Hi! Thank you for being open to doing matchups. Would you match me with a male KNY character?

Strengths: Curious about people and the world around me.

Observant, I tend to notice things people miss and get a fair grasp of people's character from a few details.

I want to make the world a better place, and I'm the type of person who can figure out how to do so, then make it happen.

Weaknesses: I can come off as aloof/intimidating. I'm learning to become more approachable and put my walls down for people who deserve it.

I'm working on being better at self-care, being kind to myself psychologically as well as taking care of my physical needs.

My spaces can be very messy. I have an extraordinarily high tolerance for mess.

Quirks: People tend to comment on my intelligence first, though I don't find it particularly remarkable or indicative of my character.

I've traveled a lot, worked at professional levels in very different fields, and generally have a surprising assortment of unrelated experiences.

I like plants and stories.

Hello there, like I say to the kind visitors who come to my humble little imagines blog, thank you for choosing! Your description of yourself, kind of matches with mine, in some traits I'm the same haha!

Without further ado, I match up with:

Tomioka Giyuu!!

*Alright, he's aloof too, seemingly hard to approach and also hard to read, but once you get to know him, he's very different. If the both of you are in private, then he will have a way to start speaking, since he had said he certainly hates talking, but if he's close to someone, he becomes a little more talkative.

*In self-care the both you of you can help each other, he also has a long way to care for himself, when he's not feeling like it he leaves his hair loose and a total mess, but with the help of each other, with a little of mutual helping, then it can work out.

*He lives in a quite desserted house, and somewhere in there, must a sort of mess, when he's being depressed he doesn't clean up the house or himself, if you decide to move with him, then you'll see what I mean.

*He's a good listener, because he doesn't speak too often, if the both of you are in public, then you'll feel as if you've been on your own the duration of your trip in the open, he doesn't seem to be huge on PDA but in private then a few touches, here and there, he's more motivated while being intimate.

*He also wants a better world, a world where everyone can smile and be happy with their families, your vision of wanting to make the world a better place for everyone is shared, he will say how his biggest wish was living with his beloved older sister and his best friend, but because of the tragedies that happened in his life, those two beloved ones of his are not by his side anymore, he may feel scared to lose you if he becomes this close to him, but will try not to push you away.

*He has a sort of keen intellect, but also he doesn't care too much about that, if he sees you're smart, then he won't worry that much about you being in a life-threatening situation with a demon or someone with ill-intent, he'll know that you can handle yourself by use of your intellect.

*He's definitely an indoor person, hearing you have traveled to many places, he'll become curious and ask you what have you learned or discovered in the many places that you have been too. Even wonder if you can speak more than one languange.

*Giyuu's very observant too, nothing goes past his eyes without him knowing, you two also share that personality trait, so if either one of you try to hide something from each other, it would be difficult for how observant the both of you are and would bust either one or each other in the act, if you're being obvious that something is bothering you both.

*Giyuu and you work so well, aloofy type of people, but trying to be more approachable, you to work together. He's really, really your match up, Giyuu needs more love anyway, be sure to hand it over to him, see how in return he will do the same for you.

3 of them!

The third and final part of turning me and my siblings into demon slayers: my brother! He’s the only one out of the three of us that exercises regularly and actually does martial arts so he gets to be the strongest :P he’s also the tallest, like 10 whole inches taller than both me and my sister but he’s actually the middle child! And he’s only a year and a half older than me :)

For his weapon I wanted something similar to a staff but also containing a blade, because he showed me some staff forms one time for his martial arts club and it was really cool :0 so I’m not sure how viable the twin-blade staff would actually be in battle or how it would be made (but if the sword smith village can make kanroji a whole whip out of a metal blade then I think they can definitely make a scabbard out of metal). The way it works is that when sheathed, the blade is a full staff, and either side individually can unsheathe to make a spear. It can also separate down the middle to become two swords, which is much more effective for traditional breathing styles. Shougen is the only one strong enough out of the siblings to fight effectively without the assistance of wisteria poison.

Just for a clear thing, I had not picked this man for you due to the fact of how much you loved him. He was my top option for you when I was in the middle of reading your personality. On to the Headcanons!

The floor seemed to creak under your sandals. You, the new Hashira, had been given the rank of a Hashira. How could anyone seem to reuse an honour like that? Certainly not you. The paper had wrinkled up when you had received it, but the bold handwriting was clear. It had seem that you were recommended to be a Hashira by a man who went by Rengoku,

You knew of him, who didn’t? Well, unless they weren’t a demon slayer. He was known for his loud voice but there must have been more to him, right? Upon meeting him, you thanked him endlessly. This man had changed your life, only because he thought you were an impressive fighter. For a time, he mentored you for a bit until the official role of a Hashira had been given to you.

He loves how optimistic you are. He grew up in a house that looked down at him, yet you found beauty in the smallest of things. It was truly a gift.

The two of you go to the library quite often and get scolded at. The chapters seem to never end with Rengoku but you seemed so fascinated by samurais. The amount of times you have been scolded by the librarian due to his loud voice is unbelievable. But upon seeing your disappointment of not being able to stay any louder, he felt bad. He really did try to lower his voice the next time he went to the library, he could feel the eyes of the librarian looking at him with perhaps a smile.

You are his best friend. No one seems to understand him really. All he is to them is a loud mouth. But you… you understood his burden and helped him carry them. You see the real version of him and he sees the truth of you. A person who hides away all their struggles for others surely needs someone. He will laugh with you and cry with you. What you feel, he feels too. And if you ever are in a state of wrong, he will guide you through it. He affirms you with words and food, food makes everyone happy! Especially doughnuts!

You both have such high energy! Never letting a day go to waste and always making sure to leave the house at least twice a day! Where it’s for small walks or hiking in the forest, he always seems to be making everything more fun than when the activity is done alone.

He doesn’t kinda like being a Hashira but a part of him longs to be a family man. To have a wife eating for him at home and kids running to hug him when he arrives.

His confession had to be special. A memory that could not be forgotten by you or him. It was a nice spring day, the sun wasn’t blazing down at you. The petals on the cherry blossom fell softly on your hair. The two of you sat down and ate and talked. That’s when he went quiet. Something did feel off, he was so loud seconds ago. That’s when he told you he liked you. You smiled at him and kissed him, it was soft and his lips were warm. No, they were sort of hot.. the feeling you get when you eat something spicy. But they were somehow sweet. But it made sense, he was after all eating your baked goods a while ago, the sugar still at the corner of his lips.

After dating for a while, he wanted the next step. He went to Tengen, he did have three wives after all so he must be a professional. But he didn’t listen to Tengen despite wanting to. His ideas were too flashy. Rengoku had to do something else. Despite not being a good baker, he tried. When you left for a mission, he stayed home and made cake. On top he had written a proposal. ‘Will You Marry Me?’ Tears stinged in your eyes as you saw that. You said yes. The wedding wasn’t that big, just a few relatives and friends. Mitsuri was your maid of honour, mainly since she wanted to be part of the wedding but also the happiness she felt for you.

The rays of the sun managed to sneak through the opening of your curtains. He was already awake. He sat in the kitchen, adjusting his clothes. It seemed he was going for a mission. Your two year old daughter sat across him, brown hair in two pigtails and red eyes attached to her cereal bowl. He kissed the two of you goodbye, his favourite girls. But no one had told you that would be your final kiss. What had seemed to be seconds after his departure, a black crow pecked at your window. A letter was attached to his foot. You were worried, your husband wasn’t back and now his crow was at your window. When you read the letter, you wished you could turn back time… you sobbed in your room, tears spilling out.

Rengoku was dead…

You can protect HIM! From the dangers that lurk around Which makes him stick to you like his life support ALSO YOUR TALL? He is going to cuddle with you EVERY SECOND HE HAS (Tall queen in his eyes). Your Perfect brown eyes and your long eyelashes Make him think you were an angel sent from the heavens! AND YOUR HAIR! He can't help but stare at it and gush about it being as soft as the clouds! Your Nose IS ADORABLE AND HE IS GOING TELL TO YOU HOW YOUR FACE WAS DESIGN BY THE GODS! Each detail he will rant about! a relationship with Zenitsu is YOU BE THERE WITH HIM ALL THE TIME! (Besides when you want time alone of course! he learned the hard way that when you want to be alone, it’s better to leave you other. He refuses to let you out his slight! Unless you want to be. He can be doing anything but you just make it 10 times better!, Training? You gotta be there!, Eating? He wants to feed you! sleeping? He wants to make sure you are still with him! And slaying demons? He feels secure as he sees you can protect yourself and him! When you and him have available free time he loves just watching or trying to work out with you! (He is impressed and STILL MADLY IN LOVE!), He also enjoys sitting next to you while you enjoy the sun maybe even talking to you! Unless you want it to be silent of course just don't mind him staring at you! (If you do mind let him know he will understand!), He also will try to help with your plants in every way though don't expect him to be nervous! he never had a plant and he would hate to be the reason one of your beloved plants die! (also if a plant does die don't be surprised if you see a new plant sitting in its place! Zenitsu doesn't want you to feel upset if your plants keep dying so he trys to replace them without you knowing!), and let's say he is more than willing to go to beaches or any body of water! Though he might just faint he is protective too! Only he can see your goddess-like features, Also HE WILL ONLY EAT WHAT YOU MAKE!, He can't stand eating anything else as it doesn't have the love made with it which matters deeply to Zenitsu! Also, he tries to help with your studying but he doesn't know most of the stuff you are learning so he attempts to learn from you when you talk about your studying!

When you and Zenitsu sleep together, Zenitsu can't help just cuddling up to you unless you don't want him to cuddle with you in that case he might yank an extra pillow or two for more comfort when sleeping! if you can't go to sleep he is willing to speak to you as long you want! Always allowing you to speak first! (Clue him nodding and noting everything down about your day and anything you talk about) Back to Zenitsu love to cuddle! He loves physical contact and any sweet words from you! He will return the flavor also! He enjoys all the time you spend with him! And he believes he is the luckiest guy in the world to have such an amazing person by his side. He quickly learns to be less nervous and insecure when you go out by yourself as he learns you are loyal which just made his heart beat faster than normal!, and he will be loyal to you as well! (He if not busy will be waiting for you to come back maybe some wild pick flowers in his hand!)

Also, he gains pride seeing how you are always the one to bring life to any place you go with your smile and jokes! (also your funny antics, heck he might even join in as well!). In the early start of the relationship, he didn't realize he was overbearing to you once he did, he worked on himself which made him happy and more willing to give you freedom (Just don't break this man's heart if you do then he probably will always be clingy to anyone he cares about) also now and then he passed by you Not on purpose and he will just see you being yourself which makes him happy and relieved knowing that you not pretending about all this and you are a truly the angel he knows!.

Also, he likes to remind you a lot!, (For ex Have you eaten enough?, Are you still tired? Need help?) He justs like to know you are the most healthy you can be! Also, the most inloved you can be! And Never FORGET ONE THING… He loves you dearly and cares (also worries) About you daily and is willing to help as long you and him both live also he makes sure you're not miserable in this relationship because he may love it, but if you don't then sadly it isn't a real relationship if you are acting unusual he will try to figure out why and even plead with you but if none of that works he will try to get help from his friends!. Once he figured out what was wrong he trys his best to figure out how to fix this issue maybe asking advice from his friends or anyone knowledgeable. But if it is something he can't fix he feels bad about his worth of being a boyfriend/husband but will try to make things better with gifts, dinners, and other fun activities (Tho he maybe will cry to you about it because even in a relationship, a man needs to express himself to about his concerns and worries! As long it isn't to overbearing)

Speaking about his worries, he worries that he can't keep you safe even if he is around with that alwaying being in his head, he may allow you to do training to become of demon slayer (Just dont expect him not cry sightly, He worries this is his last time of ever seeing you again!)

Once you become a demon slayer he ensures you can protect yourself from any demon attacks (Maybe even him..) But just to be very sure, when he can he trys to be with you or if not his friends will be there.

fandoms i would like: same as yours, bsd and demon slayer. no preference as long as they arent too young!

prominent personality traits: passionate, levelheaded, contemplative, opinionated, honest (heart on my sleeve). realistic but optimistic about it. individualistic. i am an ambivert. sometimes my mouth runs and i trip up over what i am going to say, and i'm blunt. sx/sp. im a big person on wanting improvement and having ambition (mostly for myself, but i will encourage others).

hobbies/talents: i like to read and write and listen to music and taking walks. i draw too. i'm really good at explaining things in a very cohesive manner. my logic is really good, so my persuasion is extremely good too. im very efficient and creative, which i apply to many things in real life. i also have very good intuition.

you + dazai would just be two little peas in a pod. the thing he appreciates most about you is your appreciation for ambition, as well as how you can tell someone like it is! he hates people who beat around the bush, but he really revels in the fact that he’ll never have to worry about that with you. you guys rarely ever fight because every discussion is level headed + free of insults/trickery (on your part at least, we all know dazai can be a cunning man). dazai could sit + listen to you talk for h o u r s. he’ll be sitting there with his chin resting on his open palm, a small smirk on his lips as he listens to you talk about whatever you’re passionate about that day. after you’re done with your speech, he’ll just wrap his arms around your waist and give you a sweet smile and a kiss on the cheek.

getting to know dazai can be difficult, though, even if he loves you. he’s very closed off + protective of his feelings, so it takes a lot for him to be able to trust someone. when he met you, though, he could see that you were his twin flame. he felt as though you’d be able to understand the inner workings of his heart and mind, so he’d share them with you. you’re the one + only person he’d open up to like that, so be grateful! conversations with him can be so deep and provoking that you’ll both be left squinting at the sunlight streaming in through your windows, wrapped up in each other’s arms, after pulling an all-nighter just to talk.

dazai thinks you’re soooo intelligent, so he’ll often ask you for advice if there’s a situation at the detective agency that’s got him stumped. he’s so thankful to have you on his slide, because you truly can open his mind to perspectives he’s never seen. he also really admires the way you can bring things together to flow so smoothly, + he believes that this is truly a showing of just how smart you are! with that being said, dazai will constantly be trying to challenge your intelligence. whether that be with little riddles, pranks, games of chess/checkers, quizzes on random facts he’s picked up on—all of it, you gotta stay on your toes!

dazai’s favorite thing to do with you is to walks around downtown yokohama! he knows you love going for walks + he can identify with that, as walks usually help him clear his mind. you guys will stroll next to the river, in between the tall buildings, stopping at various food or knick knacks stalls just to see what there is to see. you guys pretty much have the entire city mapped out by heart from how many walks you go on. dazai tries to make it a nightly occurrence, only because he knows that work can keep him pretty busy, so being able to hear you, his favorite person, talk about your day while strolling around yokohama, his favorite city, is the best way he can think of to unwind after work.

rengoku love love LOVES your passionate + optimistic self! its something he admires so deeply about you, like he really couldn’t have chosen a better person for himself. he wouldn’t be able to get along with someone who’s closed minded or negative, but he always tries his best to befriend most people! he doesn’t have to try with you, though, it’s extremely natural for him. he also really admires that you’re always striving for improvement + that you have great ambition, because he can definitely relate to that. he loves that your relationship consists of building each other up + encouraging each other to do your best + give your all no matter what you do.

a relationship w rengoku would being by his side at all times. he never wants to let you out of his sight! whether he’s training, reading, sleeping, eating, he’ll want you to be there! on a cozy night, one could find you + rengoku cuddled up under a kotatsu, reading or writing, often interrupting each other to show off something one of you found interesting in your book or to get opinions on your writing. he’s the biggest cuddle bug in the world, so he absolutely loves any sort of physical contact or affections from you. in his perfect world, you’d always be underneath that kotatsu in the winter, or splayed out on a futon in the summer, with your fingers running through his fiery locks while he just listens to whatever is on your mind.

another thing about rengoku is that he always wants to make sure you’re taken care of. it’s always “have you eaten?” or “did you sleep well?” or “do you need help with anything?” he’s your number one fan + he always wants to make sure that you’re content in life. if there’s anything that’s upsetting you, he will coax you into telling him + then immediately figure out a way to solve it. if it’s something that he has no control over, the empath in him will take over + he will also be upset. sometimes even more upset than you are. we love showings of solidarity in a partner.

rengoku also really wants you to be safe at all times, even though he’s almost always around to protect you, he worries for the day that he won’t be around when you need him. with this being said, you two will spend countless hours training. he’ll teach you the basics + teach you special ways in which you can protect yourself until he’s absolutely satisfied. it’s a dangerous world out there, but rengoku will be damned if his girl can’t protect herself!

Ok, so I haven’t been interacting with Demon Slayer lately so my memory is slightly fuzzy

Have you realised how bright a person you are? He has been so alone his whole life, trouble after trouble facing him. Then you come. So bright and happy, blonde curls bouncing up and those amber eyes, reflecting the sun, were an entrance to your beautiful soul that always seems to be making him smile

Your demeanors go so well. His quiet, stoic and logical nature seems to be the exact opposite of your bubbly, upbeat and chaotic nature. He seems to be also making sure the two of you stay out of trouble at all times just to be sure that you don’t charge straight into battle. He knows you're capable of yourself but he always wants to make sure that everything is perfect and safe so neither of you die.

He finds you so graceful. Your fighting style was almost mirroring Mitsuri in a way but the way you gently get rapidly run around and twist like a ballerina is enchanting. You make fighting look like a dance that even him , the youngest hashira, couldn’t achieve.

Whenever you are working on your illustrations and stressed out/ overworking yourself, he brings in a sunflower as a sweet reminder. You remind him of a sunflower in fact. A sunflower is a symbol of faith and devotion, and here you are, working so hard if something you are devoted to entirely. A sunflower also represents radiating brightness and positive energy. And when I tell you to make this boy so happy, you don’t understand. He always seems to be smiling at you, even when you crack a dark joke that he may not understand.

He always makes sure you take rest in between your work periods. You come home from a mission and immediately start doing something? He will immediately drag you to bed and do it yourself. And don’t even try telling him that you are fine, he may be quiet but he is also observant.

You are so tall! He thinks he should be the taller one of the relationship due to being the male but he loves your height. Always telling people ‘that’s my girlfriend’ when they look at you.

First thing I wake up and do is post sabigiyuu

Giyuu has misophonia. I DON'T MAKE THE RULES!

For those who don’t know, it sucks lmao. It’s when a person has a strong emotional reaction to specific sounds (like a fight-or-flight response). Imagine someone clicking a pen repeatedly. For the average person it’s either mildly annoying or it’s tuned out as background noise. For someone w/ misophonia though, it grates on your soul; makes you wanna rip your hair out, scream, cry, run away and jump out of your skin all at once.

Anyway back to my hc; This would probably make more sense to project onto Zenitsu or Tengen because of their expert hearing (& I’d like to say Zen suffers from miso too) but Giyuu is The Guy™️. it’s so easy to slap a label on him and for it to Fit. Y’know ?

He’s like a doll you can dress up and give various hairstyles to. A fresh cut of clay that can be shaped into anything your heart desires.

Sabito too honestly, they’re a set pair. I can’t sculpt giyuu while ignoring Sabito. Anyway I hc Sabito as a noisy eater (not messy like giyuu just loud) but when he learns that it’s a trigger sound for Giyuu he starts working on it.

He finds out about Giyuu’s misophonia early on in their relationship since they’re always together

Giyuu isn’t a fan of group dinners because most don’t know and the sounds just get to him. Sabito is quick to point out anyone’s loud & annoying habits

He’s just,,,so quick to defend Giyuu & Giyuu would do the same for Sabito if not more (they’re so in love I can’t)

This could work in either modern or canon (Sabito lives) au
