square to his moon, or any minor positive aspects, but the minor hard aspects he has will be covered in an upcoming series, as well as the rest of the major and minor aspects to the rest of his planets and asteroids in his chart! i also want to note that when it comes to these aspects, they have to be examined through the lens of the entire chart, as they’re influenced by a myriad of factors within it.
disclaimers | masterlist | ask
Tumblr media
mercury trine north node (within 5.4°)
in this aspect, the planetary body and the lunar nodes are harmonious and their energies are naturally and positively expressed. mercury represents our mental processes, and the faculties of the mind. it governs how we communicate our thoughts and ideas as well as our intellect, and how we think and learn. in vedic astrology, the lunar nodes are representative of reincarnation, past life karma, our desire and destiny, and our soul’s mission. the north node demonstrates where and how one may fight and potentially over-exert themselves to find success in the material world, while the south node shows where and how we may “lose” what we’ve created on our path to spiritual liberation.
with mercury trine the NN, one’s soul path is directly linked to matters of the mind and communication. these natives may find fulfillment in avenues of teaching and mentorship, or more creative industries such as writing, singing, or any form of performing arts. since youth, they may have had an innate ease in self-expression, even if it wasn’t something that was encouraged by those in their environment. they’re naturally inclined to be open-minded and receptive to the ideas and philosophies they encounter, as this can grant them innovative ways to approach their goals and fulfill their soul’s purpose.
these individuals are typically loved and respected by others, as they’re gifted communicators and connect with those around them easily, they tend to come across as knowledgeable and influential. their creativity seamlessly leads them to advance towards their goals. although, they should be working towards consistently broadening their ideas and opinions, as there’s a default ”ease” that comes along with trines that can lead to passivity in areas of the native’s life and personality. they should also be conscious of how they communicate with others as well, as there is the potential to be too blunt or straightforward at times and turn people away.
the signs the planet and the nodes are placed in are also significant, like i mentioned in the sun trine NN post, pedro’s NN is in sagittarius while his SN is in gemini, and his mercury is in pisces. for those with these nodal placements, their life’s purpose may be very jupiterian in nature. they have an innate desire to express themselves, and to expand their range of thinking to find a deeper understanding of themselves and others. there could also be an aversion to being wrong or feeling “wronged” by others. with mercury in pisces, there’s a tendency to romanticize the thoughts and ways of communicating.
this can manifest similarly to pedro’s mercury conjunct jupiter aspect as well, as there may be natural understanding of subjects that seem “illogical” to others such as spirituality or the subconscious mind. with the lunar nodes at play, this aspect will manifest as the native’s passion surrounding these subjects being intrinsically linked to the soul’s mission. in pedro’s case, he may benefit from exploring his own spirituality or the subconscious parts of his psyche, as well as exploring this side of other people. this could result in growth in terms of relationships, both intimate and platonic, as his connection to others may grow stronger and more beneficial for both himself and others.
overall, it would benefit these natives to reflect on how their intellect and connection to others can lead them, and society, towards growth. they enjoy analyzing their own traits and habits, and depending on the rest of their chart, may not have much difficulty in accepting constructive criticism. they may need to find balance between exploring their own innovative, creative ideas, while staying conscious and receptive to the influence of other people’s beliefs.
as always, if anyone has any of the placements or aspects mentioned in this post i’d love to hear how it personally manifests in your own life and how it impacts your personality, or if anyone has anything to add in general feel free to reach out and let me know!

We have 3 planets in Scorpio rn (the Sun, Mercury, Mars) and I'm seeing way more graphic videos and somehow gruesome content about Gaza - imo it's not even a bad thing because you cannot comprehend how horrendous what's happening is without that and Zionists' lies are exposed.
Scorpio season is always about exposing more truth even if it's uncomfortable af, even if it's dark and raw and that's good that more and more people are realizing how what's happening in Palestine as a whole is far from normal - that's how you initiate actual changes.
Pluto squaring the Nodes for months (starting that intense journey back in march) and that aspect finally ending is also showing us all we have to do in order to not repeat the darkest times of history and how we can do better than that - we owe it to every oppressed group 🇵🇸❤️.
Also witnessing boycotts of major companies is very on brand for Scorpio energy (and it's nice to see the solidarity rn) : Scorpio won't ever support someone or something they hate, that is hurting their loved ones or that is evil generally speaking - and that's what the collective is experiencing rn.
Saturn is gonna station direct very soon (November, 4) and imo it could show even more mutual aid for palestinians, maybe actual international sanctions/that awaited cease-fire - just something actually working in order to save them and end that barbary we're witnessing.

So I have the weirdest synastry with this guy I'm obsessed with, like I'm so attracted to him it’s insane (he’s also three years older than me) but I don't know if he feels the same way
My rising sign conjuncts his mars and squares his pluto and eros, my mars squares his Pluto and his mars and sun conjuncts my south node, his lilith conjuncts my venus and his uranus trines my venus. And his mars is also opposite my uranus and my mars trines his venus. Also his mars trines my sun…I don’t know what this means tho.
Does this mean he finds me attractive or am I the one who’s more obsessed???
Tumblr media
Mars / Pluto / Lilith Synastry
These are some very powerful planets in some strong aspects lol. The Mars/Pluto ( + Eros ) aspects to the ascendant can feel like chemistry at first sight, like it was inevitable. With his Mars conjuncting your Ascendant, his energy and passion can feel like it's becoming yours too.
The orgins of your obssession may stem from his Mars and Sun being conjunct with your south node (and by extension, opposition with the north node.) The south node is your past life, what you're used to/comfortable with. And with your opposition north node aspects, he can feel like a missing piece of the puzzle for you on your life journey.
And his Lilith conjuncting your Venus will reel him in. The appeal and attraction with this placement is actually insane. Once you got him reeled in, he may feel like leaving or abandoning you is like leaving a piece of himself behind. He'll probably be OBSESSED with you as much as you are to him.
HOWEVER, if things go south between yall, the conflict could be intense, or even life threatening. Strong Mars/Pluto/Lilith aspects in synastry imply a lot of intensity and energy into whatever you guys do together. So while this could mean in bed or devotion to each other, it can also mean fights and arguments.
So I think you guys should just dip your toes in and test the waters before taking a deep dive, so you can feel out each other's energies and intensity.

𝕹𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖍 𝕹𝖔𝖉𝖊 𝖎𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 12𝖙𝖍 𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖘𝖊:
Now this one is really interesting, as I myself have wondered for a long time how to describe NN in the 12th house. I once read an article on by Alice Sparkly Kat, that 12th house NN often shows in the use of time. It does make a lot of sense. Coming from the 6th house SN, the part weve already integrated, we find ourselves accustomed and used to the life of daily crisis. Inserting in the mundane comes naturally to us. the 12th house is the part of ourselves most people have to actively channel since it's represent the subconscious, the isolated, things that don't occure to us when we are focused on our job, our morning routine, washing the dishes, etc. I feel that Norh Node in the 12th can feel a lack of dreams and time. They can quiet literally often feel the defeat to the mundane and the reality creep up on them, as there is other things to prioritize. The 12th house talks about isolation and isolation can't happen easily when you are fixed in your routine, when you are finding yourself having to overcome the challenges and little battles of the day to day life. North Node in the 12th can talk about the absence of time, the absence of dreams, fantasy and wonder. So you take your time to dream. You use your time and the little moments you can steal to tap into yourself and find moments of sudden and inner catharsis, moments that allow you to realize there's more to life than the mundane. Whatever you find out and channel, whatever you get out of it, you translate it into a language you (and possibly others) can understand, you integrate it in your life. Maybe loudly, maybe quietly, but you'll realize that you channeled something from deep within.
The 12th-6th house axis talks about physical and mental health as well. The 6th house is the crisis, the 12th house is what happens after the crisis. It's healing. So ultimately, we can feel a lack of healing, moments of quiet that we can take to release the troubles of the 6th house and move on or find peace. So ultimately it's the solitide and healing we have to make time for, no matter how this may look like to everyone else. North Node in the 12th house is a lot about healing and being a sign of the possibilities that we are ought to overcome struggles and that there is inherent inner wisdom and accumulated one.
North Node in the 12th house can feel like their dreams and desires are too big for this life, there's just not enough space and time to fit it all in. One has to learn to prioritize the part of them that seemingly can't fit into the 9 to 5 routine. It's true, you find 12th house NN natives figuring out their preciour, secluded times and spaces that they reserve only for them in order to be fully with and by themselves.

𝕸𝖆𝖗𝖘 𝖎𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 12𝖙𝖍 𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖘𝖊:
Okay there's two sides to this as we talk about an absence of Martian themes; how Mars in the 12th influences the body and feelings of desire, anger and emotion, as well a how these feelings are translated and manifested into action.
Often, these people have a sideways or inconsistent approach. This can go from reaching some sort of goal, handling conflict or pursuing someone. There can be a disconnect with the body, a lack of body awareness, might be why I see many 12th house Mars natives eventually getting in some sort of sport or at least doing excercise to get in touch with their body and feeling it. They kinda have to get back into their body, re-connecting with it. This can also be helpful to allow them to feel and express assertion of any kind. Especially the image of their body looking strong can make them feel stronger, and help them get back the assertion and strength they had troubles attaining. Sexuality is really complicated, but I do think that this can also be positive when it comes to getting back in touch with their sexuality and sensuality, just as much as Venus in the 12th can have troubles getting comfortably back in touch with this part of themselves. Again, with the 12th house, these people have to access Martian qualities over other ways, because they don't come naturally to them.
At worst they fall for the abuse of drugs that only take them further away from their body (12th house natives should pay attention to build a healthy way of using drugs if they are interested in the use of them). The thing here is that they need to find ways (at best a routine) that help them connect the mind and emotions with the body, to rebuild a natural flow. There can also be an absence of possibilities or allowance to let out anger; this person can feel trapped inside the body, or unfortunately find themself victim to the boundarieless anger and aggression of others. They can find themselves playing out aggression and assertion in their mind and with their mind, instead of channeling it into (healthy!) action.
Often times due to this disconnect from body and mind and a lack of expression, there's trouble of tackling ones fears, as well as finding a way to pursue desired goals, they can seem unreachable. Thre's a lot of times feelings of shame and inferiority, which can be often found in people with 12th hosue placements. These people need to realize what they want and why, if not, they can have a very inconsistent and sideway/passive approach to their desires, that'll eventually not get them far or at least it takes them a lot of time, because they have troubles realizing what they want or standing up for their goals and overcoming any fears.
There can also be outer influences that influence this negatively. The absence of desires and assertion can come from people projecting their dreams onto the 12th house Mars native, the individuals can find themself being in the role of support and giving their vitality and strength to others instead to the self. Therefore they can have troubles with feeling selfish, having to pour energy into others instead of themself. In general, Mars 12th house people can experience toughness/aggression and ambition like no other, because they often find themselves having to thoroughly disect and feel these concepts out.
The thing with Mars in the 12th house is finding your own way of becoming a fighter. You redefine the way of fighting, overcoming your fears and pursuing desires, by finding non conventional ways and ideas.

Space Did Something Cool
youtube
So, not only are eclipses really cool, they also come up a lot in JttW adjacent Fandom, like LMK, for various reasons. One is because if Sun Wukong's non-cannonical children from the ancient fanfic that counts as literature, Journey to the South. They are Yuebei Xing (Lunar Apogee), Jidu (South/Descending Lunar Node), and Luohou (North/Ascending Lunar Node). I've known about these characters and these terms for a couple months, but I didn't quite grasp what things like the nodes were until I saw this. Red has a knack for explaining things, so I recommend giving this a watch if you're confused. Or if you aren't. Watch more of her content, is what I'm saying.

Lunar nodes explained
The lunar nodes, also known as the North Node and South Node, are two points where the Moon's orbit intersects the Earth's orbit. In astrology, these points are believed to hold significant meaning and are used to gain insight into a person's life path.
The North Node represents the person's karmic path and future growth. It is associated with the traits and experiences that the individual needs to develop and embody in this lifetime in order to fulfill their destiny. The North Node represents the direction in which the person should aim to grow and evolve.
The South Node represents the person's past experiences, habits, and patterns. It is associated with the traits and experiences that the individual has already developed and embodied in past lives. The South Node represents the direction from which the person is coming from and can indicate areas in which they may need to let go of old patterns in order to move forward.
The sign and house placement of the lunar nodes in a person's birth chart can reveal important information about their life path and purpose. For example, a person with the North Node in the 10th house may have a destiny to achieve career success and public recognition, while a person with the South Node in the 7th house may need to let go of co-dependent relationships in order to move towards greater independence and self-reliance.
In addition to the natal chart, the position of the lunar nodes also changes over time, moving backwards through the zodiac in a cycle that takes approximately 18.6 years to complete. This cycle is known as the Nodal Return and is believed to bring significant changes and opportunities for growth in the areas represented by the nodes.

The transit South Node, in my experience, brings such beautiful healing. And it’s not like a Pluto transit where you have to be cracked completely open first. No, it’s more like just finally finding the strength to let go of a belief, habit or any other type of pattern in your consciousness that hasn’t been working out for you.
It’s funny because my natal South Node seems to be hell bent on keeping me sucked down in an unhealthy and very unproductive focus on its house. But transit South Node gets nothing but my praise, because its transit on my Moon and Pluto in Scorpio, followed by its current transit on my Black Moon Lilith in Libra, is really just the prescription I needed to help sweep away detrimental self beliefs and stubborn trauma responses that had been compromising my lunar security for ages. And I’m honestly struck by how graciously and almost painlessly it’s been managing to do it.
There is a lot of info out there saying South Node transits can bring the pain. But maybe if you’re someone whose consciousness tends to be in the past anyway, then the South Node can just provide assistance to help you finally let go of beliefs, responses or habits you’ve known for ages are no longer serving you. Maybe these transits are only painful if one has to be confronted with ways they weren’t even aware they needed to let go.
My 9th house Scorpio Moon no longer feels like it has a chokehold on the entire rest of my chart, due to the toxic self beliefs I learned from my nurturing. There is space to form new beliefs now. And my Black Moon Lilith in Libra can finally see herself as capable and worthy of being in loving partnership. This transit of the South Node has really shown me the face of my Lilith in her power; not the face of her when she abandons her power and self sabotages.
Anyone else have any observations about what the South Node in Libra, Scorpio (or any sign!) has done for them? The lunar Nodes can be such a critical force from all that I can see. They’re so worth paying attention to in transit, and especially if the Nodes are big in your chart or if you are a lunar person.

The most underutilized elements in a natal birth chart are the placement of the North and South Node (for everybody) and Chiron (especially if it's in aspect with one of the personal planets). The first is your personal alignment on the natal birth chart - like an arrow pointing from your south node to your north. And the second is how and why you are fucked up (we all are fucked up, so get over being upset about it).

mars trine south node (sextile north node)
what you desire also desires you. this is huge for manifestation, goals, 5-year plans, or lustful pursuits. these are the desires that come from fate. they are in some way beyond you or your free will, and yet it is your will that will fulfill them. but you have to go for it.

Hello! Does north node conjunct south node in Synastry (exact) can be karmic ?
Does it bring people together, in a romantic way ?
Yes this is absolutely karmic. Yes, it might bring two people together but I would say not for the long run. This is more of a relationship where you're taught something extremely important that has to do with your lunar node. Say your node was in Cancer, the other person could teach you to put family first in either a painful or graceful way. With only this aspect though, it's hard to say if the relationship would last/be romantic. All this tells me is that its karmic because there's lessons that need to be taught.

The South Node - An Area of Unfair Sacrifice
Tumblr media
The Nodes are where we pay an unfair price for a necessary exchange. It is where we offer an area of a given house in order to have any life progress and growth at all in the area of the opposite.
It takes a human incarnation years to redefine and correct the areas of the South Node, as early in life it is karmically out of our control. So we need to give up on this area in its traditional form, knowing it will never function in a way that is beneficial to us. That becomes particularly painful when there is a planet conjunct the South Node. These areas of life produce a feeling of lack, but it is a sacrifice necessary in order for one to be able to grow in the area of the North Node.
As much as the Nodes are both unstable in their own right, the North Node being friendly to Saturn, offers a stable, reliable progress over time, with effort, maturity and reflection put into it, mixed with its cutting edge, out of the box, freedom oriented mindset. The North Node inspires us to actually set a goal.
The South Node causes so much pain, because the South Node and Saturn are enemies. Saturn is strict, but fair. Saturn is an Earthly life regulator of being given the right opportunities. Saturn offers measurable steps, solutions and rewards, even if it comes with timidness and obstacles. The South Node is the sum total of our karma, that reaches down to past lives, and thus it is responsible for wreaking havoc on our lives in ways that are beyond logical, rational fixing. It requires a completely meditative, surrendered attitude. In extreme cases, it requires one to completely move away from the given planet/house area, or only do the absolute minimum if necessary for survival.
The South Node requires of us to achieve a level of Monkhood, even if on a small scale. Early in life, as we are unexperienced in dealing with that energy, we end up being taken advantage of, and we give ourselves away. A mature South Node instead isolates from all unwanted stimuli, not really taken excessively for oneself, but also setting healthy boundaries through distance. We can actually have gains from the South Node our whole lives, if we don't try to control them or approach them too much.
Only as we mature into our 40s, the Karma of the South Node lets up, giving us exactly what we needed, even if in minimal form, perfectly tailored to our needs. To give you a more tangible example of how the Karma of the South Node works, somebody with their South Node in the 7th house may have an impossible time finding a good life partner on a personal ground. They may have successful, working business relationships from a degree of distance. They may have long-distance online romances. Since their life karma wants them to focus on individuality, self discovery, self expression and independence, the North Node in the 1st house may inflate their ego. That is actually a positive phenomenon with this alignment. The native may find, that the more full of themselves they are, the more they invest in their own brand, the more they attract successful working partnerships. Nevertheless, true intimacy mixed with acceptance of the person's basic identity, remains out of reach.
As a result, this native gives up on their deep desire for a successful, intimate partnership. They adopt a mentality of "This is who I am, and I am going to be myself and express myself to the fullest, and I am not compromising anything for that. Anyone who approaches me, if they want to be close, must accept that, as I fully delve into discovering my individual self every day". Ironically, it is that attitude of complete self acceptance, that solidifies the person's character and teaches them not to compromise. Then, when the South Node karma lets up at its own designated time, sometime after 42, just as the native has completely surrendered to such a lifestyle and given up on one's desire even if deep down they hold it in their heart, they unexpectedly meet their perfect match. They receive exactly what they have been missing all along, after they have completely reinvented themselves.
The concept of unfairness related to the South Node comes from the fact, that prior to that time, the desire of the South Node house and any planet conjunct it, remains emotionally dissatisfying. Any time the native tries to pursue the matters of that house outright, especially on a more sensitive level, they will be denied. There will be no fairness, even with a delay as Saturn would want, no equal payback, no "rightness", only strife, that ensures the native is pushed back towards their North Node.
The difference in South Node functionality and planetary alignment in between charts is in the fact, that as much as it denies emotional satisfaction, a strong South Node is actually a stable support system. Using the example above, the person with South Node in the 7th house, if well functioning, will actually attract an array of partnerships to help them construct their own brand. They will always have somebody available. They may even be the kind, who marry exclusively for status and name, and agree to a level of distance in the marriage in order to advance themselves on a personal level. The other significator of South Node karma is how fast it lets up. The Nodal release starts according to Vedic classics at the age of 42, but a stronger holding, more karmic South Node will delay that progress into the native's 50s and beyond.
The best functioning South Node is one, that fully, naturally, embraces detachment early on in life and doesn't look back. Often, a strong North Node helps, as it gives one a measurable goal to strive for. A struggling South Node is extremely stuck in the past, which manifests as passing up opportunities when they appear, out of a desire to remain within one's comfort zone, being avoidant of the North Node.
Another, more unorthodox form of the South Node, is the aforementioned concept of monkhood. These are people, who completely embrace servile roles, completely ridding themselves of any earthly desire, choosing an ascetic life with no reward. That may be a necessity one is forced into due to extremely heavy past life karmas.
