kid asl + kid sanji + sabosan
ace and sabo being sweet to luffy in their own kid way and sanji seeing it and being like "oh :] ( :[ )"
but very quickly having that kindness extended to him (especially by sabo)
the brothers hunt the food and sanji cooks it
sabosan bonding over horrible noble families
This is so sweet,, My sweet boys :( I don't care if it doesn't make sense with the timeline or whatever, but Sanji ends up meeting them when they're kids. I always use this plot, but-- The Orbit gets stranded in Goa and of course, the kids find out because they're always waiting for pirates. So ASL finds Sanji and they won't stop asking questions about piracy and his life and telling him how excited they are to become pirates. Sanji is- Saying overwhelmed would be an understatement because imagine a kid like him hanging out with THEM. But he has so much fun, too, because it's been so long ever since he saw somebody his age and he's not used to hanging out with them but they welcome him with open arms. They tell him that they're brothers (Ace and Sabo fighting over who's the oldest, as usual) and explain to him the basics: Where they live, how they hunt for food, their training... And Sanji is just there, staring at them with eyes wide open, and asking how the hell they manage to live like this. Sanji has a bit of an attitude now in comparison to when he was with his family, but he's still a bit of a sweet crybaby who isn't used to the outside world and has the biggest heart in the world. The brothers find him so sweet,,, It makes Luffy kind of angry because "Why's he allowed to cry but when I do you call me a crybaby???" and Ace and Sabo always go "Because if you wanna be a pirate you gotta be strong! He's a cook. It's not the same" (cool way of saying 'we don't laugh at the pretty boy because we want to kiss the pretty boy, Luffy') and Sanji wants to prove them wrong and show that he's brave like them but doing what they do is just a big no-no. They always end by saying "Everybody has their strengths!!! We don't even know how to boil water" and Sanji feels all proud of himself whenever they compliment him like that.
Basically, they tell him to stay with them for as long as his ship is stranded there, and he accepts right away because they look fun and sweet and like friends, finally. And maybe they're the people Reiju was talking about when she said he'd find better people someday. So ASL hunts and Sanji cooks with the abilities he used to have when he was a kid, which are better now that he has a bit of experience, and the kids fall for him so quick. So damn quick. They taste Sanji's food and now you have Ace and Sabo experiencing their first ever crush ("first" for Sabo, because Ace's first crush was Makino and I will always find that so cute). Luffy is more focused on the food, though, but the three of them still fight over Sanji's attention. So-- I think this would be really funny. Sanji stays with them and is completely oblivious to Ace and Sabo falling for him, even if they're constantly trying to show off their abilities to get his attention. Sanji is a bit busy trying to get used to all of these emotions. Every day is fun and a bit dangerous and he does cry a lot, and the only one who can calm him down is Luffy because he knows how it feels to be scared. They play together and show him around. They introduce him to Dadan (who's about to have a heart attack because she can't deal with more kids) and she actually ends up loving him because!! The kid knows how to cook!! That is a win for them.
It's a bit weird for Sanji, to see them like that. Because he has never had any interaction with other siblings and they act so... Differently from his. Okay, yes, they fight a lot, but it's never serious. They always end up laughing. They're rough with each other but when it matters they're always using tender touches and language with each other. They calm Luffy down when he gets angry, know how to react if Ace is feeling stressed, and constantly say they miss Sabo when he isn't with them. Sanji doubts his brothers would've ever acted like that with him, so it hurts. He doesn't quite know if it's jealousy? Envy? Frustration? But Sanji knows it breaks his heart a little knowing he wasn't worthy of being loved like this. But they show him that he is worthy and he was never the problem to begin with. Because they start showering him with love too! Sanji doesn't want to be a bother, so he never asks for things and instead always tries to be useful. To sort of thank them for letting him have a place to stay. ASL just wants him to be a kid like them. They compliment his food, respect his personal space, let him participate in everything he wants, and they're so, so protective of him. Sanji might not train with them, but he's always there when they do, and if there are dangers near he knows they'll look after him without even having to ask. He wonders why they do that most of the time, and they always end up telling him "Because we don't want you to get hurt, dummy. We thought that was obvious?" and it breaks his heart a little.
They bond over so many different things. Luffy loves Sanji's cooking and won't stop asking him every day if he'll be his cook once he becomes a pirate (Sanji is always telling the three of them he has yet to decide), and he's always the one calming Sanji down whenever something's wrong. Luffy tells him in private that he knows feeling weak and scared sucks, but it isn't that bad when they're together, right? "Alone we aren't really strong, but together we are unstoppable! So stay with us, okay? That way you'll never have to cry again. I don't cry anymore because I'm all brave and a pirate, so it's my job to make sure you're always smiling!" and that melts his heart completely (and adds a new, painful meaning to Whole Cake Island. I wanna d word a little).
On the other hand, there's Ace... Ace is a complicated kid, obviously. He tries so hard to be cool and seem strong. At first, it makes Sanji admire him a lot, but then he finds out the kid is actually stupid and reckless and has to be looked after a lot too. Sanji loves being with him because he feels protected, but he's always worried Ace might get hurt. To be fair, it happens with Luffy too. However, there's just something about him... Like he's more mature than them. Like he has grown up too fast. And he hasn't talked about his past, so Sanji isn't sure why he's this way. Ace doesn't like Sanji seeing him this way, he figures, because he always pretends to be okay when Sanji knows he isn't. Until one day they have the "Should I have been born?" talk, and it's the first time somebody tells Ace "I think about that a lot too" instead of the usual "I don't know" or just a plain "Yes". They get each other so well. Ace wants to make a name for himself because his father has determined his whole future, and Sanji doesn't want to have anything to do with his father and just wants to be a normal person, but they both feel like they are a mistake, while the other keeps saying he's happy the other is alive.
And then there's Sabo. Now, Sabosan is the endgame ship here because I say so. I was just using Acesan as plot device because it's sweet and funny. Sabo, the one who always tries to be more mature and calm and cold-headed because the other two are even more chaotic than him (imagine how chaotic they are because Sabo is already... Something else), loses it the moment he meets Sanji. He's,,, He's so pretty. He's cute and knows how to cook and he's so so sweet and nice and has the biggest heart in the world. And Sabo has only seen pain and torture in the world. Living isn't just living, it's survival and escaping the pain he has to deal with his family every day. Sanji feels like living. Like, actually enjoying life when they're together. Sabo might be chaotic and he might fight a lot with Ace and Luffy for Sanji's attention, but at the end of the day, he is the gentle brother who takes more care of Sanji and is always looking after him. He brings him books from his house because he knows Sanji likes reading. He often even writes stuff for him because Sabo is a writer, and feels the need to show his art to Sanji. He lends him clothes and he's always the first one to offer to cook with him, even if he's awful at it. They're still kids so Sabo isn't quite sure what love feels like, but this is close enough, he thinks. Every time Sanji laughs? Smiles? When he speaks about the All Blue? It makes Sabo's heart do backflips. It makes him want to keep fighting and training. And Sanji sees the pain and responsibility Sabo feels in his eyes. He feels protected when he's around and it's always so much fun to be together. He likes how passionate Sabo is about writing and becoming a pirate, and he loves the way he takes care of Luffy too. Sanji ends up realizing he always puts a little bit more effort into Sabo's food... And he doesn't know what love is, but he's a bit shy around Sabo now that he knows he feels different about him.
Just imagine Makino coming to see them and meeting Sanji! She'd love him! The kid is so polite and smart and she just wants to kiss his cutie face and hug him tight. Her personality is kind of like his mom's, so it hurts a little to meet her, but she's just so sweet that Sanji can't help but grow attached to her. And God, just imagine Sabo and Sanji interacting in front of her. Sanji blushing and Sabo eating his food happily and always being so, so close to him. That woman knows what's going on, but if she asks Sabo she knows he's gonna go "What?! Sanji?! No! I don't like him! I mean- I do like him. But... But it's not that way..." / "Are you sure about that, darling? You know you can like, like him, right? It's okay. You can tell me" / ".... Do you think he likes me back? What do I do for him to like me back? What if he goes away and never finds out?!" / "I don't think you have to worry about that now, sweetie". But Makino is also a bit of a tease, so she goes to Sanji one day and says "Hey, Sanji? What do you think of Sabo?" / "..... He's really nice to me" / "He is, isn't he? He isn't that nice to everybody. Maybe you're special for him?" / "What?! I am not, how- How could I be? He's just... He just looks after me because I can't do it. I'm a burden" / "Don't say that, honey. He looks after you because he cares for you" / "He looks after Luffy too" / "It's different with you, I think. But well, he also looks after Luffy because that's what brothers do" / "Do they?" / "What, sweetie?" / "Nothing. Sorry. Sabo always asks to cook with me" / "Mmm. I wonder why".
Sanji doesn't make any promises because he has three different boys asking him if he wants to be their cook once they're captains, so he just says he wants to find the All Blue. That's enough for him. So now he has Ace, Sabo, and Luffy fighting over who will be the one taking Sanji to the All Blue. For now, Sanji just says he's everybody's cook. That's cool with them.
I think all of this could go hand in hand with the AU of Sanji and Sabo seeing each other first in a meeting between their families. So when Sanji ends up in the Goa Kingdom, Sabo already knows him and that's why they accept him into their little family so quickly. He thought Sanji was dead, so when they see each other again, Sanji is the happiest boy in the whole world. He's so protective of him. He won't stop saying how much he hates his family and Sanji. But they're alright now. They're okay.
But they're not. Because then, Sabo "dies". And the day after, Sanji has to leave with his crew. And then you have Ace and Luffy on their own, with a dead brother and Sanji promising they'll see each other again. But he's so heartbroken he doesn't know how he'll be able to keep going. He wants to find the All Blue for Sabo. He knows Sabo would've hated it if he had given up. Then the whole story goes on, yadda yadda Zeff yadda yadda Baratie yadda yadda Luffy and Sanji meet again yadda yadda Sanji joins the Strawhats yadda yadda they find Ace in Alabasta (and he's actually a bit jealous Luffy was the one who ended up with Sanji as his cook, but he's obviously happy for them). And maybe. Maybe something happens between Ace and Sanji. Maybe they kiss or something but I don't think they do anything else? Ace feels it is disrespectful to Sabo. He confesses he had a crush on Sanji when they were kids, and he's gorgeous now and he would love to be with him in some way, but it just feels wrong. Ace always knew Sabo and Sanji were meant to be, anyway, and Sanjii doesn't even want anything to happen, either. Yadda yadda yadda, Dressrosa. Oh, and isn't it hilarious how Sanji isn't even there. when it happens? Luffy meets Sabo. Everything follows canon. Except that Luffy has time to talk to him instead of Sabo running away quickly. And somebody mentions Sanji. Robin, maybe, and Sabo instantly goes "You did not take him with you!" but he's smiling when he says it. He wants to see him so bad. So, so bad. So he promises to visit the crew when he can. He promises he will see Sanji.
And then the end kind of follows the post I tagged about the other AU? Except that Luffy doesn't tell Sanji that Sabo is alive because he thinks he'll be happier if Sabo tells him himself when he pays a visit to them!!!
I just love childhood friends AUs,,, This is incredible. Awesome idea. I love Sabosan so much I might cry.

Monkey D. Luffy - Look.
Tumblr media
Warning : none
Genre : fluff
Synopsis : “luffy crushing on a boy (reader) for the first time?” - anon
Reader : male (you/yours)
Tumblr media
Luffy, unlike certain members of his crew, won't spend time denying his feelings. He's not going to avoid you or give you the cold shoulder. Because loving is a good thing.
He's learned that since his early years, people like Dadan, Makino, Shanks, or even his brothers Ace and Sabo taught him that through their patience and affection for him.
But he won't really differentiate feelings of love and feelings of friendship. He knows with a lover you can do everything you do with a friend. And you can even do more, like have sex, or not. But sometimes even friends have sex, or not. Which is a bit confusing in the end.
He likes holding hands, kisses on the cheeks, cuddling and hugging anyone who's his friend. He's not afraid to say I love you, I like you, I want you, I need you. But again, he says that regularly to people he considers his friends.
It's a bit tough for him to realize that what he's feeling is not just friendship, but something more. And once he realizes it, he won't try to ignore it.
He doesn't care that you're a man, it never crossed his mind that it could be a problem. Why ? Because it's not a problem at all. Why would it be ? He doesn't know.
He doesn't change from his usual self, if not more touchy and clingier. But he'll definitely try flirting with you, though his ways are… quite different.
“[Name], [Name], [Name], look ! I caught a big fish !” He yells out to grab your attention, taking said fish in his hands to show it to you.
The creature was almost his size, struggling to break free even though he was rolled up in lengths and lengths of Luffy's arms.
“[Name], looook !”
“Yes, yes, I'm looking !” You say, quickly walking out of the shared bedroom to see what Luffy wanted so desperately to show you.
But the fish was slippery and jumped out of his hands and back into the water despite his biggest attempts at catching him once more.
You approached the side of the ship, where Luffy was and looked down. The fish was gone.
He pouts, chin resting on the handrails as he looks away in disappointment. He really wanted to show you this big fish. Maybe Sanji could've even cooked it. It would've been delicious. And then, everyone would've thanked him for fishing such a delicious fish and you would've done the same, even mentioning your ardent feelings for him. And he would've been “Whoa ! Me too ! I love you !” with a huge smile and you would have a huge smile as well and you'd take his hand and you'd-
?
What do you do after that ?
Sadly, he will never know as all this was just a broken dream, hoping for the fish to come back.
“Come baaack…” He sobbed.
You gently placed your hand on his back, caressing him in a comforting manner.
“It's okay, Luffy, I saw it. It was really big.” You said quietly and he sniffed, looking at you with sad eyes. “And really pretty. I'm glad we didn't eat it.”
And just like that he was better. Oh you didn't want to eat it ? What coincidence, he didn't want to eat it either, in fact he even released the fish back into the water on purpose.
“Food's ready.” Sanji says from the kitchen's door, and slowly everyone moves from their place to walk toward him.
“You coming ?” You said to Luffy, pulling your hand out for him to grab. He took it quickly, grinning as he walked with you, even pulling you a bit as you were going too slowly for something like lunchtime.
“Come on, hurry up.”

Soft waves hitting the ship filled Luffy's mind, well until Nami's hectic yells met Luffy's ears.
He turned around to see the crew being chaotic as usual, Sanji was flirting with Nami and She looked like she wants to hit him with the pan he's cooking with, Zoro was quietly sharpening his swords judging everyone's existence, Ussop was binging on some popcorn as usual, but Luffy wasn't acting like he's usual self, he's very cheerful and loud but now he was silent?, there was obviously something on he's mind and Zoro was the first one to notice it, Zoro could see worry on Luffy's face but Why?.
Luffy was always a carefree person, Zoro was intrigued enough to go up to Luffy.
"Oi, Captain why the long face?" Zoro said which immediately sent Luffy back into reality.
"Huh?, oh nothing nothing I was just thinking about something" Luffy mumbled, barely maintaining eye contact with Zoro, well that clearly made Zoro suspicious.
"And that "something" is?" Zoro said raising an eyebrow.
"It-" Luffy was about to continue until They heard Ussop.
"There is an island ahead!!!" Ussop yelled, everyone looked out the window, it was some random island but It still looked interesting.
Okay it looks like a fair island, hope there's some spices" Sanji said mumbled.
"Okay everyone let's visit the island!" Luffy said brightly, he's goofy personality came back.
The crew got out of the ship and stepped into the island, Nami went to a clothing store, Zoro went to a bar with Luffy, Sanji and Ussop however went to the local farmers market since the ship is running out of food, while Sanji was checking which pear was ripped he's eyes caught a girl, she really stood out, wearing a slik red shirt and black pants, a black jacket, a heart necklace on her neck, eyes glowing red, her silky hair let down, a scar of the side of her lip, but the thing is she looked unapproachable, her cold gaze scaning the fruits and vegetables, a gun in her back pocket. Sanji the flirty basterd he is didn't take the warning signs and approached her.
"Hiii, I'm Sanji, I was just wondering why a pretty girl like you is wondering around this market" Sanji said in a flirty tone, the girl shot him a glance, looked him up and down and went back to scaning the fruits and vegetables, Sanji was still not giving up.
"Oh come on beautiful, Can I get your name?" Sanji said with a smirk.
"Y/n" she said finally looking at him.
"God, just a beautiful name" he said leaning against the counter.
The flirt talk of Sanji was interpreted by a loud scream, gun shot sounds filled the market and a voice was heard.
"Everyone on the ground, now!" A guy in a mask and a gun in he's hand, everyone did as he said except Y/n and Sanji, the masked guy turned to the two.
"Want me to shoot?" He said menacingly.
"No-" Sanji was about to respond, but the girl spoke first.
"Go ahead I'd love to see you try" she said, obviously unbothered.
"Aw, is a weak girl trying to challenge me?" The masked guy said with a smirk making her roll her eyes and reached out to her back pocket putting out a Handgun, the masked guy flinched.
"Where the hell did you get t- that?" He asked kinda scared. The girl scoffed and pointed the gun at him.
"None of your business, now get lost or I'll shoot" she said making the masked guy even more scared.
"Ok, ok." He mumbled and ran away, everyone turned to the girl, their jaws dropped, did she just save they're asses?.
"Oh My God, you'll be perfect in my crew!" Sanji exclaimed, making the girl slightly intrigued.
"What crew?" She asked curiously.
"The strawhats!, our captain is monkey D Luffy!" He exclaimed again.
Y/n got a wave of deja vu.
"Luffy?" She mumbled, her eyes widening.
"You know him?" Sanji asked kinda confused.
"Where's your captain!?" She looked around.
"He's at the local bar, why?" He asked titled he's head.
She didn't even answer and immediately went to the local bar, opening the door she could already see her younger brother.
"Luffy!" She exclaimed, a smile spreading on her face, that was rare. The captain's head turned to the girl and he's eyes widened as he immediately stood up.
"Y/n!" He exclaimed back and immediately hugged her, this was all being watched by the crew who just came back from whatever they were doing, they were confused as hell, Luffy never opened up about he's family so the crew didn't know who the hell this girl was, yet.

What’s it’s like to be Ace’s and Sanji’s lover?
Tumblr media
Request from @httpmakima
Tumblr media
Pairing: Portgas D. Ace x Reader and Vinsmoke Sanji x Reader.
Genre: Fluff [AU]
Warning: none
Word count: idk. (Someone need it?)
Tumblr media
Vinsmoke Sanji
So, you will most likely meet at the restaurant where he works. After a hard day at work, you often visit a restaurant to eat there, because due to your work schedule, you cannot afford to come home often, let alone spend time preparing dinner.
Sanji is quite a loving man, so he can't help but notice you, the girl who visits this place so often.
One day you catch eye contact with Sanji when he, like a chef, goes out to prepare a couple of dishes for several rich people. (Actually, he immediately notices you, because he was peeping at you through the glass in the kitchen).
Since then you two exchanged numbers when Sanji saw you leaving and decided to do this "brave" act, he-he
Back to the main point:
Sanji is not shy about social foreplay. he can easily kiss you, tell you that he loves you so much, or flirt stupidly with you.
Believe me, he does not have the best flirting, I am silent about his tackles.
Flirting and tackles are taken from an open source on the Internet, literally from the very first site if you enter in the query string: "The best collection of tackles for beautiful girls 2022"
If you want to go shopping SANJI WILL GO WITH YOU! Yeah, he's the kind of guy who's totally willing to spend all his money on you, get blisters on your feet, and then lug 100 bags of expensive clothes. "All for you my sweetheart!!!♡"
Sanji brags to Zoro, like "just look that I have a girlfriend, marimo😘😏"
Criticizes videos of undercooks who, in his opinion, cooked scrambled eggs wrong, and you are sitting like: "Sanji, cook me scrambled eggs correctly plz🥺"
In your morning it is simply obligatory to have a pleasant aroma of pancakes with vanilla and the most delicious coffee for cheerfulness.
Btw, Sanji will bring you breakfast in bed.
Sanji doesn't like the stereotype that a girl's place is at the stove.
But Sanji will still teach you how to cook different dishes if you really ask him to do so. Sanji is not a particularly nervous person, he is kind and partial to cute ladies, so he will hardly yell at you if you accidentally burn his kitchen, just take offense.
If you want to go to the spa with Sanji, he will agree, well, what could be better than spending a relaxing day with your girlfriend? Massages, manicures, pedicures, jacuzzi, milk baths, he don't care it is important to him that you feel cool.
Portgas D. Ace
let's pretend that ace is great at drawing, because, uh, there was a headcanon that he's pretty creative, so.. yes, just ✨imagine✨;
"Ugh, all these girls doing different exercises, and also these cute corgis" You think when someone grabs your attention by gently touching your shoulder. You raise your head to see who it is.
"Yo, I drew you, do you want to take a look?" Says the brunette with the "ASCE" tattoo on his shoulder
"Come on, Ace, show me what you did," You say with a smile when Ace smiles back and sits down next to you, showing you.. you? lol
You rlly like the way he conveyed your tired eyes staring at the phone. "woah, not bad, dude"
headcanons:
You are good friends with his two brothers because Luffy thinks you should be best friends because all of Ace's friends are supposed to know him. Sabo is a calm but busy man, so sometimes he can't chat with you, but your friendship is good.
Just like Sanji Ace is not shy about hugging you, kissing you or flirting with you. Ace's flirting and tackles are his own creation, so it looked better when you didn't know he came up with it.
Yamato hangs out with you sometimes, but sometimes dad won't let her out of the house😢😭😭
OMG! Funny case: because of his narcolepsy, Ace suddenly fell asleep again, holding a fork in his hands and falling face down on a plate. It was your first time, so frankly you thought he was dead. You panicked, as well as the rest of the visitors to the establishment, but suddenly ace wakes up, gets up and is like: "oh, excuse me😇" and wipes his face with a napkin.
Ace tik toker, don't try to convince me. ✨Imagine✨ he's one of those people who make videos without meaning: just like "oh, looks like I accidentally turned on the camera, well, let me film how Sabo and (Y/N) are chatting🥰"
One night you guys stole a lot of coins from the wishing fountain just for fun, just say it.

ASL X MOTHER READER
Sorry it took so long to write this.
ASL BOYS REACT TO YOU, SPENDING SLEEP OVER WITH THEM.
LUFFY
"MOM?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Luffy, ask, you smile. "Oh, to spend time with you and your crew." You said. Luffy jaw dropped to a surprise, and the whole crew drop.
Luffy introduced to you, his crew, and let say the straw hat crew we're pretty shocked. And whole crew will ask you so many questions.
Asking how you're luffy mother? How did you rise him? There is no way you rise a idiot?! Yeah... you told them that you rise Luffy and his brothers. Ace and sabo.
And your sister joins in too, luffy decided to give you some breakfast. He will just yell at sanji to bake food for you, "this tastes really good," you said.
"See! Sanji is the best cook!" Said luffy, luffy will tell you all the story he and his crew went, beat some bad guys. "Excuse me, luffy mom, can I ask you a question?" Nami asked.
(Luffy and your sister We're fighting about he took her lunch)
"Just call me Mrs. (Y/N) and you will call my sister Mrs. (S/N)," you said with a kind soft voice. "Mrs. (Y/N), how do you manage to sail across here?" She asked.
"Yeah, how do you and aunt (S/N) sail all the way here?" Luffy asks, you look at your sister. "Well, we didn't sail all the way to your ship. We flew." Said (S/N), "WHAT!?" The crew yelled.
"YOU CAN FLY!?" Chopper asks, with joy. (S/N) Look at Chooper with a confused look, "Who said, we can fly?" She questioned. Everyone was frozen thinking, if you and your sister didn't fly, then how did you fly.
Then, a loud noise sounded like a bird scream. The crew went out to see this bird creature:
Tumblr media
"WHAT IS THAT!?" Nami yelled, "TAMA!!"Luffy yelled, hugging the creature name tama. The crew was frozen in shock, and zoro almost attacked tama.
Robin was curious about tama. You told them tama is a mountain banshee, and the strawhat crew never heard about the mountain banshee.
Yeah... so, you let luffy ride tama for a bit. You show some baby pictures book of your boys, luffy kinda embarrassed.
ACE
"MOM!?" Ace question, seeing you riding on tama. You told him you came here to have more time with him. And you meet whitebeard, "it been in a long time (S/N),(Y/N)" he said.
"I see you grown old, whitebeard," said (S/N), Edward laugh. "I see you become a mother. How was shank? Is he still flirting with you?" He asked, you chulked.
"Think again. He still hasn't given up," you said, shook your head. "Well, it been a long time, (Y/N)," said marco, and your siblings are here too, your brother. He was with whitebeard crew.
"(B/N)!" You smile, hug your brother, "you be pretty hungry, we have food here," said Ace. "And I won't forget tama," he said. (marco and your sister are having a fight cause in the past they promised if they met up again. And continue the fight)
You watch Ace eating some meat and talk about the adventures he had, and then he falls asleep. You laughed, and the whole crew started to laugh, too.
Ace shows you his fire skill and his sticker. You were amazed by his life he had, being a show off. But... you did bring a baby photo book of Ace when he was baby.
The crew tries not to laugh so hard, and ace is still kinda embarrassed. He wants to tell you not to show more baby photos of him, but you couldn't resist.
Whitebeard ask you and your sister to join them, but you can't. Cause you came here to see your son, it really hurt ace, but he understands.
SABO
You and your sister arrived at okama Island, where sabo is at, and you met Dragon, luffy Real Father. He thanked you for rising luffy as a mother.
"Mother! Is nice to meet you here! And you too, as well auntie (S/N)!" Said sabo, he hugs you tight, knowing that how much he misses his mother so much. You meet sabo friends, they pepper dinner.
Sabo eats quite normal. You remember he went crazy when he was a kid, he changed a lot. Your sister train sabo, how trust the creature from your hometown.
And she teaches him how to fly with tama, even though tama doesn't quite remember sabo, but she still remembers him when he was a kid. And guess what? You show them the baby photos book!
It was quickly when sabo remembered the photos. You're glad to see sabo again, and sabo told you how it happened. How he didn't die.
You teach sabo how to communicate with other animals from your country. You remember it was yesterday when you taught your sons about your hometown.
"Hey, mom... do you remember the lullaby? When you sang for us?" Said sabo, you smiles. "Hush, hush... Baby rabbit on the hillside... Why are your eyes so red? When I was small... mother ate the fruit of the red tree... and that's why my eyes are red" you sang
THANK YOU FOR WAITING!!! I

500 Followers Failed Fic 33
a failed attempt at a current Sabo fic I'm working on
Looking down at the blank piece of paper, Sabo carefully considered his words. How should he put this? He’d never done this before, then again, he’d never had a crush on anyone before. He wondered how you were doing, was his brother taking good care of you? What about that stupid flirt of a cook? He wasn’t harassing you, was he? Maybe he could get updates from Robin? Sighing, Sabo laid his head on his desk, he knew he had it bad, he had since he’d first met you. Thinking back to it, Sabo smiled, you’d been in Dressrosa with Luffy when he first saw you. You’d been wearing a large sun hat so nobody would easily notice or at least not easily identify you, but Sabo was pretty sure that was impossible with how beautiful you were. He knew a little bit about you from when Robin had trained with them, but the woman hadn’t mentioned just how beautiful you were, Sabo becoming instantly smitten. He’d first approached you as just Sabo, not older brother of Luffy, not chief of staff, just him. You’d given him that beautiful, bright smile of yours and he had felt himself fall harder, practically melting when he heard your laugh. He’d offered to show you around the city, presenting himself as just another person from Dressrosa. Part of him knew you might not be happy about the lie, but he couldn’t give himself away yet. The two of you had spent a good amount of time wandering around the city and getting to know each other, or at least as well as you could get to know him without him blowing his cover. Hopefully he could get to know you better once he revealed who he was. Eventually he’d had to bid you farewell, leaving to see Luffy, but not before taking your hand and bringing it to his lips. Once things had been settled with Doflamingo and Dressrosa, he’d sought you out immediately, hoping that you were alright. Thankfully, aside from a few scratches, you’d been fine, Sabo breathing a sigh of relief. You’d asked him why he didn’t tell you who he was, having seen Doflamingo’s price on his head. The young blond had been doomed from the moment he saw you pouting, a little miffed that he hadn’t told you. Instantly, he’d begun telling you everything, or at least everything he could without giving away vital information. The two of you had spent the rest of the afternoon and part of the early evening together, just talking and getting to know each other.

Title: Welcome 1.???
You walked around in the rain, your makeup was running down your face and your sobs soon turn into hiccups. You couldn’t believe your boyfriend had cheated you on with your best friend. The two people you trusted the most stabbed you in the back and you quite frankly hated them both just as much as you hated yourself forever trusting either one of them. You sat on the bench and put your head in your hands and you began crying again. You didn’t notice someone coming your way until you felt a jacket cover you, you quickly looked up to meet a top hat man.
“You will get sick if you stay in this rain.” The man said, you blushed slightly looking down and sighing.
“It’s not like I have a choice...”
“You can always go home.”
“I don’t have a home anymore...”
“Why? What happened to it?”
“You don’t want to hear about my problems...” You said trailing off looking at your hands grateful for the jacket.
“You seem to need a willing ear...” He said placing his hand gently on your shoulder. You looked up at him and you could tell he was really concerned about you.
“I caught my boyfriend cheating on me with my best friend. I was living with him...” You said, your voice cracking at the end. The male wasn’t expecting that and he wrapped his arms around you.
“ Well dang, I am so sorry that happened. You can stay at my place until you get back up on your feet.”
“Oh no, I could never... I don’t want to be a bother.”
“I insist, plus leaving you out in the rain while heartbroken with nowhere to go just doesn’t sit right with me...”
“But....”
“I insist really... We have a spare bedroom.”
“We?”
“Me and my two brothers...” You chewed your lip before nodding your head hesitantly. He took your hand and you grasped it gently and he led you to his home.
“My name is Sabo by the way, what is your name?”
“Oh... it’s (Y/N), it’s a pleasure to meet you, Sabo. You don’t understand how much this means to me...” You said and he smiled warmly at you.
“It’s no problem, really...” He said, before stepping onto his porch. You sighed softly and Sabo pushed you to the side slightly which confused you. He opened the door dodging a chair that came at his head. You gasped covering your mouth and Sabo gave you a smile as if this was a normal thing.
“Wait... right here real quick.” You nodded your head as he disappeared into his home. After a few minutes, Sabo came back taking your hand into his pulling you inside.
“Ace, Luffy this is (Y/N)... she will be staying with us for a while,” Sabo said, you hid behind Sabo as it was more crowded than normal.
“Don’t worry Luffy and Ace are the only ones who stay here these are just their friends which is why it’s so rowdy. The youngest one is Luffy the older one is Ace.”
“Hi (Y/N)!” He shook both your hands and you flinched slightly before Luffy got close to your face.
“Hey, why does it look like you have been crying?”
“Hmm, a pretty face, with angel eyes shouldn’t be crying.” Ace said, and you blushed to duck behind Sabo who only chuckled.
“Calm down you two, Ace don’t flirt with her. It’s too soon.”
“Huh?”
“She is going through a breakup right now. Let her ease her heart first.” Sabo scolded and Ace made an ‘oh’ face.
“Oops, sorry...” He said and you shook your head with a small face.
“I-It’s okay.” You said with a small smile, and Sabo began cooking dinner.
“Hey Ace, can you show her, her room and maybe let her borrow some of Luffy’s clothes so that she doesn’t catch a cold...” Sabo asked and Ace beamed nodding his head.
“Of course.” He said leading you down a hallway ignoring what his friends were saying to him. Once he grabbed some of Luffy’s clothes he explained where your room was and the bathroom.
“Here you can shower here and change. You can stay in your room until dinner is done, or you can come to hang out with us.” Ace said. You nodded your head with a smile and Ace ruffled your hair slightly before leaving to the living room. You closed and locked the bathroom door before stripping yourself out of the wet clothes. You then got in the shower and you sighed softly letting the hot water hit your skin. Your mind filled with thoughts of your ex and you shook your head trying not to think about him.
“I hate him, I hate him, I hate him~,” You said to yourself trying to clear your mind but you continued to cry for a few more moments. Once you were sure you were out of tears, you washed your face to remove the makeup before turning the water off. You then dried off and got dressed in the clothes you borrowed before walking out with the wet ones. Sabo blinked almost not recognizing you before he smiled.
“Here I will wash those.” He said and you gave him your wet clothes.
“Thank you, Sabo, ~”
“It’s no problem...” He said going to the laundry room, you then put your hair up in a messy ponytail since it was wet not bothering to brush it. You went to go into the room but Sabo took your hand in his pulling you to the living room.
“No need to isolate yourself, if you began to have fun you will forget faster...” He said.
“Okay, you are right.” You said, and he was glad you didn’t argue with him. Once you arrived in the room, everyone was talking and laughing. Some glanced at you and Sabo, and Ace ran to you picking you up. You gasped clinging to him, and your face erupted into flames.
“A-Ace p-put me down!” Sabo sighed at his brother but laughed slightly knowing that you would get along fine with everyone.
“Isn’t she adorable guys?” Ace yelled and you covered your face looking at Sabo for help and he only laughed. You grew shy as you try to get out of Ace’s hold and a blonde guy with pineapple-like hair came up to your rescue and hit Ace in his head.
“Let the lady go yoi...”
“Owe Marco~~” Ace whined and you managed to get out of his hold and you sighed.
“Thank you...”
“You are welcome... I am Marco, you must be (Y/N) yoi~”
“Yeah...” You said looking down and Ace wrapped his arm around you.
“We should get all of your stuff and have you move in permanently~”
“Wait what??? I mean I need my stuff but I can wait until I find my own place...”
“Non~sense. Sabo can (Y/N) stay forever????” Ace yelled and Sabo hummed.
“Only if she wants to...”
“See Sabo don’t mind.”
“But....”
“(Y/N)!!!!” Luffy came flying at you and you stumbled back.
“Stay please it will be fun having you around...”
“You looked at them hesitantly before looking at Sabo who gave you his kind smile.
“F-Fine...”
“Great!” Ace and Luffy yelled and Sabo walked over removing Luffy off of you and putting space between you and Ace.
“When did you want to go get your stuff?”
“I really don’t want to go...” You mumbled looking down.
“We can go get it for you yoi~ you just have to show us,” Marco said, and the three siblings nodded.
“W-What???”
“Yeah all of us would go and get your stuff... or we can have pops get it...” Ace snickered.
“Something tells me that would end badly if you all go or he goes....” You said, and Ace hummed.
“Maybe... he did break your heart....” Ace said, and you blushed to look down before the girls came up.
“Leave it to the guys, give them the address and we can treat you out.” An orange-haired girl said with a smile.
“Don’t borrow from her, bet with her, or anything that includes money. She will drain your pockets...” A green-haired man said and you blinked confused as she hit his head slightly.
“Owe what the hell Nami~!?”
“Don’t talk to Nami~swan like that, you stupid Marimo ~!” A blonde male said, and those two began fighting again.
“That’s Sanji and Zoro, Luffy’s friends,” Sabo whispered and you nodded your head.
“I... Don’t want to be left here by myself. I have social anxiety.” You whispered to Sabo shaking slightly. Sabo noticed and held your hand.
“She will go with us and I just need Ace and Luffy to go with me...” Sabo said and everyone nodded. You relaxed and Sabo patted your arm gently, it wasn’t long before everyone began to go home and Sabo went into the kitchen to check on the food.
“Okay, you three the food is ready...” Sabo said from the kitchen and Ace and Luffy raced to the kitchen. You followed slowly behind and sat beside Sabo.
“Thank you, Sabo, ~,” You said and Sabo laughed softly.
“It’s no problem you’ve been thanking me a lot today,” Sabo said, and you shrugged slightly with a smile.
“Just let me know when you want to grab your stuff.”
“Any time is fine, no matter when I won’t feel comfortable seeing him.”
“Well if he does anything you got us.” Ace said with a smirk, and you gave him a shy smile.
“Thank you, Ace... Luffy you too.” You said but Sabo smacked Luffy’s hand away from your food. You jumped slightly when you heard a thump and saw Ace sleeping in his food suddenly.
“Is...he okay?” You asked and Sabo chuckled.
“Yeah, he has narcolepsy...” Sabo said shaking his head and making you nod your head slightly. Sabo and you began eating just as Ace woke up looking around before eating again. Luffy kept trying to steal your food but Sabo moved his hand away from your plate. Even though you weren’t too hungry you didn’t want to make Sabo or the others worry. Once you were done eating you went to do dishes but Sabo bumped you gently.
“You don’t have to, I can... do it,” Sabo said.
“Don’t be silly...” You said but Sabo once again pushed you away.
“(Y/N)...you are the guest.”
“But, I will be staying here awhile.”
“That’s fine, but I will do the dishes...”
“Sabo...” You huffed and Sabo pushed you out of the kitchen by your shoulders.
“Bye-bye...” Sabo said, and you puffed your cheeks and went into the living room with Ace and Luffy. You went to sit in the chair but Luffy pulled you in between him and Ace. Luffy cuddled you and you blinked looking at him before looking at Ace. Ace wrapped an arm around you slightly and you blushed to look down but the warmth of the two brothers made you sleepy. You began to doze off leaning into Ace, and Ace blinked and smiled before falling himself.
Sabo came out of the kitchen and watched the three of you sleeping and he chuckled at how adorable. He took a camera and took a picture making sure to get a frame for it later. He took a blanket and covered you, Ace, and Luffy.
“Good night you three.”

If you were Law's sister but you're dating Sanji (HC)
Credits to GIF owners~
Tumblr media
So you're Law's 4 years younger sister Rip Lami chan
Your name is Trafalgar.D.Water (Y/N)
You were his cute little sister that needs 24/7 protection
Well you weren't that weak, you could take care of yourself but
Law is that OVER PROTECTIVE big brother
He would tease you alot when you're with Everyone.
But during fights and battles he won't leave your side and will protect you at all cost
So going straight to the point
Ever since Law made an alliance with Luffy and his crew
You had that huge crush over their Gentleman cook
Your eyes goes all hearts and uwuwu if he flirts with you
But this crush turned totally into I fell in love thing
The funny thing here is you weren't alone in this
The Blonde cook looked like he fell for you
How he possibly can't
You spend most of your time at the Strawhats ship
Basically sitting in that kitchen trying to get Sanji's attention by helping him
And Boooom! *Insert fireworks*
One night you confessed to each other and now dating
Everyone knew about both of you except for your Ni-san
But when he finds out about it bcs of a certain long nose man Usopp who couldn't keep his mouth shut.
Over protective brother Mode: On
He would go and warn Sanji about messing with you like this:
Tumblr media
"Don't you dare make her cry"
And Sanji will go like " The same goes for you Torao" Sanji swag
Lots of fulffy moments with Sanji including forehead and cheek kisses every time you pass by each other
Even if Law was sending these glares at Sanji from the corner deeply inside he's happy for you
Both would act like good friends infront of you
And turns like this whenever you're not around:
Tumblr media
Arguing like cats and dogs, I can now understand why Zoro and law get along well
If you saw this scene by mistake as you pass by
" You two!! Stop fighting" with a huge pout on your face leaving them
Bcs they made you sad
You weren't that sad but your pout was like their weak point evil drama queen
Immediately stop their arguing session and tells you that they won't do it again
You give both a quick kiss on the cheek and leave like you did nothing
Your brother is slightly blushed with that frown on his face giving the I don't care face
Sanji was last seen at the sick bay due to the severe nosebleed you know you should not do that without alerting him however, you did lol

Meeting At Long Last - Chapter 3: Setting Sail
AO3 Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/24753607/chapters/63739450
As Lily pushed open the cabin door, she felt the rush of cold air filter through the gaps in her armour. She only removed her armour when necessary, and rarely outdoors, and so the brief feeling made brought for the nostalgia of the sun on her skin and the wind dancing through her hair as it had during her carefree days spent on Dawn Island.
Coming out of her thoughts, she observed the man in front of her. Thatch was a near spitting image of his wanted poster, right down to the pompadour hairstyle and goatee. What had changed was subtle and had come naturally with age. New wrinkles and age spots had appeared that were once not present and prominent scars had faded into nearly invisible intents in the skin. Still, his age didn’t dull his warm smile, nor remove the friendliness from his eyes. If anything, it only served to enhance his friendly demeanor, evoking the feel of wise older figure from a fairy tale that helps the hero during their quest.
“Hey Lily, I’m Thatch! Fourth Division Commander and head cook. It’s good to meet the sister Ace has talked about so often. I’ve brought you some breakfast, I figured you might be hungry after last nights events.”
Bringing his hands forward, Lily saw he held a wooden platter. Across its surface were morsels, all different, but exquisite in their way. Much of what was present she recognised, but others were strange; a neon green star with a scattering of pepper atop, a piece of blue-tinted fish and oddly what she thought resembled a cherry blossom petal.
As strange as some of the food was, the care put into making the food was evident, and she knew it had been some time since her last meal. Taking the platter in her hands, she grabbed the piece of fish. Carefully lifting the bottom of the mask, she felt a slight resistance from the straps that held it in place as she placed it in her mouth.
It was delicious, undeniably so. Even with her non-existence palette, every bite was a joy.
“This is scrumptious!”
“I’m glad you like it. I made a mix of different things, so you were bound to like something here.”
Satisfied that Lily had liked his cooking, Thatch took the opportunity to hop onto the railing, crossing his legs and placing his hands on his knee before addressing her again.
“Come sit up here with me. Its more comfortable than the floor and we get a table out of it.”
“Are you sure the platter won’t fall off? I don’t want to waste it.”
“Don’t worry! The wind and sea are calm. I’d be more worried about Ace returning and inhaling it.”
Lily gave a small laugh in response. “Quite true, I’ve lost some goods meals to his blackhole-for-a-stomach.”
Handing the platter to Thatch, who placed it beside him, she joined him on the railing and grabbing another morsel. The man seemed content to wait as Lily ate before re-starting the conversation. Still, the more she ate, the more she felt energy return to her, and with it, a strange bravery that often eluded her in social situations with strangers.
“Just how much had Ace told you about us?” She asked as she grabbed another item from the platter.
“Talking about you and Luffy is one of his favourite topics. He’s told us a lot about the three of you as kids.”
“And as adults?”
“Not as much. Can’t make too many stories where you’re seas away from your family. He does make sure to check out every newspaper we get for news on you two, though. You’re not famous, but you were mentioned a few times thanks to some of the bigger bounties you’ve brought in. No front pages, but that still didn’t stop Ace from showing us.”
He pauses for a moment, undoubtedly thinking over his many conversations with her brother.
“Come to think of it, there were never any photos of you, just mentions, so Ace filled us in on your appearance.”
“I’ve changed my attire a bit since we last saw each other, but I assume he mentioned the mask?”
“Yeah matches his description too. A smiling white rabbit with a pink nose and chubby cheeks. This one not made of wood though, is it?”
“The old one became damaged during a fight with a bounty in the North Blue, so I had it replaced. This one looks the same, but its made of a special type of coloured one-way glass. It's more sturdy and comes with adjustable straps, so it's more comfortable to wear for longer periods. They even included some fabric that covers my hair and keeps it flying out during combat.”
Reaching up, she detaches the black fabric from the top edge of the mask, allowing her white hair to flow free.
“White hair for a white rabbit, it suits.”
Lily nodded in agreement as she focused on folding the fabric and placing it into a small pocket on her breast.
“Do you take it off often? Ace has never mentioned you without it on.”
GhOsT. MoNsTeR. FrEaK
His words unintentionally brought forth flashes of those she once knew. Their voices had long since faded into nothingness, but their words remained, carved into the core of her mind with serrated fingernails.
“NO!” She shouted with an abruptness that startled the man beside her.
“No… only in private.” She said in a nervous whisper, trying her best to defuse the awkward situation she had created.
I’ve ruined things again. Of course, I have. “Ok, I’ll let the other know, so they don’t bother you about it. Some of them can be nosy when it comes to new people.”
His words caught her by surprise, and when she turned to face him, she didn’t see a look of judge or rejection that had become commonplace to her. There was only an accepting smile.
“Thank you, that is incredibly kind,” her happiness coming through with every word she spoke.
He shook his head “Nonsense, it’s decent and not helping the sister of my crewmates is an absurd thought. Changing the topic to your brother, Ace is currently with Pops. Saw him get called in on his way back from his cabin, so I decided to find you. I was going to anyway since I thought you might appreciate some food.”
“Ace did warn me we might bump into each other.”
Thatch let out a light chuckle.
“I figured he would’ve, and I don’t blame him. When he first joined Hartua and me were the biggest flirts on the ship. Since he was placed in my Division at the time, he got a first-hand look at our antics. Every island we’d visit was another opportunity to find new people to spend a night with. But then…”
He looked down fondly at the easel mark on his wrist.
“You found your soulmate?”
He nodded.
“His name is Aisuru. We met when the Moby traveled to Fishman Island after a few pirate crews started a ruckus. I’d gone into a bookstore to look for new cooking books when we bumped into each other. He got such a shock from finally seeing colour he tripped over and whacked me in the face with his tail.”
As Thatch finished, he burst into laughter, and Lily followed suit. His energy was infectious, and she noticed it was easy to get caught up in the positive energy he extruded.
“I’ve taken him up to the surface a few times so he can see things with his own eyes. He loves seeing everything he’d only been able to see in painting and books. Shame we can’t travel together, but he has no desire to be a pirate and its safer for merfolk to stay on Fishman Island.” Thatch turned to face her. “Have you found your soulmate yet?”
Lily shook her head. “Not yet. The mark on my wrist hasn’t changed at all.”
“Ahh, so you’ve got a mark then?”
“Yes, it has been a black dot my entire life, I doubt that will change.”
And it shouldn’t.
Thatch gave her a reassuring pat on the back, “I know you haven’t asked, but don’t overthink it. No point worrying about this stuff, it's too all-consuming. Instead, why don’t we go check the ship?” Thatch said as he hopped off the railing, landing gracefully then smoothly tucking the now empty platter under his left arm.
Ace’s warning flickered into her mind. “A tour? I’m not so sure…”
“Please, it would be an honor to show you around.”
And so, with a nod from Lily the tour began.
    ~
For the next hour, Thatch and Lily journeyed around the Moby Dick, exploring the ship’s prominent locations. As promised, their impromptu tour started with the galley.
Lily hadn’t doubted Thatch when he said it was massive, but her mind had still failed to picture the actual size of the room and everything in it.
The room was split down the middle by fridges, countertops, ovens, stoves and other equipment she didn’t recognise, as were the walls. There were fewer people than she expected, with most of those present were preparing ingredients for the next round of dishes. She could see potatoes being peeled, carrots sliced, and from somewhere unknown came the scent of cooking beef.
There was pride on Thatch’s face as he viewed the galley that she thought was reserved for master artisans who had spent years mastering their craft, learning every aspect they could from the mundane to the wonderful.
“Given my love of cooking, I doubt you’d be surprised to hear this is my favourite part of the ship. But I’m not one of those cooks who’d keep this place locked up tighter than a Marine Base. If you ever want a snack or to make something, you’re always welcome.”
The smile that formed on Thatch’s face was like a beam of sincerity, making it obvious he wanted her to take him up on the offer.
Their next stop was the main dining area of the ship. It was substantially smaller than the galley which perplexed Lily, given the size of the crew. The tables and chair were placed haphazardly, a clear sign that the crew would move them about as needed.
“We often feast on the deck. Even if we don’t, the crew are all on differing shifts, so we’ve never had to worry about this place filling up. Of course, you’re free to eat here anytime and just between us.”
He leaned closer to her and whispered in her ear, “The best stuff comes out late at night. That’s when we drink a little and focus on making the food more interesting.”
Unsure if she should trust food that the head chef himself labelled ‘interesting’, Lily simply nodded, which seemed to satisfied the cook.
“Alright, off to our final stop.”
~
The final leg of the tour was the longest as their destination was on the other side of the ship.
The infirmary sat toward the back of the boat, away from the where most of the crew’s activity, no doubt to give the sick and injured some much needed quiet time as they recovered.
“And this is our final stop, the infirmary. “ Thatch stopped in front of the door that precisely matched every door Lily had seen so far, excluding the red cross that sat toward the top.
Its always the doors shipwrights seem to cheap out on. No doubt this habit of theirs is going to haunt me later.
Not noticing his companion’s distraction, Thatch gripped the handle but hesitated for a moment.
“Don’t worry. We’ll make sure you don’t see the inside of this place after this visit.” As he spoke, Lily felt a protectiveness in the man’s voice.
Did I make a friend? Lily wondered.
As soon as she entered the room, Lily got the impression it was the very definition of sterile. Every surface had been cleaned to perfection. It was as if anything unclean lived in fear of entering the room, and, she thought, if this fear were to have a source, it would have to be the room’s only current occupant, excluding her and Thatch.
Marco was seated at a desk with his back to them, the sound of pen hitting paper reverberating from his direction. He hadn't acknowledged their presence, but she had no doubt he knew he now had company.
“Thatch, why am I not surprised you managed to sneak Lily away from Ace?”
“Not my fault Pops wanted to talk to Ace before he could get back from his cabin. Besides, I couldn’t leave our guest hungry, could I?” Thatch said with a chuckle.
“So, this has nothing to do with irritating Ace after he drank your sake last week?”
“Not entirely, especially now I’ve gotten to know Lily, she’s great!”
While no audible groan came from Marco, it was easy to imagine one. She felt that situations like these were a common occurrence, much to the dismay, and likely amusement of those watching.
“Good to see you currently lack patients. We all prefer it when this place is empty.” “We might have a few once we join back up with Jozu and Izu, depends how their much resistance they encounter,” Marco replied, continuing to scribble away on whatever lay in front of him.
“Might not be much, depends how much the Marines care about us laying our claim to that island. They can’t pay the Tribute, but it's close to one of their main patrol routes. S’pose it depends who is nearby when they get there.”
“Commander Thatch!”
The conversation was halted by the arrival of a scrawny man who’d burst through the door. Sweat glistened on his face and neck and his brown hair stuck to his head like it was drenched in glue.
“Pops wants to see you urgently.”
Despite his breathlessness, the man disappeared as soon as he finished speaking with Thatch moving to follow.
“Take care of Lily for me, Marco! And don’t fight her this time,” Thatch said as he closed the door behind him.
And so, with a gentle creak, her tour guide left leaving her alone with Marco. With its closing, she braced herself for the expected loneliness and anxiety to surge forward and consume her like a storm front pushed by a great wind into the path of a tiny fishing boat.
She waited. Then waited a little longer, but nothing came.
It was perplexing, but pleasantly so. An escape from the depressing normal she had long been accustom to.
“Are you feeling, ok? No cuts or other injuries from your fight with Mozo?”
Lost in her thoughts, she overlooked Marco rising from his chair and coming to stand in front of her. Now able to fully take him in, she saw he wore a long-sleeved, unbuttoned white shirt that served to displayed his muscular chest and the jolly roger tattooed across it. A few faded scars were also visible, marks earned from his decades of piracy.
He was observing her with a keen eye, looking for signs of injury or sickness, but with only her hair exposed, even his expertise was struggling to find any obvious clues.
“None, I got out without a scratch.”
A small, relieved smile appeared on his face. “Good, but if anything starts hurting you, come find me, ok? We might’ve not had the most friendly start, but I’ll look after you so long as you’re on this ship. Speaking of last night...”
He paused for a moment, considering his words before continuing.
“Lily, I need to apologies to you for what I did last night. I shouldn’t have assumed so hastily that you were a part of the attack. I deeply regret that I almost hurt you”. The sincerity of his words flowed off him and seemed to fill even the furthest reaches of the room.
She answered him without hesitation. “I accept, and please don’t feel horrible. You had good reason to act as you did.”
The grin that plastered his face was as sincere as his apology. “Alright. Maybe as a way to make up for the mistake, I could show you my favourite place on the ship? If you want to, of course.”
“Sure, lead the way.”
So, she followed, all the while bemused by why she felt comfortable with a man who had tried to fight here just hours before.
    ~
Marco took her to the stern of the ship. It had been a silent journey, though Lily noted that her companion would often glance behind him as if checking she was still following, adjusting his pace if she was more then two steps behind him. It wasn’t an act of caution, but instead of care. He wanted to make sure he didn’t abandon her.
Maybe he’s a fast walker and doesn’t want me to lose him?
With a skill only gained from years of practice, Marco placed his hand on the railing and hoisted himself up before spinning himself around, so he faced the sea. Comfortable, he turned his head to face Lily.
“Let me help,” he held out his hand toward her, a lazy but friendly smile overtaking his face, and she felt no hesitation from within herself as she lifted her hand to take his.
The ease with which Marco lifted her made her realise just how strong he was. Given his position, it would’ve been more surprising for him to be weaker. He would need more than a powerful devil fruit to be a Commander on the crew of an Emperor.
Firmly seating herself on the railing, she let go of Marco’s hand and took in the view.
Belle Island was now in the distance. The ship hadn’t been sailing for long, as she could still make out many of the details, including the town’s harbour. But these were fading, and the sea and sky were starting the blend into one as they often did when things were calm.
There were no words shared between the two as they watched the island before them fade, but she felt they were unneeded. At this moment, merely sitting together and staring into the distance was enough to make them both content. She didn’t know how long they’d sat their together, as the only gauge was a slowly shrinking island. Eventually, though, something encouraged Marco to speak.
“Lily, I hope you’ll come to love being on this ship as much as I do.”
The comfort his words brought her warmed her chest. It was a pleasant feeling, and so she decided to embrace it and ignore the oddness of that sensation coming from someone so new.
She went to reply but paused when she heard an odd sound coming from behind them.
Lily compared the sound to a ferocious beast stampeding across an open plain as it chased its prey. But as it grew louder, she realised it wasn’t many sets of footsteps but rather just one. It didn’t take much thought to realise who it was.
“Hello you two!” Ace shouted out, blissfully unaware that his thunderous footstep had already announced his arrival.
“Hey, Ace,” Marco replied, while Lily gave Ace a small wave.
Ace gave the pair a curious look that he swiftly covered with a wide grin.
“What you guys look at up there?”
“Watching the ship set sail,” Marco said nonchalantly.
Ace craned his neck to see the view but seemed to lose interest quickly.
Suddenly, and with the grace of a drunken Sea King, Ace climbed onto the railing, squeezing his body between Lily and Marco. Lily noticed she had to put up little resistance to keep her place, but the sounds of a scuffle from beside her told her there was a miniature war for space occurring between her two companions.
Eventually, the scuffling ceased as Ace sat fully upon the railing, signalling his victory. He turned to face her with an enormous grin, his pleasure at having won evident.
“Oi Ace, you almost pushed me over the side! Marco said with an irritated tone.
“If you moved over you wouldn’t be in danger of falling, would you?”
“Me? You’re the one trying to push in. Why do you want to sit in the middle anyway? You can sit on either side of us.”
“Why does it matter Marco? I wanted to sit in the middle!”
It was a light-hearted fight, one between close friends that had no malice or hatred. If they were children, she would call it play-fighting, but as adults with two powerful devil fruit abilities, it had become what Lily would describe as a play argument.
An unseen smile graced her lips as she watched them.
It is good to see Ace has made close friends here.
She looked out into the distance once more. Belle Island was turning into a speck and was soon to fade altogether. Some seagulls had followed the ship, but even they seemed to be getting further away, their circling expanding as they became discouraged by the growing distance between the boat and the island.
The bickering beside her had simmered, replaced by the start of a plot by Ace to get back at Thatch for his ‘shenanigans, with Marco offering suggestions on the best ways to exact revenge.
It looks like this might be fun.

Read All About It - an Ace/Oc fanfic - Chapter 10
The dining room was packed with crew members eager for dinner. Thatch was a good cook and Ashina was thankful that was something they gained by joining Whitebeard. The spread of meat, bread, roasted vegetables, and sweets that covered the tables was overwhelming. The room was loud, filled with laughter and chatter from multiple conversations. They had slowly begun to make friends with some of their new crew and many of their original members were scattered around the room at various tables.
Ashina sat between Ace and Deuce, and Marco, Thatch, and Izo sat across from them.
“So, Red, any chances of you ditching Fire Fist for a real man?” Thatch teased. He was a shameless flirt, and his favorite pastime was to aggravate Ace by trying to lure her away from him. Seeing as he never hit on her without Ace around, Ashina took it all in fun.
Even though she shot him down, he succeeded every time in making flames appear on Ace’s shoulders. If his comment was lewd enough, his whole back would blaze. This time only small flames danced on Ace’s shoulders. Deuce thought it was hilarious every time and laughed loudly.
“Not gonna happen, Thatch,” she said. Her free hand sliding to grip Ace’s thigh and the other bringing a forkful of carrot to her mouth.
“Damn. Will you still spar with me?”
“Maybe, I like kicking your ass.”
Thatch grinned, and went to say something else but Marco interrupted. “How did you two meet?”
Ace laughed and Ashina turned to scowl at him as he answered, “I ruined her mission and then had to save her.”
“You did not have to save me!” she smarted back.
Ace just grinned. “You were surrounded.”
“And I was doing just fine before you sounded the alarm, Flame Boy. I could have gotten off the island all by myself.”
“No way. Those Marines would have encircled you again just like they did to us at the docks. You needed my help.”
Ashina rolled her eyes. “No, I didn’t, but you keep thinking that Fire Fist. Had you not set a building on fire I would have never been noticed. No need for saving when you’re in and out under the Marine’s noses.”
“Sneaky little thing aren’t you?” Izo said. “And you have Haki. Hmm.”
“Where did you learn to fight, Ace? You possess incredible strength even without your Devil Fruit powers,” Marco asked.
“I grew up in Goa Kingdom with my two brothers, Luffy and Sabo. It was full of huge animals we fought all the time growing up. And Gramps used to drop by every now and then for some really tough training.”
“Gramps?”
“Oh, my grandpa. Garp.”
“Garp the Fist is your grandfather?” Izo half shouted, but no one else seemed to pay any mind to them.
Ace just shrugged. “Yeah, adoptive, but yeah.”
“Damn. No wonder you’re strong. What about you Ashina? Who taught you to fight? You have some wicked martial arts skills.”
“My mother,” she answered Marco.
“Haki?”
“Also, my mother,” she said with a smile. “I learned my sword fighting mostly from my father. We would train together whenever he came to visit.”
“You ever fight with Fire Fist?”
“We’ve spared, but I haven’t tried to kill him.”
“Ah, what?” Ace sputtered.
“Oh come on, Ace. I have Haki, I can touch you even when you turn to flame. I just need to get my arms around your neck and bam, K.O.”
Marco, Deuce, and Izo laughed, but Thatch sat pondering. “You know,” he said after a minute. “I bet she could. She’s quick.” Thatch looked to her seriously. “When we fought, if you hadn’t moved your left foot, then I would never have been able to get the upper hand and pin you. She held her own up until then.”
“Withstood Pop’s Haki blast, too, even if he wasn’t using his full power,” Izo added.
Ashina snorted. “Kind of glad he didn’t. Took a lot to stay on my feet that night.”
“What did you do before you met Ace? He said he interrupted your mission,” Marco mused.
“Oh,” Ashina smiled proudly. “I was a Revolutionary. I’ve trained and learned from some very powerful people the last four years.”
“Well… damn… A Revolutionary Pirate… what’d you know,” Thatch chuckled. “Paired with the Mera Mera user you’re a powerful addition to the crew.”
“The Missus has a high bounty,” Deuce commented.
“Missus?” Thatch screeched, eyes widening. “You’re married!”
Ashina rolled her own eyes, laughing. “No. It’s a nickname the crew gave me, and then part of the shitty epithet the marines came up with.”
“Uh huh.” Thatch looked between her and Ace, scrutinizing, before he finally turned to Marco. “How come the Rookie gets lucky enough to have a missus?”
Marco and Izo just laughed at his expense and eventually Ace, Ashina, and Deuce joined in.
.
.
.
The room was gradually becoming theirs. After a few stops at different islands Ashina had managed to replenish her wardrobe and find a few items to decorate the room. The rest of their belongings were still on the Spadille, which was anchored at the supply island where they had lost the fight to Whitebeard.
New, royal blue bedding covered the bed and a large wood and iron trunk sat at the foot of the bed. Ashina wanted to find another mirror and a new tapestry. They didn’t have window, but the assortment of candles and lanterns lit up the space in a warm glow in the late evening.
Ashina brushed her hair and then slipped on the short nightgown. This one was a pale blue cotton and stopped just below her backside. It was soft and hugged her curves, and she was eager for Ace to see it.
He wasn’t in their room yet, so she slipped on the knee length, pale pink robe. The soft cotton had purple and white flowers stitched along the edges. She tied the sash around her waist and padded out of the room barefoot. Having a feeling she knew where she’d find him, if he wasn’t having a narcoleptic episode somewhere, she headed for the deck. As she neared the bow, she spotted him at the front side, where they used to stand together on the Spadille. His eyes were focused on the star spackled sky, oblivious to Thatch and Marco watching him from around the side of the captain’s quarters.
Ashina strolled past them and headed for Ace. When she reached his side, she leaned in to his warmth and he instantly pulled her closer. His arm stayed around her waist and his fingers made circles on her hip. He held out his other palm, letting a flame dance and grow. She cupped her hands, warming them to his fire, as she leaned further into his chest.
“Do you trust me?” he whispered.
Ashina took her eyes away from the little flame to look into his gray ones. “Yes. I follow you, Ace. No matter what you choose to do. I trust you, Commander,” she purred.
“I’m not a Commander yet,” he replied softly.
She knew it was that choice, the ability to become the Second Division Commander, that kept him awake. “I don’t think you’ve made a bad decision yet.”
The little flame vanished and his warm fingers tilted her head up. He slowly lowered his mouth to hers and kissed her. It was tender, gentle, and it said more than any words ever could. He pulled back and his eyes studied hers for a moment before they found the horizon again.
The night was peaceful. The only sounds the waves of the ocean slapping against the side of the ship. It was a steady rhythm, as steady as his heartbeat. Ace took a deep breath and then spoke quietly.
“I want to tell Whitebeard about my father… before I decide to accept the offer.”
“Still want out? Become the Pirate King?”
“Do you want to leave, MIssus?”
Ashina smiled. “I follow you, Flame Boy. If you need to tell him before you decide to accept his offer then do so, but I don’t think we should leave. I would like to get my things off the Spadille one day.”
Ace chuckled and kissed the top of her head. Ashina brought a hand to his cheek and caught his attention. “I’m serious, Ace. I will follow you, and whatever you’re thinking. I don’t think it’s going to be as bad as you think. I trust you, have a little faith in yourself.”
Ashina leaned up on her tiptoes to press her lips to his. Her hands slid to his shoulders and his traced her curves slowly, stopping only once they cupped her round backside. She pulled away and gave him a smirk. “Don’t be all night. I’ll be in our room.”
When she passed Marco and Thatch, she cut her eyes over to them, catching their gaze. She gave them a wave and a grin. “Good night, creepers.”
“Ack! I’m not a creeper, yoi!”
.
.
.
When Ace entered the room, it was dark. He brought to life the three candles that sat on the table beside the bed. It illuminated Ashina in a soft glow. Her back was to him and the sheet was tangled around her legs, draped over her thighs. The nightgown bared most of her back to him and his eyes focused on her tattoo. Ace was hyper aware of how many eyes stared at her and he wasn’t ashamed to admit he was a little bit possessive. Ashina was his, she wasn’t his property and he’d never dare to say he owned her, but she was his, just as he was hers. Whatever they were. The flaming spade was a clear indicator that she was with him. The tattoo was almost always visible unless she had to cover it due to the weather, and she hated winter islands.
Ace couldn’t help but smile as he watched her for a moment, quietly toeing out of his boots. He shed his shorts and carefully crawled into the bed with her. Her eyes fluttered open as he pulled her closer to his chest. She looked up and him, a soft smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
“There you are,” she mumbled. Ashina stretched, back arching, before pressing against him, now more awake. “How’d it go? Should we be finding a way off the ship?”
Ace gave her a soft smile. “No, we’re not going anywhere.” He was still shocked by Whitebeard’s reaction to his admission. “He didn’t care, said we were all children of the sea.”
Ashina smiled and kissed the hollow of his throat before moving to look at him. “I told you it was all going to be okay. I knew he wouldn’t care. You aren’t Gol D Roger, Ace. He’s your father, but that’s it. Otherwise, he’s just a man. You are your own person. Your experiences have made you who you are, not him.”
“I’m still the Pirate King’s son.”
Ashina gave a half shrug. “So? I’m a Yonko’s daughter. You share the same blood and he passed down some features. That doesn’t make you him.”
Ace bent his head, kissing the tip of her nose. Ashina giggled softly and burrowed into his chest, pressing herself closer into his warmth. “So,” she whispered, “should I start calling you Commander?”
“It’s not official.”
“It will be. Commander.” She practically purred the title.
Ace smirked as her fingers brushed across his ribs. “Okay, Missus.”
Ashina snorted, digging a finger between his ribs and making him let out a yelp.
“Hey now!”
She giggled and shoved him, rolling him to his back as she laid on his chest, lifting her head to look at him. Her hair cascaded over her shoulder and down his side. The locks glowing ruby in the candlelight.
“What are we going to do with the Spadille?”
It was hard to think as her fingers traced patterns over his chest and shoulders, connecting freckles in the soft light. Ace caught her hand, stilling her motions, and sighed. “Hard to think when you do that.”
“Oh really? I should do it more often then,” she teased.
Ace rolled his eyes and then frowned slightly, thinking of a reply to her question. “We’ll have to burn her I guess, the Spadille, I can’t see her in someone else’s hands. Collect our things and then say goodbye. She was a damn good ship.”
“She was, but I doubt Whitebeard lets you sail her separately. Seems like most of the crew sails together.”
“Yeah. We haven’t sailed far from the island. Maybe we can go back and say goodbye to the Spadille properly. Might be nice to have a huge crew.”
“Might be nice to have a real cook,” she muttered. “Who sails the Grand Line without a real cook? Oh, that’s right, we did.”
Ace chuckled and tipped her head up with his fingers. He opened his mouth to say something but the words died on his lips as her green eyes stared into his. They were a dark emerald in the dim light, swirling with her own emotions that he could not name. The way she looked at him made his stomach flip and his heart race. Instead of words, his mouth slanted over hers and his hand slid from her jaw to tangle in the hair at the base of her neck.
.
.
.
Deuce, Aggie, and Saber carried the last crates off the ship, taking them over to the Moby Dick. Ashina stood near the mast as Ace looked around the deck one more time.
“Ready?” he asked.
“She’s yours. Are you ready, Captain?”
Ace smiled, surprised by her words, Captain he was used to, Commander was still new. Ace reached her side and wrapped his arm around her back, hand resting on her hip. Her arm slid around him and she reached up to kiss his jaw.
“I think so,” he said. “She was a good ship.”
“She was, Cap,” Deuce said, coming up behind them. “Crew’s on the deck of the Moby. Ready when you are.”
Ace nodded to Deuce, who turned back for the much large ship.
“On to new adventures. Thanks for getting us this far.” Ace pressed his hand to the mast and then turned both him and Ashina around.
He pulled her in front of him as they crossed the plank to the Moby Dick. Mihar and Aggie pulled the large plank back with the help of a few of the Second Division men.
“Ready, Commander?” Ashina asked, bringing Ace out of his thoughts as he stared at the Spadille.
Ace looked down at her with a smile and nodded. It was clear now, on the Spadille he had been a captain, but here, on this new leg of their adventure he was a Commander. “Yeah.”
She squeezed his hand and then let go as he stepped forward.
“Shinka: Shiranui,” Ace said, calling forth one of the long fiery lances. He hurled it across distance separating the two ships.
The lance lodged in the deck, just below the mast, the flames sparking and catching the wood on fire. The flames grew and spread, ember’s catching the sails and suddenly the ship was ablaze.
Ashina stepped forward, brushing Ace’s fingers with her own. He gripped her hand in his, holding onto her as they watched the Spadille burn. Their crew, now members of the Second Division, stood with them as they said their silent goodbye.
.
.
.
The celebration was in full swing, complete with copious amount of alcohol and food. Ace was officially the Second Division Commander. Ashina was proud of him. The role of a leader suited him, and the men in his division already respected him. His dream of becoming the Pirate King was shifting, he told her as much, but she thought no less of him. He still had a dream, a goal, and she had hers, and together they would try to accomplish them.
Crew members covered the expansive deck, but Ace kept her close. She didn’t mind the possessiveness. In fact, she rather enjoyed the fact that Ace wanted everyone to know she was with him. They never said it aloud, never called each other words like boyfriend or girlfriend, and Missus was just a nickname, but the feeling was there. The relationship between them was more than just lovers, more than just friends.
There was a quiet pause that caught her attention, pulling her out of her thoughts just before most of the crew around them shouted.
“He fell asleep!”
Ashina laughed, smiling at the freckled man beside her, who was in fact asleep. “Yeah, he does that sometimes.”
Whitebeard’s laughter was joined by several others. The laughter increased after a few minutes when Ace woke up and went right back to eating.
The slightest smirk tugged at the corners of her mouth. The sun brought out subtle copper strands of hair scattered in his otherwise dark mop. Without a shirt, the freckles on his broad shoulders stood out as well. Ace noticed her stare and held out the roll that was in his hand to her.
Ashina giggled and shook her head. “No thanks.”
Marco, a full mug of beer in his hand, sat across from them and grinned. “So, Ashina, are you going to get the Whitebeard mark, like your Spade?”
Ace paused in his eating to look over at her, waiting for her reply as well. The remark also caught Thatch and Deuce’s attention, both men looked up from their card game.
“I’m not in a division, nor am I a Whitebeard pirate. I’m a Revolutionary Spade.”
“The Spade pirates joined the Whitebeards,” Thatch commented.
“And? Doesn’t necessarily make me a Whitebeard pirate,” she counted.
“Then what are you?” Ace asked with a smile.
“Commander Ace’s Missus,” Deuce coughed in his hand.
Ashina shot him a glare and then grinned at Ace. “What I’ve always been, Ashina the Red-Haired Revolutionary Spade.”
Pops laughed, having heard their conversation, and chimed in. “I’ve never had a woman on the fighting crew, but you held your own against two of my Commanders. You’ll be in the second division under Commander Ace, Missus Spade,” he said, putting emphasis on the moniker the Marines gave her.
Deuce and Ace howled with laughter. Ashina dared to glare at Whitebeard. “Not funny, Pops.”
“You called him Pops yoi!”
Ashina turned to Marco and arched one brow. “What am I supposed to call him? Whitebeard? Edward? Sir?”
“Pops is fine,” Whitebeard said, catching their attention. “You’re a daughter of Whitebeard if you sail on this ship.”
Ashina caught the older man’s gaze and held it. She could feel the others watching them, several intrigued and a few tense. Ashina’s lips pulled into a grin, but she shot back, “I’ll call you Pops, and sail under your jolly roger, but I still have my own father.”
Whitebeard stared hard, but Ashina did not back down and after a moment he nodded. She expected him to ask her to name him, but surely, he knew. It wasn’t hard to make the connection if you thought about it long enough.
“Your father know you’re here?”
Ashina understood in those words, the meaning behind them and the questioning stare he gave her. Whitebeard was not a stupid man. He knew.
“He knows I’m with Ace. He’ll figure it out soon enough, if he hasn’t already.”
“Will he show up looking for you?”
“Scared?” she teased.
Several of the crew gasped at her comment, but Whitebeard laughed loudly, “Gurararara.”
“If he does it won’t be to fight,” she added. “Well, I guess at least not over me.”
“Who’s your father?” Marco asked.
Ashina grinned and stood from her place beside Ace. “A pirate.”
