𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓽 3:

Birds chirping, soft and peaceful waves hitting the ship. Maybe this was a dream? Y/n's life has always been chaos, chaos and more chaos and now she's a part of her brother's crew?

Y/n's eyes flustered open, meeting the bright sunlight coming from her cabin window. She got off the hammock, rubbing her eyes, she went into the bathroom which was smaller than she expected.

A sigh escaped her lips as she stepped into the shower.

After a good hot shower, y/n stepped out the shower wrapped a towel around her body, then she heard a knock.

"why right now!?"

she mumbled to herself and put up her outfit which looked like this:

She opened the door, revealing the somewhat panicked navigator, Nami.

"Hey! y/n, um I just wanted to ask have you seen Sanji?"

Nami asked waiting for y/n's answer.

"The cook? No I haven't, why?" Y/n replied, leaning against the wall.

"Well um he is kind of missing.. he have been trying to find him everywhere but no trace of him"

Nami answered, before Y/n could even process the information, the both heard a yell from Luffy.

"Everyone! Crew meeting in the deck now!"

Luffy had the same panicked tone as Nami.

Nami and y/n hurried to the deck finding, Zoro leaning against a wall, Ussop trying to calm Luffy down, and Luffy almost at the point of raging.

"Okay there is a serious problem here, Sanji is MISSING"

Luffy blurted out, Y/n's eyebrows raised as she tilted her head.

"How can he go missing? Our ship was locked and secured the whole night"

She said.

"That what we all are asking!" The crew said together.

"Well do guys have any enemies that would do these things?"

Y/n questioned.

"No.... Wait, yes! We do!"

Nami answered.

Who? That stupid clown?"

Zoro replied sarcastically.

"Yes! Maybe it's binkey!"

Luffy said making the crew sigh.

"It's Buggy!!"

They all said in reunion except Luffy, of course.

Luffy laughed in response.

★time skip orange town★

The crew hurried went to Buggy's circus. Finding none other than the clown himself.

"Finally, you people arrived, looks like there is also an other fool who joined the crew"

Buggy said, referring to y/n as the "fool". But still Y/n stayed calm, her eyes were burning holes into the clown's head.

"Where is Sanji!?!?!?"

Luffy shouted, his voice echoing through the circus.

"Oh I just gave him a nice treatment of pain..... He didn't seem to enjoy it tho, oh well it's not like I was going to kill him.....Was I?"

Buggy said with his cocky confidence which was bothering everyone.

"Where. Is. Sanji."

Nami growled, Buggy can feel the tension coming from the crew, this is what he wanted.

"Well if you want your crewmate back.... You have to fight me"

He said with a cocky smirk, thinking he was going to win.

Without warning, Luffy immediately punched Buggy, sending Buggy whole head flying back.

Taking this as a chance, y/n took the nearest cloth rag and stuffed head into the bag, tieing it so he won't get out.

"Finally that shitty clown shuted up"

Y/n said throwing the bag out the circus.

The crew sighed in relief, then Zoro spoke up.

"Okay, let's go find the cook"

The crew agreed and searched for Sanji together.

Finally they found Sanji in the broom closet.

He looked horrible. He had a slash on his wrist, a bruise on his cheek and some blood on his forehead. He was also unconscious.

Nami was the first one to run over to him, trying to shake him awake but still no response.

Y/n was also slightly panicked seeing his condition. Then y/n spoke up.

"We should take him back to the ship"

The crew agreed and took the cook to the ship, laying him on the bed. Y/n checked his pulse which was stable for now.

The crew watched with worried looks.

"His going to be okay, right y/n?"

Ussop questioned, concerned for Sanji's wellbeing.

"His heartbeat is stable, someone needs to monitor him for the night, I'll do it."

Y/n replied making the crew relieved.

"Okay, take care of him, y/n"

Luffy said. Y/n sighed in response.

The crew went back to they're duties, checking in on Sanji time to time.

★time skip to night★

Nami cooked dinner for everyone <3

As the night settled in everyone went to their cabins except y/n since she was looking after Sanji.

While y/n was changing his clothes she heard a faint mumbled from the cook.

"Y/n is sooo pretty"

Y/n couldn't help but chuckle, this boy is flirty even when unconscious.

Maybe this crew isn't bad afterall.

Childish giggles from Luffy were interrupted by Zoro's voice.

"Luffy who is she?" He asked the question everyone was wondering about.

"Well everyone, this is my sister, y/n" he finally answered.

"You had a sister!?" Nami exclaimed.

"Hehe, sorry I didn't mention her earlier" Luffy mumbled out an apology.

Before the crew could say anything the girl spoke first.

"I'm Y/n, Monkey D Y/n" she introduced herself, the crew was inquired by her bold yet cold introduction.

"And your our captain's sister?" Ussop said curiously.

"Yes, I am her sister" she responded, her voice was deep and firm.

"Who old are you?" Zoro continued the interview session.

"Twenty-four" she replied making that crew's eyes widened, she was older than anyone in the crew!.

"Huh?" Nami said, looking like a deer staring at an incoming car.

Before y/n could respond in a annoyed tone Luffy spoke up.

"She's my older sister guys and she's going to join the crew" Luffy said confidently, making y/n dumbfounded.

"What?" She said, now making her look like a deer staring at an incoming car.

"Hm? You don't want to join?" Luffy asked.

"But- why?" She asked, more concerned than curious.

"What do you mean why? Your my sister! I need you!" He said with a cheerful smile.

"Okay okay" y/n mumbled, still kinda confused, but her thoughts were disturbed by the orange haired girl's voice.

"Welcome to the crew! I'm Nami" she spoke with a welcoming tone.

"This is Zoro, the right hand man of the crew and also the first mate" she continued.

"And this is Ussop, the shooter" she said.

"And finally, this is Sanji, the perverted cook" she said teasingly.

The captain's sister scoffed.

"That explains a lot" she said, getting a smirk from Sanji.

★time skip to the going Mary★

A sighed escaped Luffy's lips as he started into the purple-red sky, it was beautiful but he was bored, he's pout turned into a hopeful smile as he felt a presence beside him, it was Zoro.

"I'm still suprised that you invited your sister into the crew" Mosshead said also staring at the sky.

"You don't know what she did for me" Luffy spoke in a calm voice, making Zoro inquired.

"What did she do huh?" Zoro said finally turning he's gaze to Luffy.

Luffy sighed as he continued.

"Growing up, we had a abusive step-mother, she used to always abuse us in different ways, well y/n also took the abuse, and always protected me, Ace and Sobo. And the thing is y/n never ever broke down but I know she is always suffering inside. She's a responsible older sister." Luffy said, not wanting to tear up in front of he's bestfriend.

Zoro took a while to process the disturbing information, he's mind went blank as he heard the story, y/n was actually a good person inside..

"Oh" that was the only word that passed he's mouth.

"Well, let's go have dinner before Sanji gets annoyed" Luffy spoke.

"Yeah..." Zoro replied.

Now the crew was in the kitchen, peacefully eating, Luffy was talking to Sanji, Nami was giggling with Ussop, which leaves Zoro and y/n.

Zoro leaned back on the chair, he's gaze on Y/n.

"If you're going to keep staring at me, at least tell me what you want" she said looking him up and down.

Zoro scoffed."Can't I even look at my crewmates?" He said sarcastically.

"You're not even looking anymore, you're straight up watching my every move" she said with the same sarcastic tone as him.

Zoro just scoffed in response, he's mind wondering why this girl is so careless and bold.

After dinner, everyone said they're goodnights and went to their cabins.

Y/n stepped into her cabin, putting her guns on the table and lied on the hammock, eventually falling asleep.

Tomorrow is going to be fun, well maybe.

Soft waves hitting the ship filled Luffy's mind, well until Nami's hectic yells met Luffy's ears.

He turned around to see the crew being chaotic as usual, Sanji was flirting with Nami and She looked like she wants to hit him with the pan he's cooking with, Zoro was quietly sharpening his swords judging everyone's existence, Ussop was binging on some popcorn as usual, but Luffy wasn't acting like he's usual self, he's very cheerful and loud but now he was silent?, there was obviously something on he's mind and Zoro was the first one to notice it, Zoro could see worry on Luffy's face but Why?.

Luffy was always a carefree person, Zoro was intrigued enough to go up to Luffy.

"Oi, Captain why the long face?" Zoro said which immediately sent Luffy back into reality.

"Huh?, oh nothing nothing I was just thinking about something" Luffy mumbled, barely maintaining eye contact with Zoro, well that clearly made Zoro suspicious.

"And that "something" is?" Zoro said raising an eyebrow.

"It-" Luffy was about to continue until They heard Ussop.

"There is an island ahead!!!" Ussop yelled, everyone looked out the window, it was some random island but It still looked interesting.

Okay it looks like a fair island, hope there's some spices" Sanji said mumbled.

"Okay everyone let's visit the island!" Luffy said brightly, he's goofy personality came back.

The crew got out of the ship and stepped into the island, Nami went to a clothing store, Zoro went to a bar with Luffy, Sanji and Ussop however went to the local farmers market since the ship is running out of food, while Sanji was checking which pear was ripped he's eyes caught a girl, she really stood out, wearing a slik red shirt and black pants, a black jacket, a heart necklace on her neck, eyes glowing red, her silky hair let down, a scar of the side of her lip, but the thing is she looked unapproachable, her cold gaze scaning the fruits and vegetables, a gun in her back pocket. Sanji the flirty basterd he is didn't take the warning signs and approached her.

"Hiii, I'm Sanji, I was just wondering why a pretty girl like you is wondering around this market" Sanji said in a flirty tone, the girl shot him a glance, looked him up and down and went back to scaning the fruits and vegetables, Sanji was still not giving up.

"Oh come on beautiful, Can I get your name?" Sanji said with a smirk.

"Y/n" she said finally looking at him.

"God, just a beautiful name" he said leaning against the counter.

The flirt talk of Sanji was interpreted by a loud scream, gun shot sounds filled the market and a voice was heard.

"Everyone on the ground, now!" A guy in a mask and a gun in he's hand, everyone did as he said except Y/n and Sanji, the masked guy turned to the two.

"Want me to shoot?" He said menacingly.

"No-" Sanji was about to respond, but the girl spoke first.

"Go ahead I'd love to see you try" she said, obviously unbothered.

"Aw, is a weak girl trying to challenge me?" The masked guy said with a smirk making her roll her eyes and reached out to her back pocket putting out a Handgun, the masked guy flinched.

"Where the hell did you get t- that?" He asked kinda scared. The girl scoffed and pointed the gun at him.

"None of your business, now get lost or I'll shoot" she said making the masked guy even more scared.

"Ok, ok." He mumbled and ran away, everyone turned to the girl, their jaws dropped, did she just save they're asses?.

"Oh My God, you'll be perfect in my crew!" Sanji exclaimed, making the girl slightly intrigued.

"What crew?" She asked curiously.

"The strawhats!, our captain is monkey D Luffy!" He exclaimed again.

Y/n got a wave of deja vu.

"Luffy?" She mumbled, her eyes widening.

"You know him?" Sanji asked kinda confused.

"Where's your captain!?" She looked around.

"He's at the local bar, why?" He asked titled he's head.

She didn't even answer and immediately went to the local bar, opening the door she could already see her younger brother.

"Luffy!" She exclaimed, a smile spreading on her face, that was rare.The captain's head turned to the girl and he's eyes widened as he immediately stood up.

"Y/n!" He exclaimed back and immediately hugged her, this was all being watched by the crew who just came back from whatever they were doing, they were confused as hell, Luffy never opened up about he's family so the crew didn't know who the hell this girl was, yet.

glass shattering, aggressive yells, Y/n was the one who had to stay strong in these disturbing times.

dragon's new wife was rather abusive. Y/n never told her father about the abuse thinking that he might find her crazy and he'd disown her, neither Luffy, Ace or Sobo spoke up about this, they were just too scared....

One night six years ago when y/n was 15, they're step-mother came back and the abuse started once again, they feared what was going to happen again especially to y/n.

Y/n locked the boys inside their rooms and told them to not come out, the poor boys could hear their oldest sister getting hit, slapped, slashed, and so on, it was terrifying for the boys, their sister gave everything just to protect them from the abuse she went through. The door handle begin to move the boys got scared and moved back, the door opened revealing their step-mother in rage and their sister behind trying to stop her.

"Step-mother please they did nothing, do whatever you want with me just not with them, please" y/n begged.

"Shut it stupid girl!, put these boys back to sleep and go do the chores!" Their step-mother yelled

"Yes step-mother" y/n mumbled and went to boys after their step-mother left, the boys looked horrified especially Luffy, he was in the verge of tears, he immediately jumped into y/n's arms and buried he's face into her shoulder.

"Why do we have to stay in this house, sis?" He said crying, this broke Y/n's heart.

"We will leave eventually, okay?" Y/n spoke comfortingly but inside she was in the verge of a breakdown, but she can't let her younger siblings see her cry, it would make this situation worst.

This abuse went on almost everyday and eventually they all left to be on their own, they were free from the abuse especially

Y/n..Maybe that's what changed her.
